In close combat, I would probably lose as the Gryphon was stronger, faster, and had more stamina than me. Fortunately for me, it's intelligence was pretty low, so I decided to sneak attack and used my Ice Magic and chanted a pretty long spell.

As soon as those following lines came to my mind. I see meteors in the skies.
"Oh shit. This can't be really happening right now." One of that said meteor is heading in this place.
I need to get away fast in this place, things will be extremely dangerous now.

A few meters from my location, something huge fell. Though it doesn't cause any damage or explosion like any normal meteor. Since in the first place it's not a meteor. It only causes a small crater with smokes and specks of dust. No one got hit by it, thankfully.
 When the smokes clear, something terrifying is going to come out from there. Cause, you see like I said those meteors aren't actually meteors but are huge eggs.
Inside it are some monsters that are going to destroy things and slaughter anyone on its path. So well that's it.
I'm so gonna run for my life now as a normal person would do.
Ah. Shit! I forgot no one could run from them since the whole city has some barrier covering it now.
"Rawr!" The smoke clears and a terrifying roar reverberated and heard in the whole city. It sends shivers all over my body and the people around me.
That single roar was followed with other roars.
Voila! There it is! From the broken huge eggshell, is a huge dragon! It is as big as a thirty-story building with red scales and three horns.

The people around are now panicking. Some even run away though it's futile. Like I said this whole city has a barrier now.
This place, no the whole city will be swarming by these creatures all over the places soon.

He didn't want much besides a decent life so he tried to stay near the protagonist of the novel. Not a bad idea besides the fact he had set up every good flag to the point it seemed like a dream. Now it's his second turn how will he do different this time? We will find out.

Where Yamato resided it was a pleasant place before the monsters would come out to ravage the night. The place was decorated with trees standing no more than 15 feet tall and a small river that shined more brightly in the sunlight than a polish sapphire. The air fresh full of life as if giving the presence of mother nature itself.
"Mind map," Yamato said in his head

Yamato after some time arrived at Evergreen. The town had a comfy vibe, but the exterior was bland no doubt. By the looks, it housed 20-40 people at most, although there were more elders than young.
"Hey who's that his clothes are dingy and dirty. Maybe a war refugee or perhaps a lost child?" 
"Who knows but his face is a gem among rocks"
"Ah at this point is it my face or charm skill that causes this and why do they think I can't hear them. Well, hopefully, it won't bring trouble as it has always done."
Although Yamato never cared for his looks in his original world, he was quite a looker if he wanted to believe it or not. Though during his first time in this world he learned to use his looks to his advantage. The best way to describe his looks would be he is a black dragon. Rugged features and black rough hair. Yet a hint of elegance and his eyes that would capture the heart of anyone if needed.
"Alright I should find the adventure's guild here...WAIT! I forgot this village doesn't get an adventure's guild till later on. Damn, I need to get my priorities straight. I need to find Alex in this world to survive and live peacefully, but those damn gods that sent me here what are they after. I could barely figure that out in the first round I don't even know what my status means with the phrase," The Game" dammit too many questions I need to know!

Imagine having a good life not asking for more and blessed with a few goods qualities. Sounds great until you die by a couch that fell off a truck/car causing you to die. You then decided to stick close to the Protagonist in the novel to have a decent and normal life. All ends well, especially after you finish off the demon king with the protagonist that is until you accidentally set off a romance flag with the main heroine and end up dead. Follow Vince's second life after all of that shit.
