Hey everyone, thank you for your interest in my book, this is my first time writing a story. This is my original work and the setting is urban American. My characters are African American, Carribean, and Hispanic descent, so this book may have a different flavor from the more traditional stories on here. Also feel free to comment if there are any slang terms or phrases you don't understand.

All love stories started in the phrases, "when i met you I know you are the one" or "I saw my whole life with you" or in every cheesy phrases that will make your stomach hungry. But this is not a typical love story rather it's a poem about a girl who always give her life to every person she met and leaving them after she fulfill her goal. 

And this is how they met..

After meeting her father after years due to his disappearance he comes back into her life.

And with one sentence he changed her whole life.

"Your Princess Amelia Rose Cartenay of Dimension 4."

"Where are we going today", Jae-seong asked in a less energetic tone than yesterday. "The real question is, why do you look so tired", Ten asked placing the back of his hand on her forehead to feel if she is sick again. "She played games all night", Vernon answered looking tired as well. "Again?! Ya! I will confiscate your games and your console if you continue doing that", Jaehyun exclaimed. "Whatever", Jae-seong said waving her hand.
"Is that normal too", Yuta asked. "Yeah, if she doesn't get to hibernate after her first all nighter, after her second she would get all grumpy and little to no energy", Mark explained. "Is this her second consecutive day", Vernon asked. "Yes", Lucas answered. "Oh, which explains", Vernon responded. "Explains what", Mark and Lucas asked in unison.
"Well last night, I can't sleep. So she offered me to play with her. It was great until she started to get real serious and whenever she loses she would throw a fit. It was around 2am when I really wanted to sleep already but she keeps on giving me the 'code red phrases'", Vernon said as he remembered the happenings from last night." What do you mean by 'code red phrases'", Ten asked.
"You see, I have a sister. And there are times when she says it's alright but in reality it's not. I labelled them the 'code red phrases' since it's easiest called that way. Last night she keeps on telling me phrases like 'alright, whatever you want' and 'sure, go ahead, leave me here', and those itself are code red phrases. It doesn't necessarily intend to make you feel guilty but it does and that is why it is important to pay attention to what they're really trying to say", Vernon explained which left them amused of how he said it and how he truly understands Jae-seong.
"Well we were about to go to Universal Studios today but since Jae-seong isn't really up for it, we'll go somewhere else", Taeyong announced. "Can we really enjoy Universal in just one day", Yuta asked. "The place is pretty huge", Vernon added. "We can extend a day more here if you're down for it", Taeyong said which formed smiles unto their faces. "Another day it is", Taeyong said before heading out the door.

Spa World", Jae-seong asked as she read the sign. "Yeah, for you to relax a but before we go to our next destination", Taeyong said. "We can all get massages and bath for a few minutes", Yuta said excitingly. "What time will we be heading out of here", Jae-seong asked upon knowing that females and males have separate floors. "It's only 8am so I will say about 12nn", Taeyong said looking at his fancy watch.
"Alright then, I'll get going", Jae-seong said smiling as she waved to the rest before following the staff. She then entered the massage room and just let them do their thing. She ended up sleeping for the whole session and would say for a good 2 hours. She woke up feeling better than earlier a tad bit more energized. She then went to the bathing area and sat there with her mind empty. Not long after, she drifted to sleep again.

"Hey princess, how is my little princess doing", a man asked. "Papa? Is that you", little Jae-seong called out. And there, her father appeared. "Papa! I missed you", little Jae-seong exclaimed running towards their father and giving him a hug. "Aww my little girl is still a daddy's girl huh", her father chuckled. "I need you right now papa", little Jae-seong said as she started to cry. "You have your mama over there, right? Or does she treat you the same still", her father asked cupping Jae-seong's cheeks with his hands. "Worse papa. She's treating me worse", little Jae-seong said.
"How about your brother", her father asked again wiping her tears. Little Jae-seong didn't respond. "I know you've been much closer now. I'm happy that you're getting along now baby. Don't worry about your mother anymore, you live far away from her now. I know you met two wonderful boys your age, how I wish I could have at least met them", her father continued. Little Jae-seong just cried in front of her father.
"Open up more to your brother darling. Or to this Vernon guy. I don't want you crying all by yourself again, it pains me that I can't be there to comfort and protect you. I know how it hurts but I can assure you it was not your fault. Not all of it is your fault. Taeyong, just listen to him, give him a chance to explain, and maybe it will ease your mind", her father said which made little Jae-seong cry more.
"I know you're having a hard time with the boys. I physically can't be there to guide you but know that I will always be watching over you. And always remember this, follow your heart where it leads you. I love you sweetie", her father said as little Jae-seong hugged him again. "I miss you so much papa. I love you", she whispered.

