In order for Alyssa to survive the Zombie Apocalypse, she was going to have to trust another kind of monster.

After leaving the monster territory, Steve decided to disguise himself. He took out some clothes from his storage chain and put them on. After he was done, he was sure that no one could recognize him except for his monsters. Oh, and the system. He then went to the Monster Tamers' Association. The Monster Tamers' Association was basically an association formed by powerful monster tamers and its sole purpose was to help other monster tamers.
The Monster Tamers' Association had instructors that other monsters tamers could hire to train themselves. The cost that the monster tamers need to pay depends on which instructor they want to learn from. The association was very fair with its pricing and never tried to rip any monster tamer off in any way. They charged the monster tamers mostly for salaries to the instructors as well as to maintain the association. The association also didn't ask about the monster tamers' backgrounds, and they wouldn't even care about the monster tamers' backgrounds even if they knew.
The Monster Tamers' Association would also buy monster cards from monster tamers and sell monster cards to monster tamers at the market price, with a tiny 1% fee, which was mainly used to pay their members wages and give them basic living necessities, as well as kept in storage to pay for things like damaged buildings or any emergency problems that might emerge. Most of the monster tamers respected the association because of their fairness, and they didn't mind paying a bit more for fees, and most of the monster tamers would accept up to 3% fees, but the association had never raised their fees.
Of course, the Monster Tamers' Association had set up around the world so people could access it easier and not be required to travel days or even months just to get there.
However, Steve wasn't going to the Monster Tamers' Association to sell or buy monster cards and definitely wasn't going there to request an instructor. He was there to ask the Monster Tamers' Association to allow his school to take the kids out on a trip to the monster territory to battle some monsters and increase their battle experience and strength. He had to increase the strength of his classmates and the other monster tamers of this world quickly.
He could feel that there was a limit of this world and that limit has been broken, and it was probably because he had far surpassed the limit of this world, but the world couldn't do anything about it because it was too strong. His arrival on this planet had not only affected the very fabric of space, but it had also loosened the limit on the planet, and it wouldn't be soon before monsters become much stronger and they were able to get stronger faster.
However, monsters weren't the real problem. They could probably understand humans and could work peacefully with humans. Icy and Aqua were both examples where monsters and humans could work together peacefully. The real problems were demons. Because of his arrival, the fabric of space was damaged and it became much easier to break, and demons could use that to their advantage and control the humans and monsters of the world.
Although he could just deal with them all, he decided not to because he knew that he would not be able to always watch over this world and help them deal with every problem, so he must help them grow stronger by themselves. Only by that will they be able to face dangers in the future and deal with future problems when Steve had left.
Steve walked inside the building owned by the Monster Tamers' Association. He walked to a counter, and he was greeted by a member of the Monster Tamers' Association. Steve used a fake voice and requested to see the Branch Head, but the member said that a request is required and the Branch Head normally never sees anyone. The member then asked Steve if he would like to try to request to meet the Branch Head. Steve agreed, and he handed the member a card and told the member to give this card to the Branch Head when requesting. The member asked for Steve's name, and Steve told him that he just needed to give the card to the Branch Head. The member nodded and left to ask the Branch Head.
After about 2 minutes, the member came back and told Steve that the Branch Head had agreed to see him and the Branch Head had invited him to go to his office. The member then led the way to the Branch Head's office. He then left the office and closed the door.
The Branch Head gave a card to Steve. It was the card that Steve had asked the member to deliver to the Branch Head. Steve accepted the card and put it in his pocket.
"Thank you," said Steve.
"What is it that you want?" asked the Branch Head.
"I want to make a deal with you," said Steve.
"What is it?"
"You should have realized that the monsters have gotten stronger and their numbers are increasing because the portal had been reopened. Now, the monsters of a certain quality and level are way stronger than the quality and level they were before. We need to deal with that problem and train them and their monsters and make them stronger and strong enough to deal with the improved monsters."
"I know that," said the Branch Head. "But it's impossible to do so in our current situation. We have yet to figure out how much stronger the monsters have become compared to before the portal reopened and just recklessly letting the monster tamers fight the monsters would be dangerous and may even cause deaths."
"I never said anything about letting them go out and fight monsters," said Steve. "You can just simulate monsters and let the monster tamers and their monsters get stronger through simulation, can't you?"

Then, the monster tamer can battle the monsters with his own monsters and he and his monsters can get stronger each time they battle, and once they defeat those monsters, you can create more monsters that are a bit stronger than those ones, and the cycle repeats. If you keep following this pattern, it doesn't matter how strong the monsters in the monster territory are."
"I see. Thank you for telling me about it," said the Branch Head. "So what is the deal you wanted to make?"
"I would like you to go start implementing that idea on the school Silveredge Academy first. Also, I would like you to use these monsters first for the sixth graders that have bronze quality monsters." Steve took out the Trapjaw Shadow Ant monster cards. "And I will give you one undamaged monster corpse of a Flame Lion. It is a gold quality 2 stars monster."
"Normally, I wouldn't do accept such a deal. However, since you provided the information and idea, I will make an exception and accept the deal," said the Branch Head.
Steve nodded. "Thank you. I would also like you to not mention me to anyone else."
The Branch Head shook his head. "That is impossible. I need to report to other members of the Monster Tamers' Association and I cannot keep this a secret. Besides, I need to record your name for being the provider of the idea."

One factor that most likely affected our speed the most was the fact that our group had travelled on land instead of jumping from tree to tree. Of course, it wasn’t as if the ape type monsters had any choice. After all, they were also carrying some additional luggage in the form of ant carcasses which obviously made it hard to travel in the same way as before. 

