Almost everyone believed that Jiang Liushi was doomed to die, however, Jiang Liushi shot the mutant zombie with the AMR-2 sniper rifle. Seeing flames spraying out, everyone was shocked because that bullet penetrated the steel plate again but still did not hit the mutant zombie.
That zombie’s speed was extremely fast and when it moved, it seemed like meteorites dropped on the ground because of its weight. Then it looked up, and in the middle of those zombies, Jiang Liushi was staring at it. Its appearance wasn’t any different than the other zombies except for its eyes. When it looked at Jiang Liushi, it seemed that it was looking at a piece of raw meat. In other words, it was sternly cool and unmoved. After all, it was just a zombie.
Jiang Liushi was on high alert as he knew how dangerous it was. At the same time, the mutant zombie had the same reaction. It wanted to quickly disappear in amongst its minions. However, it was too late. Jiang Liushi didn’t give it any chance to hide anymore.
"Ran Xiyu, its location!" Jiang Liushi asked urgently. Ran Xiyu immediately ran to the cab, while tracking through the mental outlook, and pointed out its location.
Ying stepped on the gas, driving the minibus into the woods with the collision ram flashing cold in front of it. Under the impact of countless bullets and zombies, many trees had fallen. But what scared them were not those trees but the dark environment further ahead because no one knew how many zombies were still hiding inside.
Not to mention that the mutant zombie hid inside, so who’d dare to go?
Jiang Liushi dared!
It was a rare opportunity and he was determined to kill the terrible mutant zombie. Although it was intelligent, it was just a zombie. Actually, that scene was seen by Hawkeye, Zhang Jing, and several other people holding binoculars. That mutant zombie stepped forward, and then suddenly stopped. It became a headless zombie quietly standing. And the tip of that sniper rifle was still exuding grey smoke.


Doomsday was approaching...

Bullets were fired out one after another, each and every gun aimed towards the heads of the zombie horde. They were excitedly killing the zombies, but then they saw the two Mutant Zombie Bosses.


Shocked seeing such a monster, one of the soldiers then shouted, "What is that!?", this caused the blonde woman's expression to turn solemn. She then aimed her omen recon sniper rifle and aimed towards the giant zombie. With a red flaring light coming out of the barrel, she pulled the trigger. The bullet flew faster than an ordinary bullet and arrived in just a couple of milliseconds!


The bullet reached the Mutant Zombie Boss and made a slight burn on it causing it to roar. It then looked angrily towards the blonde-haired woman.


The mutant zombie that she hit was the one that Mark shot two times with the Enlaim. After getting shot by the blonde-haired woman with the flying bullet, it then shined lightly. Unexpectedly so, it even smiled. This shocked the woman, 'a zombie can smile?', she thought in her head.


Lance, on the other hand, seeing the Mutant Boss Zombie shine, looked at the exhausted Mark with anxious eyes, " Mark, it's changed, it's no longer a Mutant Zombie Boss but a Mutant Zombie Knight!"


Mark then, looked at Lance confused with weary eyes, "Mutant Zombie Knight?", Lance then nodded as he said, " Yeah, it's evolution, it evolved from a Mutant Zombie Boss to Mutant Zombie Knight."


"No one knows this, but zombies can evolve. A normal zombie can evolve to either a mutant zombie or a zombie citizen. Mutant zombies and zombie citizens have different evolution, with the former stronger."


Mark then, as if understanding nodded. He then looked towards the previous Mutant Zombie Boss. As he stared at it, a sudden light appeared upon his eyes, and with a solemn expression, he looked at Lance and said, "Lance, I need you to use this spell on me."

Now the blonde woman's face was very dark, her cold eyes stared towards the giant zombie that now grew even bigger than before. Previously, it couldn't even dodge the bullet that the blonde woman shot, now it didn't even dodge it, it caught it.


The Mutant Zombie Knight then grinned evil as it shot out the bullets that were shot to him towards the men and women at the frontlines and killed them. This angered the blonde woman to a whole new level, but she could do nothing about it.


As the blonde woman was about to shoot, she heard a gunshot, she then stared at the place on where it came from and saw Mark. Her eyes then widened as if seeing someone familiar, she then shouted, "I know you!"


Mark paid no heed as he looked towards the Mutant Zombie Knight with killing intent, the giant zombie then turned towards Mark as it aimed the one bullet it had left towards Mark. It then grinned widely and shot the bullet using its hand.


Mark just stared at it whilst saying, "Giurantes", and shot the bullet. Unexpectedly, it clashed with the bullet that the giant zombie shot and caused an uproar. The blonde woman looked at him with shock in her face, 'That accuracy! it's certainly him!'.


