No one has ever survived Adam's final attack as you have. It was impressive, to say the least. So for that matter, you will be sleeping with me tonight." She slightly blushes, her pale cheek dimples become a rosy color

"But don't you dare get the wrong idea! Pipsqueak! I am only doing this keep a close eye on you!" Cinder coils her tongue and pursed her glossy pink lips as goes to the bathroom. "I will be taking a shower. The stench of your filthy hands still lingers around my body. Hmph." She slammed the wooden bathroom door as hard as possible.

I mean who wouldn't want to be a badass titan-sized snow wolf who could crumble mountains into dust. You know what... I have a better idea...  Hey, dark system is there any way I can fuse two mystical beasts?"  

[You are truly a foolish and lost boy searching for power. I cannot always grant you wishes like some genie from a magical lamp] The God of Darkness speaks in a loud thundering voice. A large blackish and purplish Chinese Dragon flys around Shadow's mindscape, its dark eyes were glowing.

"You are correct about the shape shifter part, but ware wolves don't phase under a full moon. They change at will, and they most certainly don't eat human hearts. They protect humans." I stared at Jake, why was he saying all this? 

"So, what does this have to do with Katie?"

"Well, I'm getting there, but first I need you to be open minded, okay?" Jake was being so cautious. 

"Jake you're stalling, can you please get to the point?" I asked desperately. 

"Noah, you and I, both descended from shape shifting ware wolves. Both our grand fathers were descendants from native Americans. The Quileute Indians had magic in them. They could shape shift into ware wolves."

"So does that mean..." I couldn't form the words. 

"We are ware wolves" Jake concluded. 

I stood there, motionless, unable to comprehend what I was being told. 

"So, where does Katie come in here?" My hands clenched at my sides.

"The ware wolf gene gets triggered when other mythical creatures are near, and It is very easy for mythical creatures to sense each other. Just by being in the same room, the scent makes them very obvious. Ware wolves can sense witches by feeling the power radiating off of them." Jake paused, unsure if he should go on. I gave him an encouraging look. 

"We can also sense vampires, by the metallic scent of the blood they drink. We can recognize that scent as soon as they step within a ten mile radius. Their skin is smooth as marble, hard as rock, and cold as ice." That was it, the last sentence started to put things together. 

"I sensed the same scent as soon as Katie entered the room. I disregarded it, thinking that it might just be some other foul scent, but when I shook her hand, I felt the immense coldness of her skin. That put it all together for me, and I kew that she is a vampire." Jacob stood cautiously with his hands up, as if he may need to catch me. Did I look that miserable?

"Katie is a vampire? So are you a ware wolf?"

"Yes, I have a already phased a few times"

We stood in silence. 

"You have more questions" Jake read right through expression. 

"Yes. How exactly does this phasing thing work?" 

Jake smiled. 

"To phase you need some big emotion to consume you. Something that pushes you to the edge. It doesn't happen forcibly."

"Ok, well what about Katie, what do I tell her?"

Jake's expression hardened. 

"Noah, I don't know how strong she is, so I advise you, do NOT speak to her about this. Don't do or say anything that gives her even the slightest hint that you may know something."

"She really can't be, dangerous. She just asked me to the dance, and she is so kind." i said, with certainty in my voice. 

"Vampires are our mortal enemies. She already knows that I'm a ware wolf. She might try to lure you out and kill you. You need to be very smart and attentive."

Suddenly, my certainty changed to fear. Jacob noticed. His hand came up to my shoulder to comfort me. 

"Don't worry, Noah. I won't let anything happen to you. I will always keep an eye on her every move. No need to be scared, and anyways, you will soon turn into a ware wolf yourself. I wonder what color wolf you will be with your blond, spiky hair, and your pale skin. You'd definitely make a muscular one, because you already have some in your gangly body." This is a fan-fiction of Twilight and TVD. There are characters from each story and there are some of my own additions. Please comment on each chapter to let me know how can I make these chapters more enjoyable. This is purely for entertainment and I hope you enjoy.

This Book alternates between a male and female POV

The government of the U.S.A was in a grim situation. At the moment they were dealing with a dangerous virus and a frightening war. This war was with super weapons the Chinese had created, called the super humans. These "humans" were hybrids of animals and the DNA of a creature the Chinese called a "true demon". 

