How do I start?  My name is Shiro Osborne. I'm your average half Japanese and half English kind of guy. Like many other Japanese boys I delve into the fantasy of what's called anime,manga and video games. 
 
My addiction for this started at the simple age of 10 where I spent the next 3 years reading and non-stop playing video games and manga. I somewhat became an otaku but not the average stereotype . I was fairly handsome and kept myself in shape though I never found an interest in girlfriends because none of them are interesting enough.

Due to my love life being pretty empty (virgin) I had plenty of time to deepen my knowledge into understanding games and their programmed. 
My parents... were not proud of what I was doing. In their eyes all they saw was a failure of a a son lowering his grades and his life choices for the simple reason of escaping reality. 

That was the problem. All parents think escaping into the world of fiction is a bad thing. Children who get bullied want to escape. Abused children want to escape. Teenagers who go through heavy depression want to escape. Them clinging onto the final string of imagination. To keep them somewhat alive! Is that really a bad thing? What are books for if I can't use them to escape into a reality where the burdens of mankind aren't there. Numbers and test. Scores and judgement for you race. These are the things people want to escape from.

The same goes for video games. Why do u think people play non-stop. Is it to satisfy their curiosity. No. Is it to play with their friends.  Some of them . It's because they want to be the hero. No one is the same but everyone lives the same lifestyle. Live sleep eat work die. That's it. There is nothing special about them to make them feel unique. So when your kids are  playing their games it's pretty  much  them trying to create their own story with their friends and to become the heroes of that simple game.

That simple game which make them fell special. That simple game that make them forget their burdens and worries. That simple games which makes them feel they are worth more than a mortal. So tell me Is it just a game?

I’m an average guy. A weeb and 24-gamer non-stop.

HARRY'S POV

After the negotiations with the Professor concluded, both of them made sure they understand their next step, Harry left the Professor's office back to the ROR.
Thinking he had a moment of peace as he walked into the room, Harry sighed in contentment.
Gaining the Professor's help would be instrumental for Harry's future plans.
You see, whether he likes it or not, to make the world survive after the next 10 years, Harry would have to make sure no wizard is being exposed to the mundane world, as no matter who wins the war between the regular people and magical people (magical, it will be magical), the world would be destroyed.
To make sure the magical people doesn't get exposed, Harry would have to replace wands with magical technology.
Wands, most of which are about 10 inch, are vary conspicuous when held, not to mention that whether it's the wands movements or the shouting of magical spells, non of them is the most secretive way of casting spells.
Instead of using them, if a small cellphone, like the one in the fan fiction in his head, was made, and wand movements be translated to numbers people dial, with only silent casting, or, for those that don't know that, put the phone on your head to make sure look like you talk to someone, as long as it isn't an obvious no one would know something was cast.
Other then that, they would also have to make sure TV, computer, and gaming is ahead of its time to make sure the biggest threat for the magical world's secrecy isn't happening- the muggleborns leaving it.
With technology advancing as it does, the comforts that made the magical world desirable enough for the muggleborns to stay in it even with the discrimination are becoming less and less important, making it so that children who grow in the normal world right now are less likely to become enthrall with magic, not enough to leave behind the comforts of technology completely, and if after staying in Hogwarts for 7 years they return to the non-magical world, without any normal education they would have to use magic to get the money and comforts it offers, making it much more likely for magic to be found out about.
If, on the other hand, the comforts of the magical world keeps eclipsing the mundane world, the muggleborns would have much harder time to be able to leave it.
In addition, using entertainment to pass forward subliminal massages, whether it's simple ones like 'buy more products' and 'play more' or more important ones like 'all of us are human beings' or, much more to Harry's taste- 'Don't try to rule the world." Harry felt it's the best way to move forward to the future as if someone not as crazy or not as idiotic as Voldemort tries to use magic to rule the world, they would succeed, and with messages like that being broadcast to people's subconscious for their entire life, Harry wouldn't have to fear the magical destruction of the world and make the world a better place.
Some might call it brainwashing and unethical, but when you give every 11 years old children a weapon that can be used to destroy the world, and had at least two of them in 30 years raise to a stage where one co-started world war 2 and the other almost took over a country, brainwashing those children to become gaming geeks and unambitious isn't the worst thing.
As for honor? Can you eat it?
No, Harry will rule the magical world from the shadows, if only to save the world.
In regard to tv creation, Harry let the Weasley work on it, leaving the creation of the first magical video game- video card dueling for Harry. 
What he needed the Professor's help with is convincing the Pure-Bloods to use the products also, as if those products are known as Weasley's or muggle, they won't become in use.
No, Harry has a plan.
First is making every Death Eater and associates card duel as much as possible by making it Voldemort's order.
With the addictive properties of it, plus the craziness they get from the dark mark and, for some of them, Azkaban, they will become the greatest addicts, making it much easier for Snape to convince them when they drain their magic to play the video game that will make them better in it much easier.
In addition to that, by making the Professors in Hogwarts support magical technology, Harry will make it possible to bring tv into Hogwarts, making it something every student use.
In the end, making the magical world more passive then it already is will become reality, maybe one day, as to not let every magical person suffer create personal virtual worlds, where every magical person would live in for a while and pour their ambitions into, making it into a test of sorts, and only those who pass it and show they have brain, mind and morals can leave, the others will stay inside a virtual world together, living their life unknowing it isn't real, thus protecting the world from destruction.
Considering Harry made peace with the fact the world he is in probably isn't real, he can't see a real problem with others doing the same.
After all, Harry loved the world, and he is unwilling to leave it for the destruction of the people.
As for the mundane world, after finishing the magical world he will do mostly the same with it, only changes will be to test morals, as non-magical people don't carry weapons on them all the time, and as long as they are god people, they won't use them unless in having no other option.
He will make sure the world becomes utopia, even if it means becoming a villain.

