"Sister Black Water, will we leave this place?"
The rabbit monster beside her raised her head, the sparkling eyes flickered and short rabbit tail was shaking.
Black Water patted Lingling’s face, asking, "Don’t you want to leave here?"
Lingling lowered her head, "No…Lingling made many new friends on the mountain, who haven’t grown up. They like Lingling, so Lingling doesn't want to leave them."
Black Water said bitterly, "This place doesn’t belong to us."
Another monster asked then, "Sister Black Water, will we go home? Can we see our parents?"
The plump monster had a pink pig snout… It should be a wild boar monster.
Black Water patted its head too, with slight voice, "Not now… we’ll go to other places first."
The little pig monster threw itself into Black Water’s arms, "I’ve not seen my parents for long, I miss them. Can you take me back to see them?"
"Me too. Sister Black Water!"
"Sister Black Water, I wanted to draw a picture of my grandfather, but I can’t…I, I almost forgot what he looks like…"
One and one monsters intertwined her. Looking at their wishful eyes, Black Water smiled, "Well… when you grow up, you can see them. I’ve told you guys that before."
"But… we haven’t grown up after 10 years. When we can grow up?"
Black Water answered softly, "If you practice everyday to absorb vitality, you’ll grow taller soon. See, Lingling is taller than last year with longer hair? And you, Little Pig, you are 2kg heavier than last year; and Ah Fu too, you won’t drool when sleeping…"

After saying so, Black Water face turned serious, "Don’t you want to go home to see your parents?"

Little monsters rolled and crawled away from Black Water.
They went far and sat on the ground orderly. Then, they lay in different poses, closing their eyes.
When little monsters started to absorb vitality, Black Water inhaled deeply, and exhaled it to those kids.
It was golden air, separating and wrapping around their bodies.
The golden air went into their bodies with the air they inhaled.
"You’re sharing your vitality with them."
Luo Qiu walked down the stairs to Black Water. He looked at her paler face, "In those 10 years."
Black Water seemed not to care about it, "They are too young. If they cultivated themselves, they’ll gain the self-preservation ability after at least 50 years. If I help them, 30 years will be the maximum."
Luo Qiu said after a while of silence, "Why did you choose the Taoist’s temple, instead of those deep mountains and forests that no one has ever been?"
Black Water explained, "Don’t think monsters’ world as heaven. We need to exist but other monsters need too. Every deep mountain has been occupied by its native-born monsters. If we go there, it is equal to invading their homelands. And the vitality of a mountain is limited, native-born kids need it as well. Can we take these kids to fight with other monsters? Even if I win, it’ll result in other kids losing their home."
This experienced monster aroused Luo Qiu’s interest to understand the monsters circle. "As I know, many monsters choose to live in human society. Will they face the problem about vitality?"
Black Water sneered, "Adult monsters will be OK. As for kids, they can’t cultivate enough vitality, and have to absorb it from their parents, which means they overdraft their parents’ lives. It’s true some monsters long for the prosperity of the human society but more of them have no alternative. Black Water pointed one of those kids, "That is Little Pig, its parents were wild boar monster. 10 years ago, in my living place, the amount of monsters went over the limit the vitality that the mountain could provide. The little pig’s parents were killed by a tiger monster."
She pointed others one by one then, "She’s Lingling… this is Ah Fu… that is Maimai… their parents died in the internal strife that year. I took them to escape to the edge of the mountain range ourselves. But we met human woodcutters later. We had to depart from our homeland. We were expelled from one place to another that other monsters controlled… What do you think the reason is? If forests were still there with clean rivers, we won’t lose our homeland."
Until here, Black Water became agitated. She pointed at Luo Qiu, "You tell me, how many monsters like us are drifting from place to place in this world? Luo Qiu became the boss of a ‘club’ by chance. 

It was a weird club that sold strange items, assisted by a servant girl with 300 years of work experience. Countless people with dreams, hopes and ambitions came to the club, exchanging everything precious they owned just to fulfill their desires. They would offer their lifespan, items, and even their soul. Each successful trade would increase Luo Qiu’s lifespan by a little. 

“Tribute successful, your lifespan has increased by 99 years.” 

Thus, Luo Qiu began his endless life as the club’s boss. 



