I Don't Own Any Of The Worlds They Belong To There Respictive Studio/Company

Actually, Meng Fan forgot something too. His stream.
The earliest group of fickle netizens had come to his stream for drawing. Then, most of them turned out to be manga lovers, who made up a large group of potential consumers.
He thought about it and decided 50,000 was not a lot, and there was no need for him to think of ways to buy it himself.
The biggest problem now with completing the [Professional Manga Artist] task was the lack of content. It took 11 chapters to be updated to make up one volume.
"8 chapters!"
Meng Fan flipped through the volume and the script Mr.Sleepy had sent him. Although publishing 8 chapters in the first volume wasn't a great move; one should at least publish 9 chapters to have a complete story; Meng Fan didn't have time to worry about this. They did this so they could publish more single volumes.
Of course, the premise is that the number of pages in the first 8 chapters were enough to support a single copy.
"8 Chapters?"
Mr.Sleepy was familiar with the content... and had no objections to this at all. He actually chuckled as he responded to Meng Fan, "I think it's great! Chapter 8 and Chapter 9 should be very connected, so that once they finish reading chapter 8… Hahaha this cliffhanger, it's a killer! I like it!"
Meng Fan was speechless. He didn't think that's how Mr.Sleepy would interpret this.
It made sense. His favorite thing on earth was cliffhangers. And he left you hanging for days, too. He'd been cursed and scolded as a "cliffhanger dog". After all, he graduated from the cliffhanger class, so his brain must be fragmented too!
"Then it's set. I'll go place the order now."
Mr.Sleepy hung up.

These wealthy people were so different from us mortals. Even the tone of his voice had substance.
The issue with the publishing house had been resolved, and Meng Fan felt no matter how well the first volume sold, good or bad, they'd have no difficulty continuing publications in the future. Even if the sales volumes will decrease in the future, it was enough for the first few publications to sell 100,000 copies.
The System didn't specify how many sales each volume had to make; it only said the total sales had to reach 100,000.
Turns out, this was indeed the case.
The [Professional Manga Artist] task was at 1/10 experience points. The 1 had come from the first volume publication of "Guide to Campus RoMANce".
As for why the sales count was 0... This was because all of the single copies of "Guide to Campus RoMANce" had been gifted by Meng Fan after he printed them. He didn't go through any sales channels, so the System refused him the experience.
Now that "Guide to Campus RoMANce" had updated to chapter 12 or so, he could think about publishing the second volume, regardless if they planned to sell or not.
Meng Fan decided to find Qin Jiao again the next day to publish this manga since she'd helped him last time with her connections.
"No problem." Qin Jiao then asked, "My studio has a slot for a single volume publication, so you can just deliver it. Are you going to pay for it yourself again?"
This time, Meng Fan wasn't in a rush. Moreover, he could leave everything to the publishers to deal with it. He had to use the sales channels somehow; even a little bit counts.
And "Guide to Campus RoMANce" was very popular too; people might actually buy it.
"Let's go."
Qin Jiao asked Meng Fan to wait while she drove the car out.
"Where? The publisher?"
"The studio! Even if you're just a shopkeeper, you should meet your employees!"
Shortly after, they arrived at the XiZi cultural center's front gate. Meng Fan saw the Da Mei studio sign as soon as he stepped out of the car and walked towards it. He stepped in there to take a look and paused for a moment. The interior and exterior of the studio were from two different worlds!
Renovations?
It's only been a few days, there's no way they could have renovated in such a short time! The place also didn't need much renovations either. Such a big change could only be caused by decor.
Brand new office furniture, potted plants, small accessories, equipment... it looked simple, but gave you a culturally rich and creative feeling. It was a vibrant studio, full of life.
"Professor Qin, Meng boss."
There were already people in the studio and had gotten up to greet Qin Jiao and Meng Fan. they were all either alumni or current students from the academy. They also knew Meng Fan and were aware that he was one of the shareholders of this studio. They didn't know what to call him, so they followed his netizens.
At first, everyone was curious why Qin Jiao decided and opened a studio with Meng Fan. Although they still don't know why it didn't prevent them from respecting Meng Fan.
They knew he was incredibly talented at manga, and illustrations as well, and the manga adaptation he'd been working on was top-notch in the industry. On top of that, he was a talented sand artist too. 
"Hello everyone."
Meng Fan saw that there were already a dozen people there, some whom he recognized as well. Seeing Zhang Zhou Wei was there as well, he paused for a while once again. "What are you doing here?"
Zhang Zhou Wei smiled bitterly and pointed towards Wang Ya Nan, who was just coming down from upstairs. "Ya Nan is a member of the studio, I was dragged here to be used as free labor."
Meng Fan was satisfied by this answer as it made sense. Zhang Zhou Wei was way too lazy a person to come out and do labor for free. Only Ya Nan could order him to move a bit.
Everyone says that one thing leads to another, and Meng Fan felt Zhang Zhou Wei could be considered very lucky. With Wang Ya Nan to restrain him, he was able to improve as a person. Despite that, he was still managing to find ways to slack off.
Qin Jiao introduced all the members to Meng Fan, then clapped her hands. "At the moment, our studio's biggest job is illustrations. On this, your Meng boss has good experience, so let's invite Meng boss to share with us his knowledge."
As she spoke, she began to drag Meng Fan into the conference room.
Was Meng Fan just there to meet the employees?
That'd be overestimating how good of a person Qin Jiao was.
Qin Jiao had not only prepared a conference room for him, but she'd provided a PPT presentation as well. The content consisted entirely of Meng Fan's hand-drawn illustrations and posters for the different movie production companies.
On the topic of Meng Fan's hand-drawn posters, everyone was ecstatic to listen. His art was too good! 
At the moment, Meng Fan had finished hand-drawn posters for almost a dozen film crews. The presentation was already at the 5th group's commission, and each poster was regarded as a top tier industrial standard. His drawing skills and creativity were also top-notch.
The earliest job had been introduced to Meng Fan by Qin Jiao, so naturally, she'd been following all the news regarding these jobs. Plus, now that their studio was formed, she'd be even more focused on this industry.
He didn't care if it made money or not, but the employees did.
Hand-drawn posters for film crews are a popular job in this industry. With Meng Fan's invisible touch, Qin Jiao now felt that it wasn't impossible to expand their illustration business into hand-drawn posters. They didn't need Meng Fan to draw all of them, but they did need his guidance.
He can't teach with such incredible drawing skills? Impossible.
Although his attributes were a great help, he still relied on real skills. Like a herded duck, Meng Fan gathered his words and entered the role very quickly. For the entire hour, he provided only knowledge and experience, benefitting the studio members greatly.
Qin Jiao, who'd been listening on the side, continuously nodded again and again. When Meng Fan finally finished, she raised her hand with a smile on her face. "Meng boss, can you explain your experience in getting these commissions? Our studio's current business volume is a bit behind!"
She'd even used the formal term of 'you'! She wasn't asking for experience, she was straight up asking for commissions alright!
Meng Fan took out his phone and pulled Mr.Sleepy, FlatHeadBro, and everyone he'd collaborated with from the web novel industry into a WeChat group. He then messaged them. "I've set up a studio and we're currently looking to do commissions involving illustrations for novels. Didn't you guys say there were several online authors who required an illustration service? You can invite them to this group as well and our studio members will contact them. We can also display sample work in the chat room, so you guys can find an artist based on your needs."
Meng Fan was not prepared to accept any more novel illustration jobs, so he could leave these commissions to the studio. All of the employees in the studio had graduated or were attending the academy of fine arts, so their professional abilities were certainly no joke.
As for these online authors, well, they have saved the time of searching since there was a mob of professionals right here.
It was a win-win situation.


