Matahari terbit di sebelah timur, burung berkicau dan udara musim panas bergerak bebas di perkemahan. Diva dan Vincent keluar dari perkemahan sambil mengecup matanya sementara Pak Sheldon tertidur di api unggun setelah patroli semalaman. Pak Rowles bangun dari tidurnya dan segera mengambil airnya untuk membalas kejadian kemarin.

Pak Sheldon terbangun dengan guyuran air yang dilemparkan oleh Pak Rowles. Ia membuka matanya dengan paksa dan darahnya mulai menaik. Pak Sheldon langsung bangun dan menatap Pak Rowles yang sudah mengguyurnya dengan ember.

Pak Sheldon pun marah dan membentak, "Hey, anak mama! Kenapa kau lakukan itu, dasar p*******g?"

Pak Rowles pun mencela Pak Sheldon dan berdebat, "Ha, salah sendiri kau yang menyiramku saat aku tertidur," dengan raut ketidakakuran.

"Aku sudah bermalam untuk patroli, dasar b***h!" Murka Pak Sheldon karena ia lelah begadang hanya dengan patroli. Ini tidak salah. Ia sudah melakukannya dengan baik. Hanya saja Pak Rowles sangat tidak menyukai Pak Sheldon hanya karena mereka memiliki perbedaan visi mereka.

Pak Sheldon memiliki banyak pekerjaan. Tidak hanya sebagai guru fisika dan guru sains pada orang kebanyakan. Dia juga berprofesi sebagai profesor yang membuat suatu alat untuk kepentingan manusia. Ia pernah bekerja sama dengan ibunya Diva untuk membuat alat pertahanan dan keamanan.

Ia juga berperan sebagai dokter untuk mengobati berbagai macam luka. Selain itu, ia juga mampu mengobati penyakit yang cukup jarang ditemukan oleh dokter umumnya. Bahkan, ia pernah mengobati pasien yang mengidap AIDS dan menyembuhkannya dengan mudah. Jadi, ia dipilih oleh Dr. Guren untuk mengembangkan ketiga peran itu.

Meskipun melelahkan bagi sebagian orang, Pak Sheldon tidak pernah mengeluh atas tugasnya. Ia beranggapan bahwa setiap peran yang dilakukan haruslah mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. Jadi, jika ia dibantu oleh seseorang, dia akan senang dengan bantuan itu.

Berbeda dengan Pak Rowles yang merupakan seorang Mayjen di Pangkalan Utama Militer Twelve. Ia penyendiri dan tidak mau dibantu dan membantu orang lain. Itu adalah hal yang merepotkan baginya. Ditambah lagi, jika ia bekerja sama hasilnya tidak sesuai dengan ekspektasi yang diharapkan.

Bu Elevert mengenakan seragam militer dan rompi hitamnya setelah mandi bersamaku. Dia tidak lupa mengenakan parfum pink yang disemprotkan di sekujur tubuhnya.

Kami pun keluar dari perkemahan itu dan melihat Diva yang sedang barbeque dan Vincent yang menggenggam rekaman miliknya untuk merekam pertengkaran Pak Sheldon dengan robotnya siap bertempur melawan Pak Rowles siap dengan kedua pistol yang hitam pekat itu.

「行け!戦え!彼 を 倒す!」(Ike! Tatakae! Kare o taosu!) ("Ayo! Serang! Kalahkan dia!") Seru Vincent mendukung pertarungan itu.

"Akan kuhabisi kau sekarang juga!" Seru Pak Rowles menembak dengan kedua pistolnya secara lihai.

"Ha! Ayo, serang aku, p*******g! Aku akan memberimu pelajaran." Pak Sheldon mempersiapkan ancang-ancangnya untuk menyerang Pak Rowles.

"Robot Charge : Level 2 : Saber Strike!"

Sebuah tebasan saber melesat dengan cepat. Tebasan itu membuat Pak Rowles tidak bisa menahan serangan itu dan memutuskan untuk menghindari serangan itu. Pak Rowles yang berguling ke samping itu langsung menggunakan kedua pistolnya untuk menyerang balik.

"Modern Pistol : Counter-Attack!"

Peluru pistol melesat dengan cepat mengenai robot yang dikendalikan oleh Pak Sheldon sehingga menimbulkan kerusakan pada armor dada robot itu. Pak Sheldon yang terpojok itu tidak pernah menyerah dan menggunakan perubahan robot yang cukup fatal bagi lawannya.

"Robot Charge : Level 3 : Tank Transformation!"

Robot yang diciptakan oleh Pak Sheldon itu berubah menjadi sebuah Scorpion Tank NOD. Tank itu mulai menempati perkemahan itu. Vincent yang melihat itu kagum dengan hal itu. Ia pun mulai membuka suara.

