This story is based on the amazing fighting fantasy book and game called Steve Jackson's sorcery. It will follow the story where it will take place in the same locations, but I will be adding my own characters and an unique storyline that will be different from the original. Hope you enjoy my story and I would like to recommend you check out the original game.

This is based on a fighting fantasy type story and will be written in 2nd person, as any other fighting fantasy story and I will try to make it 2 thousand word minimum per chapter. Got burned out after 10 chapter and decided to shorten them to 2.5K words per chapter by splitting some planned stuff into two chapter rather than one.

Olivia is a sweet girl about the age of 21 ,lost her parent's company , properties and all the assets by her parent's assistant so she wanted revenge but she didn't know one thing that the assistant works under Nick.
Nick he is the richest man in the country and a proud businessmen who is always cold and arrogant but he loves her from their childhood.
When everyone fears to go near him she will always call him Nick eat this eat that , play with me.
Let's see what will happen when they will meet again ?
Will she be able to love him again?
Will she be able to know the truth?

In this world everyone chases after Martial Ai or divine letters. The Martial Ai is use by almost everyone especially those in the military, the power rankings starts from soldier to God tier general and the divine letters are used by Nobles and scholars. All powerful weapons and armors have divine letters on them which makes it extremely sharp, indestructible and a lot more. They are like programming. 
John is now born to the King and Queen of one of the Kingdoms. The King has lost four children to the coming of age ceremony. This is where the crown prince or princess will have to take an enemy castle and keep it for a year. The king is determined to save his  last son. John is now 5 years old with the name Nick Aix. Nick thinks cultivation is a waste of his time since he has the talent for it. He also starts learning about the divine letters, strategies and political affairs. The most strangest thing is that he understands the divine letters better than his teachers. Many weapons and armors can have one ability since all the letters are so many to fit on them. 
Nick has been cultivating  and at the same time learning the divine letters for ten years. He already understood the divine letters but was researching and experimenting with them and the the process has created a lot of powerful weapons which he keeps saying it is weak. Nick has already been giving his army since he has a year to prepare for the coming of age ceremony. His cultivation is now at the King tier general which is impossible for someone his age so he is hiding it from everyone. 
The noble want a way to eliminate him through the coming of age ceremony so they gave him the weakest soldiers the could get. 
Nick visits a blacksmith to craft him the heaviest weapon that they can and an ordinary armor suit but want everything in the black colour. 
Nick wants to relax from all the work but his father says if he can complete the coming of age ceremony then he can do whatever he wants. 
The time is already up and Nick departed from the capital city with is army. 
The Queen asks the King if their son will make it back alive or not with tears in her eyes.

Two weeks passed, there was no discussion about Vick's leaving home. After that family situation takes 180-degree turn and becomes very worse. Arjun (Vick's father) never seen this type of situation in his family for the last 15 years. Even though Arjun is sad about elder son leaving the home, he sticks with his decision and during family dinner, he said that his decision is final. He wants his elder son to face reality in his young age, and to solve the problem alone to gain experience. Arjun believes and respects the elder words, so he decided to follow the family tradition very well.

Kaviya (Vick's mother) is very unhappy with her husband decision to send their elder son away from home. She doesn't want her son to experience this type of difficulty at his early age. She tried many possible ways to stop her son from leaving home, but everything failed. She offered to his husband that she will stay away from home instead of him. She even threated Arjun that she will leave home and will never come back to his family. She cried and stayed in her room for more than 3 days. Later Arjun informed about his decision to send Anna (Vick's personal maid) and John (Arjun personal bodyguard) with Vick, still, she is not convinced. Arjun Somehow convinced his wife Kaviya to accept his decision. He assured Vick's safety and well-being.

John is an elite soldier in Vick's family. He spends more than ten years in the special force. John serves as a caption of special force for more than five years and he has experience in handling all advanced army weapons. He handled many missions single-handedly, his specialty includes hostage rescue. During his VIP rescue mission, he got shot in hand. Even though his injury is fully healed, his senior office feared out his hand reaction speed, so they dropped him from the special force. He doesn't want to serve in other force so he left the army. John parents worked in Vick's family, Arjun takes care of his parents during his days in the military. Therefore John decided to work for Vick's family.