In the beautiful kingdom of Asgard, there was an unusual storminess in the night. There was the dangerous sound of the angry wind that sweeped past the windows and the walls of the houses. There was no sign of a storm in the recent days, which made most of the superstitious citizens to climb under the blanket and stick with their companions. There was a gloominess in the streets... not a soul was out there. There was no lantern lite in any of the houses. 
But in one house, there was a small light radiating through the window. It was a small orphanage. The kids were not in their beds yet, and the storm did not even slightly bothered them during their play. Their nanny was trying to get then in bed. She was quiet a superstitious woman like all the other olds in that town. One of the kids, Jammy, finally said "Mrs Ginny, can you tell us a story? Not the Cinderella or snow white type..... please tell us something else." This request was sided by all the other kids in the orphanage in an instant and that poor old nanny could not resist this small request of theirs. As she thought of a story which she never shared with them, there was a lightning and a thunder which scared the kids and the nanny. Then she recalled one story.
"Does anyone here want to hear a scary story?" there was a chorus of yeses, which encouraged her and she asked "Doe anyone know about the legend of the Blood Beast?" " I heard the other nanny tell us, if we don't go to sleep, this beast will catch us." Jammy replied. 
"Long long time ago.... in a distant village, there lived a husband and a wife. they both were childless. Finally after a lot of prays, the couple had a son. But the son was cursed. The father went missing after he went for a hunt and when they found him... he was dead in mysterious way. Then one by one the people in the village began to die. The villagers decided to kill the mother and the monster off. But before they could so, the mother and the monster ran away from the village. They came to another kingdom and began to live peacefully. There was but no death that time. The monster grew and he was good in his studies but being a commoner, he was bullied like the other commoners by the nobles. But one girl was his friend. She was our great great princess, she was our Princess Isabella. One day, the monster went into fury when she did not help him for some thing and tried to kill her. She barely escaped and reported to her father, the king. The king's men tried to kill him but due to an accident, his mother was the one who was killed. The monster was furious, he killed almost everyone in the kingdom. But fortunately, the first Prince and his wife escaped. They ran away to a far away place and found our kingdom, Asgard. The first Prince killed the bad king who was ruling us that time and proclaimed himself as the king and his wife as the queen. Now we all are living happily. But that beast came again, he began to feed on kids. The king fought and some how defeated it. The king imprisoned the Monster in the Forest of Caron and said that no one should go there, not even to the border.  And if one does, he or she is doomed for their life..."
The nanny ended her story. The kids were half sleepy. So as she walked to her room to catch here own sleep, Jammy's voice startled her. "Mrs Ginny?" "Yes, Jammy?" "What was the name of the Blood Beast?" The nanny stroked her wrinkled face and said "Sorry dear, due to my poor memory, I did not remember in a moment. The real name was .... Vladimir."

The first Prince of Asgard had returned home from his studies. He was the rightful prince to the throne but due to a special reason, it is not easy. Once he went for a hunting session with his siblings. And his youngest sister goes missing. The royals lose hope when they realize, she had wandered into the Forest of Caron which has a legend behind it. But she returns safely. She also tells him that she got a new friend. The prince does not believe her at first, but soon, he finds it more and more believable. What's more, it seems that he also had a past with this 'friend' long before he even went aboard for his studies....

Martial Hall of the Heero Academy
Fifty-four kids from the team two lined up with their head lowered down. Benjamin did not even dare to raise his head.
He was ashamed, he felt guilty, and he was disappointed in himself. Various kinds of negative thoughts mixed in his mind.
Heero was still sitting on his rocking chair as usual. He scanned the kids calmly. There was no trace of anger or disappointment that was seen on his face.
He had heard the story and it was a lie if he said he was not disappointed. But he did not show it on his face, not even worried about Xu Lingxun who stayed behind to fight the mutant.
The silence deepening and only the sound of a rocking chair creaking could be heard in the big hall.
Heero did not scold them, he did not comfort them for encountering a mutant in the green zone. His silence made the kids uncomfortable.
Of course, it was not that Heero did nothing after hearing the story from the kids. In fact, he was searching online, searching about mutants from his smartwatch.
This was the first time he heard about mutants. Mutant was a human who underwent a mutation. The expert said there was a genetic change, causing the mutation.

Here, Heero closed the forum and took a deep breath. It was quite a shocking discovery for Heero. He did not expect the human on Earth would be this cruel.
At least in Heero's eyes, they were quite cruel. Even though the mutants had undergone a mutation, they were still human. It was not like they would lose their mind and turn into a mindless murderer after the mutation.
It was completely different when a human changed into a specter. When a human turned into a specter, the heart also changed. They would naturally hate or instinctively wanted to kill humans to turn the human into a specter. Totally different from the mutant who only underwent appearance mutation.
After a long period of silence, Heero finally opened his mouth with a question, "So… What are mutants to you?"

Heero also could not blame the kids. They were after all still kids. The oldest was thirteen, they could not be blamed for they did not have their own thoughts. They were influenced by the people around them.
The kids were rumbling about how scary the mutants were. He then clapped his hand, only then the kids stopped and looked toward him.
"Benjamin! What's mutant to you?" Heero pointed out the dejected second prince of the Regal Kingdom.
The dejected Benjamin raised his head and met with his Master's kind gaze. Yes, despite the mistake he made, his Master never blamed him.
Taking a breath, he gave his reply. He would not disappoint his Master again, never. The first step was this, giving an earnest reply to what his Master asked him.
"Mutant is a human who undergoes a mutation. We, the Regal Kingdom, would kill or lock the mutant with violent tendencies, but we will give a place to the mutants with normal behavior. A shelter for them to live until we find the cure!"
"So to me… Mutants are a human who suffered a disease! They look different but it doesn't mean they are not human!"
Heero was surprised by Benjamin's reply. Not only surprised, but he was also delighted.

