Today my exams are finished. Medical exams are hectic but after finishing my third year of college exam I feel relaxed. 

So after finishing my last paper I call my Mother and I say "Hello, Mummy" 

she told me "Hello Aarya.how was the paper? You left the hostel or not?" 

I said to her that "my paper was good and I will leave in twenty minutes " 

And after that, I cut off the call. 

Then I left my room after checking one last time in the room that I didn't forget to take anything. 

My college campus is quite big. It has different faculties colleges. It also has many hostels. Hostels are different according to fees and facilities. Boys and girls hostels are at some distance. 

After finishing the exam I'm going back home after a month so it feels good. 

My home is in Ahmedabad two hours away from my college in Baroda. Going back home after finishing my exams is a very different feeling. My close friends are from different places and my other classmates who are from Ahmedabad take too much time to get ready for going back home and I don't like to wait when it comes to going back home. So I prefer to go alone to the home. While walking towards the campus main gate I was thinking all this. 

After changing the rides I reach the bus stop. I love the window seats on the bus so I took that seat before someone else could take that. Sitting on the window seat and listening to music are my favourite things. 

I plugged the earphones into my phone and started playing music. 

I feel like music has the power to change my moods. I have Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi, English and South Indian languages like Telugu and Malayalam language songs in my playlist. I don't understand all languages but I love music so I have all these languages songs in my playlist. 

I feel like music is like an emotion. Sometimes I don't understand the lyrics of different languages but I feel the music and emotions. Music works as a healing process for me. 

The bus starts and my songs playlist also starts on my phone and with the background music, my thoughts also start to rewind my memory of how from the first time going to university to today my love for college increases and how my friendship gets stronger and stronger day by day with my lovely friends. I write a list even about which movies and web series I have to watch during this one-week vacation. And after travelling for about two hours, my journey ends on the bus. 

I reach home and hug my mother, father, and my little brother. They all are waiting for me since I have called them saying that I left the hostel and I'm on my way back home. 

I have always felt blessed for having a lovely family. After a long time eating home food is a great feeling. 

After eating food I sat with my little brother Raj and we had a little talk about everything and I got to know that in December we have to go to my cousin's sister's wedding. I have known that she is going to marry this year-end or maybe next year but I don't know that dates will get fixed this soon. So after hearing this news I called her. 

I said "hello Meera" 

and she told me "hello Aarya" 

and I told her that 'today after finishing my exam I came home and got to know that your marriage date is fixed after one month.' 

She told me that As my exam was going on so she did not call me for this matter because she didn't want that during the exam. I got busy thinking about her marriage and got distracted in exam study. 

So she has decided to call me after my exams are finished. 

She asked me 'how were your exams?' and I told her that' the exams were good'. 

She told me how she wants me with her on her very special day as her dearest sister to be with her in all her rituals. 

so I assure her that I will be with her in every ritual and after talking about many things I hang up the call. 

After talking to her I felt a little emotional because it's her wedding and I will miss her. After the wedding also we can be in touch but a wedding is something that is going to give a change in her life and as well as the people close to her. 

She is very close to me and after hearing that her marriage is after one month I got excited and emotional because she is the one after my friends with whom I can share anything without any hesitation and I love her. 

Weddings of a sister always bring happiness with tears in the eyes. There is only one month remaining in the wedding so I have to do lots of preparation for the wedding. I have to buy dresses and also very charming lehenga for her wedding. 

At night I asked my mother when she is free so that we can go shopping. My mother has a very good test at shopping so it's good that we both will go shopping together to buy clothes. My father has always stayed away from coming together for shopping. My father does not hesitate to give us money but gets hesitant when it's about his shopping. They never say no to us about our shopping but when his turn comes he starts making excuses. But this time no excuse because my whole family is excited about Meera's wedding. So we all planned to go shopping together on Sunday. 

So this Sunday I will go shopping to buy everything I need to wear in different rituals of her marriage. 

A whole week passed by watching my favourite movies and web series and to my surprise, I had not left anything from my list. 

My mother wants to make all my favourite dishes which I want to eat and like every time my brother has argued that when you're not at home mummy didn't make my favourite dishes and tells me that she will make it when I come home and when I come home she gives priority to my favourite dishes and don't make his favourite dishes. So this time also that argument continues and I tell my mother to make his favourite dishes when he wants, but don't give the promise to him to make it when I come home. So a week passes with eating homemade food made by my mother and some days I made my brother's favourite dishes. 

