Contrary to expectations, our MC came not from the present but some time in the future, a world that is similar to earth in its premise but different in some aspects, the war technology of that world is a bit similar to the fallout universe with a bit of the warhammer 40k series. Although it is still pretty much similar to ours minus the energy shortage in the fallout universe and the endless war of the warhammerverse

So expect to see some power armor action and some rhino APCs in this novel
Contrary to the real timeline tho, the monarchy in that world is still going strong.
The timeline that the MC got reincarnated to tho, is just the past iteration of that timeline.
The MC is an enthusiast of gunsmithing because of his military background, with a basic knowledge of aviation engineering and some knowledge about naval engineering although his knowledge is not enough to build some really large and epic aircrafts and naval vessels, it will make do for his current timeline.
The Overseer and the Lord of Eternal Sin are characters from my other novel (haven't started it yet), the overseer is the "son" of the Lord of Eternal Sin, while the Lord of Eternal Sin is something that I won't explain yet for he is going to be a major character in that different novel of mine. Just know that he's the most powerful being in the the multiverse.

John, a 60 yr. old filipino general, a big nerd about gunsmithing and also a virgin whose only experience with romance are those dating simulator games found himself on the verge of death, thinking about what happened all throughout his life, looking at the void, thinking about what he could have done to improve the life of those around him and probably himself, he regrets not being able to speak up and do something about the corruption of his country's government despite his power, he could've done more yet he didn't, he thinks of himself as a failure, a hypocrite and a traitor to his own country, as he believes in the saying that "those who close their eyes to the injustices around them are also one of the perpetrators of said injustice"

He gave one last breath in his deathbed thinking about those things, yet what he doesn't know is he'll have a chance to be so much more, an opportunity none ever had.

well this novel is not gaining much readers , way lesser than I had thought . it's not a problem though as those who are reading it are awesome ones . thank you .

from your comments i can see that some of you find something's confusing like timeline and more more bloodline . let me explain a little within my meager abilities then .

1. timeline ..

the timeline is 4 years before the start of 2nd great shinobi world war . I dont remember the exact time and only know that minato was 10 when he graduated and soon was sent to war . so mc being the same age as minato , you can understand the timeline a little now.

I'm sorry if I'm wrong though because I have not  watched the naruto anime since few years ago so my memory is vague . I'm not confident in many details.  but its my own fanfiction so some things can be adjusted . at least that's what I think .

2. more more bloodline 

this one is a unique power . I dont know how many of you have watched the anime one piece. in some filler arc or movie , I dont remember exactly but there was a character called Brynndi World who had eaten more more fruit or Japanese translation which is moa moa no mi.  

the meaning is increasing human.  basically fruit enables user to increase the size, speed or strenght of something he touches including his own body till the limit of 100 folds . I liked this ability very much so thought of using it in a naruto fanfiction .

so the more more bloodline of mc ren hatake is basically the same as fruit but with some twists I added . he needs chara to activate his powers and I thought it would not look good if i made him able to use 100 fold powers from the start . so i decided to limit the abilities which he would unlock more in time with collecting exp points like those rpg games and leveling up the bloodline .

I'm sure that most of you guys will clear your doubts after reading this explanation of mine. if some still dont understand something then they can always leave a comment . 

but please dont trash talk like mc is annoying or whatever you wrote in those comments . I dont have confidence in my work but still I like the character development . if you have any ideas to make the novel more interesting then please free to comment . I will try to add somethings if I find them interesting enough.

in the year 2020 , the world's richest businessman Henry clark died . he became the victim of pandemic Corona virus .

millions were sad with his death because Henry was also the owner of thousands of charity funds that helped millions in different countries . 

but henry didnt know that his dream adventure would start after his sudden death.

after death , the next thing henry knew that he was standing in front of an old man who called himself god of reincarnation. Henry's act of charity produced many world class people who helped humanity with research, business and many other fields .

therefore henry had accumulated huge amount of karma points which allowed him reincarnation in the world of his choice including anime worlds with two chances at power roulette. 

henry without hesitation chose naruto world as his next world because simply the anime was his favorite. he had very little time to watch anime so he only had some knowledge about the story though . 

after two times spinning the lottery, henry got two powers- 

1. quest and reward system 
2. more more fruit as bloodline limit 

henry was too happy with these powers especially more more fruit bloodline because he knew about the fruit from one piece movie and he was told that he would have no water weakness. 

ren wanted to ask many questions like timeline, clan etc but before he open his mouth , the old man god waved his hand and henry saw only darkness .

from then on read the story to find out about his new life and new adventures ..

