They were placed on a small platform.
A staff with a crystal on the top that had the colors of all the elements, sat on the floor.
"What's going on?" Aspen asked Emerald.
Emerald shook in fear, "I've only seen those in legends!"
"What does it do?" King weed demanded. "Tell me you pitiful earth mage!"
"Dad, be nice." Aspen said.
The Governess picked up the staff and pointed it towards the royals. "Now, before we steal your powers, we ask that you willingly give us your realms."
"We'll never let you take our realms!" Chancellor Blaze yelled.
"So be it, start the extraction!" The governess ordered.
Aspen braced himself as the rest of the Royals shielded their kids.
"Wait!" Someone said from the crowd.
Aspen looked up.
Mantis had his hand raised.
"Yes Lieutenant Mantis?" The Governess asked.
"Spare the children, once they're parents are dead, we can use them to rule the kingdoms with your rules." Mantis said winking at Aspen.
"A fair point Mantis, let the children go."
Aspen and the other kids were let out of their restraints.
"Let the extraction continue."
Aspen nudged Mantis, "What happened to queen Cloud and king Tornado?"
"They fought back and we had to kill them." Mantis sighed.
"You did what?" Aspen gasped. "They were Breeze's parents."
"Yes, but my loyalty to the Governess is more important than my love life." Mantis said. He smiled and walked off.
"That is so dark." Emerald said.
They heard an explosion and the next thing they knew, they're parents were turned to ash.
The kids began to cry as the Governess stepped up and kicked the ash. " The realms are mine!"
Aspen noticed that four jewels appeared around the governess neck.
"I think she's taken their powers and is storing them in those jewels." Aspen told Emerald and Burn.
Emerald took Shark from Aspen and cradled her in his arms. "Wow, that's impressive." Emerald said sarcastically.
Burn looked around. "I can't believe they're gone."
"I know, but we have to stay strong." Aspen said.
Shark reached for Aspen.
"She's all yours, your majesty." Emerald said, handing Shark to Aspen.
"Stop it Em, you're flattering me." Aspen laughed.
Emerald raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"
"Oh, nevermind." Aspen sighed.
The royals were escorted out of the chamber and back into their cell.
"Let us out!" Burn shrieked. Fire covered her body as her hair rose up.
The dark mage laughed and closed the door.
Burn let out a fiery blast that knocked the door down.
Emerald and Aspen were both shocked.
Shark laughed and clapped her hands.
"Well, that's cool." Emerald said.
They snuck out of their cell quietly.
Aspen had to cover Shark's mouth in order to make sure they were absolutely silent.
Shark saw two guards walking towards them and flinched.
"Aw, what wrong?" Aspen asked.
Burn raised her hands ready to strike.
"Hey!" A guard yelled.
The second guard pressed a red button and the hall turned red.
"Thanks a lot Burn." Emerald said.
"Oh really, cause I'm pretty sure they found us because of Shark!" Burn said. Her hair was set on fire and Emerald stepped back.
As the two argued, guards filled the hallways.
Aspen looked around for anything that could help them.
Emerald took out his wand and shot an emerald green light towards the guards.
"You had that the whole time?" Aspen shouted.
"Yeah, so?" Emerald said blasting a group of guards down the hall.
They fought their way to the exit but were blocked by the Governess and Mantis.
Burn extinguished herself, but Emerald raised his wand higher into the air.
Mantis charged towards them.
Shark jumped from Aspen's arms and shot a geyser of water from her hands.
Mantis was thrown onto the floor.
Aspen, Burn and Emerald all stared at the baby water mage.
"How the hell did she?" Burn gasped.
"Well, it doesn't matter now, let's get a move on." Aspen said, running out the exit."

This was the last base that Emperor Sea Shark and Shen Ren had established. It was also the most mysterious shelter by the edge of the Sea of Annihilation. With terrifying dangers nearby, not many people dared to visit this deathtrap. Thus, Emperor Sea Shark and Shen Ren thought that it would be the safest shelter.
The closer they got, the more restless and worried Emperor Sea Shark and Shen Ren became.
They had checked around ten shelters and sent their fellows there to avoid the slaughter. However, they found no alive members. The tragic scenes hammered their hearts and made them bleed in agony.

