Arriving in the venue, Haru thought that it would be a boring party with a bunch of old men talking about complicated things. He knew that he needed to do this socialization meeting in the future, and it wasn't wrong for Taichi to invite him, but then again, he wasn't a politician. He was only a businessman and he was thinking about his profit rather than the election. 
There were two big differences between businessmen and politicians. 
One was holding the life of the people, while the other one was giving the hope of people.
Different from a businessman who will give money and life to their employee and they also give what they have promised, but whether that reward is fair or not, it is a different matter. Politicians will give hope to a lot of people, but after they have gotten their position, they will forget their promise right away. 
In the end, there are both good and bad politicians and businessmen in this world.
Haru was a good businessman since he was quite generous to his people.
Taichi could be considered quite a powerful politician and his career was quite good, but then again, he hadn't woken up after he learned the story that his grandson had told him. 'Betting all of his money into gold future?' If he didn't know then he would smack his grandson for doing something stupid, but then his grandson was successful. There was nothing that he could say at that moment.
The moment Haru and Taichi entered the venue, both of them caught the attention of everyone.
Taichi was, of course, a famous figure and also had a lot of power in Chiba, but then the one who walked beside him was famous since this young man had mastered a number of media under his hands.
For a group of politicians, Haru was simply a huge supporter as long as they could get him to promote them then their election would be guaranteed.
For a group of businessmen, they couldn't wait to talk about investing, and a lot more when they saw him.
For a group of young ladies and the wives of everyone in this place, Haru was simply a candy in their eyes. They couldn't wait to walk towards him and looked at him closer. 'I - If possible then they also want to touch his arm or body....'
Haru didn't know what they were thinking, but he was also an Emperor and knew what to do in this kind of situation.
But his premonition was right since Taichi had brought him because his grandfather wanted to show him off to everyone which made him quite speechless.
Their conversation was quite simple, and they were simply asking about investing advice.
Haru was simply bullshitting on the spot too lazy to talk with them since he didn't think that they would meet each other that often in the future. 
The people who came toward Haru had forgotten that Haru was a high school student when they saw him and really thought that this guy was an experienced investor with a decade of working experience.
Haru's experience on quest made the aura around his body wasn't something that high school students should have, and it made some people think that he was an old driver. 
Haru who was bullshitting everyone thought that he might have the talent to become a cult leader after seeing everyone's reaction. He suddenly thought that it might be possible to open his cult.
'How about the Cult of Wealth?'
But then again for people who could come to this place all of them weren't stupid and they also had a lot of experiences since it that wasn't the case how could they able to stand up above some people.
Even though they were interested in investing in him, they still had their caution.
However, if Haru heard what they were thinking he would only sneer since he didn't have an intention to help them to make money. It was quite easy to fool them or invite them to invest in him, but he didn't want to do that since he didn't want to manage other people's money since it was very troublesome.
His intention to become rich was to live a comfortable life with his girls. If he managed other people's money then how could he be living a comfortable life?
Haru thought to step back and let his grandfather manage those groups of people, but another group of young ladies came toward him. He only sighed inwardly since he wanted to escape from this play right away!
Haru stayed calm and maintained his fake smile, but he suddenly noticed a pink-haired girl, who he had met at the Hakone hot spring inn before talking with a petite girl with dark hair. He shook his head and didn't think too much about them.

Erina who had arrived at the party was very annoyed.
The moment Erina entered the party, her eyes were attracted to Haru who was talking with a group of people. She had to admit that Haru who was wearing a suit was very handsome, and simply ignored the content of their conversation since she didn't have that much interest in the financial world. Her world was culinary and creating a delicious dish was something that she thrived for.
Different from Alice who was free-spirited walking around curiously while talking with everyone.
Erina was quite restrained and she was in a very bad mood giving air that made it very hard for people to approach her telling them to get away from her.