The USA were studying these creatures, trying to find a way to make more upgraded versions of them. Well scientist found out how to create more of them but the downside to this is that they had to use actual humans. Of course no one wanted to become a mindless beast so the government used a orphan baby. They had to wait for the baby to fully grow but they still used the DNA they had got from there studying. 

They used the DNA of a wolf and of course the DNA of the true demon. When they had given the baby the DNA, at first nothing happened, but after a while the baby started to twist, turn, and cry in agony. The baby then abruptly stopped. Then the baby started to grow black wolf ears and a tail and tiny black feathered wings. To say the scientist were shocked and amazed would be an understatement. 

Within a couple of weeks the scientist had everything that they needed to not only study the child but to also train her. There was a lab, a training room, and the child's own room. The building the scientist were in was in the woods completely out of sights of any civilization. The government learned from the area 51 raid.

The scientist learned that they could only make one super human because the Chinese had found out that they were making super humans as well. They had rigged the super humans so that if they were ever caught they would commit suicide. So the scientist experimented with the girl's DNA so they could make her a lot more stronger. They had succeeded with this. They had made a hybrid of a wolf, demon, human, and two other mythical creatures, a true vampire and a true witch. These creatures were found very deep underground in a mythical cave. These creatures are also being studied on.

Time skip! three years!

In a white room with a steel table with steel chains, was a black haired girl with wolf ears and a tail and black feathered wings. The girl was on the steel operating table with the chains on her wrists and ankles. The girl had no emotions in her eyes, she was emotionless, this was her normal. Everyday is the same, testing, training, and eating, that's all she ever does. Just as the girl was thinking this, in walked a tall dark haired man in a doctor's uniform. 

The man: "Alright today's testing is going to be a bit different. We're going to..."open" you up today to see how your immortality works." The man said looking nervous and guilty.

The girl simply nodded, she wondered why the man even asked, she could not speak. She was never taught how to because the "boss" said it was useless. The "boss" was the man who was sponsoring and also running this study. A wealthy pig looking to get even more money, that is all he is.

After the man had told the girl about the testing more doctors came in. They had brought the utensils to do the testing. One of which was a bone saw, yes a BONE SAW! The girl was frightened! She did not know what to expect but she did not expect for them to actually "open" her up! The girl started to jerk back and forth trying to get out. But to no avail, the doctors saw this and had put more steel chains around the girl. The chains had stopped her. She could not move. Fear quickly kicked in.

The girl's thoughts: (Why!? Why are they doing this to me!? What have I done to make them torture me like this!? Is it because I'm different!?)

The girl started crying and shutting herself down, when the doctors started "opening" the girl's stomach up. The girl screamed in anguish. The girl's screams could be heard through out the lab. But no one had batted an eye
they did not care, they just had to do there job and they would get paid. They did not have to worry about being arrested. Just do your job and keep silent about this, that is all they had to do, nothing more.

After the girl's testing she was sent back to her room, which was very plain. Just a white room with a bed and a bathroom. No decorations, nothing. After the girl was carried to her room she went straight to the bathroom to take a shower. When the girl looked in the mirror she saw, what most people would call an adorable angel, was a girl with black hair with wolf ears, tail, and wings, with mesmerizing two different color eyes, right scarlet red while left gold amber. She has a small body with a cute face with sharp fangs pointing out of her mouth, which in all honesty makes her more cute.

When in the shower the girl clearly saw a lot of blood coming from her wounds. But right when she noticed the wounds were already healed. The girl did not care. She knew she was immortal. It did not bother her. She did not KNOW how to care. How should she react? What was a normal reaction? She had barely any emotions. The only ones she had was fear and hate. She felt them a lot so she learned them quickly. She had been through a lot.

After the girl got out of the shower she was immediately called for. In came a red haired buff man. He was to train the girl in hand to hand combat and other things. When the girl saw the man she immediately felt fear and hate towards the man. The man had seen this. He smirked and said.

The red haired man: "Hey~ I won't do anything to you today, baby~ I just want to see how far you have come in your training. And if you listen and behave maybe I'll be kind enough to make you feel good~" The man said while grinning like a fool.

