Kemunculan Raksi, si anak kucing berwarna putih yang di temukannya di dalam got, memunculkan banyak pertanyaan dibenaknya.

Semenjak kedatangan hewan menggemaskan itu ke rumah, banyak hal ganjil yang terlalu tidak masuk akal bagi Gauri.

Kemunculan sesosok gadis, buku tua bersampul tebal, kedekatannya dengan dua sahabat karib. Ini terlalu tiba-tiba baginya.

Lalu mengapa pengelihatan menjadi aneh? Kenapa hal-hal yang tidak seharusnya ia lihat malah dengan jelas menampakkan diri.

Petunjuk hanya ada pada satu buku, ia harus menuntaskannya sesegera mungkin. Hingga pada halaman terakhir, ia ingin menemukan maknanya.


 
The burbling river of lava overruns by the loud sizzling laughter and chuckles that conquers everywhere. The witch notices the servants chuckling too distinctly so, she halts and silences them by stomping her left foot on the ground and hisses at once. The Karperius sleeps soundly and snoring in the left side of the throne eleven o' clock from their direction. This creature disturbs by their jolting aloud conversation that echoes a nuisance to its sensitive hearing. The horrendous beast snarls in anger like someone pisses off from a sudden disturbance and the king serpent hisses continuously as its tongue exposes on and on whilst the bear and the wolf heads display their sharp teeth snarling in anger.
  The witch Deborah demands a perfect shape of skull from the king. The servants hand a couple of skull over to her, one has a bit of damage and the other is perfectly fine. Deborah slams the other skull and it projectiles towards the burbling lava river and it melts with a sign of smoke in the air. Examining, scanning and observing, she grabs the other skull by her other hand with the eyes on it and carries it nearly to the king.
In a few seconds, the witch begins her ritual. She raises slowly the skull and gives a lick on it whilst her other hand tops the skull and exposes it to her eyes. She utters some dark spells over and over again. Afterwards, she blows the wholes of the skull's face six times and carefully places it on the blighted ground. The blighted ground leaks and some fissures appear and arises a dark altar which the skull perfectly situated on top of it. The altar engraved with a pair of horny skulls in each opposite sides. And a dagger positioned diagonally glued next to the horny skull.
"Revelio ispejo mystica…revelio malocchio magia" Deborah whispers as she brushes her index finger in the skull's forehead. She mutters a black magic spell that summons a mystical black mirror under the power of the skull.  After she utters the ancient spell, the physical skull begins to smoke a large greyish red skull like whirlpool wind, ascending to the air and slowly turning into a blank dark mirror. In a fraction of second, a vision of different faces apparate. All of them glue their sight on the mirror and witness their doings in the realm of mortals. Henceforth, Deborah raises her palm to view better the black mirror as she inches to it.
The two persons still scanning and browsing the books they gathered on the table. The man turning his pages from 47-52 and the lady with a teary face turning her book at page 66. Each of their books they opened has both contents with ancient texts, symbols and rituals. As the man halts at page 52, he examines the page with a sketch of a bottle of drink with red substance inside. He shares the view of the book so that both of them would see it clearly. The lady also notices a mysterious being at page 66 that make her stuns and horrifies. A matter of few moments slips away; another matured man arrives joining them in examining the content of the page.
They look all terrified as they staring to each other. Their faces painted with anxiety with so much curves, sweats and wrinkles in their faces. They carry the books and leave immediately yet, as they walks around they encounter a younger man which the king spoke off. Their eyes enlarge as their sight collides and their faces coated with pale and horror. It takes few seconds before they responds and it seems they weave a conversation like a display of pantomimic opera. 
"What kind of… son do you have? Erkh…Ah… he's wasting… his time...erkh. It seems his interest in that realm inclining so distinctly, erkh…" Deborah comments. 
"His disobedient will not be remaining unpunished. He will suffer…he will!" Alzasar exclaims in fury. 
"Now, milord, you have seen your…prodigal son…what is your command? erkh " she brandishes her palm from side to side. 
"Gordon Bennett! Prepare to take back that …bloody prodigal son. He will suffer! He surely will…" he clenches his fist and grinds her teeth.
"YES MILORD!!!" the servants respond.
As they witnessing the vision in the mirror, Deborah, the dark witch, sees a display of scene in the black mirror, a beautiful lady crying whilst facing a man with a disfiguring face browsing and scanning a book. King Alsazar notices her concentrating sight towards the vision in the black mirror. He seems recognise the place where the two people situated at and his mind bombarded with some of sort of memories. In his mind, he distinguishes the two people which they checking in the forbidden section of the library.
The king's face disfigures─ with much wrinkles on his forehead, bridging eyebrows and smoking nose like an angry bull that ready to attack his matador. The servants rattle as they spot on his eyes full of fury and his mouth exposing with his sabre tooth. Deborah falls to total silent as she recalls something in her mind upon seeing the lovely lady in the mirror. She recalls her past about his fascinating beauty that conquers myriad of his suitors. During her eighteenth year, myriad of suitors flood-gated outside at their regal house and patiently waiting for her affection to arouse towards their thirst and hungered hearts.   Their eyes consume with much happiness as they stare upon him and every person who accidentally gazed at her sometimes encountered accident along the way.
She recalls all those days that her glory rained upon men until it stopped when an archimage punished her for envy and jealousy on her elven beauty blended with a mortal blood. Her purity as an eleven has mixed up with a mortal blood and she feels pity on herself remembering the last day of her glory as a beautiful elven that turned into monstrosity, caused by a powerful archimage. She gazes in the mirror whilst the eyes on her palm starting to red and some tears trickles on the blighted ground.

