Hello everyone,

Reading through my earlier chapters, I realized there was something missing in them. I couldn't put my finger on it so I started thinking. 
Going through my outline, I realized my plan for this story's plot is very grand, ambitious even. There will be a lot of fascinating mythology and adventure to come. I believe that in the future, you'll be surprised just how deep and complex the mythos will become. This last chapter starts to touch on some of that, but it's going to take a while to get there.
In contrast, the tone has been very comedic, which makes it much more fun to write for me. However, I think that as a reader, the humor has perhaps made the story feel a bit lighter than I intended. Upon that realization, a normal author might tone down the humor, but...I'm insane. I also like trolling and torturing my characters. So instead, I came up with an alternative idea.
I went back and added short quotes at the top of some chapters which I hope will flesh out some of the mythology aspects, giving them a little more weight. Nothing in the plot has changed. Ideally, it will just make certain aspects more thoughtful and meaningful. If you like, you can go back and read the additions. From now on, when I feel it's appropriate, I'll be adding these kinds of quotes from relevant sources including religious scripture, ancient poetry/documents, or in the case of science fiction--experts in the field.
If the quotes don't work for you, please let me know in the comments as I value your opinions. This arc is going to stay in Europe for a while as the scope of the world broadens. If any of you have a proclivity for detective work, I don't mind letting you know that there will be breadcrumbs all over the story, hinting at and connecting many things. So bust out your magnifying glasses if that gets you off.
However, it's perfectly fine to read the story as casually as you wish. The story has layers, but so does lasagna, and you don't need to eat the whole thing at once big boi. I hope you'll continue to enjoy the story.

These are the words that repeated themselves within Indra's mind. A quote from the Buddha. This was the way in which he wished to live his life, the only problem was, he could not. 

Another of the man's wise quotes was this. 

"Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love, this is the eternal rule." 

Indra repeated these words aloud whilst the others plagued his mind. He wanted only to forget the past and somehow he knew once he achieved that he would no longer dwell on his future either. He needed to forgive those who had wronged him and forget the pain in which those wrongdoings caused him. Samsara was an endless cycle of suffering, one in which he would someday destroy. These words would be his motivation. 

Indra sat within a space of endless darkness. He did not know where he was, how he had gotten here or the reason as to why he was here. He only knew one thing, as soon as he began meditating his body had manifested here, or rather, his soul. He could still feel the intense heat of the blazing tree on his skin but could no longer see it. Sweat ran down his body, it could be felt upon his skin but when he looked at himself there was none to be found. 

Why am I here? 

An answer to this question would come in time, this he was sure of. Indra sat for hours, waiting, watching for the slightest change. None came.

Whilst contemplating whether or not this was some sort of punishment by the system Indra recalled another quote. It resonated within his mind, sort of like a thought but he felt as if he could hear it, but there was no noise here, nothing but silence. 

Three things cannot be long hidden: The sun, the moon, and the truth.

The previous quotes Indra had recalled because he had liked them. This one however, was different. He needed to hear it. He thought hard upon this memory and replayed it in his head. Something finally happened. 

First, a bright ball of light appeared above him, it was smothered by the surrounding darkness and with nothing to shine it's light upon it seemed useless. Next, a round shadow appeared as well, the closer it got to the light the more it revealed itself to Indra's eyes. The closer it got the more he came to realize what it was, the Moon. This led to the realization that  the light must be the sun! 

Once the moon had finally revealed itself completely it began to change and so did the sun. Each one radically transformed into what looked to Indra like teardrops, each one with a curved tail and a hole in the thicker portion. The one that was previously the moon slowly faded to a shade of black, but still lighter than the darkness behind it. The odd teardrop shape that previously represented the sun did the opposite, it became brighter and brighter until finally, it was a shimmering white. When Indra finally realized What he was looking at he wanted to facepalm himself, this was the yin and the yang. The two symbols were drawn to each other as if they were one and the same, like two bald eagles, the ferocious raptor in which symbolized strength and freedom dancing together across and endless sky of darkness. The black rotated so that it was upside down and the white remained upright. Both symbols slowly hovered toward one another until they clicked and became one just as a pair of mating eagles locked talons in a beautiful conjunction of love. 

