When a boy turns to a wolf that do mystical things. 

A boy whose family is exterminate by unknowns and his only sister where no place to be found.

The once cheeky young master turn to a mischievous wolf.

Side note: This story is just purely created from my imagination, but expect it will show some facts.

History is written by the victor. A truer statement doesn't exist. Our history in the Mexican-American war as a glorious victory that was justified by the mexican army "invading our" land. On. the mexican viewpoint we "invaded their" land, so they had the right to defend their borders. But the land in question was disputed territory, because the mexicans claimed the border was at the Neuces river and the Americans the Rio Grande river. They killed many over a petty land dispute. Neither were right. They all use propaganda and other lies to hide the facts, therefore have they not done the same to our history books? Yes, yes they have. Therefore nothing is true if it can't be proven, gravity is real and true, but the justification that god exists is not founded in truth. As you can't prove god exists.

A look into my beliefs. It is all based around the idea of the prespective. So keep that in mind when you are reading this book. This is a book from a 15 year old middle schooler, these came from his brain, but of course he had insperation from famous others. Contains intro to No one's book.

The Mexican wolf was an aggressive beast of prey, and when it went into hunting mode, it became even more vicious.
They could travel about 15 miles at an average speed of about 10 miles per hour. When chasing their prey, their speed could go up to nearly 30 miles per hour. When they were sprinting, each leap they took was incredibly far.
Li Du went online to check out information on this animal, and the more he read, the more he suspected that Ah Ow could be a Mexican wolf.
However, this seemed a little improbable. Since the 20th century, the Mexican wolves' population had dwindled because the lack of prey had caused them to attack domestic livestock, resulting in the government exterminating them. After being hunted by Mexican and Arizona hunters, Mexican wolves were rarely seen anymore. They had become endangered animals, even more rare than the Czech wolfdog.
"Compared to dogs, the tail of the Mexican wolf is short and never curls up. It always hangs in in between its hind legs. The wolf's fur is mostly dark-yellow and gray mixed with some black. It starts howling at youth…" Luo Qun was still going on about some characteristics, all of which matched those of Ah Ow.
As she spoke, her hand unconsciously stroked her pistol and her gaze became more fearsome.
Ah Ow was not clear on the situation, but she was almost as sensitive and smart as Li Du. Luo Qun's gaze scared her so she burrowed into her bed, crying softly.
On the other hand, Ah Meow was fully-aware of the situation; out of the pets, he had spent the most time with Luo Qun, and understood her temperament the best.
Seeing that Luo Qun was fiercely looking at Ah Ow, ready to draw her pistol, he took action immediately. With a swoosh of his tail, he leaped up and landed in front of Ah Ow's bed, crying, "Meow!"
This act of his made Li Du laugh loudly. Ah Meow was a good big brother: he already knew how to play the role of a guardian.
Luo Qun pointed her pistol at him. "Ah Meow, move away. You have no idea what's behind you. Wait till it grows up—it will eat you."
Ah Meow stared at the pistol in Luo Qun's hand, and did not move an inch—his glare was even more ferocious than the cop's.
"What are you guys doing?" Li Du laughed. "Luo Qun, please don't whip out your pistol whenever you feel like it. Can you act like a lady for once?"
Luo Qun said, "This is a Mexican wolf. Even though it's only a pup, it's still very dangerous. You've never seen one attack humans before—it's horrifying!"
Li Du shook his head. "Maybe but that was a wild wolf. Ah Ow may be a wolf but she's been trained by me and will not be that vicious." As he spoke, he picked up Ah Ow, who popped her head out to look at Luo Qun. She then opened her mouth to howl, "Ow ow!"
Luo Qun glared at her, giving her such a fright that she retreated into Li Du's embrace.
The best way to verify Ah Ow's identity was to question the person who'd given him Ah Ow: Goatee Garter.
Li Du dialed the number, and Garter answered, "Hi Boss Li, to what do I owe this call? Let me guess: you have some good stuff for me?"
"Yes, but before working with you, I gotta ask you something. What was the breed of the pup you gave me? I asked a dog trainer, and he said it's not a Czech wolfdog but a wolf—"
"What? What? Alright," Garter shouted into the phone, "hold on, I'll dash over." Then, a moment later, he told Li Du in a rushed tone, "Boss Li, sorry—my mom's actually in the hospital. I have to dash there. I'll talk to you later."
He hung up. Li Du was furious. He tried calling him again, but the phone had already been switched off.
This meant that Ah Ow's identity could be determined. She was a wolf, not some wolfdog!
Li Du thought about it and then called Sophie to tell her the news.
Sophie said, "Oh, I knew."
Li Du asked in disbelief, "You're not surprised?"
Sophie said, "Li, I've taken care of her since before her eyes even opened up until now when she can gnaw on bones. You don't think I realized her true identity?"
It then dawned on Li Du that it was no wonder Sophie had been so angry when her parents and he were debating whether Ah Ow could have been a wolf.
Sophie then said, "Li, if you don't like her, then can you give her to me? Although she's a wolf, that baby is smart and tame—not some ferocious wolf."
Li Du smiled. "How could I not like her? I brought her home. She's my responsibility. Besides," he added, "this is our first kid, darling. This is the first kid we have together."
Sophie giggled softly, then bashfully said goodnight before hanging up.
Ah Ow had perked her ears up to listen to Li Du's phone call with Sophie. She had heard Sophie's voice and started to look about for her, running about the room.
Luo Qun asked, "How old is she?"
"A little more than a month, but less than two."
Luo Qun said in astonishment, "Wolves are indeed different. A one-month-old little thing like this can run so much better than a three-month-old dog—look at that strength!"
Despite making a round, Ah Ow could not find Sophie. She did not understand what was going on, and so sat in the doorway, feeling both depressed and confused.
Then, her pitch-black nose twitched and she started to walk around the house more slowly. After walking a few steps, she went back to the doorway, spread her hind legs, crouched, then, balancing her pelvic region, peed!
"Don't pee!" Li Du shouted.
It was too late—Ah Ow had already peed. But it was just a little bit, a small puddle.
Li Du glanced at Luo Qun apprehensively—she did not look too pleased. He hurriedly went to get the mop to clean the floor.
As he walked out of the bathroom, he saw that Ah Ow had gone to the kitchen entrance and deposited another puddle of urine!
Luo Qun called out to him, "What's going on? Such frequent urination? Did you not teach her to pee at certain times of the day?"
Li Du knew what was going on. This is not frequent urination, this is Ah Ow marking her territory with urine!
Even though she knew how to spread out the mess bu urinating in a few different places, he did not think Ah Ow actually knew how to hold her urine.
In the past, where this matter was concerned, Mr. Li had no control over Ah Ow—he had only asked that Ah Ow not pee on him. So as for the floor, he would just clean up if it happened. 
Seeing that he was so nonchalant about it, Luo Qun became angry. "Tomorrow when I wake up," she cried, "if the floor is not clean, then cook me wolf stew!"
Ah Ow was now happily peeing everywhere. If she ran out of urine, she would drink some water and then start peeing again later on.
Ah Meow and Crispy Noodles started to panic. They had done something similar before, and the house had also reeked of the smell of their urine; all these animals marked their territory the same way.
When the two of them had first met, they'd had disagreements—their decision to urinate in the house was the result of them settling their disputes. They had demarcated their respective territories this way.
Now, Ah Ow had come and peed all over, upsetting the balance that had been previously struck.
In addition, the scent of wolf's urine was very strong. It not only affected the splitting of territories between the ocelot and the raccoon, but it also affected their lives. Wolves were their arch enemies!
As long as the scent of the wolf's urine lingered, they would not be able to sleep or eat well. This had been determined by nature, and was written into their DNA through thousands of years of evolution.
Big brother Ah Meow was displeased.