The girl couldn't do anything the man had grabbed her by the arms and held her down on the bed. The man began to strip her and himself. He had began to thrust "it" in and out of the girl and he also started to lick the girl's body. The girl was in despair. What could she possibly do against a man twice her size? Nothing. Nothing but despair. That's all she could do.

After the man had done this he grabbed the girl and headed for the training room. The girl was still shut down. She did not have any emotions in her eyes. She was dead inside. She wanted to end her life so many times. But she never got her hand on any thing that could fulfill her wish. Nothing could. Because she is immortal.

The girl: "Why can't all this just end?"


                            "Why me?"

This is a novel about a girl named Akame Vermillion or what government officials call her, Fenrir. Akame is a government super weapon, she is a hybrid of a human, wolf, and the DNA of other things that scientist found within the Earth. She is designed for war and nothing else...or so they thought.

Proud, arrogant and selfish.
Those who think that they have super-efficient brain and body. That they are the most supreme of all creatures.
The humans thought that they were at the top of the food chain.
What happens when they come to know that they're not?
No one ever thought that the mythical creatures that everyone thought to have been only fictional characters created in stories by old, loony people to scare children. No one ever foresaw that they would reveal themselves.
No one saw it coming.
𝕐𝕖𝕒𝕣 𝟚𝟜𝟘𝟘-
After hundreds of years of fighting and losses beyond compare, the white flag was raised and an alliance for unity and peace formed.
Easier said than done.
But behind this superficial screen of peace hide evil intentions, burning hatred and rebellious psychopaths.
As vampires, humans and werewolves struggle to co-exist harmoniously, a new virus starts threatening to wipe out werewolves from existence or at least the wolf inside them.
Something more poisonous than wolfsbane, deadlier than silver.
What is it?
The alpha king searches for the most brilliant scientist who is not only the best in her generation but also surpasses her predecessors.
They turn out to be mates. But what happens when the cold alpha finds someone who can be colder than him? Well this man is good at anything and everything he does and he refuses to be rejected.

Thus the story proceeds with a possessive alpha clinging to his woman who is colder than the coldest iceberg and has the emotional range of about a drop as they work together to save the werewolves from losing what makes them a werewolf in the first place-their inner wolf!

Writing Prompt 139-
In the year 2400, vampires, humans and werewolves are all struggling to live together peacefully. However, a new virus starts threatening to wipe out werewolves. The handsome Alpha King comes to seek out the female lead, who is the most brilliant scientist in her country. Can she invent a vaccine that will save his people in time?

The wolf ran, stamping its claws into the soft ground as it drooled on. Its eyes were locked on the persons before its eyes and it was aiming to ram into them directly.  The eyes also began to turn reddish as its hairs stood out into prickles and thorns. This was the attribute that gave it the name 'Prickled Bane Winged Wolf.'
"Come" Maerius said . He was in front of the triangle now, feeling for the hilt of his blade. Once the beast got within radius, he would slash once and that once would be the kill. 
Steeling his eyes now, he drew his left leg forward while his fingers played at the hilt of his blade.
"3rd Prime, pa da.(12) awon irunmole e pa da. Leave it be. A Prickled wolf does not attack just like that." The Elder said with calm assurance, calling to Maerius to fall back. 
Seeing this, the wolf charged. And then it leapt, springing itself forward as its open jaws began closing onto Sunday's head. 

Sunday watched with calm eyes too. He saw the wolf leaping at him. 
He saw the irunmole's falling back. 
He had thought The Elder wanted to take on this Rare Classed Beast by himself alone.
But then, a second thought crossed his mind. The elder saw him as a child. Taking down this beast  that was powerful enough to send shivers down the spines of elite Irunmole's would prove that he really was no child.
Yes, this was his way of outrightly shaming his father. By taking down this beast, he would be able to rival Elites or even Alpha Irunmoles. By then, The elder would come to respect him.
Yes, he would respect him.
Sunday ground his teeth as a burst of energy was expelled from his body, spreading his aura into the air. He clenched his fists now. Waiting. 
Time seemed to move slowly. Seconds ticked and ticked. The wolf drew nearer and nearer. To any one around, one would think he was attempting suicide. 
But he didn't care about that. 
'Elder has made no move now. It looks like he wants me to prove myself. I'll show you, father. I'll show all of you'