Fridays were always Chanella's favorite day of the week, she spent the first half of her day editing articles after she'd finished her own. When three pm struck she left work to go meet Eliza and Chance at lunatic moon to talk about the couple's pregnancy attempts, new book ideas and local author meetings Eliza had been invited to speak at, before heading off to the college to teach computer programming in the late afternoon. 
It was currently 11AMam and Chanella was sitting at her desk, proof reading an article on the increase of people committing tax evasion in Saroko Bay, when her 28-year-old co-worker, Dylan Bronxky, stopped by her desk for the third time within the last hour. "Do you have the information on the killings? The local cleaner or whatever he's called?" Chanella swiveled around in her chair, rolling her head in the process to face Dylan, who admittedly was her competition for the new front-page slot. "You know the paper has been momentarily banned from producing a story about that killer after what happened last print". Her voice was flat as she recalled the unfortunate events that had occurred. Dylan may have been a good writer, but his biggest flaw was that he didn't put enough effort into investigating and confirming his information before sending his stories to print, this had led to a well-known lawyer's divorce and the ambush attack on a high school teacher who he'd off handily compared to 'the local cleaner'. "Danielle has been saying since day one, if a story is worth chasing, chase it and we both know it's worth it. That's why I'll get the frontpage slot and you won't." 
Danielle was the publisher of the newspaper, who also happened to be Dylan's new girlfriend, so if he got the slot, she doubted it would be due to his writing ability or even his contribution to the paper. 
Chanella rolled her eyes as Dylan walked away with long confident strides that made him look boarder line egotistical. Unlike Dylan, Chanella didn't have a room near the breakroom, but rather a small cubical next to an astray coffee machine, which she didn't mind as most days' coffee was all she consumed for sustenance. 
Looking back to the screen in slight frustration, Chanella started typing away rapidly. She was irritated that Dylan was still going through with the story, knowing Danielle will in fact give him the front-page slot, even if he got the paper in trouble again because 'any publicity, is good publicity'. That belief is one of the many reasons Chanella and Danielle didn't get along, the only reason Chanella still had a job there was because her articles had sky rocketed the paper's sales, and whoever was higher up the food chain than Danielle knew that, but that didn't stop her from trying to say Chanella was 'over qualified' for her position at almost every board meeting. 
"Keep frowning like that and you'll look like that permanently." A female voice said from behind her, followed by a sly giggle and a high-pitched snort. Chanella looked to her left where the coffee machine was stationed, a tall woman with vibrant dyed pink hair and harry potter styled reading glasses stood next to a shorter woman with black hair cut into a pixie bob, blue eyes and adorable freckles. 
"I'm sure a permanent frown would still be an improvement, instead of looking tired I'd look badass or angry", Chanella jollily fired back to the two girls. "How's your stories going by the way? You still writing the story on the corrupted lawyer scandal Sarah?" Chanella asked the pink haired beauty, curiosity peaking at her story idea. It wasn't a secret that Sarah loved digging up dirt on high profile people of the community, once publishing a story on a member of parliament that had over thirty-three overdue speeding tickets and an invalid driver's license, the head line was 'would you elect someone who believes they're above the law?'.  The shorter woman, Julie-Ann, was known around the paper for sports reports and gambling-help articles. The pair were inseparable, and many had suspected they were dating, but those rumor's were tarnished when Sarah started dating Steven from the copying and printing department. 
