"It's a ghost town...the mansion," he exhaled, closing his catlike eyes. "All we have is a history museum...just dust, Mike..."

I puffed out through my nostrils, trying to imitate me huffing if I hadn't had my mouth stitched so tightly up.

For the first time in 14 years, each sworn brother of the Night's Watch gathered in the halls of Castle Black for a Choosing to nominate a candidate to serve as the new Lord Commander of the Night's Watch. Unlike the rest of Westeros, the Night's Watch is one of few institutions that hold elections in choosing their leaders almost similar to the Faith of the Seven's ruling council the Most Devout, the Order of Maesters' Conclave. In contrast, however, only the Night's Watch serves as a true, representative democracy where every member of the Night's Watch, from the First Ranger and the other high-ranking officers, down to the cooks, and even the lowliest steward who cleans out the chamber pots, has an equal vote when electing a new Lord Commander.

And whoever becomes the new Lord Commander, ultimately decides the fate of the captive wildlings during the Battle of Castle Black apparently.

"Treason! The Night's Watch have always defended the realm from what lies beyond the Wall for more than 8,000 years and we will never let the wildlings pass through into our lands, no matter how much they plead!" Ser Alliser Thorne called out.

First Builder Yarwyck nodded in agreement.

Jon Snow sat a small table with his friends Grenn, Eddison Tollett and Samwell Tarly. The situation was tense; with the Night's Watch's numbers greatly replenished and enough breathing room, there were some of their sworn brothers who backed Ser Alliser Thorne, Castle Black's Master-at-Arms and acting Lord Commander. Most of them touted his experience during Mance Rayder's wildling army attacked the Wall. Some even supported Ser Denys Mallister, commander of the Shadow Tower.

"Quite the select men to actually volunteer for the post," Grenn rolled his eyes.

"You'd think they'd have learned what we know, seen the things we've seen," Edd agreed.

Jon said nothing. Sitting a few tables across from him was a drunken Joffrey Baratheon, gulping down what appeared to be his fourth or fifth cup of ale. Word had already arrived from the capital of Petyr Baelish's and Cersei Lannister's trial by seven and subsequent execution on charges of treason. Normally Jon would've felt more sympathetic, but Joffrey had become incredibly violent and insubordinate; many of their sworn brothers made numerous complaints about Joffrey's aggressive behavior—only for both to be equally met with verbal reprimands.

"*hic!* Mother…" Joffrey bemoaned bitterly. "Fuckin' broth— *hic!* fuckin' brother. Hope you fuckin' burn in the *hic!* deepest corner of the *hic!* Seven hells…"

Samwell winced a bit, but Edd and Grenn looked at him with equal disgust.

"He's been like this these past four weeks," Grenn noticed.

Stannis Baratheon and his guests were permitted to observing the Night's Watch election on the condition there were no interruption or outside influence affecting the outcome. The fiery Stag of Dragonstone had his arms crossed and never took his eyes off of Joffrey.

'He should've been dealt with back at King's Landing,' he observed. 'They called him my nephew, but Joffrey shares no blood with me.'

As Ser Davos and Lady Selyse took their seats to watch the proceedings, but Stannis remained at the back of the hall with his personal guards. Soon enough, every sworn brother of the Night's Watch took their seats as Castle Black's maester Aemon slowly stood up from the Lord Commander's seat at the high table to officiate the vote. A wrinkled, shrunken, very old blind man of 104 years of age, Aemon was originally the second son of King Maekar I Targaryen, a Prince who renounced his claim to the Iron Throne before his older brother Aerion "Brightflame" died and refused the throne in favor of his younger brother Aegon—a sibling he referred to as "Egg". King Aegon of House Targaryen, the Fifth of His Name… who died many years later during the Tragedy at Summerhall and was succeeded by Aemon's nephew the Mad King Aerys II.

"The gods were cruel when they saw fit to test my vow. They waited until I was old," Maester Aemon once told Jon Snow four years ago. "What could I do when the ravens brought the news from the south? The ruin of my house, the death of my family… I was helpless, blind, frail. But when I heard they had killed my brother's son, and his poor son, and the children! Even the little children!"

"Who are you?"

"My father was Maekar, the First of His Name. My brother Aegon reigned after him when I had refused the throne, and his son… was Aerys… whom they called 'The Mad King.'"

"You're Aemon Targaryen."

"I am a Maester of the Citadel, bound in service to Castle Black and the Night's Watch. Whatever cruel test the Gods see fit to throw at you, Jon Snow, you'll have to live with whatever choice you make for the rest of your days, as I have."

Samwell had been taking care of Maester Aemon lately; given his old age and frailty, almost everyone knew that Aemon would inevitably die soon. Even though most of the Night's Watch often disregarded his wise counsel, Maester Aemon was still held in high regards.

"Crowded," Darius Hill uttered. "You'd think we were serving venison stew."

Aemon cleared his throat. "Does anyone wish to speak for candidates before we cast our tokens for the 998th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch?"

Camren Rivers, a bastard of House Darry from the Riverlands, rose from his chair. "I nominate Ser Alliser Thorne! He's not just a knight, but he's a man of true nobility. A veteran of hundreds of battles and defender on the Watch almost his whole life, he was acting commander when the Wall came under attack and led us to victory against the wildlings. Ser Alliser is our one true choice."

"Hear, hear," some of the Night's Watch applauded.

Ser Alliser grinned and looked back at Jon Snow, the bastard he had a social hostile rivalry ever since Jon arrived to swear his vows years ago. What made it worse was how humiliated Alliser was when Jon took command during the Battle of Castle Black when he was wounded in battle. Men cheer and beat on the tables as Alliser nodded at his supporters.