Jae-seong woke up with tears streaming down her face, luckily she was the only one in the bathing area.

"When you choose to allow your heart to take over control, is it always the best decision?" 

To love by the moon is to pay attention to your emotions. But is it the best decision to only love by the moon?

Hazel didn't really think Billy would show up a second night in a row after she failed to appear. But the stupid, tiny spark of hope that had ignited when she met him refused to let her stay in bed when she woke up from her nightmare after being sent back to her own room the next day. 
A lone figure leaned against a tree near the door leading to the girls' wing and her heart leapt to her throat. He came. She ditched him and he came anyway. 
She rushed forward in excitement before stopping herself. She didn't know why he was here. It might be to chew her out for being inconsiderate. 
There was a cold light in his eyes as he stared straight ahead, unblinking. He couldn't see Hazel since she was coming at him from the side. She nearly shivered. In that moment, she could almost believe he truly was dangerous. 
But when Billy heard her footsteps and turned to face her, the coldness was gone and a friendly expression crossed his face. 
"I thought you'd come. Heard you were in isolation last night; that's rough. Did you bite a nurse?"
Hazel shook her head, surprised that he knew. Had one of the nurses been gossiping about her near his room or something? 
"I didn't hear you scream last night," Billy explained, noticing her confusion. "I've been here for nearly three years now and have heard you scream every night but a few random ones every few months. Going off of that pattern, isolation was the only thing that made sense." 
The padded walls helped muffle noise. Nobody could hear you in isolation unless they were right outside the door. It was why there was always a guard within sight of the little window. 
Hazel looked down, embarrassed. No wonder nobody liked her. They had to listen to her screams every night and lose sleep over it. 
Billy reached out and patted her shoulder. "Nothing to be embarrassed about."
Tears pooled in her eyes. When was the last time another human being touched her without trying to restrain her? She crumbled at the tiny show of comfort. 
"Aww, Hazel, don't cry! There's no reason for that. The moon is full tonight so there's plenty of light for us to read and write in. There are all sorts of new words I can teach you."
She hastily wiped them away, firm in her resolve. She would learn how to express herself properly if it was the last thing she ever did. 
They spent about an hour working on some more sight words but after that Billy had the idea of teaching her how to write phrases that could help her. Things like "I'm hungry," "I'm thirsty," and "I need to use the bathroom."
They worked through about twenty phrases like that, which took up most of their remaining time. Billy was teaching her how to write "my name is Hazel" as the sun began rising behind the mountains in the distance. 
"There, that should help you a bit," he said in a satisfied voice. 
Hazel wrote 'thank you', one of the phrases he had taught her, in the sand. 
"You're welcome! Should we meet up again tomorrow night?"
She was a bit curious why she hadn't seen him at yard time today—she had specifically looked for him—but she didn't have the words to ask. Instead, she nodded happily. If they kept this up, she would be able to ask him anything she wanted sooner or later. 
Hazel made her way through the rest of the day sleepily but when free time rolled around she grabbed a pad of paper and a hot pink crayon to practice writing. Learning from her mistakes, she decided to sneak the materials back to her room and away from Cindy. 
That nosy girl would definitely want to know what she was doing writing inane phrases over and over. It was none of her business!
She practiced diligently for about forty-five minutes before she got to writing "my name is Hazel." She frowned. How was Billy's name spelled? Obviously it started with a B…and since it ended with the same sound as "hungry" and "thirsty" it probably ended with a Y.
Hazel sounded it out in her head. B, I, L, Y. She wanted to write him a note but her spelling would probably be horrible. 
Taking out a new piece of paper, she tried to put the simplest thought she had down. She wanted to tell him how much she appreciated his kindness. But did she know enough words? 
An idea struck her before she even wrote down a single word. Why not give him the picture she had drawn during art time today? She could write the note on the back. 
After all, her mom always liked being given her artwork. Today she had drawn a picture of a kitten and a puppy in a field of flowers with a few clouds in a light blue sky. It had made her a little bit happy so maybe it would make him a little bit happy too. 
Hazel flipped over the drawing and painstakingly wrote out 'Bily, thank you for be good to me.' She wanted to say 'love Hazel' but didn't know how to write love so she drew a heart in front of her name instead. 
It wasn't as concise as she would have liked but she didn't know how to spell "being" or "nice." He hadn't taught her any words ending in –ing yet. 
Hazel hugged the drawing to her chest. She hoped he understood what she meant. 
When a nurse came looking for her because it was time for dinner, she hastily stuffed the drawing, papers, and crayon under her pillow. She could definitely use them again later to keep practicing when no one was looking. 
Sitting through dinner and visiting hours was so difficult knowing she was so close yet so far from seeing Billy and giving him her thank you gift. Why couldn't it be 3 AM already? Hazel still had to get through the rest of the day and another terrible nightmare before she could see him again.