Anna is fifty years old, Vick's personal maid She is Vick's favorite person, Vick treats her like a mother. She is working in Vick's family for more than twenty-five years.

Vick's brother and sister are very sad about his brother going away from home for a long time. They can't do anything against his father. They even tried to convivence their grandparents to speak to his father, but nothing happened.

Vick is very positive and confident in himself, so he was not even bothered about leaving home. For the last 15 days, He was more concentrated in learning more about codes and started developing his own program. 

Only two weeks remaining to leave home, he started his preparation.

As a first step, he visited his school along with his father Arjun to get his mark sheets and transfer certificate. After getting his certificates, he visited every teacher's room and conveyed his farewell message. On his way home, he typed a message about transferring school and send it to the class group. Many of his classmates asked why are you transferring school? And where you are transferring to?. He didn't reply. 

He got a text message from his close friend Vishal.

Vishal: Have you decided which city you want to transfer?

Vick: Yes, tomorrow I will let you know after the discussion with my father.

Vishal: okay.

Vick already informed about his family tradition to Vishal. Vishal is very sad about his close school transferring school.

After reaching home, Arjun asked 'Vick have you decided which city you want to go? Tomorrow morning I want your answer'. 

Vick: Okay dad, I will let you know by tomorrow morning.

Arjun: Also, let me know whom you want from Team – 2?

Vick: okay dad.

Evening Vick spends some quality time with his mother and siblings. He is trying to make them happy for the past ten days but he didn't succeed. At least they didn't show their unhappiness in front of him.

Next day morning...…..
Vick went to his father office to discuss.

Arjun: Which city you want to go to?

Vick: City A.

Arjun: Why do you want to go to City A?

Vick: I went to many cities in our Country. City A has city life and also If we travel fifteen minutes its like countryside surrounded by nature. I like that type of place.

Arjun: Okay (said half-heartedly), I will enroll you in IND school in City A. My sectary will take care of the school transfer procedure, you don't have to worry about that. 
(IND school is the best school in City A)

Vick: Okay dad

Arjun: Who do you want from Team-2?

Vick: Nick, dad.

Arjun: okay. (He is not very surprised)

Vick is very close with Nick, Nick is like a brother to Vick. Nick is twenty-five year old, he was raised by Vick's parent from the age of ten. He is not good at studies, so he joined in self-defense class at the age of ten. He joined the army and worked for intelligence collection team. At the age of twenty, Nick left the army and joined Vick's family intelligence team. So Arjun was not surprised by his choice.

After meeting with his father, Vick went to his room. In the evening Nick came to Vick room.

Nick: Hello Young Master…..

Vick: Hi Nick, Don't call me as Young Master. Just call me Vick

Nick: (Nick ignored Vick words) I heard everything from Master. You want to go to City A? And the reason you said to Master, is it true?

Vick: yes Nick

Nick: Really? (Eye rolling)

Vick: ....(Vick mind voice - maybe to meet the beautiful girl in Nila restaurant)

Nick: .........(Speechless seeing Vick state)

Vick having trouble in sleeping after his return from Vishal home. Every night dream about a beautiful girl from Nila restaurant.