Immediately after this reunion between the two they began spinning, the speed in which they spun increased slowly for a few moments and then all at once it sped up to and incomprehensible speed, a whirlwind, so fast in fact that the two colors melded together and Indra could no longer differentiate the two. This went on for some time and Indra couldn't take his eyes off the captivating dance of black and white for even a second. 

The last quote from the buddha didn't leave his mind. 

Three things cannot be long hidden: The sun, the moon, and the truth.

He surmised that the moon represented yin and the sun yang. There was still one piece missing, the truth. What represented truth. Indra searched all around him, peering into the endless black that was this realm but still found nothing, unless… 

I'm the truth.

Such a revelation surprised Indra, he thought hard on this theory but could come up with no better answer. That's when one final quote graced his mind. 

The mind is everything, what you think, you become.

This solidified his theory. Obviously these words had meaning to them, he didn't understand why he recollected such things but he knew in his heart that he needed to heed such words. 

The mind is everything, what you think, you become. Indra decided then and there, he could become anything. In this new world the mind was the only limitation. He was Genesis and with this new name came new meaning. Truth. Indra was the only truth, no, Genesis was the only truth in a world filled with lies and deceit. With this revelation finally came a change. The spinning mixture of black and white moved toward him. It shrank as it approached him. The closer it got the smaller it became but it never stopped rotating. It came closer and closer with each passing second and in turn Indra's heart beat faster and faster. Finally upon it's arrival the spinning taiji symbol made contact with Indra's shaking body. It made contact just over where his heart lie beneath the skin and then disappeared. The symbol sunk into his loose monk robes that he still wore from the monastery. he peeled the material away only to find no spinning symbol but something else in its stead. Right were Indra's heart lay was a tattoo of the black and white taiji symbol embedded into his tan skin. 

Unbeknownst to Indra himself this event which seemed to happen within hours was actually months. The time he spent staring into darkness, staring at the spinning symbol, Watching the symbol descend from the black and into his chest, this took months not hours. He didn't make such a profound revelation in mere hours it took him half a year. At this point everything changed. He was no longer in the endless room of darkness but somewhere completely different.
Indra found himself staring at the back of a man's head as the man meditated, reciting words that would later become religion. This scene flickered and next he found himself among a group of people dressed in robes, they recited these same words and then more that he hadn't heard from the mediating man. Once again, the scene changed and he found himself somewhere radically different. He stood among a group of men worshipping a statue that had four arms, he heard them reciting their own religious words, things that sounded profound, meaningful. This process repeated itself hundreds of times. Indra appeared before hundreds of different scenes. Sometime it was a group reciting their most meaningful words of wisdom. Other times it could be a single man speaking of his own morals to nothing but himself. Some didn't even occur on earth and others he suspected weren't even of the same dimension, when he visited these he felt completely disconnected from everything. It was an unexplainable feeling but a feeling all the same. He could spend days on end in a single vision, weeks even, before it changed. Indra's mind recorded every bit of information compiling it into something separate than the rest of his memories. Almost like it had its own separate file. Even though he didn't know what to refer to this as something resonated in his mind. Eclipsing all other words. 

This information would be known as… 

The embodiment of truth. 

There was so much information for Indra to sort through that even with a mind as powerful as his own it would years to sort through, decades to understand. This was his path, his path to truth, his path to freedom.

Ambevilious belted out a laugh so hard that it hurt his stomach. 

"hahaha a monster indeed, this boy will grow to heights even I may never reach. If I play this correctly." Ambevilious tapped his fingers repeatedly against the marble chair in which he had been lounging for a month straight. Indra became more remarkable even now. He may not hold within him two empyream intents but something just as powerful." 

The titan lord beckoned one of his servants over and commanded him to fetch him something from his vault. 

"Are you sure sir?" 

"You dare question your lord!" 