To reward Meng Fan for his bravery before his heroic death, the cosmos rewarded him with a 'system', sending him back in time to three months ago, alive.

So, I'm now 5 years old. I'm in Year 1. If I was in Japan, I wouldn't even be going to school. Jesus, my classes are horrible. Everyone keeps treating me like a girl. Heck, even the teachers treat me like one. Well little problems. My friendship with James and Alma is going great. We really bonded over this year. My quirk has also seen some significant growth. I tried infusing the wind element into a paper throwing star, caused it to slice through a curtain. Definitely dangerous. I also find that I could make potions. I thought of Minecraft potion effects and thought 'hey what if I infuse energy and fire element into a water bottle.' First try I caused it to evaporate. Second produce a fire water, drank it by accident and it was like eating concentrated ghost chilli pepper. My tongue is still numb. Milk didn't really work on it. However, I could now produce pepper concentrate on the go. Bound to be useful. The third try, I created a fire resistance potion. Naturally(with me being the avatar) I'm resistant to passive flames. I tested it on an insect. I thought it worked but all it did was make the insect unable to feel temperature. I created a temperature numbing drug. Not bad if I do say so myself. I kept trying until I finally succeeded. Those insects' sacrifices would not be forgotten. My next test was to see if it worked on objects. So, I poured the potion onto a teddy bear and then using my expert control. Almost burned down my house. Yeah, didn't expect for things to go so outta control. Luckily only my bedroom got damaged before mother put out the fire. However, most thing in the room are either water damaged or burn damaged. She decided to flood my room with me in it. She's must me great at her hydro-kinesis. The teddy did survive, so I successfully crafted a potion  of fire resistance. But I won't be doing any more of this. Partially because I might damage the house. But mostly because mother used this as an excuse to sleep with me in the guest bedroom. My father was looking ecstatic, sacrificing his only son just to get some peace 


More importantly, the lives of Kouta's parents. Suggesting that Midoriya's 16 at the time (when they went to their camp outing Midoriya must be 16 at least. Otherwise they did so much in less than a school grade, which  is bullshit.) Kouta's parents must have died when Midoriya was 14. If I am almost the same age as the deku, I have to be able to take on an A/S-rank villain in 9 years. No sweat, Muscular is only like a diluted version of All-Might, Japan's Number 1 hero. Awww Shit. Well I must hope that I'm the same age, but I in some ways, to be part of the MHA world, I kinda need to be in Midoriya's class. 

That aside, time to create a manga and a light novel. Why you may ask, not to get money, but also to make a name and to get some influence. Okay, also money. With my memory retention, I can remember all light novels and plots I have ever seen. And with the manga market saturated with hero manga based on real life. My manga will be an 'original' and 'creative' masterpiece. I can't wait. I'll start with In Another World with My Smartphone. I want publicity, but it doesn't have to be good publicity. My manga will be Dragon ball. This is a classic. With its classical art style and gags, this'll win over the public. Now to convince my parents to get me The Technology.

"Mama, can I have tablet to draw on and watch cat videos." I say in a girlish voice.

"Sorry honey, but I don't think you old enough to have one." She says apologetically.

"Pwease, mama (activate puppy eyes) I really want it. Remember I love you thisssss much" widening my arms in a cute manor.

 She suddenly bolts out the door. Crap, did I overdo it. Well I better write down ten chapters for the light novel. I can't wait for the reaction.

~7 minutes later~

*Thud*

What the heck was that. Shit is it robbers. I quickly scramble out of the guest bedroom, checking every corner while I make my way to the front door. What I see next is a silhouette, holding a package, with a crazed look in their eye. Painting, she steps forward. Aw crap. I scrabble back, by back hitting the wall. My father peeks around a corner, he looks ready to pounce. Suddenly, the intruder takes a long, hard stare at hi. Their eyes meet, next second my father disappeared. Goddess damn it. Useless. It crouches down.

"Hello, daughter. Let's have some fun. Hehehehehe."

Time to download a manga drawing app and start make manga. Then I need to contact a publisher. I quickly show the manga I created to my mother and father; they are really impressed with the design as well as the story. They especially like the idea of a kid with a monkey tail and think that a world without quirks is pretty much original. It seems like my mother has some connection with publishers in japan, who knew. She said she would give them a call to see if they would be interested in it while also open a bank account for me.

Crackedhouse Studio Editor POV

Crackedhouse Studio, despite the naming sense, is one of the most well respected and influential publishers for Manga, Light novels, magazines and novels. However, anything that interests may be given some support. With branches in major countries around the globe, it allows them to meet with artists. It's an expensive but beneficial to their company in finding new authors.