They love gold, and they love silver. Even more so, they love gems that dazzle, like stars across the skies. 
Firearms, jewelleries, and precious metals; A collector’s world will not be complete without antiques.  
Storage auctions, old goods trade, re-estate sales and gold-digging. But the truth is, if one wants to make money, then the supreme way is through searching for the legendary treasures. 
Holding the fort, there’s an ocelot, a wolf, and an Andes condor. At the side, there’s a loyal hound, an irascible ape, and an African honey badger. Who said that you can only rely on humans when treasure hunting?! 

After the busy day, we ended up in my old room. I made a bed out of blankets I had already packed up, but just not taken to the car. Moving has been more stressful, then I thought it would be.

An older woman at the grocery store was complimenting us as a couple. There was a few girls and guys who gave us dirty looks, but that is their problem, not ours. One guy proceeded to flirt with me even though Anthony was right next to me.

You can still smell the paint, but thank god I got the stuff that dries quickly. It is a quick dry paint so I could get out of here as fast as I can.

I fall into the heaping pile of blankets. Which feels so good on my tired body. My back is killing me. But the blankets are just the right amount of cushion for me.

I can see Anthony at the corner of my room just smiling. I get up and drag him down with me. Practically dying- I mean now on top with a big goofy grin.

I give him a peck and get off, I am watching him struggle to control his wolf. 
His wolf is very posessive and really wants to do the deed with his mate. But he knows my boundaries and loathes them.
If I were to do something stupid now, I wouldn't be a virgin anymore and he would probably end up marking me. 

Once you are marked and mated it is like getting engaged you have a certain time period to have a baby boy or girl. Which is very stupid, but it is tradition.

But laws are laws and we all have to follow more than others. I just lay there still until my breath goes shallow, and then I fall asleep.

I wake up and my brothers are getting into my groceries. I can hear them munching on cookies.