"Is there anyone else?"

One of the sworn brothers from Shadow Tower stood up. "Ser Denys Mallister joined the Watch as a boy and has served loyally longer than any other ranger. Through 10 winters he served. As commander of the Shadow Tower, he kept the wildlings away. We could do no better."

Men, including Jon, Grenn and Edd bang their cups on the table, but the reaction is much weaker.

"If there's no one else, we will begin the voting," Maester Aemon announced. "The triangular tokens count for Ser Alliser Thorne. The square tokens for Ser Denys Mallister. Each brother will—"

Grenn immediately rose sharply. "Wait!"

Every sworn brother, including Jon, Eddison and Samwell, look to Grenn at the back of the room in shock.

"Grenn. Go on."

Jon shakes his head 'no' at Grenn. Ser Davos, Samwell and Eddison were curious; Stannis, meanwhile, looked on in curiosity whereas Seylse frowned at the rude interruption.

"*hic!* Ah, the fearless giant slayer Grenn the Abandoned," Joffrey slurred. "And his trusted *hic!* companions Edd the Dimwit and Sam the Slayer."

The whole room turns and glares at him, including Stannis and his guests.

"What's a wildling *hic!* lover and his friends *hic!* Jon Snow the Bastard," he continued rudely. "Tell me, Piggy, how's your *hic!* lady love, Slayer? *hic!*"

More men frowned; very few chuckled but were silenced. Grenn was red with anger.

Samwell stood up in his friend's defense. "Her name is Gilly," he corrected. "Brother Joffrey knows her quite well. They cowered together in the larder during the battle for the Wall."

Joffrey scowled in fury as the men started laughing at him now. Rising sharply, Joffrey threw his cup across the room but his aim was terrible due to his intoxication.

"Lies!" he screamed.

"A wildling, a baby, and Joffrey the Illborn," Edd chimed in. "I seem to remember that we found him there when the battle was over curled up in the fetal position in a puddle of his own piss."

"SHUT *hic!* UP!"

Even stronger laughter erupted in the room, even Maester Aemon cracked a smile.

"Whilst Joffrey fled with his tail between his legs, hiding with the women and children, Jon Snow was leading," Grenn pointed to Jon.

The room goes quiet. Samwell nodded in agreement. "Ser Alliser fought bravely during the battle, it's true. It's an act of honor that cannot be questioned or dismissed. And when he was wounded, it was Jon who saved the day. He took charge of the Wall's defenses."

Eddison rose from his seat. "Jon Snow killed the Magnar of the Thenns. He went north to deal with Mance Rayder, knowing it would mean certain death. And before that, Jon led the mission to avenge Lord Commander Mormont."

"Mormont himself chose Jon to be his steward. He saw something in Jon and we've seen it all, too. He might be young, but he was the commander we turned to when the night was darkest."

Grenn looked at his friend. "With that, I'm proud to nominate my friend and brother Jon Snow as a candidate for Lord Commander of the Night's Watch!"

Jon blinked and looked across the room as men gave him a strong cheer. He wasn't expecting his name being put forward, almost uncertain what to do. Across from them, Ser Alliser Thorne stood from his seat.

"I can't argue with any of that. But who does Jon Snow want to command? The Night's Watch… or the wildlings?" he argued. "Everyone knows he loved a wildling girl and spoke with Mance Rayder many times," he looked at Stannis. "What would have happened in that tent if the Young Stag's own uncle Stannis Baratheon and his army hadn't come along?"

Stannis remained stoic, yet deeply frowned; believing it to be a slight on his honor that his cavalry rode to decimate the massive wildling army.

"We all saw him put the King-Beyond-the-Wall in a small cell on the condition he was not to be harmed until a new Lord Commander was chosen," he continued. "Do you want to choose a man who has fought the wildlings all his life? Or a man who makes love to them?"

Jon frowned angrily but doesn't respond; the memory of Ygritte's loss was still a fresh wound for him and Ser Alliser rubbed salt on his wounds, and Joffrey smirked in a smug manner. With the sworn brothers trading banter, Maester Aemon rises again.

"It is time. The triangular tokens count for Ser Alliser Thorne, the square tokens for Ser Denys Mallister… and the circular tokens for Jon Snow."

One by one, each sworn brother of the Night's Watch marched in a single-file line to the front of the room to place their selective tokens into a jar. Jon watched as he sipped his ale, but couldn't help but notice Joffrey glaring at him; his face curled in a wicked snarl.

'He's still upset about what happened down south,' he speculated.

What felt like several long twenty minutes, First Builder Yarwyck takes a small hammer and cracks open the jar and begins to count the tokens before stacking them up on the table. Everyone was holding their breath. Denys had a small amount, but Alliser and Jon have the same amount of tokens.

Yarwyck leaned close to Aemon's ear. "There appears to be a tie, Maester."

As the most senior member of Castle Black's leadership, Maester Aemon was now in his capacity to break the tie. With the aid of Yarwyck, Aemon steadily rose from his seat once more and feels each stack of tokens to determine which is which. Albeit he was old and blind, Aemon's other senses were still intact. Taking his own spare token from his sleeve, his hands steadily shook and cast his own vote for Jon Snow.

*CHEERS!*

*APPLAUSE!*

Amidst cheers and laughter, Olly turned and smiles at his mentor. Jon Snow felt as if the wind was knocked out of him in surprise, but smiled as his friends Samwell, Eddison and Grenn clapped the loudest. The men near Alliser, including Joffrey, look angry. The group of men gathered around Mallister, however, was rather content and even waived their hands up in a congratulatory acknowledgment.