 As a result of travelling on land, our group naturally encountered some monsters which also contributed in hindering our speed. But personally, what I found most fascinating about all of it were the monsters that had attacked us. For one, the monsters weren’t humanoid or animalistic in nature. In fact, I wouldn’t be too far off to say that it was as if the jungle itself had attacked us. And I meant that literally because as far as I knew, all the monsters that got on our way resembled that of plants. In other words, there were numerous plant type monsters scattered through the jungle and they were the ones that attacked us. 

 Actually, on our journey going back, I saw three varieties of those plant type monsters. One was probably the very same monster who attacked us on our way to the nest. Apparently, the monster was called a Pikalet and it was a monster that shot bullet-like pikes using its tube-like branches. Though honestly, I really had no idea how the monster was keeping track of its surroundings given the fact that the monster has seemingly no eyes. 

 For the second plant type monster, I would say that it was probably one of the most connected and integral part of the society of the ape type monsters, and the reason was because of its main means of attack which was those remarkably sturdy vines. In truth, those sturdy vines that the ape type monsters were using to bind us actually came from those very same plant type monsters, and apparently, all those monsters who produced such vines were called a Vinip. But the surprising thing was, it seemed like even for the Tronobo, using pure brute force to break free from being bind by those things was an impossible task. And it was actually proven true, after all, I saw with my own two eyes how the Tronobo was unable to break free from the Vinip’s vines after the Vinip caught the Tronobo by the arm. 

 Anyway, the third plant type monster was actually a common monster from almost every fantasy story I had read before. The best description to give was probably the fact that the monster was shaped like a tree. In short, it was the monster that was often called a Treant. Though in this case, there were actually two categories of Treant monster. 

 The first one was called the Dry Treant and based from what I had seen so far, the monster was remarkably weak and dumb. And if you were wondering why I said dumb, well, it was because despite being unbelievably weak, the Dry Treant would always charge towards our group like some sort of mindless monster. Honestly, I couldn’t even call it an ambush because it always made those creepy deep scream sounds whenever it attacked us. Probably, the best way to describe the monster’s action was simply a reckless charge. 

 Going back on topic, the second category was called the Forest Treant. Now, this one was a little bit tricky to handle. For one, unlike the Dry Treant, the Forest Treant would not attack our group recklessly but instead always pretended as an innocent and harmless tree. What was most terrifying was the fact that the monster could also completely hide its presence and hostility while doing so. Most likely, the monster also has the skill called Conceal Presence or maybe it was using a skill that has a similar effect to that one. To make matters worse, the monster also had the ability to control the normal trees in its immediate vicinity and use them to launch a surprise attack. Fortunately, the Tronobo was with our group, so the Forest Treant stood no chance of beating us no matter what kind of trick it used. 

 Man, that was exhausting. I thought while looking at the exhausted ape type monsters in my surroundings. 

 For now, our group had stopped directly in front of the giant tree which also serves as the dwelling of the ape type monsters. And based on how the monsters were behaving, the ape type monsters chose to wait for someone or something here in this place. Though honestly, I found it odd that the ape type monsters didn’t immediately throw us into prison but instead decided to include us in whatever it was these monsters were planning. 

 Truth to be told, after everything that had happened in which these ape type monsters were always involved, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that something bad was about to happen once again. To make matters worse, I still hadn’t completely recovered my strength after fighting against those swarms of ants. After all, I was quite certain that only a few hours had passed since that battle ended. That was why, if it just so happened that we were about to head out into another such fight, it would seriously be bad for me. Well, surely, all these ape type monsters must also be feeling tired after that battle and forced march so it was unlikely that they would dare fight once again… I hoped at least… 

 Please, guys let’s just rest. I thought wishfully. 

 It was then that another battalion of ape type monsters emerged from the forest. And judging by the exhausted and haggard look of its members, it seemed like this battalion had also fought a battle somewhere in this jungle type area. Though personally, what I found most curious about this group was the fact that I didn’t see any monster prisoners like us in their midst. Of course, it was also possible that this group’s monster prisoners were just simply wiped out from the battle. But after seeing the state of the new battalion’s members, I had this feeling that most likely, this new battalion had fought directly against their enemies without using any other monsters as bait. The problem was; in contrast with this new battalion which clearly wasn’t in any shape to fight, our own looked as if it could handle another large-scale battle probably owing to the fact that it has us (the monster prisoners) working as bait. 

 Seriously, this is bad! I internally screamed. 

 While I was carefully eyeing the members of the newly arrived battalion, the last ape type monster had finally emerged from the jungle. And the moment I caught sight of this new ape type monster; I instantly knew that this particular monster was the leader of the newly arrived battalion. 

 Immediately I used Assess on the monster and based on the result, the new ape type monster was apparently called a Pronobo. And just like the other leader who was the Tronobo, I could say with certainty that this new ape type monster was on the same level with the Tronobo in terms of raw power and rank. The only difference I could see was the fact that the Pronobo wasn’t as huge and as muscular as the Tronobo. In fact, in contrast with the boulder-like muscles and huge towering body of the Tronobo, the Pronobo’s muscles were firm and sturdy which made its body look thinner yet flexible in comparison to the Tronobo’s. Of course, having a thinner body like that didn’t make it a lot less dangerous. The truth was, I could easily guess the fighting style of this monster called Pronobo. 

 Judging by its body build, I’m pretty sure that this monster is insanely fast. That means that just like me, this monster also capitalizes on its speed to outmaneuver and defeat its enemies in combat. Was my immediate theory. 

 Realizing that fact, I couldn’t help but think that it would be a lot more dangerous to antagonize the Pronobo compared to the Tronobo. Because one thing I had noticed after constantly fighting in this hell of a place, it was that I always had a hard time fighting against opponents that were fast compared to those who rely solely on brute strength. And though it was also true that getting hit by a strength type monster could instantly put me on the verge of death, that fact would be rendered useless against the combination of speed, instinct and reflexes. That fact was simply proven to be true again and again after constantly battling and defeating different kinds of monsters up until now. That was why personally, I would rather fight an opponent that was way ahead of me in terms strength than that of speed. Because truth to be told, I had not the slightest idea on how I would beat an opponent who was way faster than me. 