My cookies!

I get up and open the door to Mike with the cookie box in his hand. I snatch it and he starts to cry.

He is only 4-years-old and I don't have the energy to deal with all of them, so I pick him up and take him into my room.

"Where are my cookies?!?!" He cries into my shirt.

"You have had enough baby, you are going to give yourself a tummy ache," I explain holding him close.

I stroke his thick dark hair as he says, "No...yummy bad." He has had stomach problems since birth, he takes something to help him poop. If he doesn't it gets stuck and hurts him, real bad. He holds me close and calms down. I would hand him my phone, but it is broken, so I start tickling him. His little giggle fills the room.

I can see the way Anthony is looking at me. I let Mike go and he zooms out of the room yelling, "You can't snatch me, mom!!" In between chuckles, you see, I have basically been their mom, more than a sister. You see my family is half Mexican which means we are huge with family. It's not uncommon to have someone else that is called-mom.

It may hurt the actual mother, but she has to deal with it.
I don't run after him because I can hear him now playing with the others. He is now okay now which is a blessing.

I lay back down and get asked,
"How do you do that? Why do you let him call you mom?"

"I am just used to it, I have taken care of them my whole life. They call me mom because our mom was never around. They were told by a guest teacher at their school that a mother takes care of you while your sick, hurt and hungry they are always there for you, no matter what. So-one-day they came home and started calling me mom. I thought it was no big deal, but mom didn't." I tell him honestly.

"You will be a fabulous mother, I can tell by the way you take care of your siblings you want them. You have raised them basically on your own. I have no idea what it's like with kids, so at least I can learn off of you or your siblings. " He says this with so much intensity in his eyes it makes my eyes water.

Most of the time we joke about having children, but he is being so open about it. Also, his wolf doesn't like it that I am already called mom way before he has gotten a chance to mate with me.

I just give him a warm smile. I breathe in his scent and say, "We still have a few years to go before we do that." I want to be free of kids and live a little life before I even think about having a child.

"Let's get to moving me to our house. Our bed should already be there built and ready. I want to get everything moved in today." I say pulling away from him.

"The moving truck is at our place and is being unloaded, we can rest for a little more." He pulls me closer, as his hand squeezes my hips.

I can hear his wolf purring at our closeness. It's like a low growl that is extremely sexy, it's a sound he makes for me. 
I get up a say, "let's get some lunch Tocobell sounds so amazing right now." I can hear my stomachs reaction and he gets up.

"Let's go then." I throw on a sweater and a pair of blue jeans and we head out.

I get a Mexican Pizza and he gets two crunch wraps and a watered-down mountain dew.

I take a sip and almost gag. It is so gross! Other than that we just ate because we were super hungry. I am mad he didn't get a Baja blast! He said it tastes like dish soap.

"This meal was perfect, Anthony. I like their attempt at real Mexican food it is so good! But I am paying today." I pay and we get into his truck and I open up another letter.

Dear, Dianna.
I heard you have your first boyfriend. You are not even 10 and remember what I said they have. Well, I am, not giving you money for being with a guy who is not your mate.

Love, Dad.

I laugh at this because I never dated ever. And this is so funny, that me having one guy friend means, that I am dating him. We had 1 play date and he punched me. But since my mother thought date she was probably like, this is a good time to give it to her.

Let me be clear IT WAS NOT A DATE.

I smile at his words and put the letter back in its pink envelope.

"You are such a little brat," Dianna remembers him calling her names, but she still liked him in a way, she should not. 

"I am giving him one chance, he's mine," Dianna says to her very best friend Ari.

"You go, girl!" Ari says back to her best friend encouraging her to embrace her mate. Telling Dianna to respect the moon goddesses' choice.

Dianna Markus is a typical female werewolf, who has known who her mate was since the age of 15, of course, it would have to be her 
brother's best friend, also the alpha of her pack.

 As soon as she turns 18 she has to move into the packhouse; with a guy who teased her for years. Now she is older more mature, she has grown out of her teenage years, quite well actually.

 He has loved her for years but has a hard time finding the right words to tell her.

He can't lose her, she is his everything...but he might have to let her go...

Maybe I'm a different person when it comes to the human race yes I am a demon but who the hell cares anyway. We still breathe the same air we still go to the same school, so why should I care so why should I care.

Why can't we just be friends call it quits in the end. I really don't want to fight in this war. If I did what were we even fighting for, domination, or freedom. In the end it doesn't really matter


We eat the same food. We live under the same roof. We play the same games. We even have similar names. So what have I done to deserve your hate, what's going on. What's going on.


Two sisters one human and a demon. Ones Mexican and the others Jewish. Oh my God how do I get through this. Two different religions, all right just screw this. Different should be determined by how you act. It doesn't matter if you state the facts.

