An F-rank mob monster is born in the outskirts of an SSS-rank super dungeon. In a hellish entrance area, this monster encounters the hunters. Coming from an unknown land called Korea, these warriors enter his home and seek its treasures. 

With the strength of itself alone, the monster starts a terrifying tenure of death and bloodshed as it defends its home from the hunters.

It was time of rush and they were running; two or three completely unaware why they were running. After the first hunt all were very positive. Almost all of them first time ever faced a level six monster. It was adventure in itself. As for the tricks of the fellow hunter; they had been facing it from the very beginning of the hunting career. They did not mind it as long the hunting keep going. "Why we are chasing the hunter?" One of the hunters asked the other. He was cannot see any benefit in chasing him when they cannot catch him matching his pace. 
"Chase him if you want to meet another monster; simple logic." The hunter shook his shoulders. His eyes were fixed on the young hunter; if his observation was not wrong the hunter was youngest among them. The way he snatched the experience points from a level six monster was another feat noticeable. From his appearance he did not resemble to the hunt snatchers yet the way he caught the last rope was admirable. Hunters rarely show such guts in front of stronger opponents. 
His methods were different; his ways were sharp and fearless. It was signs of his ambitious personality. Hunters fear no one; literally no one but the ambitious hunters. There were number of reasons behind this fear. First of all the ambitious hunters never give up on risks; alone this fact was cruel in the eyes of others. Whoever team up with them end up dumb played by them. The ambitious hunters hate to stay or stopover; they never get tired or exhausted. The hunter was observing the young hunter and mumbling. He wished to follow this hunter but it depend whether they got to the test pass and then appear in one team. 
It was not that he did not fear the young hunter; he does fear but he knew some critical points; following an ambitious hunter was beneficial in terms of leveling up. Though it was risky but rewards awaits them who risk; it was rule of the nature and the world, the hunter was aware of this rule. "Are you sure man?" The hunter running beside him asked unsure. "I am hundred percent sure." The hunter nodded and kept following. Half of them wanted to stop this hunter and then see his guts. 
They were not much happy about his pace, they were using full strength and running forward still unable to run beside him. Qiao was not facing such problem instead he was observing the surrounding so that the hunter could be spotted. They were required to return back near evening. He slightly turned his neck to see the hunter chasing behind him. From their tired expressions; they were not brewing some evil intentions to stop and then butcher. They seemed tired. Qiao scrambled his hair and nodded. The fact he was running too far in search of monster. 
"I am too neglectful; my soldiers are getting tired." Qiao mumbled and seriously start to look for the monster slowing down his pace. "Worry not buddies; now I am seriously looking for monster, pardon my negligence." He shouted to increase their dedication. They heard his words and wanted to pull their hair. 'What was he doing until now? Was he testing their rush power? How cruel?' Now they seriously wanted to grab him and equal their anger at him. They noticed his slow pace and confirmed his words. He was speaking truth. It increased their anger too. "Let me pass this test and then you cannot escape my wrath." Someone frustrated voiced. 
Qiao did not hear his words because he was focused at a monster; this monster was leisurely moving around. Qiao wanted to know the reason behind carefree wandering. If the other monsters were in surrounding then he just need to skip this choice. Since the hunters were noticing his actions they understood the presence of a monster in the vicinity. Qiao stopped and gestured them to not make voiced. It would make the monster alert about their presence. They stopped as well and silence prevailed though they cannot see the monster yet. 
Before they could attack at the hunter they saw the monster. Qiao slowly moved near the monster after making sure that it was alone in the world, few hundred feet area of the world actually. The monster was unaware about their presence. The hunters always show powerful they were and they emit out their aura to threat other yet their feet become the cat feet when they spot a monster. They never failed masking this way. The delicate movements really resemble the ancestor of the cats moving toward the prey. Those built up bodies and the manly charm suddenly changes the sides and they look predators. 
Qiao was the head of these predators right now though he knew that all of them want to behead the head. However he cannot care about it least. It was world of hunting and he was hunter did not matter if he had to hunt a hunter in case or in situation. His aim was bigger and his ambitions were bright just like the glint in his eyes. Qiao sneaked the hunter and intentionally moved at the other side of the monster. Sometimes distance was for good reason. After all he was not distancing from his girlfriend that she would mind it. 
The hunters were now focused now. This monster was in no hurry unless it happened to see them all. "How we are going to hunt?" Someone murmured under breath. "You are asking as if you never hunted before." The hunter near him scolded. The previous hunt was done out of blue. In presence of many hunters it was easy still many careless got hurt. 
They were eight in numbers. Forming a team and then hunting might not cost them any damage but who would care the order of someone among them? "Let's go all out and hunt; see what the result is." The level six hunter voiced.