Erina was startled then turned her head and saw Haru who suddenly stood up beside her. She blushed and said, "W - Why are you here?!"
"What's wrong? You don't want me to be here?" Haru asked.
"NO!" Erina suddenly felt very regretful to say this to him, but then she noticed him looking at her intently. "W - What? Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Hmm, is it only me, but I have seen you wear this dress somewhere?" Haru said and thought that he had seen her in this dress. "Right, it's the photo that Alice has sent to me before."
Erina was embarrassed and pointed her hand. "Y - You haven't deleted my photo?!"
Haru sighed and said, "It's a very beautiful photo, I keep it right into my phone." He showed his smartphone to her.
"Give it to me! Delete it!" Erina blushed and tried to catch his smartphone.
Haru was really glad to do this since Erina's boobs were pressing on his body. He only raised his hand since it was impossible for her to get his smartphone from him. "I was just kidding. I have deleted it."
Erina also noticed that they were in very close distance, and hurriedly moved away. "I - Is that true? You don't lie to me?"
"If you still doubt me then you can check it," Haru said and showed his smartphone. 
"W - Well, I will believe in you...." Erina thought for a while and asked, "Your manga is going to be sold tomorrow right?"
Haru nodded and said, "You should buy it and check whether it is good or not."

Alice was very annoyed looking at Erina and Haru, who were talking to each other. She could see that even if she didn't do anything they might have a relationship sooner or later. She started to get annoyed then suddenly decided to walk toward them to join their conversation.

Hearing Haru's story, Erina really couldn't wait to read it. "If you have made it, then you need to tell me."
"You really like Shoujo manga, huh?"
"I don't like it! I hate it!" Erina said without hesitation and snorted. 
Haru knew very well about Erina's personality and said, "That's right, Erina..."
"Erina?" Erina blushed since she didn't expect him to call her first name.
"Is that not okay?" Haru asked.
"Well, I'll let you call me that." Erina nodded.
"Then, you can call me Haru," Haru said.
"Well, Haru..." Erina said his name softly with a flush on her face. 
Haru thought for a while and remembered the thing that he had gotten from Hundred's world and thought to create a unique dish from it. "Erina, can you help me to create a dish?"
"What dish?" Erina asked curiously.
But before he asked Erina, they suddenly heard a voice.
"I'll help you!"
Alice suddenly appeared and said, "Erina is quite busy with her work and she is going to become a 10 Elite in high school later. Her schedule might not be working and I'll help you in her place!" Her face seemed to be proud as if telling him to be happy that she had helped her.

She grabbed Erina's hand and said, "Tell me when you want to come later, so I can prepare myself! For now, we'll go back!" She pulled Erina's hand and went back from the party.
"Wait, Alice!" Erina screamed at her cousin.

Haru didn't even say anything, but he sighed when he thought about both sisters who were very beautiful.
"Do you have fun?" Taichi walked beside him and asked.

"Let's go back too."
Taichi nodded and thought that the engagement between him and Nakiri's young lady was real after seeing how close they were.
Haru didn't know what Taichi was thinking, but he was glad that he could go back and thought about researching more about the dish which he would create with Alice later since it might become a dangerous food if he made it carelessly.

The gamer, a recent manga I have recently been addicted too. Somehow the theme where life becomes a game is appealing to me. One can only dream to have that kind of ability, but alas it is merely a wish. Where are my manners, my name is Zed, an eighteen year old collage student and somewhat of an otaku, I have black hair, brown eyes and 5'6 in height. I have a lean build with a bit of fat due to my lazy nature. I am a fan of games especially Rpg, over the years, my love for games took root in fantasy manga and novels.

These stories are a world on itself, I even tried my hand at writing fanfiction. One would assume with my vast knowledge of game resources and fantasy novels that writing a story is easy, I tell you it's not. Writing a story is a new world in itself, stories are fickle and almost the good ideas are already posted out there but nonetheless I feel like writing my stories even if they're not popular. Now enough about little old me, and let's get on with the story.

One night when a shooting star twinkled in the sky, I made a wish to be in the gamer manga with the gamer ability. It's a silly wish I know, but one can only dream, with that thought in mind, I slept in my bed.

I quickly packed for the day for a major training montage as I headed to a park. I put my hand up and Imagined my magic to create an Illusion barrier.

My day went well and I decided it was finally time to head home. I raised my hand and Imagined going back to the real world and poured in my mana

My world turned to normal and the once destroyed place was now back to normal, really convenient too, that damage would have attracted unwanted attention. After my day of training, I went home and took a bath. I then cooked for dinner and did some Zen meditation for its calming effect, then went to sleep.

