Birdy: Nice, but I barely could find any worms to feed my children.


(Kanisha's eyes glow, then a ball of worms appear)


Birdy (smiles at the worm, then looks at Kanisha): Such a nice girl.

(Then screen switches to the bird flying, while holding a green bag full of worms)

Lia: How're your powers?


Kanisha (thumbs up and wink): Good.


Lia: Fantastic, before you were so worried about controlling them.


Kanisha: Yeah, but not anymore, so let's go to school


Lia: Alright (runs) try and keep up


(Kanisha laughs, then runs past Lia, turns the corner, while running notice Lia isn't behind her, so she goes backwards and sees Lia leaning against a pole)


Kanisha: Sorry, I left you behind again.


Lia: I'm getting used to it, but that isn't why I'm leaning against this wall.


(A person who has long brown hair wearing a blue cap, red shirt, blue pants and white shoes riding a bike past by, Lia snatches something that isn't by the camera at the moment)


(The screen reveals Lia is holding a box)


Kanisha (with sparkles in her eyes): Is it what I think it is?


(Lia nodded, then she reveals that inside the box is manga with two boys holding swords, side by side)


(Kanisha smiles)


Lia (closes the box and gives it to Kanisha): Happy birthday (bows) My friend 


(Kanisha hugs Lia, while her tail is holding the box and jumps with a smile on her face)


Lia (still being held by Kanisha): Glad, you like it, I heard you are a big fan of this manga, but couldn't find the whole collection.


Kanisha: You are the best. We should go, the bell is about to ring (speeds into the school)


(The screen switches to Kanisha in the gym by Lia with dodgeballs flying from all over and students knocking each other out)


(Kanisha dodges all the balls and Lia catches them and throws it at many students)

Lia (throws the ball to Kanisha, and Kanisha catches it): Hit me.


Kanisha (holding the ball): Why do you always let me win?


Lia: Because I...I hate fighting you.


(Kanisha shrug her shoulder and throws a ball at Lia, then Lia falls on the floor)


Kanisha (on her knees by Lia): Want a smoothie?


Lia: (sits up) Sure, why not?


(The screen shows Kanisha and Lia drinking smoothie and then she sees Jay: a boy who has brown spiky hair, wearing a white shirt, blue shorts, and white shoes riding a skateboard with a helmet on)


Jay: (stops skateboarding) (looks at Kanisha and Lia) Skipping again.


Kanisha (stops drinking) (looks at Jay): I could say the same about you.


Jay: Guess you got me.


Lia (looks at her phone): We should head back, our science Class will be starting.


Kanisha: got it (takes Jay and Lia's hand, then speeds to the school looking like a colorful blur)

Ms. K: Kanisha Blue.


Kanisha (making a cherry flying): Here (eats the cherry)

Lia (playing an Nintendo DS): Here.


Ms. K: Jay Q.


Jay: Sup, everybody I'm present for science class.


Ms. K (with an annoyed look on her face): Just here is fine.


(The screen shows Ms. K pointing to a chalkboard, the chalkboard shows list of steps)


Ms. K: Everybody get a partner, the partner will get a map, and you will go on a trip around the other science classes on the map, in these classes you must find a paper pinned to the wall that has facts about science.


A girl who has red hair, freckles (waving her hand): Excuse me 


Ms. K (curious): Yes, Kite.


A girl who has red hair, freckles: Is it only two people allowed or can we have more?


Ms. K (seeming more annoyed): I said partner, not partners (looks at Kanisha) and I don't want any trouble, got it?


(Kanisha smiles and gives a thumbs up along with a wink)


Kanisha (between Lia and Jay): Well I guess I have to choose between you two.


(Lia moves Jay, put Kanisha close to her with her arm around her waist, with Jay on the floor)


Kanisha: Guess I'm spoken for.


Ms. K (moves Lia and Kanisha): Nope (throws Kanisha on Jay) You two are together (looks at Lia) You go with  Rebecca (points to a girl who has curly red hair, wearing a yellow dress and heels)


Lia (gives a cold look at Rebecca): Fine.