Mark then aimed towards the eye of the Mutant Zombie Knight whilst saying, "Piercus! Enlaim Srarel!", with a slight pull, the bullet flew towards the giant zombie. It then felt danger from the bullet and tried to block it with its one remaining hand. However, the results were bad for it. The hand that the giant zombie used to block the bullet exploded, leaving it with no hands left.


It then screeched in pain as it looked at Mark with hatred in its eyes. Mark then commanded the blonde woman, " Tell your soldiers to continue shooting the zombies, and you shoot the other giant zombie over there."


Hearing that command, the blonde woman nodded. She felt that the grey-haired man knew what he was doing and proceeded to command the soldiers on her side.


They then started to massacre the zombies and the forces of the zombies became thinner and thinner. The blonde woman then aimed towards the Mutant Zombie Boss, or the "Giant Zombie", is what they love to call it, with the flaming bullets.


It didn't suffer a lot since she hit it in the eyes and in just a span of a few minutes, it fell down to the ground, dead, smashing some of the zombies behind it.


Mark then got serious as he aimed towards the eyes of the Mutant Zombie Knight as he ran around. Mark then pulled the trigger whilst shouting, " Ingail! Piercus Enlaim Srarel!", and light spew out of the barrel of the gun Mark was holding.


The light then turned into pure white light as he pulled the trigger and was sent towards the Mutant Zombie Knight. The Mutant Zombie Knight then flared as dark miasma came from it, it then murmured in its breath slowly, "Sratran Diabricus"


The bullet that was completely shining and the black miasma collided and was stuck in midair. Mark then gritted his teeth as he shot once again, "Ingail! Piercus Enlaim Srarel!", blood then flowed from his mouth as the bullet was sent out.


The Mutant Zombie Knight's eyes then showed panic the black miasma slowly dispersed. Seeing that it still had time to dodge, it tried to, but then, it didn't realize that the miasma has already disintegrated and its head was pierced by the two bullets. It then fell down to the ground.


Mark then vomited blood as he collapsed unto the ground and the blonde woman carried him towards the gate, the soldiers also followed as they went inside this fortress type of city.

Earlier. Lance then looked at Mark with a solemn expression. He then said, " I can use this spell to you Mark, but after I use this spell, you can only use three spells, if you exceed that, you'll be more than exhausted, you'll be heavily injured."



Mark just nodded as he said, "I know, do it, if we're a bit late, they'll die. If I'm not extremely weak this time, I wouldn't have to resort to this."


Lance then just nodded as he placed his palm on Mark's forehead and chanted, "Dialente, Reisteria, Iampliar!", His hand then glowed as Mark's body also glowed in a similar fashion emitting a yellow light.


As if he was no longer exhausted, Mark stood up with shining eyes. He then walked towards the gate and asked the soldiers to open it for him and walked out as he pulled the trigger on his gun.

Mark slowly opened his eyes as pain spread throughout his whole body. He then saw a black-haired woman with quite a peculiar eye color, a mixture of red and orange and she had a mole under her eye that made her look even more stunning. She then looked at Mark who was waking up and grinned like a badass woman.


Mark then at down as he rubbed his eyes whilst looking at the black-haired woman. He saw that she had two buttons on her military uniform open which exposed some of her bountiful tits. And what's more, she didn't wear anything underneath 


She saw Mark staring at her intently and laughed, she then said, "Hello, Lieutenant Colonel, Mark Creed, I'm Charlotte Jäger, nice to meet you."


Mark then knew who she was, "You're the top Combat Medic huh?", As soon as the black-haired woman, no, Charlotte, heard that, she laughed loudly saying, " Yeah."


Before they could continue their conversation, someone barged in. It was a brown-haired woman with red eyes that could cause someone who stared at it to feel the abyss. Mark then said surprised, "Lieutenant Colonel Irina Yahontov", but before he could continue he was shocked by what she did.

As the morning rises, the world is starting to crumble as some man-eating man rose from the shadows.

Humanity started to come to extinction and death is everywhere. The apocalypse has come, death is inevitable. All you could do now is to fight for your life, you must plunder and kill to survive.