Jonathan: "zora magdaros what's that?"

Simon: "I Dont know all the details but they should be on there way here thats why these tremors keep happening"

'This could be trouble but if something that big is on its way here then other people should be there'

Jonathan: "ok let's go i need to see what this monster looks like"

joan: "you sure you want to go it could be extremely dangerous"

'she's right i dont know what's waiting for me there but... why not what's the point of living if you dont take any risk

Simon looked suprised but then smiled liking my answer

Jonathan: "ok so do any of you know were to go?"

Jane: "nope"

She nuggeld into me biting my neck annoying me 'but i cant lie that feels good'

Jonathan: *sigh* "Simon do you know were to go?"

He then smiled 

Simon: "yup but to get there a little more easy you need to be able to fly"

I looked at him like he was crazy

Jane:"that's easy come on lets go" 

She got off me spreading her wings out getting ready to take off simon also got up getting his belongings together

Jane: "ok come on jon lets go

Jonathan: "uhhh i cant"

Jane: "Hm why is that?" 

Jonathan: "i-i dont know how to fly ok"

Jane and simon both looked at me like i just told the worst dad joke in existence 

Simon:"werent you ever taught to fly when you were little"

Jonathan: "uuh"

 'Crap i cant tell them that im from a different world they might think im a fucking lunatic

Jonathan: "no see i was raised by a.... Rajang as a child

'What the fuck did i just say?'

Simon: "A rajang?"

Jonathan: "yes my mother died when i was a tiny baby naking me fend for myself when i was scavenging for food a wild rajang found me and for some reason started to take care off me and you know they cant fly so i was never taught how to"

'Please please believe meeee'

Jane: "i belive him"

'YES!!'

simon:"what that story has to be made up there's no way a wild rajang took care of him when he was a baby"

'Simon please SHUT THE FUCK UP AND JUST BELIEVE ME'

jane:"hey were you there when he was a child if no then i dont think you can really say he's lying about this"

Simon started at me skeptically 

Simon:"fine fine i believe you can we just go now please" 

'Phew'

Since i couldn't fly the walk there was long as hell i wanted to just pass out but knowing how close we were i just sucked it up and kept walking. As we got there we found a large gate and cannons all around the area and what also suprised me was seeing people like ACTUAL people we quickly hid so we wouldn't be spotted

Jonathan:"woah there's actual people here?"

Simon:"yeah there called hunters and if i were you i would keep a low profile if they see you you're dead

I shivered i forgot how ruthless hunters were i guess i have to be really careful now they were talking about something giving us time to sneak around them and head into a little cave area waiting for zorah to show up

Jonathan: "i hope thet don't take forever to show up i cant stand waiting"

Just as i said that i heard a tremor a really closer one, it kept coming until i saw it my jaw dropped at the sight of it it looked like a freaking island it was just so insane to see a monster look like that

Simon: "Awsome"

Jane: "That's the monster i thaught it was a moving rock"

Simon sighed secretly calling her a idiot

Simon: "so Jonathan what do you think"

He looked over to me waiting for my response but i didnt answer

Simon:" hey Jonathan"

He snapped his fingers in my face

Simon:"yoohoo earth to Jonathan"

I grabbed his hand 

Jonathan:"we need to go up there"

Simon was taken back by what i said

Simon:"what no if we go out there we will be spotted by the hunters and do you not see how big that thing is"

I blovked everything he was saying out and grabbed him jumping out of the cave alerting the hunters and jumping on zorah's  back letting simon go

Simon:"ARE YOU INSANE!"

Jonathan: "probably"

Simon sighed 

Simon: "this isnt the time to be making jokes, what about jane"

I looked down seeing a surprised jane staring at us

Jonathan:"dont worry she'll be fine if anything happens she can fly out of here"

Simon:"why are we even up here anyway"

Jonathan:"i thaught i saw something flying up here"

Simon:"what you thaught you saw something what happened if what you saw wasn't real you just baught us up here to die"

Jonathan:"oh please were not gonna die"

I then felt something hit my head leaving a nice bruise i see the hunters trying to hit me with ranged wepons 

Jonathan:"ok yea we might die today"

Simon jumped on my back and i ran to the farthest part of zora to escape the hunters vision i start to lose balance as the zorah is fighting the hunters i see 5 of them land on its back 3 were woman 1 was a male one of the female hunters ran at me

???:"you're life ends here barioth"

She then shot a arrow at me but missed when i side step i accidentally knocked her down when i did that 'uh oh i hope she's ok'

???:"ow"

I stood over her staring at her she shriveled up scared fearing i was going to hit her but stopped when she saw me bring her wepon back she looked at me perplexed i tried to talk to her but i dont think she understood me i heard a hunter scream running towards me it was the male

???: "get your hands of crystal you big fat smelly barioth"

He leaped at me with a insect glaive but was stop in midair when i caught it with my paw throwing him away he landed on his butt angry

???:"you stupid barioth im go-

???:"RAGGHHHHHH"

we all looked up to see a spiky monster it was bigger than any other monster I've seen and way more buff also sporting the same feminin look as the other monsters she looked ready to kill and i unluckily was her target she jumped at and straight up punched me 

Jonathan:"what the fuck why did you punch me you pschyco bitch?!"

