The time when she wanted to run away from this mansion she could somehow resonate the feeling of how the butler felt but her feelings had eventually changed. It wasn't because she fell in love with Damien or he fell in love with her, it was because Damien had helped her in ways she didn't know she would be able to go through it alone. When she had no one, not even her own blood who had given her up and wanted to kill her, he was there for her. 
Penelope had nothing to offer him but herself and he had taken her which she didn't mind. Instead, she was glad that he was the way he was since the very beginning. 
After wearing clothes, Penny had taken the dress to place in the cupboard neatly without letting it have too many folds. 
She sat on the bed now with a glass of water in her hand. It had been only a few hours since she had met the elemental bearer but Penny wanted to learn how to manipulate the energy quickly. Bringing the book close to her which spoke about the elements and how to start, she decided to go with water as it was something she could touch and see, unlike the wind which was hard to manifest. The wind bearer had moved his hand effortlessly to play with the wind but Penny could tell it wasn't easy. 
If she wasn't wrong, it was the most stubborn elements that were difficult to handle and manage. 
Like the wind element bearer said to her, he and the fire bearer didn't appear to the summons of the white witches, instead, they appeared when they felt like it randomly without a proper time or place. There wasn't much written about the elements but with the little amount that was written in the book, it was the most help she could use. She wondered if the earth or land element was the most helpful one out of the four of them as Sister Jera had learned to cultivate through the ability very quickly. 
She didn't know any white witches who had a dual element. White witches were rare, and the ones who possessed the ability never came to let anyone know that they existed. After conversing with the elemental bearer, Penny wondered if it was so because the white witches turned to black witches after they touched the forbidden magic. 
Sister Jera must be already informed about the use of the elemental ability as well as what would happen once a white witch with the element would touch the forbidden magic. The witch had already shown spottings of being a black witch which was in the initial stage. One more touch and she would turn to a black witch. 
Penny made a note to herself to write a letter to Father Antonio as well as Sister Jera to make sure they were doing well in health. 
Damien pulled out the chair from the corner of the room and placed it next to the bed so that he could see what Penny was going to do while also being able to monitor if it would trigger any traits of her having black witch blood running in her body. 
"Ready?" Damien asked her as she was still staring at the glass of water. 
Penny nodded her head. Raising her hand, she used the incantation that didn't have to be spoken about loud. It was written in the book how once a white witch was used to the ability, they wouldn't need any spells or concentration as it would be engraved into their souls. The ability would be like breathing which would come automatically when needed. 
She remembered the words of the wind bearer who had told her to believe was to become that thing they believed in. All she had to do was trust herself. 
She concentrated on the water which was in the glass. Staring hard at it while reciting the incantation to see nothing happen. 
"This is very hard," Penny frowned looking at the water that hadn't moved or caused a rippling effect. 
"Keep trying. Nothing comes at the first go. Didn't the book say it takes days to master it? Or was it weeks?" asked Damien who leaned back in the chair. 
"I must have drawn the short end of the stick," concentrating on getting it to work was impossible. She spent an hour more before she looked up the mirror on the ceiling of the bed. 
"It is good to see you frustrated like this after a long time," Damien commented to get a pointed look from Penny. 
"You enjoy seeing me torture."
"I thought we already established that fact," he gave her a smile to show off his fangs. The fangs didn't often show when he was speaking or smiling. 
"Did you notice your fangs?" Penny asked him, her heart dropped, "Your corruption is acting, isn't it?" 
Damien only stared at her with a smile, "Just a bit. Nothing bad so far,�� but there was a possibility of it turning bad later. Though Penny could purify the air and liquid, she couldn't remove the corruption from Damien's body and it was something that constantly worried her. 
"Does it hurt?" she asked him.
"Not at all. I am a second-generation vampire and it might be one of the reasons why my heart isn't completely corrupted like the others who turned to corrupted vampires or deranged vampires. My body is much more durable and I grew up with the corruption next to me, it cannot kill me, mouse," he assured her, seeing the concern in her green eyes. 
"If it hurts or if you feel anything strange, you will tell me right?" she asked him. She wanted to know what was going on with him the way he wanted to know what was going on with her. She wanted to be there for him, help him, and support him. 
Damien gave her a stare, a poker face with a smile, he said, "I will."
"Promise?" 
"Pinky promise," he responded back to her, "I feel like you have no trust at all when it comes to my words."
"Apologies, Master Damien. It must be that trickster face of yours that gives away," and it was the truth. Though they had been sharing a few things with each other, she wished he would speak about what was going on with his heart. 
Damien shook his head, his hair fluffing up slightly and she heard him say, 
"What can I say, this face is priceless. One should feel blessed if they see it," the narcissist vampire winked at her. 
Penny wondered how Damien turned out to be a narcist. The love he had for himself was truly admirable.