 I have to avoid any confrontation against that thing as much as possible. I swore to my heart while gazing at the Pronobo. 

 Probably in order to greet each other, the leaders of the two battalions moved towards one another until they were finally standing face to face. But what happened after that confused me even more because the two monsters suddenly roared at each other’s faces. And honestly, the effect it produced wasn’t something to laugh at either, because loud as it was, the sound was also powerful enough to cause a small shockwave of air. Not only that, the fascinating thing was, the roar of the two monsters were actually blending with each other creating an oddly harmonious tone. 

 But then, as if sensing the presence of a superior monster. The two monsters instantly stopped their song (?) and straightened their backs when a new group of ape type monster emerged from the jungle. Looking around, the other ape type monster also did the same as their two leaders as if on cue. It was then that I also sensed the oppressing presence of a powerful monster mixed among the ape type monsters that had emerged from the jungle. And when I turned my head into the same direction to where the ape type monsters were looking, I was shocked beyond words by what I saw.

A leader of an allegedly organized crime syndicate called “Famila” died in a mysterious way, when he woke up, he found himself inside the body of a wolf. Suddenly finding himself alone in a foreign world, the newly awakened wolf carrying the memories of his past life was forced to fight for survival in the harsh environment of a world crawling with monsters.

Though honestly, I found it odd that the ape type monsters didn't immediately throw us into prison but instead decided to include us in whatever it was these monsters were planning.
Truth to be told, after everything that had happened in which these ape type monsters were always involved, I couldn't shake off the feeling that something bad was about to happen once again. To make matters worse, I still hadn't completely recovered my strength after fighting against those swarms of ants. After all, I was quite certain that only a few hours had passed since that battle ended. That was why, if it just so happened that we were about to head out into another such fight, it would seriously be bad for me. Well, surely, all these ape type monsters must also be feeling tired after that battle and forced march so it was unlikely that they would dare fight once again… I hoped at least…
'Please, guys let's just rest.' I thought wishfully.
It was then that another battalion of ape type monsters emerged from the forest. And judging by the exhausted and haggard look of its members, it seemed like this battalion had also fought a battle somewhere in this jungle type area. Though personally, what I found most curious about this group was the fact that I didn't see any monster prisoners like us in their midst. Of course, it was also possible that this group's monster prisoners were just simply wiped out from the battle. But after seeing the state of the new battalion's members, I had this feeling that most likely, this new battalion had fought directly against their enemies without using any other monsters as bait. The problem was; in contrast with this new battalion which clearly wasn't in any shape to fight, our own looked as if it could handle another large-scale battle probably owing to the fact that it has us (the monster prisoners) working as bait.
'Seriously, this is bad!' I internally screamed.
While I was carefully eyeing the members of the newly arrived battalion, the last ape type monster had finally emerged from the jungle. And the moment I caught sight of this new ape type monster; I instantly knew that this particular monster was the leader of the newly arrived battalion.
Immediately I used Assess on the monster and based on the result, the new ape type monster was apparently called a Pronobo. And just like the other leader who was the Tronobo, I could say with certainty that this new ape type monster was on the same level with the Tronobo in terms of raw power and rank. The only difference I could see was the fact that the Pronobo wasn't as huge and as muscular as the Tronobo. In fact, in contrast with the boulder-like muscles and huge towering body of the Tronobo, the Pronobo's muscles were firm and sturdy which made its body look thinner yet flexible in comparison to the Tronobo's. Of course, having a thinner body like that didn't make it a lot less dangerous. The truth was, I could easily guess the fighting style of this monster called Pronobo.
'Judging by its body build, I'm pretty sure that this monster is insanely fast. That means that just like me, this monster also capitalizes on its speed to outmaneuver and defeat its enemies in combat.' Was my immediate theory.
Realizing that fact, I couldn't help but think that it would be a lot more dangerous to antagonize the Pronobo compared to the Tronobo. Because one thing I had noticed after constantly fighting in this hell of a place, it was that I always had a hard time fighting against opponents that were fast compared to those who rely solely on brute strength. And though it was also true that getting hit by a strength type monster could instantly put me on the verge of death, that fact would be rendered useless against the combination of speed, instinct and reflexes. That fact was simply proven to be true again and again after constantly battling and defeating different kinds of monsters up until now. That was why personally, I would rather fight an opponent that was way ahead of me in terms strength than that of speed. Because truth to be told, I had not the slightest idea on how I would beat an opponent who was way faster than me.
'I have to avoid any confrontation against that thing as much as possible.' I swore to my heart while gazing at the Pronobo.
Probably in order to greet each other, the leaders of the two battalions moved towards one another until they were finally standing face to face. But what happened after that confused me even more because the two monsters suddenly roared at each other's faces. And honestly, the effect it produced wasn't something to laugh at either, because loud as it was, the sound was also powerful enough to cause a small shockwave of air. Not only that, the fascinating thing was, the roar of the two monsters were actually blending with each other creating an oddly harmonious tone.
But then, as if sensing the presence of a superior monster. The two monsters instantly stopped their song (?) and straightened their backs when a new group of ape type monster emerged from the jungle. Looking around, the other ape type monster also did the same as their two leaders as if on cue. It was then that I also sensed the oppressing presence of a powerful monster mixed among the ape type monsters that had emerged from the jungle. And when I turned my head into the same direction to where the ape type monsters were looking, I was shocked beyond words by what I saw.

The forest was home to many different oddities and the activities of the Lightning Sword's party only served to enhance the fact.

