Game Development Companies took charge to develop a fully functional Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game [VRMMORPG], The world where the dreams come true. Alas! Game Development Companies were successful in creating the World of Dreams but, they weren't able to create the dream itself.
The old Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games [MMORPGs] and Multiplayer Online Battle Arena [MOBAs] still swarmed the market and made a better profit than the newly released Virtual Reality Games. Developing a fully functional Virtual Game drained too many resources and wealth which left several Companies bankrupt and many shut down.
Finally in the Year 2026, A fully functional Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game[MMORPG] named 'AlterEGO' came into the international market and the company which developed it, AstroFLT sold several copies of the game and earned a huge profit.
The Release of 'AlterEGO' resulted in the advent of a new age, 'The Golden Age', in the industry of gaming and thus starting the E-Sports World Championship with 'AlterEGO' as it's the central event.
The World of AlterEGO was worth visiting as it offered an immersive experience to the players and the world which was meant to become the dreams of many was called, 'Imperia' or simply 'The Lands of Imperials'.

Chen Mo decided to wait until night time before checking the applications. He decided to focus on planning the next update for Plants vs Zombies.
In his previous life, Plants vs Zombies had a sequel. Although it made a decent amount of money, the player reviews left a lot to be desired compared to the first game.
That was why Chen Mo didn't want to make Plants vs Zombies 2. If he wanted to make money and get hated on by fans, why not make some Pay to Win game? Just so the name of Plants vs Zombies wouldn't be tarnished.
This upcoming update will probably be the first and last update for the game, therefore Chen Mo wanted to please the fans, allowing the players to invent their own playstyles, which would allow fans to play the game well into the future.
As Chen Mo was about to start developing a new game, he didn't have the time or energy to maintain the game in the future.
After giving it some thought, Chen Mo narrowed it down to a couple features.
First, in terms of content, add developer tools. Anyone could use the developer tools to test out anything in the game.
They could make adjustments to the plants, zombies, the environment, and the maps. They could also upload resources to make new types of plants and zombies, and they could use the existing artwork to make new maps, levels, and playstyles.
These mods could be released, browsed, and installed by players. The players could rate and review the mods. There would be an algorithm to rank the mods according to downloads, rating and playtime, recommending mods to players periodically.
Second, add networking and social capabilities to allow players to communicate better within the game.
Plants vs Zombies had simple connectivity and leaderboard functions when it was released, but this was only enough to satisfy the bragging needs of the players, leaving behind the deeper social interactions.
Through the new social capabilities, players could add each other as friends or join communities. Friends or players belonging to the same community could watch other players, upload their own playthroughs, and recommend mods.
Third, make a multiplayer mode.
In theory, with the developer tools, multiplayer was only a matter of time. Chen Mo was just trying to accelerate it.
Chen Mo only had two simple game modes in his plan for now.
First was multiplayer co-op, each player controlling three to five lanes, supporting two to five players at a time. This meant that there would be twenty-five lanes, and the player would be able to scroll up and check the status of other players.
Every player would have their individual suns, and they could help other players plant and defend against zombies together.
Under multiplayer mode, when a player died they could be revived by other players using a special plant, and players could coordinate and plant some special plants together.
The second mode would be versus mode, it could be 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3. Every player could get suns or moons; suns for plants, moons for zombies.
Zombies had to be generated slightly faster than plants.
Players would have to defend their own lawns or use zombies to attack the other play's lawn. Whenever a player lost, they wouldn't be able to revive.
The reason for having two different resources, suns and moons, was to prevent certain players from dragging the game out by only making plants.
If one controlled plants and the other controlled zombies, it would be very difficult to balance, which is why Chen Mo didn't do so.
Chen Mo wasn't sure if multiplayer modes like these would be successful, but he was optimistic. Because the game followed the original playstyle, any changes he made would be beneficial, so it wouldn't be detrimental to the main game.
Of course, it wouldn't matter if it didn't work out, as there would be mods made by the community.
Chen Mo estimated it would take two weeks. This was a generous estimate, as the main game only took one month.

