"Nova, Nova! Over here" A voice called out. Nova turned and saw that it was Hermione. Seeing it was her, Nova had a large smile on his face as he gave her a big hug. 
"It is good to see you. I see that you have been working on strengthening your souls. Good." Nova told her.
"It's been so long since you have seen me and that is all you have to say?" Hermione asked.
Cocking his head sideways, Nova had a puzzled look, "Nova, Hermione is look to hear words of affection from you." A random voice said.
"MOTHER! Don't say that. You will give him the wrong idea." Hermione said to her mother, Rose.
"Now dear. Don't taunt your daughter too much." Hermione's father, Ian stated.
"Madam, Sir. It is good to see you again. Did you enjoy your vacation?" Nova asked.
"We did indeed. Though I feel that we have entered fantasia once again. This alley never ceases to amaze me." Ian said, though this was not his first time here. His wife and him were both nervous.
"Harry, Ron? Are you guys alright?" Hermione said as she just now noticed the frozen Weasley family.
Hearing her voice, the Weasley's finally start to come out of their stupor. With the amount of times it was happening, Nova wondered if it was a family thing.
"We are fine Hermione, Nova is just breaking reality for us." Ron said. 
Mr. Weasley finally came to, and instead of saying anything to Nova, distracted almost at once by the sight of Hermione's parents, who were standing nervously at the counter that ran all along the great marble hall, waiting for Hermione to introduce them. 
"We must have a drink! What's that you've got there? Oh, you're changing Muggle money. Molly, look!" He pointed excitedly at the ten pound notes in Mr. Granger's hand.
Suddenly there was a large crash as a goblin, lept over his counter and knocked over his scales. 
"Ah Your Lordship! You are here!" the goblin exclaimed suddenly. Realizing it was Nova who the goblin was speaking to, several other goblins quickly brought out an ornate throne and table and laid desserts and snacks out for him and all but pushed him into the chair.
"How can we be of assistance today?" The goblin said as he bowed in front of Nova. Seeing the sight, every witch and wizard in the building, jaws fell to the floor. They have never seen such a sight.
"Yes I am here with the Weasleys and Mr. Potter, who need to make deposits and withdrawals from their vaults. Also the Grangers need to perform a currency exchange."
The group that have finished picking up their jaws could only shake their heads, couldn't the young man see that others were waiting as well?
"Certainly." The goblin then clapped his hands and two other goblins appeared and immediately escorted their respective parties to make the transactions. Everyone else's jaws fell to the floor.
"Nova what is going on?" Hermione asked.
"No clue."
"Your Lordship. Could you be so kind as to allow our craftsmen to study your Spatial Ring." the goblin asked.
"Sure." Nova took off the ring and gave it to the goblin. "Tell your craftsmen they have until the Weasley group returns to bring me back my ring."
"That is only ten minutes though." a goblin protested.
"You best get moving then." Nova replied as he reached for a lemon turnover. The goblins all but flew to their craftsmen. The full extent of chaos that was caused by the ten minute timer Nova had set for them was unknown to him. But he didn't really care. Nova once watched an entire race of craftsmen wipe out another for a one day lesson from him on sword forging.
After ten minutes had passed a goblin with forging equipment came running into the room, one second before the Weasley's and Harry had arrived, with his ring on a silk pillow.
"Thank you for this opportunity, Your Lordship!" The goblin smith said. 
Nove picked up his ring and studied it, "I see that you have cast 5 different molds of my ring and used mithril grade hammers to insure the ring could be imprinted into the steel molds. Though one of you used a clay made of ash and pumice to try and pick up any grooves that the steel might have missed." 
"Tis true Your Lordship. It is exactly as you have said." The goblin smith said as he kneeled on the floor."
"Though your brother's molds might not be successful, I am still impressed at what your kin were able to accomplish. Here take this quill. It is the simplest and least impressive of my creations. If you or your craftsmen are able to create anything off of it's design. I will educate your clan for one day. You have until the Winter Solstice."
Nova took out a quill that he had made last year and put it on the pillow the goblin was still holding.
Seeing the quill, the goblin could only stare at it. "Thank you, thank you for this honor!"
"Remember you have only until the Winter Solstice." Nova said and got up and left leaving all the goblins to clean up the mess that was bound to happen.
"Why did you do that?" Hermione asked.
"Why not? Let us see if they are indeed as cable as they say they are." Nova stated.
Hermione could only sigh in defeat. The Weasley's had joined them outside as well on the marble steps. They all separated. Percy muttered vaguely about needing a new quill. Fred and George had spotted their friend from Hogwarts, Lee Jordan. Mrs. Weasley and Ginny were going to a secondhand robe shop. Mr. Weasley was insisting on taking the Grangers off to the Leaky Cauldron for a drink.
"We'll all meet at Flourish and Blotts in an hour to buy your school books," said Mrs. Weasley, setting off with Ginny. "And not one step down Knockturn Alley!" she shouted at the twins' retreating backs.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione strolled off along the winding, cobbled street. The bag of gold, silver, and bronze jangling cheerfully. Nova decided not to follow the Idiot Duo and Hermione, but instead went with Mrs. Weasley and Ginny.
"Mrs. Weasley. There is no need to go to a second hand store for Ginny's robes. Now that you have the resources you should use them." Nova said.
He then led the two to Madam Malkins for Ginny's robes. He was also in need of alterations done on his robes as well since they were now a few inches too short and had a few burns and tears in them for whatever strange reason. 
After the alterations were done, Nova excused himself from the two and went towards the bookstore. The witches and wizards who saw him along the way were talking amongst themselves, Nova let out a small smile as he heard some of the gossip about his glasses and the stunt in Gringotts.
Along the way Nova met up with Harry, Ron and Hermione. They saw to their surprise a large crowd jostling out side the doors, trying to get in. The reason for this was proclaimed by a large banner stretched across the upper windows: 
GILDEROY LOCKHART will be signing copies of his autobiography
MAGICAL ME today 12:30 P.m. to 4:30 P.m
"We can actually meet him!" Hermione squealed. "I mean, he's written almost the whole booklist!"
The crowd seemed to be made up mostly of witches around Mrs. Weasley's age. A harrassed-looking wizard stood at the door, saying, "Calmly, please, ladies .... Don't push, there ... mind the books, now . . . . "
Harry, Ron, and Hermione squeezed inside. A long line wound right to the back of the shop, where Gilderoy Lockhart was signing his books. They each grabbed a copy of The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 2 and sneaked up the line to where the rest of the Weasleys were standing with Mr. and Mrs. Granger.
"Oh, there you are, good," said Mrs. Weasley. She sounded breathless and kept patting her hair. "We'll be able to see him in a minute ...
Gilderoy Lockhart came slowly into view, seated at a table surrounded by large pictures of his own face, all winking and flashing dazzlingly white teeth at the crowd. The real Lockhart was wearing robes of forget-me-not blue that exactly matched his eyes; his pointed wizard's hat was set at a jaunty angle on his wavy hair. 
A short, irritable-looking man was dancing around taking photographs with a large black camera that emitted puffs of purple smoke with every blinding flash.
"Out of the way, there," he snarled at Ron, moving back to get a better shot. "This is for the Daily Prophet -"
"Big deal," said Ron, rubbing his foot where the photographer had stepped on it.
"Indeed I have to agree with Ron on this one. Though I can understand you mortals desire to mate and propagate. I have never fully understood why there is more of a physical attraction than an attraction in ability. I have found that the more attractive the mortal is, the more often he is ill suited for mating and has no real abilities whatsoever. I believe you mortals call it being a pompous fraud.
When Nova said this many of the women glared at him with hate, while some of the men were nodding their heads in agreement.  Now, of course, Gilderoy Lockhart heard him. He looked up. He saw Ron and Nova,and then he saw Harry. He stared. Then he leapt to his feet and positively shouted, "It can't be Harry Potter?"
The crowd parted, whispering excitedly; Lockhart dived forward, seized Harry's arm, and pulled him to the front. The crowd burst into applause. Harry's face burned as Lockhart shook his hand for the photographer, who was clicking away madly, wafting thick smoke over the Weasleys.
"Nice big smile, Harry," said Lockhart, through his own gleaming teeth. "Together, you and I are worth the front page."
When he finally let go of Harry's hand, Harry could hardly feel his fingers. He tried to sidle back over to the Weasleys, but Lockhart threw an arm around his shoulders and clamped him tightly to his side.
"Ladies and gentlemen," he said loudly, waving for quiet. "What an extraordinary moment this is! The perfect moment for me to make a little announcement I've been sitting on for some time!
"When young Harry here stepped into Flourish and Blotts today, he only wanted to buy my autobiography -which I shall be happy to present him now, free of charge-" The crowd applauded again. "He had no idea," Lockhart continued, giving Harry a little shake that made his glasses slip to the end of his nose, "that he would shortly be getting much, much more than my book, Magical Me. He and his schoolmates will, in fact, be getting the real magical me. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I have great pleasure and pride in announcing that this September, I will be taking up the post of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!" 
The crowd cheered and clapped and Harry found himself being presented with the entire works of Gilderoy Lockhart. Staggering slightly under their weight, he managed to make his way out of the limelight to the edge of the room, where Ginny was standing next to her new cauldron.
"Poor Harry." Nova sighed. "Thank the Void I am not famous like him." Nova then watched Harry go over to Ginny and tipp the books into her new cauldron.
"Bet you loved that, didn't you, Potter?" said a voice Harry had no trouble recognizing. He straightened up and found himself face-to-face with Draco Malfoy, who was wearing his usual sneer.
"Famous Harry Potter," said Malfoy. "Can't even go into a bookshop without making the front page."
"Leave him alone, he didn't want all that!" said Ginny. It was the first time she had spoken in front of Harry. She was glaring at Malfoy.
"Potter, you've got yourself a girlfriend!" drawled Malfoy. Ginny went scarlet as Ron and Hermione fought their way over, both clutching stacks of Lockhart's books.
"Oh, it's you," said Ron, looking at Malfoy as if he were something unpleasant on the sole of his shoe. "Bet you're surprised to see Harry here, eh?"
"Not as surprised as I am to see you in a shop, Weasley," retorted Malfoy. "I suppose your parents will go hungry for a month to pay for all those."
Ron went as red as Ginny. He dropped his books into the cauldron, too, and started toward Malfoy, but Harry and Hermione grabbed the back of his jacket.
"Ron!" said Mr. Weasley, struggling over with Fred and George.
"What are you doing? It's too crowded in here, let's go outside."
"Well, well, well - Arthur Weasley."
It was Mr. Malfoy. He stood with his hand on Draco's shoulder, sneering in just the same way.
"Lucius," said Mr. Weasley, nodding coldly.
"Busy time at the Ministry, I hear," said Mr. Malfoy. "All those raids ... I hope they're paying you overtime?"
He reached into Ginny's cauldron and extracted, from amid the glossy Lockhart books, a very old, very battered copy of A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration.
"Obviously not," Mr. Malfoy said. "Dear me, what's the use of being a disgrace to the name of wizard if they don't even pay you well for it?"
Mr. Weasley flushed darker than either Ron or Ginny.
"We have a very different idea of what disgraces the name of wizard, Malfoy," he said.
"Clearly," said Mr. Malfoy, his pale eyes straying to Mr. and Mrs. Granger, who were watching apprehensively. "The company you keep, Weasley ... and I thought your family could sink no lower."
 There was a thud of metal as Ginny's cauldron went flying; Mr. Weasley had thrown himself at Mr. Malfoy, knocking him backward into a bookshelf. Dozens of heavy spellbooks came thundering down on all their heads; there was a yell of, "Get him, Dad!" from Fred or George; Mrs. Weasley was shrieking, "No, Arthur, no!"; the crowd stampeded backward, knocking more shelves over; "Gentlemen, please - please!" cried the assistant, and then, louder than all 
"Break it up, there, gents, break it up -"
Hagrid was wading toward them through the sea of books. In an instant he had pulled Mr. Weasley and Mr. Malfoy apart. Mr. Weasley had a cut lip and Mr. Malfoy had been hit in the eye by an Encyclopedia of Toadstools. He was still holding Ginny's old Transfiguration book. He thrust it at her, his eyes glittering with malice. 
"Here, girl - take your book - it's the best your father can give you -" Pulling himself out of Hagrid's grip he beckoned to Draco and swept from the shop.
"Lucius. You know it might be the best he can provide for his family. But unlike some, Arthur Weasley does not need to **** his wife to get married or better yet at least he has his manhood still on him and is not a broken bloodied mess." Nova said.
Just as they were about to leave, Lucius Malfoy, stumbled and turned to face whoever had spoken. Seeing that it was Nova, he sneered.
"Be careful of slander, child. You may offend someone you cannot hope to oppose." Lucius sneered and walked off.
"Yeh should've ignored him, Arthur," said Hagrid, almost lifting Mr. Weasley off his feet as he straightened his robes. "Rotten ter the core, the whole family, everyone knows that - no Malfoy's worth listenin' ter - bad blood, that's what it is - come on now - let's get outta here."
The assistant looked as though he wanted to stop them leaving, but he barely came up to Hagrid's waist and seemed to think better of it. They hurried up the street, the Grangers shaking with fright and Mrs. Weasley beside herself with fury.
"A fine example to set for your children . . . brawling in public . . . what Gilderoy Lockhart must've thought -"
"He was pleased," said Fred. "Didn't you hear him as we were leaving? He was asking that bloke from the Daily Prophet if he'd be able to work the fight into his report - said it was all publicity -"
"Umm. . . Nova? Why are you smiling like that?" Hermione asked. Unbeknownst to himself, Nova had a large toothy grin on his face after the incident with the Malfoys. Realizing he was doing so, Nova changed his teeth back to human ones.
"Oh no reason. I was just remembering something that I had forgotten to do over the summer. I do suggest you read the paper in next few days. It will be quite enjoyable. Especially for you Mr. Weasley." Nova said with another smile as his teeth were once again dragon's teeth causing everyone to shiver.