She had the nerve to smile at me

???:"if your so angry why don't you fight back you big toothed bi-"

I punched her right back in her face'im tired of everyone coming at my teeth' she stumbled back holding her jaw laughing licking her lips

???:"i love it when they fight back it really gets me in the mood"

Gets her in the Ew what 'you know what im goona pretend i didn't here that'

She threw a fast punch at me that i nearly miss but not before grabbing me by the throat and choke slamming me in the ground i try to grab something any thing on the floor but felt my body lift up from the ground

???:"I'll think I'll take you home with me my other little plaything died but I think you'll be able to satisfy me for a while

I started to panic flailing in her grip i used some of my energy to detach one of her fingers fron my neck

Jonathan:"Simon... help me please

Simon heard me quickly scavenging in his back until he pulled out what looked like to be a mini catapult. He picked up some rocks and loaded them in he shot a couple at the monster but missed all of them 'he shoots like a fucking stor trooper' on his last shot he got her in the eye forcing her to drop me

???:"gah dont act so happy now long tooth ill come back for you and when i do you would of wished you never made me angry"

She flew away making me happy i looked back at the frightened hunters contemplating on what i should do to them but got stopped when something grabbed me picking me up

Jane:"ok time to go"

She was lifting me in the air 

Jonathan:"what hey let me go"

Simon:"hey wait for me

Simon grabbed onto my leg as we flew away

Simon:"sigh finally back home gosh im so tired"

Jane:"yea me to"

They both went to sleep leaving me alone with my thaughts 'im surprised we could survive something like that and knowing there are hunters her has made things even harder for me'

I laid back on the vines feeling sleepy 

Jonathan:"i really hope i dont see those hunters or that spiky monster again"

Arthur A once human hunter on his journey to the new world wanting to explore the environment and maybe stay a few monsters now turned into a barioth.

now stuck as a barioth how will he deal with the empending danger of dangerous monsters that either want him for food or as a potential mate.

"Iris, I'll be gone for a while okay? I'll make sure that people starts coming to our dungeon so that we can continue to develop it."

"Sure! I'll keep watch on the surroundings until you come back." Iris said with a joyous expression. She could feel her good fortune when she had found Jin which who was willing to join her as a dungeon master.

Ever since she had created the dungeon, for a few months already, she hadn't been able to bring people in the dungeon and only some weak monsters had been coming to her dungeon. Iris hadn't dared to use her GP since she had only managed to gain some after a few months of hard work.

She didn't have any plans for how to make people come and start as a real dungeon master. As such, the only thing she could do was continue to search for a companion to work with and she really had started to feel lonely after all this time. 

However, just these few hours with Jin had already made her quite happy. Compared to her days of solitude, she felt that  being in company of someone else was quite fun. Not only that, but after Jin had told her his plan, she had immediately understood the principle behind his idea and had given full support in it.

To make the first floor a free-monster floor and adding coal and copper in the walls to bring people to mine in the dungeon. Not only that but the mine was only half of the first floor. The other half was a beautiful green land with a river flowing in the middle of it. Jin had bought a "blue sky" to make it seem like they were above ground. As such, if everything went as predicted, the people mining would eventually build houses on the first floor of the dungeon so that they don't have to leave the dungeon every day. 

Not only this, but with a floor unique to this dungeon, it was sure to gather attention to adventurers and other miners. Without forgetting that these adventurers that would come would be able to protect the dungeon from the animals and monsters coming from the outside to protect themselves. It was truly a profitable idea to make a floor like this one.

And when he made the second floor, he had tough about which monsters to have in the dungeon and he finally went with the undeads. At least to begin with because they were able to feed themselves with malice which came from the mana of the dungeon. This was one of the best side of the dungeon. No matter which kind of mana a monster needed, the dungeon would transform it to fit with the monster as such he didn't need to think about giving food to his monsters since they would "eat" the mana.

Even tough he had spent almost every GP she had collected over the few last months, she was truly happy that she had found someone reliable who could think out of the box to help the dungeon. She knew she didn't have the same capabilities than him and had already prepared herself to be a second caracter even tought the dungeon originally belonged to him until she became parter with Jin.