“I’ll marry anyone who will take me!” Hazel declared loudly. “I don’t need love!”

“Get down!” Will hissed. “You don’t know what kind of people are lurking around in here! Talking like that might get you killed!”

Hazel Dixon thought she was putting her troubled past behind her. But when the person she thought she trusted most betrays her, she loses her head and proposes to an entire bar full of strangers. 

Enter Will Sheffield, a charming stranger who decides to take her up on her offer to save her from herself. 

He spoils her rotten without expecting anything in return and Hazel's confusion only grows. She doesn't know why he is acting this way. Or why he reminds her so much of the 'dangerous' childhood friend she thought was gone forever...

Ling Tian smiled, ignoring XiMen Qing completely as he said to Qian ShuiRou, "If that’s the case, this little brother will continue the poem from before," as he said that, he tapped the table lightly with his finger and pondered for a moment before reciting,
"The gentle rain and light fog forms a smiling tower,
With a flower-like spirit but yet gentle like the willows.
My silence doesn’t represent heartlessness,
The spring winds represent my desire and rain represents my worries!"
Qian ShuiRou showed a trace of embarrassment as she turned around. A few grunts could then be heard as the eight tall guards burned in anger, looking as though they wanted to rip Ling Tian to shreds. With a chuckle, Ling Tian ignored them completely.
"Good! What a ‘The spring winds represent my desire and rain represent my worries’!" An old scholar stroked his beard and nodded his head. Ling Tian’s gentle poem was greatly to his liking and it was a love poem about love at first sight.
As the six judges compared Ling Tian and XiMen Qing’s poems, they all began to frown. Be it depth or substance, they were extremely similar and each had their own strengths. It was just impossible to place one above the other and a draw was declared.
Ling Tian shook his head with a smile and said with a trace of helplessness, "Ling Tian was only continuing the poem which brother Qian had created a few days ago. The inspiration for this poem is from brother Qian and it has nothing to do with young noble XiMen or this poetry competition. How can such a poem be judged or be rated as a draw? Haha, if some casual nonsense by me can be considered a draw, it is far too much of preferential treatment to me. Haha…"
As Ling Tian said that, the faces of all the judges turned purple on the spot. None of them would have imagined that such a beautiful poem was not Ling Tian’s true talent to deal with the provoking XiMen Qing! If that’s the case, then just how talented was this young noble Ling? Furthermore, this Ling Tian was just too arrogant, actually calling such a beautiful poem nonsense. How was this trying to be humble? This was just complete arrogance!
In the eyes of everyone present, Ling Tian’s previous poem was already considered to be a fantastic piece of work almost good enough to be crowned champion. While XiMen Qing’s poem was far ahead of the other poems, it was slightly inferior as compared to Ling Tian’s poem! For the judges to rule it as a draw, it was already giving the XiMen Family a great deal of face! While XiMen Qing’s poem was outstanding, it was limited and far from being considered the work of a grandmaster. But for Ling Tian’s poem, especially the final two phrases, it was completely able to describe the tender feelings of youth in love. In love but yet unable to say a thing, wishing to confess but yet staying silent from shyness. With just these two phrases alone, it was already enough to be a work passed down for generations to come!
Furthermore, Ling Tian purposefully emphasized on the word ‘draw’ when he was speaking previously, making the faces of the judges turned red. Especially the three judges who were invited by XiMen Qing, naturally showing some biases towards XiMen Qing and greatly supporting both the poems to be ruled as a draw. As for Mister Qing and Meng LiGe, they were obviously on Ling Tian’s side but they still stuck to their principles. If they were to fight the other judges about such an issue, it would only make things ugly! Ling Tian had already won a round, and it wouldn’t do any harm to declare this round as a draw. Besides, XiMen Qing’s farewell poem also had its specialties and thus the both of them did not say anything, silently agreeing to rule this round as a draw.