On Sunday we go to different shopping stores to buy clothes and return back with so many shopping bags. After returning home we all are exhausted. My brother and father try the clothes one by one which we bought today and they both look really stunning. My mother and I then get busy deciding what to wear in which rituals. And the time at home passes too quickly. My holidays get over. Tomorrow I have to go to my college for the fourth year of medical college and after that, I have one year of internships. So my journey of college is about an end. 

I choose to become a doctor because of my love for study and helping people. I want to cure the patient and give happiness to them and their families by curing them. I love my journey in my college life because I learned many things and made close friends who became like family. 

My hostel life teaches me many things. 

It took me more than six months to adjust with the hostel mess food, still, it didn't give me satisfaction and tests like food made by my mother. 

The worst thing about hostel life is that no matter how much time I ignore mess food and go out to eat Pizza or anything in the canteen I still miss food made by my mother. 

It's like you don't value the things when you have it but when that goes away from you or you lose it you start giving it value. 

Late-night Maggie making in hostels gives the vibe of becoming a chef once again and feels like it's still better than today's mess food. 

No matter how hard I try to ignore mess food but still after eating the same type of food from canteen many times I start going mess and after that, till this year I start going mess when I'm at the hostel and didn't go only when I'm not at a hostel or when I feel that it's better to avoid mess food and eat something from campus canteen. 

Hostel life teaches me the value of home food and specially made by my mother. 

Late-night Maggie making, doing late-night talks with my roommate, watching movies together till late night are something which occurred rarely but whatever happened I enjoyed a lot in the hostel. 

In the initial days, it was worse for me to live in the hostel but with time I started enjoying my hostel life. 

And now this journey is about an end with many beautiful memories. 

While thinking all this when I got the sleep I don't remember.

"What kind of love do you want from me?" Aarav asked Aarya. 

 " I want you to love me Till You Can. I don't want you to say anything in pressure. I want you to realize your feelings for me from your heart. I only want your love from your heart."
Aarya told Aarav. 

Aarav is a guy who doesn't want to fall in love with his friend Aarya because he is afraid of falling in love and to accept his feelings towards her. Aarya wants that he realises his feelings without having any fear about love. 

Aarya is a medical student who was always focused on her studies and she fell in love for the first time with Aarav. Aarya is a girl loved by all the people around her. 

Aarav is an Engineer student who is interested in making his career in singing. For other people, he is a kind of guy who can express only one emotion that's anger. Only people who are close to him knew him properly.

His mom bustled into his room interrupting his musings as she opened the mechanical blinds on the far wall. 
"Morning ma hows it going." John smirked at his mother.
Glaring at John she replied, "You know I dislike you talking like your grandfather. You've had the best instruction in 8 different languages. And you have a  grasp of the English language that would put a Oxford Professor to shame but you want to talk as though you grew up on a farm in Texas."

"You always told me emulate the men I want to be like, honor them with my actions. Be truest self not the one that makes sense but the one my inner self knows well. I love gramps and his stories of living on a farm, hunting, fishing, camping, and yes, sometimes acting a fool. But always honest sometimes to a fault, and willing to give his all at whatever he does. I figure I'd be like that if it wasnt for Dad's money and this disease. So since I'm starting a new life or something I'm gonna be the simple, honest, hardworking farmboy I've always dreamed of being." smiling he looks into his mother's wet eyes.
 
Wiping a tear away, "You at least wont have a problem acting the fool. Fine be yourself. Anyways it's time to go the final interviewer is here now."

As John is pushed out to the balcony he spies a young woman of about 25 sitting at the table with a briefcase and a laptop.
"Hi I'm Amelia Burns, the caseworker in charge of informing you of the results of your previous interviews and diagnostic." holding her hand out she then realizes her must and blushes while trying to stammer an apology.
"Its fine, you were just trying to be polite. Anyways what's the verdict? Can I enter the game?" John asked smiling to show he wasnt upset.
Smiling Amelia began, "First let me say congratulations you did in fact qualify and apparently will be ready to upload in as little as 1 more week so you'll be going on Launch Day. Since you've already signed off on all the legal documents you know you will be uploaded in our secure facilities in Mars. The subterranean system your father engineered for us is capable  supporting all the servers for the game as well as having an area roughly the size of the U.K. reserved specifically for the medical wing PODS. Any questions so far?"
 