She hummed a song happily as she waited for Jin to come back from the city to complete his plan.

Jin left the dungeon and arrived directly behind a waterfall in the forest. He looked a little bit around before starting to walk on the path towards the forest. He looked at his steps as the rocks were wet.

The waterfall wasn't falling from that high. It was approximatly 9 or 10 meters high and the entrance of the dungeon seemed to be approximatly at the middle of it.

When he got out of the path of slipery rocks, the first thing he had to do was make a way to walk. The entrance was full of dead leaves, branch and there was even a small tree that had fallen in front.

 No wonder no one ever found the entrance of the dungeon Jin tought while moving the tree out of the way. Luckily the tree was small or he would have had no way to more it out of the way.

For his plan, Jin had planned to go to the town to show the coal and copper. However, he didn't have great feelings for humans as such, he would like to meet the minimum of them Even if he was in another world, he firmly believed that humans would be humans no matter which world he was in. So he would try not to get entangled with them. He only needed to show the place where they could find the ores and than he only needed to wait and see the resumts.

Jin  tought of finding the hunting team that Iris had talked about instead of looking for the village. So, he set his eyes to find the hunting team.

Following Iris directions she had given him before he left the dungeon, he arrived at a lakeshore not far from the dungeon. The trees were overflowing with life and the animals of the forest were mostly all coming to this place to drink since the water seemed rather pure.

He turned around the entire lake twice before finally noticing the hunters of the village. They were currently near the shore of the lake while some were holding fishing rods and others were holding their bows aiming at some animals not far from their position.

Jin immediately saw that they were a group of expert hunters as they made no noise while hunting and they all followed the orders of the one who seemed to be the lesder without any problem.

After waiting for a while, Jin finally decided to make his presence known to the warriors so he made a slight noise while coming towards them to notify them that he was coming.

This tactic worked perfectly well as some of the hunters walked towards him with a worried look on their face.

"Are you okay?" Do you need any help?" The warrior who seemed to be the leader asked me because I had cut myself while moving the tree and other oddities in front of the dungeon entrance. As such, he believed that Jin had actually fought a monster and managed to escape.

Remembering his goal for meeting with them, Jin flashed a smile while answering him politly that he was fine. Instead he took out the two rocks he had found and showed them to the warrior. 

"This is the reason I was bruised all over. I found these rocks in a cave near here and since they looked kind of precious I took them. But I really don't know what they are used for."

The hunter immediately looked at the "rocks" in Jin hands before he looked at Jin with a face full of shock and happyness.

"You have to show us where you found these rocks! They are extremly important to us!"

"Oh! Yes! Of course I will show you, it is not far from here!"

Jon snickered in his head while mentally patting his back and praising himself for the good job.

Since the hunters were still mostly hunting food for the vllage, he followed Jin with 3 other guards and they arrived at the entrance of the rocky path a few minutes later.

Without hesitation, Jin walked in the slipery path of rock towards the entrance of the cavern.  The hunters behind Jin kept up with him even tough they were slipping a little bit more than Jin bucause of the weight of their armor.

And finally, they arrived in front of the dungeon and Jin entered without further consideration for the hunters.

They quickly followed him inside the dungeon to see coal and copper in the walls of the cave.

The story present the life of Jin, an 18 years old boy who doesn’t like humans. 

One day, he meets a demon and this meeting will change his life forever.

He become a dungeon master together with the demon girl he met and together, they will strive to create the strongest dungeon.

Jin and Iris (the demon girl) will work together to protect their lives as they create the best dungeon which will become a trial to humanity given by the gods.

December 31, 2150 was the day that humanity faced a real terror in their hearts. All of the sudden, the Earth shook and the Sun turned black out of nowhere. Huge  pillars came out of the ground around the world. When the pillars stopped, vortex appeared in the middle of it. Then tons of monsters came out and killed anyone it its path.

Humanity almost got wiped out, even military equipments were no use. Guns, lasers, grenades, tanks, and etc. All were useless, it cannot penetrate the skin of the monsters. Days, weeks, and months of survival, half of humanity got wiped off from the face of the earth.

Doom was near and the humans lost all hope to survive. They can no longer hold out until one day, something weird happen to the people of age 14-50. They somehow all got the title of "Hunter" in front of them and a card. In the card, it shows them their name, level, skills, status, and etc. It was totally like a game. But others cannot see your status if you do not show it to them. 

It seems that only Hunters can see the Name and Level, that's all. But when they got the title "Hunter" it feels like they got a huge power up. They can now slowly fight the monsters, it would take 10 hunters to beat 1 monster. And there are over thousands of monsters in every country while the Pillar with a vortex or so called Gate was now slowly closing and monsters rarely come out.

