Noku runs from the hospital for what seemed like an eternity until he ran into other “humans” only to discover he is in the same time period but on a different world. lia stood in front of ryujins house, clicking the doorbell three times with pauses in between. "why isn't she answering" lia mumbled in irritation as she looked through their messages hastily, double-checking, to confirm if she was at the right place. the older was sure of herself.

yep, lia was sure this was her house, it even had a 'shin residency' plate written in cursive on the bricked-wall. just as she was going to click the doorbell for the seventh time the door suddenly opened roughly with a tall handsome dude appearing, looking agitated and confused but that was wiped off his face as he saw the eye-candy right in front of him.

"hey, can i help you" hoseok asks the younger girl, laying his back on the wall, trying to look as cool and nonchalant as ever (clearly not working). "uhh, yeah im looking for shin ryujin."

"oh! felix's sister , sure come right i-" hoseok tried to welcome lia in but before he could even finish his sentence his face suddenly got plumaged against the grainy wall, by a specific someone. "hobi hyung what did i tell you about flirting with my friends, and why are you here aren't you supposed to be at the skate park with felix and the others," ryujin rolled her eyes as she let go of the male. hoseok was one of ryujins brothers friends, she had 5 of them, her being the youngest, and with that, the house was always crowded with males.(her friends state her competitive personality was induced by this) anyways ryujin thought that since she would be studying today, might as well chase them out of the house to the skate park so that the house can be a little quiet. "ouch, i just came back to get some water" hoseok caresses his cheek stinging at the spot, where he was scraped against.

lia couldn't hold it in anymore, she let out the cutest laughter ever seeing these two in front of her quarrelling over nothing. both of them shifted their attention on her "oh hey lia, sorry i had to take care of this little problem before i could let us start."

hoseok took off on his skateboard and the girls looked at one another again. lia was taken aback slightly. she's never seen ryujin in normal normal clothes before. the younger was wearing a supreme shirt (that was clearly too large for her frame) ,denim shorts that hugged her thighs just right, lia what are you thinking,and some flip flops, it definitely scram 'comfortable but chic' at the same time. the brunette coming back to her senses realised that she never replied the other. "oh , you have quite the grip there, i guess you are, a man on the inside." lia said mocking the younger.

"come right in pukeface." ryujin rolled her eyes and welcomed the older as she had no other choice than to choose her academic marks, itching to say something bad back to the older.

ryujins house was quite the mixture of homey and sumptuous, it was two-stories, had a pool and a mini basketball field in the back. inside the crib were loads of family photos and other weird shit that no one would use. 
it seems like ryujins athletic prodigious were gene induced, as lia was peeking at the countless trophies that were kept in 3 cabinets and pictures of her father and brothers receiving them in between too. all achievements were documented here, swimming, soccer, basketball, tennis, karate, volleyball omg you name it.lia suddenly felt the passion and dedication that brewed in this house.
 ryujin kept on strolling and lia was observing other things she hadn't known about the other it was quite nice. seeing a side that she never saw.they were now walking up the stairs towards ryujins room.

they entered the youngers room. 'ahhh' it smelled just like her. it looked just as lia had anticipated sporty,comfy,modern. the bed was situated in the middle of the room, with her trophy cabinet on the left cabinet and a manga stash in the right cabinet. right on top of the door was a basketball hoop and a pull-up bar. and bunny plushies on her bed, that ryujin hastily removed and shoved in a cupboard nearby in embarrassment.

silence filled the room and ryujin asked the older "you wanna eat anything?"

"nope, it's fine." lia already ate before coming there.

"ok"

"ok"

gosh this was so awkward for both of them.

 "let's begin." lia says with a tad-bit of enthusiasm suggested in her tone.

time passed by and this was actually starting to work out(kinda).the girls were sitting next to each other hip by hip in that spacious room (a little too close in lia's opinion) "ok ryujin so tell me what mitosis is."

"when a cell divides." ryujin grins as she is sure that she got this one right. "ryujin look you have to be more specific, you are literally throwing away marks like this." lia tuts as she corrects the younger.

"look, mitosis is a part of the cell cycle when replicated chromosomes are separated into two new nuclei. Cell division gives rise to genetically identical cells in which the number of chromosomes is maintained, see."

