Aki wore an all-white dress and bright red high heel shoes. She makeup her face with simple makeup and bright red-orange lip tint. 

When Aldrich comes to her house, he was surprised by her unusual color of the dress. Aki usually wearing a black or navy blue dress only but today she's wearing white for the date.

Aki:" Mmm, I wonder if I look good?"( thinking )

Few minutes later, they arrived at mall. Both of them is shy. Aldrich wanna hold her hands but he felt so nervous. Then, suddenly someone accidentally bumped into Aki and made her almost fall, Aldrich holding her before falling.

Aki:" Errr, thanks. "

Aldrich:"Yes.."

Aki:" I'm hungry, let's go to sushi restaurant."

Aldrich:" Yes, let's go.."

Then, they eating at sushi restaurant. Aki eating 40 plate of sushi. Aldrich just look at her, he can't eat because looking at her eating so much. He never see someone like her that eat that much.

Aki:" Why you don't eat?"

Aldrich:" Yes,yes,yes. I would eat."

After that, they go to cinema and searching for horror movie once again. But nothing new, it's only action movies and romances.

Aki:" I don't like that."

Aldrich:" Then?"

Aki:" Let's go to other cinema?"

Aldrich:" No. Only here."

Aki:" I want horror movie! " ( sulk )

Aldrich:" No, sorry. okay?"

Aki:" But... I want..."

Aldrich:" Later on, okay? This time, we watch romances story?"

Aki:" Okay. "

Later, they watch romantic comedy movie.
As usual, Aki don't feel anything while watching it. She just stay silent even though many people inside was laughing so loud.

Aldrich:" Why you are silent?"

Aki:" Nothing..."

Aldrich:" isn't it funny?"

Aki:" Not at all. "

Aldrich:" Really?"

Aki:" Yes.."

Aldrich:" She's definitely weird. What should I do?" ( think )

Aki:" Wake me up when it's finish. "

Aki fell asleep on Aldrich's shoulder. Aldrich then hugs Aki. Aki unconsciously, also hugged Aldrich. 

Aldrich:" She look so cute! " ( thinking )

Hello, thank you for reading this book but I think I will have to disappoint some readers with this short explanation of my current situation. Originally, I wanted this novel to be strictly action set in the heavenly realm. Of course, I strayed from my original plan as I made up the plot as I went. 

So now, the book mainly focuses on bloody romances which will be so tough to write. I am an amateur writer who bounces from one platform to the next and I know I tend to be wishy washy. I truly hope I am not making a mistake with making this novel somewhat romance centred. Although it is a romance book, I will be sure to put in some bloody wars because it does fit with the prophecy I made up. 

I am currently working on creating the perfect villain so before he or she wreaks havoc, I guess we can have angry immortals and beasts birthed from the mind. Equally as scary but I may not deliver the story properly. I feel terrible knowing that there may be a chance I'm ruining the novel by following a different path. 

If what you are looking for is true Eastern Fantasy without any romance, I also have a slow updating novel: Faces of the Demon King. Full of angst and action, that one. I apologize in advance for both books as my writing is not well developed and often times, not proofread. The life of a busy high school student does not help me relax through writing. 

At times I find writing stressful which is why I do not update as quickly as I would when I just started a novel. I try to juggle my studies, extracurricular activities, family life, hobbies and writing. Sometimes I write late at night so I apologize for the horrible writing. Even when I go back and edit the chapter, I press "publish" and sit staring at the screen. 

Anyway, I will warn my readers that this either has abandoned ship and started a new fleet. If bloody romances are not your cup of tea, I will not take it personally if you leave. I also have my likes and dislikes. I just hope this novel will not be going to the trash after a few months.

Early morning, I'm dragged out of bed by a very aggressive Yuri noona and manhandled into the companies van as we set off.

Still barely awake, I yawn uncontrollably while I make myself snug into the leather seat.

I struggle until I finally find the perfect position, unlike Baechu who is able to fall asleep in any pose,  I finally find myself comfortable, as I am turned on my side with  my right hand under me clasping my left hand that's come from the opposite side supporting my head.

Just as I am drifting back off to sleep, the driver announces unceremoniously "We are here"

I'm once again forcefully handled and dragged inside a traditional Korean themed restaurant. 

Led into a private booth. Inside I am pleasantly surprised by how modern the furnishings are as in contrast to the outside.

As I enter I am greeted by two 30 year old female faces and a couple of bigger built men behind the cameras. 