Days by days, weeks by weeks, months by months, and until it took them 5 years to finally annihilate all the monsters in the surface. Humanity finally got back on its feet again. Tons of Hunters are now very strong that a single monster is like an ant to them. The "Hunter" has now established a Guild which will protect each state of a country. 

In America 52 Guild Branch was formed, one in each state to protect in case of another monster outbreak. The Pillars are now called 72 Demons of King Solomon. Why? Because each Pillars has a sigil on the front before you can get inside, each sigil represents the  72 demons that King Solomon evoked. But something was shrouded in mystery, only 71 Pillar came out and 1 was missing. This had caused a huge commotion to where its location.

Another 20 years had passed by just like that, new hunters rises, more monsters become stronger. Guild Branches are the Hope of humanity. And once a year, monster outbreak happens. Now humanity has created a place where everyone is safe. They made an underground space where people would stay there for the mean time while the Hunters wipe out the monsters.

Hunters were categorized by rank based on their achievement and strength. F-rank to S-rank was the way it was organized, so far only 10 made it to S-rank around the world, while there are thousands of A-rank, millions of B to F-ranks.

Almost everyone aspired to be a Hunter, aside from getting tons of money from selling the things that the monster drop. Hunters are paid a huge sum of money when they join a Guild and can be guranteed a good life for the whole family. Aside from wealth, they gain fame. Even the lowest ranking of hunters can easily kill a regular human. Hunters at the lowest rank are 5x stronger than regular humans.

And one of those aspiring to be a hunter, Stefano Hawkin. A 16 year old boy, who was born during the 4th wave of Monster Outbreak when his mom was giving birth to him. 

He look up to those hunters and wanted to become one of them. But that expectation was crushed by reality. Almost every Hunters he meets looks down on him as if he is lower than an ant.

Hunters had become arrogant, if they kill a fellow hunter, it would be a huge crime but if they kill an ordinary human. They would just pay a sum of money. And money was not a problem for hunters, even new hunters can get a good equipment that was being sold in the Market by other Hunters.

Stefano always wanted to awaken his Hunter's potential so he can help his mother who single-handedly raised him because his father was killed during the Monster Outbreak. They had financial problem, his mom owes a lot of money. His mother is very pretty at age of 34, she still had a very nice body which others always try to take advantage of her by making her owe money but of course, she refused all of that. She had suffered a lot, he wanted to atleast carry some of her burdens. She works almost 18 hours a day of having multiple jobs. She goes here, then there, then to there, and so on just to get some money.

My mom and I lived in America, at Los Angeles, California. Good thing is that my mom inherited a house from my grandma or else we would be staying in an apartment and pay for it. LA rent is very expensive, 3k$ for a single bedroom. My mom rarely makes 3k a month.

"Hmmm?" out of nowhere, he wonders. Why before they moved here in this house, he never went down to their basement. His mother told him it was full of things and it might collapse on him, but didn't really forbid him from going down there.

Curiosity killed the cat is indeed true. I never expected going down here would make me discover something unconceivable. There was a stair leading all the way down beneath our basement and before you can even go down. There was a huge Golden Sigil sign on the entrance. My heart raced like as if it would explode at any moment. This is a motherf****ng Pillar!!! What is it doing here?!?

Stefano was unable to grasped the situation and started to panicked and was sacred that monsters might come out so he rushed back up to his house and went straight to his room.

Few minutes had passed and Stefano was now calm but was still in shock, he quickly researched more about the 72 Demon Pillars and found each and every location of it except that last one was a question mark. That means, the Pillar on his basement was the last Pillar that everyone has gone crazy looking for it.

This is a huge thing, I need to grasp the situation first. Should I call the government right away, or keep it hidden. This could get me a huge sum of money as a reward of finding it. But first, even if its dangerous, I must try to go in. 

Stefano grabbed the biggest knife in his kitchen. It was a butcher's knife, he also had his man made armor of woods in his chest and a biker's helmet. He always trained his physical body, he also competed in Martial Arts for ordinary humans and won some of them and now he will face a battle of his life as soon as he gets into that dungeon.

For thousand of years, Earth has gone through many evolutions that led us here, 2150 the present day. Until one day, 71 Dungeons appeared around the World. This Dungeons was called "The King Solomon's Demons" but wasn't it supposed to be 72? Why is there only 71 that came out?

Follow our young protagonist as he discovered the last dungeon underneath the basement of his house.