I was able to make it to work just in the nick of time. Jessie who is new with extraordinary auborn hair and green grass eyes is the new recruit to our party of six. Rosy, "Alright, ladies this is Jessie, our newest recruit, give her a welcoming hand." We all clapped, and sang, " Bien Venida, Bien Venida, Jessie, con allegria, soy Amber, Soy Rosy , Soy Rain, Soy Jada, Soy Cristal.Bien Venida Jessie con Allegra!"  
    Jessie was smiling from ear to ear. "Thank You Ladies for your warm welcome, I hope I can be as a fast server as you and I will do my best, to not make many mistakes. She bowed her head. "Rain, mija, can you please take Jessie under your wing and show her the ropes of our resteraunt?"
     "Si, Rosy, I will train her." Who knew I was going to have a protege already. I first gave Jessie a tour of Rosy's facilities, the faculties bathrooms, cleaning supply room, the kitchen,then the section she will be in charge of. "Jessie, today's special will be stuffed chili peppers with cheese, alternatives are cheese with beans and rice. One more alternative is chicken stuffed chilli. For soft drinks we have the classics, Coke, Pepsi, 7Up, Sprite, Mountain dew, doctor pepper."
  "As for mexican drinks, Horchata, Jamaica, pineapple juice, watermelon, and tamarind. For alcohol, tequila, corona, Budlight and Tres Equis. Now the computer system is pretty easy since the new update. We now use the new iPads to submit orders and all the orders come to this computer, you simply press the number of the table that just ordered and a receipts will come out. Once you recieve either cash or card, you just scan the QR code  that's on the receipt, press the button that says give change or slide card and the machine will process it for you."
  "Thank you Rain, it was very instructive." Jessie said with a genuine smile. "Now if a problem arises, come grab me immediately, don't just confront things head on with out a  senior waitress." Jessie nodded.
    Lunch hour was very busy like always. I checked on Jessie every half hour to see how she was holding on. Apparently more and more men were approaching her section, that the senior staff had to come and help serve the tables. Fortunately for Jessie she didn't seem to mind. That is when Wolf showed up. 
     Mr. Always on time. Jada the hostess greeted him. He saw plenty of men admiring Jessie that he shrugged it off and went to sit in his usual section, "Mine." "Winter, not now." I turned around and saw my reflection on the stainless glass that's near the pickup area. Winter enhanced my features to attract him.
     "Hello, welcome to Rosy's Mexican Resteraunt, may I first take your drink order Mr. Wolf?" He looked at me and was surprised. "How were you able to get make up on  so quickly?" He said surprisingly. 
   "Oh, that is a good one, I just waved my fairy god mother wand and said those familiar words, bippiti boppiti boo, and here we are!" I said jokingly. Suddenly I turned slightly toward Jessie's section and some college jock was groping her ass. "Excuse me for just a few minutes, I have to take out the trash." 
  "Can, I help you?" Wolf said with a grin. I smirked and gave a devilish smile. "Of, Course." 
I whistled, " Hey, you stupid jock!! Try messing with someone your own size." Jessie was in a pool of tears running towards the back with Rosy. The stupid jock came towards me trying to get a feel for me, that is when I landed a hard left hook on his face, that sent him flying toward some chairs.
   "Who's next?" The rest of his entourage  lifted there hands to signal they don't want to start a fight."Now one of you go into his pockets take all of his cash out, for a decent tip for the waitress, or else I'll make this guy behind me take on all of you. Your choice!" 
   The entourage took out a big wad of cash and took the big dumb jock out of the resteraunt. "And don't show your faces here again or it's jail time you hear!!" Jada screamed. 
    "Now, Mr. Wolf your order?" " Cleopatra, I would love to get the freshest decaf coffee you have, some enchiladas and a side kiss from you." He winked. My jaw felt like it was going to drop to the floor. Winter was wagging her tail in excitement and I felt my feminine juices flowing down my feminine garments. "One moment Adonis." I winked back and his face was as red as a cherry.

example: If Sapphire has a conversation with person A and they know that she is there, but then she goes and hides from Person B, she will become invisible to everyone's eye and her scent is blocked from everyone besides the person A that she just talked, she will then stay invisible until 1) she wants to show her presence or 2) she moves a great amount. (This trick of hers will be shown later in the story).