Having eaten a decent lunch, although not as great as Sister Tully's cooking, Aser felt confident once more to explore the academy. Looking at the library in the distance, Aser was tempted to see what new information he could get. He also had the Academy Guidelines book that he still needed to go through, so before doing anything else for now, Aser decided to head into the library. 

The library was located across from the cafeteria building. The building was 4 stories tall, with an open door and marble tiling. Walking past the doors while trying not to bump into the people heading out, Aser saw a grand view that flabbergasted him. Bookshelves upon bookshelves full of books. He couldn't see an end to a single aisle from where he was standing. 

While Aser was standing there like a buffoon, behind the desk near the entrance sat a prim young girl with round spectacles. Janet Rose looked curiously at this obviously new student. She had seen almost everyone during her 3 years working as a library aide, and had never seen this boy. So,  with the assumption he was new, Janet walked up to him to help him out. 

With a smile, Janet went ahead and asked the boy, "Hey, can I do anything to help? I'm guessing this is your first time here?"

Turning around to look at the girl talking to him, Aser replied embarrassed, "Umm hello. Yeah, I just got into the school today for boarding. I was just looking at the all the buildings trying to get familiar with everything."

"Oh, let me give you an introduction then. I'm one of the library aides and also a 4th year student, Janet. The library has four floors, but students only have access to the first two floors. The others are reserved for the teachers and guests of the academy. We have 60 aisles, separated into two rows on the first two floors, and each aisle has about a 100 bookshelves. So that's around 6000 bookshelves worth of materials on each floor. We have books about almost anything you can find, Essence, Cultivation, Demonic Beasts, Skills, Professions, Geography, History, Advanced Theories, System Studies, Explorer Records, Maps, whatever you can think of, you're likely to find in the First Son's Library."