"Jon Snow! Jon Snow! Jon Snow! Jon Snow!" the room chanted.

Elected as the 998th Lord Commander of the Night's Watch, Jon took a shaky breath and sees Alliser glaring at him, and lets out a small smile for the first time since he entered the room. With his new position, Jon felt a growing confidence swelling up inside him as he left the room with Olly, Samwell, Grenn and Eddison in tow—walking past Stannis and his attendees.

'Maybe I'll be able to settle an everlasting peace,' he thought hopefully.

"What are your orders… Lord Commander Snow?" Grenn asked.

Jon shrugged. "Still not used to hearing that," he admitted.

"Yeah, well, you're in charge of the Night's Watch now," Samwell pointed out. "Lots of responsibility."

"And that means a lot of hard choices lay ahead," Edd nodded.

Jon turned to his steward. "Olly, go to my chambers and fetch me Longclaw."

Olly nodded. "At once, Lord Commander."

As the boy left the room, Jon turned to his friends once he was certain they were alone.

"What I'm about to do now… it might divide the Night's Watch. Bitterly."

Samwell looked confused. "What do you mean?"

Jon exhaled, yet remained firm and absolute. "I'm going down to the cells to have a word with Mance Rayder, see what I can do to negotiate peace between us."

"Keep going!" Hivande urged as he quickened his pace through the tunnel, which was eerily quiet.  Whatever battle his captain was fighting in the chamber supposedly up ahead, if the nobleman was being truthful, was already over.  The officer felt a tingling sensation down his spine; it was a bad omen.  He saw more flickering lights up ahead and an opening which emptied into a wide chamber, just as the nobleman had promised.  "We're almost there!" he yelled.  The sound of heavy steps confirmed that his men were keeping up with his fast pace.

Finally, the cavalry broke free of the tunnel—only to find their captain laying on the ground, with a growing pool of blood seeping out of his body; the infamous swordswoman, Maisen, was on her knees next to him.  "NO!" the loyal men cried out in anguish at the sight of the woman holding Jiang in her hand.  By tradition, the fallen Captain of the Watch has the right to choose his successor, and the passing of Jiang identifies that chosen successor.  If the named successor isn't nearby, a trusted aide will take custody of Jiang, but forbidden to draw the blade, until the custodian can physically deliver the sword to the newly named Captain.  Thus, the sight of an unsheathed, blood-soaked Jiang in her hand confirmed the passing of their beloved Captain.

Hivande privately shared their pain but the disciplined officer pushed his emotions aside.  A part of his personal pain was due to the fact that Captain Li had declined to name Hivande as the next Captain of the Watch.  There could be several reasons.  Perhaps, the late captain judged Hivande to be deficient in certain areas such as leadership or swordsmanship.  Or perhaps the former captain believed that Hivande was better suited as the Right Hand to the Captain rather than to take the hot seat himself.  Regardless of his wounded pride at being passed over, Hivande had too much respect for the deceased man to ignore Li's decision.  Instead, the officer will respect and honor the former Captain by supporting the new Captain to the best of his abilities.

Hivande slowly walked up to the new Captain of the Watch.  He offered a crisp salute.  "Captain!   What are your orders?" the officer asked.  As he waited for a response, the man took note of the six dead wererats in the chamber.  He wondered how many of them were killed single-handedly by this woman kneeling on the ground before him.  Truth be told, no one currently serving in the Watch could duplicate this marvelous feat and thus, her outstanding fighting prowess partially validated the late captain's decision in Hivande's eye.

It took a moment for Maisen to realize that the officer was addressing her as "Captain."  The former member of the Butterfly School of Swordsmanship took a deep breath and then got back to her feet.  She looked Hivande in the eye and nodded in acknowledgment of his acceptance of her position as the new Captain of the Watch.  A reason for her hesitance to accept Peng's request was that the previous captains were all men (and human, since the Watch was part of the Church, which disallowed non-humans in its membership and by extension all Watchmen were humans, too).  She wasn't sure how the men would react to having a woman as their leader.

Maisen looked at the gathered men in the chamber and took a quick headcount—there were twenty men squeezed into the chamber.  If her memory was correct, the Watch had only five dozen members in all.  The other two groups had three Watchmen each; her own group had four including the late Peng.  With thirty members underground this meant that more half the force was currently inside this wererat lair.  The Were-Hunt must be completed soon, or else other troublemakers may take advantage of the temporary shortfall in manpower of the Watch.

The new captain took note of the respectful looks on the faces of these Watchmen, and she was secretly relieved to see that none had disputed Peng's decision to name her as his successor.  Although they had the right to do so by challenging her to a duel, none had chosen to exercise this right.

Captain Maisen pointed at the left and right opening in the chamber.  "I want a squad of six men going into each of these tunnels.  We still have people exploring each tunnel and they may need reinforcements."

Hivande held up one finger and pointed at the left opening.  He then held up two fingers and pointed at the right opening.

The men quickly sorted themselves into three squads and two of them entered those tunnels.

"The tunnel straight ahead branches off into two.  We encountered the wererats in the right tunnel.  The left side has yet to be explored," the captain continued.  She looked at Hivande's caption and read his name.  "Hivande, you will take the rest of your men to search the left branch.  I will enter the right branch to confirm that the wererats have been cleared out."  She retrieved the scabbard from Peng's belt and sheathed Jiang.

"Pardon, Captain, but I don't think you should go solo," Hivande objected.

"I won't be going alone," Maisen smiled and held up Jiang.  "Peng's spirit is in this gem," she revealed.  "We will finish what we started," her eyes hardened into stone.