This area had many lamp-like fungal growths and vivid red coral with pieces of glass scattered, sparkling beautifully. Many fellows of the Sea Clan were packed in this area. They all looked sorrowful. Many of them had cut limbs and most of them looked desperate, their eyes blank while facing the sky.
The dispirited, heavy air filled the entire place and made people shiver. The Sea Clan warriors were all in low spirits. They didn't cultivate and just sat idly, waiting for death.
Datuk and Hu Jiao who used to fight Shi Yan were in this group. The warriors with strong competencies gathered by them. With a solemn face, they were discussing something. They looked like they were about to risk their lives.

Hu Jiao and the blood-iron warriors of the Sea Clan came and kneeled in front of Emperor Sea Shark. Hu Jiao said, "We didn't fail you. We have protected the Crystal Palace. However, it's very dangerous around; we have to keep it in another area."
"Tribal Oldie! Please take revenge for us!" Datuk's eyes were bloodshot. He gritted his teeth until blood trickled down the corners of his mouth. He grunted with deep resentment. "Ferrell and the Soul Clan had destroyed our shelters. Half of our population was killed. Please seek justice for us!"
"Please take revenge for us!" All the members of the Sea Clan cried in agony as if they wanted to cry their hearts out of grief.
"I got it. I know it. I will. I definitely will…"
Emperor Sea Shark had tears lingering in his eyes. He screamed his most solid promise that was imprinted in his soul and would never fade.
"Datuk, what happened?" Shi Yan walked to him and asked in a soft voice.
Datuk looked at him, his face so cold, but he said nothing.
He knew that everything that happened was related to Shi Yan. Without Shi Yan, the Sea Clan wouldn't have had to endure such catastrophes.
Seeing Datuk with discreet resentment, Shi Yan rubbed his nose and sighed. He didn't ask further as he understood the hatred the Sea Clan had for him.
"Datuk, don't be impudent. It's our choice. We owed him. We must pay back. It's not directly because of Shi Yan," shouted Shen Ren. He pulled himself together and then asked, "What happened after all?"
Datuk pondered for a while and then told them what had happened…
At first, due to Montecie's slaughter, Ferrell, Ricardo, and Neptune had escaped the Sea of Annihilation. Although they had been aimed at the whole time, they still survived. They just needed to give up some benefits.
After Montecie had left the Sea of Annihilation, Ferrell and Ricardo didn't return. However, because they had joined the five clans, their subordinates had swaggered around and forced Datuk and Hu Jiao. They had to restrain themselves a lot and their territory was reduced.
During that time, they hadn't encountered any catastrophe.
This was until Shi Yan invited Montecie, Hiro, and Emperor Sea Shark to Desolate Territory. To find the entrance to Desolate Territory, the five clans had sent their troops to the Sea of Annihilation. Ferrell, Ricardo, and Neptune had also returned since the forces they had gathered were strong enough to not worry about Montecie's power.
They weren't afraid of Montecie, so they began to find Emperor Sea Shark to take revenge. Neptune and Ferrell had launched their operation. They sent troops of the Soul Clan and Ancient Monster Clan to the seabed to hunt Datuk and Hu Jiao. They did that to force Emperor Sea Shark to show himself. They even wanted to kill Emperor Sea Shark altogether.
Datuk and Hu Jiao knew that Emperor Sea Shark had gone to Desolate Territory. They couldn't contact him, so they had to avoid the danger. Thus, they had to run away the entire time. The Sea Clan's shelters were raided until they retreated to this last resort. They finally got some time to rest.
However, they were still edgy as they were afraid that Neptune and Ferrell's warriors would come to hunt them down to the last member at any minute.
It was also the reason why they screamed in panic when they felt someone coming. They thought that their enemies had finally come to take their lives.
"Neptune!" Emperor Sea Shark gritted his teeth.
"Ferrell!" Mei Ji also sneered, "I have to find him too! He killed a lot of my subordinates. He killed Yu Lian! Does he think he can resist our wrath if he comes to the Ancient Monster Clan? Harrumph!"
"Neptune and Ferrell came to the Sea of Annihilation personally because of the territory entrance. It seems like they got some harvest…"
Shi Yan contemplated, his eyes flaring with light. He knew something…
"What do you mean?" Mei Ji reacted fast.
"Excepts for the warriors from Desolate Territory, only the Devouring Clan knows the territory entrance. As the Devouring Clan failed in Desolate Territory and I got the Power Upanishad Symbol Tower, the Devouring Clan wouldn't let it slip away easily. I think the Devouring Clan will disclose the precise location of the territory entrance," assumed Shi Yan.
"It's true. Otherwise, the hotshots from the five clans wouldn't gather in the Sea of Annihilation altogether," Mei Ji nodded.
Shi Yan pondered for a while, his eyes raking through Datuk, Hu Jiao, and the others. After a long moment, he said, "Precursor Emperor Sea Shark, the urgent matter to do now is to take them to the Endless Sea first. We have to ensure their safety first. About taking revenge, I can commit that I won't just stand and stare!"
"You?!" Datuk snorted, "You're at the Immortal Realm. How can you manage that? Can you?"
"Shut up!" Shen Ren shouted and then talked to Emperor Sea Shark, "Tribal Oldie, deliver the kids to the safe place first. We will take revenge later. What do you think?"
Emperor Sea Shark wasn't foolish. He knew what was wise to do. He nodded and then said, "Do as Shi Yan said. We will take our fellows to the safe area first. The Sea of Annihilation will become chaotic soon. The Great War will happen at any minute."
Then, Emperor Sea Shark, Shi Yan, and Mei Ji escorted the Sea Clan's remaining members. Emperor Sea Shark used his Territory Ancestor Realm power to transport them to the territory entrance to Desolate Territory.
So many black brocade flags with drawings of brutal souls and evil ghosts flew to the front of the algae area.
Hu Jiao observed for a while and his face turned icy as he grunted. "It's them!"
"It's the Soul Clan and the Ancient Monster Clan's troops that had surrounded and destroyed our fellows!" Datuk gritted his teeth like a wounded wild beast, his face resentful.
"Kill them all!" hissed Shi Yan.