Seeing him shake his head in the negative (one of the few movements he can still make) she continues. "Ok well as you know you wont be using the typical deep dive PODS as the dive (in game upload) can only last 3 months at most. Instead you will be using the state of the art Galaxy Walker PODS. Its call that because if the procedure is deemed a success these pods will be introduced to the space exploration teams for exploration of the full galaxy and beyond. But that's neither here nor there.

"The game performs a scan of the body to determine the starting body and attributes there in. However there were allowances made for amputees and others with debilitating conditions so they can still enjoy the world of Aether Unleashed. Unfortunately there will still be some limitations."

"What limitations exactly are you referring to Ms. Burns? And are the permanent?" 

"To answer you're second question first- No they are not permanent. The actual limitations are not precisely know just that you will start with abysmally low stats and therefore suffer in the beginning. But you'll be able to train you body the same there as most do here with much fast results at least at the lower levels." 

"To compensate you will be given a few choices of semi-unique abilities based on abilities you possess in real life. In fact I'm hear to find which three you'd like to acquire. Here's the list that we've compiled. "

John scans through the list quickly reading his options. It doesn't take long as there are only 5 choices there.

1.  Aether's Blessing- due to intense neurological tempering you're body is more suited to Aether 
skills with cast times are 10% faster
2. Aether's Will- due to surviving intense pain under prolonged periods of time your Willpower is 5 levels higher for all will checks
3. Aether's Tongue- due to intense study of many languages you have developed a knack for learning other tongues
any time you can gain context for a language you can learn it twice as fast if written and can learn spoken languages if you hear at least one sentence for common languages and 5 sentences for Ancient ones
4.Aether's Light- due to finding hope and faith in seemingly impossible suffering gain extra 5% skill gain with holy/unholy skills
5.Aether's Shield- due to an unlucky start gain PVP immunity for entirety of stay in Aether Unleashed 

As he looked at the list he immediately rejected Aether's Shield as he wanted to explore and fight like everyone else. He then removed Light as while he did like the idea of faster skill gains he couldn't see himself playing as some kind of healer or dark knight/mage. He struggled with that choice but if he was going to be in a world for at least 8 years he didnt want to play as a class he wouldn't enjoy.

You can find a class trainer or attempt to make your own class and have it approved by the gods of Tiranan, the land of Aether Unleashed. The name comes from Tir Nan Og or The Land of Youth from Celtic myth. I'd stick with a traditional class as they're easier to play but there are plenty of rare and amazing classes as well. Besides there are already several hundreds of classes with tens of specializations for each. When more if Tiranan is opened up to the explorers from our world some more rare or unique classes may be found."

Eight years passed ....
Azmya has already passed that bleak period. Where at that time she had to lose everything. Losing Jun, losing people's trust and even her parents' trust, and losing her first love.
For Azmya, that bad incident just happened yesterday. How should she be willing was expelled from school even though she was not proven to use drugs  but still she was expelled during her time at the last level of high school. And the bad thing did not end there, not long after she was expelled, Azmya was forced to leave Indonesia without meeting Jun at all at that time. She had to follow her parents who had threatened her that if a problem happened again she had to go to Japan to her grandfather's house there to study there.
Her mother was of Japanese descent and married her Indonesian nationality dad.  And Azmya does have Japanese blood and her grandfather who came from Japan eventually asked him to take care of Azmya and send her there.
 
Even though those eight years seemed long, for Azmya until now she hasn't been able to erase all those bad memories. Until now she couldn't forget Jun. She felt tight whenever she thought of anything that reminded her of Jun. Even now she closes herself to other men. Not that she was expecting to see Jun again. But because her heart could not open again even though she was twenty-six years old now, she never wanted to date and never wanted to have a close relationship with any man.
Azmya has also been in Japan for eight years past high school, she also spent her college days in Japan. Now she is also working at a company called Konami Group which is engaged in fashion and cosmetics in Japan.
This company already has various branches in various Asian countries, one of which is Indonesia. And as an Indonesian citizen, Azmya feels lucky for the first time joining the company. And she's been working there for two years. Now her position and position at Konami Group has quite an important role in the company, namely as the Head Manager of the Advertising and Promotion of her company's products locally and globally.
Mommy and Daddy are quite proud of her achievement. They often visit her every month or two. Although her daddy is also a businessman in Indonesia, Azmya does not want to work at her daddy company because Azmya wants her to be successful based on her own achievements. "Hffffftttttttt!" Azmya just blew the hair on her forehead a sign that she had not done the work either.
"I just checked the list of marketing strategy plans," Azmya replied.
"Good, I just give you advice, from that list there is a model that is currently being loved by all young people now and it is very suitable if our products are for young people," said Akira convincingly.
Azmya only responded with a nod of her head without intending to further discuss the truth.
"Who?" Azmya asked without turning her head and returned to continue her work by checking the slides on her monitor screen again.
"SEVEN-F," Akira replied.
Azmya had never or never even heard of the name Seven-F.