Furthermore, both Mister Qing and Meng LiGe wanted to see all of Ling Tian’s abilities. If Ling Tian were to win an overwhelming victory at this moment, the both of them were worried that Ling Tian would just give up on the fight later and not reveal any of his talents anymore. With Mister Qin’s understanding of Ling Tian, he knew that Ling Tian was someone who liked to lay low, feigning a pig to eat the tigers. It was entirely possible for Ling Tian to stop revealing his talent at this moment!
At this moment, XiMen Qing was also puzzled in his heart. He was indeed trying hard to regain his reputation to rebuild his prestige. For Ling Tian to give up such a beautiful poem, wasn’t it as good as shooting himself in the foot?
With his own talent, XiMen Qing could naturally tell that Ling Tian’s poem was better than his. Thus, he was extremely nervous that the judges would rule his defeat again, causing him to lose all his reputation! He was greatly relieved the moment that he heard that the judges ruled this round to be a draw.
Now that he heard that Ling Tian wanted to give up this poem, XiMen Qing was completely at ease as he thought to himself, For a single poem to have one or two phrases capable of being passed on for generations, it requires a stroke of inspiration and most scholars would never be able to come out with anything better than that. There were even some scholars who were well-versed in multiple fields and had their fame spread across the world but were never able to come up with such a poem capable of being passed on for generations! Did Ling Tian really think that such a fantastic poem was a worthless scrap that could be found along the sides of a road? Even my own farewell poem was something which required a flash of inspiration and is my best work to date. I don’t believe this Ling Tian will be able to beat me over and over again!
Thinking about this, XiMen Qing snorted coldly, "Young noble Ling is indeed a talented individual and XiMen Qing is in awe! If young noble Ling is able to create another poem worthy of being passed down for generations, I will swear to never play with poetry in my life again!"
Ling Tian laughed and filled up his glass again. Looking at the wine in his glass, he slowly recited emotionlessly, "One who abandons me, the day yesterday cannot be kept; one who troubles me, the day today will be worrisome!"
With just these two phrases, the almost one thousand people in the Smoky Thea Tower were completely silent! XiMen Qing’s face was also completely ashen. With just these two opening phrases, this poem was definitely worthy of being passed on for generations!
Mister Qin and Meng LiGe’s faces gleamed as they looked towards Ling Tian as though they had just obtained a treasure. As they muttered these two phrases to themselves, they felt as though they had just tasted a hundred-year-old fine wine, with the strong aftertaste lingering in their mouth as they reminisced the taste of the wine!
Qian ShuiRou, Xiao YanXue, and the other ladies were completely in shock. They were all experts in this field and were fully capable of discerning good from bad. When they heard what Ling Tian said previously, they also thought that he was being extremely arrogant. But now that they had heard this beautiful opening, they stared at Ling Tian with an incredulous expression! When Ling Tian had casually opened his mouth previously, a beautiful phrase like ‘The spring winds represent my desire and rain represent my worries’ was recited. Who would have imagined that in this short 10 minutes, they would be able to hear another fantastic poem! Just how many people from the ancient times until now will be able to do that?! While Ling Tian’s talent couldn't be said to be unmatched in history and the following generations to come, it was more than enough for him to be crowned the number one talent in this generation!
Ling Tian frowned lightly as he walked out from the door of the Heavenly Moon Chamber as though he was in deep thought. Everyone couldn't help but hold in their breaths, afraid that their soft breathing might interrupt Ling Tian’s thoughts and destroy this historic work. If that happened they would definitely be scholarly sinners for life!