"The two mountains in front of us are the dorm mountains , which is to say the entire mountains consist of nothing but living areas." He paused for dramatic effect. "The right mountain is the entirely the male students dorm whereas the left mountain is the female students dorm the exception is only in the case of married couples."old sun briefly glance at the dragon princess. "On the mountains there are premade houses however if you want a more private place you can go to the residency hall in the middle of the mountains and claim a plot of unused land to build your own residence." He gestures. Old sun stops at the building between the two mountains." This is the residency hall where we will register all of your housing before we move on to discussion your classes."old sun says while walking towards the building. After entering the building the person at the front desk speaks up. "Alright good day grand elder sun, as for the rest of you I'll need your name, age and any housing preference you may have." He says Gruffly. Everyone went up and gave their information before it was nicks turn. "Name , nicholas varias , age 13 , preference a small plot of land isolated from everyone else."nick spoke calmly however the man doing the paperwork got stuck on his age '13 and a nascent soul realm!?'. Nick grew annoyed at the man's pause before clearing his throat jolting the man from his thoughts"right and you said your preference was what again?" The man said nervously. Nick sighed "I want a small plot of land as isolated as possible I'll build the house myself." Nick says smoothly. The man nods before looking through his records briefly "ah, here we go , there is a few that come close to what I'm assuming you want however only one that absolutely fulfills what you want however I must ask if you truly want it?" The man said while handing nick and image jade that shows the area in question. Its oddly enough a patch of swampland that I filled with some kind of fog. Nick is confused why this piece of land would need to be double checked before handed out to him. "Is there something about this land that I need to know about?" Nick asked curious. The man shivers before companion himself "that piece of land is where all the failed alchemy pills have been thrown for centuries as a result that area is filled with a poison fog that is made of thousands of different poisons from all the failed pills thus no one usually wants that piece of land so if you want to you can have the entire thing otherwise I have a few small pieces that may work." The man said while looking at nick seriously. All the other new students were also watching nick since they all saw his performance in the test. Nick smiled brightly "so if I accept that land i can have all of it and nobody else can step foot there without my day so?"he questions. The man is stunned for a second before replying "well technically it would be your area so if you kicked out visitors forcefully no one would be able to say anything yes." The man says confused. "Perfect I'll take it!"nick exclaims brightly. The man is shocked before filling out the paperwork and handing it to nick. "If you don't mind can you tell me why you want such a place?" The man asked before nick joins the crowd. Nick stops and looks at the man seriously "I seem to have horrible luck with women asking me to marry them and I don't want to have to deal with that in my home so that place is perfect to keep them away from my home at least." He says before turning and walking away calmly.

nick was an ordinary guy , no seriously he was almost boring how normal he was.
So one day nick was walking to the store to get him a soda when some drunk driver happened to look away from the wheel and crashed into poor nick,but we all know how this song and dance goes and he gets reincarnated into a fantasy world with cultivation and gods and monsters but the problem is nick only ever wanted to be normal and now he's the most unordinary person alive with a system hellbound to drag him to greatness , kicking and screaming if necessary.well that is until tragedy strikes making him want to become strong.

in an office there you would see a man and woman, the man sitting on a chair has frown on his face,

his bald head, his black skin, and his iconical eye patch, this man is Nick Fury the director of the SHIELD.

"agent Hill what do you think?" Nick ask the woman standing not far away from him.

"can take out an Elite squadron without even standing and with just wave his hand, this man is very dangerous" The woman is Maria Hill one of the agents of SHIELD and the most trusted personnel of Nick Fury but don't look down at this woman, this woman is a level 9 agent and one of the expected next director of SHIELD.

"yes, very dangerous" Nick fury said, they were discussing about a certain man that Agent Coulson talk about.

when Coulson explain the situation to Nick, Nick didn't react, Nick himself know that there are many bizzsre and unknown things in this world but what made him frown is the strength or the initial strength that the other party had is very strong, can take out an elite squadron with a wave of his hand and it is estimated that it is not his full strength. Also one that he was very iskeptical about is what the man said, anyone with a talent can be Mage.

"what do you think, Is what he said is real?"Fury ask.

"about the Mage thing, Im not sure about this as this is new to us" Hill reply, this is really new to them and they don't have any information about this kind of people.

"right, so what level should we put him" Nick Said.


"level 9 for now base on the strength he showed" Hill reply

he answer it and not waiting for him to talk the other party anxiously said"Lyr we need your help"

"hey calm down agent Coulson," Lyr said and when Coulson calm down he ask "so what's the situation that makes you so anxious?"

"Sigh, you saw the news right" Coulson said with a sigh.

"yes, so its about that billionaire playboy Tony Stark" Lyr answer and continue" so what about him?"

"the government ask us to help find Tony but we were already searching for 3 days and got nothing, the people kidnapped him are good at hiding" Coulson said with a tired voice"and Im the one in charge of finding him" Coulson continue.