Mrs. K: And I'll be watching you.


(The screen goes to Lia and Rebecca along with Kanisha and Jay walking in the hallway with lots of students)

Worm is a manga similar to my hero academia a world of capes and villains  it's it's more so than the other. but it is very intriguing. Worm is a self-published web serial by John C. "Wildbow" McCrae that aims to subvert and play with common tropes and themes of superhero fiction. As McCrae's first novel, Worm features a bullied teenage girl, Taylor Hebert, who develops the superpower to control worms, insects, arachnids and other simple lifeforms.

The sun was shining in the highest part of the sky indicating midday.

The passersby went from one side to another in the streets of the city some dressed in casual clothes, others in business suits and others with backpacks indicating that they were travelers, at that moment there was a crowd of people watching a screen placed in a building like many others.

On one of the screens was the oasis heart creator talking to a reporter.

"Explain please Mr. Chung, what do you have to say to the millions of people watching this live broadcast, what do you feel about having put your hopes in a game and that it will take you to the top?" The young reporter asked excited to receive an interview with Sul-Chung the creator and director of the oasis heart.

"I have no words the first month of the launch of the game this had just received two hundred thousand visits which we worried about me and the development team of the game because they were very few, but the next month those two hundred thousand became two hundred million! I felt that day to see the millions of people enjoying my game, my idea made me almost cry for emotion since then and dedicated every second of my life to the game, adding content, characters, enemies, environments, rewards and the best of all is that the players of the world continue to support my work and that of my team. " Sul-Chung said explaining to the young reporter how the game at a certain point received very little attention and days later it exploded and became a worldwide sensation.

A limousine had stopped in front of the building where Sul-Chung was, in addition to the cosplay and video game convection and from within the limousine a young woman with long golden hair with tight blue clothes came out and stretched making her feminine attributes become more detailed in his suit.

"Miss Hye, that suit does not fit a bit tight?" The driver of the limousine said observing how the young girl's costume made her attributes stand out.

"I don't care, I like this cosplay, you can go now." The young girl said waving her hand at the driver.

Inside the limousine the driver feels some concern leaving Hye alone at a video-game and cosplay convention, so he did not think twice and hired a couple of personal guards who stayed close to her without her noticing it while. That she enjoyed the convention, events and news about the world of the heart of the oasis that coincidentally was also the favorite game she played after her long hours of acting.

The two private guards on the other hand were having trouble keeping track of Hye because all the women who did cosplay wore many clothes that usually covered few parts of their bodies, so they would not stop being distracted.

"Heavens, the women here are beautiful, I feel like in paradise." one of the guards said to his partner while he was taking pictures of a cosplayer wearing the costume of a popular manga character.

"The costumes that men wear here are also impressive, look at a Goblin slayer cosplayer!" The guard ran away to take a close-up picture of the cosplayer of goblin slayer, a popular comic manga character which was very violent, but managed to attract the attention of readers.

The other guard was only watching Hye allowing his partner to enjoy the convention.

"I really think I made a mistake in bringing you here today" the personal guard said following Hye although she remained motionless for a long time watching the screens showing Live gameplays of players from around the world.

Hye was a very active player in the game, so she was very interested to see the strategies that other players used to be able to increase levels in the game world, until a particular transmission called Hye's attention.

On the screen you could see a player, a man of an advanced age running through the desert being chased by a group of sandworms that were attacked by mysterious floating skulls, the man showed an expression of happiness and emotion through the screen that unlike the other players who took the game very seriously, he seemed to enjoy it in his own way.

Other people dressed casually approached the monitors and began to exchange opinions with each other out loud.

"That person is not too old to be playing that game, I mean look at him, he seems to be 50 to 60 years old, how the hell do he run and not get tired?" One of the people said talking to his companion, but he was unable to respond because he had been watching the person on the screen.

"At least you can see that he enjoys the game, he looks at his smile, it looks like a boy running through the park with his dog." The companion said.

"Yes, a child who runs in the desert and who is being chased by worms that eat meat." The person said sarcastically observing the monitor.