Heero lectured the kids, hoping they would change their view about the mutant.
"But they are monsters! They eat human flesh!"
"They look at us as if we are their food!"
"The mutants also had killed many people!"
The kids together voiced out their view which was contradicting what Heero stated.
"All right, who said the mutants ate the human flesh! Raise your hand!" Being contradicted by his disciples, not only he was not angry, he smiled at the kids.
Maybe because Heero did look like someone who was angry, eleven years old boy raised his hand.
"Lin Bao! You said the mutant ate human flesh?" Heero called the boy out. He remembered all of his disciple's names.
Lin Bao nodded his head with certainty. He trusted his father would not lie to him.
"Have you seen it? The mutant who ate the human flesh?" Heero asked smilingly.
The moment Lin Bao heard the question, Lin Bao opened his mouth but no words came out. He wanted to say his father told him about that, but it did not answer his Master's question.
In the end, he still went with his original answer, "My father told me…" The boy answered with his voice lowered.
"So, you haven't seen a mutant eat the human flesh?"
Lin Bao shook his head.
"Then, did your father tell you he had seen it? The mutant who ate the human flesh?"
"I…" Lin Bao flustered, his father only told him the mutant was a monster and it ate human flesh. His father always told him that if he was not obedient, the mutant would eat him.
Lin Bao lowered his head.
"Changpu, you said a mutant had killed many people?" Heero changed his target to another kid who said the mutant had slaughtered many people.
Different from Lin Bao, Changpu gave a detailed answer confidently, at least he thought so, "Yes. It was reported in the news. You can search it online, Master!"
Heero nodded his head.
Looking at his Master, Changpu proudly smiled.
"Then, does this mutant represent all mutants as a mindless slaughterer?"
Changpu's smile stiffened, but then he remembered there were many cases about mutants killing people on the forum. So he regained his confidence and gave his reply, "Yes, there are many cases that mutants keep attacking the people. You will know when you look through the forum, Master!"
"I see…" Heero nodded again and opened the forum. He searched a case where a mutant attacked the people and ran afterward.
"Did you know the reason why the mutant attacked the people?"
This time Changpu frowned. After organizing his answer in his head, he replied with uncertainty, "Because they hate us?"
"Correct! But why do they hate us?"
Changpu fell silent as his mind went blank. As a kid, Changpu's train of thought was quite simple and shallow. It was normal for a kid.

"I am not saying mutants are good. There's also a bad mutant. They do kill people but don't humans also kill people too? Do you remember the "Crazed Dong Incident"? He is a human but he killed thousands of people. Does it make all people the same as Crazed Dong? A crazed killer?"
"No!" The kids replied simultaneously.
After that, the martial hall's door opened. Everyone looked toward the door and saw Xu Lingxun entering the hall.
He was carrying someone, but no one could see who he was carrying. It was covered with a big cloak, but Heero could see the beautiful amber eyes through the gap of the cloak.
The amber eyes wavered when met with his eyes. Heero smiled gently before he looked back at the kids.
"Good, that's for today! Now, your senior has come back in fine condition! It's time to decide your punishment! Do you know your mistake, right?"
Heero grinned at the kids, causing the kids shuddered as they saw what was awaiting them. Running, the punishment must be running with more training circlet.

At the most unfortunate day which also the luckiest day for Xing Heero, his village was attacked by a specter. He lost family, his childhood sweetheart, he lost everything. However, on the same day, the strongest man called Saint picked him up as his disciple.

After years of training under the strongest man, Saint. To fulfill his Grandfather's dream to be a Great Hero, Heero started his career as a Hero. Heero was determined to kill specter and would not let any child experienced the same experience as him.

However, maybe he had used all his luck to get the strongest man as his Master. Somehow, all of his achievement was stolen by the other heroes. The unfortunate event kept happening to Heero which led all of his achievement being robbed by the other Heroes.

In the last of his unfortunate event, he tried to kill God Specter, but it only ended him up sealed in Eternal Ice. The last moment before Heero lost consciousness, he vowed he would retire as Hero.

"Father! Mother! I will be obedient! I will stop to be Hero and continue our family line, please release me from this Eternal Ice!"

It was the last day I had to be in the infirmary. I sat on a bed in the infirmary, I was reading a book on the greek gods to pass the time. I was trying to find more about my dad, Hades. I knew the story of how he'd made Persephone his wife very well since my mom had always wanted me to read stories about Hades. I'd never understood why, until now.
I wore a black and white sweatshirt that said: You're Somebody Else by flora cash another favourite of mine and black jeans.
It had been a long three weeks since I had gotten claimed. I'd been at camp for almost a month. I'd made five friends, four Demigods and a satyr. Sadly August the satyr had to go look for more Demigods, Alex was busy with a small quest and Will was busy doing other things. The only friend that was free was Juniper, I was fine with that.
 But for now, I was alone in the infirmary, apart from the two other kids, one was from the Hermes cabin who had pranked the other kid an Ares kid. The prank had gone wrong and both had been injured.
I set my book down and laid back on my bed at least it wasn't as cramped as the Hermes cabin. I sighed and closed my eyes, maybe sleeping won't be as boring. Soon I was asleep, dreaming.
In the dream, I saw Juniper, Alex, August and myself helping a kid. We were defending them from some monster but I couldn't see it. I realized we were all older at least a year older. August was running along with the two Demigods back to camp while we three Demigods defended them against monsters.
Juniper wore blue jeans, an orange Camp Half-Blood shirt and a jean jacket that had random spots of red. Alex wore some light blue jeans and a dark green sweater. I realized my older self had short hair that reached above my ears. I wore a black sweatshirt that had been cut by something with claws on my right sleeve and back, they revealed claw marked scars.
"You two get back!" Alex snapped slicing with his sword making a monster vanish into dust.
"No! We won't leave you!" Juniper responded and a monster lunged at her.
My older-self blocked the attack with my sword and took down the monster by stabbing it with my knife it turned into dust. "Alex we're not leaving you whether you like it or not."
"Fine, I guess we-"
Alex stopped when he saw something in the distance. His green eyes widened. "Peck, you can summon some skeletons right?"
I nodded.
"We're gonna need them," Alex said as the dream started drifting off.
The last thing I saw from the dream was a monster that I'd faced before. The bloodcurdling roar echoed through the dream as I woke up in a cold sweat. The roar echoed in my head as I sat up.
"Your awake, that's great," Juniper said. She wore a golden sweatshirt and blue jeans, her hair was up in a braid.
I took a deep breath trying to calm down.
"How's your ankle?" Juniper asked.
"It's fine."
"Good, how are you?"
"I'm... fine."
"You don't sound fine, let me guess, a nightmare?"
"How'd you know?"
"You talk in your sleep."
"Oh."
"Don't worry we all get them sometimes."
"Really?"
"Yep, the dreams are either just nightmares or warnings. Do you want to talk about it?"
"No, not really, sorry." A chill ran up my spine.
"Alright then, let's get you outside for dinner." Juniper took my hands and stood me up.
Juniper and I walked/limped together to the Dining Pavillion. Most of the kids had returned to their homes for the fall and winter. I had decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood because I knew my mom would just be busy all day every day.
Six Hermes kids sat at their table, four Aphrodite children sat at their table. Five Apollo children including Juniper and WIll sat at their table, seven Ares kids sat at their table shooting small glares at the Hermes kids. At least four Athena kids were chatting at their table and three Hephaestus kids were arguing about some machine. Three Demeter kids sat at their table while the Dionysus table had two kids chatting quietly amongst themselves. The Zeus, Artemis, Hera, Hestia and Poseidon tables stayed empty and I sat alone at the extra table that was now named the Hades table. We scraped part of our meal for our godly parent when our table was called. 
I prayed to my dad for guidance and sat down at my table again. I didn't bother eating all my dinner, I wasn't hungry. I thought back to when I saw my Socials Studies teacher, the way her eyes were grey and then I remembered, the Athena children have grey eyes. Was there a possibility that was a child of Athena? Or was it... no that's impossible, right? It couldn't have been Athena, no way in Hades was that possible.
A few kids from the other cabins were looking over at me, I looked up and realized what I'd done. The ground around me was dead and I was engulfed in shadows. I muttered a curse in ancient greek and calmed down, the shadows disappeared and the ground changed back to its original dead green. Overthinking was a serious problem for me, I'd had it since fourth grade. I always got very anxious and would overthink every situation.