Ling Tian then took a few steps forward and looked up with an unrestrained demeanor like a hermit who was traveling the continent. At this moment, Ling Tian was no longer the number one silkpants, or the young noble of a Great Family. Instead, he was a broad and open-minded scholar, one who could see through all worldly affairs!
At this moment, Ling Tian’s crisp voice sounded, and he actually recited the whole poem in a single breath!
"The flock of geese migrating in autumn, one can enjoy a drink while viewing this scenery.
With the hopes of cruising the skies in flight, desiring to embrace the bright moon in one’s arms.
Just like how severing a stream with a knife increases its flow, drowning one’s sorrows with wine brings more sorrows
One cannot do as he desires in life, waiting for the time he has the freedom to float around in life!"
While the poem was already recited fully, the whole hall remained silent for a long time. Finally, someone began to lightly applaud, waking everyone up from their daze with the whole hall breaking out in thunderous applause!
What a beautiful poem this was! What a poem filled with wisdom! What an unrestrained mood! What a wise poem fully clear about worldly affairs!
What a talent he was! Even calling Ling Tian an outstanding talent wouldn’t be enough to describe one percent of Ling Tian’s talent!
Such a beautiful poem would definitely be passed on for generations to come! Ling Tian’s name would also be passed on with this poem, living on eternally!
As the applause died down, a white-haired old scholar walked forward with his body swaying. Everyone present could recognize this old scholar, he was well-renowned in the scholarly circle and was the publicly acknowledged number one scholar, Rong ZhiYu from Western Han. XiMen Qing was the disciple that he was the proudest of! Who would have thought that he would be present today? Rong ZhiYu had an upright character and was more knowledgeable than others, gaining respect from all scholars in the world! Seeing his teacher coming forward, XiMen Qing quickly went forward to support him.
Letting out a long sigh, Rong ZhiYu shook off XiMen Qing’s support and looked towards the crowd, "We are now in the territory of Sky Bearing and this old man shouldn’t be poking my nose in! However, this old man just cannot help but say something. I need to ask all the scholars in Sky Bearing something!"
Rong ZhiYu pointed at Ling Tian with his frail arms as his fingertip trembled and his voice turned hoarse. It was as though it took all he had to shout out, "Such a talent cannot even be described with the words ‘overflowing talent’ and he is a one in a thousand years genius! How did he become the number one silkpants in all of your eyes?! Are the people of Sky Bearing really that talented?"
"How can all of you even be fit to be called scholars?" Rong ZhiYu shouted, "Before this old man came here, everyone would only be filled with disdain towards the name ‘Ling Tian’. There were even some who told their children that it was better to be someone without talent than become like Ling Tian." Rong ZhiYu began laughing as tears filled his eyes, "This old man was still wondering just how horrible of a character young noble Ling must be! Now that I finally know the truth, it is really completely laughable! Completely lamentable! Completely intolerable! This is a complete destruction of something so beautiful! It is really like the saying, ‘The lack of talent is a virtue, who can be compared to Ling Tian?’ The foolishness of the world can really be seen!"
"Young noble Ling, this old man apologizes for my prejudice towards you before today!" As he said that, Rong ZhiYu gave a bow to Ling Tian. Before Ling Tian could even reply, Rong ZhiYu had already straightened his back and shouted, "Today, this old man will shamelessly give a title to Ling Tian on behalf of the scholars in the world! With young noble Ling’s age and talent, while there may be others like him in the future, he is definitely the first in history! He is definitely capable of being the number one poet in the world! Does anyone have an objection?"