"You and everyone else knows that I would never let a story of corruption and scandal slip past me, If I don't remove the vail of lies covering the infamous, who will?" Sarah raised a perfectly sculpted eyebrow and placed a black manicured nail on Chanella's nose.  Sarah had a flare for the theatrics, she was a theatre major before working here, "ooh, so you're a vigilante behind a computer?" Chanella raised a bushier eyebrow, Julie-Ann bent over giggling. 
Sarah turned and smiled at Julie-Ann's doubled over form, before turning back to Chanella. "yeah, according to the local clean up quiz, I'm the local cleaner", Sarah laughed. Chanella felt her smile drop slightly as she bit the inside of her cheeks, Chanella was never one to be comfortable talking about the local cleaner. Julie-Ann must have noticed the change in Chanella's posture because she was fast to change the subject, "Are you coming to the dinner tonight? It would be good to see you there". Julie-Ann was talking about the monthly dinner the paper organizes with the intention of familiarizing everyone at the paper and in hopes that all the workers will share information and sources. When all it really does is allow workers to drink for free. 
"I'm teaching tonight actually, sorry. Next month is on Saturday night? I can do Saturdays" Chanella made a slight turn in her chair, so she was facing the pair face on. Both girls had small frowns on their faces but didn't comment. They both knew equally well that she wouldn't ditch teaching, no matter how much they asked. Chanella enjoyed teaching coding and programming, almost as much as she liked a good cup of coffee in the morning, she viewed it as a hobby rather than a paying job. 
Sarah and Julie-Ann smiled at Chanella and made plans to sit together at the work dinner the following month. Chanella read the time shown on her computer monitor, and starter packing up. It was ten past three PM, meaning it was time to lock up her computer and leave for lunatic moon. And knowing Dylan liked to scope out her computer, Chanella had started using her personal laptop, while also using different passwords daily, unlike one of their co-workers, Craig, who used the actual word 'Password' to unlock his work computer, it's no wonder he and Lex, his cubical mate, always pitched the same ideas at board meetings. 
Loading her laptop into her handbag, she sets off to her car, and then to lunatic moon to meet the overly happily couple. 
Getting into her car, she set it in drive after texting Eliza, notifying her she was on her way. The drive over to lunatic moon was calming, as Chanella blasted music, murder song by aurora started playing. She started belting out the words without consideration for key or pitch, "5, 4, 3, 2, 1. He holds the gun, against my head!" This was always one of her favorite songs, and it demanded her to sing, or attempt to at least. 
Turning into the lunatic moon car park, she turned the music off while pulling into her usual spot. Twisting the key in the ignition, she turned the car off. 
Chanella got out of her purple jeep and made her way across the parking lot and into the coffee bar. Opening the door, a bell chimed above her head, as her eyes scanned the crowd before landing on Eliza and Chance sitting at their regular table in the far corner, with a window facing the court house. She lined up to get a white chocolate mocha and an apple and cinnamon swirl. 
Nelanne was behind the counter already preparing her mocha and putting her swirl into a brown paper take away bag before Chanella even got to the front of the line.  Nelanne was recently nineteen and living alone, she had moved to Saroko Bay when her long-term boyfriend married the lady he was cheating on her with, after impregnating her. Nelanne Casper had moved to live with family at sixteen before Eliza and Chance gave her a job, not long after that she decided she wanted to live on her own. 
