He opened his eyes and looked around at his surroundings, he was on a hospital bed and the smell of antiseptics assaulted his nose. He wrinkled his eyebrow when he saw a lot of people.

'Where is this?' He tried to think until someone called him with a loud voice.

"Young Master!"

"The Young Master woke up!"

"Hurry up and call the nurse!"

"Call master and second young master quickly!"

"Hurry up!"

He was frowning at them due to their loud voices causing him to get a headache.

"Shut up! You're going to give me a headache!!!" All of them quickly shut up and talked quietly.

He nodded in satisfaction when they shut up and then addressed them, he told everyone to get out from his room because he needed time to be alone.

They all nodded and left his room.

He stood up from his bed and tried to find a mirror when he found on on a counter, he was shocked at his reflection.

He saw a handsome young man of around 16 or 17 years old, he was quite surprised to see he had become young again.

He shook his head and got rid of his meaningless thoughts and started to think about what was going on.

He was quite a successful marketing consultant in a company, but he had to work overtime a lot. He was very tired today when he left work around 11 pm, but unluckily his car was hit by a transfer truck.

In the darkness, he was given two choices from what he assumed was God. He could go on to the after-life or reincarnate into a new life. God told him that he would have to reincarnate into an anime world as he could not reincarnate back into his earth.

He didn't have to think much and quickly chose to be reincarnated, he was a fan of anime, manga, and other novels, and he was also quite familiar with stories of reincarnation.

He wondered if he would get a cheat or a system that would help him in this life. He tried searching through his memory and eventually remembered something.

'Rescue System?'

He read the introduction, it was as the name said, he needed to rescue someone, something, or keep something bad from occurring that the quest told him about.

There were two categories of skills in the system, life classification, and combat classification. The life classification had already opened, but the combat classification was still closed. He didn't think much about the combat and opened the life classification.

He was surprised there were seven sub-categories inside this life classification and it looked very interesting. There were mathematics, literature, engineering, housekeeping, art, music, and sports. Under each of sub-categories, there were much smaller divisions.

In the literature classification, there was a language branch and under the language branch, it was divided into more detailed options.

For example, he had already opened 5 options: Chinese, Japanese, English, Javanese, and Indonesian. But besides those 5 options, all the options in the language branch were gray and he couldn't access it.

It was worth mentioning, that those options looked like a games skills screen. These opened options were all displayed by numbers. He could see his Chinese, Japanese, Java, and the Indonesian language had a 100 point proficient. Only his English had a 50 point proficient.

He was descended from the Chinese but he lived in Indonesia and spoke in Javanese. He understood why these 3 languages he would get a 100 point proficiency, and his English only 50 points proficient, but why did his Japanese have a 100 point proficiency?

He was an otaku, but he didn't think his Japanese would be this good. What's with this situation?

He thought about it and could only conclude it was a reward from the system. He was reincarnated into an anime world, and it would be difficult for him if he didn't know any Japanese.

The interface of the system was quite simple, besides the classification options that he had opened, there was a personal attribute panel, but it wasn't that important right now as he wanted to know what quest the rescue system gave him.

He wanted to scream at how unfair this system was. He didn't care about Manga, but he did care about dying and causing someone else to die because of him. 

'Wait I have a little brother?'

He couldn't believe that he would lose his little brother if he couldn't make a manga within one week. He needed to begin drawing manga as soon as possible, but he noticed a small problem.

'I can't draw Manga!'

This was a big problem, he could draw some normal things but it was his first time to draw a Manga. He tried remembering any manga that he had read during his past life and tried thinking for a while then finally he remembered he had a system.

'That's right! I have the system!!'

He hurriedly opened his interface, he then opened the art category - painting branch - manga option. He got a quest from opening his manga option.

He read his quest then he read in the manga option that he could draw 1 page of manga and he could raise his proficiency by 1 point.

'So I have to draw 50 pages of Manga?' He wanted to scream but he just sighed. He didn't have time to complain, he needed to start drawing manga as soon as possible.

He was in deep thought until someone opened the door.

"Aniki!!"

"Yuuki!!"

He looked at both a middle age man and a teen.

'Hmm?' He looked at both of them and recognized them. He knew both of them were his father and little brother from the memories in his head, he assumed the system put them there.

"Are you okay?" His little brother asked, but he ignored it. He had something more important than that.

He looked at his father.

"What's wrong?" His father asked.

"Can you buy me some manga drawing tools?"

Both of them were dumbfounded.