Since Bella and Ima had left him to his own devices, monster cub Azemo decided to go exploring. He was hoping to maybe find some creature that would help him strengthen his monster form. It was the longest he had been away from Bella and Ima since he met them, but he still had Reginald's voice in his head.

"Which way should I go Reginald?"

"The forest all looks the same to me, my lord." To a creature that spent the entirety of his life in the deserts of Kclzan, Reginald missed the intricacies of the forest.

"Very helpful." Azemo's sarcastic tone suddenly changed at the end of his words as Reginald had accidentally given him an idea. He was going to visit a monster heavy part of the forest. He wanted to figure out what they really thought about the new demon lord.

Normally it would be suicide for a small monster like Azemo to go into the heart of monster territory, but at the moment the forces of the forest were in a truce. They were going to put a hold on infighting until the intruders had been banished from the forest. There was also another important problem, however Azemo did not know about it.

The monster part of the forest had a gloomier feeling as the small form of Azemo sauntered in. The trees of the area were twisted and scarred while grass grew sparsely and the sounds one might expect from a forest were nonexistent.

Even with the gloomy feel at the entrance, the further Azemo walked the more scenes of life he saw. Clearings with vibrant plants and flowers were littered everywhere and a crystal clear stream soon came into sight.

It seemed that parts of the forest were designated for fighting and others for preserving nature. Azemo was amazed at the story the land told and was surprised to learn that there were boundaries in the monster world.

Monsters were highly regarded as a less intelligent race and even the demons who they closely associated with them still saw monsters in that light. The three intelligent races were: humans, demons and beasts and everyone saw monsters as a lesser race because of their violent natures.

While he had travelled alongside two monsters Azemo had learned how narrow that view was. He had learned many things that were not mentioned in the various teachings that the demons gave him and he saw monsters in a different way. Still he had not truly grasped the situation and he saw many different things when he was a monster.

Monsters were definitely refined enough to be considered an intelligent species, but they had allowed the other races to put them in a bad light as a form of defense. If the others saw them as less of a threat there would never be the widespread eradication of monsters, like what had happened to the demons.

Monsters were still hunted, but they were seen as such a divided group that they were barely connected under the term monster. There were just so many different species and from the outside monsters were savage and did not get along with their brethren.

Monsters were extremely territorial and they did fight a lot, but there was an unbreakable code.

In times of great threat monsters could be called together under the same banner to resolve the threat to their race. As monsters were spread out across the entire world usually only the monsters in the area were called, but in monster history there had been a time when the entirety of the monster race had been called to arms.

None of the other races had any history of the event because no witnesses had been allowed to live and no one could live up to the full might of the monsters. That singular point in history showed how connected the monsters were and how dangerous they could be.

Azemo did not know any of the rich history though because he had not experienced monster culture for long enough. He was also a demon and while individual monsters sometimes cooperated with demon lords, demons never learned the secret of the monsters.

Of course, there were extremely powerful monsters that did not care about their communities around them and would not answer the call. Monsters so powerful that they could shake the world if they ever left their territories, but there were not many of that level of monster.

"Little one, why are you in such a dangerous place. It would not be safe if we were not in a state of emergency."

A monster that was ethereal without any real shape floated over to the small round furball.

"I came to offer my services, you need all the help you can get."

The ghost like monster laughed before answering.

"Very well little one if you want to help follow me."

Azemo followed the odd monster and headed deeper into the forest. They passed many other monsters on the way, but they all seemed to give Azemo's guide a wide berth.

Eventually Azemo was led to what was similar to a war camp, but was not where any monster slept. Guarding the camp were a pair of skeletons that did not even react as the pair of monsters entered.

"Ok we are here little one. I will take you to someone who will know what to do with you."

It was daytime so the camp was well populated and Azemo was led by numerous different monsters. Most ignored Azemo and Azemo was able to see all sorts of shapes and sizes. They ranged from puddles to hulking multi armed behemoths and Azemo did not know half of the types of monsters.

Azemo was impressed because he did not even know about the war camp and had just wanted to meet some new monsters.

Eventually the ethereal monster led Azemo over to a small fox, that Azemo thought was a normal fox.

"This one wants to join in the fight for the forest." With that the ethereal ghost-like monster vanished into thin air.

"Hmm, it is commendable for you to do your duty as a monster, but you are awfully young."

"Hmmph."

Seeing that it was not getting through to the furball in front of it the fox changed tactics.

"Why don't you go meet some of your fellow soldiers while I devise a test for you."

Azemo was happy to comply because his original goal had been to talk to some of the forest's monsters.

The first monster Azemo walked up to was a small monster with a vaguely humanoid form. The monster had a big head and many eyes that circled the head like a crown, so it easily spotted Azemo as he walked up.

"Did you just come here? I arrived a few hours ago. I wonder how serious everything is."

The monster seemed to like to talk so Azemo let it. After all he did not know the right customs of monsters.

"I am a Fudlbolk and maybe if I do well in whatever task is assigned to me I can become a named monster."

Azemo had no idea what type of monster Reginald was so he just changed the subject.

"I was wondering if you know anything about this new demon lord."

The Fudlbolk was not at all fazed with Azemo's turn in the conversation and excitedly responded.

"It feels weird that the forest would ally itself with him so fast. The demons are a species of the past, but he still is pretty powerful."

Azemo had no idea what to make of the Fudlbolk's assessment so he decided to prod it a little.

"I heard that we are just using him to get the humans out of the forest before we toss him."

"Haha that is something that has been discussed, but I personally think he can help us with our other problem."

Azemo did not want to seem suspicious so he did not ask about the other problem, still it was good to hear about another mysterious issue.

None of the other monsters Azemo spoke to were nearly as talkative as the Fudlbolk, but he was still able to learn more about their opinions and this mysterious problem.