*A/N: Hello lovelies, I'm sure a couple of you have been wandering what they all looked like and so I've been working on this since I started the book, Sapphire and Landon probably have the most details about them and themselves due to that they are the main characters, but I also did the other important characters that you will be seeing a lot of. My plan was to hold on publishing this until Trinna was fully introduced but I thought that this would be a nice spoiler on who she is until the next chapter is ready. I very much know that Evan Porter is all question marks and that's because he won't be in for a couple more chapters so I have given a sneak peek on a brand new main side character of the future or at least I gave his name. I am currently working on the new chapter when I find some free time, but I don't have much of that so hopefully I'll finish it soon!*

Sapphire is a normal girl who gets good grades, never gets into big or much trouble. That is unless a certain Landon is with her. She is the captain of the boy's baseball team for they is no girls softball team and captain of the girl's soccer team until coach requests her to be co-captain of a coed team. 
Landon is the alpha to be. He is arrogant, egotistical, the school's bad boy, one of the hottest guys besides Sapphire's brother Lee, and the biggest player. Landon loves to pick on some people mostly guys, but there is a certain girl who always picks fights with him as he also picks fights with her. 
"Come on Love just do it."
I looked at the man who is hidden behind the mask. "Yea, no I am not jumping off a tree into the pool, and like I said don't call me Love Landon!"
He smirked. "What's wrong, you scared Love?" He said stepping closer.
"L-Landon step away."  I said trying to push him away but his face was only a few inches away.
He smirked as my cheeks started to heat up even more than what they are. "Ah I know what it is, I make you nervous. Don't worry Love I won't tell, and we will continue this discussion later." He winked and slowly pulled away and dropped his coat on my head before he started to walk away.
"I-I hate you Landon." He chuckled as he met up with my brother.

I woke up feeling like a new person, wether it's because I killed someone or because I tortured Mackenzie I don't know, but I do know that this Iris isn't going anywhere, they want a heartless Luna they're going to get one.

I quickly made my bed before grabbing a towel and leaving my room heading to the bathroom, I noticed three people coming down the hall once they all looked at me they bowed their heads as a sign of respect and I smirked.

I knocked on the bathroom door before it opened, revealing Kris, I looked at her and I thought she was going to tell me how disgusted she was because of what I'd done. Not that I care because I have a whole no fucks attitude now.

"Iris, you are so fucking badass" she laughed out and my eyes went wide

"I was sure you'd think I was gross" she shook her head no.

"never, you finally stood up for yourself and proved to everyone that you can be a ruthless Luna and I admire that, I mean yeah it was kind of scary to see you slit a guys throat but I'm sure there was a reason." I nodded sheepishly before she went to go walk away, I moved to walk into the bathroom but she grabbed my shoulder.

"and by the way, dad's very proud of you" she whispered and a full spread smile grew on my face at the thought that I had made him proud for once.

I continued to walk into the bathroom and take a boiling hot shower, I got out and wrapped a towel around my body then brushed my teeth before stepping out of the bathroom and making my way back to my bedroom.

I changed into my outfit which was black tight fitting skinny jeans with rips in the knees, I had a white long sleeve shirt with the front tucked into my pants, I threw on my black and white nikes with black fingerless leather gloves and I put my hair in a messy braid down the side.



I grabbed my black purse and put my sunglasses on before heading down stairs to get a quick snack before heading to the human school. 

Once I was in the kitchen all heads turned towards me and I ignored them as I walked towards the counter I grabbed an orange and I leaned against the counter top peeling it before my dad walked into the kitchen, I spared him a quick glance before going back to peeling my orange.

"father" I said curtly and he nodded in response.

"where's Kris? I'm giving her a ride" I said while throwing all the peels into the trash bin

"right here don't worry" Kris said as she hurriedly made her way into the kitchen she was wearing a white flowing crop top with a high waisted pink pencil skirt and a gold bracelet on her forearm with her beige hand bag and gold heels, she had her hair in big curls.



"are you seriously leaving the house like that?" I asked her and she looked down at herself

"what's wrong? I think I look good" she said with a pout

"that's the point, you do look good, too good" I groaned and she giggled

"please promise you won't get involved with guys, unless it's your mate" I plead and she smirked

"that's a promise I can't make dear sister" she laughed and I groaned just then Jasper walked into the kitchen.

"okay kids I thought it would be best if you all rode to school together today since you have yet to get schedules and what not, after today you all may ride separately if you wish" my dad said and I groaned loudly.

"is there a problem?" my dad asked and I sighed

"I guess not, but you better be at the car right after the bell rings, I give you fifteen minutes and if you aren't outside, you can walk" I growled and Kris and Jasper nodded their head, they both knew that what I said was aimed at Jasper but they weren't going to say anything.

"and I'm driving" I said finally before eating my orange and walking out of the kitchen and front door towards the jeep.

"oh and Jasper, you're sitting in the back" I said nonchalantly and he nodded his head before I climbed in the drivers seat with Kris sitting beside me and Jasper behind me, the ride to the school is twenty minutes from the pack house.

"okay you two remember the story right? Jasper is a family friend who lives with me and Kris" the both nodded confirming they knew the story.

Once we arrived at the school I parked the car close to the entrance and exited the car I looked at the name of the school, WestMount High.

"okay guys lets go get our schedules shall we?" I smirked and Kris giggled while Jasper just eyed me

we entered the building to see a lady sitting at a desk she was tapping on the keys of her computer and I cleared my throat making her look at us, she smiled big showing off her pearly white teeth, she had her grey hair up in a bun and glasses on her pale wrinkled face.