Hye listened to the comments and was upset by such behavior on the part of other people, judging someone by their age and how things were going. Hye was about to start an argument with them but this was stopped by a person behind her who put his hand on his man shaking his head.

"Do not argue with them, hardheads never understand things no matter how much you explain them, oh excuse my bad manners, my name is Frank, you seem to be enjoying watching Sebastian." The person named Frank said, mentioning the name of the player.

Hye turned around and was curious how Frank knew the person on the screen.

"Sebastian, do you know him?" Hye asked pointing his finger at the screen.

Frank denied the fact with his head and answered.

"Not personally, but I know that person is called Sebastian, and he won the hatred of many players in the heart of the oasis because they bet that he would die in his first encounter with a unique creature, but he just won what caused thousands of players who had bet against him lost millions of gold coins. " Frank raised both hands to the screen winking at him.

"That's why this person is my hero, thanks to him, my guild earned 29 million gold because one of my colleagues bet 150 gold coins in his favor, for that reason I hope that person continues to enjoy the game and never find those idiots who like to create problems for other players. " Frank said changing the expression on his face, mentioning players who enjoyed ruining the game for others.

"You mean the PK's?" Hye said watching Frank who accented the fact with his head.

"I think if he were to be attacked by Pk's he would end up killing them without problems and on the other hand I played the game for 4 months and this is the first time I see that skill that makes skulls appear that float and attack indepently to anything that he approaches the player. " Hye said watching the group of skulls that incessantly attacked the worms.

"Now that you mention it, the day in which he fought against the only monster also used a strange ability which attracted the blood of dead enemies and used it as an extension of his sword, so I'm more interested to know what class he got on the game, we need to remember that the heart of the oasis does not have a system of selectable classes, these can only be achieved through the use of a constant method. " Frank said while explaining the method of obtaining classes in the game, Hye on the other hand was watching as Sebastian continued to slaughter the worms without receiving a blow.

"That stopped being a hunt, that already became a one-sided massacre." Hye said.

On the other hand Sebastian continued to destroy the worms since he had woken up, but this time he had gone out to exercise, shower and buy cleaning supplies for his house.

After having started to play Sebastian had appeared inside the city, so he had to run out into the desert and start using the servants to kill more worms and get experience, at the end of that day Sebastian again managed to increase his level and of his servants in addition to the range of ability.

Another day was ending as in the desert Sebastian was sitting on a rock watching the sun slowly descend on the horizon, which flooded him with peaceful thoughts ignoring everything around him.

"What a quiet night." Sebastian said watching as in the sky and began to notice some stars.

"Well, bedtime!" Sebastian stood up and stretched putting both hands behind his back.

"Tomorrow will be a better day, although I'll have to find a new ground to hunt monsters, I could barely level up today." Sebastian said disconnecting from the game.

Moments after leaving the game Sebastian went to his kitchen and prepared an instant soup which he enjoyed slowly at the entrance of his house observing the moon that loomed in the sky.

Sebastian decided to try a game for the first time in his life, the decision he made did not know that he would totally change his life as time passed in the game, and he would not know about the adventures he would be about to experience in his first game VRMMORPG.

When Aron returned home and told Evelyn about his recruitment into All Stars, for some reason, Evelyn started frowning. Thinking that Evelyn was worried about him entering higher leveled dungeons, Aron tried explaining himself. However, Evelyn was too busy scolding Alissa to notice.
"That sly fox! How dare she try to take my brother away from me!"
Evelyn wasn't very worried for Aron. She was more anxious about Alissa stealing her brother away from her. After all, from the story Alissa told her, she had long ago discovered that along with his new looks, Aron had newly discovered powers. She had deduced that Aron had the power to steal abilities, a skill she had only heard about in manga. Immediately, she wanted to brag to her friends (who always dissed her brother), however, she concluded that the reason Aron had kept his abilities a secret from her was because of that very reason; he knew she would disclose it to everyone. So, Evelyn decided to keep quiet and not make Aron upset. Instead, she decided that she would take him to school one day and show off his looks to everyone.
However, before that, she needed to get the vixen, Alissa, off of Aron. She was about to stop Aron from entering the dungeon with Alissa, but the contract stated that neither party could back out of their deal. Also, Evelyn had never seen Aron this happy, ever since the day their dad died. Aron was too busy taking caring of her and her mom that he never got to enjoy life for himself. Evelyn decided not to hold Aron back and bit her lip. Though she wasn't stopping Aron, that didn't mean she accepted Alissa.
She consoled herself with the thought that Aron would be too busy fighting and was too dense to notice Alissa's advances. But, she still couldn't get the notion of Aron and Alissa returning with their hands intertwined out of her mind. 
"Watch out for snakes!" she warned, hoping he would get the message. However, Aron, misunderstanding, wondered how Evelyn knew he was going into the Devil's Tunnel, a dungeon full of huge worms and poisonous snakes.
He quizzically raised his eyebrows and then went upstairs to prepare for his hunt.