The next day, I went to the park and try my hand at zombies. The zombies were really nasty buggers, but with my masterful luring and unleashing my spinning compressed mana sphere, I leveled up pretty nicely. I hit the one hour mark and I am now level 3.

On a side-note, the zombies are acting wierd, they all started to combine and formed a legion zombie.

-Assembly of zombies full of resentment. When a large amount of zombies feel threatened due to mass hunting, they merge into a legion zombie. It has no magical abilities, but has immense strength and stamina. It is however, very slow.

"Oh, big target ahoy." I said as I threw some spinning compressed mana sphere through the big target.

I only managed to throw two spinning compressed mana sphere skills which were six spheres in total and all of the damage were all critical. Unfortunately it barely give a dent so I was forced to withdrawed. That Legion Zombie is sure ugly, if you know what I mean.

"Huff, huff, huff, WTF was that!, I know the manga made it look nice, but man that shit is scary." I said panting.

After resting for a couple of minutes, I finally calmed down. After cutting out my losses I decided to use the ID escape and go home to take a bath, eat then sleep.

The next day I woke with my sore body and forced my self to do my daily morning routine and necessities including a bath, morning exercise and breakfast. After finishing my morning habbit, I decided to explore the city.

Unfortunately, my plan came to an unlucky snag as I was spotted by a police near a school and assumed that I was a student there where I strongly denied.

Unluckily for me, the same entity that sent me here got my papers done at ******** school without my knowledge. On the the bright side, my school uniform and school supplies were handed down to me, the down side is that I got saddled up with Han Jee Han's class.

"Okay class we have a new student today."

"Hello my name is Zed, please take care of me."

"Okay, you may sit beside Han Jee Han." Said the teacher.

I headed up to my new seat and made with Han Jee Han, a young man in his late teens with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was surprisingly easily to get along with our similar hobbies with rpg games. I listened to the lessons which was lucky for me that I am familiar with it. Time passed quickly and the day was over.

"Ping."

I hunted down some zombies become I went home. I had obtained some decayed tooth which I forced myself to pick up and I have also gotten some soul stone.

As I broke out of my Illusion barrier someone saw me and said. "You!, what organization are from!."

I recognized the figure as one of my classmate, Shin Sun-il, the spiky green haired teen and the Chunbumoon's heir. I stuttered a bit, but composed myself and said "What organization?, I'm your your classmate and nope, don't belong to any organization."

"Really now?, your still not getting away, we are going to the Chunbumoon's headquarters for interrogation." Said Shin Sun-il as he dragged me away.

Quest missions; will be given by the system, long and difficult but rewarding.  
Side missions; short sometimes easy, small rewards. 
Creation missions; missions that will require Logan to make things. 
Timed missions; have a time limit, pass/fail depends on the mission.
[Ranks: F(lowest)- A, S, SS, SSS(highest) will determine the difficulty.]

Rewards for the missions will not have things like weapons that are overpowered; but things like blue-prints, ammo, materials, mystery crates (small chance of a weapon [1-5%]), and system points will be available. Can exchange points for Lien. System Points will be hard to get!

Hiro: By the way, Uncle Erhard, show the weapons for beginners. 

Erhard took some swords and put them on the table.

And I see a warning sign.

Hiro: It looks like there is this rule. "A hero may not hold, with intent to fight, any weapon other than their assigned legendary weapon".

Eclair: How are you supposed to fight with only a shield ?!!

Erhard: How does that work?

Erhard uses his magical magnifier to have a look at the orb of the shield.

Erhard: It looks like any other small shield at first glance. Does this thing come off?

Hiro: It has to stay attached to the body. I can take it off if I wish.

I took the shield and put it on the table. It appears back on my arm after a few seconds.

Hiro: That is the result. It won't stay for a long time.

Erhard: That's so weird but I sense a great amount of power from this thing.

He says while pointing the orb.

Erhard: But even my appraisal magic isn't telling me much.

I take a sword in my hand while sighing. It didn't fly. Woah. The barrier can do anything.