"Hi what can I do for you?" she asked from behind the small sliding class door that was between us.

"uh yes, I'm Iris and this is Kris and Jasper, we're new here and was wondering where we could get our schedules" I said politely

"oh yes, I have them right here for you, you might be a bit confuse because we do things a bit differently here" she said opening the little glass door she slid my schedule in front of us to use as an example.

"okay so we have five periods in a day, one of which is homeroom, you will spent an hour and ten minutes in each period you also alternate classes each day, so you'll have four classes one day and a different four classes the next day, and you go back and forth between them." she said and I furrowed my eyebrows, not that I didn't understand I just thought it was a bit much.

"there are also three different lunches, A lunch, B lunch, and C lunch, A lunch is when you eat before your third period and after your homeroom, B lunch is where half way through your third period you will go eat lunch then come back to finish your third period class, and C lunch is where you eat after your third period." she said and we all nodded our head

"great I'm glad you understood that, anyways here are your schedules and if you want to wait right over there for a second I'll be right back" she said as we went and sat in three chairs positioned on the side of the her desk, she turned a corner and came back about ten minutes later with three people, two girls and one guy.

"okay, Mason this is Jasper, I would like you to show him to his math class please" the lady introduced Jasper to a good looking blonde guy with a buzzed head and bulky arms, he was wearing a letterman jacket he was decently tall as well.

"sounds good Mrs. J" he said before leading Jasper away, thankfully.

"Kaylee, this is Kris, I would like you to take her to biology please" she said introducing Kris to a girl with shoulder length light brown hair, she was shorter than me and she was full in the chest area.

"alright, follow me" she said leading Kris down the hallway as well.

"and lastly, Harper this is Iris, I'd like you to take her to Spanish" Harper just nodded before walking away leaving me to follow. Harper had this messy dirty blonde hair, she wore black skinny jeans with rips all through them with a white t-shirt and leather jacket.

"all right let me see your schedule" she said monotone and I handed her my schedule.

"okay well we have three classes together today and two tomorrow, and we have the same lunch both days so you can chill with me and my friends" she said handing me back my schedule I mumbled a quick thanks before we went down a flight of stairs.

"so who were the two new kids with you? siblings I presume" I nodded

"yeah the younger one, Kris, she's my sister and Jasper is a family friend who's staying with us for awhile" I said before we reached the end of the staircase.

"nice, so you have this period by yourself unfortunately, this is Señorita McAdam, she may look nice but her biggest pet peeves are being late and talking when you're not supposed to, this is room 109 remember that, you have history next which is the class next to this one, so just wait out here for me and we can walk in together okay" she said and I nodded before she walked down the hall and disappeared around the corner.

I opened the door and scanned the classroom as all heads shot up, but my mind was more focused on the smell that consumed me, pine and cinnamon, my mate. I saw him sitting in the back his eyes focused on me, my breath hitched in my throat as I got a better look at him, and all his beauty.

"may I help you miss?" a lady said standing up, she was shorter that me and had a thick Mexican accent.

"oh yes sorry, I'm a new student" I said quietly focusing my eyes on her now

"oh yes of course, class this is the new student we have" she said before she continued

"now will you please tell us your name, first and last, where you're from and three facts about you" she asked and I groaned, but only in my head.

"uh sure, I'm Iris Bloodmoon, I moved here to Cincinnati from Dayton, um three facts about me are, I have a younger sister here who's a sophomore, my favorite animal is a wolf, and I am fluent in three languages if you include English" I spoke out and three people raised their hands, my mate included.

"yes Xander?" the teacher said before my mate started talking

"that's an unusual last name" he spoke and his voice almost made me melt, his deep naturally husky voice made me weak at the knees.

"uh yeah, it's a family name nothing I can do about it" I laughed out awkwardly and he smirked at me.

"Ian?" the teacher called on another student

"uh didn't you come here with a guy as well?" I nodded

"uh yeah Jasper, he's a family friend who's living with us for awhile" I stated before the third person was called on.

"Madison?" the teacher called

"what languages do you speak?" a bimbo girl asked with an annoyingly high pitched voice.

"English, Spanish, and Italian" I said and she looked amazed.

"ok can you said, school is hell and I hate it here, in Spanish?" she asked and I nodded

"la escuela es un infierno y lo odio aquí" I repeated and she gasped while the Spanish teacher raised an eyebrow.

"okay, can you say, cafeteria food is disgusting and doesn't count as real food, in Italian?" the same bimbo girl asked and I rolled my eyes before nodding.

"il cibo della caffetteria è disgustoso e non conta come vero cibo" I repeated in Italian and she gasped again making me roll my eyes yet again.

