Zion has always had the dream of making his own manga and selling them, he always had looked up to the people who had made manga. He eventually went on to graduate from an art college and open up his own manga store. He knew that this was a bad idea and he should get a publisher but he didn't care and just wanted to write manga he could always find a new job if he needed to. 

He had bought a little shop in a area that had a good amount of people come through and as he had finally walked into the shop he suddenly feel into darkness. He was scared and had no idea what was going on but then when he opened his eyes he found himself in a much larger store than before.

Smiling to himself James kept reading till he no longer heard the soft buzz of the Prodigy System telling him that his proficiency was rising.

He brought his proficiency panel up and discovered a very important thing.

'Why is the Art of Manipulating capped at 80%?' Thought James to himself, he knew that in the manga Lelouch's main power wasn't the Geass, the thing that saved him from countless bad situations was his silver tongue and his intelligence so it couldn't have capped at 80% as this wasn't even a basic skill.

'Let me try this for myself' Thought James as he went to the store's clerk while preparing himself to use for the first time a skill given by the Prodigy System on others.

Putting his most charming smile James told the store's clerk "Good afternoon, I'll take this manga called 'Code Geass'. I heard that today the store has a discounted price for all mangas as they don't sell as much as the other things in the store, such a shame really."

"Really? Nobody told me about a discount today, we have discounts in comics just on Wednesdays as it's a slow day for us. Code Geass is one of the favorites in the store, it's one of my favorites too" The store clerk responded with a polite smile.

'Shit, I think I tried to be 'suave' on my own and I didn't let the skill do its job, let me try this again' Thought James as he felt a little embarrassed but didn't show it in his face.

"My apologies, I may have heard the wrong information. This is really a loss of face for me, how about I treat you with some pastries as soon as you finish your work here and you tell me a little about the next volumes of Code Geass, who knows I may even buy them all" Said James as the words flowed through his mouth.

"It has been some time since someone tried to flirt with me. You know what? I'm in, the name's Stephanie, a pleasure to meet you." The store's clerk that now I know is called Stephanie told me while she had a warm smile on her face.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful lady. I assume you finish working at 7 so I'll be waiting for you at the manga section, we'll go to a nearby cafeteria that I know its opened all night" James told Stephanie as he smiled, picked up his Code Geass manga and went to the manga section again.

'That didn't go as well as I wanted, I need to start trusting the Prodigy System more. I want to know everything this life has to offer and I will not let my doubts hold me down' Thought James as he knew that a part of himself still thinks that he's in a dream.

Shaking his head he brought back the Code Geass manga and put it in its place, picking up another manga called 'One Punch-Man' and started reading it.

What he didn't notice is that a new skill appeared with the other two skills he already had.