Eclair: How can you hold it now, Hiro-dono?

Hiro: I don't have any intention to fight with it now. I think it will jump out of my hands the moment I think of using it as a weapon. Like this.

At the end of my sentence, the sword flies out of my hand.

Eclair: This is going to be a problem. I think I have to earn all the experience as your companion, Hiro-dono.

I smile at Eclair.

Hiro: Damn, I feel like a parasite now.

Eclair: That's wrong, Hiro-dono. If anyone is a parasite here, that would be me. I am currently a wanted criminal. I am the one who is relying on you more. And I feel bad about it. In fact, I would be glad to be of some use to you. It makes me feel a little bit better.

Hiro: Thanks, Eclair. But don't feel bad. What I did are my choices alone. I will be relying on you from now on. Eclair.

Eclair: Hiro-dono...

Hiro: And also. I got some 'rewards' from you too.

I say while grinning and imitating the groping with my hands. Eclair immediately understood what 'rewards' meant and she started blushing. 

Eclair: Hiro-dono!

Hiro: Hahaha...

Erhard: Alright, lovebirds. If your flirting is over, can we get some armor for the kiddo?

Eclair: L... L... Lovebirds ?!! U... Uncle Erhard, You are w... wrong! W... We are nothing like that!

Erhard: Yeah... Yeah... Whatever you say. Anyway, shall we look at some armor instead?

Hiro: Yeah.

I go and pick up an iron shield nearby while smiling naturally.

Hiro: Man, I wish my shield is at least like this one. I could at least beat others harder with this type. Huh?

Immediately my shield changed like the iron shield I held and the only difference is the red orb in the duplicated shield. 

Erhard: What the ?!!

This is the power of the Legendary Weapons. They can duplicate a weapon if they are of the same type. Naofumi didn't know this at the start. 

Iron Shield +1 defense.

Eclair: The shield got copied?

Hiro: Hahaha... It looks like I can copy as long as it's the same kind. 

Erhard: Hahaha! I guess it isn't a legendary weapon for nothing. What are you waiting for ?!! Go on, kiddo! Copy every shield in this shop! 

Hiro: But Uncle Erhard. It is more or less stealing, right? So, promise me that you would ask for money for these too in the end.

Eclair: That's what I am thinking too.

Erhard: Man. Both of you are too good for this world. Anyway, I have a special shield. Let me bring that out too.

Uncle Erhard goes and brings a shield that I have been waiting for, The Meteor Shield or The Siderite shield or The Shooting Star Shield. The names are different because the anime and manga and LN have different names.

Damn, can't the anime and manga adapt the LN as it is ?!! Changing names as they wish and adding whatever stuff they like. Now, I can't even be sure if I am in the anime or Manga or the LN world. 

Anyway, let's call this Meteor Shield. The meteor shield has a special effect that creates a Shooting Star barrier. And that barrier can be easy to cover my Barrier Magic.

Anyway, I copied every shield in the shop.

Hiro: Uncle, I have a request for you. I want you to make the shields that can be used as weapons. Let's see. You can make the edges sharper and maybe put some spikes on the shield. Of course, I will pay for it.

Erhard: Hahaha! That's a great idea. Shields that can be used as a weapon.

Hiro: Ah, about the one shield I said with shaper edge, I want it like this. It should be a concavo-convex metal disc with this design. 

I draw the design on paper. Red then white and then red and then blue and a white star in the blue region.

Erhard: What the hell is this?

Hiro:  just do it, I will pay extra for this and also make it with the strongest metal you got. I will pay for it.

Eclair: Why do you like this design, Hiro-dono?

Hiro: It makes me feel like 'Captain' of the team.

Eclair: Huh?

Erhard: Alright, I will make it. But it will take about a week.

Hiro: No problem. Anyway, we will go to training now. Give us some armors that cover our heads, Uncle.

Erhard: Alright.

Both Eclair and I put on the armors and head out to our first training.

And I was dropped into a world with one of the worst characters I have ever seen... 
I am now the Shield Hero... *Sigh* Achieving a normal life with a harem of cute girls in this world is gonna be a pain... 
But no matter what, I will make sure that I won't regret my choices ever...