John Enrico Walter isn't expecting to be the key to prophesy. But when everything comes along without expectation someone who's very important to him is in peril. He defies his fear and conquers every single doubt on his way.

Adriana leaned forward, grabbed the notepad, pens, and the list Bo had made earlier, and handed them to him. Then she pulled the laptop onto her legs and opened the internet browser.
She typed what she wanted to know directly into the search bar. She scrolled through the list hoping to find a credible answer to her question.
"Look at this." She spoke quietly as she read through the information on the page she had opened about Lei Ting medallions.
The creator of the web page had a long list that contained pictures and explanations of the medallions Kaitlin had given her and Bo. It also showed several other medallions with several other inscriptions.
Most of the inscriptions were created for the same purposes as the ones she already had. As she scrolled through, Adriana saw one that was meant to shield the holder from seeing the dead.
Other than what they already had and the few oddballs, there was not a single inscription that would suit the purposes they were looking for. Everything they found was intended to shield, cast away, hide from, or protect one from the dead people in the Mirror Kingdom. None of them were created to converse with, or bring the dead to anyone.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Bo taking notes. When he finished writing down the name of the medallion and the magic it inflicted, Adriana clicked on the page that showed the items the owner sold.
There were several medallions of multiple different sizes that could be inscribed with whatever the buyer wanted. Some were large enough to be hung on the wall as a decorative ornament, while others were small enough to be put on a key chain.
There were also necklaces, bracelets, pendants, earrings, rings, and buttons available. Each one of the items had an option to be customized for the buyer's needs.
Adriana scrolled all the way back to the top of the web page and clicked on the tab labeled 'contact us'.
"It says... All items available are inscribed with the incantations that will keep you safe and secure. For inscriptions that are not readily available or incantations for other purposes fill in your contact information or call our customer care center during business hours." Adriana read aloud then filled in her name, number, and email address while Bo wrote down the customer care number.
"It's too late to call them tonight, but we can call them in the morning." He assured her.
"They'll think we're absolutely nuts for what we'll be asking for." She tried to give a small smile.
"Probably. Hopefully they'll be kind enough to customize something for what we need, or at least point us in the right direction of someone who can help us." He added quietly.
Adriana clicked the home button. In the search bar, she typed 'legends about the Mirror Kingdom', then pressed enter. The page loaded with hundreds of sources to go through.
Adriana knew that myths and legends had a way of getting twisted and turned every time they were repeated. She also knew that she would have to sift through the information and hope that something was true and relevant to their situation.
She clicked on the first link, hoping there would be something useful to be found. However, the page was mostly filled with pictures of broken mirrors and simple signs telling people to be aware of mirror dwellers.
Adriana clicked the back button, then clicked on the next page. The site she had landed on was a simple blog that told the same tales Kaitlin had shared, only in different words. Adriana filled in her email, and clicked the subscribe button hoping the writer of the blog would update with newer information that would help them.
She clicked the back button again and systematically went down the list. After going through more than four pages of the list, she found another blog that seemed to be more like a personal online journal rather than informational blog.
Adriana clicked on it and began reading the most recent post. It was simply titled 'Matter Of Glass'.
"Check this out, Bo." Adriana whispered as she leaned the screen back so they could both have a better view of the screen.
The writer claimed to have seen several people that were supposed to be dead. She also discussed her use of Lei Ting medallions to keep the spirits away.