「すこい!タンク が  あるんだ よ!この 戦い の 後 で,僕 に 乗らせて ください!」 (Sugoi! Tanku ga arundayo! Kono tatakai no ato de, boku ni norasete kudasai!) ("Keren! Ada tank! Setelah pertarungan ini, biarkan aku menaikinya!") Seru Vincent kagum dengan perubahan itu.

"Kau curang! Seenaknya saja menjadi Tank!" Geram Pak Rowles yang melihat perubahan itu.

"Terserah, goblok! Aku  bersusah payah membuat ini selama sebulan. Kau akan kuhabisi karena kau membuatku marah," cela Pak Sheldon mengarahkan moncong tank itu menuju Pak Rowles.

"Tank Charge : Level 1 : Bomb Assault!"

Serbuan bom itu mulai meluncur dan bereaksi di sekitar Pak Rowles berdiri. Pak Rowles yang terpojok itu tidak bisa menghindar dari segala arah, sehingga Pak Rowles menerima serangan dari bom dan terpental ke belakang sejauh beberapa meter.

Pak Rowles bangkit dari jatuhnya dan mulai bergerak ke kanan. Pak Sheldon mulai menembak dan peluru demi peluru melesat dan menghantam ke tanah. Pak Rowles yang berlari ke kanan dan mengambil momentum yang tepat untuk menyerang balik serangan Scorpion Tank.

"Tidak ada pilihan lain. Modern Pistol : Charge of ...."

Sebuah bom elektrik melesat ke udara dan bereaksi di udara sehingga, tank yang dikendalikan oleh Pak Sheldon dan perlengkapan listrik oleh Pak Sheldon mati seketika. Selain itu, bom itu bereaksi pada rekaman milik Vincent. Vincent yang sedang merekam itu melepas rekaman yang rusak untuk sementara.

"Hah? Aku tidak pernah melakukan itu, pa**h! Justru kau yang melakukannya," tuduh balik Pak Sheldon menunjuk Pak Rowles.

"Hah! Jangan salahkan aku! Aku tidak memiliki bom elektrik itu," sanggah Pak Rowles dengan tuduhan itu.

"Jangan pernah membohongiku! Jika saat yang tepat, aku akan …." Ucapan Pak Sheldon terhenti karena suara bising di tengah pertengkaran itu.

"Prit!" Suara peluit menghentikan pertengkaran itu. Pak Sheldon dan Pak Rowles berhenti bertengkar. Mereka pun melirik kepada seorang wanita yang sedang berjalan dengan tegak dan menghampiri kedua orang yang sedang bertengkar. Dia adalah Bu Elevert dengan rompi hitam dan seragam militernya.

"Thomas dan Jerry …Siapa yang duluan?? Bertengkar terus!!" Tegur Bu Elevert dengan raut wajah ngambek.

"Jangan ikut campur, dasar la***g! Kau pasti menggunakan untuk merusak tank-ku," bentak Pak Sheldon kepada Bu Elevert.

"Diamlah, Jerry! Aku akan menelpon … Untuk Kak Guren," ancam Bu Elevert segera mengeluarkan tabletnya untuk menelpon Dr. Guren.

"Hei, kau tanggung jawab! Posisiku berada di atasmu. Jangan mengganggu pertarungan kami!" Gerutu Pak Rowles tentang posisinya berada di atas Bu Elevert.

Setelah mereka mendengar teguran itu, mereka tersungkur di tanah dengan raut wajah yang cukup lelah. Vincent sudah tidak ada di tempat itu karena ia harus memperbaiki rekamannya. Aku yang sudah makan daging dengan Diva tanpa bertengkar karena kami tidak mau bernasib seperti Pak Sheldon dan Pak Rowles.

Setelah penghuni pramuka sarapan dengan daging sapi, aku, Diva, Vincent, Pak Rowles, dan Bu Elevert segera meninggalkan perkemahan untuk berpetualang selama tiga hari. Pak Sheldon tinggal untuk menjaga perkemahan jika ada yang mau menyerang perkemahan itu, dia akan menghabisinya.

Pak Sheldon sudah cukup kuat untuk menjaga perkemahan itu sendirian. Ia sudah menyiapkan beberapa turet dan tank-nya untuk membantunya. Ditambah lagi, dia sudah menyalakan radar pendeteksi dengan radius 2 km dari perkemahan untuk mendeteksi para penyerang itu.

Semua orang, kecuali Pak Sheldon, berpetualang pada hari yang cerah ini. Mereka berjalan dengan posisi yang layaknya anak pramuka. Pak Sheldon mengawasi mereka dari belakang sementara Bu Elevert memimpin jalan.

Aku, Diva, dan Vincent sedang mendengarkan Broadcast milik Bu Elevert yang riang gembira itu. Pak Rowles memilih tidak mendengarkan karena ia trauma dengan broadcast itu. Di tengah perjalanan, Vincent ngerjain kami, sehingga aku, Diva, dan Vincent saling mengejar lagi. Pak Rowles tidak peduli dengan itu dan lebih memilih memandang hutan yang cukup asri itu.