By the time night fell, Chen Mo had basically finished the design document.
After closing the doors, Chen Mo went back to the second floor, checked his inbox, and went through the applications.
Most of the applications were for the assistant position, only four were for the front desk.
Chen Mo wasn't too happy when he looked through the applications for the front desk. One of them had barely any knowledge of games, another had no experience with Plants vs Zombies, and the other two didn't put much effort into the thoughts on the game.
Of course, the main issue was their looks, which Chen Mo didn't find too attractive.
Chen Mo wasn't part of the good looks club, nor did he have any ulterior motives when hiring for the front desk. But after all, it was a well-paid job, so Chen Mo had many choices and didn't need to compromise.
He was only thinking about the players. A sweet receptionist would improve the mood of the players who came to the store, so it would be better if he chose someone good looking.
Or at least someone cute....
Chen Mo continued looking through the applications for the assistant role.
There were many resumes, and Chen Mo only needed one assistant at this point. Therefore whenever he found someone that didn't match his requirements, he would delete them.
He wasn't considering older people at this moment.
Older people tended to be more conservative, weren't active enough, weren't as creative, and didn't have as much potential. Moreover, it would be awkward if his assistant was older than he was.
He wasn't considering employment experience, either.
The ones that had worked at other companies would have had certain ideas imprinted into their design process and thinking. As Chen Mo's ideas were completely different from other companies, trying to convert them to the same wavelength would take time and effort.
He didn't consider those who played games all day and had nothing better to do, either.
Playing and designing games were completely different things. Playing games required reaction time, controls, and game knowledge, whereas designing games required logical thinking, attention to detail, a solid working ethic, and some inspiration.
It was difficult for someone who was just a gamer to get a job in game design.

As for the thoughts on other games, Chen Mo wanted to see what types of games they liked. They'd be considered to pass if they picked a game that was relatively successful and went over why the game was good.
The thoughts on the future of video games was a supplementary question. He wasn't going to consider them if their judgement was too far off, as those people would be too dense to absorb anything.


Chen Mo liked calling himself a video game designer, despite being a mere video game producer.
After dying one day from work-related stress, he transmigrated into a parallel world as himself, right after he graduated. He was now in the body of his younger self, who also aspired to be a video game designer.

"A story mode… I hope this isn't a bug or a glitch." He said to himself as he felt uncertain about this.
This is an online multiplayer open-world game! A story mode should exist in a single-player mode. Though, come to think of it, Tornado seems to remember that the developers had a plan to make every player have their own story mode.
It seems it didn't make it to the final cut but looks like the codes were still in the game. Still, isn't it weird that he's the one who got it? There are about three million of players in this game and he got it.
But then, he remembered one event that just happened earlier.
"Right, Asitana. How long have I been out?"
"Asitana isn't sure but about half an hour."
"Half an hour?" He pinched his chin for a second before twisting the throttle. He can't waste any more time than this! Jun is in great danger and here he is, sleeping soundly.
"Let's go, hang on tight!" Asitana let go of her hug and sat in Tornado's lap.
The idly floating motorcycle earlier is shot forward just like a bullet comes out from the barrel as Tornado twisted the throttle.
The distance is rather far and it would take about two minutes and in these two minutes, Tornado's mind is thinking about something. Which is the story mode of course.
Tornado had some guesses but one guess is that this story mode is what he got after the big nerf. Is it worth it? Only time would tell.
Truth be told, he is excited that he had a story mode in his main menu. A new mode means a new bunch of features! Maybe he'll get a weapon that was weak in story mode but actually really powerful in multiplayer mode or maybe a new perk like every time a bullet hits zombies, they're going to be slowly decomposing!
Though, new things aren't always a good thing. For example, new types of zombies and include the zombie bosses.
If you know all the zombies in this game, it'll make you think that this was dark souls. Every zombie was annoying and had its special abilities!
Even the ordinary ones are annoying already since most of them are attacked in numbers and considering that they'll get some buffs in the new upcoming patch updates. It'll get annoying.
This made Tornado think for himself.
What's wrong in the mind of the developers? Shouldn't they make the game easy and stuff? Well, that's the mystery. Although the game was released five years ago and some supernatural things happened, which lead players trapped here.
What's more, players don't know anything about what's going on. On the outside world that is, unless they conquered the eight cities, which enabled them to connect with the outside world.
Lack of information about the outside world but can still contact the developer team. Though every time players ask questions about the outside world, they either ignore it or divert the topic.
There is this one time where a player is the son of a big CEO company and threatens the developers to log him out from the game but instead of that, the developers do what is called a pro-gamer move.
They tortured the hell out of that player by minimizing item drops, zombies suddenly get stronger, zombie bosses will target him first rather than anyone else despite other player's health is low and there are much much more that player got just because threatening the developer team and the torture still continued to this very day.
That poor player is still kicking and living but he spends most of his time playing safe by doing some easy missions and never participating in conquering the ten cities.
Tornado met him once and his state is well. Make people pity him.
Anywho, the developers are strange, cruel, and mysterious. Every time a player reports bugs or glitches, they would fix it almost immediately. It was so fast that even players didn't realize that the problem was fixed already.
There was this time when a player reported a bug where zombies wouldn't die no matter what, he reported it and the problem was fixed in a short ten minutes! Ten minutes!
It was terrifying and amazing at the same time, the news spread quite fast and players began speculating what the developer team really is.
Some say that they're aliens that were disguised themselves in human skin, some say that the developer team is an A.I itself. This speculation, or rather a theory at this point.
Agreed by many players! The developer team is actually an A.I, to which it controlled everything in the game and that's why problems in games were fixed quickly. If it's humans who do that, however, it is literally impossible!
With up above, you get a rough idea of what the developer team is. It is mysterious and intriguing at the same time, Tornado even thought that he wanted to find the truth about them but didn't have the time in the end.
You know, hunter easter eggs are fun after all.
I wonder if entering the story mode would bring me to a single-player mode? Tornado thought to himself.
Indeed, there's a chance that this story mode will not take place in the multiplayer mode but brought him to a single-player mode, but what would happen to his character in the multiplayer mode?
Go hibernate or something?
Should I take the risk? He wondered as he pinched his chin. If he did, however, there's a chance that he'll fell asleep, and helping Jun would be impossible too. In addition to that, can he quit the story mode?
If his character in multiplayer mode is in great danger, that would be the worst thing to happen.
So many possibilities and considerations to take so that he could play the story mode made him think that he shouldn't play it at all! His purpose in this game is to find easter eggs if he plays the story mode where it takes the most priority over easter eggs.
Then he decided not to, however. At the same time, it is interesting and makes him curious about it.
'Curiosity is the worst thing than fear,' Tornado muttered and fell into deep thought for a few moments. His eyes were closed and brows formed a frown on his forehead, no one knows exactly what is on his mind.
The motorcycle travels through the air at high speed and adding that it was in auto mode if birds or any flying creatures are in the way. They'll get crashed and either will die or fatally injured.
Soon, he opened his eyes and nodded. He quickly looked at Asitana who sat quietly on his lap. Her hair is that color of cream, some even mistake it as a blond from distance but if you take a closer look, it was cream.
Her hair also smells nice and pleasant to one's nose. Its smell is like an apple and a flowery fragrance, entering his nostrils and somehow ease his mind.
"Asitana, if I have a story that I must walk on. Should I do it?"
"Asitana didn't understand what you were talking about, but if it's interesting and fun! You should do it and I'll accompany you!"
Heard her answers, Tornado can't help but feel that something had indeed happened to her. Her answers were nothing like the first time they met, this time it was more polite and cute.
Not that Tornado hates it but he finds it strange. He doesn't know what happened to her while he's unconscious but he'll try to go along with her new attitude and personality. In addition to that, without asking questions even if he wants to.
Though, he's uncertain how long he could keep it that way…
Subconsciously, he stroked her thick hair with a gentle gesture as if stroking a sleeping cat, afraid of waking it up. The out of character these two made would surely surprise those who know them well, like Uno and Clover for example.
The latter would certainly think that Tornado lost his memories or because of under pressure or something. As he stroked her hair, a thought slipped through his mind and stopped what he's doing.
"Asitana, can you still feel the connection?"
"Connection? Oh, come to think of it. It was quite faint and not as strong as the last time. Also, Asitana feels something dangerous towards the place we're heading."
It was faint? Is it possible that the second easter egg was that strange creature? But that doesn't make any sense and is unexpected at the same time. Tornado pondered to himself.
Pondering wouldn't do any good so he checked the progression of the Golden Easter Egg.