The servant was so scared he couldn't even answer, the man had been with Ambevilious for a century now, his longest one yet, he was smart and knew when and when not to talk while in his lord's presence. The scrawny man scurried out of the room like his life depended on it, which it did. He was back in a matter of minutes holding within his hands one of his lord's most prized possessions. He shivered in shoes, afraid to even hold such a thing in fear of dropping it or leaving even the slightest scuff mark. The young immortal kneeled at the titans feet and presented his treasure with his hands extended above his head. Ambevilious took the treasure within his hands and spoke. 

"This aided me in my quest to power and now it will aid you in yours." He flipped the thin pages with a reminiscent look upon his face. I met Kai, during the annual carnival. Highschool was about to start after it . Two days were left for the carnival to end. Me and Bree used to the fair almost everyday. We even set up our own little stall of handmade jewellery and art pieces at the fair; it was right next to Mrs.Carney's Delicious donuts. She was a wonderful women, infact she helped us getting many customers. She lived next door to Bree , with her husband Aiden and eight years old son named Liam. Liam was such a good kid, oh and when he used to smile , his eyes would just disappear. He was adorable. Infact their whole family was very warm and welcoming.
It was the second last day of the fair. Bree and I had set up our stall ; playing some music we entertained while waiting for the customers. "Um hey excuse me?" , a really sweet voice called us. That's when I saw Kai for the first time. He was tall, with broad shoulders and had chiseled jawline with a cute dimple on his right cheek. His  eyes were hazel with a tint of light brown;  had wavy hair and glasses. He was wearing a white t-shirt that embraced his hard chest , a shirt , denim jeans paired up with cool painted sneakers. I completely zoned out for a moment ; and I must tell you this happens very rare. He just stood there looking at me , as if he was trying to hear my thoughts. We zoned back in reality as Bree cleared her throat on purpose. "Hey, hi umm hello umm so what would you like to buy?" , I was totally embarrassing myself but not like I haven't done it before huh. He chuckled softly and said that he wanted to buy a nice painting for his house and a bracelet spelling out 'Joonie' for his little sister. "Oh how so sweet, let me just make the bracelet and Audrea would you show him the paintings please?", saying this Bree winked at me. What can say, she was one hell of a person afterall ! I let Kai in the stall to take a look at the paintings clearly. "So, what do you think? " I asked. " Well, I would be lying if I say that I don't want to buy all of them. All the paintings are aesthetic and the beautiful quotes , musings at random corners make them even more meaningful. As if they bring them to life." Kai said looking straight into my eyes and I almost drowned into them. " That was one hell of a compliment. Thankyou very much! I'm glad you like them." I said getting a bit nervous; because I'm so not good at handling compliments, I just can't. "Are you kidding me? I love them . You made all these? Wow , I wish I was this talented." , he said with a twinkle in his eyes. I grinned left to right. "I would take the this." , he said holding the one where I painted a masquerade ball. I packed it carefully and handed it over with the bracelet. He thanked me and Bree and left. I looked and Bree and almost squealed.

Sigh. Zian had already reminded Vladimir earlier not to stare at two or three sheep while shearing them, but it had gone in one ear and out the other. Its habit of using famous quotes was really hard to change.
Zhang Zian resigned. He didn't rush over to say hello to Little Celery. Instead, he first corrected Vladimir. "You shouldn't just use quote famous quotes, as they lack flexibility. She's not even that old and is, at most, like the sun at six or seven o'clock in the morning…"
Vladimir listened to Zian's advice and nodded. "Six or seven o'clock is good too."
"Also, what's the meaning of the Meow Meow Doctrine?" Zian asked. He had heard Vladimir shout the name of its move earlier and somehow felt his chrysanthemum tighten…
Vladimir gave it some thought then explained, "That is a good question… In short, it fights for the freedom, equality, and fairness of stray cats. Its goal is also to free stray cats from being bullied and oppressed so that they can decide on their own destiny!"
"Okay then…" Its answer was acceptable, so Zhang Zian wisely decided not to delve into it. Who knew if he might get an inappropriate answer if he continued on the subject…
Little Celery was used to Zhang Zian conversing with animals, although his partner that day was a blue cat that looked very spirited. She had never seen it in the store before.
As the weather turned warm, Little Celery was not wearing clothes as thick as the ones she wore during the early spring. They were replaced with loose-fitting sportswear that were easy to move in. Her clothes were a half a size bigger than her actual size––after all, children grew up fast and clothes that fit couldn't be worn for long. Her mother was definitely a pragmatist.
In addition, she finally did not need to wear thick hats and scarves, so her iconic pigtails were fully exposed now.
Zhang Zian noticed the direction of her pigtails, then recalled that it was definitely the weekend. Ever since he had taken over the pet shop, he had almost lost the concept of time; however, Little Celery's pigtails were as accurate as ever.
"Little Celery, it's the weekend. Why are you here so early on a weekend? Didn't you want to sleep in?" he asked.
Little Celery looked around and exclaimed, "Wow, there's a lot of people!"
Usually during the early morning, the store was as empty as ever––but wasn't Dog Warrior showing? Many local fans who watched the premiere rushed over early in the morning to find Famous so they could get a photo together; however, the shop was not fully prepared for opening, so they were stopped outside by the staff.
There were so many fans lined up outside, and Famous wasn't willing to make the floor dirty with everyone coming in after the staff had cleaned up the place. If all the fans were to be let in, they would interfere with the business, so Famous went outside the shop and satisfied the fans request for photos out there.
Little Celery only remembered after being asked by Zhang Zian that there was a reason she had stopped by. She quickly said, "I don't have class today, but the hamster in our class is going to give birth soon. My classmates told me to ask you if you could come over to help. Do you have the time?"
Little Celery and her friends had been very serious about raising the hamster; they had formed a feeding plan where daily records were taken by the person on duty each day. Through their care, the hamsters grew well, and several female hamsters had gotten pregnant. Now, despite Zhang Zian's long-term guidance, they had no confidence in handling the childbirth process, so they had Little Celery ask Zhang Zian to come and guide them through the process.
Zhang Zian looked at his schedule, and that day he was as free as usual. If he stayed in the store, he would probably be dragged around by the fans and media then forced to answer their questions, so it was better to just head out for a walk.
What was more, the Zhonghua Road Primary School where Little Celery studied was very close to the shop; it was just minutes away.
"Sure! No problem," Zhang Zian said. "I'll take a trip down with you."
"Thank you, Brother Shop Manager!" Little Celery finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"Little Celery, have you eaten?" asked Zian as he touched his own empty belly.
"I have!"
"Then you can play in the shop for a while. We'll leave after I have breakfast."
"Okay!" Little Celery ran into the store cheerfully.
Vladimir, who had been sitting by the side watching and listening, suddenly said, "Can I come along too? I'm new here in Binhai City, so I need to familiarize myself with the nearby terrain and environment. After all, I've got no right to speak without any investigation."
"Sure." Zhang Zian agreed with what it said. He felt that there was nothing wrong with bringing it along.
Zian bought some steamed buns and soy milk, split them between the staff members, and finished his own portion. He then called Little Celery over and left the shop with her.
"Oh… Is this cat coming along with us?" Little Celery asked. She had taken a few steps forward before she turned around and noticed Vladimir tagging along.
Zhang Zian guessed her concerns. "Well, don't worry. It won't hurt the hamsters."
"That's good then." Little Celery finally rested assured.
The current weather was mild and suitable for walking––possibly the best weather for walking in the whole year. Many couples and families were out and about, taking advantage of the good weather. Even Otakus that never left their house were not able to stop themselves from going out for a walk. If they didn't, they would have been wasting such good weather.
On the way down to the school, Little Celery told Zhang Zian about the small problems they had encountered while raising the hamsters, and the interesting things that happened in school. Vladimir followed behind them and observed the unfamiliar city.
Binhai City and the capital were two cities with very different styles. Even if the scale and population of both cities were not taken into consideration, the obvious differences could be seen from their rhythm of life. Due to the limited amount of pressure they placed on life, the residents in Binhai were accustomed a slow and leisurely pace of life.
Occasionally, there would be one or two stray cats on the side of the road or on the wall, and after seeing Vladimir, they didn't have any special reaction. Whether they were fighting or eating food from people's hands, they were no different than usual. They seemed to treat Vladimir as any other ordinary cat, which was very different from their behavior when they saw Fina.
Vladimir was walking leisurely. It would sometimes mumble something and sometimes nod, but Zhang Zian did not know what was going on in its head.
Zhang Zian casually spoke with Little Celery, and periodically he would look back at it. He thought that after leaving the pet shop, Vladimir would be very eager to look around for the Holy Cat statue, however the reality was much different from his own imagination.
Before it could deal with the Holy Cat statue, it had to be located first. The Holy Cat statue was really elusive, and if it were that easy to find, then Zian would have already found it.
Zian was very curious about how Vladimir planned to find the Holy Cat statue in the first place.
Vladimir felt his gaze and smiled back at him with a meaningful smile. The smile was full of self-confidence and it said, "No hurry! No hurry! In any practical work, all the correct leads must come from the puss and blend with the puss!"
Zhang Zian paused. Fortunately, it didn't say into the… puss.
They arrived at the entrance of Zhonghua Road Primary School, and Zhang Zian didn't bother with the Holy Cat statue for the time being. He followed Little Celery into the campus and towards the hamsters.

Another day, another breakdown.
I wake up to the familiar, irritable noise of my alarm clock as my eyes abruptly open. Hauling myself out of bed, I sigh, wishing it was a Friday or even a Thursday. Sadly, it wasn't. So I was forced to carry on, the sun's rays of light almost artificial, the clock ticking too frequently. Even the whistling of my mother busily at work seems peculiar.

Completing my daily routine, I made my way to the kitchen, finding my mum who was already preparing breakfast.  Her sand-blonde hair was pulled back into a ponytail, her ocean-blue eyes shining, a tired smile forming on her light, pink lips. Why couldn't I look like her?

"Good morning," I state, groggily.

"Good morning," mum responds happily.

"What are you making?" I ask, looking over her shoulder, since she was using her small frame to cover my plate.

"Well," she begins, turning round. "I made a healthy breakfast! Consisting of salad, eggs, baked beans..."

It's all so wonderful, too wonderful.
And that's when I realise: "there's a catch, isn't it?"

"That's nice, why did you do it though?"

"Well if you want to start loosing weight, we have to start with a healthy diet!" Mum exclaims. "You don't want to be fat forever, right?"

My whole world comes crashing down. The intention, the gesture itself, is nice. However, the last statement ruined it entirely and for a moment, I thought I even saw the clouds outside my kitchen window, rapidly hover in front of the sun.

I nod, gratefully smile and take the plate, not wanting to exchange any words. After eating and a little hug for a goodbye, I leave.

It's going to be a long day.

Managing to navigate myself through school, I pass time with ease. I answer questions my teachers expect me to know, aware of the eye rolls and dirty looks which get thrown my way. Briskly, I saunter through the hallways, avoiding eye contact and any other types of interaction, whilst also trying to appear ordinary, not giving off strange behaviours.

Finally, it's the last lesson of the day: English. It is my least favourite class and I can't help but think about it with a certain amount of dread. I've never known how to express myself through words. On the contrary, I felt as though they've always limited me. 
I knew that I had to attend the class, due to the fact that I already ditched lesson a few days back. 

I walk in and that's when I see him. Dark hair, greens eyes, looking worried but distracting himself with funny thoughts because not long after, I see him grin. I hold back my smile, not wanting to be noticed by any of my peers. I keep my distance from him, acknowledging his every move. Then, our professor struts in, announcing that we have a new student. Wyatt appears at the front.

"Listen, this is our new student Wyatt Hunter, who'll be studying within this English group for the rest of the year. I want you all to treat him with..."

The class is silent, waiting for Mr Thunderman to finish his own sentence.

"Respect," he ends.

Mr Thunderman clears his throat, telling Wyatt to introduce himself and eventually, taking a seat at his desk.

"Umm... hi, I'm Wyatt as mentioned before and I'm from Dubai. I moved here because my dad got a promotion and I like art. Matter of fact, my dream is to become an artist," he says with an adorable smirk.

Adorable? Wyatt? Ewww!

Soon, I hear a girl beside me whisper to one of her friends; "Wow, I knew Dubai was a hot country but I couldn't have imagined that with hot temperatures, comes even hotter beings."
The two giggle, eyeing Wyatt as he quick gains more confidence.

"That comment was so dry," I think, recalling the girls' words as Wyatt goes on to talking about his tattoos, which are actually quotes.

"...so if you have any meaningful thoughts or conversations to share with me, it might be you who will have a phrase of their own tattooed on my body," he explains.

A girl, the same girl who made the comment, raises her hand.

"Yeah?" Wyatt asks.

"Can I choose where I want the tattoo to be?"

The class erupts into a fit of laughter and without even thinking about it I scoff. All heads turn towards me and that's when the bullying begins.

So much for keeping quiet.

"Who are you scoffing at, Fatty?"

"She's got some guts to be doing that to Miranda, a girl with actual elegance!" A boy shouts, slamming his fists on the table.

"Seriously! What are you, Fatty?"

"A pig!" A girl screams in reply.

"A pig!" The class yells back.

"That's enough...umm, class?" Our teacher tries to gain control, failing terribly.

"Go kill yourself, Fatty!"

"Leave her alone!"

Staring at the owner of the voice, I'm a bit surprised. I thought he'd go with the crowd, since he's the new kid and all. Instead, he stands his ground, determined that he made the right choice.

"Don't be upset Lei Gong, you know those novel's MC who always get in trouble because they will always try to battle someone even if they can't win, and even if they win with the help of plot armor it leads to another big problem"

(How did I end up with a partner like this) However, things were different for Lei Gong. Wan Jie was basically like a training maniac who had been training for 6 hours without taking a break. Adding to his crazy practicing, Wan Jie also had a talent for cultivation which helped him greatly.

After giving Qinyue some really 'meaningful' advice, Wan Jie asked her to sleep with him but she immediately refused him to which Wan Jie was not surprised and told her to sleep in his other bed which was small and was mainly used as a sofa.

While Wan Jie and his companion were asleep, in a room of Wan family's villa a young man and an old man were sitting while facing each other. The expression on the young man looked like his shit was stuck halfway through the hole *cough* but the old man was calm without any emotions. 
"Old man, you have to give me justice that trash Wan Jie got a Peak 3-star grade weapon but I only have a Low grade one," said Wan Gu to his father in a displeased voice.
"Don't cry like a bit*ch, even I only have a Low 4-star Grade weapon, I am on the verge of breaking through to Heavenly Spirit Realm and if I breakthrough without losing much of my life force I will throw off my brother from the Patriarch position," said Wan Ling in his normal tone.
Wan Gu already knew the advantages of being the patriarch's son and would be lying if he said he wasn't excited, not only would he get the best recourses but would also get the best grade weapons.

I took the clothes and change into it.its a pink hoodie that matches my black Jean's. when I get out of the stall I saw a girl without a face mask on, and she's pretty I'm not gonna lie.

Yujin:uhmm had you see a girl with mask on?
??:oh that's me *giggles* well I think my hoodie fits you
Yujin:uh yeah...uhm may I know your name please?

Yujin:oh...thanks for the hoodie anyways,it matches my Jean'sBy the way I'm Lee Yujin,nice to meet you
Lisa:Lee Yujin? I heard so much about you online,and yeah nice to meet you too

We shake our hands and get out of the toilet and headed to my table before. she ordered drinks for us.

Lisa:what are you doing here anyways?
Yujin:I met up with my uncle,and I was about t leave when I bumped into you
Lisa:sorry are you in a hurry?
Yujin:no actually. how about you?
Lisa:I'm meeting up with my unnies and bumped into you
Yujin:unnies? you mean your bandmates?
Lisa:yup,Jennie,Jisoo,and Rosè unnie,and I'll introduce you to them
Yujin:oh ok

after 5 minutes 3 masked girls came to us and sat down. they took out they're mask and faced lisa

Lisa:unnie your here,let me introduce you to Lee Yujin,Lee Yujin they are my bandmates

We drink our coffee talk about random stuff,and exchanges our numbers.And now I'm heading home walking. after minutes I felt someone following meso I fastened my pace.When im near at our house I looked back and see no one behind me,I then ran into the house and quickly went in my room.i took my laptop out and hacked CCTV's near our house. I look for the cam where I felt someone following me and found it. I reviewed the video and watched,when I see myself walking in a fast pace I saw a boy behind me,he looked kinda familiar so I zoomed in the face and I'm right,it's my childhood friend Marco.i sigh and texted called him in the phone.And he picked it up.

Marco:I guess you know it's me already?
Yujin:yes and care to explain?
Marco:I saw at the internet that your here in korea so I looked for you but I don't know where you live so I go to a coffee shop to rest when I saw you with BlackPink,and your heading home walking so I decided to surprise you but you walked helle fast and I think if I ran after you,you'll also run,so I just stayed at my speed and kept following you,when I saw you where you were heading I finally know your house and get home. that's it
Yujin:do you know how worried and  nervous I am?
Marco:*chuckles*sorry I won't do it again
Yujin:meet me tomorrow,at Hann River,9 PM sharp
Marco:ok
Yujin:see you bye

I hung up and go downstairs greeted by Kevin.

Yujin:where's mom?
Kevin:kitchen

I go to the kitchen to see my mother cooking

Yujin:mom...what are you cooking?
Mom:your favorite

Mom:call themothers now,I'll prepare the table
Yujin:ok

I call Chungha and Kevin to the dining area and we started to eat.after eating I head to my room and slept because I'm tired.