"but that's what i just said." raises her voice in annoyance.

the older can't stop herself from cooing at the blue-headed defence mechanism. it was too cute." look i get it, but that's just how it is in biology, you have to memorise long-ass paragraphs.and what's even sad is that half of the things you studied will be in that exam."

"that's dumb." ryujin sighs.

"ok next one, name the seven stages of mitosis." lia takes the flashcards she made for ryujin, glancing at the answers.

" uhm Interphase...Prophase...Prometaphase. ...Metaphase. ...Anaphase. ...Telophase...Cytokinesis," ryujin says with wide eyes as she is shocked to hear these words exiting her mouth, how she even got this in her brain will remain a mystery to herself.

lia was dumbfounded too, she was filled with so much happiness, feeling like this wasn't a waste of time. the adrenaline being too high , she decides on giving the younger a whole heartfelt hug clinging her hands all up to ryujiins neck. not thinking about the consequences. and what was even more peculiar was ryujins response, as she automatically slung her arms around lia's waist. bringing her body onto her lap.the older was too light,the younger pouted. lia was flustered of coarse letting out a tiny yelp exit her mouth.

 they both stayed in that position for a while. none of them not knowing what to do next. eyes evading each other ,just feeling the warmth as the hug spread throughout their bodies,absorbing all that body temperature ,lia nose nuzzling against ryujins neck, feeling tipsy just by the scent of minty vanilla tanking her whole being ,while the other rubbed circles around her back,closing her eyes,taking deep breathes. they didn't move, they sat like that for 15 minutes.

it just felt <right>...

"o-okay let's just revise the rest of today's chapter and then i'll have to leave, it's getting quite late" lia first to speak, awkwardly stood up and went back to her original sitting arrangement.

they both felt cold again, wanting to desperately reconnect.

"y-yeah sure let's just continue." ryujin parrots what the older said.

the end of their session didn't help at all, because ryujin didn't listen for jack. she only kept on admiring the elders doll-like features and kept on replying "yeah" "i see" "thats cool" as the brunette was enthusiastically teaching the lesson. ryujin couldn't help being under a daze.lia tried to push through.

they both know that after this nothing would be the same.

lia left her house with a quick bye and took a taxi back home, she couldn't stop fumbling her fingers against the palms of her hands ,plus her cheeks stewed as they were brushed in a light shade of pink.

Alexander was ecstatic at this amazing new reward from Bucephalus. The legendary mitosis skill! How much better could it get? He was pretty sure legendary was the best category skill that one could obtain! Also, the skill was just what he had been hoping for. This skill seemed to be tailored perfectly to Alexander. It would be his first step in building an empire!
He eyed the blue holographic screen with excitement and read the description of the skill.

Wow! It's even better than Alexander had originally thought! He would be able to make a completely new being that could learn and grow on its own!
He had to try it out. Alexander first had to find a place to recover his mana; it had all been used up while fighting the adult vampire rabbit. He rolled around for a minute before finding a soft patch of earth, in which he dug a hole. Using his digging skill to replace the dirt behind him, it was almost like he was slowly swimming through the earth. He dug a few feet into the ground and then stopped, fashioning himself a makeshift cave in which he could replenish his mana.
Alexander used his increased energy absorption skill to draw mana from the walls of the cave and slowly regained his mana.