The day went by quite fast since I didn't have to avoid talking or think too much about what to say. Being in my body for the first time in two days during class was relieving.
When Narumi-san suddenly approached me that morning and told me that we had already decided to go to the store together, I immediately knew it was Kozue's doing. I would've said yes, too, but the weird thing was that she didn't tell me about it even though we chatted the previous night. Though, I couldn't complain because I, also, forgot to tell her about Tsuga-san.
I called Yoshimura-san and told him to wait for my call to pick me up. Narumi-san and I met outside the school and left for the nearby town.
"Are you excited about the Egg Hunt?" Narumi-san asked me as we walked along.
"It sounds fun," I replied.
Though, I only noticed that there were posters everywhere in the school because one of the teachers talked about it today, I thought.
"Have you participated before?" she wondered.
"No. They didn't have many events at my previous schools."
"I see. Can I ask why you transferred here? Especially in the last year, that's not very common."
"I lost interest in the classes," I answered. "Most subjects were related to money. How to make more money. How to make the most of the money. History about money…"
"That sounds weird. They didn't have other subjects?"
"Only essential ones," I responded and took a long pause, unsure of if I should continue. Narumi-san stared at me since I opened my mouth to say more, so I kept going.
"I, also, got tired of fake people. They only cared about money and ignored anything that wasn't beneficial for them. But I can't blame them."
Narumi-san looked at me with furrowed brows. "Sorry if I asked too much," she apologized.
"It's fine. I got used to it," I said. "At least people in this school look truly interested in the classes. Well, most of them. They act like themselves and not as a sharp businessperson."
"I'm happy to hear that," she smiled.
Silence encompassed the environment for a few seconds. Not even cars drove by. But something felt strange; as if someone was following me. I looked behind and saw no one. I was used to that feeling.
We stepped into the store after a few minutes of walking. I stood still and stared at how many people crowded the small aisles filled with mangas. They were mostly students.
There are so many, I thought.
"Is something wrong?" Narumi-san asked me.
"No. It's just my first time in a manga store. I usually have someone that buys them for me," I replied.
"Really? Well, you're here to buy them for you now, so what will you buy? There are collectibles, too!"
"I'll look around first," I answered, trying not to drown under so many options.
"Sure. I'll go with you so you don't get lost," she giggled.
"Is it that easy to get lost in here?" I asked, concerned.
"I was kidding. But it kinda is," she responded and pulled on my arm. "Come on, let's start here."
She touched me.
We still don't know if I can swap bodies with someone other than Kozue, I thought.
I sensed a pair of eyes on me as Narumi-san dragged me deeper into the store, but I couldn't turn around to make sure if it was just my imagination or not; I knew it wasn't.
"Oh, I didn't ask what genres you like," she said as she stopped pulling me.
"I like anything as long as I like the story," I replied.
"We can take a look here, then. Fantasy!" she shouted. "It's been pretty hot lately."
"Mostly because of the anime adaptation of Spear Hero."
"You know it, too? Have you watched it?"
"Only the first episode. It was interesting enough to make me read the manga."
"I know, right? It made me read it, too!"
Narumi-san kept talking about it, but someone behind her made my eyes deviate to the other side of the aisle. They quickly walked away.
"Araki-kun?" Narumi-san called and turned around.
"Sorry," I apologized. "I thought it was someone I knew."
"Oh, I see," she replied. "So, do you want to buy the manga?"
"I already own it," I responded.
"Really? Okay. Then, what about this one—"
An uproarious growl resounded in my ear, followed by prolonged silence. I stared at Narumi-san, whose face was red.
"I-I think I need the bathroom," she sputtered and ran toward the other side of the store.
I took advantage of the situation to investigate who had been following me since we left school. I headed to the next corridor and found who I expected.
"Hello, Kawahara-san," I greeted.
"I told you to call me Kawahara," she replied. "How did you recognize me through my disguise?"
"The long, grayish, ponytail coming out of your cap," I answered. "Also, your glasses, backpack, and school uniform."
"Understood. I will hide better next time," she told herself.
"There shouldn't be a next time!" I exclaimed. "Why are you following us?"
"I'm not following you. I just don't like people knowing I read manga," she responded, still looking down at the manga on her hands.
"Kawahara-senpai, you're here early!" a guy with a blue apron approached. "My shift just started and you're already looking for mangas."
Did he call her senpai? They know each other? I wondered.
The apron guy looked down at the manga Kawahara-san held. "Oh, you're interested in romance now?"
"It's like trying to play a stealth game in Expert Plus mode," Kawahara-san sighed to herself. "I'm wandering around. I'm not searching for anything specific."
"Ah, got it! Ask me if you want any recommendations!" the guy smiled. He then finally noticed me. "Oh, you're the rich guy that just transferred."
"I guess…," I replied.
So, that's how they know me, I thought.
"Sorry for bumping into you and running away yesterday!" he apologized.
I didn't know what he was talking about, so I assumed Kozue was in my body when that happened.
"Oh, we didn't even introduce ourselves," he said and extended his arm. "I'm Tarō, nice to meet you—"
The boxes he was carrying lost their balance and fell. Several mangas scattered all over the floor. Everyone stood still to observe the scene.
Did he just let them fall to shake my hand? I asked myself, astounded.
A tall and muscular old man appeared behind Tarō-san and yelled, "Takuto, pick up those mangas now!"
"Y-Yes, boss! I'm sorry!" Tarō-san screamed as he began to pick them up. I couldn't blame him. That man was scary.
"Good afternoon, Kawahara-san. You're here early," the boss welcomed her calmly.
Even the boss recognizes her, I thought.
We tried to help Tarō-san but the boss wouldn't let us. He said it was Tarō-san's fault and job, so we walked over to the next aisle.
Kawahara-san took her cap off and tucked it into her backpack.
"Why were you hiding?" I asked again. "The real answer, please."
She stayed silent for a few seconds and answered while untying her ponytail, "Kozue Suzuka-san told me you were going to the manga store with Narumi Sae-san. I came to observe for research purposes."
"Research purposes?"
"Correct," she replied and ran her hand through her hair, which covered her whole back. "Narumi Sae-san and you just touched, didn't you?"
"We did. I was wondering the same, actually," I responded.
"We shall see what happens. Tell me if you feel something out of the ordinary."
"I will."
Someone peeking out from behind the tall shelves caught my attention, but Narumi-san returned at the same time. "Kawahara Enko?" she questioned.
"Hello, Narumi Sae-san."
"Hi! I didn't know you read manga, too!"
"I was walking by the store and it looked interesting," Kawahara-san replied. "More importantly, I didn't know that you let people know you read manga," she added and pushed up her glasses.
"Araki-kun asked me to come with him, right?" she giggled.
"What?" I let out. "I thought you asked—"
"Anyways," she interrupted me. "We're just looking around and having fun. Oh, maybe you have a recommendation?"
Kawahara-san stayed silent even though she seemed to have something to say.
"It's okay if you don't," Narumi-san added.
"I have one," Kawahara-san said. She then raised her arm and pointed to a sign over one of the aisles.
I read it out loud, "Fanfiction?"
"I-It's okay!" Narumi-san blushed and jumped in front of me, trying to block my view with her arms. "We're actually enjoying the fantasy section, right?
"Sure," I faltered.
"As you prefer," Kawahara-san said. "I shall leave. It was interesting talking with you." She turned around and looked at me over her shoulder to say, "Take care."
I knew she meant something other than just saying goodbye, but I couldn't understand her.
Tarō-san approached her as she walked to the exit and asked, "Kawahara-senpai, you're leaving already? Did you find what you were looking for?"
"I told you I wasn't searching for something specific."
"Ah, right! Well, remember you can always ask me!"
"I will," Kawahara-san replied and left the store.
Narumi-san and I spent the next thirty minutes roaming through the store. Even though I didn't buy anything, she found two mangas she wanted to buy but didn't have enough money, so I bought them for her.
We walked out of the store with the sun about to hide behind the mountain.
"Araki-kun, you didn't have to buy them for me," Narumi-san said.
"It's fine. My parents earned more money than I spent one second after I bought them," I replied.
"Oh, I see," she chuckled.
Her phone vibrated once again and she reached for it in her pocket.
"You have been receiving notifications since a while ago," I said.
"Oh, you noticed?" she nervously giggled. "I didn't want to interrupt—Ah!" she screamed.
"Is everything okay?" I asked.
"I didn't notice the time! I need to run home or Mom will kill me!"
"Do you want to wait? My chauffeur can drive you."
"Isn't he going to arrive in about ten minutes?"
I nodded.
"Sorry, but I really need to leave now!"
"No problem. Be careful."
"You, too!" she replied. "It was fun. Let's do it again someday!" she added as she ran away. She then crossed the street and walked up the stairs of the train station. It wasn't that far away from the store.
I stood still under a tree, observing the narrow river at the park on the other side of the street.
My first time in a manga store, I thought. Kawahara-san was here for research purposes, but I wonder why Kozue was here, too.
Paranoid, I looked around to see if they were still spying on me, but I saw no one.
I, also, wonder what Father will say when I get back.
Ten minutes later, Yoshimura-san arrived and I got in the car.
"How was your day, Araki-sama?" he asked me.
"It was fun," I replied. "Did you tell Father?"
He took a couple of seconds to reply, "I'm sorry, but you know we have to."
"Yes. I know…"
My phone vibrated in my pocket and I reached for it.
"Have you felt anything out of the ordinary? Sleepiness? Dizziness? Nausea?" Kawahara-san sent in a message.
"No, I feel completely normal," I replied.
"Understood. It seems you can only swap bodies with Kozue Suzuka-san, for now. But we shall be patient and careful. I will research more."
"Sure. Thanks," I sent and put my phone back in my pocket.
Yoshimura-san drove us home between the mountains and we arrived when it was almost completely dark.
I stepped in, already expecting to argue with Father.
Fujisaki-san approached me to take my backpack and my shoes. "Thanks," I said. "Is Father home?"
"I am," Father replied from the other side of the hall. He then walked towards me.
"I see you found time to come today," I snarked.