Footsteps marching silently towards the center of the ship. The ship called KIRANA carry tons of shipping kargo. It also seems that KIRANA carries hundred of kids at the time for the purpose of human trafficking. 

A special team, ALPHA team being sent for mission to secure the ship and rescue the kids. SHARK, the team leader signal the members to silently ambush the criminals.

All the kids has been locked up in a kargo when the team found them. But something is wrong when they discovered them. They all asleep! All highly sedative and if they do not receive the serum on time, they will die. 

'Ah,shit! Who is so merciless to do this to the kids. They could be killed' 

"Search the ship, and find the serum, Hurry!", Shark said to the members.

The team all has a unique character as their nicknames , they consist of five highly trained members including shark. Hawk is the sniper and hitman with strong as the strongest in the team, Tech is the expert when involve in hacking and Shorty, although he is short in reality but he is strangely expert when involve in difusing any bomb. 

While Shark is the mastermind and the brain of the team. Rumors said that he used to fight with live sharks as part of his personal training. Others said he is fierce and cold-hearted when dealing with enemies.

Other side of KIRANA - A SECRET SPACE

"Burn all the documents for the project. Make sure all the files related with it has been deleted. I don't want them to find it. Find all the doctors and kill them. None of them can leave alive. Understand?!", a man with a long scar on his face with angry expression instruct his subordinates. 

Henry is pissed due to sudden attack for unknown source, he is a wanted criminal, normally he don't care to fight them but this time is different. The other party can't know what he did. Experimenting on human, and fight against human nature is the worst behavior a person can be, he also been paid billions for the job to keep it secret. His boss want everything to be made silently, if things went wrong, his boss willing to start over as long as the secret is not spilled.

In the laboratory

"Doktor Charles, take subject no. 5 here. We need her for blood test.", said the head doctor. 

The doctors are all in eager to test more because currently only subject no. 5 is responding to their treatment. Previously, all other subject die as their body unable to accept the dose. They so close to breakthrough the human nature in increasing the human capabilities but always failed. This time, they positive it will worked. 