Although it's competitors, DreamPlanet, slowly gaining popularity, mainly due to their new releases of a few light novels and Manga. Their names are In Another World Without A Quirk, Reincarnated As A Quirkless Sword; Watch Me Rise To The Top, My Wizard Academia and  their most popular manga The Quirk Stealer Skill Is Overpowered. While Crackedhouse Studio struggles to fin an exceptional manga to blow their opposition out of the water, DreamPlanet might steal their spot as number one.

Great, the manga chapter for Hero In Parallel World is late. How am I gonna explain this to the Bossman. God this is a disaster. With the pressure of DreamPlanet, Bossman demanded a decrease for the deadline. We're overburdened. One slipup when he's in a bad mood and I might lose my job. I don't want to work in a black company. Great, another phone call, I hope it's about when I'll get the new chapter.

"Hello this is Okuma Kaori of Crackedhouse studio how may I help you" droned Kaori

"Hello, my name is Shiro Teichi. My daughter created a wonderful manga and would like for your company to publish it. He's a genius 5-year-old. The manga's named Dragon Ball and is likely to gain a lot of popularity. I'll hope (for your sake) that you consider publishing this. Fufufufu." says Teichi.

Shiro Teichi. THE SHIRO TEICHI! The supervillain that devastated Endeavour, hospitalising him. " Y-yes, we would l-love to publish this manga, please submit them to our site and if they meet the criteria, we'll publish it."

"Great, it'll be published under pseudonym called Avatar_Rio. My daughter thought it's fantastic and you do too. Also, you don't have to be so worried. I don't bite... often." replied Teichi before hanging up.

I must tell the Bossman. This is huge.
 
Bossman (will not be named) POV

Kaori just came in panicking. Apparently, THE Shiro Teichi just called saying her daughter, under the fake name Avatar_Rio, wants to upload a manga called 'Drakon Balls' or whatever. I swear the stuff this girl comes up with makes my blood boil. Perhaps it's time to let her go, she's too much of an annoyance. Huh what's this. Somebody called Avatar_Rio just uploaded a manga called Dragon Ball. F@£%. I don't want to piss that woman off. Hopefully decent to the point where i won't get in trouble for publishing it.

~10 minutes later~

This manga is pure genius. It comedic with old school manga style, classic gags and the overall simplicity that you can't find in modern day manga make it wonderful. A 5-year-old created this; I must send somebody to meet this prodigy. I would go myself, but 'that' woman creeps the hell out of me. Kaori looks like you just saved you job.

MC's POV

~2 weeks later~

Looks like they accepted 'my' manga. Time to rake in those Jane Austens (£10 notes). It seems that today I will be meeting with an Editor of Crackedhouse studio. Can't wait. Suddenly, I'm grabbed from behind and before I know it, I'm wearing a summer dress. Ugh. Why does she want to dress me up now. It's bad enough that she makes me get these girly hairstyles... No. Nonononono. I will not meet the editor dressed like this.

*Doorbell rings*

FFS. Why does she want to take away all my dignity.

My father opens the door and invites in the editor. Right now, I am being restrained on my mother's lap.

"Hello, my name Okuma Kaori and I'm the editor sent from Crackedhouse studio. I'm here to speak to the daughter of Shiro Teichi, also known as Avatar_Rio. I'm assuming that the child on Shiro Teichi lap is her darling daughter" Kaori says, giving a bright smile.

What? Is she talking about me. I'm a boy, a boy. What has this woman told you. This defamation and slander. I demand restitution.

"Excuse me Ms, but I'm a boy, a BOY. Not a girl. Ask my father." I reply

I look to my father, All eyes are on him. Hopefully he'll sort this all out. Oh no. The look on my mothers face. It's like she's daring him to agree with me. You can do this, you feel great, you can win this. I keep chanting this over and over. Hoping that this might somewhat negate the inevitable.

"Shiro Kawa is my daughter" he whimpers

"Excuse me husband, I don't think I've heard you. Speak clearly"

"I said Shiro Kawa is my daughter"

The look on my father's face is so pathetic. My mother's face looks proud and happy, grinning from ear to ear. Father... you goddess-damn defeatist.

"Anyway, I'm here to discuss your contract. You will receive £110 for every page drawn and 9.5% royalty when your book is sold. This contract will last a year. At the end of the year it will be renewed. This is so that the amount of money you receive will increase after each year. However, this is dependent on whether or not your manga receives a good response." Kaori states

"What is my anga does bad? Will it be cancelled" I say, tilting my head to the right." Also isn't £110 a little too musch. I'm not complaining but I ant to know why so much."  Rio says (spelling on purpose to make him sound cute to get her off guard)

"The reason is because my boss believes that this manga would do well and that in the future, we will be exclusive partners. And if your manga gets cancelled you could try your luck at another company. But between me and you. I think that this manga is doing great." She replies giving a customer service smile.

There is a total of 519 chapters worth of Dragon ball, with the first 194 being adapted into Dragon ball and the 325 being adapted into Dragon ball Z. The first chapter of dragon ball was 30 pages. That alone is £3,300 but is also an exception. Let's say the average amount of pages was 14 per chapter for the whole of Dragon Ball series(194-1 so 193). I would make £297,220, without royalties, minimum. The Dragon Ball Z chapters also consisted of say 14 pages. I would earn £500,500, without royalties, minimum. I would have to pump out one chapter every week for their magazine and they would adapt every 12.1 chapters into a volume meaning each volume has 192 pages in it. Not bad. I cannot even imagine what the royalties are going to be. And i could easily handle the drawing. Thanks to my adaptable body, I could easily finish a chapter in a day(I don't have to story board and stuff. With memory retention, I can cheat a lot of this.) . This would only decrease as my body becomes more adapted to drawing. So, there is really no downside. Plus, I do not have to waste time story boarding and stuff so that cuts out a lot of it. And all I must do is send in a chapter to make it into their weekly magazine. So, it's 58 chapters per year. Perfect, I knew memory retention was a good choice. However, I do want more royalty.

"Ms, can I get 18% royalties and I'll sign the contract right away."