  Three days earlier, at an Orphanage, close to the village that is known for its agricultural speciality and also exporting animals like cows, sheep or even dragons, causes some people are using the dragons to ride in missions, do some tricks, and some weird folks are using dragons to take the milk if the dragons are females and if they can breed, which is sometimes quite hard cause their reproduction it consists in making and laying eggs. The village is called Henodorra and that entire place is the reason why the blind man is wanted.
  Like I said, in the Orphanage, the blind man with the black hair has entered by using his force and he saw there a few kids and nuns. The man didn't look at the nuns who were protecting the kids, instead, he just takes three knives from his belt and throws them at the nuns. All three of them has hit those three nuns protecting the little kids. When the nuns have fallen, some kids screamed and others were trembling. The blind man takes one of his knives and goes closer to those little kids to show him a magic trick.

I could dodge a few who were about to hit me by using a shield spell which shattered them into a few pieces. While I dodged a seventh rock who almost got me, the lizard, who is staying on my shoulder, is telling me.
  "Maybe it will be a good idea to shoot the beast."
  "Shoot what, you Reptile!" I yelled in an angry tone because this small creature is not capable to do what it has to do. 
  "I may look like a reptile, but at least I am a good one."
  "In what? Slacking?"
  Rock was about to hit my head, but I didn't realize that until the lizard opened his mouth and screamed at the rock which made that flying in the sky. I took a quick look at the lizard, it was a surprised look, but right before when I was about to ask what was that thing, he teleports in the wand. "Son of a bitch!" I yelled at the lizard who is going back in the wand. 
  I stopped a bit and tried to shoot that spell again. It didn't work. I tried again, the same result. Bu then, I was about to try the third time, but then I saw the monster three feet closer to me and dodged his attack by using a shield spell, which destroyed the shield and send me a few meters back thanks to the shockwave of the hit it gave it to me.
  "You are weak!" yelled the rock-type monster at me and preparing for another attack.
  I look at the monster ferociously, and then I decided to use a spell. One of those spells which wizard is spotting on random pages in fast times reaction, and that spell I saw, it is detailed as being the one which could help me have a chance of winning this fight. I raised my wand to that monster and I yelled at him.
  "Oblivion!"

  "No." he responds the blind man putting his bag with some goods in it. "No. I did not kill the nuns. Because I revived them after I took them."
  "Took what?" asked Gregonson creating an armour made out of rocks around him because this tore got some stones there.
  "Took the kids I need to achieve the things I need."
  "What things do you need to achieve?"
  The blind man did not respond to the question, instead, he "looked" on the ceiling, and then back at the Gregonson. He did react at the transformation, he creates a hand made out of rocks without even using the rocks around him, from underground or outside the store they are in. 
  The merchant saw them, and he was about to interfere, but his gut said other things. So, the merchant just hides behind the table and waits until the battle is over, which will be in a few minutes.
  The first one who launched the attack was the blind man, he was about to Gregonson with his rock fist, but the creates a zone to protect him from hits by using the rocks beneath him, and he counter-attacks with some small pebbles which have caused serious injuries at the blind man because those pebbles were travelling at an incredible speed. They were like bullets from real-life, but they were not that mortal and hard to take it out without the special equipment. 
  The blind man laughed, making the pebbles that have invaded his body fall on the ground. 
  "Is that all you got?" asks the blind man in a disrespectful tone.
  Gregonson did not respond to his provoke, instead, he just stands there and waits for his next move. But the blind man was doing the same, wait for Greegonson move, because he was regenerating his skin by using rocks to cover his zones who got hit.
  "Your friend is in trouble." says the blind man which made Gregonson surprised. "Arent you going to help him out?"
  "It will take care of it by himself." he says deciding to launch throwing rock attacks.