1. About God-Devil World
* Chapters in Volume II - very hard to say now, but probably more compared to the Volume I. As the God-Devil World was cultivation novel, with the very wide world, though we have seen an only small portion of that world. (Just Aizhouma Universe)
* Timeline - MC will be in totally different timeline compared to the timeline of the God-Devil World took place. As they arrived probably a few thousand years earlier. Maybe two thousand or so... 
* Main reason is to obtain God-Devil System and build up the foundation for the Holy Niflheim Empire. Of course, compared to the original novel, we will see not only the Aizhouma Universe where the originals story took place but even the rest of the God-Devil Plane
* About Lucien and MC of the original novel, hard to say as they will meet far in the future if they would even meet, cause the Aizhouma Universe is just small universe in the God-Devil World in cannon and if Yue Zhong didn't obtain God-Devil System it is questionable if he would leave the Aizhouma Universe. I am saying this, cause when MC would obtain God-Devil System, they would leave the Aizhouma Universe...

2. Harem, again question about that...
I will only say yes, there would be more, but not in Volume II and maybe in Volume III, if the Volume III would be about the Tower of God, they yes and I already have one character in the head. 

Ha Yuri Zahard. (She is my favorite female character in the Tower of God). Beware of the fact, that the mine version Tower of God in this fic would be very very different compared to original as I would be changing countless things to match it with my world.

3. About gathering of an artifact that was created with Record of Akashic Records.
Basically, if he found some artifact that was created with usage of the Record from Akashic Records, he could use his occupation as Executor to obtain benefits from the Akashic Records.

4. God-Devil Plane could be considered as Mid-Grade to High-Grade Mortal Realm probably. Tokyo Ghoul world was a separate world that was closed dimensions from all others. That thing would be explained in the novel. Overall it is a weak plane, only advantage it has it is very huge, but the disadvantage is that their cultivation system is incomplete, they can't cultivate beyond some level.

5. If Lucien has children, will they inherit his connection to the Akashic Records? 
No. Lucien was lucky that he was chosen as Executor despite his low cultivation. Another thing is that every cultivator in the Akashic Multiverse who achieved Empyrean Realm has the ability to see his own record. Those on Akashic God has basic privileges of lowest-ranked Executor. For example, if Lucien was Akashic God, then his privileges as Executor would be almost the same as those that Administrator has.

6. Is Zelretch going to train Lucien so that he inherits the second true magic?
No, as Lucien is no Magus and he doesn't even have mana... You know, what is Zelretch doing is just for his amusement. Maybe if he meets Lucien he will teach him some things (how to do pranks), but no Second Magic. Also, realistically he can't be his master as he had not many things he could teach him. Lucien is neither vampire, magus, don't have blood energy...

This is not only a review of Lucia but a breakdown of why this story that you can find through Novelupdates works so well. I'd give this story a 5 star review any day for being so well thought out.

Lucia is the story of a princess who suddenly gains the memory of an alternate future of her whole lifetime at the age of twelve. From that moment onwards, she dreams of having a better future than that tragedy she saw and does a contractual marriage with a Duke named Hugo in return for basically... not being sold off for political reasons.

The premise sounds like it has been done a hundred times before, but only this story is the most well-executed among its type. She doesn't gain these memories for no particular reason, her husband IS NOT madly in love with her from the get-go, and she has an endearing personality that doesn't come off as air-headed or naive.

The last part is what stands out in this story because despite its fairy tale vibes, there is a lot of realism added that makes it not just an erotic romance where the ML (Male Lead) is every woman's wet dream. Even though he kinda is...

The Duke she marries, Hugo, is an unapologetically bloodthirsty individual who kills people on a regular basis, and he does it without even blinking. The only reason Lucia even marries him was because she had little understanding of what marriage is like outside the abusive one she had in that alternate timeline and thought he looked cute.

There's no template main character vibes given from her as she is not from our reality and this is NOT an Isekai. She is an isolated princess who doesn't suddenly know everything because she lived gained future memories, but is flat-out what she is supposed to be: An former princess and abused Duchess who was sent back in time.

Her alternate timeline memories doesn't empower her but gives her a reality check, and although marrying a guy for his face and status sounds typical on paper, to the point even the Duke she marries thought she was shallow individual, it only added to the realism to the story as even a pure-hearted girl would desire things like a normal girl.

It's played as a joke at first, but the 'contractual marriage' actually becomes quite tragic once her husband gets to know her viewpoint and realised that he had taken what happened then too lightly.

As she does not know a marriage where she is given equal human rights, it becomes a reason why she sometimes acted 'dense' towards his feelings even though they were already sleeping together after marriage. It have a specific take on love...