"Who touched you?" he asked, his eyes brooding down at her and when she didn't answer, his voice thundered in the room, "WHO?"

The butler who stood near the wall spoke shakily, "Sir, it was Mr. Reverale," Damien's face turned sour, his jaw ticking in anger he turned his face to the side where the butler stood behind.

"Bring the man here."

"N-now?" stuttered the butler. It was the time of night.

Damien who hadn't broken his eye contact with the girl in front of him, pushed his hand against the wall which now rested beside his beautiful girl's head. Turning his body, he first looked at his butler who had his head bowed. With great courage, the butler came to meet his Master's eyes, "Do you have any other better time? Or should it be after I wring your neck?" Damien asked calmly tilting his head. Not a second later, the butler ran out of the room to return back with Mr. Reverale after twenty minutes.

"Damien, are we having a late tea party?" Mr. Reverale came to greet but the master of the house had other plans. Spotting the knife that was stuck to the apple on the table, he reached for it to pull it out.

Just as Mr. Reverale went to exchange a handshake with him, Damien took hold of his hand to place it on the table. In one swift movement as if he were chopping onions, he chopped the four fingers of the man off his hand making him yelp and cry in pain.

"No one touches what is mine. I am sure this will remind you the next time you even think about touching her," sighed Damien as if he were tired of telling people to keep their dirty hands off his belongings.

To this Lord Damian immediately responded,"Ofcourse brother!We will soon give our parents a reason to be happy about."

As I was about to serve salad to Lord Nicholas, Lady Eugene intervened,"Nick doesn't prefer human food Mia.Human blood is his thing." She arched her eyebrows at him.

"I think I'll make an exception here.For the first time in so many years, I have come across such delicious aroma of human food.I think I want to try some." He looked at me pointedly while talking to Lady Eugene.

"Really?" Eugene raised her brows in surprise.Lord Damian, who was busy having his meal, gave no reaction.His expression emotionless as ever.

I had prepared most of the cuisines today.I loved inventing new recipes and they usually turned out well.I hesitantly served him some of the dishes.It was a surprise that Lord Nicholas, who always preferred blood to human food,had chosen to have human food today.

"I must admit that this food is very tasty Damian.Who has prepared them?" Nicholas asked.

"This is Mia.My new addition to the royal kitchen.She's Gabe's discovery.I am already looking forward to inviting all the high class humans for dinners." Lord Damian looked at me and gave me a smile.

"A pretty lady with a great gift in cooking.Where were you all this while?Damian's royal kitchen was in dire need of someone like you." Lord Nicholas winked at me.

"Don't trouble the poor girl Nick.She's not aware of your stupid tricks to grab everyone's attention.Spare her the trauma." Lady Eugene scolded her brother.

Lord Nicholas laughed,"Not my fault if ladies have a soft spot for me."

"I treat them well." He looked at me when he said the last line.

I gulped."Lord of Nightfall speaks too highly of me.I am just an amateur when it comes to cooking."

Lord Damian gave a twisted smile and spoke,"Why don't you go and help the Chef in the kitchen with other things Mia?I have to talk to my charming brother about some official things now.There are others here who could help with serving food."

Lord Nicholas chuckled. I inwardly relaxed and hastened towards the royal kitchen.I met Holly there.

"Doesn't Lord Nicholas look dreamy? Did you notice his eyes? They are blue!I love blue! They look as deep as the sea!I could drown in them." She blabbered on like a love struck teenager.

"Maybe!" replied Edith."But he is nothing as compared to Lord Damian.Those brown eyes, one could get intoxicated by just looking into them." She batted her eyelids dramatically.

I laughed.These girls were smitten by the lords.Not that I blamed them.They both were beauty personified.Suddenly Henry came over to us.