Nice! Regaining mana would be much quicker now.
After Alexander had completely filled up his mana capacity, which was much greater than before due to his maxed out intellect, he came out of the cave to try his new skill. Emerging from the forest floor, Alexander readied himself for just what kind of being the skill would make
Would it make a slime exactly like him? How much mana would it use? How many slimes could he make at once? Of course, all he could do was try it and find out.
Alexander activated the mitosis skill, the magic formulas and knowledge of the proper mana control for the skill flowing into his head. The information contained in this skill was the most that he had ever attempted to process at once. Interestingly however, this seemed like the easiest it had ever been to process the information from a skill. His brain flew through the grunt work of categorizing the extremely detailed spells and mana control techniques, giving him instant access to any of the skill's data whenever he wanted it.
Of course! Alexander knew what must be happening. His intelligence stat that he had so highly raised had an effect on the processing power of his brain as well as his mana! It felt like he could process information as fast as a laptop that he remembered from his first life!
As he experimented further with his brain, he realized that his memory had also improved and he could draw up ideas and previous experiences from both of his lives extraordinarily quickly. This newfound memory would be invaluable if he ever needed knowledge from the 21st century!
Now that the skill had completely integrated into Alexander's brain, he was ready to cast it. Beginning from the very center of his core, Alexander began to draw on the hefty mana capacity which he had been honing for the last half of a month. At this point, Alexander had reached the maximum mana capacity for his level, which was measured at an astounding 12 mana points. This means he could produce six fire lances at one time!
Finally, Alexander started the skill. He pulled all of the mana out of his core, depleting it until the very last drop and moving it outside of his body. Slowly, according to his knowledge on the mitosis skill, he condensed and condensed the mana that was hovering in front of him. By the time he stopped condensing the mana, the ball of mana had become so dense that it had formed into a solid sphere.
The moment he finished the skill, slime tendrils shot out of the newly formed mana sphere and wrapped around and around until they formed into a large squishy mass that was almost identical to Alexander! He had made the slime's mana core! The newly formed slime wiggled a bit, attempting to discern its new surroundings. Although the slime was almost a carbon copy of Alexander, there was one very large difference. It was about the size of a basketball, which made the little slime extremely cute, although, Alexander guessed, not too effective in battle.
Luckily, Alexander knew that the tiny slime could level up from fighting monsters, just like Alexander himself. All he had to do was go grind levels with the slime and he would have a fearsome partner in crime!
"I must give this magnificent slime a fitting name as the first of its kind!" Alexander proclaimed. "You shall hereafter be referred to as Bjorn, meaning bear in a very cold country back on earth."
Bjorn continued to wiggle around, thoroughly confused. Alexander sighed. This may turn out to be more of a struggle than he had previously thought. He wove a mind bridge to his new baby slime. Bjorn stopped struggling and started to slowly roll towards Alexander.
"Bjorn? Can you hear me?" Alexander said hesitantly.
Bjorn said nothing and squished over to Alexander, nuzzling up against him like a small dog with its owner.
"Alright, I guess you can't talk," Alexander mused. "If you can understand what I'm saying, then move towards me."
Alexander rolled backwards. Bjorn followed, seeming to be getting the hang of his body a little bit better now.
After rolling back and forth a bit and talking to Bjorn, Alexander had deduced that Bjorn, although cute, was severely lacking in the intelligence department. He could understand simple commands, such as come, spin, or attack (Seeing a tiny slime attack a tree was a very cute spectacle).
Finally, it was time for the two to start off on their journey. Alexander turned towards the spot in the sky where the plume of smoke continued to billow into the sky a few miles away. Adventure awaits!

Elijah thought Alice would be excited but instead, she looked gloomy. He frowned. 

“It can’t be that simple,” Ben interjected. “This is the spinal cord we’re dealing with. Most of the nerve cells in the central nervous system can’t undergo mitosis. If the health potion works by accelerating cell division, it can’t work on those nerve cells.” 

Nerve cell division and regeneration were two different things. Mitosis is when a parent cell splits into two daughter cells which grow into their original size. It's essentially cloning. When a nerve cell regenerates, it attempts to grow its ‘arm’ from its stump. 

These arms are called axons, and they connect to other neurons. It is through these axons that they transmitted nerve impulses across the body. The same signals that tell muscle fibers to contract or sensory neurons like the ones on the skin letting the brain know that it detected heat, cold, pain, or pressure. 

A nervous system can lose connection to body parts when neurons have their axon connections severed or the neurons are entirely obliterated. 

Beck was about to say something. 

“Yes, I know neurons can regenerate but if time was all that is needed, Alice would be fine right?” 

Alice could recuperate forever, and she still won’t be able to walk again. So a potion that puts the natural healing rate into turbo-mode won’t work on an injury with stunted growth. 

“A simple acceleration of mitosis or regeneration wouldn’t work. However, Elijah regrew an eye with its optic nerve, the cells of which are part of the CNS. I think the health potion can stimulate mitosis in cells that cannot split.” Beck said,”But, it was fine for Elijah because his wounds are fresh. Older wounds are already flooded with special molecules that signal to the neurons to not grow their axons…” 

“We don’t know if this is going to work Elijah.” Ben summarized. 

“Aren’t you guys being pessimistic?” Elijah said. 

They were scientists. Innovators and problem solvers, who help pave the path to a new world. Shouldn’t they be optimistic? Elijah thought. 

Both Ben and Beck smiled. 

“We prefer the term, realistic,” Ben said. 