, What is it with this shouting this early in the morning?" thought Novak while he was nearing the classroom. When he opened the door and entered inside he heard exited students talking in loud voices, not even noticing him as he was walking to his desk.
, Hey, did you buy a helmet yet?" - asked one student his friend.
, Of course, I saved money from my part-time job. I bought it yesterday, and you?"
, My parents bought it for me, for my birthday last week, I thought I was dreaming when they gave it to me. What do you think, do you want to play the game together with me?"
, Sure. We should invite more guys from the class to play together."
This was just one of the conversations in the classroom, all the students were talking about the same thing. , Age of Gods", these were the most used words in the classroom right now. 
Novak thought to himself and then remembered. , Oh yeah, how did I forget, Age of Gods" is being released tonight. I even bought a helmet a couple days ago. I waited ten years for it, finally, it's here."
, Age of Gods" is the newest, biggest and the most immersive VRMMORPG to date. How do I know this? Everyone knows it. That is what game officials told to the entire world. And they were repeating that same sentence last ten years. But that isn't new, every game developer says the same right? Well, in this case, it is true. Especially with the trailer, they released half a year ago. That video was the most watched game trailer ever. Thunder roaring, volcanoes erupting, seas shaking that was the only tip of the iceberg. And there was even an iceberg in it. 10 times bigger than the one which sank Titanic.
Well, that for sure wasn't the only reason why I waited 10 years. 
The creator of this game is famous Thomas Mayer. When I say famous I mean super famous, like a worldwide star. He became worldwide famous only when the world heard how much money he invested in the game. It was billions. Before that he was only famous in our historical circles, he was, The" archeologist, and made his name known because he found a hell of a lot of historical sites across the world. He is an enormous mythology fanatic, and that is why he gathered mythology experts from around the world and sponsored the best programmers and designers to make the best game ever.
One of those experts was my late grandpa, he was an expert in Slavic mythology, so it was natural that he was invited. He was the one who made me fall in love with all the gods and goddesses with his stories when I was a kid, and that is the main reason why I am a history professor and work with these ungrateful children. 
They never show any interest in history, only now when there is a game about it ... Well who am I kidding, the only thing they are interested in is killing monsters with swords and magic. Even my generation wasn't interested in history. Mythology? That was the even worse case. Ironically I was the only one. No wonder I was called, Nerd no.1" of, Nerdy Trio".
, So did you have enough time to chat?" still, they haven't noticed me.
, Sorry professor" said class president when everyone finally found out that I am in the classroom,, we are all excited about, Age of Gods", it is coming out this evening".
, Have you heard of it professor?" asked the student in the back of the classroom.
, Of course, I heard of it" I answered, I am only 10 years older than you guys, and I don't live under a rock."
, Ha ha ha ha ha ha" entire class burst into a laughter. Good thing that they at least find me interesting and funny, otherwise trying to teach them anything would be hell.
, All right, all right everyone, let's start with the class. Since all of you find the game interesting, there will be a small test next week about ancient gods and heroes. Before you start complaining I will tell you that the ones who have more than 80% right will get a reward."
, What is a reward professor?" asked the diligent girl in the first row.
, Well" I said, I still haven't decided yet. You just have to worry about the test and I will worry about the reward." Like any of them will make 80%. , Let us begin now...."
Five classes and one afternoon later I finally found myself in a professors lounge. Every class was talking about, Age of Gods", so I thought that professors will be the same. Of course not. Most of my colleagues were older people, they wouldn't think about playing games. But not all of them are older, there are a couple of them my age. For example, two beautiful ladies entering the lounge now, and of course that big guy who is always behind them. 