This is a slice of life novel, so I will try my best to relate everything to you, my readers~
What is a Light Novel?
-A light novel is a style of Japanese young adult novel primarily targeting high school and middle school students. (Wikipedia). Yuki is a famous author in a Light Novel Site. She has published four novels in the first few chapters of the story.
What is a Mangaka?
Mangaka is the Japanese word for a manga artist. Outside Japan, manga usually refers to a Japanese comic book and mangaka refers to the author of the manga, who is usually Japanese. (Wikipedia). Nickson, a Korean teenager, is a mangaka, a Webtoon/Manwha artist, and he is currently studying Manhua works.
The novel involves the romantic relationship between Nickson and Yuki
Yuki is the main protagonist. But her role is more of the narrator. I am focusing the stories of the supporting characters. You could say that Yuki's life is perfect~

"Let me colour your world with these words..."

Yuki Leigh, your average teenage girl, has a knack for writing stories. She goes to Japan, together with her best friend, Roxanne. They enrol themselves in the International Japanese School to chase their dreams. Leigh also becomes famous because of her works, making a title of her known as the Queen of Gores or The Lady in Blood. But nobody knows who exactly this “Yuki”-her pen name is since she never reveals her face in public.

Those quiet days instantly change when Yuki browses the internet and sees a manga adaptation of her light novel series under the artist name “Nick”, who she assumes is a student going to the same school, and she is right! She refuses anyone to adapt her story, given that these written texts hold something dear inside her heart.

It is the only source of happiness Yuki has when she feels alone inside her room.

Upon noticing the positive feedback of the manga, Yuki would let Nickson pass this chance only if he transfers a share of his earnings to poverty or charity. That is all Yuki wants to hear.

They sit next to each other and not uttering a single word despite being classmates inside the room. Everything is going swimmingly to the two, not until the student council elections show up. They want to claim the prize of “not attending any lecture in class” following their jobs as mangaka and author.

Yuki then meets Nickson’s relatives, who are not on good terms. She thinks that joining their affairs would make her and Nickson’s situation worse. But her emotions change when Yuki notices Nickson’s sudden shift of mood during examinations or in meetings. He is neglecting his work in the student council, grabbing the attention of the school and the two former student council officers. Eventually, she helps Nickson in her own way. Because of Yuki’s sudden interruption in his life, Nickson finally takes an interest in this light novel author. 

There are a lot of things going on as well! The three join a club, family problems, and relationship status they need to work out.

The club advisor, Benjamin Tsai, gives the author and the artist tips on creating masterpieces of their works. He also becomes their mentor when they feel stuck in a bottleneck. Benjamin is an avid fan of both Nickson and Yuki, so he knows everything about them, including their styles.

Along the way, they meet some friends and make a group together to prepare themselves for the university. If they want to pursue their passion, they need to do well for the upcoming entrance exams. Everything becomes serious and dull, considering they need to plan for their future jobs and roles. 

Yuki expresses her doubts about becoming a full-pledge light novel author, knowing that it will be a risky job for her to make money. Leigh admits she was lucky enough to win the competition before, but what will she do right now that she is losing her popularity as an author? 

This novel is a rollercoaster of happiness, sorrow, and other emotions from the characters. Every reader will unravel their stories one volume at a time, while the two, Yuki and Nickson, commit themselves as romantic couples soon. The story doesn’t need to be fast paced or slow since they will encounter problems and solve them one at a time.

I referenced the characters to the people I know. But keep in mind that I separate their lives and create fictional events on my own. I don’t have any opinions of what the character will do since the story explains everything in the present tense. All of them will have their characteristics, strengths and weaknesses.

Many authors wrote stories of disaffection, loss of purpose, and the coping with defeat. Haruo Umezaki's short story Sakurajima shows a disillusioned and skeptical Navy officer stationed in a base located on the Sakurajima volcanic island, close to Kagoshima, on the southern tip of the Kyushu island. Osamu Dazai's novel The Setting Suntells of a soldier returning from Manchukuo. Shōhei Ōoka won the Yomiuri Prize for his novel Fires on the Plain about a Japanese deserter going mad in the Philippine jungle. Yukio Mishima, well known for both his nihilistic writing and his controversial suicide by seppuku, began writing in the post-war period. Nobuo Kojima's short story "The American School" portrays a group of Japanese teachers of English who, in the immediate aftermath of the war, deal with the American occupation in varying ways.