  Meanwhile, on the Dobrat, a small lady in her 20s is carrying a big backpack with a lot of fur and meat from animals which will be sold on the Odlakhoma for a fair price. While she is in the carriage and waits until she will be leaving, he decides to look outside and hear two people talking about a route which was taking earlier from here to the same destination as Diana. Those two people are most likely drivers because what else they could've been? Carpet washers?
  "Two kids were taking a course to Odalkhom and I believe they were gone because of something important, such as going to a mission or something."
  "They were alone?" asks one the second driver which seems curios about how can two kids go to a dangerous place without a knight. "By the way, who were the names of those kids?"
  "I think it was Judah and somebody called Greg, or Greon, I don't know."
  "You say those two were alone by themselves?" asks Diana the driver.
  "Of course, la- Yike!" says the driver who saw the angry face of an innocent and small lady who is ready to beat someone. 
  "Could you please drop me in the place where they were dropped when they arrived?" she asks in an angry face but with a calm voice which made those two drivers felt sorry for them but much more relieved that they ain't going to be the ones attacked by Diana.
  "Sure!" says the driver who is quickly getting on his carriage and starts driving.
  Diana is going to her seat and waits until she will arrive at the destination, and when she will be there, it will already be too late to interfere in the fights.

  When I launched the spell named Oblivion, it does some damage to the creature, and the damaged done shows to be the weak spot this thing has. The spell was launched right to one of the knees of the rock-type monster and it made the beast goes a few steps back because of the balance and the sensation of hurting which made the beast feel... fear. 
  Now that I discover the weak spot, it is time to use it to my advantage and continue to shoot until I will make the beast fall and scatter in a million rock pieces. But this will be much harder than I already expected because when I launched another Oblivion spell, the monster dodged the spell by moving his damaged leg and walk again in my direction preparing for doing a hard attack with I mace. I was about to use a shield spell again, but then, something has stopped the beast and levitates her into the air. 
  I looked around, and I saw behind the rock-type monster a guy, who is also a mage like me and has a levitating spellbook somehow like mine. 
  "Who are you, little mage?" asks the mage guy who is dismembring the monster by using his gravitational spell and slowly walks to Judah.
  "My name is Judah Judas and yours?
  "My name is Julius." says the guy named Julius who has a levitating spellbook and wears middle heavy armour to protect himself from these types of creatures.

Judah Gremory it is not like every kid. He is really special... He is a member of Gremory Family, a family which is cursed for generations. And one of those curse it is dying at a young age or young adult. Most of the members of that family have decided to convert their Gremory blood into another family blood. Some have changed their whole life by becoming slaves, nobles workers and other disgusting things in Kingdom of Rodnia, or known as Kingdom of Romania.

"Little... girl... don't be afraid. I'm not a monster." Chu Yunsheng sat up slowly. Only after a while did he finally feel that he had regained the control of his body. He slowly reached out his hands wanting to pacify the first living person he saw after opening his eyes.
The bones that hadn't moved for years were like rusty metals making cracking sounds as Chu Yunsheng moved. There was long white hair underneath broken armor in the gaps between his fingers. It was like a moldy bread surface.
But the most terrifying thing was not that, it was actually his five fingertips. All of them had extremely long and sharp long nails as if he was a zombie.
The little girl had never seen such a terrifying "monster" before. She screamed loudly, kicked her weak and thin legs, wanting to run away desperately. She feared that she would be pinched by Chu Yunsheng's "zombie" nails.
Maybe Chu YunSheng hadn't moved his body for a very long time, or maybe his consciousness had just come out of that unknown space, his reaction was very slow. He could only see the little girl running past him in panic before he was able to pull her back. However, the girl was too scared, she tripped over again and fell down on the ground. Now her head began to bleed.
Chu Yunsheng knitted his brows and pointed Qian Bi sword against the ground. After letting out a short grunt, he slowly stood up and carefully made the first step.
Crack… crack...
As if a dried wooden stick was suddenly broken, Chu Yunsheng suddenly fell forward and tumbled towards the girl.
"Ah… get away from me…" seeing that the monster behind her began to 'chase' her, the little girl ignored the pain on her forehead and constantly kicked her little legs while slowly moving backward on the ground. She was clearly terrified.
"Huh!"
　
Chu Yunsheng converged all the remaining energy that he barely had in his body into his arm and forcibly inserted a Qian Bi sword into the back armor of a sea monster's body, forcing his forward inertial movement to stop. In the end, he stopped at a place less than half a meter away from the little girl.
But the collision caused his body that had just been recovered slightly to make seemingly painful cracking sounds, as if it would be splintered into pieces even if someone touched it lightly.
"Do… not worry, uncle… uncle is not a monster…" Chu Yunsheng took a breath and said. He also deactivated his armor to reveal his human face.
Chu Yunsheng wanted to calm the little girl down by giving the girl a 'friendly' smile. However, he forgot that with his current appearance, no matter how he smiled, he still looked like a zombie.
The little girl was shaking uncontrollably. She desperately tried to escape from the monster's hands by moving backwards on the ground with both her hands and legs.
She was too scared, she didn't even notice the danger behind her. Before Chu Yunsheng was able to shout, she began to tumble downwards.
After a few seconds, all Chu Yunsheng could hear was a quiet banging sound, then he saw the girl pass out on the lower ground not far from him.
Chu Yunsheng let out a long sigh and thought. Once again, his good intentions end up being harmful...
At the moment, Chu Yunsheng had no strength to move his body. He could only take out an absorption talisman from the storage talisman, using the fastest speed to restore his energy. His body was really on the verge of collapsing. He didn't think that he would be able to walk out of this pile of bodies without the help of Yuan Qi energy.
Fortunately, the Energy Gathering Talisman that he had cast on his body a long time ago was still working weakly. Otherwise, without the resupply of energy, the storage Talisman would have exploded already. Not to mention that all the things inside would be lost.
After a moment, the eyes of Chu Yunsheng began to have some lively lusters. Although it was still cold and indifferent, it was no longer a pair of dead eyes like zombie's.
He slowly moved along the bodies of strange sea monsters, carefully walking towards the girl with his stiff body step by step. He gently picked the girl up and simply handled her wounds with some of the things that he stored in the storage Talisman.
The little girl was supposed to be very light. Especially when Chu Yunsheng saw how skinny she was. There were just bones underneath her skin, no meat all.
But despite that, Chu Yunsheng still felt difficult to hold the girl in his arms. With the current situation of his body, he no longer looked like the world's most powerful man who could move like a lightning bolt. Instead, he was like an old man who was slowly fading away.