Most of the monsters were not really interested in the demon lord and were content letting the higher ups deal with him. To them the demon lord was an extra tool to help rid the forest of humans forever.

Azemo was a little disappointed to hear that no one really cared about him, but at least they did not want to kill him.

As for the problem, it seemed to have to do with some sort of disease and the monsters were not prepared to face it. As for the exact details Azemo was not able to ask too many questions as to not blow his cover.

Still the problem was something Azemo was going to investigate and do his best to help the monsters. They were helping him with the Lightning Sword so the least he could do was help them solve an issue.

Azemo was busy trying to figure stuff out, but he did not forget to make his way back to the seemingly normal fox.

 After his reincarnation the idea of being a demon didn't really bother Azemo, instead the reality of magic and fantasy occupied his thoughts. Gaining more power or a new technique was more important than learning about the war between demons, humans and beasts. Also he was reborn with modern day villains so being a demon was the least of his worries. At first it was like he was back at school, a school filled with violence and death but he was still learning stuff. However Azemo would be forced to learn about the gravity of being a demon when he ventured from the demon stronghold.

Azemo did not have any grand goals or ideas but the world has a way of forcing troubles and tribulations upon beings.

Helkep saw a monster rising from his shadow. No matter how calm he could be, right now, he couldn't contain his surprise. 

He looked on wearily as the shadow enlarged and took the form of a monster. 

The monster's characteristic made Helkep even more shocked.

The monster had white hair, with blood-red eyes. The monster had light grey skin. With horns sprouting for the sides of its forehead. The horns were black in colour. He also had black coloured claws on his hands and feet's. There were also spikes coming from the knuckles of his hand which were curved up-ward. 

It was the monster that Helkep had encountered in the Wild Cage. 

The hidden boss, the one responsible for the extinction of the fuller party. The one responsible for causing Helkep to stay in the hospital for a month. And also the one who made Helkep think of it thousands of times. 

The monster whose description was an...abomination among abominations. 

He was giving off a terrifying pressure, he looked on with his chest lifted in pride, on the bugs in front of him.

He looked back from the corner of his eye towards Helkep. There was a deep look in his eyes. He eyed Helkep from head-to-toe, as if not finding what it sought, it looked ahead towards the sea of monsters. 

He spoke in his mesmerising voice, "Bituoil jiuolier bintul binwar." Helkep could only frown on the language he didn't understand. 

But the same wasn't true for the sea of monsters, they all took a step back in fear. 

A frown appeared on the monster's face. He spoke again, Helkep didn't need to understand the monster's language to feel his annoyance. 

"Gohjok viooiur NOULIY!" The blood-thirsty pressure intensified, if it was a bucket of blood before than now it was a river of blood. 

The monsters started screaming in fear and started running away, some got paralysed in fear, some lost consciousness and those with the weakest wills and were the closest to him ...died instantly. 

It was a horrifying scene, he was releasing pressure which he had forged in pools of blood, formed from the blood of enemies he had slain. 

Helkep was...un-fazed. The only reason he was shocked before was because it was out of his wildest dreams that a monster, a hidden boss at that and the one that nearly took his life above all, would appear from his shadow. 

It was even more crazy that he was right in the centre of the pressure as well. 

It was a blessing that Noil was knocked unconscious earlier, otherwise he wouldn't be able to bear the pressure in the centre. 

"NIOLHUL! BIOGUL POUYLIO GIGAGAR!!!" Another monster roar echoed from far away. 

All the running monsters stopped at once, it was as if they had encountered a wall. 

Fear started growing on their faces. "Niokpoil bilgutu ciaslaal." There was disappointment in the voice.

A magic formation started glowing on the monsters heads. After staying fixed for a while, they turned back and the unconscious monsters got up. 

Their eyes were black. 'They are hypnotised.' Helkep figured out the cause of the sudden boldness of the monsters immediately. 

He looked back towards Helkep, before he proceeded forward and spoke, "VOIUL! BULHOIKL JINWARAN!!!" 

Giving out a loud roar, he...vanished. He appeared as a blur for merely a second in front of a monster, before he vanished again. 

After a while he came in front of Helkep again, in front of them...dead monsters, missing parts of their bodies, were scattered on the ground.  

It was a path that Noil thought was impossible to forge, which the monster had forged like child's play. 

'He has grown...weaker. With his previous speed...I wouldn't even be able to see the blurs when he appeared next to the monsters.' Helkep was more fascinated by the fact that the monster had grown weaker than being fearful at the fact that he might be next. 

But the...sea of monsters was indeed a SEA. What he had done was nothing more then evaporating a part of that sea. 

The monster who were up on the walls of the gorge, all started coming down, the magic user monsters had created a stair leading down. 

The cleared area in the front was being filled up again. 

He frowned and looked around, seeing the monsters strength in numbers, he clicked his tongue in annoyance. 

Once again he vanished and came back after awhile. The area around him was cleared of monsters. 

But it was filled in matters of seconds. 

A frown appeared on his pretty face. Which actually matched Helkep's. 

He vanished again and appeared once again. Yet again an area was cleared, which was filling up again. 

This happened quite a few times before Helkep finally got tired of his stupid attempts. 

"Hey you! Why are you acting like an idiot? Do you think you will win this battle if you kill all these monsters?" Helkep asked, he felt the way, the monster was acting, was a mockery to the word intelligence. 

Well you can't compare the mind of genius and a child, can you? One is like a cup of water and the other is like a sea. 

He was unable to understand what Helkep had said, but he sure felt the contempt in the voice. 

He raised his finger towards Helkep and said, "Jiokpol bin vulasa." 

Helkep felt it was a pity he couldn't understand the monster's language. 

Realising that the monster was unable to understand human language as well, he thought of how to communicate with the monster. 