BIBLIOGRAPHY: The doctrine of the Bible
THEOLOGY: the proper doctrine of God. What about the improper doctrine of God? Why did I ask this question?  I asked because, if there is a proper fraction, there should be improper fraction. One thing we don't seem to understand is the idea of secretly hiding the very reality of things and presents what looks like the real as the proper and the proper is now hidden or presented as the improper. I am going somewhere with the point I am trying to make and the point is clear. I mean, if we are sensitive to judge things by the method of fruit, we will discover, what we termed proper is actually portraying the character of the improper and this is because the devil design a strategy of presenting bit by bit the improper in what they termed proper and this is where we have deviation in most of our Christian doctrine today, and it all boils down to the origin from where the name Christians was birthed and the underlying intent of the devil through the world in Acts 11: 26 which gave us a definition of Christianity as Like-Christ which is not different from the reality picture in Genesis 3: 5 which the devil deceived us to want to present ourselves like God the moment we become selfish. The problem of Christianity is self and if we can understand this truth, we will cease from our own ways and follow God's ordained way. The world will soon come to know the mask behind religion and the truth religion presents to us is simply deception in disguise.
CHRISTOLOGY: the doctrine of Jesus Christ, this was simply designed by man, because if you read your Bible, Jesus did not say this my doctrine and the reason why I am saying this even as I am being led is, the church have not really come to know who Jesus is, so they end up creating a kind of dichotomy that is raising more dust and causing more controversies, such that even within the fold of Christianity, they are conflicting views and this is the major cause for split that results into what we call denomination today. My stand is and my stand is what He had revealed to me in His way (Jesus Christ) and that stand is my testimony and my testimony is simply Jesus is God who came to cancel the wages of sin with the condition of His grace to rescue man back to Himself, if such man acknowledge His way (truth) and believe in His name (Jesus Christ). If Jesus is being presented as a doctrine, the world will not see to know that He is God, but will see Him as man sent by God and this is what is causing serious confusion in Christianity today and most orthodox Christians is beginning to embrace the lies from the pit of hell that the Bible is not the Word of God. Jesus Christ is not a man that can be studied, He is not a great prophet, He is not what people think He is, as wrong perceived when they call Him Son of God which needs Divine enablement to truly reach the knowledge of what that mean, which I have elaborately taking my time to explain in most of my books, Jesus is truly God, take it or leave it, every man is entitled to whatever he wants to believe, but this is my resolve, believe and my confession.
John was the man sent by God, just the way we have train of lists of men whom God has used in the old time and men whom God is still using in our time and you are also one, just the way I am and it is my mandate to point you to some Divine truth most of our churches may not point you to. The Bible never said, "Jesus was a man sent by God", but said, "He is a gift of love that was given up for our sin". PNEUMATOLOGY: the doctrine of the Holy Spirit (Beware of the Quakers and Shakers).
ANGELOGY: the doctrine of angels (including Satan and demons). We need such, if it is not deceptions, why presenting to us what does not exist in the light? No demons, even Satan himself cannot stand the light of God's glory, therefore, all we need to do is draw nearer to God and all that is patterning the reality of what we need to know patterning life and godliness, He will teach us. A lot of people ended up becoming possess by evil spirit all in the name of going to study in theological schools and come out with all kinds of gimmicks and strange concepts of ministering the Word of God which is far from the ordained. I have personally seen things with my naked eyes, when I was in Lagos while I visited life Bible Seminary.
ANTHROPOLOGY: the doctrine of man (which man?). I asked this question because the Bible gave us a picture of what man is and how desperate and wicked his heart is. This could be pointing to the Anti-Christ who has the number of man….
The list goes on and on...
I am not saying the doctrines are wrong, I am only saying these doctrines has been misinterpreted and a lot of things has been added and a lot of things has been taken out of them and what is left now, seem to live us in utter confusion such that we end up speaking different languages (preaching never aligning messages) for one God. God understands just one language and that language understands all languages and that language is love that must be in truth and in spirit.  Love is what births faith in the face of trust, releasing grace in the place of humility, such that, all of God's desire for and from us is to obey His command and do His will in order to rest in His eternal love. Why did I say, "For" and "From us"? This is because, God's desire for us is more important than our desire for ourselves and His desire for us is what will ignite our passion to do what He desire from us. Simply to explain this, we can only love God out of the abundance of love He has for us.
These endless list of doctrines will live us more confuse if we have not first truly encounter God and that is why we have Bible with big titles, but have not the character of God, proud and pompous, thinking their pompous is a ticket to authenticate the truth they know about God.
Do not be deceived!