Over the last year preparations had been underway for the Galactic Empire to step into the world stage. Even if Dax did show off his drones and weaponry to the central kingdom's nobles and to some extend the 14th sanctuary when using then to suppress the north, but this time it was different. Now that Dax had finally gathered the numbers needed there was no more reason to stay hidden, from now on drones would patrol the streets near the complex in Kingstead openly without cloaks, The CAS-7A and other aircraft would no longer do stealth landings and takeoffs, but most importantly there would be no more negotiations or bowing down to foreign powers: Now it was either submit fully and unconditionally or be destroyed. The reasons for that included personal pride, problems maintaining logistic chains but most importantly it would be infinitely easier to openly subdue hostiles and size salvageable technology from them if Dax and his drone army can operate without restrictions.
"They sure are energetic, this year's escorts…"

At first some of the teachers had worried about the number of escorts this time around. Normally there would be around 100 knights and monster hunters moving with the convoy to protect them and the students from monsters and bandits, but this time there were just 7 in total. About 50 horse drawn carriages moved at walking pace throughout the Kingdoms rural countryside, normally this would be easy pray for a number of different monsters and people with ill intentions, but things are not always as they appear. With a birds eye view of the entire area Lux quickly dashes around the place, jumping several meters into the air and cleanly clearing the top of a carriage for the nth time and lands on the opposing side before steadying herself and letting lose a single round from her rifle. About 500 meters away a single green skinned goblin that mistakenly wandered within range of the convoy breathes it last breath as its head explodes in a mist of graymatter and green blood, it was dead before it hits the ground. With Lux alone flawlessly handling every single monster Dax handels the more sensitive matters while Terra acts as his backup.
"Move the carriage, or it will be moved."
"B-but s-sir the rear axel is broken, it's stuck."
About 1 kilometer ahead of the convoy stands a broken down carriage, along with what looks like a profusely sweating merchant.
"Then get the people that paid you to get it stuck there to move it."
"I-I-I have nothing to do with this!!"
Having his ploy seen through the merchant starts running away from the masked man standing in front of him, but he only makes it about 10 meters before an arrow hits his back, reaping his life.
"Fucking useless trash, boys it's time to work! I call dibs on the girl escort!"
The source of the arrow reveals itself to be a bandit that was hiding nearby with his comrades. When word got out that the magic academy didn't intend to hire any escorts for their yearly expedition a lot of their type pounced at the opportunity to take advantage of the situation, this is already the 3rd group of such caliber they have run into this day.
"... Your turn Terra."
"..."
"This was the arrangement."
"Fiiine."
With great reluctance Terra stepped up as she put away her rifle before she addressed the bandits currently charging her.
"This is your last chance to surrender…. No takers? Okay then, don't blame me."
About 10 minutes later when the convoy passed the place they only saw a trashed carriage that had been thrown out on the field at the side, along with a series of grown tough looking men that were crying their eyes out after getting man handled by a women half their size, before being buried the ground, leaving only their heads above ground.
"They really are effective, this year's escorts…"

"Fucking academy!"
But not everyone were happy with the academy choosing new escorts for their yearly expedition. Normally the academy would temporary employ hundreds of monster hunters in the late fall when their normal contracts would be drying up, so this year when they changed their minds apparently out of nowhere a lot of people were upset, some monster hunters even missed their rent and were kicked out on the street. A lot of those now homeless and extremely pissed hunters had gathered in cheap bars to drown their range in shitty beer while voicing their frustrations.
"How the fuck can they just change attitude right as worthwhile monsters start to go into hibernation?! Now we're stuck all winter hunting fucking goblins and smiles!"
The yearly expedition normally proved steady employment, not to mention the academy paid handsomely out of fear that monster hunters would boycott the expedition and place their priceless students in danger, so even a normal guard job could set up a hunter for the winter. In response to the outrage from serval monster hunters, as well as worry from the parents of students the academy simply stated they had found that their teachers were more than sufficient in protecting the students and that they had no obligation to employ the countless monster hunters that came to rely on the yearly contracts that had provided.
"We need to teach them a fucking lesson!"
"Yeah! If a few of the fucking brats end up dead they'll learn to not just cast us aside!"
As the drunk hunters fueled each others rage and mounting frustrations a single cloaked figure entered the bar and sat down at before ordering a beer in a relaxed manner. After the beer arrived he paid the server, but instead of having a drink the cloaked figure rubbed a coin against the glass, making a loud and jarring sound that instantly silenced the surrounding hunters before speaking up in a voice that was obscured with a magic spell.
"I come here representing my employer that is presenting a job opportunity to everyone interested, the pay is a single gold coin per person, as well as the immense satisfaction of getting back at those that have wronged all of you."