"Hmmm. Let me make a call and see what I can do." Says Kaori walking out the room. Minutes later she returns. "Okay seems like that's acceptable know time to go over the Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah" [Author goes into the contract, stating a lot of things. Not important.]

As Ms Okuma Kaori leaves, I feel accomplished. With this I'll easily be able to afford my endeavours. But I feel that she thinks I'm a girl. I need to fix that. Picture won't help. If I send them, she might get arrested. I might need to get my birth certificate. But mother locked that down tight. Problem for another day. I'll tell them about the light novel in a few years. Let me create a collection. I doubt anyone will come up with these ideas. And if they do, I'll sue them. Tell them they ripped of my idea and show the a few of the novels. I'll definitely win. Plus, I have my mother. They regret releasing her.

These word mean something. But I'm not sure what. This is my first novel published. And I have very little clue on what to do.

On the set of the highly popular tv talk show, meet the people. The host, Benjamin Jenkings, also known as BJ, began speaking to the audience and camera. Bj sat in his chair, "Thank you! Everyone that came out today I hope you're in for a treat. We have a special appearance on the show today!" 

The audience behind the cameras cheered out excitedly. Bj grinned holding up a collection of manga's in his hands."Our special guest is born straight out of the UK, and yet became a widely known mangaka around the world. Her most popular manga being "He's The One!" Let's welcome Alexa Sabor!"

Alexa, who was now 22years old, awaited just off the set. When BJ announced her to come out, she smiled and walked out waving at the crowd who was going wild. Alexa stood 5'2", with long blonde curly hair and her noticeable ocean blue eyes. She had on a pair of glasses that went well with her black v-neck long sleeve and plaid skirt. Alexa smiled brightly and sat down crossing her legs after hugging BJ. 

Being excited, BJ didn't hesitate to begin questioning," So Alexa! How did you accomplish being a mangaka?" Alexa smiled and shifted a bit before speaking," Well when I was young, I was going through a hard time coping with the fact that my parents were going to have triplets. A special friend of mine introduced me to anime and manga, and I fell in love with the art. So I began to draw." 

Alexa continued," I was embarrassed at first, I didn't want anyone to see it, but then my friend who introduced me to manga saw it, and he wouldn't shut up about how good it was. That led me to study in Japan's famous manga school."

BJ clapped and so did the audience, "Where did the idea for your manga come from?"

Alexa smiled before scratching the back of her head." Well, it's basically life. Even though the names are different, I'm pretty sure a lot of fans already pointed out the fact it matches some events that actually happened; which is true! I based it off of my mother and father. Their story has stuck with me for a long time."Alexa finished with a smile.

BJ looked out to the crowd," it seems the audience has some questions! Let's see what they are wondering about!" Alexa smiled nodding, "okay. Sounds wonderful." Alexa looked out to the crowd pointing to someone.

Crowd member: " You said the manga is based on your parents? So your mom's father is actually a mob boss?" 

Alexa uncrossed her legs putting her hands on her lap," Well… my grandfather runs a loan franchise company. A lot of people see him as a mob boss, but I might have tweaked that a little." Alexa laughed it off. She wouldn't tell them the truth anyway. She couldn't get her family in trouble. Alexa pointed to another crowd member.

Crowd Member 2: "In the book, your childhood friend is named Brendon? Is he real? And are you two still friends?"

Alexa smiled, "Yes! He's real. We don't see each other much in person because of his busy schedule. We usually video chat or talk on the phone. As for who he really is… I don't know if it's a good idea to give that away, "Alexa smirked knowingly. The crowd burst into questions and shouts. 

BJ held up his hand trying to calm everyone. One crowd member spoke above, "What about the triplets!? That's where the manga is at the moment." Alexa held up her hands, and the studio went quiet."The triplets are real! They are Thirteen now. They are actually on set! Daemon, Felix, and Hope, They are wonderful and really talented! I'll let you guys meet them later." She said brushing her hair behind her ear.

Alexa pointed to take another question," if the triplets are thirteen doesn't that mean it's been about 15 years? Shouldn't you be 21!?" The person asked confused lightly. Alexa smiled, "Well my birthday actually just passed three days ago, which is how I'm 22!" she giggled lightly. 

Everyone in the studio looked around confused as the studio lights dimmed. BJ looked at the crowd, "everyone stay ca-" he was cut off by the sound of happy birthday being sung. Alexa smiled turning her head seeing the triplets come on stage followed by Alex and Kaia who held the hands of Stella and Serenity, the five-year-old twins. Lastly, from behind everyone Bretton emerged with a lit cake and a big grin. 

Alexa smiled big standing up as Bretton walked closer, the crowd cheering loudly. Bretton changed his genre of music and went into Rock. His band was the top pop-rock band in the UK and second in the US. His singles were steadily staying in the top ten. 

Bretton stopped in front of Alexa and smiled big, "make a wish." Alexa smiled and closed her eyes for a second before blowing out the candles. Bretton smiled and set the cake to the side, hugging Alexa. When they pulled back, Bretton grabbed her shirt leaning in to speak in the microphone."Also! I'm Brendon from the book," he let the mic go and grinned at Alexa. The crowd erupted in cheers. BJ looked into the camera as the lights came on, "Well you all got the scoop here today, tune in with us tomorrow for the pop girl group DNA!" The broadcast ended well. 

Alexa smiled and grabbed Brettons arm pulling him to the crowd to do autographs. After they all left the studio and the whole family went out to eat. Alexa sat near Bretton, as they ate happily. With this kind of speed, even the most hardworking manga artist would willingly admit that they were defeated, let alone the procrastination master - Yoshihiro Togashi. The same style, the similar dialogues, even the story also followed seamlessly from chapter 360. And most importantly, it was already translated into Chinese. Because of the health problem, the series was still on hiatus. The original copy might really be at the original artist's house. But who would have this kind of skill to steal it?

There isn't much of thing but it could be used to train in singing, dancing, and recording. There is also a place to rest and play a game inside. 

"Is this the place?" Yukari asked. She was quite surprised since it wasn't that far from both Ousai Academy High School and Fujiyama High School. 

"Yes, let's check it out," Yuuki invited. 

Uomi and Yukari walked together and followed him. 