Consciously or subconsciously, life is a force that drags us in, deep into dimensions. 
We are married from birth to our purpose in life in one way or the other even without knowing, but faith in God will bring us face to face with this reality.
 Even if we do whatever to run away from this reality, it will somehow find us and drag us into aligning to who we truly are beyond the knowledge impressed us by the mind rebranding system in the form of secular and religious education, and we now think, we are what they told us we are. 
This is the reason for misplacement of our true identity in God and that is why we often struggle for recognition instead of staying to whom God has created us to be. Journey into the deep!
I grew up to know myself as an alien in this world of some certain happenings around my life, which gave me a course of concern. It seems as if I think differently and see things from a different dimension and I could not just understand why then, while I was growing as a child, but now I know and understand better.
This book is spirit breathed revealing a journey into great awareness, pointing to the realization of self beyond self-designed ideologies.
A lot of things that was happening in my life while I was advancing from the cradle that I could not just explain, because it was my days of ignorance, evolving into the more complex world that threw me into chaotic state of thoughts, not knowing exactly what to hinge on as reality. There were things that kept recurring and calling my attention deeper and these things were never letting me be. One of the notable experiences I had, that I will never forget, was the experience of recurring convulsion that almost ruined my life. 
God can never let you be when you have His Divine seal, you are not your own, you are His very own, the earlier you know this, the sweeter will life become for you, and the swifter things will answer to you and work in your favor even when it seems working against others. "YOU DREAMED of an angel?"
           Louel chuckled. "Let's just say yes and that event made me realized I am still blessed and still have the chance to change my future."
           "At least you and your dad are getting along well."
           "You're right. Papa stopped working for two years and recuperates. Our reconciliation helped him that's why after one year, he'd recovered through physical therapy and just this year, he was able to travel alone. When he came home, he got married again and I thought he didn't learn his lesson but I realized that after decades, he's truly in love, at last," he happily narrated.
           "You're really comfortable in talking about your life," she noticed.
           "What do I need to hide? Like I've said before, everyone who knows I and my family knew our lives. People can use our past as a weakness and even if those things had hurt me but it won't kill me and what doesn't kill me makes me stronger," he told firmly and confidently. characters that are handsome, rich –particularly CEO or president of a big company, have foreign blood, tall, with chiselled jawline, deep-piercing stares, have six to eight pack abs, can speak three to five languages, drinking coffee in a famous coffee shop o eating three times a day in expensive restaurants, have luxurious cars, own mansions, yacht, airplane, chopper or island, have baritone voice, always wear coat-and-tie and know self-defence," his litany. Claire even saw the personal list he made of the mentioned qualities and it made her laughed hilariously. She wondered how many dozen of novels Louel had read to come up with that list. Maybe he also had a book review of those, she thought. "Here's more. If not a billionaire, the male lead could be a gangster or a mafia," he added with worries in his face. "Do you know Al Capone? He was a gangster and not handsome."
"Why did you even read those?" she's still laughing.
"You said that you're read in novels those plots that include bet, challenge or prank to make the girl fall in love then be hurt at the end. I read those plots here and they're quite a lot. I watched movies with the same plot too and although most of them turned good afterwards, I don't think it should happen to anyone," Louel said with a sigh.
           "You didn't do those things so you shouldn't have worried."