Chanella smiled at Nelanne and handed her a $20 note, the extra was for her 'slush fund' as Chanella said, it had become a habit since the first week Nelanne worked there. Nelanne smiled back and went onto the next customer, "Chanella, hurry that butt up", a voice called from the corner of the room near the wooden stage set up with a microphone and bar stool for when the live bands and solo artists came in to entertain. Instantly a familiar sense of euphoria washed over her, a smile broke out onto her face as she walked as quickly as possible without sprinting and spilling her mocha. While Chanella made an effort to refrain herself and her excitement, Eliza did no such thing, as she came hurdling towards her, weaving through tables and people alike. Once Eliza was in reaching distance, she lunged at Chanella, wrapping her small arms around her, almost knocking the delicious cup of coffee out of her hands but thankfully Chanella was expecting the small outburst of affection. Although a small amount of the liquid goodness landed on her hand, where a small red mark was starting to form. 
"Coffee, coffee, I have hot coffee." Chanella chanted in hopes Eliza would release her, but all she did was hug tighter as an evil giggle rang out through her chest. Once Eliza let go of her, Chanella not so graciously licked the cooled coffee off her right hand, leaving what looked like a pink lipstick stain in its place. Eliza grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the table in the corner where her husband sat smiling in amusement, not having moved an inch during the whole fiasco. 
Nearing the table, Chance got up to hug Chanella and kiss his energetic wife. Seeing the pair always made Chanella wish for a family, a husband and children, she shook her head in hopes of physically shaking the thoughts from her brain. 
"A celebration is in order I believe", Chance spoke in pride while raising a coffee mug filled with a questionable liquid. Chanella furrowed her eyebrows in question, "Celebration? For what?" A squeal was her immediate answer, "Well for one, I'm sure the first page slot will be yours after next print comes out, and secondly, I've found a new publisher!" Chanella ignored the first half of Eliza's statement, tired of continuously explaining how and why she won't get the slot, "What happened to your old publisher? He did the job well enough." Last Chanella heard, Eliza loved her publisher, he was an older man who reminded her of her father, and it was the basis of Eliza's and his work relationship, he was her mentor and he was well known for his experience with fiction novels. "He did, but I wanted to try and make some non-fiction for a while", Eliza looked in her husband's direction for a brief moment of reassurance before continuing. 
"There may be a smaller market for non-fiction, but I'd love to branch out and do some novels about crime survivors and their experiences." Chanella knew Eliza would be better suited to this type of writing as it's what she enjoyed doing. She never got as excited writing fictional stories as she did when she wrote non-fiction. "And your new publisher is more experienced with non-fiction?" Eliza just nodded her head up and down rapidly, making her closely resemble a bobble head doll. Taking a bite from her almost forgotten swirl and a sip from her cooling mocha, Chanella replied, "okay, sounds like a good idea then." Once again, Chanella was met with a high pitch squealing and a tight hug. 
The three continued to talk, and in not too long it was time for Chanella to leave for her lecture. Saying good bye and quickly purchasing another coffee for the drive, she walked outside to the car park, making her way to her jeep. Looking back at the couple, she saw them smiling and laughing away in their own little world, she smiled as her eyes wondered over to the court house, where James Banx was walking down the court steps. He was leaving as a free man, and she knew it from the look on his face. One of his alleged victim's parents were standing by the double glass doors, crying as they watch the man who raped and killed their son walk away without charge. Another killer was wrongfully being released back into society without consequence for their actions. Chanella's smile doubled in size, making her look like a mad woman, for she knew James Banx would be the local cleaners next target.