"Thank you, but I'm only 18. I'm not old enough for someone to call me Miss Kato. I appreciate your politeness, though!" Sumire bubbled. She enjoyed compliments quite a bit, given she rarely received any. Why would she anyway? She spent most of her time at home alone. She had no friends, Kuna was gone, and her parents were never around, so it's not like any strangers would go out of their way to say something kind to— 
 
"Oh, I see it! There's the building! No wonder I couldn't find it, it's hidden behind all those buildings!" exclaimed Akiji, separating from Sumire's hand and running towards the building.  
 
She wanted to scold him for running off like that, but it'd be pointless. He'd be coming here alone starting tomorrow, right? What was the need to get overprotective? She decided she'd piggyback on the boy's excitement and help him associate the monorail station with something fun; that way, he wouldn't feel nervous about coming here alone. "I'm a genius!" Sumire thought, raising her chin towards the sky in triumph. 
 
Sumire decided to run alongside Akiji, pointing out various landmarks along the way as they ran. Since it was about 8:45 at this point, most commuters and students were already where they needed to be, so they didn't need to worry about running into people on their dash toward the station. Once they made it there, they both paid the fee to ride the monorail and headed for the waiting area. Thankfully, they didn't need to wait long, or rather, the wait didn't feel that long? Akiji's constant questions about Sumire's "super deadly ability" and his fascination with the monorail station helped time feel as though it was flying by, so when the monorail to Redline finally arrived, she was pleasantly surprised by its apparent punctuality.  
 
Sumire made sure they rode in a car in the very back, as that one usually had nobody in it. If she was going to show off her Imperium, she didn't want anyone to see her. She was pretty self-conscious about it and could probably count on one hand how many times she'd used it during her high school years. Sumire considered how she'd show off her ability to the boy before her thoughts were interrupted by another one of his questions. 
 
"Do you think I'll be okay going to school alone? The only Hero Seeker in Redline was Arrow, and he retired two years ago. What if someone tries to get me?" questioned Akiji, holding tightly onto Sumire's hand and staring out of the window across from them. 
 
"You'll be okay, Akiji. After all, I'm an SSS student! I'm going to become a Seeker pretty soon, but I'm still strong enough to take a bad guy down. If you feel nervous, just call me! I have pretty good ears, so I'll hear you and come flying over like an eagle!".  
 
"You can fly?" asked Akiji, his eyes beginning to light up.  
 
"W-well, I probably could," guessed Sumire, "but I can definitely do this. Super deadly Imperium, go!" 
 
Sumire yelled the chant, shot up from her seat, and walked out in front of Akiji. The glowing eyes and rapt attention from Akiji reminded Sumire of her brother. He'd make the exact same face each time she'd show off her Imperium.  
 
Sumire's pupils narrowed. Her teeth sharpened. Her tongue lengthened. Her mouth widened. She had become snake-like in appearance and began stretching and contorting her body in impossible ways.  
 
His broken eye contact, bitter smile, and slumped shoulders also reminded Sumire of her brother. This was the same trick she'd always use on Kuna. It was stupid to think the result would be any different. Despite his obvious disappointment, the unimpressed boy did his best to be polite. 
 