Before the chief of the village had time to see the two bodies of the monsters that had been pulled out closely, he heard kids shouting in panic in the black fog.
Then, he saw the first kid running out of the black fog.
The second, the third...
Soon almost all the kids ran out of the black fog in panic as if they had seen ghosts.
'It's over!' his face instantly dropped.
The food they had was not going to be enough to support them to go through this winter. And the kids could only get into the black fog once! It was over!
"Chief, look! The third daughter of the elder Wu's family!" A young man pointed at a girl who had just run out of the black fog and shouted in surprise.
As he shouted, from the deep inside the forest suddenly appeared a horrifying screech. Just when the chief was about to say something to the young man that had just shouted, his eyes were suddenly wide open.
"Didn't get old!?"
"None of them get old!?"
"What happened?"
　
Everyone including the village chief all stood there in shock!
Before they were able to figure it out, from the black fog slowly walked out a strange figure and it was holding a kid in its arms.
The village chief was startled. He looked at Chu Yunsheng vigilantly. His first reaction was that the man in front of him must be the people from another village that was about 20 km from theirs.
Chu Yunsheng ignored those people. He who had just walked out of the black fog felt heavy in his heart. On the way out earlier, in the black fog, he had seen many bodies of different types of monsters, there were even some Mins' bodies as well, and all of Mins were in their final form! There were also many withered kids' bodies as well.
He had killed many people before. But apart from the people who were indirectly killed by him in Shu Du city, and the people who were controlled by the divine realm, he never once wanted to harm any kids, especially such young children.
Those kids were mostly young girls, and he knew exactly how they died - all of their life force was sucked dry by him.
He felt slightly heavy and guilty, but apart from that, he didn't feel anything. During the seemingly endless dark time he spent inside the unknown space, his soul and his mind were already changed after they were repeatedly quenched in each one of the five mind torturing stages.
"It is the elder Yu's kid!" The forest was filled with eerie green light, the visibility inside the forest was extremely low. But the people with sharp eyes still recognize the girl in Chu Yunsheng's arms.
Just when the village chief wanted to say something, from deep inside the forest appeared another ghost-like low-pitched screech. The face of the village chief changed instantly. Regardless whether Chu Yunsheng was their "old enemy" or not, he quickly asked his people to pack up their stuff and dragged the two monsters' corpses and returned to the road that they had come from with all the kids.
Originally, Chu Yunsheng wanted to return the girl to those people. But strangely, maybe he had stayed in the unknown space for too long, a faint fear of being alone surged from deep inside his heart, making him follow those people unconsciously.
Moreover, maybe the little girl in his arms was the first human being he saw, and the first human being he talked to after years of loneliness, there was an indescribable feeling inside his mind that even he who had an indifferent soul also felt strange.
While he was following them, he really wanted to talk to them. He hasn't talked to anyone for a very long time. He almost forgot his own name.
But no one dared to approach him because he was as scary as a zombie. The kids would only want to stay away from him, and the adults were all worried that he might be the enemy from the other village, so they didn't want to talk to him.
Despite that, he was satisfied with having one of the girls in his arms. At least, the one he had would not run away. It seemed like having her in his arms, he would not experience the same pain and the same loneliness again.
The group of people seemed to have run out of luck. The young man's shout seemed to have attracted something terrible in the forest. As soon as they got back on the same path that they had used to get in, they heard another monster's excited screech. And this time, it was very close.
This time, not only the kids panicked, but the faces of all the adults also turned pale. Just when Chu Yunsheng wanted to ask what happened, a monster that was covered with flame leaped out of the woods and stood in front of them.
It was a monster that Chu Yunsheng had never seen before. It was three or four meters tall, stood with two of its legs, and a pair of mantis-like claws were revealing the deadly gleam as it waved them in the air. Its main body was big and swollen. The ugly head that was on top of its fat body was dripping the saliva while looking at the crowd as if it was looking at its food.
"Move back, quick, move!" The village chief seemed to have seen this monster before. Although he was also scared and shocked, he still ordered his people to move back quickly.
No one dared to hesitate. All the adults were pulling the kids, using their fastest speed to run past Chu Yunsheng.
"Run!" The village chief hesitated for a second when he ran past Chu Yunsheng. But eventually, he still pulled Chu Yunsheng's arms and urged him to run.
The two legs monster that was covered with flame didn't seem to be worried that its food might be able to run away at all. It was making short clicking noises as if it was laughing at them.
Seeing Chu Yunsheng didn't want to move, the village reached out his arms, wanting to grab the girl. But in the next second, Chu Yunsheng's cold glare made him step back instinctively.
After failing to get back the girl, and seeing the monster begin to move, the village chief gritted his teeth and started to run.
"I don't want to see blood today. Leave!" As soon as the village chief turned around, Chu Yunsheng said coldly to the monster using his indifferent voice.
The village chief couldn't help but turn around and look at Chu Yunsheng in surprise. 'Does this man have a problem with his head? Is he expecting a monster to understand what he just said?'
As the village chief expected, the monster let out a strange screech as if it was mocking Chu Yunsheng, and then opened its mouth wide wanting to bite off Chu Yunsheng's head.
Chu Yunsheng let out a quiet sigh. This was the first day he came back from the 'dark abyss', he really didn't want to kill any creatures, but….
Within a split second, a nail that was glowing the dazzling light suddenly shot towards the monster…