Three of them entered the building and saw Rossweisse and Eri were there talking to each other. 

"Yuuki," Rossweisse greeted him. 

"You're quite early here," Yuuki said while looking at Eri. 

"I'm a professional, I need to do my job seriously," Eri answered. 

"Who is she?" Uomi asked curiously. 

"Hello, my name is Eri Kisaki, I'm his lawyer," Eri introduced herself to both of them. She took out her card name and gave it to them, "You can call me when he tries to commit sexual harassment, I can sue him right away." 

Yukari looked at her with a surprised expression. 

"Don't worry, I don't need your name card," Uomi said. 

"Why?" Eri asked. 

"Well, I'm the one who usually sexually harasses him," Uomi answered. 

Eri turned her head toward him and looked at him asking for confirmation. 

Yuuki could only nod in response since this conversation was just too troublesome for him to enter. 

Eri looked at her and said, "You can keep it, maybe I can help you when you are being sued by him." 

Uomi realized her mistake and nodded, "Thank you, I will use it when I need it." 

Eri had a lot of clients and also met a lot of strange people. She nodded at her with a professional smile. 

"Have they come here?" Yuuki decided to ask whether the K-On Group had come here. 

Rossweisse nodded, "They're on the 2nd-floor playing game right now." 

"Oh," Yuuki nodded, "Let's go meet them."

Ritsu, who played a racing game, also knew that she needed to turn her car to the right but it was very hard to win this racing game. 

"Hahahaha," Yui was laughing while reading a manga. She took a potato chip on her side and ate it slowly. 

"Hiks...Hiks...." Mio blushed and looked very shy when she read a manga that was drawn by Ruki. She had never read this kind of teenage love or ecchi manga before. She was wondering whether she could bring it back later.  

Sawako wasn't that much better since she was reading his Re: Zero since it was her first time to see this kind of novel. She was also wondering what she would do when she was reincarnated into a different world. 

They heard the door open and turn their heads. They had a different reaction but Mio had the most exaggerated reaction. She tried to hide the book but she messed up and opened the most ecchi part of this book. 

Mio was just too embarrassed to do anything right now.

Yuuki entered the room and saw five people there looking very comfortable playing around. He somehow felt complicated when he saw them. He looked at the manga that dropped on the ground and saw it was the part where the main male character pushed the main heroine down. 

"Ah, Yuuki, help me to win this game!!" Ritsu who saw him hurriedly asked.

"Yes, this game is hard," Mugi also shook her head. 

"Yuuki, can I bring this manga later?" Yui asked. 

"Me too, can I bring this novel?" Sawako asked. 

"Aawawawaw," Mio was just too flustered to say anything. She wanted to take the book away but it was too late. 

Eri, Rossweisse, and Yukari also felt weird with this scene since they saw that they were too comfortable. 

Uomi didn't say anything but picked the book that dropped on the ground. She was a bit curious about the scene in the manga where the man pushed the heroine.

Yuuki nodded, "Alright, we can play later since we need to talk about our future first."

Claire arrived earlier than expected at the store, allowing both Rei and Jin to reconvene once again in the conference room instance. Rei handed Claire the documents to take a look at Studio Mashi's expenditure records, and she was quite shocked at what she was looking at.
"Isn't this one of the few more popular animation studios in Japan? Are they really in such a dire state?" Claire asked. Both men were surprised that Grandma Yuan's secretary knew a thing or two about the studio. The serious women certainly did not seem the type to watch anime.
"Let's say that their previous CEO was not really the cleanest person in the studio. He had been embezzling a large portion of money before he ran away. Not many know about the situation since they've done their best to cover it up. I happen to have a connection there, and he begged me to help the studio. They've been struggling ever since, and the movie I am making is currently the only project they are working on and is somewhat their only lifeline."
"So you're expanding into movies now, Jin? That is a very risky move to play, even more so considering that this one's an overseas studio." Claire warned as she took some time to study the numbers after taking a brief. Unsurprisingly, Claire confirmed that the studio was bound to fail without a LOT of additional budget coming in.
"I am not too sure about the Japanese laws with regards to overseas investment, but saving this studio is nigh impossible. Even if you inject in extra cash, it's less than certain that you will break even. You can forget about seeing any profit from it unless the upcoming movie that Rei is mentioning will become a multimillion dollar hit. And I'm talking USD, not yuan or yen. It is very highly likely that you will experience a loss." Claire concluded.
"What about if I hypothetically create a movie studio and hire those peeps instead?" Jin asked
Claire shrugged at that particular idea but humoured him nonetheless: "I still can't see you incur anything but losses. Nevertheless, that way you won't have to worry that they waste the money and you will have control over the studio. Whatever the case, it's not your responsibility to save any random Tom, Dick and erm in this case, Sato-san from their dying business. If you plan on doing that, I can only conclude that Grandma Yuan had misplaced her faith in you as someone unfit to make sound business decisions."
Rei felt devastated by the sound of her analysis.
"Rei, are you able to get Studio Mashi to send over the incomplete work? Maybe we can still finish from there and publish it ourselves?" Jin suggested yet the manga artist wasn't on board.
"I am choosing Studio Mashi because of their prestige in details and plot as well as their dedication to complete the project. I am not going to hand it over it to some Tom, Dick and in this case, Xiao Ming to complete their work." Rei was fully adamant on it.
"Then my advice to you, Jin, is to not take this deal. You are walking in a financial death trap because of your friend. Let me repeat that you have no obligation to fulfil his request." Claire did not know the whole situation, but she had been through enough to see that trying to save Studio Mashi would be a big mistake.
Contrary to her appearance, she did watch a few of their movies while younger and loved their characters. She would definitely be sad to know that the studio might have to close down due to bad internal office politics. However, that did not mean she would allow Jin to make a wrong business decision to save it.
"Unfortunately, I do owe him an obligation to save the studio, and that is why I also need your help." Jin became extremely shameless when asking for Claire's help.
"Why should I? I have enough on my plate as is. My only helping you are limited to things connected to Grandma Yuan. This does not extend to helping you solve the problems of your friends." Claire replied until Jin dangled his trump card in front of her.
"In return, I can let you learn more about the System. Perhaps it can enhance your skills and traits too." Jin said out loud, and Claire was dumbfounded. How could he offer something like that so casually to an outsider?
"Watch your words. I have no idea what you are talking about." Claire pretended not to hear it until Jin had clarified the white elephant in the room.
"He is already under the influence of the System, and to be honest, he isn't a friend. More of a colleague." Jin did not say much, especially when 'controlling' isn't the best of words to convince someone to join them.
"What? But judging from the conversation we had, he seemed to be in a different profession from you. Movie directing? Some animation artist?" Claire was getting frustrated that someone that simple was able to be exposed to the System. Why not her?
"I am a Manga Artist, and I actually hailed from another world. You know like those transmigration fantasies?" Rei decided to speak the truth out and instead, incurred the opposite effect. Claire could not make any sense from this. Was this just some sort of out of season April Fool's joke or was this after all an elaborate plot to get her to join Jin?