"That looks...interesting. C-can you grow scales too?", Akiji questioned, his voice dismayed, and his face dampened. 
 
"No, but this~ isn't the cool part.", Sumire boasted, her eerie smirk taking up nearly her entire face. "This~ is the s~uper deadly attack."  
 
Sumire usually wouldn't have used her Imperium like this, but Akiji had challenged her! Her snake ability wasn't impressive? She could potentially strangle someone to death just by elongating her arms around their neck! How is that not cool? Whatever, she just had to show him this. Sumire's mouth opened so wide it seemed as though her jaw would separate from her body. She positioned her head toward the window behind Akiji and spat acid at it. Almost instantly, the window began to dissolve, like acetone on styrofoam. 
 
"Wait, I thought snake venom could only poison things and burn flesh! How did you do that!?", Akiji yelled, the excitement returning to his face.  
 
"Why the hell does this kid know about shit like that?" Sumire asked herself internally. She sighed and answered her question, maintaining her creepy grin, "My venom is a mix~ of poison and ac~id," Sumire hissed.  
 
"That's so cool! What else can you melt?" 
 
Sumire spent the rest of the trip melting various parts of the monorail with her snake venom. By the time the automated chime informing passengers to let them know that they were approaching Redline had played, the two finally realized that the car was nearly destroyed. The windows, railings, handlebars, and even parts of the floor were all melted. The two looked at each other, sharing an awkward smile that quickly transformed into laughter.  
 
"L-let's get our stuff and go to a different car.", Sumire stammered.  
 
"O-okay.", Akiji responded. 
 
The two picked up their bags and practically ran to the monorail's front car, where most of the riders had been staying. When they exited the station and arrived in Redline, Sumire took note of the city's looks. The town had bright lights everywhere; there was a bridge in the distance with a manmade river below it, plenty of bright billboards, and even restaurant employees giving free samples of food on the sidewalks. There were so many cars and buses on the wide city streets that the two decided to play a game with each other to see how long they could speak without being interrupted by a car horn. Wasn't this supposed to be the dangerous city everyone warned people about? The town felt so...alive!  
 
"Sumire, look! It's so co—" Akiji's words were cut short by the most heavenly sight either of them could've imagined. "Is that an Ages Arcade?! Sumire, we have to go! Look, there's a manga store next to it, Sumire, ple~ase can we go?".  
 
"We can't go to an arcade when we both have school—." Sumire's brain had finally processed Akiji's final words. "Y-you said you saw a manga store?".  
 
"Yup," Akiji smiled. He continued, "I bet they have the new volume of Diamond is Indestructible!"  
 
"W-we both have school right now. We're both late. B-besides, the next volume comes out tomorrow. How would they have it?", she protested as she crossed her arms. 
 
"My friend's dad owns a manga shop in Periti, and he said that the stores always get the new volumes a week early so they can show them off in the store and do preorders and stuff.". 
 
Shit, this kid played her like a fiddle. He found out she likes manga and knew exactly what to say! It's like she said earlier, they're already late, right? 
 
Sumire decided that the most responsible decision was to take Akiji to the manga store next to the Ages Arcade. She convinced herself that taking him to buy manga in Redline would help him trick his brain into liking Redline instead of fearing it.  
 
Inside the bookstore was nothing special. It was what anyone would expect: shoulder-high bookshelves, fancy displays with popular books, and even a sitting area for people to read manga in the store. After being unable to find the new volume on the shelves, Akiji suggested asking the clerk directly. 
 
Sumire asked the clerk in the manga store if they had the newest volume of Dodo's Crazy Quest: Diamond is Indestructible and received an answer she hadn't been expecting. The clerk tried to subtly tell her that she'd have to pay extra to get the copies early. Neither Sumire nor Akiji could pick up on his subtlety, though, so he flat out told Sumire that she'd need to pay extra for the early volumes. 
 
 "Is that illegal?" Sumire whispered, her eyes glancing around the shop.  
 
"Do you want the manga or not?" the clerk sharply responded.  
 
Sumire looked at Akiji, who was visibly eager to get his hands on the volume to no doubt show off to all of his friends. Sumire sighed and paid the clerk to "see if they had any." Eventually, the clerk returned with two copies of the newest volume of Dodo's Crazy Quest and even threw in a new copy of Deadly Composition for free. 
 
As soon as they exited the store, Sumire wondered why she received the extra manga for free.  
 
"Maybe he thinks you're cool?", Akiji guessed. 
 
Sumire doubted it, but when she opened the book and saw a sticky note with a phone number and a heart, she couldn't help but chuckle. Two compliments in a day!

First, the chapter-length varies between 1000-3000 words depending on the events. Admittedly, the first batch of introductory chapters is a bit of a slow burn. I want to introduce you to the characters before getting to the craziness, so if you're interested in wall-to-wall action and fights each chapter, then this may not be the story for you.



Secondly, this story is heavily inspired by darker shounen manga and anime such as Hunter x Hunter and Jujutsu Kaisen, with the fights and magic system in particular taking inspiration from Jojo's Bizzare Adventure. If you like anime, then you'll probably like this story. If you prefer Tolkien-esque fantasy, though, then this story also may not be for you.