After crash landing in what turns out to be a fantasy world, the orbital marine Dax will have to fight the powers that
occupy the world to reclaim the technology that got stranded along with him and eventually repair his crashed ship
to return to his own world.
On the way he discovers the rule breaking power of mana, a special particle that seems naive to the world he now
is a part of. Feeling seriously outgunned Dax places a priority on regaining his lost weaponry that is scattered
throughout the world, ranging in size and effectiveness from electromagnetically powered assault rifles,
powered exoskeletons and autonomous drones from the size of a spying UAV to heavy assault ships.
But the marine is not alone in his search those weapons, the powers of the world he now finds himself a part of is
quickly realizing that something outside their realm of understanding has graced the planet and that those artefacts
trapped inside large floating black sphere’s hold vast strategic value. Dax is then faced with a complex problem,
he must secure the technology that he needs to leave while at the same time make sure the tools of war from his world is not misused at the cost of being made a target by powers he fails to fully understand.

On his way Dax will have run ins with various powers, some of them hostile, some of them a bit more amenable to persuasion and mutual cooperation. After all, what is a knight, king, angel, demon or grand wizard to a railgun or even a tactical class high energy laser in orbit?

They’re soft targets.

Giant Salamander Has four feet. Each foot has five toes. Or is it fingers? Well, if I count its front feet as hands, then maybe ten fingers and ten toes. In any case, the Giant Salamander has twenty toes. And I managed to break twelve of them.
Two from its right front foot, three from its left front foot, two toes in its left hind foot, and all five of its right hind foot.
The Giant Salamander has difficulty maintaining its balance with its heavy weight. It tried to stand with its palms on the ground, but it's only making that Giant Salamander unable to move. Standing on its four feet is the only thing it can do. But with its tail on behind it, it can still barely able to move by using its tail as a pivot.
Did it do this instinctively? If so, that's awesome!
Well, thanks to it using its tail as pivot to help it move, I know that this lizard no longer has any means to attack me. The Giant Salamander has no means to attack under its body other than slamming its own body to the ground. But once it did that, it won't be able to stand anymore.
"Damn! You're evil!" Victoria exclaimed as I explained to her my plan.
"Hahaha! As long as we win! If we defeat this monster, not just your time will be full. I can also probably raise my summoning level! As for this lizard's fire around its body, those things don't have any effect on me! I'm nearly invincible even though I'm not proud to what I have to wear. The heat doesn't bother me anyway!" I said as I'm aiming for another one of the lizard's toes.
"…it should be the cold." Victoria whispered something.
"Heat or cold, neither of them can harm me at the moment!"
"That's not what I'm talking about, but sure. Are you going to keep hammering its toes like this? This lizard doesn't have much toes anymore." Victoria asked.
"Of course not! Once people realized that this thing unable to move, they would swarm over here and cast their magic to attack this thing. There's no way those people would try to leave such easy kill alone. All of them are fighting over the fame of defeating this monster. Unless they are smart."
Smart people won't try to gain achievement this way. It will only cause trouble for themselves. If the story that this monster was defeated by some weak hunters spread, and the rumor is different from the fact, those hunters will gain recognition and will be trusted to receive difficult tasks.
I can see from the gate that many people already noticed how the Giant Salamander has difficulty moving and they are started to approach us. Some of them even already casted magic from that far.
There are even hunters who have retreated into the city, returning back to the battlefield hoping for an achievement. I really want to kill them.
Meanwhile, the Giant Salamander realized that it will be surrounded soon, so it prepared to use its flame breath attack again. Although during the fight I managed to turn its body slightly so it no longer looking at the city, it can still move its neck. And it is aiming for the idiot hunters who are coming straight from the city. Which means if those idiots can't block the fire breath, the city will be in danger.
Well, I have faith that the fire will hit those idiots! Please die for the sake of the citizen! I hope the damage to the city won't be too big.
Oh, wait! The smarter hunters are actually still near the gate and didn't move at all! And they are cooperating in building barriers from ice and earth to stop the fire breath!
They should be able to protect the city. I will try to smash another toe wishing that it will scream in pain again and attacked the sky, but seems like the Giant Salamander can now endure the pain and still aimed at the incoming hunters.
Obviously, most of them died. Some of them had half of their bodies burnt. Some lost their limbs. But they are all idiots so I don't really pity them at all.
The fire goes on until it hits the barrier and stops.
After that, the smarter hunters are spread right and left, making sure no one is in a straight line to the city as they get closer to the Giant Salamander. As for the idiots, most of them retreating again.
I think there are more hunters than before even including the ones who retreated. Maybe it means the other areas are already safe.