“There are over a hundred different paths of research to solve spinal cord injury paralysis, over a dozen scientific treatments, and no cure. The same can be said about thousands of other diseases. If we were so easy to invest our feelings in, we would have gone mad.” Beck explained. 

“But this is a *magic* potion.” 

“If magic was all-powerful, you wouldn’t be sent here to save the world, would you? It's not like the danger can disappear with a flick of a finger.” Ben said. 

Elijah couldn’t refute that. 

“Relax, it's not like we said we won’t try the potion,” Ben reassured him. 

This prompted Elijah to buy a [Lesser Health Potion] and pull it out of the inventory space. He wasn’t stingy about fixing Alice. 

The lesser health potion heals 100 HP for 10 credits while the [Health Potion] heals 500 HP for 100 credits. It is much more cost-effective, and he could heal more of Alice’s health this way. 

However, normal people have a much lower health cap than Elijah did. One lesser health potion is enough to heal even a fatal injury for an ordinary person. 

He tried handing it to Alice, but she wouldn’t move and wasn’t looking at him. 

Ben took the opportunity to take the red ampule away from his hand. 

“Then if the first potion won’t work, will you give us more potions?” Beck asked. 

The way Beck slyly asked left his mouth agape as he didn’t know what words to say first. 

“If we use a cocktail of drugs, we might remove all or some of the stop signals. The health potion might not work in one go.” Beck explained. 

“And since you could regrow your eyes. Amputation is an alternative.” Ben calmly said. 

“What?” Elijah asked in horror. 

“Alice would be under anesthetic of course… It's a Plan B relax,” said Ben. 

Elijah was reassured but still felt uncomfortable or disgusted when Ben talked about amputation so calmly. It sounded sick to think of that, but he understood why it may be necessary. 

He had a look of confusion when he saw that there was a dark shadow over Alice’s face. 

What was wrong with her? 

Ben saw the look of confusion and sought to enlighten him. 

“She’s doing the same thing as us, Elijah,” Ben said. 

“?” 

Ben continued, “she’s protecting herself for the chance that it might fail.” 

They were all expecting the worse or accepting the fact that it might not succeed. It's a common self-defense mechanism but also a healthy emotional regulatory technique. After all, putting all the eggs in a basket is risking breaking them all when the basket falls. 

Scientists with tools are like armed warriors on the frontline. They walk in the footsteps of other warriors — peer-reviewed science publications — to find solutions. Especially for a scientist, there are countless different ways to solve one problem. There’s never a shortage of hope and possibility in the science field. 

Every scientist believes that there is a solution to every problem, but they might not live to see it. Time is valuable to everyone. The solutions were like lights at the end of the tunnel. If the tunnel they chose is wrong, they have to go through another tunnel. The problem is there are complex networks of tunnels and the feeling of disappointment at the end of every tunnel is painful. 

Yet, having no hope was painful too. The irony. 

If the magic potion worked, Alice could walk again, but if it didn’t, then that pain was too unbearable to think about. She wasn’t sure how she should feel, but the answer is in the ampule. 

“Sorry, I’m not ready to take it right now,” Alice said quietly. 

The health potion was like a struggling student’s graduation results, they could choose any time to read it but didn’t know if they were ready. They were both curiously excited and afraid to see the answer. 

“That’s okay. I understand,” he said. 

Elijah understood and didn’t pressure her. 

“But if this is about your sister…” 

Alice looked up at Elijah. 

“If this is you punishing yourself… “ 

She looked back down to her lap. 

“I can’t forgive myself,” Alice said. “She died… Because of me.” Her voice was breaking up. 

“That isn’t true. She made that choice.” Elijah said. 

“Yes, she did! Because I pushed her away! I made her feel like she had no other choice!” She yelled. 

The room became quiet. It was as if her roar silenced it. The darkness in Alice’s heart filled the air, trying to break out and consume everything. 

Then a ray of light pierced through it.

Iya juga si teman-temanya banyak sudah tergoda ada yg sudah merokok sampai minum-minuman yg haram.

'di dalam hati yang paling dalam sebenarnya ia agak terkejut mendengar pembicaraan ayahnya yg benar saja ia akan menikah di usia yg masih 17 otw 18 ini,ia setuju karena yg di katakan papanya memang benar dan ia sangat menyangi ke dua orang tuanya dan merka adalah hal yg paling berharga di hidupnya'.