Helkep looked at the ground and thought, when was this ground going to be of use if not now.  

Having figured out the way, he thought of how to carve things into the ground. 

Looking around, his eyes fell on the dagger Noil was using. He grabbed it and came in front of the monster. 

The monster just looked on with contempt at what Helkep was doing. 

Helkep noticed the contempt full gaze but ignoring it, he started carving, their current situation. 

Though his drawing was anything but near passable. It wasn't that his drawing sucked but because the ground was tough and he was barely able to curve things in it. 

He drew some monsters, in the middle, two separate creatures, he and the monster. And out of the circle of monsters another monster, very far away. 

"Ok dumb guy! Listen up!" Helkep teased the monster knowing he couldn't understand him. 

"These are...those monsters." Helkep pointed at the circle then pointed towards the sea of monsters. 

Not knowing if the monster understood or not, he decided to continue on. 

"And this, this is me." Helkep then pointed at one of the figures, surrounded by the circle of monsters, then pointed towards himself. 

"This guy with horns, he's you." Helkep pointed at a figure with horns and then pointed at the monster. 

"Did you get that?" Helkep asked, hoping his efforts didn't go in vain. 

The monster grined and looked at Helkep as if he was an idiot. Helkep felt his grip around the dagger tightening. 

The monster pointed at the drawn figures and then pointed at himself. And laughed loudly, his contempt towards Helkep was evident in his laugh. 

Helkep understood what the monster implied. 

The monster had thought that Helkep just realised that they were surrounded by enemies and felt proud of already knowing that. 

Helkep just shot the monster another contempt full glare and continued. 

"And this guy, he is the...mastermind." Helkep pointed on the monster he had drawn away from the circle. To highlight him as the mastermind, he drew a crown above him. 

Then Helkep drew three wavy lines from the crowned monster towards the sea of monsters. 

Then on the few figures he had created inside the circle, representing the sea of monsters, he drew some wavy lines on them. 

Helkep looked at the monster, the monster looked in his eyes and knew that he was asking whether he got it or not. 

Not wanting to look dumb the monster forced his mind to understand what Helkep was implying. 

Helkep understood, the monster understood nothing. 

Pat! Helkep patted his thighs loudly to attract the monster's attention and started walking towards Noil. 

Standing besides Noil, Helkep pointed his fingers upwards and placed his hands besides his head...he was implying they were horns. 

Helkep grinned evilly...or so he thought, it would look more acceptable if he had some emotions on his face. 

After doing this, Helkep tore Noil's shirt and divided it into 5 pieces, rolling the pieces around Noil, Helkep grabbed the end of the pieces, inside his fingers and started pulling them up and down. 

As if Noil was the puppet and Helkep was the monster who was controlling him. 

Helkep stopped after one of the piece slipped from Noil's shoulders to his neck, poor Noil was almost chocked to death. 

Dropping Noil, Helkep pointed at himself and then outside of the sea of monsters. 

The monster looked blankly at this being who seemed to be mentally retarded. 

"Did you get that?" Helkep was a bit hesitant to ask this, fearing if the stupid monster didn't get it then all his effort and Noil's brave sacrifice would be in vain. 

The monster started focusing on the symbols that the retarded human was using and slowly started understanding them. 

After some time, when Helkep was losing hope, the monster made a long, OHHH sound. 

With a large grin, he vanished from where he was standing. 

The reason the two idiots were able to complete their stupid talk was because the monster had cleared quite a large portion of the monsters surrounding them. And it was taking some time for the monsters to fill up the area. 

The monster at this time was outside of the monsters circle and searching for the big boss, which the retarded being was telling him about. 

The monster covered a large portion of the area but didn't manage to find the big boss. 

He thought that the retarded being was wrong and decided to head back and kill all the enemies, even if it would take a lot of time. 

He was running on the gorge's wall and noticed a hole in the ground. 

The whole was barely large enough for him to fit through. He headed inside feeling curious why a large
hole was in the ground. 

Going inside he walked for quite some time before he finally reached the end. What he saw was...nothing special. 

Just a wall with a large orb embedded in it. The orb was displaying the outside situation. Standing in front of the orb was a monster half the size of a human. 

He was chanting something. He thought if this tiny creature might be the big boss, then whatever it was chanting would be trouble. 

And he needed some pay-back, for this being had constantly annoyed him. 

He walked slowly towards it, and punched him in the head, he had held back his power just enough so that the being would survive, he wanted to torture the being, for some personal comfort. 

But the being was so pathetically weak that even his weakest punch that he could muster, killed it. 

Disappointed, he came out of the cave and on his way back towards Helkep he saw that the monster were all running to their own territories. 

He felt shocked, the retarded being had been correct, with the big boss dead, he didn't have to waste time on these weak bugs. 

Helkep looked at the retreating monsters and the bodies that were left on the ground. Suddenly a thought came to his mind, 'It won't be wrong to call him Massacre itself.'

The monster came in front of Helkep. Helkep looked towards the monster. 

"I guess this was how far our path was, go on." The monster didn't understand what the retarded being spoke so he chose to ignore it.

Helkep with a deep and complicated look. Before he sighed and shook his head dejectedly. 

He started walking towards Helkep, when the distance between them was short, the monster's legs started vanishing inside a black gas like substance. 

Soon the gas started spreading to the monsters whole body. 

Helkep looked back and saw his shadow was moving. 

He looked back towards the monster and he wasn't their anymore.  He looked back towards his shadow and it was still like it should be.

A warning was issued all over the whole city.

Souta stood up when he heard the warning. He looked at his side and saw that Bryan was looking at him. 

He understood what Bryan wanted to do by looking at his eyes. He smiled and nodded at Bryan. 

Bryan nodded in return. 

Souta then quickly turned around and exited the classroom. Bryan followed him behind. 