As for the airborne troops, the wyverns seem to be retreating after they feel the heat of the fire breath from the Giant Lizard. So Kron and the others are coming here.
Having so many reinforcements is fine and all, but I hope I will be the one who hit this lizard last since I want to improve my summoning level quickly. I'm curious about monsters' world and what kind of monster I can get contract with.
Back to the battle. I'm going for another one of the Giant Salamander's toes, but seems like it gave up attacking other people.
It purposely pressed down its body as I'm still under this monster. If it was anyone else, they would be pressed to death. But I'm faster than other people. I can escape before I got caught.
Now seeing the Giant Salamander on its belly, should make it easier for me, but that's wrong.
The Giant Salamander still has a lot of strength in all four of its legs. With putting the heels of its feet to the ground, it can still stand up again while enduring the pain from its broken toes.
"Look! Whatever you did before are all useless! Attacking its toes doesn't mean anything!"
Victoria sure loves to complain.
"At least its movement is slowed down significantly. Now, what to do? Maybe I'll just pierce its brain or its heart. I guess I should aim at its heart. But attacking from its chest might be difficult since it might press down its body again. Maybe from its back?" I thought.
I run on its side climbing to its back with my feet sticking to it. With my Divine Vision's see-through ability, I can see where its heart is located. The heart's location is closer to its back than its chest. But the back is harder, I guess I need a better weapon to be able to hit that far.
"Roy, what weapon will you use?" While climbing on the Giant Salamander's back, Victoria asked me.
"I'm still thinking. Do you have any suggestion?" I asked back.
"I do. I'll show you once you've arrived on its back."
"We're here anyway. I'm right above its heart. What weapon will you show me?"
While chatting with Victoria, I have arrived to where I'm going. Not on top of its back, but right above its heart. This way, I just need to pierce through below me to kill it.
And Ms. Wendy already arrived here while carrying Candy, and Candy is attacking the Giant Salamander's head. Candy attacked with lightning magic to its eye, but the Giant Salamander dodge it and the lightning struck its forehead. But it didn't do much damage. I guess its forehead is really the strongest part of this Salamander.
And then all the other hunters also arrived. Even another group of idiots is coming.
From head to tail, this Giant Salamander is covered with fire. But there are still many idiots here attacking with fire magic.
"Roy, I'll show you the best weapon for this occasion!" Victoria said.
Then the armored part in my right hand, where Victoria usually transformed into sword or hammer, changed into a… drill?
"It's a drill! Cover this drill with your Aura and make it spin over and over again on the target!"
"Victoria… you are the best! This is a great idea!" I praised Victoria for her idea.
"Hehe… of course I know you will like it. I am the one closest to you after all. I know your preference."
Seems like she's thinking of what I want as well. I'm grateful for her help.
Meanwhile, the Giant Salamander noticed I'm on its back and it keep shaking its body trying to threw me. But with my Aura ability, I can stick my feet to its back like a glue. I'm more of a lizard than this Giant Salamander.
"Victoria. Can you spin fast enough for the drill to dig through this thick scales' back?"
"That's up to you. See that thing beside the drill that looks like a reel for fishing? Just spin it real fast."
I looked at where she told me, and there's indeed something I can spin. I tried spinning the reel and the drill indeed spinning. It spun as fast as I spin the reel.
Now that I know how to use the drill, I stick the tip of the drill right above the heart and spun the reel as fast as possible.
At first, it was quite though drilling the scale. But I spun the reel faster and the drill finally break through the scale after just a few minutes. Of course the Giant Salamander tried to fight back, but I'm immune to fire at the moment. Other hunters must be thinking that I'm burning, but I'm totally fine. And even if someone else is wearing the stocking, only those with air magic can breathe in this place.
After drilling through its scale, the rest are easy. The skin, the muscle, it was easy to pierce those and I purposely attack it in between its ribs so there is no bone between me and its heart.
The Giant Salamander stopped its fire and keep flailing about because of the pain, but I ignore it. I wonder how a quadrupedal animal scratch their back?
And I find the answer soon enough. The Giant Salamander tried flip its body upside down to press its back on me. Knowing I'm in danger, I enlarge the drill and make a huge hole from where I first drilled its body enough for me to enter.
Because of the first hole I dig, it was easy and I can enlarge the hole enough for me to enter. I'm totally covered in blood. As for the smell, I have air magic to cover my nose and mouth with.
After I entered its back, I changed the drill again to a smaller type since it's faster. While I'm upside down and shaking, I drilled through its heart.
Finally, the Giant Salamander stopped moving and died.
"Roy! I can feel it! I'm finally able to take control of this slime fully!"
"I know! I can feel that there's some kind of power entering my body and improving my summoning element! I think I'll be able to reach Intermediate level soon!"
We're both happy with the result. But there's one thing we forget. We're still inside the salamander's body and the place we entered from is blocked since the lizard is laying on its back.
I guess I should continue drilling until I left through its chest.