 

Thirdly, I have a decent stockpile of chapters stored, which I plan on expanding upon each day. Because of that, this series won't be dropped or put into indefinite hiatus, and chapters will be released daily unless otherwise stated. Finally, I've done multiple grammar and spell checks, so there shouldn't be any immersion-breaking grammatical issues. If you do find one, though, please leave a comment, and I'll revise! 

 

Finally, while this is my very first fiction, it's also a first draft of sorts. I plan to have this story professionally edited and published, so any feedback is very much appreciated!

I stopped taking and turned my head away

Since her jacket was unzipped it was showing her night wear underneath. But because of the movements she made while throwing the vegetables, the blue slip she was wearing became loose and was showing some of her cleavage

 

Although I wanted to admire the beautiful twin mountains, I didn't want to be disrespectful. So like the gentleman I am, I told her

 

"Your puppies are peeping out"

 

"Puppies?"

 

She looked down and noticed

She quickly zipped up the jacket

 

Watching the zip go over a mountain and come down to a valley was truly a sight for sore eyes

 

And to think I squeezed those meat buns earlier. I will never forget what I felt on my hands back then for the rest of my life

 

I looked at her and asked

 

"Why the hell are you wearing lingerie outside? Are you actually an exhibitionist?"

 

"Of course not! Nobody was supposed to see me in these clothes! I just wore these because I was wearing them at my house and didn't want to change my clothes again just for buying books. I never expected all of this to happen. So don't get any wrong idea"

 

"Sure, then what about the disguise?"

 

She paused and thought for a second and timidly replied saying

 

"That's because I didn't want anyone in school to see me buy manga"

 

"So you're a closet otaku. I know some people don't like to reveal their hobbies and I'm okay with that. But you went as far as to wearing a disguise to buy manga and tried to abandon the manga you bought when I saw it. Are you really that ashamed to be an otaku?"

 

She took a step towards me and exclaimed

 

"Of course I'm not! I love being an otaku…"

 

A look of irritation came on her face

 

"…It's just that I can't let those bitches in school know that I like anime and manga. If they find out they'll never let me hear the end of it"

 

Seems like she has a really bad relationship with the girls in school

 

"And you're okay with me knowing?"

 

"Well you did say you would accept any hobby of mine"

 

"That I did"

 

"And you also seem to have read some manga before since you knew about that previous one. I just assumed you like manga like me…"

 

She looked like she wanted to ask something but was hesitating to tell me. She then got the resolve as she gripped her fists tightly, looked up at me and asked

 

"…So do you like manga?"

 

She looked at me with anticipation in her eyes. With a straight face I said

 

"No, I don't like it"

But the truth is "The Undying King" is actually a High school student named Yamamoto Yuuto who is only doing those jobs due to some circumstances and just wants to live a normal life like everyone else. But due to his intimidating appearance, even in normal society he is viewed as a violent deliquent and is ignored and despised by everyone

When he finds out he is transferring to 'Tokiwadai Private High School' an elite school, he hopes to have a peaceful life there without any problems and possibily even make a friend or two. But his hopes of a normal school life are shattered when he shames his teacher, publicly humiliates a girl, drives a classmate to the edge of despair and threatens to kill another classmate on the very first day

After making an enemy of the whole school he believes that he will never get a normal school life but his whole life is turned upside down when he meets the mysterious girl 'Kisaragi Yuzuha' who just seems to know everything about him 

Follow Yamamoto Yuuto, as he meets other girls with traumatic experiences of their own and uses his own life experience as The King of the Underworld to save them from their past and current circumstances and watch him crush everyone that comes in his way