"1,5?" He's surprised but it didn't last long.

When it comes to VR games, everyone, from gamers to the technologically adverse wanted to play them. With the advance of technology in the world, a new type of VR is released, which allows its user to enter the realm of videogames. 

A game about a zombie apocalypse is released the day after this new type of VR, and was an immediate success. It was a globally revered sensation at the time, a whopping 2.5 million players played the game, playing for an obscene amount of hours. It was like they never logged off. 

Now, a young man, who is known as Tornado online, is one of those 2.5 million players, trapped in a zombie apocalypse world. Survival is a must. Weaving through the technological reality, anything is possible. You could scrounge for food, set up shelter, or even get an undead girlfriend.

In a room full of darkness sits a young teenage boy who is on his computer playing his last match of the day before going to bed.
The teenage boy had a medium short hair dyed crimson color and with a hint of dyed black in it. His face was sharp and looked pale white as if he had not seen the sun for decades, he also has gold onyx eyes that seems to attract any woman who stares at him long enough and fall for his charms, needless to say his face is quite handsome. His body was a slim build with a few muscle popping up and wears a plain red t shirt and blue jeans to cover up his body.

The game takes place in a realistic and modern setting. Infinity Ward began working on the game soon after the release of their 2016 title Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. They introduced an entirely new engine for the game, which allows for new performance enhancements such as more detailed environments and ray-tracing capabilities. For the campaign, they took influence from real-life conflicts, such as the Syrian Civil War and terrorist incidents that have occurred in London. For the multiplayer, they scrapped the franchise's traditional season pass and removed loot boxes, enabling them to distribute free post-launch content to the playerbase in the form of "Seasons".[5]
Right now, he sees as his last teammate, XXproVoidx got headshot by the opponent by the .50 GS dealing alot of damage in mid range and especially close range.