"Gea ini mama,boleh masuk ga"gea yg sedang pokus kini beralih ke arah pintu

"iyah mah masuk aja"mendengar itu rena langsung masuk ke kamar anaknya yg di ikuti oleh alan suaminya.

"tumben masuknya barengan ada apa yah"ia merasa ada sesuatu sampai-sampai ke dua orang tuanya masuk bersamaan ke kekamarnya,walaupun ini bukan yg pertama kali.
Tapi tetap saja ia merasa ada sesuatu.

"gini sayang,mama mau ngasih tau kalo mama sama papa mau menjodohkan kamu,kamu mau kan?"ucapan rena yg thu the point membuat ge kaget bukan main.

"apa mah,aku mau di jodohin?"tanya gealina 

"iya sayang kamu mau kan?"ucap mama gea sambil memelas

"tapi kan gea masih SMA"ia tidak habis fikir kenapa orang tuanya ingin ia menikah di usia muda.

"itu ga jadi masalah ge,di jaman sekarang ini banyak anak yg salah pergaulan,papa dan mama ga mau itu terjadi kepada kamu"

"gea juga bisa jaga diri mah,pah dan ga gini juga caranya"sungguh tak terduga di jaman sekarang ini masih ada yg namanya perjodohan

"mama mohon sayang,mama cuman minta ini aja"

"oke,aku terima perjodohan ini tapi laki-laki yg mau di jodohin sama aku baik dan mau menerima perjodohan ini?"gea hanya memastikan,ia takut jika laki-laki yg akan menjadi suaminya ini tidak menerima.

"tenang aja sayang laki-laki yg akan menjadi suami mu baik dan dia mau menerima perjodohan ini dengan senang hati"kenapa dia cepat sekali mengambil keputusan?.

"benar yg di bilang mama kamu ge"

"yaudah intinya aku sudah menerima perjodohan ini kalo gitu aku ke atas dulu"

"mantep nih,gua seneng belajar nih materi"ucap reyhan salah satu teman azkan yg otaknya mesum.

"lu mah kalo pelajaran yg menyangkut 'itu'girang banget"seregah azkan ia tidak habis fikir kenapa ia mempunyai teman yg super duper mesum itu.

"ehh materi ini banyak manfaatnya buat kita kelak"emang dasar otak ngeres perlu di bersihin kayaknya.

"udah-udah sekarang dengerin tuh guru"sergah ferin yg mendengar pembicaran azkan dengan rehan kebetulan ferin duduk di depan meja rehan dan azkan bersama samuel.

Gealina POV

"ge liat deh si ferin ganteng banget"memang si lyly ini sudah menyukai ferin dari pertama merka bertemu,bisa di bilang cinta pada pandangan pertama.

Ketika di koridor ia melihat azkan yg sedang menatapnya dengan penuh hati,ia menyerit bingung.tapi ia lupakan

"dihh engga lah,gua yg mesen lu yg bayar.buru sekalian nih,gua udh laper"dasar perut karet emang si dinda.

Entah mengapa kalau ia melihat gea seperti ada sesuatu,entah apa itu.

menikah dengan teman sekelas?itu yang dialami Gea.

Setelah peretasan sistem, Ketua Utama terpaksa menghapus semua data, termasuk OS dan data system untuk menyembuhkan kerusakan pada hologram, semua data sekejap lenyap dan harus diisi ulang dari awal lagi, Akbar dan Noel membantu memulihkan kerusakan itu dan bekerja lembur sampai dua hari.

Sementara Reva dan Rae menghentikan misi pemburuan Tjr dan membantu beberapa Peace Keepers lain untuk menangkap penjahat kelas teri hingga kelas kakap tanpa bisa berkomunikasi lewat alat komunikasi akibat dari kerusakan sistem. Mereka yang sudah senior tak perlu saling berkomunikasi secara verbal untuk mengetahui lokasi atau langkah mereka selanjutnya jadi mereka bisa membimbing yang muda untuk bergerak.

Ini hari kelima Reva berada di hutan Ranatiki bersama Selene dan Putra, dua anak Peace Keepers yang masih muda, mereka bertiga ada di situ untuk memantau pergerakan dari komplotan penjahat yang melabeli diri mereka dengan sebutan Silence Of Nightmare, yang disingkat SON.