We first went to the City Square and ate some street foods like a delicious takoyaki from a stand here and those amazing ice cream crepe from one of those ice cream crepe trucks.
We even took pictures from a mascot of a ramen shop that's advertising in the streets. It was a cute red cat with a blue tip on its tail. It's also wearing a large round bell, but it's just there for design.
Our next stop is this small anime store that I didn't know existed in a small alley in the City Square. Juwan told us that this place has been here ever since he moved here and that he buys here whenever he has money. Right now, we're the only people here and the manager who is behind the cash register.
"This place is awesome!" Hanzo seems excited. "I didn't know that this place existed."
"Yeah," Juwan was browsing through the figurines and action figures of different anime characters. "I was walking down the street when I was a poster on the ground, saying that this place is open. At that time, this shop was like, newly opened, around three days after opening, I think."
"Ahh, so you were like, their first customer?" I asked. I'm browsing through the section of the blade and wow, there are a lot of different blades here. Ranging to throwables like shurikens, kunai, throwing knives, to wield-types like a katana, long sword, and even a replica of the Excalibur, which looks real. I touched the tip of the kunai, and it was pointy, I almost pierced my finger.
Juwan picked up a muscled action figure with a color scheme of yellow, red, and blue. "You could say that."
"Yeah, if it wasn't for this guy, my shop wouldn't have customers," The manager, who looks like he's in his early thirties, said.
"Oh, guys, by the way, this is Toshi," He points at the manager. "He's the who started and runs this store."
Toshi smiles and waves. "Nice to meet you guys!"
Hanzo and I introduced ourselves. "Nice to meet you too, Mr. Toshi!" We both said as we bow.
He waved a hand at us. "What's with the formality? Just call me Toshi!"
I laugh. "Okay, Toshi."
As Juwan and Hanzo geek out about their favorite superhero anime, I was browsing through the collection of manga next to the counter. The genres don't seem to be arranged in order "Hmmm, Fantasy, Horror, Sci-Fi, Romance, Paranormal"
I began to read off genres that don't seem familiar to me. "Shounen, Shoujo, Seinen, Shounen-ai, Shoujo-ai, Slice of Life, Yaoi, Yuri, Ecchi, Harem, He-"
"Hey there, looking for a read?" Toshi loudly interrupted my browsing, but in a friendly manner.
"Oh, not really," I replied. "I'm not really into manga or anime, but maybe I should try one."
"Hmm," He grabbed a manga from the Shoujo section. "Try reading this."
"Hmm?" I took the manga and in the cover is a pink and sparkly background with five girls in fireman outfits of different colors, striking different poses, and some of them have disproportionate… features….
I read the title of the manga. "Shoujo Fire Squad…."
"Yeah," Toshi says. "They are a group of girls who are firewomen who use their abilities to take out fire, rescue civilians, and take out the bad guys."
"Interesting.." Yes, the plot was…. interesting. I've never heard of a concept like this before.
"This manga has it all!" Toshi adds. "Action, drama, romance, a hint of mystery, and for a plus, cute girls with big-"
"Personalities!" Juwan approaches us. "Which we know is important in doing their duties and responsibilities as firewomen."
He has a hand in the back of his head. "By the way, Hanzo is calling you."
"Oh, okay," I gave the manga back to Toshi. "Thanks for the recommendation!"
As I walk away, I hear them talk.
"Jeez, Toshi," Juwan says in a slightly high tone as if he was scolding someone. "Stop corrupting the mind of every customer who enters here that's not that much into manga and anime! Control yourself, man!"
Toshi let out a peal of nervous laughter. "Sorry, I got pretty excited."
"This is why you have fewer customers than before, Toshi."
Ahh, I knew it was something dirty. Well, I don't mind. Though I think I will look into that manga because the concept is interesting and probably unique.
"Ah, Kazu," Hanzo got up looking from a basket full of training card packs. "I found these!"
He showed me a pack of training cards that I loved so much since I was in elementary.
"Beast Pockets!" I took the pack from Hanzo's hand. "This is the limited edition pack with legendary beast cards! I've been searching for these since high school!"
Hanzo laughs. "I knew you would love it. That's like, the only anime you've ever watched."
"I have watched every single episode from 1998 up to the latest season."
I was still amazed at the card pack. This pack is limited time only and there are legendary SSR beast cards there. I don't know how there are still that exist even though these came out like, two years ago.
"You know what, since you tagged along, I'll buy that card as a treat for you."
I looked at Hanzo, feeling like one of those anime characters where their eyes sparkle or something. "Really?"
"Sure!"
I hugged him tightly. "Thank you thank you thank you so much!"
"You're we-lco-me…" I quickly let go of him because he was unable to breathe.
"Sorry." I chuckle.
He laughs, a hand behind his head.
As I look at the pack of cards, I felt a presence somewhere around this area. I don't know why, but this presence feels uncomfortable. That sense is emitting from the window of the store as if someone was watching us, but there was nothing.
Hanzo places a hand on my shoulder. "Kazu, you alright?"
I slightly shake my head, trying to remove the unease I was feeling. "Oh, yeah! I'm fine."
"Okay, if you say so…" Hanzo continues to look for merch.
I continue to admire the card pack, trying to shake off the feeling of unease.

After death, the souls of the departed are guided by beings to either Heaven or Hell. But what if one day, souls are unable to ascend or descend because of their lack of peace even after life?

Kazu Shinoaki, an 18-year old university student used to see ghosts when he was young. After an encounter with a mysterious building, he was able to see ghosts again.

Because of this, he was hired by Hotel Asphodel, a hotel where ghosts stay until they find peace.

Koru looked at his school uniforms and had to admit they were pretty.

His school uniform was a dark blue coat with pants in the same color, above the coat there was a short shoulder cloak with a nice design.

The buttons for the kit were round with a golden storm design that symbolizes the Jujuitsu School.

Koru came down and Foshiguro and Yuji were already ready.

Without wasting any time, they went to the train station.

Minutes later, they reached an area crowded with people.

Yuji was excited that he had never seen so many people so he went to different stores.

Fauchiguro looked at him with a look that said, "You countryside."

"Why don't you walk around with him? The fourth student might be late ..." goju told koru because koru wasn't as enthusiastic and energetic as Yuji.

"I do not actually like calm."  Koru politely refused, raised his headphones from his neck to his ears, and turned on something.

Goju shook his head and waited silently.

Koru opened the group chat app and was shocked by the presence of so many messages.

It seemed as though everyone quickly accepted the situation and even made friends.

" Red Devil: Kazuma are you looking for some spanking? "

" Garbage-zuma: Hahaha, I will not hesitate to kick you in the face until I am a true equal of justice between male and female. "

" Poor yatty: This is so embarrassing, how do you say that? This is not something to be proud of. "

"Red devil : It's no wonder that the word garbage is in your title. You are so rude!"

"Garbage-zuma: That's rude!"

" Dreamer: Is everyone present? "

" Garbage-zuma: 1+ "

" Poor yatty: 1+ "

 "King of the Seven Seas: I do not know its meaning. Be anyway +1"

" Red Devil: 1+ "

" Blizzard from Hell: 1+ "

Kry searched for Jujuitsu Kaisen's manga and then submitted the first volume.