My biggest praise for this story is that, even though it had the elements of an action story with the Duke being a superhuman badass, the story didn't stray from being a 'romance', choosing to be what it was intended to be without deviations.

One of the biggest pitfalls in these kind of stories set in an medieval world with princesses and nobility is adding cosmic retribution to people who do good actions or glorifying every good thing the main characters ever do. This was very refreshing.

Even though the FL (Female Lead) was a kind individual, the novel goes out of its way to show that the astuteness and wit she gained from seeing that alternate timeline is the reason she doesn't get taken advantage of by fellow noblewoman.

All the good things she embodies, strengths as well as weaknesses, are contrasted well with the Hugo., the ML. Even though she doesn't kill people, the weaknesses that come with her bubbly personality aren't taken for granted whatsoever.

It's to the point that if she wasn't changed after learning of her alternate timeline, she would have went through the same things as the version of her in that future (like falling for a conman of a knight who took her money and ran as well as being used by her long lost family members to pay off loans). I almost feel like this kind of novel was what I was waiting for, as it NEVER rewards ignorant kindness.

Even Lucia's personal doctor becomes a good example of that as her pure intentions are taken advantage of without her even knowing. That character seemingly a reflection of what Lucia would have been like without her new memories.

The Duke she married also doesn't get his just desserts at the end of the story, only going through his own Retribution Arc before being able to fight the bloodlust (and regular, animalistic lust) that was passed onto him by his special bloodline.

His character arc goes from a self-centred guy who is only superficially desirable to a man willing to beat down his own arrogance for the sake of his wife. It's a heartwarming transformation since he had always shown that it wasn't anything like those stories where abusers are suddenly changed just because he met the 'right woman'. He had good aspects hidden within his character the more Lucia got to know him, and she only brought them out.

It was the same with him, as the longer they spent together allowed him to gain a better understanding of Lucia and made her a lot grow into a woman who acted like a doll for her husband.

It was thanks to him that she could open up and express herself more over time. Thus, the story had a two-way/give-and-take relationship where he gave her confidence and she gave him understanding over the emotions he couldn't comprehend before. The other characters in the story being relevant enough to progress their relationship faster than if they were on their own.

It has a clear beginning, middle, and end that don't seem so disconnected with each other. The story also ends properly without dragging on for a hundred chapters of nothing happening (though there aren't any national level incidents each story arc and the worst thing that happened was a noblewoman going on a killing spree to mess up Lucia's reputation. No physical harm done to her).

They even have a daughter in the end of the novel's main story, and although they don't change the world to become a better place (which is an unrealistic expectation), they are able to change each other, which is more than enough for me.

There are a lot of authors that bite off more than they can chew, which this novel doesn't do. This allowed the story to shine most as the romance it is rather than some novel with cosmic righteousness.

The grey area is a nice place to be~

This is a story I worked on ages ago that has been refined and edited by adding foreshadowing to events while also simplifying the power system better than before. This story can be considered a prequel to An Adventure Beyond Greatness as it takes place years prior to the events of that story.

Short Synopsis:
After retiring from the battlefield, my life became empty and lifeless. The regrets of my past haunt me in my sleep. Then a change occurred, a King from another world summoned me to fight for his kingdom, but I died even before I could give him my answer. Now, after a fake God allowed me to reincarnate (albeit imperfectly) with my memories intact, into a world filled with magic and swords.

Long Synopsis:
This is about a flawed protagonist who only knew to rely on others and not socialise who gets a second chance to change himself in order to live the life he aimed for in his past life. The narrator isn’t exactly trustworthy since it is purely in his bias perspective while other perspectives given by others fill in the blanks that he either leaves out or twists to suit the situation.

The story itself can be considered a parody of Isekai’s classic tropes which are given a sense of reality as time goes by. As there exists no ‘Demon Lord’, there is also no black and white, only characters opinions and counter-opinions throughout the story.

Mo Bei woke up early in the morning. Immediately he shoved away the thin silk blanket and got up neatly. He opened the window and found that the spring rain had stopped.The mix of fragrance of the earth, trees and wild flowers greeted him.

He started thinking about the Gu World from what he had read in the novel. 

"A river of time exists in this world. It supports the world's time flow and circulation."

"Humans are the greatest among thousands of creatures, Gu are the essence of heaven and earth."

"Gu comes in thousands of shapes and sizes of strange and mysterious variety – there are too many to count. Some Gu after being used once or even twice or thrice will completely dissipate. And some Gu can be reused again and again as long as it is not used over its limits."

"The most important thing is cultivation. The me right now has not even opened my Primeval Sea, hasn't stepped on the path to be a Gu Master. I'm just a mortal! I have to hurry and cultivate, and seize the opportunities with the best advantage from what I have read about in the novel."