"You see, if we show you his works, it will expose even more things about this particular System I have. Until you give me your word and sign a temporary contract, I am not allowed to give you any more information." Jin tried to explain kindly as he had vastly underestimated Claire's reaction.
The secretary sighed as she picked up the just materialised temporary contract and read the terms briefly. She quickly realised that there were many underlying meanings to the contract's term.
"I see this contract has been vetted by a well versed lawyer. There's a lot of double meanings in the terms despite its outward simplicity." Even if that was the case, she was innately and insanely curious about this particular System that Jin was hiding.
Grandma Yuan had always kept a mysterious façade whenever this topic was breached, and it always made Claire feel left out when Yuan and Jin talked about it. She desired to know what made the System so special that it could have enabled a boy with seemingly normal qualifications to become so outstanding in a mere matter of months.
"Fine, I will sign but only on the condition that you limit this to today. If you presumably can really brainwash me, then I will accept the specified consequences." Claire demanded, so Jin overwrote the time limit on the contract limiting it to midnight of January 1st. Upon signing, Claire felt that something entered past her entire body as if something took a long look into her soul.

I'm playing with the swivel chair when Candy interrupted me.

"Drei, since you've got nothing better to do come with me." I didn't look at her and continued swinging myself on the swivel chair.

"Hmmm....why?"

"Let's go on a date." I immediately stopped and looked at her.

"What?"

"You heard it well prez. It's not the kind of date that you're thinking though."

"A tour around school?"

"Nope. Buying materials for the first year's acquintance party."

"Let the faculty staff--" she pulled my hand, trying to make me stand up.

"They gave us a whole day to buy materials, come on, I wanna buy a manga book!" She let go of me and placed both of her hands on her hip.

"So that's your real purpose for accepting that bothersome request."

"Come on, please hon?" I stopped doing anything and stood up.

"Hon? You seriously called me hon?"-me

"Please, hon?" she said, being puppy like.

"Argh. Fine." I said and intertwined my hand with hers.

"But don't do that again, it's dangerous." I said as we walked out of the student council office.

It's a good thing that my gun cannot be detected by this detector they have in this mall. We went straight for food.

"Can I rent an employee here? My fiancée seems to have an interest on a guy named Forest." I paid for the food.

"Certainly not sir." she gave me the receipt, my change, and a number (the one with a stand) that helps them to look for whose order it is. She prepared a few food available at the moment and told me to wait for my order on my table. I picked up the tray and went to Candy.

"I'll get the spoons and forks." she stood up as I sat down and went back later on.

"What's with the smile?" I asked.

"The hunk I told you earlier already has a girlfriend and that gf of his is the cashier right there." she pointed at the cashier...oh she's the same cashier as earlier.

"So what are you happy about?" I asked while eating some of her fries.

"Hey that's mine! I'm happy because my ship is sailing! Those two are great combinations."

"Uh-huh." I said as I picked another fries, dipped it in her sundae, and ate it.

"Seriously, you should've bought fries and a sundae. Uhm...I overheard. You killed the bully?" she hesitantly asked.

"Yeah. He's annoying." I guess she's still afraid of me.

"How did you kill him?" this time, I looked at her. And I was a bit confused on her imaginary sparkly eyes and on how excited she is.

"Later. You might not be able to eat."

"It's that brutal?! Oh geez! I'm so excited!" she shrieked softly and quietly. How cute. I slightly pinched her cheeks.

"You're really so cute." I said out loud. She blushed a bit.

Our food came in and none of us talked while eating.

We bought the materials after eating. We put those things in the car and went back to the mall to shop.

"Where the hell can you find a manga here? As I recall, bookstores don't sell those kind of things." I said while scanning thw whole area.

"There! They sell anime merchs and that includes mangas!" She pulled me and went inside the shop.

"What's with this guy with a strawhat?" I asked while looking at a keychain.

"Oh, that's Monkey D. Luffy from an anime series called One Piece."

"Is it the one that never ends?"

"Haha. Maybe yes. It already has 900 episodes." she said as she picked up a manga.

"What's with mangas though? Didn't know you're an otaku (anime addict)."

"Well now you know. Mangas are like novels. I'm interested in these kinds of things." I looked at the manga that she's holding. Fifty Murders of Mine is the title.....

"Mangas have pictures right?" I asked. She nodded. Then that means she likes seeing murders and bloody corpses? No wonder her eyes sparkled when I mentioned that I killed someone.

"Let me hold those for you."-me

"Oh thank you." she gave me the three mangas. I read the title  of the other two.

"Psychotic Stalker and...Crimes of A Butcher." I smiled and chuckled. Ahh, how I love this lady.

"What are you looking at?" oh, I didn't notice that I'm already staring at her.

"I'm just wondering where you got the money to buy these expensive books. As far as I remember, Yulo (Cane's bro) isn't from a rich family. Ahh...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you."

"It's okay, I want you to know about me anyway." *thump* Oh geez.

"My brother gave me money just to buy stuffs like these. He knows that I like mangas. Where did he got the money? From killing people. His reward is big so it isn't a problem. He's really cool!"

"You're okay with him killing those people?" I asked out of curiosity. I know she likes murders but it's not enough of a reason.