"ok Iris, please take the empty seat next to Xander" she said and my heart sped up as I made my way to the back of the room setting my stuff down as I sat in the desk next to him, I caught him looking at me a couple of times it's going to be so hard to focus with his intoxicating scent right there.

"Chen, take me to see Amon now." Winnip looked seriously at Chen Zhao.
"Uh…" Chen Zhao glanced at Fali.
"Go. Be careful." Fali trusted Chen Zhao.
"You're not coming?" Chen Zhao asked her.
She'd interacted with Amon when they fought with the Mexican gang, so they weren't strangers.
"Okay, I'll go too."
Chen Zhao and Fali were there, but they still made Winnip put on a life vest. The three rode out to sea in a kayak. A while later, Amon appeared.
When the huge head poked out of the water, Winnip was still a bit frightened. After all, the huge mouth could swallow her.
"It won't bite, right?"
"It won't," Chen Zhao promised.
"What does it eat?" Winnip wanted to feed Amon.
Chen Zhao was speechless, thinking, Dear mother-in-law, we didn't bring anything. Other than yourself, you have nothing to feed him with.
Still, Chen Zhao let Winnip ride Amon and go out on a few spins.
"Fali, you won't go on?"
"Nope. There'll be more chances, right?"
"Of course. You can go on at any time." Chen Zhao lay in the kayak, hugging Fali.
Right now, Winnip was like a young girl. She rode the waves while yelling happily. After a leap, Winnip finally came off of Amon with satisfaction.
Chen Zhao went into the water to feed Amon a demonic crystal and dragon meat.
Returning to the kayak, Winnip was still excited. She couldn't calm down.
"Chen, if you can help me train a killer whale, I'll let you take Fali."
"Mom, I'm only worth one killer whale?"
"Oh, then how about two?"
Okay, this queen was a bit funny.
After returning to land, Winnip grabbed Laurent and kept talking about her time with Amon.
Laurent and Chen Zhao had a tacit understanding not to mention things that could hurt each other.
The video of Chen Zhao, Laurent and the others riding Amon once again went viral online. Different from the unclear video from that night, Chen Zhao and the others' faces were finally shown.

Ronnie, Vera, and Faith were playing in the grass. Laffer sat there, letting the kids rest against it.
Laffer wasn't as smart as Black Ma and White Ma, but it was still loyal.
"Faith, Faith, is that Uncle Chen?" Ronnie grabbed Faith. She held a tablet and pointed with her chubby fingers.
Faith studied the screen. "Yeah, that's Uncle Chen."
"His fish is so big."
"I wanna play with a big fish too."
Just then, Risfar and Lora walked out. Ronnie ran over with the tablet.
"Mom, Dad, I wanna go play at Uncle Chen's house. He has a big fish."
"What big fish?"
"Look at the big fish."
Risfar and Lora accepted the tablet with suspicion. "This can't be Chen's pet too, right?"
"Don't know. Maybe it's a wild killer whale?"
"Mom, Dad, can we get a big fish too?"
Risfar had a headache. This type of fish couldn't be raised so easily.
"Daddy, you won't do it? You don't love me anymore?"
Risfar's headache grew worse. This girl was a drama queen.
"Should we ask Chen?"
"But…that's a killer whale… If anything happens…" Risfar wasn't really willing.
Going to watch a performance at the aquarium was one thing. Letting his daughter get close with a killer whale was something else altogether.
"I think Chen should have his own judgment. If he thinks it's dangerous, he won't agree." Ever since Chen Zhao cured Lora, she became very trusting of him.
"I'll ask Dell." Risfar called Dell immediately. "Dell, I have a question. Do you know if Chen has a killer whale as a pet?"
"Oh, you mean Amon? I know. I asked him so many times for me to see Amon, but he won't let me."
"That killer whale is called Amon?"
"You haven't seen the video? Half a month ago, he and his friends ran into a Mexican gang out at sea. Amon saved them. Apparently, this is the biggest killer whale known to humanity now. I have no clue how Chen trained it."
"Right now, your daughter and my daughters all want to go see Amon or have us raise a killer whale too. I have a headache."
"How about we go and eat dinner at Chen's with the kids today?"
"You call him to prepare more dinner. Else there won't be enough food."
…
"Chen, me, Johnny, Lora, and our kids want to eat dinner at your place tonight. Is that okay?"
"Sure. Fali's parents are here too. Oh, bring some groceries. We might not have enough."
After notifying Risfar, they raced over to Chen Zhao's home. Risfar took two bottles of red wine from his wine cabinet.
Seeing everyone here, Chen Zhao first hugged Lora affectionately. "Lora, how have you been these days?"
"I've been great. Thank you, Chen."
"Chen, I brought some wine."
"These aren't million-dollar bottles again, right?" Chen Zhao was still heartbroken over the last bottle.
"Don't worry. These are only a few ten thousand."
A few ten thousand dollars was already a lot. Chen Zhao led everyone inside.
Seeing that Chen Zhao had guests, Laurent didn't embarrass him. He didn't like Chen Zhao, but he wouldn't cause trouble in front of outsiders.
The three kids went straight for Black Ma, White Ma, and Obitos.
"I'm a dragon knight, rawr…" Faith yelled, sitting on Obitos.
"I'm the white wolf knight."
"I'm the black wolf knight."
There were too many people here tonight. Chen Zhao had Kane, Karim and Howard set up two grills in the yard.
Risfar, Dell, and Laurent stood by the grill. They chatted while barbecuing. Lora, Fali, and Winnip sat by the pool to talk.
Just then, Faith came over on Obitos.
"Uncle Chen, where's the big fish? Where is it? Why don't I see it?"
"What big fish?" Chen Zhao had no clue.
"That really, really big black and white one!"
"Faith is talking about Amon," Dell said. "That killer whale."
"I rode Amon today," Winnip said. "It was so fun. Chen brought me. I never imagined that there could be such an obedient killer whale. It's much more obedient and smarter than the ones in the aquarium."
Faith, Ronnie, and Vera stared at Chen Zhao with puppy eyes.