Bu Elevert yang melihat drama pengejaran itu meniup peluitnya untuk menghentikan drama itu. Akhirnya, kami dihukum dengan borgol di pergelangan tangan kami. Bu Elevert seperti biasanya membuat raut wajah ngambeknya, sehingga kami diam seribu bahasa dalam sekejap.

Kehidupan ini sungguh membosankan, tapi tidak buruk dengan hukuman itu. Kami sudah sampai di sungai yang setelah berjalan 8 jam lamanya. Kami pun istirahat sejenak untuk melepaskan kelelahan ini.

Right now, it was planning a pincer attack, and so they sent some of their soldiers in the villages and towns nearby Orario and disguised as normal citizen or as an Adventurer from Orario.

"Sorry, but I couldn't help it as it will be interesting!" I said while smiling.

"Sagiri Soren!" He called my name while glaring at me menacingly.

Ehem! Anyway, I am Sagiri Soren, the one who is the most closest to Silver. When he decided to level up, I also decided to level up as I am already at the peak of level 7. I'm now halfway to level 9, and so Silver, who was more than halfway there.

"I can't take it anymore! It's so BORING!" I whined as we walk together.

Since we doesn't have any reason to go to the Dungeon, we don't go there, and we ain't gonna go in there just to satisfy our boredom. I know they're bered too.

"Then," Silver spoke with his devil-like voice, "how about we take some quest? I'm pretty sure quest party members doesn't need to be from the same familia. We can also look around and admire the surroundings."

"Also, we can talk about our past lives before reincarnating too!" Lisa added.

"Well, that does seem to be the best way out of boredom." I agreed.

 • 3rd Person POV •

The three of them are now standing in front of Eina Tulle, and they asked her for some quest.

"Here are the quests." Eina placed down an ample amount of stacked papers.

Those were quest that they can choose to take.

Silver took a quarter of the papers and looked at them each. Some of the quest were easy, and there are only few quests that needed a 3-5 days to complete based on the minimum requirements that were listed.

Quest. They were requested by people and were officialized by the Guild in order to give Adventurers another way of earning money other than risking their lives on dungeon.

But in reality, the Guild did this to get more money from Adventurers even if they were requested from other branches around the continent.

He have been into a unique continent was on the other side of this world, a parallel world, that do not have Adventurer's Guild, but they do have Mercenary's Guild and their language was, of course, different than from here in this world. There is an item created to travel between the two worlds, but that's for another story.

We got sidetracked.

The three of them took 5 quest which they can complete in succession since the places were near. They mostly took any quest from annihilation of monsters that made a forest as their nest, and the forest just happened to be a place were hunters gets their food even without falna.

As the three of them walked to the nearby village that has some pests problems and decided to request some Pest Control, they talked to each other.

The first one to speak was Soren, "I think i shoukd go first."

Soren took a deep breath and exhaled.

"I'm just your ordinary guy with fairly good looks. I'm not being narcissist, but it's the truth as all- no, almost all of the girls I met are leeches, gold diggers. Luckily, I'm not as dense as some protagonist and I already knew that she, my best friend, have some feelings for me."

He paused a little then continued, "When I caught an incurable and new disease, I know that we weren't going to be with each other. And so I hid it from her to stop her from worrying about me. But that was a big mistake. Making her happy, giving her those happy memories only made her suffer more. Well, you probably know what happened next."

"I pretty much know just when you said that you hid it from her and about making her happy." Silver said as he raised his guns.

*BANG* *POCHU*

The shoots were aimed at two Battle Boars in front of them and now they are dead. They were shot with physical, Carmine with Kaenseki Bullets; and Potshot with Water Enchantment.

"The recoil using kaenseki instead of gunpowder for bullets does sure pack a punch for both the target and the marksman. On the other hand, Mana guns are faster than arrows, but still slower than bullets and elemental enchantments does boost the power, no recoil, but can be dodged if one is fast enough." Silver muttered as he placed his guns, Carmine and Potshot, back in their respective holsters. Carmine, being the physical damage dealer, was held by his left hand. Potshot was the magical damage dealer, held by his right hand as to compliment on his unorthodox swordsmanship.

""You do know that they are pretty powerful, right?"" The two said after looking at the two Battle Boars.

"But they still have some disadvantages." Silver replied.

"Promise?" She asked and I just nod then lean my forehead to hers while wiping her tears.

"Of course." I said while smiling. One thing that I learned since I fell in love with her is, there are many wonderful things that you could experience in this world. One of those things is how to love someone and when you already find that someone that you will treasure and choose to be with for the rest of your life is the happiest thing that could ever happen to you. Being with Yana and have my own family with her is the best thing that I could ever have in my life.