"And what about the body on the ground?" the officer asked.

"We will retrieve it when we exit the lair.  Now let's go!" she ordered.

"Yes, Captain!" the remaining Watchmen saluted in unison and entered the northern tunnel, leaving the newly appointed captain behind.

"You trained them well, Peng," Maisen smiled.  She bowed deeply to the body on the ground and then followed her men into the tunnel.

I walked next to Laquirk and reached the Watch Headquarters in less than ten minutes.  The trek took that long because the streets were filled with debris and overturned wares; the wererats ran through the streets and caused pandemonium amongst the town folk.  The town residents had apparently abandoned their goods and I certainly agreed with their decisions to flee for their lives.

I was worried for a moment about Amelica and The Noble Lady.  Since the tavern was so close to my destination, I was tempted to ditch my escort and run back to the tavern to confirm with my own eyes that everything was okay.  However, my escort stayed within reach of my body; I had no doubt that if I tried to run away then Laquirk will forcefully take me back to the headquarters.  Thus, I pushed aside my rather flighty thought of running away; instead, I focused on navigating through the streets and carefully avoided tripping myself on the discarded goods that were strewn all over.

When I finally reached the building, I noticed the extra guards at the entrance.  I started walking toward the double doors in the middle of the building when my escort suddenly grabbed my arm.

"Sir, our quarantine facilities are to the right," Laquirk explained.  Keeping his grip on my right arm, he pulled me along as he walked toward the guards in front of the side door on the right corner of the building.  He offered a crisp salute to the two guards and said, "This man needs to be quarantined."

A guard opened the door and stuck his head inside.  "We got another one," he said.

In a moment, a middle-aged man wearing a red robe with a white cross exited the building and approached me.  He had curly white hair and stood half-a-head shorter than me.  The most interesting feature was his big nose; he reminded me of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.  The caption above his head revealed his name to be "Manfeuh."  The cleric nodded to Laquirk.  "I will escort this man inside."

My escort saluted and left me behind.

Manfeuh noticed the truth stone on my neck; he started to kneel before me and reached for my right hand, but I quickly stopped him.

"I am just a lowly Initiate of the church.  I was given a mission by Bishop Canterbury to avenge the death of the previous owner of this cross," I explained.  "In fact, I may need to return this stone to the Bishop," I added.

"Did you succeed?" he inquired politely.

I nodded.

"Praise the Gods of the Law and Order!" the cleric proclaimed while lifting his arms and head up in the air.  A moment later, his arms found their way on my shoulder and he looked at me with a big grin.  "Has the Bishop been informed of your success?" he asked.

"Not yet," I shook my head.

"With your permission, I will inform him myself," the cleric offered.

"Please do," I bowed deeply.

"No need to be so formal, Brother," Manfeuh replied.  "I hold the rank of Deacon in our Church.  While my rank is indeed higher than yours, aside from the Bishop the rest of us are equals as servants of the Gods of the Law and Order; only a polite nod is necessary when we greet one another.  The Bishop, on the other hand, is greeted with a kiss on his right hand," he lectured.  "I mistakenly thought that you were an overseer sent by the Church because I had never seen you before.  When in doubt, kneel and kiss," he winked.

"Yes, Deacon," I replied politely.

"When did you formally join our Church?" Deacon Manfeuh asked.  He was keenly aware of my discomfort and tried to change the topic.

"Just this morning," I answered.

The man had a surprised look on his face.  His eyes quickly returned to the truth stone around my neck.  "The Bishop himself gave you the cross?" he asked for a confirmation.  He was astonished that the bishop would leave the sacred cross in the hands of a neophyte!

"Yes," I nodded.

The deacon stood still for a moment, his mind lost in thought.  He offered me a reassuring smile.  "Let me be the first to welcome you into our Brotherhood.  Also, I volunteer to teach you the ways of the Church, if you will accept me as your teacher," he said.

"I will be honored to accept your tutelage," I replied with a deep bow.  I ignored the pop-up.

Deacon Manfeuh grabbed my shoulders again.  "Please, don't bow so deeply to this lowly servant."  He took note of the bloodstains and rips on my garments.  "Also, I would like you to be examined by our healers.  You will need to be quarantined tonight," he reminded me.  "Now, let's go inside," he requested and stepped through the side door.

Not long after all the Blaster fire ended, all the patrons that were in before expecting to see dead Mandalorians but just to find them sitting at the bar like nothing happened. Drex then shouted "Well what the fuck was that about!?"

All the patrons froze on the spot as the rest of Drex's men entered the guild and locked the door behind them. Drex then looked at all the patrons and said "I am going to say it again! What the fuck was all that about?" The biggest patron took a step forward and said "The guy you killed outside earlier was the boss of this place!"

Drex was in shock and then said "Well why the fuck was he shooting at the Jedi i was with then? I came here to work! not get shot at Ahahahah!" The partron then again said "Well i think they put a little hit on you!" Drex just shook his head and then said "Well who wants to run this bar for me from now on? Shadow get this bar under my name pronto!" Shadow nodded his head and jumped on the terminal and not even 5 minutes later all the deeds and funds were transfered over to Drex!

Shadow said "Mandalore the task is complete, i even emptied all there bank accounts to you also!" Drex laughed and said "Good Job Shadow!" Drex then pointed to the man who had been speaking to him and said "Whats your name fella? and what race are you?" The man was taken back from his questions and said with pride "I am a Devaronian and my name is Brezer!" 

Drex laughed at this and said "Do you want to work for me and run this bar? You will get some protection in the bar also! Gold point two commandos and 2 heavies to protect the bar. Shadow have two of your men stay in the back also!" Shadow and Gold pointed to some men and agreed and 6 men went and stood behind the bar.