    "Am I dreaming? Who is that new girl?" Rodner asked.
    "She is Christine, my friend before." Loraine explained.
    "Hey." 
    "Where did she came from? How did she entered our place?"
    "We let her in." 
    "Don't tell anyone." 
    "How did you survive the place outside?"
    Rodner seems is curious about the girl that she asked a lot of questions. Christine on the other hand, is fine satisfying those curiosity. She thought for a while before answering.
    "It started when I was in school with my classmates, I was watching some videos when suddenly we heard screaming on the 1st floor. I checked it myself to prove to my classmates that I'am brave when a zombie appeared in my sight. It is devouring a teacher. I grab my laser gun when suddenly a teacher grab my hand and asked for where I got the gun. I told her to stop. The zombie heard her voice. I aim for the head of the zombie but I can't shoot it. The zombie pushed me into the wall leaving me a little bit dizzy. The zombie got close to me when I grab the gun and shoot it leaving it beheaded. I ran as fast as I could. I didn't notice that I'am running outside of our school. Then something hit me. A survivor. Her name is Rias. She hit me with a wood. She said that she needs to do that because my steps are attracting the zombies. We survived for a few days when a mutant zombie attack us. It is a huge zombie. We all got separated after that. I didn't know if Rias is still alive by now. In the end, I wandered in this secured school." 
    Christine somehow looks down. Well I can't blame her after what happened. But now, there's this mutant zombie that bothers me. Did the monsters just evolved
    "Just how big is this 'mutant zombie'?"
    I asked in curiosity. Christine the started to think carefully. It seems like she doesn't remember it too much. 
    "Never mind. Don't take answer it for now... Have a rest first."
    "Yeah..."
    Me, Ahllen and Rodner went back to our rooms. We then decided to discuss what to do at this point. 
    "So... If this mutant zombie is really huge, do you think there's a way to kill it?"
    Ahllen started to conversation. Rodner then shared his thoughts to us while I happened to do the same thing after. It was almost an hour passed when we decided to call it a day. 
    "We talked a lot today huh. It's already dark outside."
    "Yeah. Maybe we should rest now?"
    Suddenly, a smashing noise can be heard from afar. It seems like it came from one of the corners of our school. 
    "What was that?" 
    "Maybe it was the mutant zombie!"
    I went to the hallway of the building to check on what's happening. Smoke is blocking my view. It's hard to look but I could feel something enormous. 
    Slowly, the smoke faded. I felt scared and nervous upon seeing it. Indeed, it was really the mutant zombie. The words fit in it's appearance. It was as huge as a lamp post. Besides it's size, it also has a huge improvement in its muscular system. It's body just looks like a body building person. 
    The mutant zombie managed to get in. Just how did it evolved in a few days? What should we do now? Is this the end for us?
    "That looks like the one that attacked us!"
    "Let's go down the school grounds! Staying in a high building is dangerous for us now!"
    We went down the staircase. Some students followed us and it's another complete chaos. Fear envelops us. 
    I started to look around to find some scattered weapon. I saw some sort of rifle with a weird look. It came from one of the smashed guards. 
    I run towards the gun to help the guards. They were trying to hold off the mutant zombie. The laser doesn't affect it. Is there even a weakness for it?
    I held my breath and stopped for a second. I decided to aim at the mutant zombie. When I was about pull the trigger, someone shouted.
    "Aim for the chest!" 
    I was shocked but, I don't have a choice but to try. I aimed at the chest and pulled the trigger. 
    The rifle that I'm using somehow looks different from the others. In my surprise, it uses a metal bullets. I guess there's still some guns that haven't been affected by the modernization.
    The mutant zombie stopped moving. Slowly, it knelt on the ground in pain. Finally, it lay on the ground.
    Blood flooded the surroundings of the zombie. The metal barricade that protects us from the outside world has been smashed through. Zombies would keep on coming. 
    I went forward to the broken part of the metal. It was a peaceful world outside. No smokes, fire or anything weird. Except, there are zombies that lurking around. 
    I grabbed my laser pistol as I can't control the rifle's force too much. I started shooting together with the guards to hold the zombies off. 
    "Barricade the opening!"
    Someone shouted. It wasn't that long when guards carrying a huge metal came by. They started placing the metal and burned the end part to stick it on the main wall. 
    It was already night time when we finished. It was an exhausting day. I killed a lot of those monsters. I ended up wasting all the bullets, grabbed a wood on the corner and started smashing some of them. 
    I was sitting here in the middle of the school ground in exhaustion. Some of the guards did the same thing as me. 
    I stood up and decided to went back to my room. On my way, I noticed the girl that has been helping us the whole time. She's skillful in the battle earlier. Everyone could see that.
    She has a long hair and in a pony tail. She's wearing some formal clothes which is a little bit weird. I went straight to her for helping me earlier on telling me where to shoot the mutant zombie. 
    "Thank you miss?"
    "Rias."
    She smiled.