The females are professionally dressed signalling their status as office workers. 

They look to be about similar in age, around their early 30's. 

The one to my left seems like the less senior one, her hair is tied neatly as to not interfere in her work, while the other's hair is much shorter and loose in a bob styled. While neither are what you would call traditional beauties, both are above average in looks and have this working girl charm about them.

Setting my wallet and  scarf down on the table I greet.

"Morning I'm Dylan Park nice to meet you."

"Hi Dylan, I am Suri An and this is Im Jeong-ah the executive director of the show"

"We couldn't have made this meeting a little later in the day?" I laugh

"(hahaha) It's pretty late in the day ... for us" One of the two says

"7:30 ? Geez you producers have it tough. I need my beauty sleep"

"Oh so you are saying we aren't pretty enough to require beauty sleep?" Jeong-ah asks

"I take it you are the main writer?"

"Why do you say so?" She tilts her head quizzically

"Well seeing how you were able to spin my words, makes me think you worked for a tabloid" I answer

"Daebak! I used to work for Chosun"

"I knew it! You just have the face for a newspaper!  I kid, I kid. So since we have gotten the pleasantries out of the way, mind getting to the real questions? I got an audition later"

"Oh quite the confident young man we've got here" Jeong-ah says

"Some take it as arrogance" I respond

" 'It's only arrogance, if you're wrong' Did I get the saying right? " Jeong-ah asks Suri for confirmation

" If you are quoting Simone de Beauvoi, then you are correct" I interrupt

"Wow not only good looking but smart too. Trying to match a girl for you, that the audience is going to think is suitable is tough" She says

"I haven't yet said that I'll join. You seem pretty confident yourself"

"Well you coming to the meeting was 9/10ths of the work"

" You got me there. So let's start with my questions, what story do you plan on portraying to the world with me?" I ask

She takes a second to think before she breaks into a smile, " The nations love"

"Interesting, elaborate"

"In short. Due to the call I had with your agent and since I had you in mind. I have had an idea.... The greatest noona romance in history"

Taking a deep breath, she prepares herself to begin an expose.

Suri turns to me and has a look on her face as if to say, 'here were go again'

Jeong-ah then begins to speak, "Age serves an important role in the way we relate to each other, in romances especially so. Being able to break down the age gap, whether male or female is particularly interesting not only to me but to all viewers.

Noona romances have something very interesting to say about the power of choice. Unlike the more tropey romances which this show has and often portrays. 

Love and embarking on a relationship is a choice. What we usually try to portray is love as magical, bigger than ourselves, and being able to plow through any obstacles in its way — and while all of this is true, noona romances often linger over the heroines' decision-making.

If love is presented as a choice for our noonas, what sort of things get in the way of what seems like a perfectly acceptable and delightful proposition? Our first reaction would be to say the age of the hero. It's therefore up to the hero, to prove his maturity and loyalty.

Seeing you portray the hero who slowly breaks down, the older woman's walls will prove challenging and fun. 

Remember the show is semi-scripted. All we do is provide a location, i.e. date, location, theme and time. It's therefore up to you to decide if you can win her heart or not. And if you do whether the heroine be able to put her baggage aside and fully commit to the relationship?

This has the opportunity to be a rich story that explores the imperfections of human nature. After all, behind the noona romance, there's just a story about people.

So what do you say Dylan, will you join me?"

What's up with that crazed look in her face? Is she trying to get me to join a cult? I can't say she didn't speak right to my soul though.

"Who will be playing the Heroine in this story"

She takes a moment, before flashing me a knowing smirk, "That I can't tell you. But I assure you it will be Korea's biggest story ever. That I promise you."

"And If I say no?" 

"You will forever regret not taking this opportunity" 

"What are you willing to bet on this?" 

"My career and eye for talent" 

At this time in my previous life, I really can't recall if any big names joined the Got Married Production, but neither did Brilliant legacy reach 30% in ratings. 

This is a decision which for the first time since living this new life, I have no confidence in.

If this causes my wings to burn, I will just piece it together. 

Thinking back to something Choo once said, "Life is not meant to be stable, its supposed to have ups and down like a heart monitor. That's how we know that we are alive" 

Moments like those make me certain that no matter how much lives I live, I will always fall for her. 

Resolution fills my eyes as I flash her my pearly whites, stand up from the seat and reach out with my right hand toward the Pd-nim.

"LET'S SHOOT SOME REALITY TV!"