"W-Wait!! The class..." Lumilia stood up and wanted to stop them but she found that both of them were already gone. 

She could only sigh and went back to her seat.

Since it was early, the gate of the institute was still open. The guard would let students enter and exit the institute as long it didn't pass eight o'clock. 

On their way to Adventurers Guild, Souta and Bryan met a lot of adventurers going towards the Adventurers Guild. It's natural that they heard the warning. 

There's also a group of city guards heading towards the Gate 1. They were going to repel the monster tide with the help of the adventurers.

Souta nodded when he heard the system prompt inside his head. He received a lot of monster tide quest back in the game. A lot of players joined the monster tide quest because the rewards for this quest were something good especially to those who had high merits in the quest. 

The two went to Gate 1. They looked ahead and saw a large group of monsters. Their numbers surpassed one thousand and the scout estimated that its number reached five thousand. 

Souta looked at the monster tide and saw a lot of familiar monsters. 

"A disaster-level monster tide, huh?" Souta muttered in a low voice. 

A disaster-level monster tide was the lowest level of monster tide. It means that the monsters that formed the tide were just low-level monsters. The level of the monsters in this tide was between 10 and 40. The strongest one was the monster who just formed their monster orb. 

There were three levels of monster tide. The disaster-level, calamity-level, and the catastrophe-level. 

The calamity-level monster tide wasn't going to be easy like this one. The higher-ups of the city guard would join the battle and sometimes the city lord would be forced to take action. Even the branch guild master of the Adventurers Guild would join the battle. 

Then, the catastrophe-level monster tide was worse. Ladros City wouldn't even be able to defend such level of monster tide. It needed the force of the whole Hebrei Kingdom to stop it because a monster lord was leading such monster tide. 

"What the hell!! There are so many monsters!" Bryan exclaimed at his side. 

Souta looked at Bryan and said, "I thought that you don't want to skip class."

"Yeah, I don't." Bryan nodded his head. 

"But why?" Souta asked. 

"Hmm... I thought that should join this fight and help defend the city against the monsters." Bryan replied.

"Nnn..." Souta focused his attention on the monster tide.

Bargan was in front of the class and was doing a roll call. He found that Bryan and Souta were absent once again. 

He looked at Lumilia and asked, "Where are Bryan and Souta?"

"Um... Sir... They are adventurers so they probably went out to fight the monster tide." Lumilia hesitated at first whether she should tell it or not. 

"...They didn't even say to me that they are going to join the battle." Bargan said with a sigh. 

"Um... Teacher, what should we do?" Lumilia asked. 

"Don't worry about it they are adventurers so they should be responsible," Bargan said as he waved his hand. "You too should experience a real battle as it would make you strong." He said to the whole class. 

Alice looked outside the window and wondered what they were doing right now.

The guards already formed their formation. They were the vanguard of this group while the adventurers were going to cut down the number of the monster from the side. 

The guards were wearing full plate armor like a knight. They were exiting a fierce aura and intense killing intent. They were ready to clash at any time. 

The adventurers were different from the guards. They were lively and chatting with a happy expression. They were talking about the rewards of this battle and what they're going to do with it. As an adventurer, it's not the first time they join a fight in the monster tide. 

Only those Rank E adventurers had a nervous expression. They were trembling at the sight of more than a thousand monsters ahead of them. Their party members assured them that it's gonna be okay. They just needed to be careful and watch out for monsters that were coming behind them. 

Souta turned his head and looked at the adventurers. 

At the back, he saw a group of five people wearing orange grade armor. They were the hunters of the Adventurers Guild. The hunters were the ones who were going to deal with the monster with a monster orb. 

'Luckily, I didn't bring Yuko here.' Souta thought. He knew that these people hated monsters to the bones. 

"Well, let's wait for the signal," Souta said. 

"Yeah, I can't wait for it," Bryan said with an excited expression. 

"Is this your first time seeing a monster tide?" Souta asked. 

"Yeah, what about you?" Bryan nodded and asked him the same question. 

"Yeah, it's my first time too," Souta said. He's not lying. This was his first time seeing a monster tide since he transmigrated into this world. 

Souta recalled something. He opened his mouth and said, "If we performed great in this battle, there is a chance that the guild will promote us to Rank D."

"Really?" Bryan asked.

"Yeah." Souta nodded while looking at the monster tide. 

The monster tide was slowly getting closer to the city. It was now one kilometer away from the Gate 1. 

"Prepare yourself!!" The guard captain shouted. 

The guards tapped their chest in response. They slowly advanced forward and was going to class with the monster tide. 

Souta looked at Bryan and said, "Let's go." 

"Okay." Bryan nodded at him. 

The adventurers followed the guard behind. They split up into two groups. The left wing and the right wing of the formation. They were responsible for cutting down the monster from the side. 

When they got closer to the monster tide, guards charged towards the monster tide without any hesitation. They raised their shield and sword. 

Roar!!

The monsters roared angrily at the group of city guards. They dashed forward to kill those impudent city guards. 

Boom!!

There were many types of monsters in this tide. Terror wolf, kobold, troll, orc, and ogre were among the tide. Even their evolve form joined the tide. 

The guards smashed their shield at the monsters that pounced on them before swung their sword. 

Putchi!!

The number of guards was only five hundred but each one of them could fight three monsters at the same time. Even though they were outnumbered they could still put up a fight against the monsters. Plus, the adventurers were helping them from the side. 

Souta and Bryan rushed towards the monsters. 

[Agility Boost]!!

Souta casted two buff spells on himself. He pulled out the [Vajra Sword Saya] on his waist and slashed it at the monster in front of him. 

Putchi!!

The monster was sliced into two. Its body spurted out blood. 