"I'm cool with it. People die everyday. As long as he only kills the bad guys, I won't hate him. I love him so much that I can't wait a single say of not talking to him after a fight." I patted her head and ruffled her hair for a bit.

"Hey hey! Not the hair." she glared at me after saying that. I just chuckled.

"Let's look for more." I said and we continued shopping. We went back to school after lunch.

"I'll be at the studio. Prepare for a meeting." I said to Candy and she nodded. She went back  to the SCO and I went to the studio.

"Good afternoon. Can I make an announcement?" I asked the president of the visual arts club who's sitting pretty on a swivel chair.

"Sure." she said. I rearranged the position of the microphone and she arranged those buttons, whatever it is called.

"Good afternoon students. Sorry for disturbing your classes. I request all of the officers and members of the student council to be in the conference room of the SCO right now. Please don't walk like a turtle. Thank you."

I sat down on a chair here and took out my phone.

"Hey."

"Yes?" I said without looking at her.

"Are the rumours true?"

"What exactly? There are so many rumours about me so it's hard to determine which."

"Seriously. It's about the relationship between you and the secretary."

"What relationship?"

"Couple."

"Hmm..yup. She's my fiancée."

"Oh...girls will cry."

"Including you?" I looked at her. She turned off the power switch connected to the equipments here in the studio. 

"Don't make me laugh. I'm not an idiot to fall for a murderer."

"But you fell back then right? Ms. ex?" yeah, she's my ex girlfriend who dumped me after knowing the truth. I couldn't kill her because I care for her family.

"Argh. I'm stupid and naive back then. I swear I'll find those freaking evidences and make you go to jail." I stood up.

"I dare you Darlene Alfonse." I was about to turn my back on her but she spoke.

"If I can't make you admit your crimes, I'll use that fiancée of yours." I glared at her and looked intensely at her.

"Just because I can't kill you does not mean that I can't hurt you. One wrong move and I'll lock you forever in a torture chamber." she's shaking but she still spoke.

"L-let me see you try." I smiled like a cheshire cat and laughed in a sarcastic way.

"Let's see." I left her and went back to the face of a president.

"Aku tahu," Kata Seiji. "Dia adalah musuh yang kuat bagiku, dan aku akan melakukan yang terbaik."
"Selama kamu menyadarinya."
Setelah Seiji pulang ke rumah, dia mengembalikan gambar tersebut pada Shika dan menjelaskan apa yang terjadi.
Shika memperlihatkan ekspresi bingung setelah dia mengetahui bahwa Seiji akan berkompetisi melawan artis yang telah di rekrut.
"Maafkan aku, kak Seiji. Semua karena keegoisanku…"
"Apa yang kamu katakan? Aku berjanji padamu dan bukan kamu yang satu-satunya menginginkannya, ini adalah sesuatu yang ingin aku lakukan juga." Seiji tersenyum. "Aku akan melakukan yang terbaik untuk meraih kemenangan."
"…Semoga berhasil kak."
"Ya!"
Seiji segera bersiap untuk mulai menggambar.
Dia berhadapan dengan sebuah kertas gambar kosong dan mulai mempertimbangkan apa yang ingin dia gambar.
Gambar tersebut akan berisi karakter utama yang melawan musuh. Khususnya, adegan yang melibatkan sebuah pertarungan sengit menggunakan senjata.
Manusia, pakaian, gerakan, senjata, ekspresi dan latar…Seiji harus dengan hati-hati mempertimbangkan semuanya.
Setelah waktu berlalu, dia merasa bahwa dia membayangkan cukup banyak detail, tapi masih ada sesuatu yang kurang.
Benar, dia harus menambahkan tokoh utama wanita dalam gambar tersebut!
'Adik perempuan' hanyalah penonton dalam pertarungan ini. Secara logika, mungkin tidak masalah jika tidak menambahkannya dalam gambar. Sebenarnya, bisa dikatakan bahwa menggambarnya disini mungkin akan mengalihkan fokus dari 'kakak' dan 'musuh'.
Tapi, Seiji ingin menambahkan dia dalam gambar, dan membuat kesan bahwa dia bukan hanya penonton belaka, untuk menambahkan misteri dari akhir pada buku pertama.
Tokoh utama pria dan lawannya adalah fokus utama dalam gambar, sedangkan tokoh utama wanita tidak boleh mendapatkan perhatian lebih dalam gambar. Dia perlu menggambarnya sedemikian rupa sehingga dia tidak berada di garis depan, namun saat orang lain melihatnya lebih dekat. Dia terlihat tidak wajar.
Dengan begini, penampilan tokoh utama wanita dalam gambar membutuhkan elemen tambahan yang tidak mempengaruhi fokus utama, untuk menambahkan kesan misterius dalam gambar.
Seiji berusaha untuk membayangkan bagaimana melakukannya dengan membutuhkan waktu cukup lama untuk memikirkannya.
Setelah dia selesai membayangkan apa yang dia inginkan, dia mengambil pensil gambar dan mulai menggambar di kertas kosong.
Saat makan siang.
Seiji melanjutkan menggambar setelah makan siang.
Saat itu, dia menerima sebuah telepon.
Itu adalahPeach-Sensei!
"Aku mendengar apa yang terjadi dari Saki…apa kamu butuh bantuanku?" Tanya mangaka itu.
"Jika Peach-Sensei membantuku, itu adalah sebuah kecurangan." Seiji terkekeh dan berkata, "Tapi dalam kompetisi, mungkin diperbolehkan menggunakan keuntungan yang kamu dapat. Kalau begitu, Sensei, bisakah Sensei melihat gambarku dan memberikan saran untuk itu?"
"Aku akan senang sekali." Mayuzumi tersenyum.
Kemudian, Seiji memfoto gambar yang sedang dia kerjakan saat ini dan menunjukkannya pada Mayuzumi.
"Ini sangat bagus, Haruta-kun… kapan kamu mulai belajar menggambar?" Mayuzumi memujinya setelah melihat foto yang dia kirimkan.
"Sekitar dua bulan lalu, aku mulai berlatih sendiri setiap hari di rumah…" Itu adalah jawaban Seiji.
Mangaka itu terbelalak terkejut.
"Dua bulan… kamu berlatih seorang diri, tanpa belajar, atau pergi ke studio seni, atau tidak ada orang yang mengajarimu?
"Ya."
Mayuzumi tertegun mendengar ini.
Dia bisa menggambar hingga seperti ini, hanya dengan belajar seorang diri selama dua bulan!?
Dia sangat terkejut hingga tidak tahu harus berkata apa selama beberapa saat.
"Sensei, ada apa?" Seiji terkejut dengan Mayuzumi yang terdiam.
"Haruta-kun.. jadilah seorang mangaka!" Mayuzumi tidak bisa menahan diri untuk mengatakan ini.
"Er?"
"Eh?" Mayuzumi tertegun dengan apa yang baru saja dia katakan. Dia kemudian membutuhkan beberapa detik untuk menata akal sehatnya. "Haruta-kun, kamu bisa menulis cerita dengan sangat baik, dan sekarang aku mengetahui bahwa kamu juga bagus dalam menggambar, kamu pasti bisa menjadi seorang mangaka yang luar biasa…bahkan lebih dari aku!"
Seiji tidak tahu berkata apa.
"Aku senang mendengar ini, Sensei…tapi jika untuk menggambar sebuah manga, aku rasa kemampuanku masih belum memadai," Jawabnya.
"Dengan bakatmu ini, selama kami belajar secara profesional selama beberapa waktu, itu pasti cukup," Mayuzumi berkata dengan serius.
"Aku saat ini belum tertarik menggambar manga dan aku akan fokus pada kompetisi kecil untuk menggambar ceritaku sendiri." Seiji menatap langit-langit kamarnya. "Aku akan mencobanya nanti. Aku menyukai manga dan juga aku ingin membuat manga sendiri di masa depan!"
"Aku sangat menantikan manga buatanmu Haruta-kun. Aku harap aku tidak akan menunggu terlalu lama." Mayuzumi tersenyum.
"Tidak akan lama."
Saat ini, fokus pada ceritanya. Untuk manga…dia akan mempertimbangkan ini lebih serius setelah dia meningkatkan status [Seni] miliknya. Itu adalah keinginan Seiji.
Dia kemudian mengubah topik kembali pada gambar sisipan yang dia gambar, meminta pendapat yang lebih terperinci.
Mayuzumi memberi saran bagian apa yang harus diubah, dan dia menuliskan semua saran yang diberikan padanya. Kemudian, dia bertanya mengenai bagian yang tidak dia mengerti.
Keduanya berbincang cukup lama.
Setelah telepon berakhir, Seiji merasa kemampuannya meningkat dalam hal gambar sisipan dan dengan tulus berterima kasih atas petunjuk dari Peach-Sensei.
Dia menuangkan seluruh usahanya ke dalam gambar.