Prominent writers of the 1970s and 1980s were identified with intellectual and moral issues in their attempts to raise social and political consciousness. One of them, Kenzaburō Ōe published his best-known work, A Personal Matterin 1964 and became Japan's second winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature.

Mitsuharu Inoue (ja) had long been concerned with the atomic bomb and continued in the 1980s to write on problems of the nuclear age, while Shusaku Endo depicted the religious dilemma of the Kakure Kirishitan, Roman Catholics in feudal Japan, as a springboard to address spiritual problems. Yasushi Inoue also turned to the past in masterful historical novels of Inner Asia and ancient Japan, in order to portray present human fate.

Haruki Murakami is one of the most popular and controversial of today's Japanese authors. His genre-defying, humorous and surreal works have sparked fierce debates in Japan over whether they are true "literature" or simple pop-fiction: Kenzaburō Ōe has been one of his harshest critics. Some of Murakami's best-known works include Norwegian Wood (1987) and The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle (1994–1995).

Banana Yoshimoto, a best-selling contemporary author whose "manga-esque" style of writing sparked much controversy when she debuted in the late 1980s, has come to be recognized as a unique and talented author over the intervening years. Her writing style stresses dialogue over description, resembling the script of a manga, and her works focus on love, friendship and loss. Her breakout work was 1988's Kitchen.

Although modern Japanese writers covered a wide variety of subjects, one particularly Japanese approach stressed their subjects' inner lives, widening the earlier novel's preoccupation with the narrator's consciousness. In Japanese fiction, plot development and action have often been of secondary interest to emotional issues. In keeping with the general trend toward reaffirming national characteristics, many old themes re-emerged, and some authors turned consciously to the past. Strikingly, Buddhist attitudes about the importance of knowing oneself and the poignant impermanence of things formed an undercurrent to sharp social criticism of this material age. Popular fiction, non-fiction, and children's literature all flourished in urban Japan in the 1980s. "A these pens have different types of points on the end, every point has different pressure and strength in them."

NOTE: One-shot in the Japanese Manga industry, the same concept is expressed by the term "yomikiri" in Japanese, which implies that the comic is presented in its entirety without any continuation. The one-shot manga tells its entire story in 15-60 pages, usually written for contests, and sometimes later developed into a full-length manga series (much like a television pilot).
"That's great but what is the story all about though?"
"Leave it to me your great storyteller is here!" Hirohito stands proud as he knows Akihito knew he's writing and creativity skills.
"But remember you'll have to go through me and Reina to check it out"
"I'll make storyboards as many as I can and I'll leave the decision to you!"

The next day, while on the way to school the pair decided to stop by a convenience store to check out the weekly manga magazine "Shonen Jump" and then the pair were shocked to see something they could never imagine. A mangaka just about their age wins the "JUMP TEZUKA MANGA CONTEST" for the first prize. Making Akihito get all hyped up and get everything started.

"Hey, Hiro are you done with on the one-shot story?" Akihito asked with excitement on his face.
"Aki, your excitement is all over the place I can feel it, and yes I have done 5 plots for us to choose from."
"You do really know me, Hiro." Akihito grabs the weekly manga magazine and proceeds to checkout.
"Hiro, I want to be a mangaka"

"Then I will be with you, I will write the stories that you will draw, stories that you love! No, stories that the readers would love. Let this be our challenge!" 

"Yes, I can't contain my excitement. I am coming for you "Makaino Joji" I will surely surpass you!" 
The pair entered their class full of excitement and energy, meanwhile Reina on the other hand.
"Zzzzzzzzzzz" 
"Oy! Reina wake up! Reina!"
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Who are you! what are you doing in my room!"
"Idiot this is the classroom!" 
"Classroom? Eh? Eh? How did I get here?"
"Oh no, our Reina, she suffered amnesia somebody call a teacher"
"Wait, don't, stoooooooop!" 
"She is back, she has risen back from her daydreaming."

Akihito can't contain his laugh as Hirohito took advantage of Reina's clumsy and awkwardness.


"Aaaah, I hate you Hirohito you're so mean! Taking advantage of a girl like that."

"WHAAAA who are you! What are you doing in my room!" Hirohito mocks Reina's reaction waking up!
"Hiro, that's enough let's eat together and discuss a few things at lunchtime."
"Hmm, Akihito do you have a fever, you look fired up today! Did something good happen?"
"His crush finally give him an answer!"
"EHHHHHHHH?! what you have someone?"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT HIROHITO?"
"HAHAHAHAHA SORRY SORRY I just want to break the ice, you look so stiff anyways I am excited about what's going to come." 