Now only one thing remained to be done, the knife was in her hand in seconds, the need to sign her work was overpowering. Within a few hours Chanella was home, showered and feeling proud of herself, while James hung, like criminals used to be, a beautiful, red C clearly visible on his naked chest, after all, who leaves someone a present without signing the card. That’s just poor manners. 

criminals have been slipping between the governments finger tips for far too long, Chanella Foreska decided her town needed someone to clean the streets like the police should. The local cleaner was a vigilante that was well known and talked about, they were someone that caught the people that never paid the price for the unjust actions they committed.  Zane-Ashburn made it back to the house but decided not to go in. Mother would ask too many questions and he couldn't explain if he didn't even know what he saw. He turned and walked down the street that led to town. He didn't like being around lots of people, but the Library required its sacrifices. He walked through the old wooden doorway and he was greeted with the smell of old books and the sound of silence. He calmed down a bit and soon felt as relaxed as he could for someone who had just been turned into a goose. 
"Hello, Zane," The librarian said as he walked through the door  
"Greetings, Miss Iris," Zane-Ashburn said with a little wave.  
"What brings you here?  
"Just the usual. Looking for something to read. Do you happen to know anything good about codes and mysteries?"  
"I do. I think you might enjoy Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle. It's in fiction, something I know you don't usually like to read but, it's quite like a guide to solving mysteries. But you can always look in the non-fiction for some information on codes  
"Sure, thanks. I'll take a look," He said. Miss Iris was his favorite person, despite not liking people in general She was helpful and gave him interesting book suggestions. He stared at her soft features and curly brown hair that was tied half up in a messy bun. Her creamy brown skin was flawless and added to her beauty. Her face is so interesting to look at, Zane-Ashburn thought as he walked away. First, he went to the fiction. Here, he felt out of his comfort zone. He didn't like magic and strange phenomena, and he didn't particularly find the stories to be informative or helpful, so he stuck to non-fiction. Nevertheless, He trusted Miss Iris so he thought he should try it out. He scanned the shelves of books with authors whose last names began with D and soon found what he was looking for. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. He picked it up and inspected the blue hard-back cover with shiny gold writing. He turned it over and read the back: 
"My name is Sherlock Holmes. It is my business to know what other people don't know."  
Interesting. Zane-Ashburn thought and continued reading.