"The library is also open 24/7, and there are private reading rooms near the start and end of each aisle. Most of them are usually taken when the school term starts, but you can book them ahead of time with us. Bookings are done by day and a student can book for at most one semester at a time. You can also borrow books from the library, but there is a very strict 3 day return policy on each book as well as fees if there are any damages to them while borrowed. If it's a very important book, like one where the school only has one copy, you can only read them in the library."

Nodding his head while listening to Janet's explanation, Aser suddenly had an idea. Since he was going to be studying most of the time and has no intention right now to socialize, he thought it would be great to have a fixed room for himself to study in the library. 

"Can I book a study room now?"

Hearing the little boys question, Janet thought of teasing him since he looked so adorable, "Oh? Yeah I can help you rent one. The five biggest study rooms haven't been actually booked yet, but they're very expensive. 50 Silver Notes per day. The others are only 5 Silver Notes per day. Which one do you want?"

Finding out there are different types, Aser was confused why the bigger ones were so much more expensive. Asking her that, he found out exactly why. The bigger study room is less of a study room and more of a place to live! It was big enough to accommodate 10 people studying, had a bed and bookshelf to temporarily keep hold of books they took from the library, and even allowed students to use their entree tickets from the cafeteria to order food in. He felt again what was extravagance. Forget the high prices for food in the cafeteria, a library having what is basically hotel rooms is real extravagance.

Thinking practically as well, Aser knew that there were just too many books and he had a mad desire to finish with all of them as soon as he could. Looking at the bookshelves, he also realized that there were a minimum of a 100 books per bookshelf and so a minimum of 60,000 books on just the first floor! Even if he was able to finish 100 books a day without rest or any other activity, it would still take him two years at the minimum to just go through the first floor! 

He knew that he couldn't finish everything with such a low efficiency and made a note to discuss with Ashes on what he could do to increase his efficiency. 

Seeing the black haired boy thinking with such a pensive expression as if he was getting ready for battle, Janet couldn't help but want to reach out squeeze his pale cheeks. Barely being able to hold back, she suddenly heard a question she didn't know how to answer. 

"Sister Janet, can I book one of the bigger study rooms for a month?"

"What?! A month?! I, I.. I don't know if you can afford it. It's 50 Silver Notes a day, so that's 1 Gold Note every two days, which is 15 Gold Notes a month! Are you sure you want to do that?"

Nodding his small head seriously, "Yes, I know it's a shame I only have enough to book for a month right now otherwise I'd book more time. I already calculated it, can you help me make the booking Sister Janet?"

Listening to his serious reply, Janet knew the boy wasn't joking. What a farce! Even the richest profligate sons wouldn't spend so much on a study room! They would book it for a few days before exams at most! "Okay, if that's what you want.", she replied, leading him to the desk near the entrance and asking him the his information. 

Aser scanned the crystal detector with his Identity Crystal and handed the Crystal Card provided by the bank to let her process his booking. Looking over his information, Janet decided to pay extra attention into his name. Being a student herself and only a library aide, she couldn't get private information such as his evaluation results, but she could see his name. "Aser Scholt huh….", she mumbled to herself. The name seemed familiar to her but she couldn't place it at the time. Thinking back on their conversation, she thought that he was a rich second generation and probably the King of all profligate sons in Shelfield Coast City with how he was spending his money. Deciding to keep her distance from him from now on, she finished registering his information and placing the booking. 

"Room 3 of the A Grade Study Rooms. Just go up the stairs to your right and head left. You'll see the room labeled there easily.", she instructed, handing him his Identity Crystal, Crystal Chip as well as a token for the room. 

"No, that's it for now! Thank you Sister Janet!", Aser gave a shy smile while taking the token and heading out of the library. He still wanted to explore the school grounds for today and start studying later tonight so he didn't mind not going to the study room for now. 

Looking at the boy walking out of the library and not even bothering to check the study room, Janet felt even more hesitant to be in contact with such a person who was given everything. Little did she know that the boy was an orphan and had been living in an orphanage for the past 4 years. Deciding to return to her studies, she heard some of the girls walking in while gossiping, "How do you think Aser Scholt looks like? He must be super cool of he could get a Gold Standard Scholarship. I can't believe the school is increasing so many of our benefits because of him!"

Initially not paying attention to their conversation, Janet suddenly widened her eyes in disbelief when she remembered where she heard the little boy's name. Instantly all of her disdain and hesitant washed away like the tide and she decided to pay a lot more attention to the boy whenever he'd come back.

Beasts had unlocked their System during the Ancient Era, and were once the rulers of the world. A catastrophe had caused them all to go into slumber, ushering in the Venture era where humanity started leaving their settlements to explore. As civilization progressed and tensions rose, humanity fought with themselves for the large swathes of territory. Aser, an Unknown child raised in an orphanage in the Southern Seas. Like others, on his 7th birthday, the system had awakened in his mind, but he realizes he's special. As he explores the mysteries of the System, our protagonist strives to excel, to prove his worth in the world of Gigantis, to find his parents and to figure out the path to Ascension.

"I… I am sorry, I wasn't looking. I am really very sorry.", Mei Qingyang fumbled as she spoke. She had hit her head on something really hard and since she fell down on her butt, she was in pain. She clutched her head with her right hand and tried to open her eyes. She did not even realize that she was sitting down on the floor.

As her eyes adjusted to the light, she saw a well sculpted silhouette. The guy before her was 6 ft. tall. He was looming over her and seemed intimidating. The first thing that she noticed about him though were his deep cold jet-black eyes. When her eyes met with his, she felt like she was being swallowed by an ocean of sorrow. How could one's eyes be hiding so much in them? Yet when one looked at his expressionless face, one could not understand what the guy was thinking.

His features were sharp, a chiseled jaw, smooth pale skin, jet black hair matching his eyes, his aura, everything about him was mesmerizing. She had never seen such a handsome guy in her life. Now she understood what it meant when the girls literally drooled over a guy. Not that it mattered to her, she was not here to gawk at guys, there were bigger things for her at stake. But it still took her some time to come to her senses. She kept staring at him and realized what an awkward thing she was doing.

From his clothes, it was clear that he belonged to the category of those rich students. He was donning all those brands whose stores she could not even dare to enter in the big malls back in her hometown. The only difference she saw was perhaps a lack of accessories. No diamond studded piercings or shoes or jackets or platinum bracelets, nothing like that. But he was carrying this book in his hands which seemed to be some centuries old expensive precious treasure. Oh, that's why he wasn't paying attention to where he was going. 

Suddenly, Mei Qingyang couldn't see him in a good light, after realizing his background. She shuddered at the thought of destroying that book and incurring debt on her first day. That was the last thing she wished for. More than the guy, she was more curious about the well-being of the book now. Who knows if it was one of those books, the one with the only copy in the whole world?

Given the level of monies that went into this school, it wouldn't be unthinkable for the school to have several antique books. Thinking till here, she just wanted to grab the book from the guy's hands and check it out for any damage. All the scolding till now did not seem that bad before the thought of owing huge amount of money to the school.

She had been scolded by three people now and a fourth person would not be a big deal at this point of time. Great Qingyang, today is just not your day, okay? Should have checked for an auspicious time before leaving the home. But as long as that book is okay, I don't care about anything else. She braced herself internally for harsh words again.

"It's fine, no harm done…", the guy seemed taken aback by the collision as well. It took him some time to compose himself. He was staring and observing Mei Qingyang too. And he was amused by how openly this girl was checking him out. He had had girls sneak peaks at him, some even deliberately crossing paths with him again and again. But this girl was some different species or something, staring at him like she would find out his whole history just like that. However, he went back to being expressionless and aloof as soon as he started speaking. 

Wait wait wait. Did he just speak politely with me? Am I dreaming? 

"Here, let me help you.", he stretched out his hand towards her. He was startled by his own behavior. He had absolute haphephobia, phobia of being touched, especially by women. He did not like to talk to women either, although that could not be termed as a fear. He just hated it. But here he was, offering this girl a hand. He hesitated a bit and wanted to withdraw his offer but it was too late. 