Brezer seeing this grinned with his crooked teeth and said "Yes i will work for you Mandalore but we need to fix this place up!" Drex nodded and laughed and shouted "Everyone else! If you want to work for me stay here if not! GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY BAR, WERE CLOSED FOR TODAY!"

Brezer seeing this instantly jumped over the bar and started to clean up the mess from the fight, He had always dreamed of running a bar and his dream has finally came true!. Drex seeing him smile ignored him for now and said "Men clean up all these bodies, i don't want any remains to be found! Wipe the cameras also and 5 of you go and collect some of our spare Auto-Matic turrets and Camera systems were going to imbed them around the bar for protection!" 5 of the droids walk off and go to collect as the rest are cleaning the bar at breakneck speed.

Brezer was stunned at the speed these men are going at! Drex walked up to Brezer and told him "Alright you are going to be the Manager for the bar. Also i want you to order extra bottles of Eromlad and keep it in the office for me! I love that whiskey!" Brezer nodded and said "You got some good taste there boss!" Drex then laughed and passed him one of the stronger blasters from on of the assassins that tried to take out Drex and his men. 

Brezer looked at the blaster and looked over it, He was stunned by this gester as it was worth 10X more than the blaster he uses and it packs more of a punch! Drex laughed and told him "You will use this to protect yourself and the bar from now on! You can change it up how you want just tell my men and ill transfer credits to you!" 

From the attack inside the bar, Drex had recieved over 180 thousand credits! He transfered 50K worth to Brezer for him to get the bar up and running. Brezer was shocked at the amount of credits that had arrived his bank account. He had never seen that amount before!. Drex then looked at him and said "Use that amount to remodel and get better alcohol in the bar! Get a live band going in here also!" Brezer nodded and got straight to work. Drex seen this and smiled and turned to his men that are still working for him and said "Alright men lets go and see the cartel next, Shadow lead the way to them!"

Shadow nodded and led the way out, as soon as they opened the bar door to the outside, There were hundreds of bounty hunters aiming at them. Drex noticed this and used his force powers to bend the enemie's weapons barrels internally so there weapons would explode if they fired. Drex and all his men aimed at there bounty hunters. 

Drex noticed the street was really quite and there was no one around not even Republic soldiers that should be partrolling. Drex spoke up and asked "So.. Is this about that guy that tried to kill me or that shite sniper?" As soon as Drex said sniper they all tensed up a bit more remembering the sight of Drex punching a blaster shot like it was nothing.

 A Muun stepped forward (https://cdn2us.denofgeek.com/sites/denofgeekus/files/styles/article_width/public/2016/12/star_wars_races_muun.jpg?itok=cAlH-yni) bows and said "Mandalore, the great Golga Besadii Fir has requested you at the Valorum Tower!" (For those who don't know  Golga Besadii Fir is the Hutt ambassador to Coruscant from the Hutt Grand Council) Drex hearing this put his weapons back in there holsters and said with glee "So what would the Hutt Grand Council like with me? and is all this really neccesary?" Pointing to all the men aiming at him.

The Muun smiled as he never expected this Mandalore to know about the Hutt Grand Council, the Muun then said "Everyone stand down and follow me Mandalore" Drex nodded and said "Everyone stay here apart from Gold, Shadow and Twinkle you guys follow me" The Muun led the way as all the HK's went into the bar to continue working and all the Bounty Hunter's that were origionally aiming had all dispersed back into the streets and all the bars that they had been spending there credits in.

After following the Muun for over an hour to the Valorum Tower. As he entered the Tower the Republican soldiers told him  "Sir, You must disarm before going in further or we can't grant you access!" Drex laughed and said  "Gold, Hold my guns and the rest of you wait here!" Gold came forward as Drex threw his massive heavy blaster pistol at Gold. The republic soldiers finally let him through after several minutes.

The Muun led the way through the hallways till they came before a massive door and several guards standing outside. Drex laughed and said "First day on Coruscant and i get attacked twice, and have been in one too many meetings!" Muun hearing this grimaced and then still replayed the video through his mind of this Mandalore punching a bolt like it was nothing and the rifle the sniper used was meant to blast through most armours easily but couldn't even put a scratch on his armour!

The Muun finally said "Mandalore, you are to enter from here by yourself to meet the honerable Golga Besadii Fir" Drex nodded and walked through as the doors closed behind him. He entered into a dark smokey room too see a Large Slug like creature which he recognised as a B'omarr Monk. Golga seen the mandalore she had requested to see and said "Mandalore, It is lovely to meet you! but what clan are you from? I have never seen that many mandalorians to ever arrive on coruscant and we have a deal with clan Death Watch and they were never to set foot on here!"

Drex was taken back as he hadn't thought about other mandalorian clans and if they were to hear of him taking the mantle as a mandalore and let alone a new clan with advance tech he will probally be attacked if they found out about him!. Drex said "Greetings honerable Golga Besadii Fir of the Hutt Grand Council, I am the Mandalore Drex of the clan known as Reapers, We are a hidden clan and are more advanced than the other Mandalorians clans. We don't normally leave survivors so no one ever hears of us" 

Golga stared at him trying to find out more but was getting nothing out of her stare but said "Well Mandalore Drex, our agreement with the Death Watch is that they will always respond to our aid if we ever get attacked. So what say you? will you help us also?" Drex stared back thinking of what he should do as he doesn't want to work with the Hutts as they will work with the CIS evetually and he doesn't want to be involved with them and he doesn't like the Death Watch as they always betray people.