The dreams to continue the research stopped when the subordinate of their boss called them to hurriedly go to the safety as the ship has been attacked.

Doctor Charles who already halfway in the corridor stop for awhile in the corner when he heard the word attack. He listen quietly and hide in the corner. Truthfully, he always a coward but this opportunity come once in a lifetime to work on a research of human capabilities and they were paid generously. He definitely won't miss the chance.

The doctors in the laboratory followed the subordinate obediently as they walked, 
'BANG! BANG!' the man start to pull the trigger and kill the doctor one by one.

"What are you doing? Youguys need us! Stop!", said one of the doctors.

'BANG! BANG!'

"You all won't be much of a help if youguys get caught right? Such burden need to keep their mouth shut. sorry. nothing is personal.",
as the man about to pull another triggered. 

'BANG!', A bullet hit the man head and he die on the spot. Unfortunately, even all the doctors died due to excessive blood.

Hawk talked through his earpiece to the team, "It seems that the enemy in rushed to clear the evidence. Something definitely fishy around here."

Doctor Charles who currently hiding in the corner, run as his might to the test subject room. If he need to survive, he will need evidence to proof their immoral activity. The scene in front of him is so scary, all his colleagues died because their boss betrayed them but he doesn't care anymore. Thinking of the dying expression of his colleagues makes him boiled in anger. Yes, he is a coward but he is a loyal person, he won't betray unless others betray first.

When all the paperwork was cataloged, the students were broken into individual classes consisting of around fifteen students per teacher. Kenji walked through the halls of the academy darting his eyes around basking in the greatness. Ninja. Kenji was now on the path of the ninja. The faint whispers of his classmates trickled through the hall while Kenji's teacher led them to an open room supported by massive columns with a rectangular pool of water in the middle. The water was as still as the walls enclosing it. 

Someone whispered "Listen up."

Apparently no one heard the almost inert gesture.

"Listen up." The unknown individual seemed to struggle speaking loudly as the students finally settled down. 

"I'll be your teacher here while you idiots struggle through the academy." Students everywhere began to cringe at the sight of their bad luck. "My name is Mr. Yuto." 

Mr. Yuto sported blue extravagant hair to accompany his slouching body language. No one could tell what his eyes looked like due to him barely being able to keep them open. Kenji couldn't help but force a smile. 

Before anyone could ask questions Mr Yuto sluggishly whispered, "Everyone please make your way to the pool and try to stand on it."

Judging from the reaction of the students, no one knew what the hell was going on. Worry and anxiety filled the faces of every young child while Mr. Yuto turned around and flickered away, leaving the kids to figure it out for themselves. Two bodies emerged from the crowd anxiously speed-walking to the pool. One was a gill-faced boy cutting holes through his lips with his shark teeth smile  and the other was Kenji who wore his traditional half smile. Both kids lead the pack as their classmates followed. Not a word could be heard. Only the abrubt splashes of kids sinking into the water. In the end, only Kenji and the shark kid managed the water walking feat until every one else gave up. Kenji gazed at the kid with wonder. Aya had taught him many things before the academy, and water walking was one of them. Who taught this kid? 

The defeated faces of the class suddenly turned to fright and admiration. Kenji glanced towards the door and almost puked from excitement. 

The fourth Mizukage himself, Yagura Karatachi, entered the room followed by Mr. Yuto and a man that struck fear in Kenji. The man wore a shark Anbu mask. His muscles where bulging from the undercut of his tank-top. For some reason, Kenji's gut told him to stay away from this man. 

The three intimidating men approached the pool beside the class and stood there. All were staring at the two boys defying the laws of gravity. Suddenly Yagura glanced towards Mr. Yuto and said, "Oh so we got two this year?" Before Mr. Yuto could reply with respect, Yagura grinned viciously. "Tell me your names." Yagura directed his attention to Kenji and the mystery boy. 

Aya had informed Kenji to treat the Mizukage with respect, so he slightly bowed and stated, "Kenji, Lord Mizukage." 

Yagura seemed pleased with his performance and nodded. He turned to the other child who quickly glanced at Kenji. Kenji motioned him slightly with his head. He nervously turned towards Yagura and said, "Ha..Hansuke, Lord Mizukage." 