Zane-Ashburn finished reading and everything stopped. He analyzed the words in his head, and one could say that his curiosity was piqued. He took the book and went straight to his favorite spot in the library. There was a large leather chair in front of a brick fireplace. It was cozy and his small body could curl up and read for hours. He read the first words and was soon absorbed in the greatness that is fiction. Zane-Ashburn was so involved in reading that he didn't realize that the sun had started to go down. In that time, he had finished reading The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and, much to his dismay, the next book was checked out of the library so he wandered over to the non-fiction section and found a couple books on bird calls and their meanings. He had a very good memory. It wasn't as good as Sherlock's, but it was still good. If a memory was old enough, he had to search for it. He had found that Sherlock Holmes had to do the same thing. His "mind palace," as he called it. Zane-Ashburn memorized the meanings of the bird calls, but he had difficulty hearing the calls in his head. He needed to investigate further. But that meant playing more games. And that meant possibly getting eaten by Margarie. He didn't want that to happen, but his curiosity was endless. He supposed he would just have to learn to survive the games. His train of thought stopped suddenly. Hold on… how do these games even work? How in the world was I turned into a goose? What other games are played? What do they do? He thought. He searched his mind for an answer and a thought came to him. He ran to another section he never went into, the children's section. He just started looking when suddenly, there was a loud yell.  
"AAASSSSHHH" It was the voice of Gill. Zane-Ashburn sighed and looked over the railing towards the entrance where Anabelle and Gill stood. His brother waved and Zane-Ashburn scowled at him and made a shushing gesture. He made his way down the stairs and out the doors, not waiting for his siblings.  
"Ash-"   
"Processing."  
"What?"  
"I'm still processing."  
Gill looked down. "Oh."   
His older brother reacted differently to the games than he expected. He, for one, actually enjoyed them. He was quick and rarely ever got hurt. He didn't appreciate it when Margarie ate Garrith, though. Maybe tomorrow will be different. He agreed with the group that they should play something more toned down tomorrow. Something like wax museum or mafia where they didn't run around in terror. That is, if Zane-Ashburn decided to come again. Gill knew his brother well. He knew that curiosity got the best of him, so he was likely to come outside again. They walked home the rest of the way in silence.  
The next morning, Zane-Ashburn didn't wake up to his normal alarm of Anabelle. He got out of bed and looked around the small room. Both their beds were empty. He walked out into the kitchen It was silent.   
"Mom?" he called. No answer. He found a note on the small wooden table. It read, "Zane, I have gone into town for the day and your siblings are outside. – Mother"  
Zane-Ashburn quickly got dressed and walked outside. He walked through the woods, remembering the path he had walked yesterday. He eventually stumbled out on the soft green grass where the sun shone through a hole in the canopy. Gill and Anabelle were sitting on the grass, counting in sync. Gill opened his eyes and grinned his reckless grin.  
"I told you he'd come," He said, stopping the counting. Anabelle's eyes opened and she looked up.   
"Hello," she said happily with a smile. "We're playing Hide and seek!" Her voice became quiet and her eyes went wide.   
  "Watch me seek," She stood up and her hands rose to her mouth to let out a loud bird call.   
  "Chicka-dee-dee-dee-dee-dee." Zane-Ashburn recognized it as the chickadees' danger call. It basically meant that something was hunting them down. Suddenly, large foxlike ears grew out of Anabelle's skull and a small amount of blood dripped down her blond hair. She grimaced but it was quickly covered with a grin of excitement.   
"Ready?" she asked Gill.  
Gill pulled out a pocket watch. "Go." 
 Anabelle sprinted off through the forest making yipping noises as she went out of sight.  
"What the-," Zane-Ashburn said, mystified. "Ears...?"  
"Yeah," Gill said. "They help you hear. You get massive headaches after the game though."  
Zane-Ashburn looked at him, concerned. "So, how do things like this happen? I'm pretty sure it's not normal for ears to grow out of your head or to turn into geese."  
"Honestly, I have no idea. I don't even remember when we started playing the games. They seem to only be magical if I'm around. Sometimes they go wrong though. Milly and Mia get the worst of it. Poor Mia still coughs up feathers from duck, duck, goose. That's why she didn't play yesterday. It's like... the games punish them for losing or something. They are bad at a lot of them. Now that I think about it, I should probably give them some pointers..."  
Suddenly, there was a loud scream that came from the woods behind them and a giant flock of birds flew up from the trees.  