" garbage-zuma : But koru you are not found in this manga, so are you like a transfer student or a character who will appear later?

"Red devil: I was about to ask!"

"Garbage-zuma: Like a normal person who stumbled upon great luck?"

" Poor Yatty: Do you mean that you are from another world as well? "

" Dreamer: No! I was living my life normally until I found that suddenly I was born as a child in this world. " 

Suddenly, the atmosphere in the chat group became calm.

Then Yato changed the topic.

" Poor yatty: These names are a bit annoying, since you are the supervisor. Can you change them? "

" Dreamer: Okay. "

Koru pressed the Settings button and changed the nicknames and converted them to names.

" Fubuki: What are the other features? Like the store, the warehouse, and the training room? Can use them to be stronger that my sister? "

" Sinbad: Yes, what is it? "

Before koru explains, Kazuma has already spoken.

" Kazuma: I entered the store and discovered that it is full of many different abilities and even there are prohibited arts of these manga and legendary weapons. "

"Kazuma: The store is like an empty dimension in which you can put anything. "
 
" Koru: as he said. "

" Sinbad opened the store and found different types of charms, weapons and even jin bowls similar to his for sale! "

"This ..." After seeing this, Sinbad's eyes glow in a brilliant light.

Sinbad felt a feeling that he was sorely missed.

There was a huge adventure ahead of him!

As Sinbad was examining the system, he heard a noise that disturbed him: "Sinbad, are you crazy?"

"Shut up, David!" Sinbad said in a cold tone.

"What happened to you? You talk, laughing and hitting the air! Do not forget our previous agreement!" The little David's soul shrieked angrily.

Sinbad ignored him and continued his conversation with the group chat.

" Sinbad: What about the training room? It's closed. "

" Kazuma: I think this is like a simulation room or it could be an empty field for training. "

" sinbad: Simulation room? What do you mean ? " 

"Fubuki: It's a room where there's a device that's simulating something of your request."

 " Rin: You mean like a dungeon in games? "

" Fubuki: Right. "

Kazuma opened the store and found ways to boost the body and pills to increase physical abilities.

Kazuma's face became so joyful that he was shedding tears after seeing all these body enhancement methods as if these things were targeting him.

What made him upset were the prices!

" Kazuma: How are coins earned? I only have 20 coins. "

Koru was so caught up in the conversations that he did not realize that the fourth student had actually come.

Goju and Yuji were trying to bring him back into consciousness, but there was no point.

I was excited to come to Tokyo.

After all, I finally got out of the damn countryside!

Uh, will it be taken from idols?  Or will I become a famous model?

After the train stopped, I happily got off it, and as I expected, Tokyo was completely different from the countryside!  The place was very lively and there were many people.

I saw a guy stalking a girl in order to employ her as a model in his company, but the girl was rejecting him on the pretext that she is busy.

I approached the man and asked him, "What do you think of me?"

The man looked at me suspiciously, then ignored me and ran away.

You want the lost!  He doesn't have any good eye for talent.

Nearby, a handsome man with silver hair waved at me and said, "Here."

I went there and learned he was my teacher!

He is very handsome with his silver hair and eye cover.

The teacher told me to find out about myself and then I did and looked at the rest of the students.

Someone seemed to be the kind of gullible, you think he must have been eating his nasal mucus when he was young.

And the other looked kind of cold, who thinks he's the same?

As for the last?  Damn he did not even pay attention to me, let alone introduce himself.

Even after the calls of the teacher and the other student, he was completely focused on his phone.

I sighed because my bad luck still haunted me, even in Tokyo.

After a night of rest, Lucoa and I got up with a deep morning kiss before going to our morning routine but midway through the shower I remember that tomorrow is the weekend.

Thinking about it I don't want to go to school today but my mom will yell at me if I did that.

After a bit of thinking, I looked at Lucoa and ask her opinion to see what she thinks.

"Hey, Lucoa do you want to skip school today." Shouta

Lucoa hearing my question answered me right away.

"Yes, it's getting boring. I thought we'll spend a lot of time together but we only really spend the time between classes and the breaks while the rest of the time your sitting paying attention to the teacher while I'm forced to stand all day long." Lucoa

Hearing her answer I felt helpless but I'm glad we're on the same page.

"Then let's skip school but we'll still need to go there to alter my teachers' memories so the school doesn't call home. Also, we should take Nanahoshi and Spade along with us. We still need to get Nanahoshi that maid uniform as well." Shouta

After coming up with a plan to skip school Lucoa and I went to eat breakfast before heading to school.

When we reached the school we separated so Lucoa can change people's memories while I go find Nanahoshi and Spade.

It didn't take long for me to find Nanahoshi and Spade as they were in the classroom getting ready for class.

Seeing Nanahoshi and Spade I wasn't polite and grabbed Nanahoshi hand and took him away from the classroom as I don't want to spend too much time here anymore and Lucoa should already start to manipulate the memories of everyone in the school so its best we leave before we mess anything up in our end by being seen.

Once we left the classroom Nanahoshi who was being pulled by me started to talk to me after getting over his slight shock.