"Did you all notice the absence of Chief Advisor Gabe at the Welcome Ceremony?I have heard that he took too much blood of his new pet.What was her name?" He rubbed his chin while trying to recollect,"Oh yes!Lucinda.He somehow managed to stop himself and had to go hunting in the woods to control his blood lust.He was on the verge of losing his brand new pet.Poor Girl! I can only imagine her condition." He said.

My heart skipped a beat.Suddenly I grew very worried about Lucinda.I mentally scolded myself for forgetting all about her.

"How is Lucinda now?" I asked.

"I heard that she's lying unconscious.She'll wake up soon."He replied.

After this little piece of information we all went back to work.Holly and Edith felt bad for Lucinda too.But it was something they had got used to.As far as I was concerned, I had made it a point to visit her tonight after dinner at every cost.

It was night time and everyone had retired to their rooms.I quickly got out of the dormitory.I had told my friends that I was going out  for some fresh air.I took a lantern in my hand and tip toed through the silent corridors until I reached Sir Gabe's room.

The door was slightly opened.I peeked inside.To my horror, I saw Lucinda in Gabe's arms lying motionless and Gabe had his fangs into the skin of her neck.Blood was streaming through her body and Gabe looked nothing less than a monster.

I took a few steps back in terror and the lantern dropped from my hand, causing enormous sound in the quiet corridor.Suddenly Gabe stopped and looked at me through the slightly opened door.

Due to his vampire speed he was out of his room in a few seconds and grabbed my neck.I choked, trying to loosen his tight grip around my neck but I was no match for a vampire.He had a monstrous look on his face, his fangs elongated and dark veins visible under his eyes.His eyes flashed red.He looked hypnotized by blood lust.

Just when I was struggling, I felt him being pulled off me.I was glad to have my oxygen supply back and tried to steady myself.

"Gabe!" I heard Lord Nicholas' authoritative voice laced with anger.

His fangs were elongated and he came and stood in front of me in a protective stance.Gabe suddenly closed his eyes tightly, his fangs going back to their normal size.He now looked completely in control, a look of guilt on his face.

"I am so sorry Mia!I didn't mean to hurt you.I just couldn't control it." He tried to reach out to me but sensing my discomfort Lord Nicholas didn't allow him to come near.

"I think you need to go for now.I'll take her to her room." Lord Nicholas stated in finality.

Gabe looked at me guiltily once before retreating to his room.I was left alone with Lord Nicholas.

"You have a wonderful ability to fall into trouble every time love" He tilted his head and smiled slightly."Just a tip!Never go near a vampire when he's overpowered by blood lust." 

"I-I am s-sorry My Lord!I'll be careful." I spoke with my head low.

He chuckled."Let's get you to your room." He stated.

We walked together silently till the dormitory came into view.Lord Nicholas halted in front of the closed door.

"Go inside and take some rest Mia.I'll see you tomorrow." He gave me a mischievous smile and turned back in the other direction.

I opened the door and saw everyone was fast asleep.I heaved a sigh of relief as I was sure seeing me all tensed up would attract unwanted questions from my friends.I quickly got into my bed, my mind still shaken by what had happened just a moment ago.Lucinda's motionless body was still fresh in my mind.I shivered. Now I was more than ever concerned about her.I decided to meet her as soon as I could.

Damian's POV

"Gabe!Losing control is not befitting you." I spoke barely able to control my anger.

"I am sorry My Lord! Mia is like a friend.I didn't want to hurt her.She just happened to be at the wrong place in the wrong time." Gabe spoke with his head slightly low.

I had heard about the last night's incident through my butler Lance.He had witnessed Nicholas helping Mia.My brother!I closed my eyes for a brief moment in anger.He was getting on my nerves now.I knew he was here for a purpose and now he was using a poor, innocent girl to achieve his aim.What was she doing outside Gabe's room?

"Incidents like these can bring bad name to us in the Empire.I trust you to understand that." I stated.

"I will take care My Lord.Consider this as my first and last mistake." He said with renewed confidence.

"You may go now." I ordered.

Giving me a slight bow, he left the room.

Later in the day, I met Eugene.She looked quite excited.Bad news!

"Damian!I want to take Nick out on a tour to the city.Do I have permission?" She asked.

'Definitely Bad News!' I thought.

"Eugene, he knows the entire Empire.He used to come here before.Why would he want to re-visit the places he has already visited?" I tried to coax her.

She showed annoyance,"That was like a century ago.Things change brother!"