The posts that were published prior to the first discussed a lot of what they already knew about people being attacked and the discoloration of the skin, followed by an unknown cause of death.
The blogger also went on to say that the type of glass was irrelevant. She had discovered that it wasn't necessarily mirrors that caused a problem. The glass of a window pane was just as much of an access point for the dead as a mirror was.
She also discussed ideas about the Mirror Kingdom not being exactly what the ancient Chinese civilization thought it was. She said perhaps it is a place for lost souls to find one another, rather than someplace for old souls to gather until they can rise up and destroy humanity.
Adriana scrolled back to the top of the page and subscribed to this blog as well. She also left a comment for the blogger with her email address attached.
"Hopefully she'll contact me. I think we need to find out where else this is happening." Adriana told Bo.
"I think you're right. The more help we have, the better our chances of figuring out how to stop the deaths and the kidnappings." He replied somberly.
"What should I look for now?" She asked him.
"To be honest, I have no idea." He said sounding slightly confused.
"Me neither." She replied, clicking the exit button at the top of the browser.
She closed the laptop and placed it back on the stand. She reached for the glasses of tea, handed Bo his glass and sipped from her own as she leaned back against him.
"I don't want to say anything that will upset you, but I have to ask... did Alison and Frankie have any family that needs to be contacted?" Bo asked sounding like he would rather be discussing anything else.
"Not anymore. Their parents died quite some years back. Their other brother died in a car crash a few years ago. And, their aunt Marcy died of a heart attack a few months ago." Adriana said with tears burning the back of her eyes.
Thunder boomed outside and rain began to patter the roof. They could hear the wind beginning to pick up speed, shaking the trees and the windows.
"My God. They've had it rough these past few years, haven't they?" Bo shook his head sadly, pulling Adriana closer to him.
"Yes, they have. It's horrible for such good people to lose everyone they love." Adriana tried to keep her tears at bay.
"No one deserves the things they've had to deal with. It tears me apart to know that they both had to die so young, too." The grief Bo had been trying to stifle was evident in the way his voice broke as he spoke.
"They're all each other had anymore." Adriana replied as tears spilled over her cheeks.

In the Change room, a man set in front of the mirror. A small album of photos was placed in his hands. Turning each page one by one, thousands of emotions in his heart but not a small mark on the face.

Realizing that years has passed, he flew to the last page, a light grey coloured photograph was placed on the last page. There was a Girl in the picture. A girl in School uniform smiled brightly. Her smile felt like it had fallen from heavens. 

He felt in daze...

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. He immediately regained his senses and placed the album inside the drawer. 

Assistant Wu Zhin entered and bowed, " Sir, your health wasn't good in the morning. Would you like to go back home?"

Pearl raised his eyes in front of the mirror, with a dark expression on face, watching Wu Zhin through mirror he said, "I have cleared things from the start, in my life no one has the right to give any kind of wordings".

Assistant Wu immediately apologised, "Sorry Sir, I was just worried and concerned about your health".

Pearl immediately stood up from his seat and turned around, "Assistant Wu, have you made all arrangements."

Assistant Wu nodded and calmly handed the documents.

Pearl always thought for the future, after numerous hardships he had learned to survive. He was well aware that in this Industry one could survive only if they have the Powers.


Assistant Wu informed Pearl about all the arrangements prepared by him while Pearl was changing from the shoot outfits. As the next shoot didn't needed him he decided to head for other important work.


Pearl had always been a calculative Person. Being recognised as an National Treasure Actor was not an easy job. From the start he had been the one to fight for the best resources. Apart from his Acting Career, he was well aware about his abilities.

Pearl was an Untouchable King in the Entertainment Industry.