Aron Winter. A F Class Adventurer. Weak. Ugly. Fat. He was the definition of all of these.

However, one day, in a Dungeon, he found a mysterious fruit that changed his life.

Back home, Shirou plopped onto his bed with a million thoughts running through his head.
When he saw Sakura in the arcade, he realized that she hadn't been too badly broken yet. However, it was only a matter of time before Shinji would be sent overseas to study. He had to take the opportunity while he was still in Japan to clean out the Matous entirely.
But to do that, he needed to get even stronger. Currently, the only things he had mastered were Martial Arts and Kendo. None of his Magecraft were up to scratch, and he hadn't even started trying to activate his Reality Marble yet.
Perhaps Kiritsugu would be able to help him? He had tried to use his Healing Magecraft on him during training, but the effects were minimal. As expected, even Avalon wouldn't be able to cleanse humanity's greed and desires. 
However, the Healing did manage to stagnate the corruption. Kiritsugu would not be able to return to his prime, but at least he wouldn't deteriorate further as long as Shirou was here. Since that was the case, wouldn't he be able to use the remaining 17 Origin Bullets to aid Shirou in destroying the Matous?
But firstly, Shirou would have to prove that he was capable of handling the assault by himself. 
Shirou wanted Kiritsugu to simply be a back-up plan, since he was aware of his wishes. 
He wanted to retire from being a Magus, yet Shirou was going to ask him to return to being one. Apart from that, if Kiritsugu died, then Shirou would have to find work to earn money. Although he could easily draw manga or win the lottery, it would still take time out of his day which he could be using to train.
So while the reason may be cold, detached and more rational than emotional, Shirou wanted Kiritsugu to stay alive.
In the end, everything counted on strength. Without enough strength, nothing could be achieved.

Inside the Matou residence, a hunched figure was currently overwatching a huge pit of worms, writhing inside and outside of a young girl with purple hair.
'Hmm… that Emiya boy has already grown so much… he will definitely be an obstacle. Looks like I'll have to speed up my plans.'
He slowly raised his hand, and several worms crawled out from his arm. Anyone watching would probably puke at the disgustingness of it.
The worms continued to slither out, until it filled the pit to the absolute brim. 
The girl, as if she felt the increase in worms, started writhing about, showing her first movement since she started the 'treatment'.
"Hmm. Looks like your adapting rather well. Let's hope you mature faster than he does."
The little girl simply looked at the ceiling with her lifeless eyes.

Shirou continued his training, while also keeping in contact with Hiro. After that last incident, he found that training all the time was having a negative effect on his mentality.
He needed to be able to let go once in a while, to relax a little bit. Otherwise, he'd be like a permanently wound-up toy, and would break when it really came to the important parts.
Of course, the DS system made sure that his body was always in tip-top condition. However, his mental health was not the same. Academics only helped with wisdom and intelligence, not the way the brain handles stress.
And so, a year slowly passed by.
Shirou made an extreme amount of progress. His Physical ability had reached an insane 1,500, meaning he had 150 grown men's worth of physical prowess. 
His Academics had increased every day as well, reaching 431, 43 times the norm.
He had also made a lot of progress with his Swordsmanship, Martial Arts and Magecraft.