"Besides, I would love to go out and spend some quality time with my sister." I heard Nicholas, who entered the hall with a cocky smile.

"Alright!You may go." I replied.

Eugene hugged me in excitement.

"Take Gabe with you too." I stated.

Eugene frowned,"We don't need your officials keeping an eye on us Damian."

"He knows the city better than you do Gene." I replied.

She was unconvinced but a little bit of coaxing did the trick.

Dear Diary

Today was better than most, Mom and dad weren't fighting, it felt like the old days.

 Even though I was late to class because Gigi's brother ended up in hospital the night before, like seriously how can someone end up in hospital from jumping on a trampoline The teacher woke me up which I could say didn't end as badly as usual but he ended up with a black eye so whoops, landed myself in detention for the third time this week.

Gigi forced me to go shopping with her, why I let her drag me along I don't know. I should learn to say no, but I love her, and I don't have the heart to let her down. 

Saw Jake at school today, his friends don't like me probably because they're the popular people and I'm well... you know not popular. Back in eighth grade, I was until Annie winters decided I wasn't good enough to hang in her little posy anymore. So, I moved on and got new friends. Life couldn't be better, I have an amazing group of friends, a very sexy boyfriend and...

"Rosalie, get down here!" Mum yells from downstairs, I groan. "Now!"

I place my diary under my mattress and head down stair. "I'm coming, I'm coming. No need to yell." I mumble. My parents are already in the kitchen waiting for me. "Um, did I do something wrong?"

"We got a call from your history teacher today?" Oh no, great now I will get a lecture on why my parents think I'm failing class and how I shouldn't abuse teachers. Not my fault he was in my face.

"Oh" I mumble. She raises an eyebrow.

"Do you have any idea what it's about?" She glares at me, waiting for me to answer. "He said that you haven't been in class all week, today you walk in late and if that isn't bad enough, you fall asleep after five minutes and you assault him." Dad sits there shocked, not bothering to say anything.

"Do you have anything to say for yourself?" I look away. "You have nothing to say, nothing at all?"

"I didn't even assault him." I mumble. 

"Speak up Rose, I hate it when you mumble."

"It's not like I did it on purpose. I fell asleep, he woke me up and scared me, he scared me so and as I jumped up, I accidentally hit him on the head. It int like I meant to assault him."

She shoots another glare at me. "Why did you fall asleep? Is it drugs or are you sneaking out at night to meet up with a boyfriend?"

"Mum, I would never do that stuff and I would tell you if I had a boyfriend."

"No, I don't, you don't talk to us about anything. You are skipping classes and your grades are going down, for all we know you might be on drugs. Are you going to tell us what's going on?"

"No, everything's fine." I walk upstairs.

"Come back here, your father still has something to talk to you about, don't you mike?"

"Oh, you right. Rose your mother and I think it would be best if you were to go away for a while."

"What do you mean?"

"We are, um..."

"Oh, for God's sake, Mike. Rose, we're sending you to boarding school in Europe,"

"What!"

"Oh, for Gods sakes Rose, stop telling."

"Mum you cannot be serious, I can't move, all my friends are here, Gigi is here."

"I am very much serious, you must go. I'm sure that Giannina will be fine besides you will get to make new friends."

"No, I won't Mum. I won't go!"

"You have to." She hisses.

"Why?"

"It's for the best."

"What's that supposed to mean? Is this your way of saying that your kicking me out? Just because I messed up once, I'm sorry it won't happen again."

"leave it Rosa. You're going, there's no point arguing about it," Both my parents yell. I shrug my shoulders.

"Whatever, I'm going for a shower."

They had to be kidding, boarding school? I sigh, relaxing into the hot water. How was I going to tell this to Gigi? She will be so pissed and what about Jake, I only just started going out with him and long distance won't work. Maybe I could run away from home, live with Gigi.

Suddenly the lights flicker, then they go out. A blood-curdling scream fills the room, and I suddenly realise that it was coming from me. 

"ETHAN! Turn the light back on." 

I reach for a towel when something cold brushes against my arm. I jump back, my head hits the wall, spilling blood onto the wall.

"Ethan, cut it out!" No reply. "Ethan, it's not funny!" Again nothing, something laughs darkly sending chills down my spine.

Suddenly something leans over me, eyes glowing with the colour of blood, fangs coming from its mouth. Vampire, I shudder, I knew in that moment I was dead.