"Magatsuchi where are you taking me? Is something wrong? Where's Ms. Magatsuchi?" Nanahoshi

Hearing Nanahoshi I answered him as I take him to the school gate where we'll wait for Lucoa.

"We're not going to school today, Lucoa and I decided to take a three-day weekend and you're joining us. Also, don't worry about your attendance as Lucoa has it covered also stop calling me Magatsuchi, and Lucoa Ms. Magatsuchi just call us by our names as it's getting annoying." Shouta

Hearing what I said Nanahoshi seemed hesitant, not seeming to know what to say but he started talking after a bit.

"Umm, okay Shouta you can call me Natsuki then but why are you taking me with you? Do you have to take me with you?" Natsuki

"Oh, that we need to go to Akihabara and buy your maid uniform so we need you to find the right size clothing that will fit you. Also, I need to do some shopping for an upcoming project and I need to get Lucoa a phone so I need you as my maid to hold our bags." Shouta

After telling Natsuki why he's coming we made it to the school gate and waited for Lucoa.

Lucoa didn't take long and met us after she finished manipulating the memories of everyone in the school.

Once we all were together Lucoa opens a portal to my room so Natsuki and I can charge our clothes as we can't go out in our school uniform.

After entering the portal Natsuki and I changed quietly to plain clothing before leaving through another portal Lucoa made to a train station that has a train that'll take us to Akihabara.

The train raid to Akihabara didn't take long and the first place we visited was a cosplay shop that especially sells to female and trap cosplayers.

Once we entered the cosplay shop the first thing I noticed was all the posters of female and trap cosplayers on the walls.

Seeing the posters I knew I was in the right place.

Walking around the shop Lucoa and I dragged Natsuki who was in a trans looking at all the cute outfits while Spade just stade on his shoulder.

Looking through the store selection we had to mix and match some maid cosplay outfits and take a bunny suit rabbit ears to complete Natsuki's maid uniform.

Getting everything together we bought the clothes for the maid uniform before Lucoa and I forced Natsuki into a changing room so he can wear it.

Once Natsuki was in the waiting room Lucoa separated from me and started to look around for herself.

Seeing her leave I didn't say anything as I can guess what kind of clothing she's looking for and I'm sure I'll love to see her in them.

After a bit of waiting, Natsuki came out of the changing room in his new maid uniform while blushing in embarrassment as he was forced to dress in maid cosplay as a work uniform.

Seeing him in his new outfit I just smiled happily.

After looking at Natsuki in his new outfit for a bit I started to look for Lucoa as we still have more places to go.

Looking for Lucoa in the store we couldn't find her but when I asked an employee they pointed to an R-18 section of the store and told me to wait for her as I'm not allowed to enter that area.

Seeing the R-18 section I wonder what kind of cosplay is there when the non-R-18 section already has some skimpy clothing.

Thinking about it and what kind of clothing Lucoa will choose to show me in the future made me excited and I almost popped a boner if it wasn't for the fact I stopped it in time as I'm in public but it was hard.

As we waited for Lucoa she finally came out of the R-18 section of the store after a bit without anything in hand before joining us.

Seeing her empty-handed made me a little disappointed but I then remembered she can use her dragon scales to make clothing so a smile reappeared on my face as I kept thinking about Lucoa new clothing options.

Once Lucoa rejoined us we left the cosplay shop and headed to a manga store nearby where so I can buy all types of Shoujo mangas for the upcoming ritual.

Entering the manga shop we found a wide selection of manga so after telling Lucoa and Natsuki what type of manga to look for they went to look for Shoujo mangas on their own as I did the same.

Looking at the Shoujo mangas in the store I especially picked the School Romance as I remember Ameri enjoying this type the most.

As for Lucoa and Natsuki when I passed them Lucoa somehow found herself in the adult section, not the R-18 section, while Natsuki is at the magical girl section of the store.

Seeing them in their respective sections I wonder if there are any Shoujo mangas in the magical girl section while I hope Lucoa doesn't choose anything too risky as Ameri blushes easily on regular School Romance mangas just imagining her read adult content ... you know what I hope Lucoa picks a bunch now that I think about it, everything will be fine, it might even be better than fine.

After picking up some Shoujo mangas for the ritual we paid for them before going to the phone store and getting Lucoa the same type of phone as me before going to get lunch.

For lunch, we went to a restaurant called Nekoya that seems to sell western food.

Entering Nekoya it was quiet for the most part as it wasn't rush hour yet and I can only see one employee working behind the bar.

After entering Nekoya we sat at an empty table and looked at the menu before we order our food from the only worker.

Once we got our food we quietly ate it before leaving and giving our thanks to the middle-aged man who was working here as he was a pretty good cook seeing how no one else was working here but him.

Once we left Nekoya Lucoa said an interesting commit about the restaurant after we walked out its doors.

"Nice place we should come again and it also seems there's an interesting space distortion connected to my world from the restaurant front door so we can even eat there if we ever visit my old home in the future. Oh, I can even high jack the space distortion and make a personal potable restaurant out of it." Lucoa

Hearing what she said I was surprised but then remembered an anime trailer or something about the restaurant we were just in but as I didn't watch it or read the manga to it I stopped thinking about it as it's not important but I have to agree with Lucoa to visit it again as it has good food.

After leaving Nekoya we headed to the train station and head back to my residential area before going to visit Lucoa friends as we still had time until I needed to head home.