One of the two beautiful ladies is professor Maria, if you saw her outside the school you would think she is a model for one of the famous brands around the world and not a teacher. She is two years my junior, only 25 years old, on high heels she is tall as I am, black glossy hair, a little darker tan, beautiful almost emerald eyes, full lips, white shirt, and black dress, even without makeup she looked absolutely stunning. When she came to school this year everyone was thinking why isn't she a model instead of a math teacher. Well, that is what I thought, and probably rest of the staff too. 
The shy looking lady next to her, professor Anna was another addition to the staff this year. That was one of the reasons why they got along very well together. She had blond hair made in a ponytail, thick glasses and was wearing a red blouse and jeans. She was also 25 years old. Overall she was also a nice looking woman, maybe if she took off her glasses, she could compare with professor Maria. But when I saw her I could believe that she teaches chemistry, unlike Maria.
The big guy following them was Nick, a PE teacher. He came to school three years ago, one year after me, but we never had any close contact. Me teaching history and he PE, well you could see lack of common ground for conversation. When our new two female colleagues came this year he started following them like a little puppy every break. At first, I thought that he liked professor Maria, but then I found out that he likes professor Anna, which made me relieved, but still surprised, he was taller than her almost half a meter. 
Why didn't I follow professor Maria if I liked her? Well, I am not insensitive, and even if I was I was always insecure around beautiful women, especially ones like Maria.
 As they were nearing the table I was sitting at, I could hear Nick's loud voice.
, Let's play it together Anna, I am strong, no one will dare bully in the game with me around."
So that was it, they will also play, Age of Gods", I made extra attention to this conversation especially Maria's expression. 
, Maria and I already talked about playing together so..." said Anna shyly and made a look towards Maria.
, That is right" she said and turned towards me, Hello professor, how was your day?" she asked me.
I was stunned for a second and after recovering my train of thought I replied. 
, Hello to you too professor, it was eventful as yours I presume, thanks for asking."
Anna and Nick turned in our direction and also sad hi, Anna with a little grateful smile and Nick with an expression that said why didn't this gay go home already.
I was used to this situation for the past half a year, Nick would chase Anna around the school, Ana would always go to Maria after every class, and Maria would include me into a conversation to make Nick fell awkward and Anna less so. Not that I minded Nick looking at me unfriendly, but when you have a chance to talk to a literal goddess, you don't care about the big guy.
As they sat around the table, Maria said, Well yes, you are right, in every class, I entered students were talking about the game, I had to give them a small test to calm them down."
I almost spurted tea I was drinking from my mouth at the time. She really was a strict teacher, I heard that when she first came to school some students tried to strike a friendly conversation and went too far, she gave whole class a test and 90% of the class had a failing grade. Not one student tried that again. But she was really popular with female students. But it seems that Age of Gods" triumphs over math tests every day.
, I too had the same situation" said Anna, students even asked me to play with them." Students looked at Anna like one of theirs and rarely made any mischief in her class. She was like a little sister everyone wanted to have., What about you professor Novak" continued Anna, are you also going to play, Age of Gods?"
Nick snorted, and Maria looked curiously at me.
, I will, I and my two good friends talked about the game for a long time, we are probably going to play it together. Maybe we can also play together sometimes." I have no idea how that came out of my mouth but I said that.
, That would be nice" said Anna, and I could see Nick glare at me like a wild animal, but he eased his look when he heard Maria's, Mhmm."
I had no idea what that meant but I had a nice feeling in my heart from that sound. It was like birds singing in spring.
After some small talk, we all started getting ready to go home. At the school gates, we bid farewell and made a deal to talk about the game tomorrow at breaks. Before Nick had a chance to make this day less than superb, and start his speech about him and Anna, and to but out next time, I heard a booming voice across the street calling to me.