As it comes closer, the smell of blood gets stronger, I feel faint and I must try not to throw up.

Its fangs erupt from its mouth and I step back but instantly hit the wall again. Think Rose, think, it brings its fangs to my neck. No, no, no, I shut my eyes, waiting for the pain to come.

All at once I don't feel as cold, and the stench of blood isn't as strong. I open my eyes; the vampire is now at the other side of the room and next to him is another vampire!

The new vampire growls at the other one, my legs go from underneath me and at that moment i have never been happier for a wall to be there in my life. The two vampires unexpectedly slip back into the shadows. Gone, just like that.

Holy Shit, there were just two vampires in my room, two! No one had ever survived an encounter with one, let alone two. To say I'm confused is an understatement.

Tiredness suddenly hits me, I walk towards my bed, forgetting about the cut on my head. I fall asleep as soon as I hit the pillow. The last thing I see is a pair of eyes- full of thirst and hunger, looking down at me once more.

The sound of my phone buzzing wakes me from my deep sleep, my head is throbbing in pain. Ugh, what the hell happened last night, I must have just slept funny, I think to myself as I walk to the bathroom. Then suddenly, out of no were my memories of the night before come flooding into my head. Vampire, two of them were in my room last night. I feel the graze on my head but funny enough it's not there, but in its place is an aching headache. My phone rings, breaking me from my thoughts, it's Jake. Shit, I should have meet with him twenty minutes ago.

"Hey sorry I just woke up." I apologise.

"That's all right, I'm at the front of yours. We still have time to get a bite to eat, did you want to hit the mall?" He sounds a little mad, but I'm glad he still wants to go this morning.

"Sounds great, I will be out in a minute. If you want to, you can wait inside."

"That's all right, I'm fine with just waiting here, just hurry okay. love you." My heart warms, and then I remember what I must tell him, I frown. "Love you too, see you later."

I quickly get changed into my finest red dress, black heeled boots and the earrings Jake got me for Christmas.

"See you later, mum." I yell as I run through the house and out the door before she can say anything about how inappropriate my outfit is or to not be late for class.

There he is, standing in front of his yellow Ferrari, hands in his pockets. See, Jake Dawson isn't like every one of those typical high-school jocks whose existence is to create a living hell for everyone inferior to them. Sure every girl in school is head over heels for him and I mean so am I but the difference between me and those girls is that he picked me, the girl who in grade 9 fell over in the cafeteria and spilt yogurt all over herself and got called clumsy c*m girl for two whole years. I'm the girl who works at your local bakery, you know the shy one who never really talks and just hides in the shadows to avoid attention, there's one in every school. I'm Rosalie Greymor, and the hottest guy in school chose me.

So, they enjoyed every moment there and they had so much fun! After everything is done, they went home to rest.

Zane and Iris went to their mothers lap and lay down there.

I saw nothing but I felt something different! I was trembling... I felt the cold and I also felt scared. I feel like someone is staring at me with cold, scary, intimidating eyes! I looked away and then the man who was seating here a while ago took my attention! He was no where to be found.. I fell and I can't breathe! my asthma!.. ahh ha ha.. ah ah ah.. then a moment pass and I'm able to breathe again, I'm now at a crowded place! the road is full of noisy cars and I didn't understood what just happened.. I ignored it and I started to think where i'm suposed to go.. Oh! that's right! i'm supposed to be with Chloe! nahhh! imma just text her and go back to my home and sleep. When I got back to my home, I fixed myself and do my homework then sleep. The next day I fixed myself again then went to school. Something is different, alot of students are in the hall and I can't really see why it's so crowded. I saw my bestfriend then she told me that Ms. Amy is Dead! she was killed ny the vampires abd ware wolves. I actually don't believe in it but when I saw her body... I saw claw marks.. her neck full of vampires bite and her body almost splitting up and there's no blood in her body. I'm terrified! but when the police arrived the students went to their classroom and they acted as if nothing happened. I went to my classroom and My Homeroom teacher, Mr. Bean also went inside. He tought us few things before a new student entered the room. He's wearing a hoodie and has a mask on and he look like he's a gangster or a member from MAFIA.. there's something odd with him! he didn't listen to anything that mr. Bean had asked him to do. When Mr. Bean could not take it anymore, he said "Let's go to the principals office young man! hurry up! the principal must lecture you" And we did not expect what he said "Why not bring the principal here? If you want us to talk.. why not you! bring him here? If you still love your job better move your ass and start bringing the principal here"