           "You believe me?" he asked and she nodded. "Thanks."
           "So, with all those many romance novels that you've read, what's your conclusion?"
           "That most women like men who look like drawn from mythologies with regards to physical appearance and that women like men who can give them comfort not just emotionally but materially," he seriously said and it amazed her. He didn't just read, he also analyzed what he'd read. "I just don't understand the gangster and mafia thing. Women can get trauma from those kinds of men as well as abuse. Those guys might give women material things but what's the point of those if your life is always in danger?"
           Claire laughed again because it seemed like Louel was really affected by those novels.
           "I think you pass those standards," she said, still laughing.
           "Standards of what? Those leading men in romance novels?" he confirmed and she nodded while trying not to laugh. Louel looked at his list again and his thick eyebrows met with disagreement. "Like I said, I'm not perfect. Well, I'm handsome and have foreign blood since I'm a quarter Italian. Is five feet nine inches tall?"
           "Tall for an average Filipino, yes."
           "My jawline is quite chiselled but my stares are not sharp and I don't have abs although I'm not also plump. Just balanced. I only know two languages. I don't mind which café I go into as long as it has brewed coffee and I like to eat at home. I have a car but it only looks new even it's already old. My father owns this big house and I live in a small condo unit. I don't have a baritone voice, I don't always wear coat-and-tie and I don't know self-defense although I'm pretty sure that I know how to give some punch when needed. Most of all –"
           "Yeah. You're not a gangster or a member of mafia."
           "Correct. So therefore I conclude, I'm not a Mattpad leading man material," he happily declared and she applauded while chuckling. Claire's not sure if he's just acting or if he's just naturally naïve. "I also don't like to become women's fantasy. Women deserve real men; those who know how to take care of you and who won't exchange you for someone else. Even if it's an ordinary employee as long as he's hardworking and won't hurt you," he added.
           "It looks like you're having a good conversation," Gil noticed when he's back. "I could hear Claire's laugh from the inside."
           "We're talking about Mattpad, Pa," Louel answered.
           "If that's a millennial thing then I won't be able to relate," Gil said and turned to Claire then handed her a white envelope. "Do your best on your defense," he said with a smile.
           "Thank you," she said then looked at the envelope's contents and wondered because the amount inside were much bigger that she expected. "Sir, I think you've mistaken –"
           "Czarie and I talked about it."
           "Claire, dear, please bring this also with you," Czarie interrupted while walking towards then with a paper bag. Claire was sure that there's food inside the bag because it was not the first time that Czarie had given her food. The woman knew that Claire had to work after their session so she's used to give her food afterwards. Claire had also been the taster of the Filipino dishes that Czarie had been cooking. "I think this adobo is more masarap than the previous one. I also included some mixed fruits," the woman said delightedly. 
           "Oh, you didn't have to do that," Claire said shyly.
           "I don't mind doing abala. I like to pamper my friend," she said and turned to her husband. "Gil, okay na?" she asked and the husband nodded. "Mabuti!"
           "Thank you, Czarie, Sir Gil," she didn't know what to say for the gratefulness she felt.
           "Walang anuman," Czarie responded, it meant 'you're welcome'.
           "I have to go now."
           "I'll drive you to your next work," Louel volunteered and it wasn't the first time he did it. 
"Pa, Nay, we're going."
           "Lucho, this is for you," Czarie gave her stepson another paper bag with food.
           "Thanks, Nay," he said and kissed his 'nanay' on the cheek.
           "Be careful while driving," Gil reminded his son. After few minutes, she and Louel left the house.