And it was not like this girl was a beauty who could enchant the nations and make whole cities fall. By looks, she looked like an average homely girl. Most of the girls in his class could be called better maintained than her. This girl was just plain natural face. Her green almond shaped eyes though, seemed like a mysterious black hole in which one could just keep falling, but they were very clear and shining like a marble as well. She also had this elegance about her that could surpass most of the girls from rich households here. The guy just couldn't help but be courteous to her.

Mei Qingyang noticed his moment of hesitation. As she was still debating if she should take his hand or not since the guy before her seemed to be conflicted about helping her, a disheveled Yu Rong rushed towards them out of nowhere. She looked like she had just come from running a marathon, to be honest more of a devil incarnate. Her hair was all over the place, her make-up didn't look right and her face was red. If that is what a 2-minute run from her office to this place did to her, Mei Qingyang thought she needed to re-calculate her age once again. Unless…. She was working out before coming here.

"What ruckus are you making b*tch? First day and you are giving me so much trouble? How dare you harm him?" Yu Rong was fuming while Mei Qingyang was still sitting on the floor, dumbfounded. She couldn't believe her ears. 

What did I ever do, that she's reacting like that? And I am the one sitting on the floor, okay? Who harmed who? Are you blind? 

She just couldn't make sense of this ridiculous situation. Yu Rong already looked ugly contrary to her appearance in the office, but her words made Mei Qingyang really dislike her.

The starting of her career itself seemed doomed. She should have realized since the time she was stuck in the traffic. Mei Qingyang decided to retaliate. Although she was told to tolerate this lady as much as she could, she just couldn't stand being wronged. Even if she was at fault for running into the guy, the guy also had eyes of his own. He could have given her way or dodged her. Why was he not being scolded? 

And where did Yu Rong come out of anyway? Was she monitoring me or something? People influencing skills, bullsh*t. I can't bother to treat this lady as a person. Heck, why am I still calling her a lady? Since the time I have stepped into this campus, I have been treated like a street animal. I need to teach her a lesson. 

However…

"Aunt….", the guy interrupted and tried to calm Yu Rong down. He tried to put a distance between Yu Rong and her, slightly stepping in front of her. Mei Qingyang could sense a tint of fear and hatred in his eyes. Yu Rong's eyes widened in shock, seeing him being protective of a girl he had met for the first time.

Wait a minute, did he just say aunt?

What happens when two cold as ice people cross paths? Do they form Antarctica around them or do they melt each other's hearts? What made them like this in the first place? What secrets are hiding in their past lives?

She took his right hand in hers and delicately wiped the blood from his wound. "You should understand one thing here, it was not your fault. There is no way my feelings will change for you after this. You are mine and will always be."

"That's my girl.", he beamed from ear to ear and kissed her forehead in his elation.

Magic was a rigorous subject, anything that was written in the books, meant that it had been experimentally proven countless times before.
Why was this so important?
For a simple reason—any mistakes made in spellcasting could trigger serious accidents. This was a matter of life or death, and those Magicians who were not scrupulous enough in their experiments would be automatically eliminated by the accidents they caused.
Link set aside his wishes to modify and improve spells and started to attentively read the magic textbooks, absorbing the wisdom and knowledge passed down by his precedents.
As he read, he was deeply engrossed by it. He even forgot about his thesis.
There were 63 magic textbooks in his pendant, all of them about the foundation knowledge of magic.
The facts recorded in these textbooks were approved by all Magicians and had been proven true by hundreds and thousands of experiments. So even if the knowledge level was basic, it was the accumulation of knowledge and wisdom from over the years. Some even paid for it with by their lives!
Link read closely, and his extraordinary memory recorded each detail into his mind. His newly obtained intellectual power had also made him understand the philosophies in the books easily.
He had even forgotten to sleep and neglected to eat!
After two weeks, Link had gotten considerably thin from eating just three pieces of coarse wheat bread a day. His eyes had sunken into his face, and his figure was gaunt. But his pair of black eyes now looked like a still lake, serene in its depth, filled with wisdom.
In these two weeks, Eliard had written two letters to him, telling him of his progress in the academy. Eliard had truly impressive talents. In just a short period of time, he had mastered one Level-0 spell and was even accepted by a Level-5 Mage tutor called Moira as her protégé.
The moment Link read that he grumbled. "Moira – that sounds like a woman's name. What a blessing it is to be born so handsome!"
But Eliard was fitting in nicely in the academy, and that was a good thing.
Link, on the other hand, would tell Eliard of interesting news from the River Cove town. He always made sure to write in cheerful tones—not once did he reveal any hardships he was facing. He would also include questions he had about magic in the letters to Eliard, hoping that he could help him with them.
Of course, Link didn't actually expect Eliard to answer them himself. Didn't that lucky bastard have a tutor to help him?
Eliard's guilt and anxiety were greatly relieved each time he received Link's letters. While he was settling down in the academy, he constantly worried about Link, and would be awaiting news from him with concern and trepidation. But now that he knew Link wasn't doing so bad, Eliard felt much better.
As for the questions that Link posed in the letters, he didn't understand much of them, still, he was willing to do anything to help Link. In truth, any opportunity to help Link made him feel gratified.
So he took the questions to his tutor, Moira.
Moira had been taking special care of Eliard. She would answer every question that he asked her. Eliard was not oblivious to the special perks he was receiving.
Eliard would then copy down Moira's answers to the questions in his letters to Link.
This way, it was as if Link also had a Level-5 Magician mentoring him as he was studying. This kind of communication was a big part of why Link could finish reading 63 basic textbooks in two weeks.
Gently flipping the last page of the last magic textbook he read—The Way of the Magician—there was the name of the author on the book, Bryant, a Master Magician from three hundred years ago. He was the only human to ever become a Legendary Magician.
"My successors, we cross the barrier of time and communicate through words, and these are my words—remember, magic can give you anything, including eternal life. Forge on ahead down this path, keep moving forward, and maybe one day we will meet."
The message seemed to have a hidden meaning, but Bryant had been dead for three hundred years. The whole of nobility in the Norton Kingdom had attended his funeral. There were clear records of it in the historical documents— there was no cause to doubt the authenticity of those documents.
So Link just took the message as a dead man's witticism and didn't think more of it.
Gently he placed The Way of the Magician together with all the books he had read.
Not only did he finish reading them, he had also remembered every detail and understood and digested each piece of information.
Right now, Link was no longer a complete novice in magic, nor was he the underachieving student of the Flemmings Lower Magic Academy. He had now truly grasped the essential knowledge that is the foundation of magic.
And so, it was time for Link to revisit the idea of modifying the Fireball spell's structure. He now had many fresh ideas to commence from.
He took out his New Moon wand then closed his eyes and concentrated. The insights he achieved after two weeks of study swiftly emerged in his mind.
These insights then merged with his knowledge of spell structure of Fireball, and like pouring hot oil to the fire, an explosion of inspiration and ideas resulted.
Five minutes later, because of Link's amazing imaginative power, a novel spell structure was fully formed in his mind.
Then, Link opened his eyes.
And in that instant, the pair of eyes which had been dulled by Ailing Mana came back to life. He reached out his hand holding the wand, and Mana flowed into it. Runes on the wand lit up one by one before finally, the new moon at the tip of the wand glowed too.
In the air right in front of the wand, a speck of light appeared. When observed carefully, the fire elements in the speck were actually rotating at a high speed, but it wasn't an ordinary type of rotation at all. It was an internal rotation, with the structure of a whirlpool.
It was as if in the heart of the light speck there was a black hole that sucked in fire elements from its surroundings, and the rotation of the fire element was a way to maintain the stability of the structure.
A second later, the speck of light expanded to the size of a glass marble—the usual scale of a normal fireball.
But there was a difference. The fireballs that Link used to produce were white, and waves surrounded it, emitting a misty light. But this one had a blue core, its surface was very smooth, and no heat streamed out of the surface. It looked exactly like a glass marble.
The spell was completed!
Link opened the attic window. Outside, sunlight shone brilliantly. He took aim at a rubber tree about 100 feet away. Then he pointed the wand at the tree's direction, and instantly the fireball shot out.
Bang! There was an explosion, and the fireball flew through the air and hit the tree trunk accurately. Wood pieces scattered in all directions and a teacup-sized hole appeared on the trunk.
For normal Fireballs, the distance they crossed was no more than 60 feet. Even if the Fireball was boosted by a superior wand, the impact would not have been any more than that of a large firecracker, at most skinning off the outer bark of the tree.
This unique Fireball from Link was absolutely beyond the strength of a normal Fireball, not just in the distance it traveled, but also in its destructive power.
The greatest distance it could travel should be around 200 feet, and its power could probably rival a Level-1 Fireball. If I used the Fire Crystal staff the power and distance may increase a little. The Mana consumption is low as well, so even in my condition, I could release 24 of these consecutively. But the spellcasting time has increased considerably, that's its only downside.
Link could cast normal Fireballs in as little as 0.05 seconds with the aid of the gaming system. But now that the modified Fireball had more complicated structures, and also because it wasn't stabilized yet, Link had to use more effort to maintain its form. He needed eight seconds the first time he cast the spell.
Never mind that. With practice, I'm sure I can do it faster.
The moment he set his mind to something, he jumped into it immediately. He started to practice the modified Fireball just as he practiced the normal Fireball before. He gathered the elements at the tip of the wand and then absorbed his Mana back without releasing it.
He kept on practicing and applied all of his concentration into it.
Half a day had gone by, and the results were outstanding.
Link waved his wand gently, and instantly a blue glass fireball would appear at the tip of the wand. Then, as he lifted the wand, the fireball disappeared. He then waved the wand again, and the fireball appeared. He raised it, and it disappeared once more.
It happened so quickly that no one would be able to believe it. He was able to do it as fast as he would with the normal Fireball spell.
But Link knew that in truth it was still slower, even though it was only by a slight margin.
If the normal Fireball spell took 0.05 seconds, then the fastest limit for the modified version should be around 0.07 seconds.
The more complicated the spell's structure, the more time it took to construct it, and so the more time it took to cast the spell. This was a simple universal pLinkiple.
However, for this modified version of Fireball, the spellcasting speed might be slightly slower at 0.07 seconds, but the accumulated energy rivaled that of a Level-1 spell (the difference in scale was almost incomparable). It was also effective from an impressive distance of about 200 feet, yet the Mana consumption was equal to that of just one normal Fireball. This was indeed a terrifying spell!
Spellcasting speed could still be decreased. I'll practice a little more.
Even decreasing the spellcasting speed by a little bit was still valuable because it could massively influence the outcome of a battle. Therefore, Link would not settle and pushed himself very hard to improve his speed as much as he could.
So he continued to practice.
Link spent the next three hours modifying the Fireball spell. He practiced it until he couldn't feel any more progress, until he'd reached the limit. Link then noticed a notification activated in the interface.
He checked it and found that it was an announcement from the gaming system.
Player has successfully modified Level-0 Fireball. Please name the new spell.
Link chuckled, visibly amused and excited that he had the power to name new spells. He thought of the solid and vitreous appearance of the modified Fireball, so he said, "Call it Glass Orb then. Link's Glass Orbs, haha."
Spell named "Glass Orb".
Player successfully modified a Level-0 spell, 1 Omni point rewarded.
Ha, I even get Omni point rewards from this, not bad at all. Link was even more motivated now.
He now had 106 Omni Points. But because he was still under the influence of Ailing Mana, even if he spent all of his points to increase his Maximum Mana, he could only get to 106 Maximum Mana points. Only three months later would things recover. He didn't need a lot of Mana now, though, so he decided to reserve these Omni Points for later use.
Each point was like a card under his sleeve, so he thought it was wiser to have as many Omni Points on hand as possible.
After he finished reading the magic textbooks and successfully modified Fireball, Link's mind finally went back to his thesis.
This time, because he received lots of new ideas from the textbooks, he resumed his work on the law of universal gravitation. It developed very quickly, until the deduction process had gone too deep that the law devolved into something completely unrecognizable.
In the end, he couldn't even comprehend the conclusions that his own deductions had brought him to.
But this time, Link's deduction ended much quicker than expected, not because there were no more ideas, but instead because he had run out of goatskin papers. The ink was used up as well. It was time for him to restock his stationeries.
He fumbled at his money pouch, then felt embarrassed of his own situation. He had very little money left—only about three silver coins.
"I need to earn some money."
His pouch was almost empty. If he didn't go out and earn some money now, he might need to resort to begging in the streets soon.