Chapter Eight
Her life returns to normal after days of being locked inside the mansion. It's a mystery as to why Livi hasn't come looking for her, surely he must have found out she has escaped. That was a relief for her but she actually fears the time where he will suddenly appear to take her again. For 2 days she reported to her part time works telling everyone who was worried and misses her for her disappearance the reason to why she suddenly disappeared. All she said as a reason is that she finally went back to her province and make peace with her family. Hence for the sudden change, she said that her aunt and uncles from abroad are delighted that she is finally back so they treated her makeover to compensate for the previous misunderstandings. Luckily for her they believed it and seem to be glad for the news. That past of hers haunted her so much and made a certain impact to her life so she was not what they call a happy youngster.  She doesn't really socialize and always aloof so her friends and everyone she knows are so worried. They must be thinking that now that she is in good terms with her family she will change a little and start opening to others. 
"So Tamara how was that man? You know, the one they were about to let you marry. What happened to him after you left and now that you have returned?" her friend Zandra said as they wipe the tables of the restaurant where they are doing their part time job, it is a fast food restaurant with foreigners as its usual costumers. 
"Yah, I was wondering about that person to. So what happened? He must have been so mad and humiliated right after you left. He must think that you have stepped into his pride. I hope he didn't do anything shady while you are there?" Gracia one of her friend said.  
Zandra Velar and Gracia Dominques are her best friends in College. They helped her a lot especially financially and emotionally. They know each other very well so the two knows her tattered past with her family. She can't tell them the truth to what really happened. They might get in trouble and she doesn't want to remember or even deal with that again. With the kind of man Livi is and once the existence of vampires is revealed there will be chaos or worst Livi might murder her friends. But there is this ere feeling inside of her that she really wants to run back to the mansion, to Livi. She shook her head to clear her mind.
"W-Well, he-he got married but--. The truth is... Garcia, Zandra can I tell you a secret?" she said as she stop wiping the table and face her friends who were also cleaning behind her.
The two look at each other with questioning expressions on their faces. They both look at her then nod.
"We are your friends aren't we? You can tell us anything and we will help you no matter what. So-so what is it? Don't worry we will keep it to ourselves, that's a promise." Zandra said as they look at her worriedly.
She took a deep breath then look at her hands holding the wash cloth she is using to clean the tables.
"M-Me and my family had an argument again. T-They want me to marry someone else again and this time they said since I have my issues on unreliable man they found a much better match with my taste so they says. They were planning on a meet up they scheduled for yesterday but I run away again. I-I can't possibly marry someone I don't love just for fame... not now. I-I'm sorry I lied, I lied that we are now fine and happy. I-I just don't know... marriage scares me. The huge responsibility and the great dedication it requires... I don't qualify yet" She said trying to be as convincing, she saw pure disbelief and anger in her friends eyes.
She needs to connect chains so that she can get out of confusions.  Plus, she knows that they will soon ask her to meet her family and she just can't do it since she lied about returning back home. She doesn't like to lie and tell fake stories just to get her friends sympathy especially to these people who become her family throughout the years but…..a vampire really? A vampire will surely arouse more questionable thoughts from them and she doesn't like that to happen. They might just think that she is crazy or worst they might leave her. She doesn't want to be alone, not this time and not especially when Livi turned her into this monster making her feel so lonely.
"WHAT?? Sorry I mean, we thought everything settles but... how can they do this to you. After 3 years they still thinks of marrying you off to a mere stranger. What kind of parents are they? Don't worry once they show their faces here and try to get you to do as they pleases we will not let them. They have to pass to us to get to you. Argg!" Gracia said in a puff of frustration, she really feels so bad but she can't take back and regret what she has said.
"Oh... Mara come here, group hug. By the end of the day, we will always be with you okay. Never ever forget that." Zandra said as the two of them pull her into a hug.
"Thank you… so much." She said almost a whisper.
She sighs feeling so bad but she tries hard to be stronger. They don't have to know that she once died and now she is a vampire's pawn or Livi's so called immortal warrior. She sniffs her nose trying to act as if she is in tears when a certain scent came into her nose. She froze as she felt her throat ache and her canine teeth started to elongate again. She looks at her friends hugging her and she might be becoming insane or her eyes sight might be distorted but she swears she can see red lines indicating the flowing of blood into the veins in the neck of her friends. Her mouth started to salivate and when she looks into the mirror wall in front of her she saw her eyes brightly red. She again sniff and that sweet scent made her go crazy and she thinks she was already brushing her lips into the soft milky skin of the neck of Zandra's.
"U-Umnnn Mara are you okay? W-What are you doing?" she stop on her tract when she heard Zandra confusedly whispered while Gracia rub her back as if consoling her.
She then realized that she was about to bite Zandra on her neck. She looks into her reflection and saw how she nearly buries her fangs into her friend's neck. She is nearly becoming like Livi, a heartless fanged monster. 
"I-I'm fine... so-sorry I need to run to the CR!" she uttered as she run away from them covering her face on her way.
"W-wait Mara?" she heard her friends call but she already runs towards their own private CR inside their changing room.
She immediately lock the door as she walk towards the mirror. Her eyes are still brightly red and her fangs are as sharp as those hungry wolves of the forests. She immediately washes her face with the cold water as if she needed to walk up. When she look up her eyes are still the same and her fangs are still visible. The worst part is that her throat hurts like hell. She slowly drops to the cold tiled floor as she holds into her neck as the pain creep into her body. 
"B-Blood, I need blood." She heard herself says.
"W-What the hell am I saying? IM NOT A MONSTER! I-I need to... I need to control myself. Tamara, you can do this. YOU are NOT a MONSTER!" she said talking to herself as she slowly clenches her hands as if ready to punch someone.
She blames this all to Livi, how dare him for turning her into like this. This is not the type of life she dreams of. She wants to live a normal life, a happy fulfilled life. But---with this sudden changes and sudden urges...… HER, being normal is next to ZERO. She can still feel the surging pain as if a sharp steak is being purged into her chest. Hating and blaming Livi then herself she raises her hand and just bites her wrist. She felt the crushing pain upon the purging of her fangs into her skin but when it reaches the blood, the pain change into cravings and thirst. As if she is a thirsty person into the dessert and just have found an oasis, she started to suck her own blood. The insane part is that she liked it. It tastes like vanilla  and stawberry.