The elder  looked with steady eyes at the freckled wolf that had just sprung out from the forest to attack. 
He was taking Sunday to Ilu Ifa to divine his future and to know what next step to take. Ifa was the Orisha of divination and going to that ilu meant he was going to the realm of prophet Irunmoles who could properly ascertain the future of his son. 
He loved Sunday so much. And he didn't want to lose him.
 That's why he ventured out on this journey. 
At Ifa place, they could find solutions to expel the shadows creeping into his life, as prophesied by that seer.
But he wasn't sure.
 So far, he had been protective of Sunday so he could say confidently  that the seer was wrong. But… No… She can't be wrong.
A prickled bane winged wolf was a Rare class Beast that was drawn to fated beings. Its appearance here was no mistake. 
In Orun, there were demons present. Though not in Orun rere  but in a section reserved for them called Orun Apaadi.  
Orun Apaadi was another realm where beastly creatures roamed also, aside from demons. Originally, It had being created as the garden for Eledumare where he created several creatures, mighty and strong. Creatures with untold strength.
However after the great rebellion, Eledumare was pained and then swore by himself never to create any other beings with high power levels. That was when Obatala was created. The demons who had fled to Apaadi had also contaminated the beasts making them dark and vile.  
But for the sake of thefact that the Beasts were his secondary conscious creations after Olosi, he refused to erase them from existence. Instead, he sealed them up in Orun Apaadi .
Seeing a beast here in Orun Emi Ogun was not meant to be. Especially A rare classed beast.
There were three classes of beasts in Orun Apaadi. Common beasts, Rare and Mythical beasts.
Common beasts were beasts that bore similarities to creatures on planets earth. For example, the  10ft golden lion. Because of that, they were the most common creatures in Orun Apaadi.  Mythical beats were beasts that had infused so much darkness as a result of interactions with demons. This fusion with darkness had made them the most powerful beast class, capable of taking down dozens of Primes.
On the other hand, rare beasts were drawn to fated beings and appeared mostly when a being was tampering with fate. They were a sign that something was wrong somewhere.
The prickled wolf appearing here, far away from Orun Apaadi meant something was definitely wrong. 
Already the guard Irunmoles had formed a defensive triangle  around himself and Sunday. He watched as Maerius walked with unshaking confidence to the front of the triangle as he felt for the hilt of his balde.
Maerius had not even know the  full capabilities of a this prickled bane winged wolf and he was already standing so confident, preparing to strike at it.
So Arrogant! He exclaimed. 
 In a way, he liked Maerius's cocky arrogance. Rare classed beasts were creatures that one could never know the true extent of their powers unless they used them.
 Unlike the other classes of beats where  soul gazing  could give you an understanding of it capabilities. However, only a few Irunmoles could soul gaze. 
'No, if Maerius gets in the way of this beast, I may never truly know who it is that drew the beast to us. It is drawn by fate so it will only attack what  or who is causing imbalance in fate.' 
"3rd Prime, pa da. awon irunmole e pa da. Leave it be. A Prickled wolf does not attack just like that."He ordered, watching as them fall back.
All except Sunday. His eyes widened. 
'No, it cant be. It can't be Sunday. It has to be someone else. Oh Orisha Obatala, let it be someone else'

The Wolf leapt up, closing the distance between itself and the irunmoles as it bared its fangs ready to clamp down on flesh.
 It saw the Irunmole fall back but didn't seem bothered at all. It seemed to the beast that they were retreating except one.
One young Irunmole. An easy meal.
It closed its jaws now on Sunday's head. 
But Sunday was faster. 
Quickly, he pushed his weight to his right foot, bending in the process and avoiding the wolf's jaws by mere inches. 
He had just a second to react. A second later meant he was done for. From what he had known, Rare Classed beasts were extremely fast.
 It was now or never. 
Sunday channeled all of his energy into his Right arm, making it glow brighter than the other arm. His face went pale as a result of the energy he was pulling on. 
Then he adjusted to the left, Firing his  glowing fist into the massive cheek of the wolf, throwing it off momentum, into the air. 
AWUULLL… The wolf whined as it crashed into trees, slipping down into the bushes below. It lay there stunned. 
It had not expected that amount of force.