Claire couldn’t understand why a man like Louel would take an interest of her. Her only redeeming qualities were her brain and perseverance while the man had all the qualities every woman would dream of. He was both beauty and brain… although she sometimes doubted the brain part since Louel had his own fair share of quirkiness. Nevertheless, Claire always found herself mesmerized by his honesty, confidence and humility. Even his peculiarity made Louel so real that Claire started to develop a feeling which she tried suppressed for her own sake. Louel didn’t hide his intentions towards her and he didn’t even shy away after all the avoidance she did.
For Claire Franquia, he was way out of her league.

Zhao Yu had just hung up Miao Ying's call as the high-speed train whizzed past.

"You must be kidding!" Zhao Yu answered calmly. "You don't know my Miaomiao! As I was explaining this to her she had nothing but compliments for me, saying that I'm a role model detective, an elite of the police team… you get the idea. I'm willing to sacrifice my time and energy to find out the truth and bring justice to the victims. Not to mention I have exceptionally high IQ and EQ…" Cui Lizhu couldn't stop rolling her eyes as Zhao Yu spoke.
"Fine, you were right, I got an earful. Are you happy now?" Zhao Yu admitted.
"Tsk!" Cui Lizhu lazily picked up a bottle, taking numerous sips from it.
"Actually, Miao Ying scolded me for two reasons. The first was that she was worried about my safety," Zhao Yu reasoned. "The second was because she was mad that I wasn't bringing her along. She wants to be here cracking cases with me but, because of the Gao Lanqi case, she can't leave. What a pity!"
"Hmph, I'll give you two additional reasons!" Cui Lizhu responded. "Reason three, you have created a new investigations unit. How do you think she feels about this newfound independence you have? Lastly, and most importantly, she doesn't want you to be so close to me! You're getting engaged in June. There's no way she's…"
"Don't be ridiculous. I know Miaomiao, she's not that petty!" Zhao Yu said confidently. "If she didn't trust me, we wouldn't have lasted this long. You don't know what we've been through in the past. Our love has transcended life and death, this is nothing! You've never experienced it personally, so you probably don't understand what that feels like. Even if you attempted to seduce me it would be of no use, I will never stray from Miao Ying for you!"
"Go to h*ll! Don't you think your narcissism is a tad disgusting?" Cui Lizhu asked. "If that was my intention, I would have come for you at the start! I… uh…" Cui Lizhu put her arm around Zhao Yu's shoulders. "I only treat you as a boss!"
"That's right!" Zhao Yu nodded with satisfaction. He felt that Cui Lizhu was hugging him a little too tightly, so he tried to push her away. While doing so, either accidentally or subconsciously on purpose, he touched her chest. An awkward silence fell over them as some crows were flying past. Cui Lizhu's face flushed red and she quickly gulped down the rest of her drink. Awkwardly, Zhao Yu looked away and began to whistle.
As they had passed the peak transportation time, there were not many people left on the train towards Feng Ping. A quick glance showed that almost half the cabin was empty. "Oh right, boss, do you know the people the higherups sent?" Cui Lizhu asked to break the silence. "Why does it feel like I know they'll be difficult to handle before I've even met them?"
"I don't know them at all!" Zhao Yu said. "The leader will be coming from Foreign Affairs. I've already asked Ma Ruinkui and he said that this person is an elite. Apparently, he used to be in charge of events involving Japan and Korea and can speak seven languages!"
"Hmph!" Cui Lizhu snorted. "What's the point of knowing even 100 languages? We're here to crack cases, isn't he just a figurehead? I think he's just here to steal your glory and your money!"
"I'm not too sure about the details, we can only wait till he's here to find out the truth," Zhao Yu sighed. "He's rushing back from overseas now. If all goes well, we might be able to meet him tomorrow! Until then, the rest of the people should have gathered already!"
"I don't get it…" Cui Lizhu shook her head. "Why does this case concern foreign affairs? Don't tell me that these five people were killed by a foreign spy?"
"That's hard to say!" Zhao Yu said. "Think about it. If these five people's deaths were linked to the treasure then it's possible! Russia and Japan could have participated, who knows? The higherups are just preparing for the worst-case scenario."
"Oh…" Cui Lizhu said. She looked at her surroundings warily and whispered. "If that's really the case then we have to be especially careful!"
"Of course!" Zhao Yu replied. He looked at the system in his head. Since opening the hexagram, he had kept the Invisible Detector activated to check his surroundings and movements. "But…" Zhao Yu continued. "There is something I'm not clear about. Your dad, Tao Xiang, didn't indicate how he obtained those 16 names! Did he find them one by one, or did he get them from some other channel? Think about it! If the last five people were murdered, then could the murderer have some relation to your dad?"
"Hmm, about that…" Cui Lizhu frowned. "What you're saying is that someone else might have the same list of names as my dad?"
"That's possible, but it's all just conjecture!" Zhao Yu said. "With no strong evidence we cannot jump to any conclusions right now!"
"Right, for all we know those five deaths were just a coincidence! If it really is a coincidence, then we've wasted all our effort!" Cui Lizhu said helplessly. "In the end, not only will we not be able to find the treasure, my house will be gone, and it all will have been for nothing!"
"That's what we say, but…" Zhao Yu whispered. "Based on my experience, the chance of this kind of coincidence is close to zero!"
"Oh? Why's that?" Cui Lizhu asked, her eyes widening.
"Because the five deaths happened in the order of the list of names!" Zhao Yu said. "The name at the top died first, while the name at the bottom died last.