Link was the top Archmage in the entire server. He had just defeated the strongest boss, the Lord of The Deep, Nozama with his party. However, instead of going back to town, he was transported to a secret location with pixelated CG. 

It sort of felt like a vacuum, and within it came a glorious and commanding voice that calls himself the God of Light. 

"Link, would you be willing to be the saviour who will pull the World of Firuman out from the churning abyss?"

What a huge mission! If it was in the real world, Link would have rejected it immediately. However, he was bent on being the hero in game.

"Bring it on!" Link answered confidently.

"Then, best of luck." 

And so begin Link's journey of magic, friendship, betrayal, love and despair in the ever changing World of Firuman.

It's funny how someone who have no scant of energy in him causally beat up someone who can basically destroy a castle single handedly making her twitch in the ground pathetically but the thing that the instructor is holding is what got all of my total attention.

Different from the wooden bat it is made of some sort of metal with the same color of silver. It's presence alone is countless times bigger than the wooden bat and it's 'lethality' can be easily seen how it trashed someone who's mental strength should be higher than the average person. Yet the thing that bothered me is what Lancer said accidentally when he observed it.

'A soul huh…' I secretly thought of that. If a weapon of that caliber has a soul, it can be considered an ego weapon if my knowledge about sword's and magic novels can be referenced. Ignoring the benefit of a soul that can observe and understand all of the wielders it can learn from, that means that 'thing' can be conversed with or let you have some sort of contract with.

Hm? I noticed that they started talking and the instructor started 'asking' some sensitive information from the woman, while repeatedly bashing her with 2 metal batons that is actually one that separated like someone who's fusion was over. The woman is already down with the look of someone that is repeatedly v*olated and had voluntarily gave out some information.

Aside from the confession that no. 1 and no. 17 are nobles which I had some suspicion knowing their strange amount of skills and knowledge but to think the Empire and the evil organization collaborated to catch the instructor personally…

"No. 9–…" but to think the Royal Guards and the Dark Swords themselves got together to catch one man… Ignoring the royal guards that protects the royal family, the Dark Swords are only mobilized if a traitor of the organization is found and must be executed…

"No. 95–…" I heard that one senior of ours is also the captain of the Dark Swords and he was a half-beastkin apparently and to think they did not catch the instructor and only left him breathless…

"NO. 950!" Snapping from my stupor I noticed the countless gazes directed on me. Flinching, I tilted my head in confusion till I heard the instructor's voice.

"No. 950 as I said do you know Gradation Air?" The instructor asked me. Nodding in confirmation I looked at the instructor who asked that question. To be honest the only magecraft that I can skillfully use currently aside from Runes and Bounded Fields which I had at most rudimentary knowledge is Reinforcment, Structural Grasp and Gradation Air (which I strangely wanted to master due to being a fan of a certain guy…). Nodding at my answer the instructor said something unexpected.

"I have a mission for you… assist in escaping Howling and the Empire's operatives and I would let you use Structural Grasp on this two." He said pointing at the wooden bat and the thing he is holding that had already returned into one. Oh she had a blank state with empty eyes, I looked at the lying Sword Star but suddenly remembered the instructor's words.

"Eh..?" Frozen I looked repeatedly at the two demonic weapons and finally looked at the instructor with a gaze as if imploring for confirmation. When I saw him nod all I can do is…

"Ku..Ku…KUHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!!! TO THINK YOU WOULD GAVE ME THIS WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY!!! INCREDIBLE!! THIS IS SO INCREDIBLE!!! I WILL ACCEPT THOSE PAIN AND SUFFERING I FELT THIS WHOLE DAMN TIME IF I WILL HAVE THIS OPPORTUNITY HAHAHAHA!!!" I laughed madly and approached our senior who took a step-back in fear.