"What was that?" Zane-Ashburn asked, worried.  
"Oh, that's probably just Margarie being dramatic again. She likes to disturb the forest animals. That's one of the reasons bears and things don't come after us. Anabelle must've found her." Moments later, Margarie came out of the woods, looking annoyed and holding her arm that had a 6-year-old bite mark on it that was bleeding.  
"The little savage bit me too hard this time," she grumbled under her breath. She tore a bit off her dress and wrapped the bite. "Well, that's the first time I have been out this quickly."  
Gill grinned, clearly proud of his little sister. "The only one who can get you out."  
She glared at him and sat down near a tree.   
"Now we wait," Gill said. One by one, more kids came out of the forest, starting with a slightly annoyed Tucson, who was closely followed by a fuming Phoenix. He hated losing. They also had bite marks somewhere on them. They weren't as bad as Margarie's, but they were still pronounced. A while later, Mira came out, her long hair had leaves in it as if she had hidden in a tree. She looked like she was about to cry as she tried to investigate the bite on her shoulder. Then she looked around.   
"I lasted this long?" her face broke out into a wide smile. "Wow, this is rare." She sat down a little way away from Gill and Zane-Ashburn, looking proud of herself. It was a long time before anyone else came out, but eventually, Arizona revealed himself, with a condescending smile. He looked over at his brothers, raised both arms in the air, and said, "I am superior!" Phoenix and Tucson rolled their eyes and laughed. Phoenix stood up and whacked Arizona upside the head, to which Ari gave a look of mock surprise before dragging him to where they were sitting. Mira had a look of realization and stood up suddenly. "Milly won!" she said in disbelief and soon after, Milieta and Anabelle walked out, both laughing. Anabelle's big ears had disappeared, and she looked tired from her senses being sharpened. Mira ran up to her sister and hugged her tightly. "You won! I'm so proud," she said happily.  
"And because you won," Gill said, looking at Milieta. "You get to choose the next game. So, what say ye?"  
Zane-Ashburn worried that Milieta's moment of pride might lead her to choose a… not so safe game. Nonetheless, he was going to play these games and figure out what was making these children turn into animals and such.  
"Well, there are so many options! Does anyone have ideas?" Milieta took her hands out of her huge sweatshirt. Everyone took a moment of contemplation.  
"How about Fox at Midnight?" The triplets chanted together. Their smiles growing like the Cheshire Cat's. They all huddled together with their fingers crossed, hoping that their vote might count for more since they were in 3's.  
Everyone's eyes lit up at the idea of this game. As per usual, Zane-Ashburn had no idea what this game entailed and so he opted out of voting.   
"All for Fox at Midnight, say aye!" Gill announced.  
"Aye!" cried the triplets, unsurprisingly.  
"Aye!" smiled Milieta and Mira.  
"Aye!" Margarie's eyes connected with Zane-Ashburn's as she grinned her evil grin.  
"Aye!" Annabelle's voice was the most recognizable. She sounded like a high-pitched, joyful fairy.   
"Zane-Ashburn?" Gill faced him, and everyone else followed suit.  
Zane-Ashburn froze. He had no idea what this game was and what the danger level could have been. Uneducated guessing had led to many bad choices in history. He wasn't about to join that monumentally stupid group.  
"C-Can someone describe it first?" he nervously stuttered, his awkward smile appearing. Milieta and Mira both giggled, as did Margarie, but of course Margarie's smile was in a completely different tone.   
"Fox at Midnight is like Red Light, Green Light, but instead, the person at the front is not a traffic cop, but a fox. The goal of everyone else is the touch the fox without them seeing you move. If they do see you, the prey, move, they deserve the right to punish you in a form of their choice, ranging from them letting you go to eating you. Margarie is barred from eating anyone," he shot a glare in her direction and she gave a toothy grin, "but, everyone else can choose their punishment. If you touch the fox, and they do not catch you, you become the fox and the new round starts. We play for as many people as we have. Not everyone will get a turn."  
Zane-Ashburn soaked in the information, knowing this was a terrible idea deep in his gut. Regardless, he said it: 
"Aye."  
"Let the games begin!"

What if children's games were real? What if, ashes ashes we all fell down?  What if when you were tagged, you really were IT? Any normal person might wonder why these games are played, or what they mean, eventually passing it off as "just a game", but, dear reader, whether you are a child or an adult, understand that these are not just games. They are the difference between life and death, inclusion, and exclusion, and most importantly, your ability to survive.