Bisa dibilang tugas ini sangat berat bagi Selene dan Putra yang baru turun ke lapangan, apalagi musuh yang mereka hadapi merupakan komplotan yang terbilang kejam, mereka tak segan menghabisi orang-orang satu distrik jika di distrik itu memiliki barang yang mereka mau.

Tapi kedua anak Peace Keepers baru itu tahu, jika dibandingkan dengan Reva, kekuatan komplotan sekejam merekapun, mereka tak ada apa-apanya, jadi Selene dan Putra tak begitu khawatir soal jumlah mereka yang hanya bertiga.

Reva mengawasi sebuah tenda hitam besar yang menjadi markas mereka, terdengar suara yang sangat ribut dari situ, sepertinya mereka sedang berpesta setelah menjarah suatu distrik.

"Kalian bergerak ke belakang tenda itu,aku akan memancing mereka keluar lewat depan," suruh Reva yang langsung dibalas anggukan oleh kedua anak baru, keduanya segera bergerak secara perlahan ke belakang tenda yang ternyata ada jalan keluar dari situ.

Setelah di rasa dua anak itu siap, Reva dengan santai melenggang menuju pintu masuk lewat depan, Reva menghirup aroma bunga chrisan dan lavender kemudian melemparkan bola saljunya ke dalam tenda, ledakan besar membuat semua komplotan keluar dari tenda mereka, meski begitu tenda kain yang dikira Reva akan hancur ternyata masih dapat berdiri tegak.

Semua tampak tertarik dengan kecantikan Reva dan bersiap menangkap gadis itu untuk dijadikan mainan mereka, namun salah satunya mengenal Reva dan gemetaran.

"Tidak mungkin, apa kalian tidak tahu siapa gadis itu?" Orang yang gemetaran itu berteriak pada kawan-kawannya.

"Kau ini bicara apa?"

"Jangan jadi pengecut! Dia hanya seorang gadis."

"Dia bukan gadis biasa!" Balas orang yang gemetaran tadi. "Dia adalah Hakim Kematian."

Kini Reva yang bersiap, dia tersenyum miring saat mendengar sebutan orang itu, sebutan akan dirinya yang sudah sangat terkenal dikalangan para penjahat. Beberapa bunga mulai berterbangan di sekeliling tubuh Reva, kemudian dia berteleportasi.

Tiba-tiba Reva sudah muncul di atas mereka, selama masih melayang Reva mengirimkan serangan kobaran api biru dari gabungan bunga Kamboja putih d Ngan melati merah, serangan Reva tersebut membuat para komplotan kocar-kacir dan sebagian besar memasuki tenda hendak melarikan diri lewat pintu belakang, saat itulah Selene dan Putra beraksi dan memukul mundur komplotan untuk kembali ke dalam markas.

Putra mengeluarkan kemampuannya yaitu membentuk listrik sesuka hatinya, dia menghajar para komplotan dengan listrik yang dia jadikan cambuk, tentu tiap orang yang terkena listrik itu akan terkejut bahkan kejang-kejang, Putra batu menggunakan sebagian kekuatannya sehingga tidak akan menyebabkan gagal jantung.

Sementara di sisi Putra, Selene berubah menjadi bayangan dan menyasar bayangan musuh-musuhnya, dia akan membekap mulut orang itu dari belakang kemudian melemahkan mereka.

80 anggota SON berhasil dikalahkan dengan mudah oleh tiga orang Peace Keepers, bahkan dua di antaranya masih muda. Bukan perasaan senang yang menghinggapi Reva, tapi justru rasa curiga, dia heran mengapa komplotan tangguh seperti mereka bisa kalah begitu saja seolah mereka hanyalah kumpulan remaja nakal biasa.

Para komplotan di kumpulkan menjadi satu di tengah tenda dan diikat dengan tali tambang yang berada di tenda itu, Reva mengelilingi mereka dan memerhatikan wajah mereka satu per satu.

"Apa hanya ini kemampuan dari Silence Of Nightmare? Payah sekali!" Reva sengaja memancing kekesalan mereka, namun meski begitu tak ada yang terpancing, mereka justru tersenyum miring seolah sudah memenangkan pertempuran ini.

"Apanya yang lucu!" Putra menyepak wajah seorang komplotan, dia juga tak mengerti dengan tingkah ganjil mereka.

"Kalian bertiga lah yang kalah," ucap orang yang disepak itu, teman-teman yang lainnya tertawa.