A few hours have passed and Akihito can't contain his excitement just as the bell rings, he stood up then called Reina and Hirohito with that the trio ran fast-paced to the school cafeteria.

"Yosh we are the first ones to arrived, now I shall order the moment I heard from the other students the sirloin steak!" 
"So you're saying this is what you are excited about?"
"Yes! This is it" 
"Idiot, I thought it has to do something with manga!" Reina shouted in tsundere mode that echoed throughout the cafeteria making all students stare at them. 
All the students whispered to each other, not because of Reina's awkward attitude but about the word "Manga" it seems like the school's aura has changed from pleasant to heavy as a nightmare has awakened from the past. Hirohito and Reina look confused as to why the school environment changed suddenly. Akihito grabs his food takes Hiro and Reina with him to the farthest table looking scared and frantic.
"Aki, I'm sorry I shouldn't have acted like that, really I'm sorry."
"Hey Aki, are you okay you look pale.?"

"Did you see the students reaction, it is not about Reina I should've told you about this but being a manga here in this school is a nightmare."
"What are you talking about Aki?"

"My meeting with the school director, he warned me about the past directors made manga sort of competition and business to gain popularity and a name for themselves, making the school ruin its name."
"That's awful, then why did the school director want us to restart the mangaka club?" Hirohito furiously questioned Akihito.
"To restore what my father did and the school's name on the good side again."
"Your father is the founder of the school's mangaka club right? That is what my uncle told me and he was his assistant." Reina talks calmly to cool down the situation.
"Yes, but I am now confused as what I've seen by the students' reaction, it's overwhelming."
"Aki, don't worry me and Hiro is here with you, no matter what after all we decided, you decided to push this through despite what my uncle has told you right?"
"That's right Aki, there is no turning back now and we have a rival to surpass! Makaino Joji, remember this is not just the mangaka club but the dream that we decided to take!"
After hearing those words from Hirohito his childhood friend and Reina his newest close friend and a supporter, Akihito calmed down and put his excitement back in him.
"Right, it is not just about the club but the dream we decided to take in. I am going to be a famous mangaka."
"Let's beat our rival, Makaino Joji with our skills and knowledge of manga!"
"I don't really know what is going on and who is that person Makaino Joji but I will support you all the way and I will do the best I can to help."
"After school, let's make that one-shot story happen and get this school back to its feet in the world of art."
"You mean get its hands back. HAHAHAHAHA"
"HAHAHAHA, idiot you always know when to stop the seriousness that is building up."
"Let's get some members! Let's go make manga!"
"Yey!"
The trio is fired up and excited in making their very first one-shot manga to present to the school and reach their dreams that have been decided. First is to build up the school's mangaka club back, Second to become a famous mangaka and to surpass their rival Makaino Joji, and lastly to clear the name of manga and mangaka to the students in the school.

"Ah some fresh air, why is math even our last subject I can't wait to get to the studio and read some manga's there."
"We still need to discuss our one-shot story so do go off slacking, we will be at our place, not the studio. I have to talk about it with my mother right?"
"Eh! I'm meeting your mo-mo-mother? I can't, not yet, I'm not ready to be in a boy's house."
"What are you talking about now, we will just tell her about this and discuss in our living room, don't get your delusions fired up."

"As a child, Kenji Yoshikawa did everything by himself and dropped it once he was bored. But his family is full of mystery, especially his father, a retired mangaka. After finding out the secret behind his father's actions, he decided to pursue becoming a mangaka. After this, surprisingly, he somehow managed to get into a harem due to his manga works."

There lives a jobless drunkard named Julius, he is currently in his house reading some a manga called 'Slam Dunk!'
"Hmmm, what a good read, why didn't I know about this thing called manga when I was a child?!" Julius said, his friend introduced him with manga four days ago since Julius is a lover of reading literature, and only ever reads literature
"Sebastian is right, this is better than the shit I read" saying this Julius wished he could just turn back time, and relive his childhood with instead of reading literature, he reads manga
'Maybe I'll just move to Japan and live there, but the problem is I don't know Japanese...' Julius thought to himself and decided that he would start learning Japanese right away, so Julius quickly ran to his room and took his computer, a notebook, and a pencil
After gathering these items Julius walks into the living room and sat on his couch and started to learn Japanese