Chen Zhao can summon demons and see Death.

“Beelzebub, use your Gluttony ability to treat this patient’s anorexia.”

“Raymond, this old man wants to regain his manly function. You know what I mean.”

“Blackie, tell me honestly, when and how is this person going to die... What? You don’t know? You’re the Grim Reaper!”

“That lady wants bigger breasts, a prettier face, and a slimmer body. Wait... I don’t have any demons with these subordinate abilities yet. Seems like I need to make another trip to Hell.”"


Francesca stared at the painting and traced the outline of the womans face with her fingers. Heart-like with high cheekbones, brow flat but not too wide and a diminutive mouth revealing little while saying much. Without thinking, she stroked her own face. It was if she was the young women reincarnated from a past life.
Senor Mendez returned, pushing a wheelchair occupied by a very old man. He placed the old man next to the table and waved Francesca to come closer. Still, overwhelmed by the feeling of being somehow connected to the woman in the painting, she moved to the table.
"Francesca Da Rimini, meet Senor Eduardo Mendez, your true and rightful grandfather.
Francesca tried to speak but could not. Sergei continued.
"He will not know who you are. He doesn't even know who I am now. He has been this way for many years. The doctors say he has memory loss disease. There is nothing I can do for him, except keep him comfortable in his state.
Francesca witnessed vacant eyes in his distant look and a chill overcame her.
"But Senor Mendez, how is that possible? I think I need to lay down. I dont feel so well.
She rose from her seat and collapsed. When she awoke, she was lying on a small day bed in the anteroom attached to the restaurant. This all seemed like a dream. She learned more about her family tree in the past couple of hours then in her entire lifetime. Why wasnt she told these things by her mother or Uncle Paolo? What were they hiding? She opened her eyes. Senor Mendez was sitting at the end of the bed. He grasped her hand and held it.

Where did my fathers family come from? The woman in the portrait doesnt look Mexican. 
Your fathers family were Molokans, they traveled from Russia during the pogroms to Mexico to escape religious persecution.

Yes, your grandmother was born in Russia and adhered to the very strict religious practice of her people. But your father was a free spirit and shunned the practices of his elders. When he was a small child he was bitten by a wolf and the people said it made him rebellious. I never believed any of it. Alek was just different from all the other young boys in the village. A Mexican father and Russian mother made it difficult for him to fit in with either group. He thought it would be different in America. 
I really don't understand how any of this makes any sense. My grandfather is Guido Da Rimini.
I know child, that is what you were led to believe, but your maternal grandmother and my father, the old man you just met, were lovers long before you born. My father, just like yours, was a migrant worker in Santa Barbara before he moved back to Mexico. Before he became ill, he confessed to his wife he once loved another woman. He told my mother that he suspected they had a child together and that the child was named, Sorpresa.
Reeling with a thousand questions running through her head, Francesca inquired further.
If what you are saying is true, my mother, and my father were sister and brother?
Yes, same father but different mothers. You can see why this would be a problem. It would bring shame to both families!
So now I know why my mother hid all of this from me?
If its any consolation, Francesca, I dont think she knew, Sergei replied.
Later that evening Sergei showed Francesca photos of her father. He was tall and thin, with very black wavy hair, just like hers. His eyebrows were thick, just like hers. He was the most handsome man she had ever seen. He was her father without question. When she tired of looking at old photos, Sergei showed her a letter that his father, Eduardo, kept hidden in his wooden travel chest. Although the correspondence was in Spanish, Francescas rudimentary knowledge of Spanish allowed her to understand its contents. She stopped reading when she came to the phrase:
Ellos no pueden casarse! (They cannot marry!)
She set the letter down and held her hands to her mouth when she read the signature:
