Hi everyone, author here. First off, thank you all so much for the support on this novel and the wonderful collections that I keep seeing. I'm writing this notice as a kinda survey. After freshening up a bit, I joined the group of home invaders as they were bringing in food and setting things up. I sat down on my couch, the cold leather a comfort to my odd tastes as I watched everyone go about preparing. 

Melanie slipped in to settle beside me, peering over silently at me as she ate a creamy-looking yogurt parfait from who-knows-where. She looked bothered, and when she finished eating she started to put the spoon down the table. I thought for a moment she was going to get yogurt all over my furniture, but from a small black dot in the table sprung open a compartment that unfolded and ejected a towel onto the flat of the surface before closing back up. 

It all happened so fast I could have sworn the napkin was there all along. She placed the spoon on the paper and sat in silence for a few seconds, then kicked me in the leg. "Ow! What the hell, Melly?" God, she was glaring at me something awful. 

She spoke back, and I gave her a chance to explain, not wanting to get kicked again. "Scare me like that again and you'll pay for it." Oh. Yeah, I guess I deserved the kick in this case. I don't know why, but her gaze held me firm as she looked like she might burst into tears again. Not wanting to make the girl cry, I kept it short. Feeling like I owed her an apology. "Sorry about that ... "

There was something different about her, but I wasn't sure asking would do any good. I must've been staring a while, though, because she turned a harsh shade of red and got up, heading off to help with setting up I assumed. I was about to throw my head back when Thomas thumped down on my other side, speaking under his tone, "Someone's got a crush." 

I turned to Thomas as multiple questions cropped up in my had all at once. The first one shoving its way out of my mouth, "You're here too?" He nodded, snatching up Melanie's bowl with the leftover yogurt that she'd left to join her spoon when she got up. I wasn't about to judge, but that couldn't have been sanitary. 

Thomas didn't answer me further, and my sight was drawn back to Melly as she and everyone else began to settle down onto the couch. They all looked exhausted as the Headmaster took out a remote from his pocket and pointed it at the TV centered against my wall. 

The remote was a tiny thing, small and white with a finger pad and a few buttons, but the TV turned onto a program I'd never seen before and Mister Subaru began to speak. "What do you young folk watch these days?" I could tell he was jesting, even though the Headmaster could have easily passed off as a  father.

Things were awkwardly silent. Apparently there wasn't much in the ways of movies in the future. I was about o speak up when Thomas said what was on my mind, leaning in to see around me. "If you want movie advice, I think the man of the dorm might know of something. His was the time of entertainment, after all. Or I could suggest something to watch?" He seemed to get a kick out of that as every head swiveled almost in unison. He must've had poor tastes. 

I pointed to the TV, still sort of tired. "There was a movie series called Avengers written by a studio named Marvel back in my day? We could try that." God, that felt weird. What am I, an old man now?

After showing me to the collections app they used for the TV's, which was immense with old and new movies alike, The Headmaster got up and dimmed the lights for everyone as I clicked through it. Scrolling through the M's, I found it. I decided that if they were going to start anywhere, it might as well be the first movie. Marvel: Avengers. I clicked play and the movie began.

Avengers didn't have quite the impact I was expecting, but the group seemed to enjoy it. There were some laughs, especially from Thomas and Subaru. We were about a quarter of the way in when Melanie appeared next to me, slipping into sit between me and the arm of the sofa. She sighed, her attention seeking split between me and the movie. I looked over at her curiously before turning back to the TV. Okay, I thought. Make yourself at home, then. 

We were more than halfway through the movie when I felt a pressure on my lap, and glanced down. Melly had ... I flushed hard. Melanie had fallen asleep, her head and arms cuddling my lap as she breathed gentle breaths against my leg. I looked around and spotted her father, the Headmaster, smiling at me and her most curiously. When he caught my look he turned back to the screen, pretending not to care. 

It was another 40m before the movie ended, and by that time both of Melanie's firiends had joined her in her rest either through boredom or exhaustion. It was about 9:17 PM and everybody else had taken notice of my predicament at that point as they got up softly. Even Thomas, the most energetic person in the room, leaned up and off the sofa with more graceful quiet than I'd expected of him.

Everyone filed out, with Mister Subaru holding the door. The Headmasters eyes crinkling on me gently as he eyed the girls, "I trust you'll see to them, James. I'd rather not wake her up right now." I nodded, happy to have the CEO's trust. He left with a final look at me and a couple words of goodbye, "She likes you a lot, you know. Try not to do anything to betray that. We'll talk tomorrow in the office~" 

As the door shut gently, Melanie stirred just a bit. I sighed myself, finally returning to the peace and quiet. It was tranquil-like with the collection of soft exhalation from the girls that mingled with the silence in the dorm room. My eyelids felt heavy, and I was about to give into the sleep myself when I heard a whisper in my head. Indistinct, but it tugged at me. Calling my attention away from my sleep to the direction of the bedroom.

I gently lifted Melanie's head up off me along with her arms and placed her on the couch as my body gave me little option but to follow the echoing whispers. My feet carried me into my room, and the door shut softly without my say-so. I was too tired, and my reflexes were slower than normal, but I turned towards the corner of the door to find a strangely dressed man who struck me as familiar. Too familiar.

The man spoke calmly, addressing me by name even though we'd never met before. His voice a strange comfort to me, "Hello, James."

According to the government, the Warrior's Department was established because of the sudden rise in martial arts trend and public interest. In a way, it was a martial artist association instead of an actual department. However, signs showed that the Warrior's Department had great authority!

Moreover, the sudden rise in interest for martial arts was abnormal as well. They were in a technological age, yet in this age where martial arts were being phased out, it suddenly regained a new drive and formed the authoritative Warrior's Department.
It was understandable for China to have interest in martial arts, but when the other countries suddenly had a rising interest in martial arts as well, it became very intriguing. Since when did foreigners develop an interest in Kungfu?

Ye Lingchen then thought of the giant python, Old Tortoise, and that weird mutated Elder Hiroshi. They were characters that would only appear in movies, yet the Warrior's Department dealt with them calmly. Now that he thought about it, they seemed to be numbed to such sights.
'Damn it, did I transcend to another dimension when I received the system? Did I travel to a universe like Marvel?'
Ye Lingchen was wracked with doubts.
Following that, he shook his head and dismissed those weird thoughts. He probably did not transcended, but instead, this world had undergone some sort of unknown change.
He was already an Upper-Class Guardian, yet he was not privy to the truth. It seems that he needed a chance to coax it out of Qin Baichuan.
He then buried those thoughts within himself. He was, after all, a living cheat. What he needed to do at the moment was to raise his abilities so that when the time comes, he could deal with any surprises.
The next day, Ye Lingchen got up early as usual. After some simple morning exercise, he started his Eight Extremities Brute Training and Cultivation breathing technique. "What are you planning?" Xu Zhen looked suspiciously at him. "Son, listen to me. Don't waste your money even if you're rich!"
"Mom, this time it's really for official matters. I'll have you know that this piece of jade is a spiritual jade!" Ye Lingchen whispered convincingly.
"Spiritual jade?" Xu Zhen was confused.
"Spiritual jade!" Ye Lingchen emphasized once more. "I've experienced much in Capital City. They have jades like this over there as well, with prices in the millions. I'm here to find those that people missed out!"

When the old teacher walked out of the small classroom, the students began to gather with there own respective groups and started to chat about their everyday lives with their friends.

Just like a normal classroom in every school, the students chatting grew louder and louder when their teacher left the room.

Sitting in the corner of the room was a beautiful black haired girl with spotless fair skin. The sunlight shone through the window and illuminated her silky straight hair that reached her shoulders. She wore a white polo and slender slacks with black flat shoes. Some might call her weird because of her boyish nature, but as a wise man once said "Everything always has a reason".

"Daisy let's eat!" Despite the cold gaze of the girl, her dark skinned friend was still courageous enough to call her out.

The girl sighed helplessly. "Hey! Didn't I tell you to call me Skye instead, the name Daisy just makes my feel weird" Skye said as she looked at her friend.

Skye's friend didn't bother to correct herself and just grabbed Skye out of her chair.

After a few moments of pleading, Skye eventually gave in and left the classroom with her, now joyful, friend. She also remembered that she wanted to use the school's library network to check a few things.

Along the hallway, Skye started reminiscing about what happened in the past few days.

From a professional man to a woman in her teens. It took a week for the former man named Skye to get her mental health in check.

All the former man remembered before waking up in this world was that she was so dizzy after arranging all the collections of comic books on her shelf in her past life.

Skye also had a hard time adjusting to having a new female body, especially when it came to dressing up. Fortunately, there wasn't much hate about being a lesbian in the place she now lived. Thus, she just wore a simple white polo and black slender slacks, and don't forget the black undergarments too.

Her predecessor didn't leave any kind of combat realated inheritances, but despite that , Skye still had an anti-wolf electic shock device and good hacking skills. The latter was the only available method for the current Skye to use.

Three days later everything was ready, she arranged the equipment quickly and made sure to camouflage her voice for this plan.

Through hacking she was able to get her target's phone number. Skye's got the number of Jasper Sitwell.

Despite being a staff of the Government and a member of S.H.I.E.L.D, the bald man named Jasper was actually an agent of a group named HYDRA.

The Terrigan Crystals that Skye needed were stored in the special warehouse of SHIELD. This brown egg Jasper was an important pawn she needs for her plan.

As a good hacker, it wasn't difficult for Skye to confirm that the number did in fact belong to Jasper Sitwell.

After hacking through the internet to find Jasper's location, Skye blacked out several cctv's and moved some of them to face the place where Jasper was in right now in order to observe him.

First let me say this. I want to thank all of you, who supported me on this journey of my first book. Thank you for commenting, voting, reviewing or just silently reading this little book of mine. 

I really appreciate it! 

I was really happy when I saw that we sometimes even reached rank 30 and the fact that we could hold this book steadily in the top 100.

In the end there are approximately 7.000 of you, who had put this book into your Collections, and we amassed a total of 3,537 Million Views! I have to say, I am really proud of this, but everything has to end.

I know on this website it is really unusual that a book ends after only 250 chapters (363k Words btw.), but I decided this is the best for me right now. 

I had some ideas to continue this story, in the Dragon Ball Universe like that soul prison, the fifth timeline or demon realm. This, of course, before Zeno's fight. 

Obviously, I also thought that his adventures would continue in other Universes like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Btw. don't ask me what significant event would have happened there as your guess would be as good as mine.

I have always written daily and never planned ahead, which was intentional. I wanted to enjoy this novel as a reader would and therefore never knew where the story was heading.

So, if you were surprised at some plot points, so was I. 
Obviously, my reaction was more like, 'That's a nice idea! Wait, does that even make sense, *flips pages to previous chapters*. Omg! It does! *writes it down*'. Well, most of the times, if it didn't then I blamed a character for being wrong or it was a scheme all along.

There were also some parts of the stories that I was dissatisfied with in hindsight in terms of sentence structure, cringe or plot, but I won't continue the story or change it in any way. 

Although it has its flaws, it just shows the mood, way of thinking and skill I had at that moment and I think I don't want to erase that just to make it the 'perfect' story. I like it how it is.

Writing this story has given me an outlet for my 'creativity', but mostly to escape reality. It is not because I am sad or depressed, it was just that it had been a good way to take a break from everything and have some fun with my imagination, while sharing it with others.

Now on why I am ending this book. 

I didn't experience any tragedies of any sorts, so don't worry, but I still need to close this chapter of my life. (Pun intended)

I wasn't clear on this at the beginning, obviously, but writing a chapter is really time consuming, at least for me. 

In the beginning, I needed 4 hours to write a chapter of ca. 1100 words. In the end I had increased the words per chapter to 1400-1600 words, which btw. conditioned me in pumping up word counts in essays as well.

I currently need 1,5 - 2 hours for a chapter and then another half for editing as English isn't my first language.

It may not sound a lot on a daily basis as I had rarely written more than one chapter in a day, but it accumulates over weeks and months.

I even started to prioritize writing a chapter, instead of doing what I really wanted and needed to do in my free time. Of course, it was a pressure that I have given myself and in comparison, to other authors it isn't a lot at all, but it made writing a duty and not a hobby. 

Of course, one could say that I could just decrease the chapters per week and continue, but I know myself. I know that once I don't do it daily, I will neglect it more and more until only 1 chapter per month is being released. 

This was also why I have never missed a single day of releasing a chapter as I would have spiraled down until I would have just dropped it without a proper ending.

At least now, this book has an ending, which I hope you like or rather can accept. If you dislike it, well, I won't change it.

Btw. for those who give a sh*t, I played with the idea to drop this book back when Broly was teaching Kale and Caulifla. 

I am rambling, aren't I?

What I am trying to say is that writing just doesn't fulfill me with the joy that I had in the beginning, even though it makes me emotional to end it now. 
Additionally, I don't have enough time to sustain this hobby and would rather spend it to sort out my life. 
(Could have just started with that and this afterword would have been a lot shorter, wouldn't it? Guys, this is how to pump up those rookie numbers!)

I have at least three books that are swirling around in my head since years.

Who knows, one day I might open this website again, not to read but to write another story and some of you might join in on the fun, writing something like "eat a d*ck" or something similar nice.