Once Sunday realized this, he knew it was his chance. 
He felt drained, as his aura became increasingly aggressive. This was a result of the damage he dealt out. Auras of irunmoles fluctuated according to damage received and dealt out. Now his aura increased greatly, steadily shipping at his energy.
He wanted to stay back and relax a bit. After all, the wolf was stunned. For 3 seconds now, it was down there, dazed. He could just do that but wanting to stay back to replenish his energy was signing his death contract.
His feet blurred now, as his hands were flung back and body lunging out. He arrived at the head of the wolf in a second. 
Already, the wolf had begun to stir. 
POW!
His fist dug into the head of the wolf spending beams of light across. 
The wolf whined now. 
It seemed too easy. Too easy?  He almost drained himself out, dealing his first damage to the wolf. That wasn't too easy. And besides, it was Rare classed. 
For him to stun a Rare classed beast... 
That was a feat applaudable. 'Father would respect me now' He smirked. 
But it  was rare classed…
"Aaargghh…" He screamed, pain tearing through his whole nerves as teeth dug into his legs."
"No…" 
The wolf had bit into his legs and was attempting to gobble him up from beneath. 
He had to do something. He could not show weakness. 
Clenching his fists, Sunday yelled in fervent rage now. He raised his two hands up into fist. Light shone through the fist and symbols flashed about hands. 
"IMOLE MO…"(13) The light shining at his hands suddenly morphed into short double ended daggers.
The daggers in turn glowed sharp yellow as heat spread through his hands. He wasted no time. Any time wasted, he could be gone.  He slammed into the snout of the wolf with unchained fervor. 
The wolf stopped swallowing for a spilt second. 
Then, it rose up so fast that Sunday did not even know when he was spat out. His head hit the rocks as he landed sending sharp jolts of pain coursing through his body. The wolf was angered already. It howled loudly as its aura burst out, uprooting the trees around him. 
It was enraged.
"No… I am going in, Elder." Maerius muttered, drawing his blade.  He pushed himself forward but felt a resistance at his chest, limiting him.
It was the Elder who used his staff to block his motion.
"You go, when I say you go, Maerius"
"It is a rare classed beast. For Eledumare's sake, you saw the extent of its aura. He… Cannot.. Handle… It…" Maerius said, pointing at the wolf.
The wolf had already puffed its mane, making its hairs stand all straight as it raised his wings.
"I know. That's what I am counting on" Elder said, maintaining a forward gaze.
"No. You can't be serious" Maerius' eyes widened, realized what The Elder meant. "HE  IS YOUR SON… YO…" 
Maerius couldn't complete his statement. A force of concussion hit him clearing himself and the guards off the ground.
The elder was faster though. He had exerted his aura out absorbing some of the concussion wind but even at that, the elder staggered backwards for 10 meters.  From the corner of Maerius' eyes, he saw that the wolf had flapped its wings, attacking them with strong winds. 
AWUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLL!!! The wolf howled at them, attacking with sonic booms.
Maerius was deafened. He was trying to gain a footing of himself when the sonic boom hit him hard, unsettling his attempt. He saw that the elder couldn't deflect the attack this time as he too tumbled in the air. 
But he knew the elder  and even the other elites with him would be okay soon enough.
He was worried about Sunday. Sunday was a D ranked  Irunmole, the weakest with them now. How was he holding up? .

Hey, guys, I am so pleased to be dropping another chapter of trailing shadows. I actually was going to post it yesterday. Its Thursday now. But yesterday was my birthday so I used all that time to chill out.
But, no more birthdays for more. I mean, you only celebrate your birthdays once, right? So, I would be posting regularly. Except  when the ASUU strike is called off.
ASUU strike put all universities in Nigeria on hold. If its called off soon enough, it will affect my regular update. Because the university would be trying to rush us up and aaiiiieee, I am but a fresher.
Imagine how that would tell on 'very aspect of my life. I might even have to take a leave from Comican Arts during that time.
That's if the strike is over this month. Which I hope not,  so that I will be able to finish up volume 1 of this book. I tell you, By then, you would love this book. 
Because, I am going indepth into all the various sections of Yoruba myth that has been forgotten. Although, I add my own touches to the book but its still original material. XD
And I want to start writing another book. Its 100% sci-fi. I don't know if to call it Transmigration themed too. Because, it is all about a hardcore gamer who imagines himself in the game he plays and ends up realizing that his Imaginations are real. 
If I write it, would you read?