Dylan was an ordinary 18 year old with a particular taste for the older girls. What will happen when one day he finds himself in the past possessing a body no longer his own.

Dylan: "Where am I?"

"OMG i'm hot!?"

"Its time to .duh duh duh. Pick up noonas!"

How far will cheesy pickup lines and knowledge of the future take him ? Its anyones guess

I'm very sorry for my absence got busy but now have a lot of free time and can begin writing, can I have some suggestions on what to do/write for fighting scenes and romance. It's very new to me when writing and it's just as weird in real life, I don't want the romances to seem forced and weird that's why I haven't tried anything with Alexis.

Discontinued/hiatus

This is a fan fic of For Honor, I created this when my love for the game was at its peak but that has changed. I don’t have any love for the game anymore. I deleted all the chapters, but I’m going to put them up to have them there and because I’m thinking of picking the story up again. I am leaning towards creating a Fire Emblem: Three Houses fan-fic.

    I don't have much info this time, all I know is that Rachel Smythe is a feisty New Zealand woman who loves a good myth. Like many creators, I resonate with her a lot as she has done multiple works with Lore Olympus being her current big project.

    Summary

    The story takes place in the world where Greek myth has taken a far more modern approach, with the gods effectively-being celebrities and business owners. And in this cesspool of debauchery and sin, we are introduced (or reintroduced based on your POV) to the latest retelling of the taking of Persephone.


Characters


Hades: After a lifetime being scorned by both his father Kronos and his bid as lord of the underworld, Hades is a man who is often as dark as his reputation. Unlike his brothers, Hades is far more down to earth and introverted than his brothers. This trait makes him a very kind soul who thinks that he doesn't deserve love and affection. This is a bit of a problem when he is hopelessly in love with Persephone,e and he often can't process his own emotions, leading to utter hilarity.



Persephone: A young fertility goddess with a lot to prove Kore or Persephone is, unfortunately, a naive girl in a hard world. Her mother, Demeter, has kept her from the real world for almost her entire life. However, despite all this, her kind nature and bubbly nature has won her the admiration and love of many. She tries very hard to take her on her own and take every blow; she takes one step at a time. Though this doesn't mean she isn't smart and resourceful on her own. While the Underworld does fight Persphone at every turn, she is slowly starting to fight back and make more independent choices. 



Overview


Honestly, even from the premise alone, as a mythology buff, I've always found the myth to be rather inconsistent. Sometimes it is shown to be a rather creepy older man letting a young lady finally act out, sometimes they are a lovey-dovey couple, and others state the event as more of kidnapping, so having it be more of a traditional romance is rather refreshing as it is a little more nuanced and complex then it should be. 


This series also has one of the unique art styles I have ever been blessed with. Each god is portrayed in a signature color, which often makes them perfectly contrasts or compliment the environment depending on the scene. It feels like I'm reading an old storybook, and it shows. And while I'm not accustomed to the romance genre in the least bit, i still feel as though Hades and Persephone have legitimately good chemistry, and I feel like this succeeds where most romances fail. I've said before that I feel like it's important to take your time and to get inside the head of your characters, and in this story, we get to the point where we can hear almost every awkward adorkable thought they have, which means that unfortunately, they are as dense as they are beautiful.

Lore Olympus also doesn't shy away from other myths, though. While we haven't gone through many characters, we still get to see the story of Eros and Psyche, Zeus and Semele (Dionysus mother), and many others. The characterization of the various gods is a great combination of myth accuracy, modern revitalization, and serialization. I think Rachel understands that the reason why the Greek gods are so popular is simply that they're so fucked up we can't help but not watch their downward spirals through struggles that now seem all too familiar to real life. 

Finally, Lore does an excellent job of using its setting to express various themes. Through the mystical Underworld, we see the burdens that fame, self-loathing, and arrogance can have on a person, and it is very clear to show exactly what a toxic relationship looks like and doesn't hold back so be warned. While this does make the story a little more dramatic and serious for younger viewers it also goes to show you what love truly is, for both yourself and other people. 


    Epilogue


    Lore Olympus is easily one of the best romances I've ever read, and I want to continue reading. I also hope it gets a lot of light shown its way when it's new confirmed Ya animated series gets greenlit. But now it is time to shine a light on a different story.

Just a simple person is trying to shine a little light on the beautiful world of webtoon. With a splash of sarcasm, narration, and spitfire along the way.  And who knows I might have other segments just for the hell of it.

And now poor Emily's heart might get broken by Dr. Heartbreaker...