"Apa?" Selene menjewer kuping komplotan yang sebelumnya disepak oleh Putra.

Mendengar itu Reva semakin siaga, dan benar saja. Dari luar tenda, terdengar suara tapak kuda yang cukup banyak, membuat panik ketiga Peace Keepers itu.

"Ada apa ini?" Tanya Selene yang tak punya kemungkinan.

"Sial, ini jebakan!" Reva kembali menerbangkan beberapa bunga sebagai persiapan. Ketiga Peace Keepers saling melindungi punggung saat tenda hancur dan menampakkan banyaknya anggota komplotan SON yang lainnya.

Salah seorang yang bertubuh paling besar, memakai pakaian dari bulu hewan turun dari pelana kudanya dan menghampiri Ketiga Peace Keepers, terutama Reva.


"Bunuh saja dua yang lainnya," suruh pria berbadan besar itu, "sementara si Hakim Kematian ini adalah bagianku, harga kepalanya cukup untuk pesta selama seminggu."


Reva geram, dia menghirup aroma bunga lavender dan chrisan dan dalam sekejap dua bola salju terbentuk di dua telapak tangannya, tanpa menunggu lagi dia melempar dua bola itu yang kembali menimbulkan ledakan hebat di sekitar mereka, saat itu dia menggunakan kesempatan untuk berteleportasi, tak lupa dia menggenggam tangan dua anak barunya untuk terbawa bersamanya. Tubuh ketiganya muncul di atas bukit yang cukup jauh dari tenda SON.


"Haaahhh... Tadi itu menegangkan sekali," Selene berkata dengan wajah pucat, kakinya terasa lemas sampai tak mampu menapak bumi lagi.


"Sebaiknya kita cepat pergi dari sini," Reva mulai menuntun langkah.


"Tunggu kalian, bocah!" Suara itu terdengar tepat di belakang mereka, sontak ketiga Peace Keepers itu berbalik dan menemukan pria berbadan besar tadi berdiri tepat di sana. "Jangan pernah meremehkan kemampuan dari pemimpin dari Silence Of Nightmare, Barbarossa!"
Pria itu dengan angkuh menepuk dadanya sendiri, Reva tak menghiraukan itu dan kembali bersiap, begitu juga dua anak baru.


Barbarossa tertawa melihat ketiga Peace Keepers itu yang bersiap, kemudia dia merogoh sebih silet dari dalam sakunya, menyayat kecil jarinya hongga mengeluarkan darah kemudian menjilat sedikit darah itu, tiba-tiba tubuhnya bergetar hebat seperti orang kejang, namun tak lama tubuhnya bermitosis menjadi lima orang yang sama.
Reva, Putra dan Selene terkejut melihat kemampuan dari Barbarossa, sementara lelaki itu tertawa semakin keras.


"Jangan sampai kita terluka olehnya," Reva memberi pengarahan pada dua anak barunya.


"Siap!" Putra dan Selene membalas dengan semangat, kemudian keduanya mulai menyerang dengan kemampuan masing-masing.

Selene berubah menjadi bayangan dan memecah diri menjadi dua bayangan, kedua bayangannya menyebar dan langsung menyasar tiga mitosis Barbarossa, sama seperti saat dia melawan komplotan SON di tenda, dia akan menjerat bayangan lawan kemudian membekap mulut lawan dari belakang, namun kali ini selain membekap, Selene juga menusukkan belatinya ke leher lawan.
Kekuatan listrik yang dikeluarkan oleh Putra pada Barbarossa  tak main-main, dalam satu kali pecut, listrik itu langsung menggosongkan lawannya, dan berhasil mengurangi dua mitosis Barbarossa.


Reva tak kalah dari kedua anak baru, dia bertarung melawan Barbarossa dari jarak dekat dan menggunakan api biru dari aroma bunga Kamboja putih yang digabungkan dengan melati merah agar menambah daya serang. Dengan lincah Reva memberi tinju dan tendangan sampai-sampai Barbarossa kewalahan menyaingi kecepatan serangan Reva. Dan terakhir Reva meninju wajah Barbarossa dengan api biru yang besar di tangannya, lawannya itu tumbang tak sadarkan diri.
Namun ternyata pertempuran mereka tidak sampai di situ, karena setelah selesai melawan lima mitosis Barbarossa, di sekeliling mereka terdapat puluhan mitosis Barbarossa lainnya yang bersiap memberikan serangan. Reva, Putra dan Selene terpojok dengan saling melindungi punggung.