Masih ada waktu sekitar satu setengah jam hingga batas akhir kompetisi menggambar.
Shouri Tanaka membawa karya miliknya yang telah selesai dan tiba di sebuah kafe kopi yang mereka setujui.
Dia memesan secangkir kopi tanpa gula atau susu dan meminumnya, rasa pahit itu menyebar dalam pikirannya.
Dia cukup gugup. Dia merasa seolah sedang membawa draf manga baru pada editor.
Ini tidak seperti dia akan menerbitkannya jika dia memenangkan kontes kecil ini, 'Ini hanyalah gambar sisipan untuk sebuah light novel, jadi kenapa aku sangat gugup?' Tanaka menghela napas dalam hati.
Dia percaya diri dengan hasil gambarnya sendiri yang dia lakukan dengan baik. Meskipun dia tidak bisa membuatnya lebih detil karena batasan waktu yang singkat, dia sudah menganggapnya cukup bagus.
Dia tidak tahu sebagus apa pemuda SMA itu bisa menggambar…
Tanaka tidak bisa menggambarkan perasaannya saat teringat tatapan mata pemuda itu.
Jika dia harus menggambarkannya, apakah itu iri? Dia iri pada pemuda yang bisa menunjukkan tatapan seperti itu dan keteguhan hatinya.
Tanaka berumur 22 tahun, dan dia belumlah tua. Namun, saat dia membandingkan dirinya sendiri dengan pemuda itu, dia merasa dia mulai menua.
Tanaka meminum kopinya saat dia menunggu dalam diam dengan perasaan bercampur aduk dalam hatinya.
Sepuluh menit kemudian, dia melihat penulis muda dan editor cantik itu memasuki kafe kopi bersama.
Tanaka melambaikan tangan pada mereka agar mereka dapat menyadarinya.
"Maaf membuat anda menunggu, Demon Soldier-Sensei."
"Tidak masalah….Saya hanya menunggu beberapa menit, Shore-Sensei."
Seiji dan Saki duduk berseberangan dengan Tanaka, seorang pelayan menghampiri mereka dan keduanya memesan secangkir kopi.
"Sejujurnya, saya sangat gugup sekarang." Tanaka tiba-tiba merasa terdorong untuk mengatakan sesuatu saat melihat mereka, sehingga dia menerimanya. "Saya merasa seolah sedang menunjukkan sebuah draf manga pada editor… Meskipun ini hanya untuk sebuah gambar sisipan light novel... Tidak, saya tidak seharusnya berkata seperti itu. Maafkan saya, saya baru saja terdengar sangat sombong. Yang saya maksud adalah, saya tidak menduga akan sangat serius dengan pekerjaan ini."
Tanaka tertawa pada dirinya sendiri.
Tawanya dipenuhi dengan perasaan yang bercampur aduk.
"Saya menyukai novel anda, tapi saya saat ini berkompetisi melawan anda, saya merasa bahwa situasi ini sedikit aneh. Saya tidak seharusnya melakukan sesuatu seperti ini… saat memikirkannya lagi, saya terlalu egois. Saya seharusnya percaya pada kemampuan anda setelah melihat gambar anda dan seharusnya saya mundur.
"Tapi, saya masih meminta sebuah kompetisi…apa yang sebenarnya saya pikirkan? Bahkan saya sendiri tidak memahaminya."
Seiji menatap Tanaka. "Saya rasa apa yang anda pikirkan cukup sederhana, Demon Soldier-Sensei, anda hanya tidak ingin kalah."