Murasaki was alone on his apartment, focusing on making the perfect song. He doesn't work as much because he saved enough money for himself. His comics and songs were always popular enough to give him good income. For now, he wanted to rest, and enjoy his self for a while. But he felt stressed now that things aren't going on his favor.

Who knew making a song about someone you love is actually this hard? Especially for him, who wanted everything to be perfect.

Crumpled papers were scattered on his floor, as continuous cursing could be heard from his mouth.

His fingers were hurting already from trying and trying to make a beautiful tune.

He felt tired already, and perhaps was worrying that he may not finish it on time. His fingers slipped and a horrible sound emitted from his guitar.

He cursed again.

Sighed then looked at the half finished lyrics on his hands.

He closed his eyes, then cleared his throat, shifting his body on his bed on a more comfortable spot.

Then opened his eyes again, getting lost on the music as he began strumming.

"I'll choose you always, everyday,
Believe me, for my heart won't sway," 

"'Cause whenever I look at your eyes,
I could see nothing, but sheer paradise,"

His fingers continued to move, surprisingly, it sounded well enough. A soft, heart warming melody matching with the lyrics. 

He smiled to himself and wrote the chords on his note book.

He cleared his throat once more, then began to let the mood take him.

His voice became softer, sweeter, as he began to sing the next phrases.

"I love you, more than one would ever know,
That I'm conflicted, if I should fight or let you go...,"

He stopped midway, his words..they weren't part of the lyrics he wrote. It just came from his mouth. And he didn't like the lyrics at all. 

He frowned, then remembered Red. 

No.

He won't lose to him. 

MURASAKI: Scratch that. No way I'm letting you go.

He said, adjusting his strings.

He gave a long breath, then began fixing his song.

"I love you, more than one could ever know,
I love you, more than I could ever show..."

...

Red purchased a book about improving one's vocals and a cheap guitar. He felt a little embarrassed as well, because eyes were fixed on him wherever he goes.

He teleports on a forest not too far from Tokyo to try his 'music' out. But...it didn't  turn out well for him.

He looks at the instrument on his hands, and felt troubled knowing what each string means. It felt like someone scraping the surface of metal the first few tries. He wanted to give up, and his hands were already exhausted as well.

He began to watch the YouTube tutorials he downloaded earlier instead. But immediately got tired and bored because it takes so long. 

The red reaper then proceeded to sing, but each time his voice would crack. It felt like listening to a dying rabbit. And maybe if he actually sung like that in front of his friends, they will never look at him the same again. Even the slumbering birds began scattering, flying away by the sound of his voice, even if it was still winter and it was still cold. Yes. He was that bad. Bad enough that animals would rather freeze than hear him singing. 

RED: Sh*t, this is so damn hard, how do humans reach that high?!

He said, while scratching his head. He was so angry and frustrated that the snow near him began to melt. 

He tried again, and again, and again, but to no luck. He can't sing, alright.

Red began to panic, but then calmed himself down, reminding his self that it's just bumpy because he was just beginning.

Meanwhile at home.
GABBY: So, where did Red go, Humility? And what is he doing now?
HUMILITY: Uh...something important.

GABBY: Like?

HUMILITY: Defeating uh, demons.
GABBY: Oh. Okay. Wait really?
HUMILITY: Yeah.
GABBY: Why him and not you?
HUMILITY: He said he'll handle it. Don't worry about him. He knows what he's doing.
GABBY: Okay!

RED: I so don't know what I'm doing! Ugh! I'll never learn!

He threw the guitar on a nearby tree and it gave out a loud thump. The snow on its branches fell and a bit of it even covered Red's scalp. That made him more irritated. 

He was so angry. If he can't even sing, nor even finish a nursery song, how much more can he be better than him?

Wait...

Is that why he's doing this? So he can compete with Murasaki?