This is a story told through generations. A tale told by grandparents as their grandchild circles around earnestly waiting for it to be spoken. About twins who were bred in darkness, made to be apocalypse incarnate. A story of hope and despair, of trust and betrayal. A tale of a maiden who turned against flesh and blood for humanity she never had.

Our story begins a long time ago, when the country, Cirilla, was still divided by two. This was when elves, dwarves, humans, and other walks of life struggled to find balance. When all was at conflict either amongst each other or their own. There was however, one tribe united within, the creatures of darkness. Demons, vampires, and other unearthly creatures. They were led by a vampiric dark lord, Kluas the Irradicator, legends said that he was the vilest amongst his kind possessing powers none could rival.

It was said that Klaus the Irradicator dreamt of a world of which he ruled will be at peace. Creatures he deemed below his own are to be bred properly or culled if see fit. It was a plan of a madman but for him it was necessary. He wasn't the only one in this grand conquest with him are his generals, selected from his personal army and some to other species who were blinded by his cause. Fellow demons, beastman, orcs, and others with corrupted souls. But among all of them, only two were fully trusted, his children.

Klaus' dhampiric children he had with a mortal. Edith, his wife bore her twins a male, Klaus Klausson and a female, Elizabetha Klausdottir. The children grew close to each other, playing the same games, learning the same lesson taught by tutors. They were inseparable as kids, yet being their father's children they grew faster than normal. As they mature their parents found their favorite.

Klaus took his son, joining him in war rooms and battlefield. He trained his son to be the perfect soldier, a worthy successor. At times Klaus would go as far as to indoctrinate his son into thinking that all those who oppose them are narrow minded fools. He taught him to use fear, violence, and pain. Things learned only by those who bask in darkness.
While the brother was soaked in the wisdom of warfare imparted by their father, Elizabetha was different. Edith cherished the young lady teaching her humanity. She made her feel how to be human. She taught courage, compassion, and grace. Lessons that will come to save us in the days to come.

As the twins grew old their power grew as well and so did their father's. The tales and myths about Klaus the Irradicator were used to put misbehaving children to rest. Despite all the rumors of a day that his army will rise and conquer the world, the irradicator did no such things due to the request and arguments laid by his wife and daughter. Yet being the most powerful invites challengers, few dared to challenge Klaus. None of them could even best him at his weakest, that is to those who managed to beat his select generals. This display of power was proved too strong for brute strength.