"Where'd you learn to pilot like that? Wooo!" 
Dumb luck, all of it. When I re-tell the story, I'll be sure to embellish it. My heart sank removing the gag from Cotter Perry's mouth. Some of the regiments he taught me at Phoenix base I still used. A few inspirational quotes he spewed during the five-mile drills on occasion would bounce around in my head.  Deep down I knew he didn't deserve this. Such is life. I expected a mouthful of curses, unattractive words about my mother, and Weston's mother. Instead, he warned me vehemently. Running out of breath, paled look on his face, sweat developing on his forehead. He aged five years within seconds. Visibly shaken, it took me three attempts to actually piece together his words. 
"Slow it down, what are you saying?" I yawned again during the questioning. 
"The warship...thruster...connected to the gas tank..." he screamed. 
"Can I trust you? If I untie you, will you be cool? You know how to work this thing?" "It doesn't matter...the ship is going..." 
"Bas niveau de carburant détectée. Dommages dans le réservoird'essence. Bas niveau de carburant détectée. Arrêten cinq minutes," the loud notification rang out. 
"Rook! What are you doing? We're losing altitude!" 
"I'm not even at the fucking command center, you've been flying solo the whole..." 
The warship dropped forty feet within seconds. All the loose items hit the roof, then crashed back to the floor. Including a hogtied Cotter Perry and I. Needless to say, the fall ended Cotter Perry's cautioning and woke me up, as I slammed hard on my shoulder. Weston was the only person buckled into a seat. More 'putt-putt-putt' noises, growing louder, then another drop, another forty feet. I braced myself that time and watched Cotter Perry land on his neck.  
"We're going down!" 
"Orthèse pour l'impact. Impact estinévitable." 
Crawling over to him, I started removing the rope from his feet and arms. He squirmed, murmuring painful noises. Once free, I dragged him to the co-pilot seat and strapped him in. I glanced over at Weston's face, it looked like he saw a terrifying glimpse into the afterlife. Eyes wide open, tears streaming down the sides, mouth open but no sounds emerged. Cutting through the thick rainclouds, plummeting to our deaths. I attempted to keep my eyes open as long as I could. Face to face with my maker. I had a good run, I was tired. Death felt warm, welcoming, the ultimate sleep. No fear at what lied ahead. Right before everything went black, I saw that familiar atomic tangerine color on the surface below. Could it be? The flatland... 
"Early morning Blue, funnyman? For your troubles?" 
My eyes were crusted over, yet the sun was still piercing through. What day is it? 
"...Leif?" 
"Close enough, see anything sweet on the other side? I thought your heart stopped at first. You quit breathing. I didn't help you either, figured you're tougher than that. Soon after, you started breathing again." 
"...what?" 
"Looks like your hair's growing back too. May need another shave. Before folks out here think you're unclaimed." 
Another voice, opposite side of the one talking. 
"That son of a bitch wake up yet? I checked the whole thing, aside from the two we know, there's nobody else. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that animal boy ain't here no more. He needed to go. But where's Sage?" 
"You know how shocked I was to find Cotter-fucking-Perry? I mean, alive at that. Where the hell did he find that old fucker? Surprises on top of surprises. (Looking at the warship)...hmm, I think I can find some use for this. Scrap maybe."  
A third voice, deep and meaningful. 
"In time we will know all. The phoenix must burn to emerge." 
"By the look of him, he's overcooked alright, like barbequed Meskle." 
A fourth voice. 
"Should we take him to the Deadzone now? 
I'm more than convinced he's suffered a concussion. 
Or at the minimum, he's been passed out for far too long. 
Check his ear, has it been cut?" 
"Nah, he's in one piece. Lucky bastard, no Deadzone either, that's too good for his kind. Give it a moment, he'll be up soon.  
"Hmmm, I wish Douglie was here. He's better at diagnosing than I ever will be." 
"Waelon still lining them up, back at Hornet?" 
"Five Umbrage dead just this morning." 
"Good, good. Picked an opportune time to come back, funnyman. We in control now." 
"Yea, he can go back home. Back to living his life as the infamous child-killer. Coup told us all about it, well, during his insane rants. We shut him up good though. And that old bitch." 
"You know what, drag him by the legs. Let's toss him in Serene. That'll wake him up." 
"No...no I'm awake." 
A tendril of smoke navigated my eyes to Blayse's lips, as the rolled cigarette dangled in his mouth, fat with tobacco in the middle, just how he liked them. Ash still holding on, gaining length with every second. Albatross squatted down, putting his face intimately close to mine, scanning me, looking for injuries.  
I heard his knees pop when he stood back up. Tomorrow's eyes fluttered from me and to the floor, back and forth. I'm not sure whether his eyes were watering or my own. Lastly, I saw Puck's back, he was staring at the crash site. The side had a huge hole in it, the back was charred, but the front was still intact. Minus some broken glass and steel bending. He turned to me, and my testicles shriveled up. Even after all this, he still has some power over me.  
"You sure you don't want none?" he placed two drops on his tongue, smacked his lips. "I was joshing before, in all seriousness. I'm glad you're alive." 
He extended an Olive branch, a gesture still foreign to me. Despite our past, our progress, I hesitated. He leaned in and gripped my hand, pulling me up to my feet. 
"Blayse told me everything...your friend. Shit, our friend now. The Collector. A man worth twenty if you ask me. We wouldn't have won without him. On the walk back, remind me to show you something." 
"Where's Weston, and Cotter Perry?" 
"Where's Sage, goddamnit?" Blayse yelled out. 
"He...he didn't make it. Omni got him. Same with the Mason Twins." 
The word 'Omni' stopped everyone dead in their tracks. They started looking at me like I was dead for real, an apparition.  
"Say that again?" Albatross said. 
"You met Omni?" Tomorrow gasped. 
"Don't say that shit too loud, Jezpers all over this place," Puck warned. 
"Too much right now, let's get back to 
Hornet first. Is Weston alive?" 
"You mean the other old man...nah he didn't make it. His spine was hanging out his back. Mangled up, real mess." 
"...damn," I sighed deeply, nearly whimpering. Puck laughed and slapped me on the back so hard I fell to the ground. 
"Haha, I'm messing with you. You ain't the only funnyman in the Vipers. Hell yea that guy's good. How do you think we found you?" 
"I missed you," Tomorrow whispered.