River followed the sound of the faint ring, it didn't sound too far from her since she can hear it through the rain. It made no sense though, how was Mark's phone all the way out here?

The sound was calling from right above her, River slowly tilted her head up. She was quite scared of what she would find. Mark's ghost holding his phone? Was it all her imagination that a phone was even ringing?

The sky lit up as a lightning strike flashed making it very clear to see the long, skinny monster standing in the tree River was leaning against. Mark's phone was ringing inside the creature!

River gasped in shock and stumbled back. The creature's good eye immediately caught her when she moved. It began to crouch and sprung at her, it's claws outstretched.

River fell and before the claws could snatch her Alex rammed into the creature's side. One of the few quills on the beast's back slashed at Alex as her ran into it.

The creature tumbled across the soaked soil. Kids screamed and ran Alex ignored the cut and picked River up as fast as he could.

"Is there anything good in the first aid?!" Alex cried as he ran after the other kids.

Jade holds up the first aid and yelled "there's a flare gun for if we get lost on the horse trails!" Alex sets River down quick and ran to Jade.

The creature got up quickly and hid in the tall grass. Alex's blood seeped into it's fur, the scent filled it's nose. The grin on the monster's face grew wide as it crept closer to the group of delicious kids. 

Alex grabs the flare gun quick, River stood up from where Alex set her down. She knew there was no way a flare gun could kill that thing. It even survived from being ran over by a car. 

Alex cried "Ella! There's a shot gun in my car! Grab it and get the kids out of here!" Without hesitation he fired the gun at the tall grass and trees. 

Flames grew and fire broke out on the pastures, Alex looked around frantically for the beast.

The wet grass made the fire die out quick. But there was a huge roar from the grass and the burning creature leaped our and landed onto Alex.

Kids gasped and ran to the barn again. Alex yelled but was soon caught off by his own blood in his throat. As the creature frantically dug it's claws into his skin and tore at his innards. 

River didn't dare look back and hobbled as fast as she could. Alex was gone...

But the beast wasn't done yet, the fire burned at it's fur but it had a thick enough coat and wasn't harmed as much as feel overheated. It roared, it's tooth grin still present but it's eyes were pure fury. It wasn't done. It didn't take it long to start chasing after the kids again.

Ella couldn't look back, tears filled her eyes. 'He's not dead! He's not dead! He's not dead!' She repeated in her mind, she wanted to sit down and cry and want to just disappear. First Scott...and now Alex. She shouldn't have ever gone through with the plan. 

Ella ran with the other kids to Alex's truck. Ella grabbed the shot gun in the passenger seat and slammed the door shut. The kids followed Jade to the barn and hid in an empty stall. 

The creature ran across the pasture, it was swift and fast. The fire died out, bits of fur messing across it. Leaving bare skin showing. When it saw everyone split up the creature went after the kids instead.

Wait! Ella thought as she saw the creature stalk into the barn. Ella honked her horn loudly the creature's head lifted.

It looked out from the barn and saw Ella in the truck. But it was smarter than that. It remembered when it was ran over by the vehicle. It stooped low in the grass so Ella couldn't see it creeping away from the front of the car and along the side.

Ella frantically honked again, she didn't see it come out of the barn. She knew it would smell the kids in the stable, she was debating on getting out and chasing after it. 

The monster leaped up from the grass and snarled at Elle's car window. It clawed at her window, breaking the glass.

Elle screamed in horror and crawled to the passenger seat quickly, clenching the shot gun to her chest. The creature's huge smile snapped at Elle as it squeezes it's head through the window. It's long rat tail banging against the car. 

Elle aimed the shot gun at it while trying to dodge the long teeth. She soon realized that the truck was tipping from the monster leaning pushing so much weight on one side.

Tears filled her eyes thinking back to all the people she loved. But then she saw it! A furless area from the fire. The bare skin was a perfect place to shoot the bullet in the head. She aimed and shot at the beast. The bullet was shot in it's big ear. 

The creature roared and stuck a huge claw into the window, it snatched at her leg and she screamed. She tried aiming again, this time when she fired the bullet went right into the head. It stumbled back and fell. 

Elle waited a while before she dared get close to the broken window the beast crept out of. When Elle finally peered our the window It was laying  on the wet grass, dead. 

The monster she worked so hard on making she finally killed. The thousands of dollars she spent for the formula. Her sweet little black cat corrupted and turned into a monster. Little old Grimlin has finally gone into forever sleep. Elle couldn't help but sigh with relief and slumped back in the car seat.