He seemed to be shown having no weakness, being the most powerful there is. There were others however who wanted to destroy the irradicator. Not by brute force by the breaking of will. A small band of alchemists consulted oracles about Klaus. There they discovered everything about him; his might, his army, his fortress, his family, and importantly his wife. They knew she was mortal. So as mortals themselves they did what mortals know best, murdering their own kind. They poisoned her with a dangerous and potent poison. Klaus' advisers could not devise a cure, it was only a matter of time before she is long for this world. The couple were living on borrowed time.

Months passed, Edith was barely clinging onto life. She requested her family be summoned before her. 

"My beloved. I am going to meet my creator now. Or maybe I won't because I loved you. But still if I were to live again I will love you in that life" Her wife spoke softly to him.

"Please my love, save your strength." He assured her as he stroked her hair and kissed her forehead.

Edith smiled in pain, not of the poison but of the fact that she will not see her family any more. She motioned her son to come forth. "My beautiful boy, I love you so much. Do make your father proud" 

At the end of the room her daughter was afraid to come close. She was holding back the tears. Tears of fear, anger, and denial. Emotions humans feel when put in the same situation.

"Elizabetha, please. Mommy wants to see you dear" Edith said as a whisper. 

Elizabetha wiped her eyes and took courage to step. "Yes mother."

Edith smiled, wiping her daughter's eye. "I have taught you everything on how it is to be human… when I go I want you to never let go of it." Edith slid her hand near her daughter's chest. "I will always be here." She gazed at her family one last time. Uttered six words that affected everyone differently. "I will always love you all"

Grief entered the house of Klaus. Elizabetha mourned for days. But Klaus the Irradicator had no time to grief. He left and isolated himself in his study. He was searching for ways to bring back her wife or at least join her. Klaus II, being a warrior, plotted revenge. He called out magicians under his command to identify his mother's death. They did quick work as they reported it was done by human alchemists.

Klaus II without disturbing his father, he assembled his army. He was burning with furry, fueled by revenge. As he stood in his chambers contemplating on how to eradicate humanity his sister walked in,with one purpose to reason with his brother. 

"Brother please. Do not release your anger upon humanity." She pleaded.

"Sister forgive me but I must" He replied without looking back.

"Then find the one responisble. The sins of one cannot be paid by thousands."

"This is what father would have done" He turned to his sister.

"That is not what our father's doing. He is finding ways to bring her back, least join her."

"Grief made her mad!" He shouted. His fangs protruded and so did his claws.

"Then grief with him!" Elizabetha shouted yet restrained her fangs.

"And be mad like him?" Enraged he swooped in grabbing his sister by the neck. His claws on the verge of cutting her down.

Elizabetha's anger entered. She unleashed her fangs and claws. Grabbed her brother's hand, removing his grip and choking him. Klaus II let loose and gave a few good hits on his sister. The siblings battled with both holding their own against each other. But this is where the training came in. Klaus II made quick work of her sister, knocking her down. Normally Klaus II would kill those he has bested. He showed restrained as he placed a spell that bound his sister.

Elizabetha knelt down with her hand and feet were tied behind her back. Klaus II also sealed her mouth to prevent his sister from uttering spells. As he was about to leave the room, Elizabetha's eyes glowed red. Then the room began to shake and everything floated. She was doing this as his brother floats to do nothing but watch her sister perform her silent spell. And in a snap a burst of red energy permeated within a portion of their fortress.

Slowly the walls crumbled down, as did the floor. Kluas II dashed through the door but could not leave. He began to find a way to escape but there was none. Without any other choice he cast a spell similar to the one he gave his sister. As they were both bound a coffin encapsulated them both and the part of the fortress was buried to the ground.

This story was passed amongst the creatures of the night. To then was heard by monster hunters. Then narrated to taverns. A legend originated from darkness to tell a story of light. And so because a dhampir who learned of human compassion was able to prevent a war and save humanity.

In a world where humans and other mystical species have lived in harmony, it was indeed a peaceful time. But when an ancient evil was found and resurrected it starts to threaten the peace. Fortunately a human, elf, and a newly awaken vampire are with the knowledge to defeat this evil. Unfortunately they don't work well with others.