Drex looked up to Golga and said "Unfortunately i can't agree to an alliance but i can agree to a non-violence treatie. This way i won't ever attack you and you won't attack me. So unless you directly attack me the Hutt clan is safe and we don't need credits as my clan don't care for anything as simple as that" Golga said "Well i am saddened by the fact we won't have an alliance but a peace treatie will do! But if we get attacked can we still ask you for help?"

Drex reluctantly said "Yes you can always ask for help but doesn't mean we will always accept to help you as we still have our own problems and also as soon as Death Watch hears of us, there is no doubt in my mind that they will try to take over us" Drex laughes manicaly and then says "I'd love to see them try, they wont even make it a second near us before there eliminated AHAHA" Drex decided to put on act to sound like he has a powerful army at his side and show of his power so the Hutts don't try to attack him in the Inner Rim but thats only if they find out where he is keeping his forces.

Drex gave Golga his holonet number and walked off back to his Gold and his men. As soon as he walked past the republic soldiers Gold threw his weapons back to him and he caught it fluently and put them back into his holsters. Drex said loudly "I am starting to get pissed off with all these people disturbing my day!"

Drex slowly made his way back to his new bar to see how the work is going on in there. When he arrived he noticed a crowd at the door screaming and shouting as he noticed a guy in black Mandalorian armour trying to barge in to the bar. Drex sees his men not even budging to this mandalorians shoved and shouting so he shouted over at the man "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY MEN YOU PUNY MANDALORIAN!"

The Black armoured mandalorian noticed this and shouted at Drex saying "I AM PART OF THE DEATH WATCH CLAN! YOU SHOULD BOW BEFORE US!!" Drex got angry and told his men "Show this fool a lesson and make sure he never walks again!" The Black armoured Mando pulled his blaster and shot at Drex when he said this. Drex just took the shot from the Mando's blaster rifle and it didn't even scratch his armour. Drex acted like it was nothing and dusted his armour as he watch the mandalorian have his arms and legs broken like he was made of paper listening to him screaming.

Drex then said in a cold and threatining voice "I'm taking this that you have the Death Watch Clans permission to declare war on us or is this your own personnel reason to attack us!?" The black mandalorian got dragged away by some other bounty hunters in a rush after this and the crowd all started at Drex. Drex always hated public speeches but he was going have to get used to this, He didn't mind with his men since they were all droids and they had a program inside them to always respect him.

Drex straightened up and walked to the front of the crowd and shouted "AT THIS MOMENT I AM DECLARING, THAT THE REAPERS CLAN ARE AN INDEPENDANT MANDALORIAN CLAN!" The bounty hunters stirred hearing this as that meant that a war was gonna kick off between Mandalorians. Drex laughed hearing this and also said "My new bar is getting rennovated and will be re-open tomorrow! So if you all want to come! The first drink is free!" Everyone hearing this screamed in glee as free alcohol isn't something you get everyday!

Drex smiled and finally entered his new bar too see all the renovations! It was emaculate inside and all the CCTV he had put around the place was crazy! He even had a VIP Section installed near his office door. All the Automated turrets had been hidden to pop out at a moments notice and they were hidden so no one can know where they are! 

Drex set off for the Docking pad his ship had landed at to pay for the docking fees by the time he got there it was already night and wasn't hoping for much else to happen! especially in a Republic military owned area! When he arrived he could see DD shouting at some Republic Officer and engineer who kept wanting to take apart the ship to find out about the material and engine used on the ship!

Drex arrived and asked "So who is the highest ranking officer here?!" A young captain walked forward and said "I am!, Have you come to pay for your docking fees and transponder replacement?" Drex nodded and then pointed over to DD and the two people he is arguing with and asked "What's going on over there and here is the credits" Drex passed the young officer the credits and said "The officer is some big wig scientist who wants to find how your ship ticks as he has never seen that technology before and the engineer works for him also"

Drex laughed and said "Unfortunately that is my clans secret technology and he will never be able to replicate it without the power of my clan" the young officer laughed and stared at the three having an argument. Drex asked "So how long have they been arguing?" The young officer looked at him and smiled and said "Over 2 hours now but your pilot won't even let them near the ship. Its hilarious!"

Drex started to laugh loudly with the young officer. DD noticed this and so did the other two, DD shouted over and said "Boss they want to take apart your ship and they wont leave till they do is what they said!" The officer then retorted and said "I need to see how this ship ticks. Its amazingly advanced, with this technology we could advance our ships by hundreds of years!" he stared at drex with litteral stars in his eyes!

Drex then laughed and said "Even if you brought your whole engineering company. It would take you decades to take it apart and i don't have that time to do that!" The officer stared at him angrily and said "Ill have to get the senates backing on this to get you to help me!" Drex just laughed and said "how are they going to enforce me to do this when i am the ruler for my clan? and i am yet to go to the senate to offer my services?"

The officer just stared at him and said "You are not part of the Death Watch clan?" Drex just shook his head and said "My clan has never met other clans, We have always stayed in the shadows, it was only when i took over that i decided to change that! but depending on what the senate says to me i might share some technological secrets with you especially since we have hundreds of advanced star ships" he chuckled at the end just to watch this officer smile with glee and then he ran off with the engineer in tow.

The young captain looked at him and shook his head saying "Well that was new, i have never seen him smile like that before and he actually left you also. ahahah. So your part of a different clan then? that would explain why the Jedi came and picked you up and didn't hide" Drex shook his head saying "That was for something more secret, they also learn't that today so i won't be suprised if i get a senate summons in a few days" he chuckled and walked towards his ship.