Pretty much all of his Magecraft had reached 100% mastery, with the exception of Origin Bullet. The reason was that he was having some trouble recreating the Origin Bullets.
He had already analysed the structure of Kiritsugu's Bullets and Thompson Contender, and they were not easy to reproduce.
The Bullets were conceptual weapons, while the Contender was a Mystic Code. 
Therefore, Shirou opted to create his own version. Instead of using his bones, he would compress a sword from his Unlimited Blade Works into the form of a bullet, then fire it off from his palm instead of a gun.
The way it acted was more similar to Broken Phantasms compared to the penetrating power of the Thompson, but that was to Shirou's advantage.
If his Origin could be actualized over a large area, then there would be no problem with hitting the enemy's Magic Circuits.
In fact, it could be possible to change their entire body into a Sword. 
He could then store them within his UBW after tracing them, turning him into a sort of 'Collector'. It sounded a bit dark to Shirou, but also way too cool to pass up.
As for his Magic Circuits, he now had 106 of them. With a capacity of 20 each, it totalled to 2,120 Prana. 
With this much, he would be able to support the Reality Marble Unlimited Blade Works for 10 minutes, minimum. 
The original Shirou required the help of Rin to activate it. Assuming that the defective Magic Circuits would be able to provide 5 units of Prana, then it would give him 135 units. If it was rounded up along with Rin's Prana, it would reach 200 units of Prana. With that much, he was able to support it for a couple of minutes.
The current Shirou had 2,120 Prana, which probably allowed for a maximum uptime of half an hour.

Avalon was now truly in a dormant state. With Shirou's current Physical capabilities, there was no need for its regeneration ability. 
Right now, his UBW could actually be called Avalon, the final resting place of King Arthur. 
With its transformation, his tracing ability had also taken a new aspect. Instead of copying just its history and its structure, it also copied the errors within. With this information, the next Projection of the weapon would be equal to the original, since the flaws were taken away. It wouldn't surpass the original, since it was still a 'copy'.
Another change was that he was able to trace Divine Constructs. Although it took an immense amount of time, he was still able to do it. This new capability would allow him to trace the Jewel Sword with ease. He also wouldn't need to go down the Heaven's Feel route to get it.
After taking down the Matous, Shirou was going to take a break. He had been training – no, grinding – non-stop, even in his free time.
The occasional meet-ups with Hiro weren't enough to restore his mentality anymore, so he was a bit unstable already. 
It was to the point where he thought that massacring a bunch of people would make it better.

"We're going to the import shop next huh."


"Yes! They seem to have various rare goods and ingredients!"


"Mimi, who made it her goal to taste all sorts of gourmet food in the galaxy, answered in high spirits.


"Can't go wrong with the food, I guess."

Elma, who was following behind, gave the two of us an ambiguous smile. What's up with her?


I got the answer to that particular question right away the moment we arrived at the shop.

"H- Hi, Hiro-sama, i- isn't that a..."




Mimi pointed at an unidentifiable 'something' thrashing about in a cage. What the heck is that scary-looking sh*t? It looks like a super-dangerous creature. Rather, ain't that a freaking F*cehugger!?

"No idea. I haven't tried eating one of these things yet after all. But it seems to be very nutritious? According to the packaging, that is."


Elma shrugged her shoulders as she replied. I looked towards Mimi and saw her shake her head vehemently. Though she'd react like that. Eating this thing's impossible for me too.


"But I think this would be a good start if you want to eat all the rare foodstuffs in the galaxy."


"Well, we're both beginners y'see. Let's start with the less-radical items first."


"T- That's right! Ah, Hiro-sama! It seems they're selling some delicious-looking meat over there!"


"Oh! Yeah, I see it!"


Both of us hurriedly escaped from Elma who was grinning in amusement while holding that mysterious vacuum-sealed food(?) thingy. No, this isn't us escaping. We're just moving towards a new objective. Yup, that's it.


"Th- This is... manga meat!?"


It was a juicy-looking piece of meat skewered by a large bone in the center. It's unmistakably manga meat!