Yagura smiled. "Very well, Kenji, Hansuke. You must now fight to the death." Yagura backed off a few feet with his 'bodyguards' leaving a starstruck academy class. After about thirty seconds, Yagura seemed to get annoyed and yelled "Now!"

The class, Kenji, Hansuke, and even Mr. Yuto shuddered. The class retreated with fear while Kenji and Hansuke looked at each other and walked toward each end of the pool. Kenji was afraid. He didn't want to do this. Why should he have to kill someone on his first day! Even though he didn't know Hansuke, he assumed he adopted the same mindset. 
The Shark Anbu threw both of them a kunai, looked at Yagura, then rumbled a "Begin." 

Both contestants glared at each other and strengthened the resolve in their minds. Both thought, I just started on this path...I can't stop now. I won't!

Two boys flashed towards each other leaving a ripple behind and clashed. Sparks flew off the opposing kunai. Kenji instigated a whirl of strikes towards Hansuke who slightly retreated, still striking sparks with every successful block. 

After a fury of kunai engagements, Kenji struck a stab towards the head of Hansuke. Hansuke ducked and leaned his head back. He could feel the kunai ripple through his hair as he eyed the black piece of metal. Hansuke lunged towards Kenji's left side and slashed with all his might. Kenji saw this coming. He smiled and leaped headfirst over Hansuke. Kenji's feet hit the water. He slung his kunai at the face of Hansuke. Without any time to think, Hansuke followed. Both knives collided in the air with force and took a dive into the pool.

The class watched with their eyes bulging. They couldn't believe how talented these two were. Yagura and his goons watched the fight intently with no emotion at all. A few kids could clearly see the harsh judging of the brawl in front of them. 

At the same time, Kenji and Hansuke broke out into a fist fight. One sock after another. Both were even in terms of taijutsu. Kenji pulled back as well as Hansuke. The boys were thinking. Watching. Hoping to find an opening. This fight wouldn't go anywhere the way it was now. 

Yagura was readying to end the fight when the boys collided again. 

Kenji and Hansuke banged their forearms against each other, their faces inches away. Both were gritting their teeth in exhaustion while testing each others resolve with a gritty stare down. Almost in sync, they went vertical. Jumping away from each other, both boys pulled their hands together in mid-air. 

Upon this advancement, Yagura's interest was peaked. The trio of men widened their eyes. Kenji weaved the signs boar, horse, and tiger. 

Hansuke began to weave tiger, ox, tiger, rat. 

"Fire style : Great Fireball Jutsu!"

"Water style : Water Bomb Jutsu!"

Both kids were in fight or flight. They used everything they had. A giant fireball collided with a ball of water equal its size. 

Boom!

The pressure of the collision knocked a few students on their butts. Some braced themselves while others couldn't take their eyes off this performance. Yagura, Mr. Yuto, and the shark Anbu stood with arms crossed. No doubt thinking how lucky they were to have these two, but the fight was not over. 

Heaving with every breath, Hansuke charged towards Kenji with a bare fist. Kenji stood there. He did nothing. Was he crazy?!?!, thought his classmates. Hansuke cocked back with all his strength and let his fist fly. Inches before impact, the audience noticed a glimmer towards the base of the water. Kenji balled his hand into a fist and pulled with all his might. A wet kunai emerged from the depths attached to ninja wire from Kenji's wrist. Kenji caught the knife with ease and proceeded to gut Hansuke. Hansuke couldn't stop his momentum. He was going to die. 

Hansuke closed his eyes, hoping it would be quick. He hope Kenji wouldn't forget him. He hoped his defeat wouldn't be for nothing. 

On the other hand, Kenji wanted to cry. He was going to kill someone. He was five years old. 

"Stop!"

Before the kids could react, Mr. Yuto held Kenji's arm and Hansuke's fist. 

Everyone looked at Yagura. He cracked a devilish smile, lowered his eyebrows, and squinted his eyes, "You two are perfect."

Note : Sorry if it's shit. I wrote this pretty quick because my Mondays are busy. College is hard. Anyway, I plan on giving a few more chapter to the academy and then shit is gonna hit the fan, so be ready for that.