"Ahh… he is already lost…" Ignoring the comment Yamada said I took hold at the wooden bat out of his hands. Holding this demonic weapon, I noticed how it strangely felt natural in holding it akin to how you hold someone else perfect pair.

Closing my eyes, I started my magical energy to do its thing. Remembering the 7 steps, a certain Emiya f*ing Shirou and his future counter-part do in their special way of Projection. Starting my Structural Grasp, I let my magical energy enter the wooden bat and following the instructor's instructions I bypassed some security measures he along the fellow manufacturers who made the thing.

'A branch from the World Tree!?' I was shocked at the information I got from understanding it's composition, I remembered my elven teacher's bow and her staff had a slightly similar composition from this thing and I finally understand why my teacher was so strong at the same time hid some parts of her name.

After I understand it completely from top to bottom, I started my preparations.

'I don't have the Unlimited Blade Works Reality Marble nor a specialized origin and elemental affinity but I think my Reality Marble can handle some steps.' I thought and channeled magical energy connecting my Reality Marble to the outside world slightly. I do not know why I can analyze objects that would surely not be from my 'Earth' but I can only put it in the reasoning of being sent to another world or being connected to the Root either by being a 'Magus from the Age of the Gods (hypothetically)' or the Kaleidoscope from Sapphire and Ruby. 

Following the steps, I can strangely remember clearly I started 'Tracing'.

First, Judging the concept of creation. I already know the main idea why this 'thing' is made, beating up other people without killing them alongside the 'original' design it is molded from. A wooden baseball bat.

Second, Hypothesizing the basic structure. With Structural Grasp I understood it's composition and even the materials used and the enchantments put in it.

Third, Duplicating the composition materials. If Lancer can temporarily reshape my Reality Marble for a bit, I as the owner can re-create materials from my Reality Marble or make some passable substitutes.

Fourth, Imitating the skill of its making. I can smell the breath and sweat of dwarves from the bat and the mana signatures with some similarities to my teacher Liliana, remembering and using the skills thought and used by my blacksmithing teacher Rangka I got the gist of how it's made.

Fifth, Sympathizing with the experience of its growth. Understanding the time of existence, the bat 'lived' in this world I emulated its feelings which I can strangely feel from it alongside the boundless natural energy this thing secretly contains alongside its experience hitting people which made me felt like peeking into another door. (A/N: Don't peek you idiot!)

Sixth, Reproducing the accumulated years. Feeling the strangely short history the bat holds, I understood that it is made just a few years ago but the Mystery of its main component which is a branch of a tree that may had lived for centuries put me in a sense of incongruity for a bit.

Seventh, Excelling every manufacturing process. I can't say that I am skilled in crafting things but as long as this thing is not a divine construct made by the gods (I felt I can make those divine constructs in the future but let's not bother with that…), I can re-create and even fix some minor error's the makers made.

Lastly, I tweaked the size of the 'final product' due to the fact I currently have the body structure of someone who did not hit puberty.

"Trace… on."

With blue lightning (magical energy) emerging from my open palm it quickly formed into a wooden bat. Feeling the completed Projection, I laughed madly and looked at the metal bat with greed showing in my pale and sweaty face.

1.) I'll try to make the character and world building slow yet solid for a more balanced progressive time but will have enough gap and chapter size that will not have the readers feel bored or leave a bad after taste afterwards.(There would be sudden spikes of the author's crazyness but they will be only in short intervals)
2.) I'll make the characters suffer a bit but will leave some holes in their trials and problems they can dig in to without making them become more arrogant and being idiotic and have some deux ex machina prepared somewhere but I won't say it let the readers discover them NYAHAHA~!!
3.) As much as the request for romance and such I won't get to length much about it if it's harem or a perfect couple going on but I'll say this I will try to occupy the reader's taste but still remember the end result may not be much of what you like because your not the only reader the poor and lonely author is gonna try to feed and the builder of the ships is only one man and you guys were the once that will try to steer them anyway~.
4.) She could see her brother's back. He had promised her they would play together today. Father had told her several times to not disturb her eldest brother, because he had responsibilities, but her other brothers and sisters weren't as much fun as Vlad. He was the nicest to her! When he heard her, he turned around. He had a lean figure, short and messy ash-black hair, and the same pale, ice blue eyes than her. He came back to her, squatted to be on eye-level with her and patted her head.

"I'm sorry, Lin. Father asked me to go hunting with the Erkans' son. Connections, you know?"

"But you promised!"

"I know. Be a good girl, please? Stay here quietly, learn your books. If you can recite me by heart the holy texts in a week, I'll give you a reward and we'll spend a whole day together! How's that?"

"But I know the holy texts already! I memorized them long ago!"

"The morals then?"
"… Okay, I'll wait for you."

She watched him leaving. She loved him so, so much. He was the only one truly taking care of her. She'd wait for a lifetime if she had to!

She looked at Anna, and the copy of the sacred texts in her hand. Her sister was six years old, only one year younger than her, but she still struggled with the simplest passages of the most crucial and holy book. She truly lacked the talent to be a Keeper, which made their parents worry sick about her. Lin sighted.

"Anna… Look around us. Do you know how many books there are here? Hundreds? Thousands? How can you hope to memorize them all by the age of fifteen if you can't even remember one book by the age of six? Can you even call yourself a member of the Neith family?"

She had pushed it a bit too far, she knew it. She realized it the second she saw the tears in Anna's eyes. Indeed, granny was quick to reprimand her.
"Lin, that's quite enough, don't you think?"

Maria giggled and tried to comfort her youngest sister. "Come here, Anna. Vlad and Lin are the most talented among us, but you don't see many friends around them, do you? It's okay to be a bit slower, as long as you do your best. Now, read us the extract you're working on, we might be able to help you a bit."

Happy to get the attention she sought, Anna dried her tears and joyfully began to read out loud. 

[Sofiia then founded the water clan. They built wooden houses between the water courses. All the trees were used by the clan members to build homes and to make books. They wanted to know, understand and remember the world around them. They were calm, soft, composed and faithful people who never acted rashly and always adapted themselves to the situation at hand. They valued family and knowledge more than anything else. Kmir blessed them and they became His children.]

[Aldir then founded the wind clan. They never built houses and kept walking. They took all the stones in the land to build wells, so that they could stop and drink wherever they wanted. They believed that no one but themselves could tell them what to do and how to do it. They were pragmatic, resolute, independent and proud people who always respected everyone's opinion and valued people by merit more than birth. They valued freedom more than anything else as well as material power. Kmir blessed them and they became His children.]

[Electra then founded the thunder clan. They built houses of woods and cords on the peak of the highest trees deep in the jungle. They lived in small communities, needing their peace and quiet. They were calm, quick-witted, reasonable and fair people who would never mingle in other people's problems in order to avoid conflict. They valued both solitude and solidarity, both action and carefulness. Kmir blessed them and they became His children.]

[Theor then founded the earth clan. They built solid stone houses in the dry hills and the rock desert. Their homes were simple, as they wanted to focus on what was most important to them. They were strong, stubborn, thorough and righteous people who always respected tradition and had a great sense of justice. They valued honor and glory, as they had a strict bond to their principles. Kmir blessed them and they became His children.]

[Myr then founded the fire clan. They built houses of wood and clay high in the flourishing mountains and down in the fertile valleys. Their villages were full of dances and songs, praises to their God. They were impulsive, passionate, creative and sensitive people. They valued loyalty above anything else in this world, and believed that there is always light somewhere, however dark the sky might appear. Kmir blessed them and they became His children.]

[Nolx then founded the void clan. They built havens of marble in the black swamps. They believed that good was no better than evil, but that balance was life's true answer. They were wise, sensible, solitary and detached people who attached more importance to spirituality than mortal power. They valued balance and harmony more than anything else as well as art and magic. Kmir blessed them and they became His children.]