"Uhm… Three kilos of this meat cost about 76 Enels. It's already been pre-cooked so it's ready-to-eat."


"It seems to have been smoked."


"Okay, let's buy some then. I'd like to try em."

This place is kind of like a grocery store so I don't think they'll be selling anything dangerous. So I separated from Mimi and proceeded to look for rare foodstuffs myself. There was a lot of curious stuff; from edible worms to Kobe beef… Wait, Kobe beef!? How'd they got their hands on Kobe beef!?


I didn't manage to sniff out the supplier, but it seems like Kobe beef was shipped to all corners of the known galaxy as one of the finest quality meats... 100 grams of the stuff costs a whopping 1000 Enel. And it seems it can become even more expensive depending on the type of cut. It's way too expensive, man. I could buy it, sure. But I don't feel the urge to after seeing that ridiculous price.


While I was busy marveling at how expensive Kobe beef was, Elma, who had one hand pushing her shopping cart, approached me and gave me a curious gaze.


"You can at least afford to splurge that much with our current income, can't you?"


"Look here you. 300 grams of this stuff is equivalent to one pirate ship y'know. Knowing that… You still think you can eat this stuff without worries?"


"It's a piece of cake for you though."


"Heck no! Luxury is the enemy! There should be cheaper but tastier food in this universe for sure! Artificial meat steak is tasty enough anyway!"

Elma left the meat section after saying so. I think I saw a sample of that vacuum-packed F*cehugger(?) in Elma's basket just now. Let's just pretend I didn't see that.


Next up's the drink corner. There's a lot of suspicious-looking juices lined up… Cola, is there any cola...!

I saw a dark-colored liquid inside a bottle. The label even explicitly shows『Ｃｏｋｅ』on it. There's no mistaking that, man! It's my favorite cola! This marks the end of my journey, it seems.

But anyway, it did taste like cola. I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I thought, but it was still cola. I finished the contents of the bottle and went back inside the store to ask the clerk about it.


"How much of this stuff do you have in stock?"


"U, Uhm… We have seven cases inside the store and seven cases out in the backyard."

I paid the money and finished the delivery procedures. Hehe, now I'm all set. It wasn't my ideal cola because it was uncarbonated, but the taste was fine. I'll put up with it until I manage to find the real deal someday… Or maybe I can carbonate them myself?


I went towards the entrance of the store and searched for the relevant info on my portable terminal. But it looks like no device for carbonation exists in the market. Why the heck is this the case even if technology has advanced leaps and bounds already...? This world is warped… And I will be the one to correct it...

"That's some scary-looking gaze you have on there..."

Oh well. Accomplishing one's goal so easily doesn't seem interesting anyway. Let's just reflect on this feeling of frustration for now… This bitter reality… fufufu.


We went back to the ship after finishing our shopping trip and tried out the various stuff we bought.


The manga meat was… the most ideal manga meat ever. It was filling, flavorful, and had the perfect texture… But having one skewer each proved to be a bit much for us. That's because even without the bone, each skewer was 2 kilos worth of meat y'know.


It would have been fine if we just bought one skewer and divided it evenly among ourselves with a knife. But being unable to finish manga meat is a kind of romance as well.


And Elma did buy one of those mysterious creatures. I tried eating it after plucking up my courage and found it surprisingly alright. The flesh covered by a hard-looking shell was surprisingly soft and tender. It kinda had a kamaboko-like texture. The flesh was nice, creamy, and slightly sweet. I can only describe this as a creamy croquette… Nah, creamy kamaboko [TL Note: for reference ask Mr. Google.].


"This is pretty good."


"It's just that its appearance is unappetizing."


Mimi had an expression that looked like she couldn't believe I and Elma were eating the thing.


My cola? I tried having the two of them drink it.


"Doesn't this smell like medicine? I don't like it, sorry."


"It's sweet..."


Elma told me she didn't like it. Mimi gave an unclear evaluation but had a subtle expression on her face. That's fine you guys. I'll just enjoy them by myself then. I'll find a way to make them carbonated and let you taste real cola! Just you wait, guys!