"I need to kill a lot of monster in order to raise my rank," Souta mumbled as he kept slashing his sword in every monster that he saw. 

He moved his body swiftly. Jumping from side to side dodging every attack while waving his sword. Every time he waved his sword, a body of a monster flew in the mid-air. 

Swoosh!!

Suddenly, a loud explosion occurred in the back and it shook the entire ground. Strange energy swept out like a ripple in the air. It brought down the mana in the air. 

Boom!!

Souta stopped when he felt it. He looked in that direction and guessed that the hunters were fighting the monster with a monster orb. 

"I should hurry up before they could kill that monster," Souta muttered and he casted [Shadow Bind] spell. 

Swoosh!! Swoosh!!

Then, he swung his sword around him killing all the monsters in the vicinity. 

Putchi!!

Souta smiled his filled the soul requirement. Back in the Desolate Woods, some of the corpses there already passed the time limit of three hours so he couldn't collect all the souls there. 

He only managed to fill up the souls when he came back to the Dry Gulch Town. There, he collected the souls of the dead one and used the effects of the [Harvester of the Soul] two times. 

But here was different...

All the souls of the monsters kept flowing in the [Soul Blood Earring]. If they managed to kill all the five thousand monsters here, then Souta would be able to collect five thousand souls. 

Ah~ that's good...

Soon the Eternal Rain guild leaves the campsite and sneaked behind the monsters without them knowing, while the Dragon's Roar readying themselves to start the fight against the monster but first they need to wait for the Eternal Rain to be ready first. The heartbeat of the member starts to beat faster and faster as if it can explode any moment, then a flare was shot toward the sky. It was the signal from Eternal Rain Guild!

"Attack!" Shouted Hendrick, leading his squad he summoned his monster Razor the dragon and ride it to charge toward the enemy. Following their leader, everyone summoned their card and call out their monster, suddenly the place was filled with any kinds of monster.

From animal like a wolf, bear and tiger too golem, plant monster, and even undead monster suddenly appeared and charge toward the monster, caught off guard the monster was suddenly pushed back and some of them were instantly killed by the attack.

Before they even get hold of themselves the monster was hit by the Eternal Rain Guild from behind taking some casualty, but the monsters still strong enough to fight them back and the fight continued into a war. 

The member of both guilds combined is numbered at 80 or more member but now they were fighting the monsters that at least three time their number. Luckily, some of the monsters were still fighting with each other even when they join the fray.

The monsters roar and become mad at the sudden attack from both side, they madly punch at anything they see in anger.

In the battlefield, Hans rides Diablo to attack the enemy from above the air they only can stare at him with wrath filled eyes and watch him attack them freely. The monsters don't have any flying type beast in their rank making them unable to deal with any of their flying monsters, there were some other people that have flying type monster that uses the same tactic as him.

One of those people was Samantha with her ice-type Eagle monster that attacked the enemy using ice-based attack, the Eagle is covered in white feather and has largely built with a wingspan about 6 meters. She rides the Eagle like ice goodness that comes down from heaven to punish evildoer with eternal ice.

When they were attacking the enemy their eyes made eye contact with each other, Hans smiled at her but she only nods at him then continue her attack. Hans only can shake his head, he had known her since he was just a baby and that he still remembers every memory he had since a baby. Many people think that she was cold and unemotional but people that close to her know that she was a caring woman it just that she doesn't know how to express it properly.

He remembers back then when his parents left him in her care when he was just a baby, she smiled warmly at him and care for him like her own son. How can someone like her be an unemotional person?

Hans continues to attack the monsters and assisted those that needed his help in the battlefield, then he realized if Samantha's monster is already at Noble Tier then what about his father's monster.

He turns his head toward the front line where his father is, His father's glorious back was riding Razor the soul card of his father but it completely different than what he knows. Razor now have a sharp head that looks like a spear and its wing looks like a sharp metallic blade that can slice a rock in half easily the tail now had a blade in two sides too.

Hans had his jaw drooped seeing the information of Razor right now, his father actually has already evolved Razor that's why it only has 80 potential point when Samantha's monster is at 100. 20 potential point is probably used up for its evolution, its bloodline even becomes more purified even though it ended up mutated.

"What a beast." Seeing his father had such a strong monster, in his heartburn a desire to own such monster and with the system, he will definitely succeed. Desire will push him forward to reach a greater height, but he still remembered that he was still on the battlefield so go down and continue burning his enemy.

The monsters seem to realize that the situation had become out of control and all of them try to escape, but how can they let them go just like that? The monster that had stopped resisting and instead start to running becomes an easy target for the coalition of both guilds. The number of monsters had started to decrease further until it dropped down to 50, in the end, those monster had escaped deeper toward the forest.

The guild leader of both guilds ordered them to stop and begin counting their spoil of war and rest after the battle ended, they return back toward the campsite while bringing the body of the monsters that were slain during the battle more than 200 monsters body were carried by the member of both guild.

They need to use their monsters to carry that body since there was many of them, even with the help of the monsters they still need 30 minutes to carry all of them back to the campsite. All of the members stare at the body of monsters that stacking in front of them and realize something. All of these need to be processed right? If they were left alone the material quality nay go down.

In the end, the whole camp become lively with all of them chatting with each other while processing the body of the monsters, some of them were still sleepy but pushing themselves to continue with their work since the others are not sleeping, how can I sleep?

The time they finished working with the body of the monsters is when dawn comes, some of them immediately clean themselves and dropped themselves in their tent sleeping. While the other that usually pull all-nighter still able to wake even though their eyes had a black line above them.

Just as the member of both guilds arrived some people dressed in black arrived in the campsite lead by a young man with a calm disposition.

Hans Slynn is a professional in monster card battle and other strategy game , he is is well known in the circle of player as “Thousand Trick Man” he get this title because of his slyness when in the game.