[Then, all that remained were the burning, unholy grounds between the clans. Kmir spoke. "I shall live these lands as a living hell. May it be a reminder of the Chaos and of this War. It is the land of the unfaithful ones, those that do not deserve my love."]

Maria's smile froze. The foundation of the clans. One the most important and easiest to learn part of the holy texts. If she had known Anna was still stuck over that… 

The door went flying. Granny suddenly got up and yelled something Lin didn't understand, as she went to hide, instinctively, unable to process what was happening. She only knew that she had never been so afraid in her life. She heard a scream, and the sound of someone falling to the ground. 

She heard Maria and Anna's shouts, then they suddenly stopped. Everything became red. She felt a stabbing pain in her chest, and the red turned black.

When she woke, she had no idea how much time had passed. The pain was gone, everything was blurry. She had never felt so lightheaded. She wanted to call granny her sisters, she wanted to apologize to Anna, but her voice didn't obey her. Nothing seemed real. She couldn't even feel her body, so it had to be a dream, right? 

Hours passed, then days. Or maybe it was just a few minutes, who knew. She heard some footsteps. She would have panicked if she wasn't so, so tired. She wanted to forget everything. Then, a familiar voice echoed in her head.

"So you're alive, thank Kmir…"

Vlad. It must be him. If he was there, everything would be alright. He found solutions to any problem. He would know what to do. She smiled, reassured. She could allow herself to fall back asleep, now. He would handle everything. 

The man holding her furrowed his brows, adding wrinkles to his old face. She had lost so much blood. It had been decades since he had last used his healing skills; he couldn't be less confident in his abilities, but he had no choice. He had to try, or he would lose her. 

He carefully examined her injuries and sighted in relief.

"They missed the heart by an inch. If I can close the wound and help you recover some blood, it will be enough to save your life."

The man got rid of his bloodied gloves and began the healing. He might only be the butler of this family, but he had seen this girl grow, and the fondness he held was no different than what he would have felt for his own granddaughter. He desperately put all his might in the operation, until he was able to say her life was no longer in danger. 

When he saw she was starting to open her eyes, he didn't leave her the time to adjust to her surroundings. They couldn't afford to. 
"You're safe for now. We must leave. The guards led them elsewhere, but they won't… The slaughterers will come back, they'll surely burn everything. You're… You're the last one left. You can't stay in the water clan."

They were all children, they all saw their dreams and hopes blown to pieces by the cruelty of the world. They all became adults,  the pride of different clans, seeking different purposes, holding different beliefs. Somehow, their paths were destined to meet. Some entangle themselves in the struggles of politics, some have their blood boiling with their desire for revenge. In the end, what will be the price of people's madness, and who will be able to afford it?

The negotiation process went smoothly, although there were some issues that had arisen as well.
The part that went smoothly was that, just as the mission executioners had expected, the crab people had no objections to the idea of relocating to another stellar system, and neither did they create any drama about the matter.
Clearly, whatever they had seen in the movies belonged in the movies. In reality, when there was already an obviously huge difference in the powers of both parties, any rational being would easily give in to the stronger party as long as the demands of the stronger party were not too unreasonable. 
In this case, from the crab people's perspective, the first part of the other party's demands was not unreasonable at all, but had actually met a pressing need of their own instead. 
The problem was found mainly in the other part.
"Dear respected humans, can you please give us some further clarification on what this technology transfer is all about? What is this notion of magical energy points? What does this two trillion mean?"
Faced with these unexpected questions from the astronauts, the twelve mission executioners started to communicate through telepathy. 
"Ah, I keep feeling like we shouldn't transfer these technologies to them, and should just let them relocate instead. If they got their hands on these, they might turn into another one of our competitors in the future."
"Hehe, your thoughts are based on the belief that we have already monopolized the Vitality Transformation Technique and the Nine Transformation Technique, but in reality, we already have the Andromeda Galaxy which is destined to be our enemy in the future. Meanwhile, these other rational and intelligent beings in the Milky Way can actually be a potential ally to us. If those from the Andromeda Galaxy ever bring the fight to this place, and if this planet is stuck in their Era of Technology, it'll be the same as us opening a door for the enemy to enter. These crab people, who are incapable of defending themselves, might soon end up becoming vitality slaves to the other party, turning into a source of power supply for them instead. 
"On the other hand, if we transfer our vitality-related technologies to them, even though they may become our competitor, at least they won't be occupied by the enemy so quickly, which can then buy us some time. At the end of the day, we're people who place emphasis on justice and equity, so it's possible for us to coexist peacefully with them. However, between them and those migrants, those two civilizations will never be able to get along well with each other." 
After weighing the pros and cons, the rest of them reluctantly accepted this line of reasoning.
Fang Ning heard the conversation between the mission executioners through the Heavenly Book baby, and noticed a slight problem right away. 
After giving it some thought, he asked Sir System, "Can you make some adjustments to your Nine Transformation Technique?"
"It's already very perfect. Why would I need to adjust it?" Sir System grumbled. Clearly, it had not gotten over its previous losses just yet.
"I meant the version used for foreign trading. The best thing we can do is to combine it with the Morality Technique. The purchased version of the technique, which are the parts after the seventh transformation, should also be combined with the Morality Technique," Fang Ning said.
"What do you mean? I don't understand. You know I've always been a slow-thinking system," Sir System said, utterly confused.
"Not to this extent." Fang Ning was at a loss for words. Then, he put it as plainly as he could. "Basically, I'm saying that it'll be best if this technique of yours contains some kind of moral guidance, so that only those with Morality can cultivate this technique and slowly master it."
"Can the Morality of humans and the crab people be the same?" Sir System questioned. 
"Of course. The similarity lies in the fact that they don't use their power to bully others. Among other intelligent and rational beings, they're open to reasoning and have self-control. Just like the Whitestone people's case, it'll be sufficient for us to apply this standard to the crab people," Fang Ning explained.
"What you said isn't really true of human nature though. Don't humans just love to bully those weaker than themselves? When they're able to use violence to solve something, they'll never use reason," Sir System scorned.
"That's why there's a lack of humans with Morality, and why we should support and cultivate more of them," Fang Ning sighed. "What makes humans human is that they're able to rise above their animalistic instincts, and use their rationality and wisdom to control their own behavior."
"Argh, where is this saintliness of yours coming from?" Sir System taunted. "What you said is very true, yet you're only thinking of playing games and having fun all the time. You try combining them together then. Do you know how hard it is to fuse two entirely different techniques like these?" 
"..." Fang Ning was so upset that he was left speechless. With great anger, he said, "If you won't do it, then I will. I also have these two technique books anyway."
"Go ahead then. If you're really capable of doing it, then don't think of getting any external help." Sir System quickly shut off the loophole.
Fang Ning was planning to release this as a mission, but now that Sir System had cut off that option, he could only stalk back to the Cyber Cafe and open two bulky books, namely the "Atmospheric Morality Technique" and the "Nine Transformation Golden Core Technique".　
He had to figure out a way to prove Sir System wrong and show that he was also capable of theorizing cultivation techniques!
Nonetheless, before theorizing, he quickly gave an instruction to the Heavenly Book baby first. "Inform those people that they can start making preparations for the relocation first. As for the technology transfer, we can talk about more after I've theorized the new Nine Transformation Technique."
"Understood, Master," his Heavenly Book baby said sympathetically. "Shall I help you theorize it?"
"No, it's fine. I don't believe it. With my high IQ and rich cultivation experience, how can it be possible that I can't even theorize a new technique?" Fang Ning said through gritted teeth.
Nine days later, a new technique book that was three times thicker than the first two books combined was finally completed.
This was the foreign trade version of the Nine Transformation Golden Core Technique. There were seven huge words written on its cover — The Nine Transformation Morality Golden Core Technique.
"Don't you think it's too troublesome to have such a thick technique book?" Sir System remarked disdainfully.
"Who cares? I won't be the one memorizing it anyway…" Fang Ning said indifferently. "At least it contains all the necessary functions now."
"Aren't you afraid that there'll be any problems with it?"
"This will have to be judged by you, Sir System," Fang Ning pleaded.
"It's too much work. Do it yourself," Sir System refused immediately.
"Well, in that case, if those crab people fail to learn it in the future, your remuneration will be gone as well," Fang Ning pointed out at once.
"Damn it. Fine, I'll take a look at it."
"After some time, Sir System said in amazement, "While this technique of yours is indeed burdensome, they really must have at least a trace of Morality in them to be able to cultivate it. Mr. Rich Boss, I'm seeing you in a different light again this time. How did you manage to do it?"
"Hahaha, by copy-pasting them before adding a bit of explanation?" Fang Ning said proudly.
"You're really shameless," Sir System muttered.
"I was just joking. How can it be that simple?" Fang Ning said. "Can't you see that my hairline is receding again?"
"No, you've already transformed into the form of a dragon. How is it possible for you to lose your hair? I'll never allow that to happen anyway. A dragon's hair is too valuable," Sir System said seriously.
Fang Ning decided to ignore this second-rate good that knew no humor, and immediately sent this thicker foreign trade version of the technique to his Heavenly Book baby, making this book the technology to be transferred by the mission executioners.
Meanwhile, in the course of these nine days, both parties had demonstrated very high efficiency with the preparation work, and were already in agreement on many details. The only thing left was for the humans from Earth to carry out the technology transfer.
Within these nine days, Sir System had also found another habitable planet with similar weather, temperature and gravity conditions to the crab people's Mother Planet, and had already built a portal on the planet.
Once the other party had checked and accepted the Nine Transformation Morality Golden Core Technique, the relocation could begin straight away.
Compared to humans, these crab people were more experienced in terms of interstellar colonization, for at least they had actually colonized another foreign planet before.
As the last of the crab people went through the portal, he turned back for a final glance.