He had to increase the level of his foundation as fast as possible. If he were slow, then figures like Fang Yuan would easily make use of him and after taking advantage of him, discard him. This would only lead to his death. He had to become strong enough to survive this cruel world. 

He suddenly remembered a quote from the novel "The strong eat the weak, survival of the fittest; these have always been the rules of this world.  Everyone has self-ambitions, always struggling to grasp the opportunities. Among all the war and killing what is there not to be understood?"

"I wonder if the Fang Yuan right now is the one reborn using Spring autumn cicada after 500 years of his life or is it his 1st life?"

"My belief is that he has reborn after 500 years since there is no alternate timeline in the Gu World and only 1 timeline exist at a time. "

"Then where was I in the previous timeline? Is this Heaven's will plot to bring Fang Yuan under control by using me, an otherworldly demon and I only exist in this timeline? "

"What should I do when I meet Fang Yuan? Do I prostrate in front of him to not kill me? No, if I did that, he will definitely kill me. "

"Look guys, those are the Fang brothers." His ears picked up the small cautious talk from one of the group. "The one walking in front is Fang Yuan, he's the Fang Yuan who created the poems," some of them emphasized. 

His body instantly went numb at the mention of Fang Yuan. He was really going to meet Fang Yuan in person. 

He was both very excited and fearful. If someday you are given a choice of meeting a person of your dreams - your role model, whom you could never even dream to meet, how would you feel? This was exact feeling Mo Bei had at the moment. 

"Would he kill me if I turn my face towards him? No, I am Mo Bei right now and a righteous member of Gu Yue clan. Fang Yuan wouldn't dare to kill me in the centre of Gu Yue clan. Also, there's no one here who understands him better than me. What am I even thinking?! "

Suddenly another thought came to his mind. This was a sentence said by Fang Yuan in 3rd chapter of the novel "If someone tries to prevent this pursuit of his, no matter who it is he will kill and live through it. The aspirations in his heart were too big, stepping onto this road was to be making the world your enemy, and it was destined to be alone, destined to kill."

'I will never go against this person.' Thinking so, Mo Bei turned his face around with the highest possible determination.

MC who has read RI completely using translated and MTL chapters, and continuously reads RI for about a 100th time suddenly reincarnates into the world of RI in the character of Mo Bei. He tries to figure out the path to survival using his profound understanding of the world of RI. 

He is a truly hardcore fan of RI and hence remembers even the minute details in each of the 6 books. He plans to use this advantage to secure his survival without affecting the flow of history in the novel. 

Follow Mo Bei in his journey to figure out the truths behind the Transmigration of Otherworldly Demons, and his eventual(?) return back to Earth.

I know it's not cool of me to come back to say I will rewrite my novel, but after all the research I did, I can't for the love of me continue the aberration that I'm currently writing.

Rule number one for every novelist: "Show, don't tell!", is a rule that I completely butchered, by boring you out of your mind with the legendary info dump, which I mixed with a heavy dose of my protagonist thoughts, which gave nothing to the plot, nor his character development.

Worst of all, there are no real conflicts in my story: My MC is so 'perfect' and 'knowledgeable' that it's completely boring. I wrote the story as someone who writes a typical wish fulfillment, with everything going in the way of the MC. 

Furthermore, having every woman part of the MC's harem is good and all (It's every man's dream), but it kills the story! Why? I will explain with those 2 situations

1)They are wronged, and the MC kills everyone with his so-called revenge. Revenge is an extremely good concept to write, but multiple it by x100 (100 women's harem), and the MC will appear as a prick. And too much 'romance' kill the story, if the mc has to protect them each time, or kill everyone out of revenge. 

2)They are MC's waifu, so nobody can touch them (Nearly what I was going to do, and it's BORING! But we write it because it's so cliche to have the girls of the MC wronged and him going on a revenge journey. I'm not even going to talk about how it is impossible to write such a thing while developing their relationships. I appreciate big harems novels, but my goal is to better myself to write my own novel, and it's clearly not doing that that I will progress the way I want)

And finally, MC power is... is a complete hax! Just some drops of blood can give him power, it's completely rubbish! Not even speaking of the hyper intuition that I gave him out of nowhere because I thought it was cool...

My first novel with my protagonist as a slime would have been far more entertaining if I continued it, with the mc having to gobble up someone to take their power.

So, I now hesitate to restart my novel with a slime mc in Minato's timeline, or creating a new one in Madara and Hashirama timeline. Like in the commentary section and I will work on it!

And don't worry, I will not abandon you dear readers, after all, if I don't train my writing I will always be a mediocre writer :)