When 14-year old River, goes to a new horse barn it wasn't long till she could tell something is wrong. A big creature is tearing up any living thing it sees and it has chosen Sunset Stables to hunt in. River and a couple of friends are willing to stop the monster before it has nothing else to kill at the barn and moves to town. 

This is a thrilling packed, tension, adventure, horror scenes (gut, blood, the creature itself isn't pretty to describe)

(The episode opens with Ruka running to Yusei with a deck in her hand)

Ruka: I got a rare, Kanisha's deck

Rua: Some fortune teller gave it to her

Tenzen: I heard that deck has spiritual power in it

Ruka: Yeah, I felt after I touched it

Yusei: I remember, that there is a blank card that summons the spirit of Kanisha Sukiyaki, a girl that possesses the power of a duel monster

(Ruka looks through the deck, and putting the cards on the table)

Ruka: It's not here

Rua: That Fortune teller ripped us off

(Ruka sees a glowing card on the table)

Ruka: Wait (picks you the card) this card wasn't part of Kanisha's deck

Rua: It's a tuner monster, but isn't this deck really old, what would a tuner monster be doing in there?

(The card releases a robotic rabbit holding a ray gun)

Bolt Tanner: Never seen that tuner monster

Ruka (looks at the card): It's called 'The finder'

The rabbit: Where's Kanisha?

Ruka: You can speak, so the legend is true

The rabbit: You have lots of spiritual energy around you, can you help me? (Looking sad) I'm afraid she could be in danger

Ruka: Of course

Yusei: Where was she last seen?

The rabbit: It wasn't long, a few days ago, Kanisha was playing with some kids, when she met a boy named Kurokida Doshi, who made cards of his own, he made me. But, that same day he disappeared, Kanisha kept searching, and I was with her along with the kids, but we couldn't find him. Soon, Kanisha said she could sense something so she told the children to go somewhere safe and for me to protect them. That's the last I saw her

(The flashback shows Kanisha with wings playing with three kids: a boy who has black spiky hair, wearing a brown shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes, a girl who has silver hair, wearing a red dress with a yellow jacket, and pink boots, and another boy who has blonde hair, wearing a blue shirt, black jeans, and white shoes. Meanwhile, a teenage boy who has brown hair, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes sitting in a chair by a table painting. The screen switches to Kanisha, The rabbit, and the kids searching all over, then Kanisha looks shocked. Kanisha talks to the kids and the rabbit. The kids and the rabbit and Kanisha fly in different directions)

(Flashback ends)

Yusei: Then, how did that fortune teller find you?

The rabbit: Unfortunately I don't know 

Ruka: Don't worry, we will help you 

Bolt Tanner: How, Kanisha could be anywhere?

(Yusei sees something in his duel runner glowing and it's his Stardust Dragon)

Yusei (eyes widened): I think I know how

(Everybody looks confused)

Yusei: My Stardust Dragon can sense Kanisha's energy, it could lead me to her

The rabbit (on top of the duel runner): Great, let's go

Ruka: I'm coming with you

Tenzen: How? You don't have a duel runner

(Ruka gets a card and a dragon appears, then puts the card in her pocket)

Tenzen: That works

(The deck gathers around Ruka and enters a bag)

(Yusei and Ruka head off)

(The screen switches to a dark room, where people in cloaks are)

(Kanisha, who has long hair, wearing a red shirt, black jeans, and white shoes is chained up to the wall)

Kanisha (eyes glow) (whispers): I sense something extremely powerful 

(One of the people in the cloaks walk up to Kanisha)

Kanisha: So, you finally appear, what do you want?

The person in the cloak: Your powers, of course

Kanisha: Sorry, but that won't work

The person in the cloak: What makes you sure?

Kanisha: Millions have tried, the same amount failed 

The person in the cloak: Well, I won't 

Kanisha (thought): It's coming closer

The person in the cloak: You looked worried

Kanisha: Maybe

(At that moment, the wall starts crumbling and Yusei along Ruka appears)

Kanisha: Hello

(The person in the cloak disappears)

Kanisha: Drat! He got away

Ruka: Kalia, burn those chains

(Kanisha is free and rainbow wings appear)

The rabbit (smiles): Kanisha

(Kanisha hugs the rabbit)

Kanisha: I'm glad to see you (eyes widen) what about the kids?

The rabbit: We got separated 

Kanisha: I got to go find them (looks at Ruka and Yusei) thank you (flies away)

Yusei: Wait!

Ruka: We have to help her

Yusei: Yeah

(Yusei and Ruka head off)

(The screen switches to Kanisha looking all around the Satellite, then she sees the kids and lands)

A girl: What's that?

A boy: It's Kanisha!

Another boy: Could it really be her?!

(Kanisha smiles, the kids hugged her)

The second boy: It is you 

The girl: I missed you

The first boy: Me too

Kanisha: I'm so glad to see you, but where have you been?

The girl: We met somebody that's been keeping us safe from those people in cloaks

(From the shadows appeared Crow)

Crow: Hello

Kanisha: Hello, nice to meet you, I'm Kanisha

Crow: Names Crow

(Yusei and Ruka appeared)

Yusei: Crow

Crow: Hey, Yusei

The girl: Crow, Kanisha, is the girl I was talking about

Crow: You mean the girl that has the spirit of a duel monster inside her

Kanisha: That's me, thanks for taking care of my friends

Crow: It was no problem 

The girl: Since your back, you does that mean you defeated those cloaked people?