He made sure to swap his men out with some other men to guard the outside of the ship for a night shift so they don't try to take advantage of some sleepy men. Though they don't know there robots, DD also walked into the ship and said to Drex "Boss, new transponder fitted and thanks for getting rid of those annoying bastards ahhaa" Drex just laughed and went to the chef bot on board and got his usual 100oZ Rancor steak and enjoyed the tenderness of the meat as usual.

Drex finally got into his Cabin on his ship and locked the door and finally felt relaxed. He kept feeling like someone has been watching constantly from a distance all day since he took that sniper shot to the fist. He has also been thinking on how to deal with the Death Watch clan since he kinda broken one of his men. Drex eventually fell asleep after an eventfull day....

 The red watch gave off a devilish light.
 An ethereal voice announced how strong the Bank of the Universe was.
 Changsen Men looked on in shock.
 From the surface of the red watch, he saw a magical space with a giant palace. The entire palace was black in color and in front of the entrance stood a man and a woman. They looked really handsome and beautiful and gave off a strong aura.
 "The Bank of the Universe? What is that?" Changsen Men's heart was beating really fast. 
 He suddenly realized that he had met a lucky break.
 He has a stroke of good luck all of a sudden.
 Kacha!
 Following the watch's instructions, Changsen Men shattered it. His body dimmed and he disappeared from his room.
 ...
 In the Bank of the Universe, on the square, Li Xiandao was looking at Weapon Crafting Mountain Range craft the Nether Purple Mountain.
 The outline of the long sword formed.
 With the continuous strikes, it became stronger and stronger. Li Xiandao looked forward to the moment that it was formed.
 Seven looked on with Li Xiandao but suddenly her face sunk. She received the news and said, "There is a new guest."
 Li Xiandao was delighted, "So quickly?"
 Less than half a day passed since the watch was released.
 "It has been a long time since people from Heaven Sky met Bank of the Universe. Too many people want to trade, so the watch chose the suitable people to enter." Seven said.
 Li Xiandao nodded, "That is good, I love having good business."
 He looked at the sword which was forming up in the Weapon Crafting Mountain Range reluctantly before walking into the Trading Hall.
 This time Li Xiandao didn't wear a mask.
 He was so strong now so he didn't wear masks much. In the past when he was weak, he was afraid that people would remember what he looked like. In the future when he walked outside, he might be in danger.
 Now, Li Xiandao had strength.
 Wearing the mask was pointless now.
 If people recognized him now, then so be it. Li Xiandao was not afraid of anyone.
 In the Trading Hall, Li Xiandao saw the new guest.
 There was a young man, a careful looking young man. He looked at Li Xiandao and Seven like a well-behaved kid.
 Li Xiandao smiled, "Guest, welcome to the Bank of the Universe. You can trade anything here as long as you can pay the price."
 Changsen Men sat down. He didn't need Li Xiandao to point him out and just asked carefully, "Anything?"
 "Right, anything, as long as you can pay the equivalent price." Li Xiandao nodded.
 "I want you to help be break free from my identity as a spy." Changsen Men sucked in a deep breath and said.
 "Break free from your identity of a spy?" Li Xiandao looked at him in confusion.
 "Right, I am in a bad situation. I am a spy for one day before turning into the heir of the royal family. I will become the emperor, so why should I be my own spy?" Changsen Men felt a little depressed.
 He was filled with regret. Why did he listen to those people from Chaos Demon Sect?
 Li Xiandao blinked and was totally confused. He asked, "Tell me exactly what happened."
 Changsen Men started to speak about his amazing experience over these two days.
 "A day ago, I was dragged in by people from Chaos Demon Sect and I entered their organization. Under the temptations of rewards, I agreed to be their spy and to provide them with intel."
 "I am a son of the royal family but because of my mother's lowly status, I don't have any presence at all. I don't get many resources and have been working hard. But without the resources, I can't compare to those who are supported."
 "So, I gave up on any thoughts of fighting for the throne. I worked with Chaos Demon Sect to provide them some intel in exchange for some rewards."
 Changsen Men repeated what had happened to him a day ago.
 After Li Xiandao heard that, he said, "That's good. A person at the outskirts providing some intel of not much value and still being able to earn some resources."
 "That was what I thought. A person like me providing information of not much value." His face collapsed, "But who knew that just today, my identity would change?"
 "I was designated as the heir, so I am the emperor of the new generation. As long as I reached Destiny Realm, I will take over and gain control of the Everlasting Life Dynasty celestial artifact." Changsen Men didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
 "So I have become my own spy, selling my own intel to them. I am regretting everything." Changsen Men was helpless.
 Li Xiandao blinked. This Changsen Men was a little too focused on interests.
 He agreed to be a spy because of the resources that Chaos Demon SEct promised him.
 Today because he became the heir, he didn't want to be an heir.
 This person was a problem.
 Of course, Li Xiandao didn't care. He was a merchant and if one brought him enough benefits, Li Xiandao would do it.
 "So what are you worrying about?" Li Xiandao continued to ask. He wanted to gain more information to learn how to let himself benefit more.
 "Everlasting Life Dynasty and Chaos Demon Sect are enemies and there is no room for reconciliation. I signed a form in the sect and once this is spread out, I won't need to live anymore much less be an heir. I might even have my body split into five parts." Changsen Men was afraid.
 Li Xiandao understood.
 "Because you are the heir and have limitless potential, you want to kick Chaos Demon Sect away and cover up your black history? You don't want them to threaten you so you came to find us?" Li Xiandao asked. 
 Right, that is the case. I am the heir to Everlasting Life Dynasty so how can I be their spy? It is wishful thinking for them." Changsen Men was annoyed.
 Li Xiandao looked at him calmly. It seemed like when Chaos Demon Sect found him, he was a prince that no one cared about.
 What a selfish person who goes against his word... 
 Li Xiandao made his judgment of him and then said, "I can help you solve that problem but what can you give me?"
 Changsen Men thought about it, "What about 10,000 god source."
 Li Xiandao looked at him and laughed. It was a laugh of disdain, "Do you think I am running a charity?"
 Changsen Men saw that Li Xiandao was angry and he was terrified. He asked, "Then what do you want?"
 "What I want depends on how big your trouble is. If you were that prince that no one cared about, 10,000 god source might suffice. But now that you are the heir and future emperor, this is not enough." Li Xiandao said calmly. He reminded Changsen Men that his identity was different.