Kehidupan Reva berubah sejak seorang lelaki misterius bermata hijau datang dan menjemputnya ke Dunia Menuju Kemunduran.

Dan yang paling menjengkelkan lelaki itu selalu mengakui dirinya sebagai jodoh dari Reva.

Apa yang harus Reva lakukan di dunia yang asing baginya?

Room 207, Science Lab.

"Hello... I'm the life science teacher." He grimly introduced himself: "Mr. Corporis." His messy black hair and his dark eyes, like algae in murky water, made him quite a sight. He was wearing a lab jacket, splattered with dried- blood? His eyes were like a doctor's scalpels... it was as if he knew what lay beyond the skin of those he stared at.

"I teach living environment," he softly stated. "... mostly comprised of anatomy, physiology, and ecology."

He twiddled his pale hands, covered by surgeon gloves. The white gloves, splotched with dried metallic red…

"So... the reason why this subject is required: One, it's mandated by the state; Two, research of your environment and animal behavior can help you survive in desperate desolate places; Three, anatomy is essential for cultivation and... it's great for killing."

He laughed softly.

"Just kidding... Also, I don't condone killing any of your classmates. What I mean is... killing for self-defense."

"Oh, fun fact, we get to dissect humans in this class. I'm sure you'll have fun..."

Suddenly, Steven didn't feel so good, eating so much for lunch.

Half of his peers were about to throw up.

"Just joking... but we will dissect a frog. I won't spoil the wonderful experience for you." He smiled sadistically.

He opened up the presentation.

Steven opened up his notebook.

"Anyways, our first unit is General Characteristics of Organisms. A general overview of living things includes how life first appeared on earth and Cell Theory. The Cell Theory states: All living organisms are composed of one or more cells, the cell is the basic unit of function in all living things, and cells arise from pre-existing cells."

'Don't... teachers tell us to not use Wikipedia?' Steven thought to himself.

Mr. Corporis switched to the next slide.

"There are two main cell types. Eukaryotes and Prokaryotes. Eukaryotes are membrane-bound cells. They're the cells that humans and other more complicated organisms are made of. Eukaryotes have a nucleus, their DNA is linear, and these type of cells reproduce by meiosis and mitosis. Prokaryotes contain non-membrane bound organelles. They don't have a nucleus, their DNA is circular, and they reproduce by binary fission."

'He's talking too fast...' Steven thought to himself, scribbling furiously. 'Oh...'

Steven came up with a genius plan.

Steven drew two blobs, one labeled eukaryotes, and the other prokaryotes. He drew a nucleus- circle in the blob of the eukaryote, with straight lines, and writing meiosis and mitosis. On the other blob, he just drew circle squigglies, writing down binary fission.

"Usually more simple creatures, such as bacteria and archaea, are prokaryotes." He droned on. "Prokaryotes and Eukaryotes can move using flagella, cilia, and mycoplasma 'legs'. Both eukaryotes and prokaryotes get energy from the environment, however, eukaryotes also have mitochondria. Mitochondria turn energy from the environment- from breathing and eating- into energy the cell can use- ATP also known as a coenzyme. This is cellular respiration."

The teacher continued talking about life.

Steven diligently took notes before falling asleep.

Hiatus until I finish my applications because I am screwed.

Crepitating lines of code fill the room, corrugating the world around him, and only he bends them. Seventeen muscles to smile and to pretend everything is ok. The pertinacious wait will make every return even more gratifying.

Forgotten by everyone, was the price she had to pay. Died too many times trying to save one person. Still, she can't help but remember and do it again.

He woke up too late. If he hadn't slept till now, then maybe everything wouldn't have been a mess. How could he be so stupid? Yet, out of them all, this is the one itinerary he chooses not to change.

What a dream wants isn't what a sin desires. What i long for, will never come back to me. Characters come and go, but sometimes, words die out forever.

Some experts say that this power is horribly powerful among [Rank] - [F] intergalactic mercenaries, but it is used only by creatures with low intelligence. literally anyone who is willing to think of creating a trap can shoot down a Bulltrax with great ease. As long as it is not a frontal attack even an ordinary human can kill a [Rank] - [F] Bulltrax