A journey through the world where gods still rule and humans still fear them. A world in which history professor can finally be a part of it. A world of which he only heard stories of, when he was a child, and could only imagine it. Can this still be called a game, or is it a totally new(old) world?
The cover is not mine, I found it at some site about Slavic mythology and thought that it looked nice and badass.

Guys, I will certainly not drop this novel. I was busy these past months whether with college or with finding a job. I am still trying to balance everything and AOG had to suffer because of that. I hope that I will continue with my writing in a couple of months.

Olivia tapped Nick on the arm signaling him to come closer. Nick leaned down a bit to see what she wanted.

"So, which one of them do you like?"

Olivia whispered to Nick as she covered her mouth with her hand.

There was Celia, Katherine, and Freya. If Nick was surrounded by Katherine and Freya daily there was bound to be some feelings between them. Any sort of friendship can sprout into love, it only took time.

From Olivia's standpoint, Celia did not have a chance of competing as her and Nick did not have as much time to spend together. It would be hard for her to show off her good points.

"No one, really. I'm too young for a relationship and have too much on my plate right now."

Nick responded to his mother.

He did not want a relationship now, maybe once he was older and finished his business. Any relationship would have him distracted. He'd have to give attention to his partner, take her out on dates, give her gifts, and be there for her.

Nick understood that all females wanted romance in their life, hoping to meet their soulmate. They gained experience at a young age which would help them in the future finding the perfect person for them. Some were lucky enough to find their perfect partner at a young age.

"I don't believe you! One of these lovely young ladies is bound to have you swaying in one direction. You're young, which is a perk as you'll be like me in time.

Use this youth of yours to develop relationships, you need it. A female partner can be a powerful thing, no great man was created alone.

Olivia said honestly.

She believed her son to be the best male in the world, she only wanted him to be happy. For him not to want a relationship while he was young was concerning. Alex played a big part in his life, Olivia feared the guilt he felt over her death still haunted Nick.

Matthew casually said as he dismissed Nick's words. Why would he leave now? He wanted to chat more with his friend's fiance and get closer to his mother. Matthew could see it now, him being the best man. First, he would need to get in good with Celia to get her to like him.

If Nick's mother found Celia, then she might be able to find him someone as well.

Freya nodded her head agreeing with Matthew. She would rather stay here and chat with Nick's family. She wanted to learn more about Nick's childhood and his fiancee.

The only one who came with Nick was Katherine. She walked next to him with a black bag slung over her shoulders.

Nick noticed her hair was a little longer than when he first met her. Did she grow a bit taller? He could not really tell as they both were the same height.

"I was thinking of cutting it shorter, it is becoming troublesome to care for. If it was not for your sensei I would have chopped it off already."

Katherine said as she touched her hair.

"Just cut it if you want, about time she returns it'll grow itself out again. Not like Vance would say anything."

Nick paused for a moment as he switched the topic.

"Speaking of Vance, how is he?"

Nick asked Katherine as she lived with him when they were let out of school. Nick did not visit him all the time, but when he did it was a short visit.

Nick hoped he would be able to go play basketball or football with Vance on the next break. Nick believed he would have the time to do that.

Nick was slightly confused by her words. What did she mean act the same? Him and Vance were different.

Nick felt the sweat go down his back as he listened to her. Did he really do that? If he thought about it hard, he did… but it just seemed natural to him. Maybe he should work on being a bit more sly in the future.

"So why did you come with me? Usually, you'd do your own thing, and for you to start up a conversation is not like you."

Nick said as Katherine was a quiet person who would not talk much. She would never be the one to start up a conversation unless she wanted to ask a question. If she did talk, it was short, nothing too long. So yes, Nick found it weird for her to talk as much as she was now.

Nick did not know what to say, he dodged his mother's question but now Katherine was asking the same thing. Why was she so curious? Did his love life really matter that much to others?

Nick himself could already tell that Alyson had positive feelings for him. You'd have to be dumb not to tell, but he did not want a relationship at the moment. He figured even if he told her that, she would still hold him in a positive light.

"What about you? You talked about all the other girls, expect yourself."

'Why is Dir. Campbell talking to Klyde?' Nick asked himself.

"Don't forget, there is a feast tonight in the ballroom. Come and mingle with others, or just come for the food. It's tonight at eight, free food and drinks!"

A man shouted interrupting Nick's thoughts.

Klyde who was standing next to Dir. Campbell felt Nick's glare. He turned his head slightly and gave Nick a small smile.

"PRINCESS CHLOE WAKE UP" both the maid and servant screamed at the princess, Lord Kaname walked into her room and said Mom home!! very loudly.                      After Chloe wakes up she was still confused 😖. The princess was walked out of the room to go to the dinning room to eat breakfast. When they bring the princess plate to her she started to draw a picture of a person baking but the person has a question mark on his/her face, it was like she wanted to know who made it. When Kaname figures out what the picture means Kaname says that the chief made it but at that moment she made the picture into a woman baking and that person looks like her mom, pricess picks up the plate and threw it at the ground and crossed her arms. Kaname asks her do you want to eat out because u can't see your mom for the day, princess Chloe nods her head yes.
    
             Kaname introduced Hanabusa her personal servant to her then they ware off to her mom's favorite place which was Chipotle. While Hanabusa was ordering the food she saw a boy that looks exactly like her and he was right there looking at her behind the door.