Li Xiandao obtained the ancient Bank of the Universe, but the bank was now totally empty and there were no treasures at all. The only thing it held: a bunch of debts.
The Eternal Celestial King borrowed a supreme celestial artifact, promising to pay it back in two pieces in 3,000 years. He will pay an additional piece for every 1,000 years after the expiry date!
Moon Celestial loaned a high-quality face, to be returned in 10,000 years. If overdue, she will pay with her life!
Time Immemorial Sage loaned 10,000 years in life from the Bank of the Universe in order to break through. After he breaks through, he will pay back 10,000 years. If late, he must pay back 10 times the amount!
Li Xiandao looked at these debts and at the empty Bank of the Universe. He made his mind up to become a true expert, to find all these supreme beings to get back the overdue debts one by one!
A powerless mortal had became the biggest creditor in the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands and even the entire Celestial World!

"What?" Oki ask, shocked at the proposal
"Well, it's not like you have a place to go back to", Shiek replies, "And besides, I haven't had someone to talk to for years." 
 "You know why that is right?" "let me guess, I am a shifter" Shiek gets up and heads deeper into the cave. "What's your name, dragon girl?" "Oki", The girl replies as she looks at the rest of the cavern,
It is small, barely three meters tall or wide; there are carvings on the wall,  carvings of ancient people, and the history of the shifters. Still, before she can start to understand the carvings, Shiek returns.
 "Here I got you some clothes," He says, handing some poorly made leather clothing. "I am not a craftsman, so this is the best I could do; they might be a bit big for you as they were made for me."
"Thank you", Oki looks at Shiek; the young man might be around her age, but unlike the boys in the village, he had broad shoulders and unkempt hair. wearing a shabby shirt with no sleeves made out of pelts and pants too large for him, he looked uncivilized, she thought, but that was right Shifters were savage and uncivilized beasts, even worst than the dragons who murdered her father. "Looking at the carvings?" Shiek asks, breaking her silent thinking. "Yes, it is unexpected for your people to record history" Shiek lets out a small laugh. "Do you want to know what it says? See if it's anything different from what they teach you?" She grips the blanket harder, irritation clearly visible on her face. "And why would I do that? Listen to the history of savages". "History is written by the winner. Perhaps you will learn something new". Oki scoffs at this "Everyone knows the story of your kind, Born by the unholy union of the god of men and the goddess of beasts, You inhabited all the lands, stronger than men, smarter than beasts. Your clans were many and fearsome, but you were just another race until the coming of Atyer. He united all the clans and turned you against everything else. Under his rule, you started to kidnap anything that could be used to further increase the power of your species. And what you couldn't exploit you devoured, until the races of men, elves, dwarves and orcs united, their forces ambushed Atyer's tribe and killed him, without his leadership the other tribes dispersed, but kept following his twisted teachings" Shiek looks impressed by her knowledge, but as he approaches one end of the wall he lays his hand on the carved wall "The god of man, he loved the world and everything within it, he loved all the races, but he feared the beasts who could easily overpower men, so one day he struck a deal with the goddess of beasts, she would birth the first Shifters, and they would protect both beast and men, they would keep them away from each other. So the first five were born, Moonfang, Stronghorn, Coldscales, Fastfeet and Whitewing. The first five decided themselves upon the continent, Stronghorn went west to protect men from the treacherous beast that inhabit the hills, Coldscales hurried south, from there he would always watch the waters of all the continent, Fastfeet went east to great planes where he could outrun any beast, Whitewing went north where the endless sky became his domains, and from there he would watch the world from the peaks of the Ugrudu Mountains. Moonfang came to the desert, here he would connect the four lands and help those who wished to cross." He moves forwards along the wall. A picture of five men with animalistic features is carved on the wall. One man has horns and hoofs, another had wings on his back, one has fins and scale, and the fourth has rabbit ears, and the last had a wolf head and tail. "They protected the land for the rest of their lives than passing on their powers to chosen members of their tribes, this continued for 200 years, or Until Atyer was nominated the new Moonfang, he had grown tired of protecting those who had forgotten of the Shifters deeds, and he was not the only one. all the other chosen gathered under his banner and started to live like they wished. They let go of their human side and embraced the beast within, this lead them to want to evolve, they kidnapped men and women with powers, they forced them to breed the new generations, but at last, Atyer was defeated, and the shifters were driven back, but the damage was done, new shifters were born, and our reputation was tarnished."

The insurrection, Shifters, the protectors of the world, had risen in riot and waged war following Atyer, their twisted leader. 

He lead the rebellion, conducting twisted experiments to "improve" the shifters until the allied races finally put him down. 

Since than, Shifters have been looked at with mistrust and hate, blamed for the war, even those who had nothing to do with it. 

Shiek, a shifter, meets Oki, a dragon girl, and together they are tasked with leading the Shifters back to their prime in these turbulent times