"That day, the claw in the skies above the Malevolent Planet became larger and caught hold of the entire Malevolent Planet in the same way our children play marbles. Then, it threw the planet far, far away.
"At this moment, I was very grateful that our decision-makers were not like the fools in the movies. Otherwise, we would've been like a marble, or a piece of garbage, tossed away to a corner of the universe.
"These mighty humans from Earth are very powerful indeed. If it were our civilization, we might have to achieve a god-like technological level in order to have such powers.
"Farewell, dear Mother Planet."


Procrastinator extraordinaire, Fang Ning, had lost his consciousness after banging his head on a night of celebration. Zaros is my name. Though it feels unfamiliar for you still my name is Zaros.

After I said my name they said they heard my name somewhere. Somewhere in the books that they have been reading to educate themselves. They asked my name so I too asked all their names.

They gave their names, the tall guy is Eros, the average height guy is Azorius, the blond hair girl is Freya and the white bob hair girl is Lana. I don't know why but the names sound familiar except the name Freya but she looks familiar. 

Why do these names feel familiar? hmmm...

Anyways, Eros was very powerful enough to kill all those creatures but he did not kill them because he said "I need to bring the others to safety first if I stop then there is a chance those creatures would have got you" he thought about my safety because I was the one running closer to those creatures the other were ahead of me.

Azorius was not very powerful but he was smart and had two amazing titanium swords.

Freya and Lana were wizards of the pack they were the ones who could heal any kind of wound and destroy any powerful crystal. These two girls were not very good with physical strength.

But if you combine all of them excluding me from the crew they were already unstoppable.

They looked like god-like characters so I wanted to name them so, I asked for their permission for the name. They gave me the full rights to name their group so, I named them "Marble Foxes". They heard the name and were very proud of that name.

I was happy that they liked the name.

They asked me about where I came from? but I did not know that myself so, I replied to them that I have amnesia and don't remember how I came there. 

I only knew that I was sleeping there for quite a long time for no reason.

Eros told me that he will take me to their house. I asked about how did they build a house in this environment. Freya and Lana answered they were the ones who created some elements in order to build that house. 

They asked me to visit their house so, what else would I say? I replied to them that ill go with them

After I massacred all those beasts there was something inside me changed, a very strong feeling was coming out of me. I don't know how to express those feelings. I don't understand why, or even I don't know why I did that but all the feelings inside me rushed out that I kneeled on my knees, revealed my unease and unconcealed my disease. I cried till those feelings went away with ease.

While I was crying it was like the world was healing, when I was crying, my tear droplets, when dropped on the ground, would transform into a beautiful flower.

Marble Foxes tried to clam me down and they were also unhappy seeing me crying.

But it is feeling so good to cry and to let out all these bad feelings. Anger, regret, happiness, darkness and other emotionless feelings meant nothing when I was crying out loud while I was on my knees. The Marble Foxes asked me, again and again, why was I crying? I still don't understand why I was crying but I surely was healing.

I stopped crying after some time.

They did not ask me about anything, we all started walking to their house. They cheered me up while walking I felt happy. The situation was in control. Everyone was feeling good. The small journey was successful. We all arrived at the house that they were talking about.

That house was looking too much familiar. It was as if I was living there no so long ago. I was feeling like my own house.

"MYSTERIOUS HOUSE"

"I was here, you were there and history repeated here"

Aah!!! what are these memories? why is it so painful? For a glimpse, I saw something someone killed Eros, Azorius and Lana. Freya was badly wounded. Was it a memory or a warning or a "nightmare".

Marble Foxes asked me what happened.

What should I have said? No, I cannot say that they will be killed in that house. So, I said that nothing happened and said I just remembered some nightmare. That nightmare was that I saw a dragon girl killed by a Cerberus. I don't know how I remember that but I just blurted out somethings I didn't know.

Freya was feeling bad because of that nightmare and she tried to ease me down.

After that whole melodrama boring situation we went to the house at last! the house itself is well maintained. It was looking more like a mansion. It looks like a rich man's house. Oh? have I said that before? feels like Deja vu.

They showed me around the house. At first, I saw an illusion room which was very freaky. Next, I saw a maze room it was looking cool so I went ahead and solved it. Next, I saw the Library.

I stopped at the library and asked them if I could read there for an hour or so. I said that because this was the place that they were all massacred. They will get massacred here someday. I need to think of a way to protect them somehow. I'll read some books in this library then ill see what all methods I can get from those books or what knowledge ill get from these books to protect the Marble foxes.

I read every book in the library, I learnt a lot but I didn't find a way to protect the Marble Foxes. I was bored so I dozed off for a while.

When I woke up I was holding the time sword which had blood on it, I looked around and I saw that Eros, Azorius and Lana were dead and Freya was wounded badly that she couldn't even walk, she was crawling with sadness. How did this happen!?

I killed the Marble Foxes without knowing what I was doing. How could I have done this?

With continuous tears on my face, I carried Freya to the couch that I was sleeping on and asked her about what happened and how did I do this?. She was a little happy and also a little scared and said: "Did you come to your senses?".

"Me coming to senses?" I asked her

she said she knew my story and she forgot about me when she first saw me. She said she saw a vision of the legend in the world who was named "Zaros" and she said that Zaros was the game-changing hero of the world.

When I tried to ask her about why I did all this she told "Your Mind is broken, Your character is getting distorted and you have been living in the virtual world for too long, you need to adapt to the real world" after saying that she fainted. I used some gem that she had, to cure her wound that she had and yes! she got cured.

She needs some time to get up from all that murderous incident and need some time to recover from what I have done to her. I realised one thing when she told me about "distorted characters".

I realised that I have Multiple Characters inside my mind and have that Disorder. 

A story of a brave swordsman who was forcibly thrown and abandoned into another human-less world and a human-less sword dimension where everything in that world works with sword power. He was made into an unknown human-like life form and trying to reclaim humanity in another world where there are no humans left. Slaying these monsters every day, day and night trying to find his human-like species and to find the truth about his life form. Whether he is still a human or he is something else is decided on his fate and the journey he takes. Will he live that long in that dimension or will he find out the truth or will he leave a legacy behind? Everything depends on becoming a sword hero in a sword dimension