He felt even angrier. He began kicking the tree until it eventually broke. That stunned the red reaper.

RED: Red...there's no point if you just want to impress her. Do it for yourself.

He reminded. But...deep down, he don't feel motivated enough to do it for himself.

RED: Sooner or later, she's gonna love him back...

RED: Then...say what you want to say secretly. Without telling her. That would make you feel...better.

As silly as he feels, talking to himself, he followed his own advice.
He closed his eyes, then began to whisper the words that's been playing in his mind for a long time.

He may not be able to say the phrases in his head with a sweet melodic tune, but what he said were raw thoughts from his heart and mind.

He finished, heart racing as he realized that he might actually make a good decent song, if it weren't for his lack of melody and as what he calls it, 'dumb slippery fingers'.

He laughed at himself, saying just how stupid he've become. He never had imagined himself saying those sugary, flowery words. It felt so not like him. He began laughing more, until a familiar lady in white formed out of nowhere.

RED: T-Tanken?

TANKEN: Yeah, I told you I'll follow you. And don't you forget, you permitted me to do this.
RED: Uh, so, what do you want?

TANKEN: Well, it is clear that you made that for someone you like.
RED: Uh, so you heard me?
TANKEN: Yes, I mean, how wouldn't I? I heard everything. I almost left, the first parts were...to be honest, horrible.

RED: Well thank you for hurting my feelings.
TANKEN: And you're welcome. 

RED: So uh, can...can you sing it and stuff?
TANKEN: Yes. Better than your ugly ramblings.
RED: Wait...uh, you're doing this for free, right?
TANKEN: Heh, maybe.
RED: Maybe?
TANKEN: Hm, do you really love her?
Red looked away shyly, his ears in deep red.
The snow spirit smiled teasingly, then began to hum, singing the phrases he said, but with more confidence, tune and melody.

It felt more alluring.
After Tanken finished, Red was left mesmerized and speechless. It was so beautiful.

RED: Can you teach me how to sing like that?
TANKEN: Heh, sure. I'll teach you, but that is, if you'd give me a ki-

RED: Thank you Tanken! You're a great friend!
TANKEN: A...a kitten.

RED: What? A kitten?

TANKEN: Nevermind. (I actually wanted a kiss, but the friend thing ruined the mood)
RED: So can you teach me now?
TANKEN: Sure sweetheart, so chest out.

Murasaki stared at his finished lyrics. It felt okay enough, so he recorded it. 

That night, Gabby received a message, it was MJ's song. 

He felt nervous when Gabby's icon popped up.

Gabby texted,
(I am so flattered. But MJ, this is a love song, you know how I feel about you.)

Wait...did Murasaki just spend a fr*king whole day just to be rejected again?

Gabby then called him.

MURASAKI: Hello?
GABBY: Dude everyone deserves second chances, but no one deserves to be second choice, I love you so much, but I don't want to keep you waiting. You're my best friend, I don't want to ruin that.

MURASAKI: But if you just...try it.

GABBY: Sorry MJ, you know I'm still not ready.

MURASAKI: I'll wait for you then.
GABBY: I don't want to use you. 

MURASAKI: Give me a chance.

GABBY: MJ...please.
MURASAKI: Gabby, please...if you just let me, I promise you, we'll work.

Gabby held her breath, thinking what to reply, Murasaki on the other hand, was sweating nervously, anticipating of what her response would be.

MURASAKI: Gab?

Gabby ended the call.
















With added years her eyes becomes stronger, seeing beings that are not from this world. The older she get, the more she sees...the closer she seems to the other dimension that are usually feared by many. 

While her bloodline holds responsible for her curse, she tried her best to live the most normal life she could in such a scary...monster filled world. But something felt oddly fascinating about her first reaper she witnessed one nignt. He have beautiful eyes, it felt so new, and yet familiar. 

Though the beauty of such creatures were swept away when other stronger beings became fascinated with her in turn. The reaper who saw her that fateful night, though usually tasked to mow the souls of the dead, now proceeds to protect her instead.