After four days of non-stop days and nights, Julius has finally finished learning Japanese
"Finally, I have reached my goal HAHAHAHAH, to be honest I didn't really think I would be able to learn it to be honest, oh well it doesn't matter anyways, time to eat some food" saying this Julius came to the refrigerator and tried to open it but it wouldn't budge

"Ayaya, such a beautiful day, the view still never gets boring" the god said, today is his day off from work, so he is excited
"AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Julius is screaming in fright
Hearing this God looked up and saw a random man descending from the sky to then land on god
After landing on God dust was everywhere, there was a huge crater in the backyard causing it to be in ruin

The God and Julius is now coughing like crazy because lord the large dust
After the dust disappeared Julius finally opened his eyes and looked at god, seeing his wings and beard Julius said
"Are you some old angel? Am I in heaven?!"
"Haaaah?! Me an Angel?! Are you downgrading me or something?" God said
"If you're not an angel then what are ya?" Julius asked
"I'm god" he said proudly, hearing god Julius sat up straight and bowed and said
"IM EXTREMELY SORRY MY LORD" 
"Hmmm, I have already forgotten about it, now that I think about it I never had a guest this long, how about some tea?" God said
Hearing this Julius nodded quickly, it would be his biggest honor having tea with god, so after some time the tea got ready and they started drinking
"Now tell me, how did you get here?" God asked
"What do you mean my lord?" Julius confusingly said
"This is my backyard, no angel and mortal comes to this place heck, they don't even know this place exists" God said
'...Huh?' Julius thought
"But I don't really care" God said, hearing this Julius dazed and thought
'Is God this carefree?'

It might seem like an ordinary date and it is an ordinary date for most of the people out there (except those who have their birthdays or any special occasion) but for a guy who was sitting while browsing through Google, it definitely was not. On this particular day, he had finally caught up with the manhua/manga releases of "Tales of Demons and Gods[TDG] " by Mad Snail. He really liked the manga, but he wanted more. So, he searched on Google about similar stories and he found "Otherworldly Evil Monarch [OEM] ". He got curious because the name sounded badass and it seemed like it was not going to be a story where the protagonist keeps on spouting sh¡t about righteousness and slaying evil and protecting the weak and stuff as it had the word "EVIL" in it. He thought that its dumb and he had the adequate reasons to think like that. After all, who in their right mind would risk his life to save a girl who he does not even know properly . It is not even realistic and how in the world can the protagonist be so selfless and so dense when it came to matters of love. It is as if he was hit by a rock in his infancy and his brain was permanently damaged.
After he was done cursing the cliché Manga, he started searching for the manga of OEM. A while later did he came to the realization that OEM does not have a manga. It is actually a novel which is posted online and the chapters are released frequently, and these novels are known as "Webnovels". He also got to know that TDG was originally also a webnovel but since it got really popular, it was transformed into a manga and the animation of TDG was along the way as well.
The name of this guy is Weed.

(as we all know that I, the author has the power to pause this novel world by snapping my fingers, and I will break the 4th wall and this was mentioned in the previous chapter and this is the last time it would be mentioned.
Moving on, as well all know that Japanese are considered as really polite, humble, caring about others etc. people (E/N: Except you) and it is true. Until this guy made an appearance. This character, Weed was meant to be born in U.S.A. or any other western country but God made some mistake and he ended up being born in Japan.
If you are wondering about why his name is Weed, and not some other Japanese names like Hijikata, Kemamaki, etc (E/N: I've never even heard of these names in anime or manga), then I should suggest you to stop being a racist because it is not necessary for a guy to have a Japanese name if he is born in Japan. Actually he was given a good name which was a Japanese name but when he became an adult, he changed it to the thing he liked the most, and that is weed. Although he has never smoked weed but that is an entirely different topic. This guy can not be considered polite. Screw being polite, he constantly curses as if they are verbs and without his "verbs", he cannot complete his sentences. He is a degenerate scum of society and also has this constant urge of pissing everyone off as if the whole world is his enemy. He does not care about anyone but himself, and he does not give a damn about anyone's feelings. He thinks that facts do not care about feelings and prefers facts and logic over anything. He considers himself as an anti-social extrovert. He is 19 year old NEET and wastes his time looking at memes, watching anime and reading manga. He is a racist (E/N: rapist *cough cough*) to the core and will do anything to get on the nerves of others. We will get other information about him later on as the story progresses. He is also not the protagonist of this novel as I have said previously that communism is Supreme in such cases and so, everyone is a protagonist here.
Weed never had a problem in reading a story because he is into Manga a lot so he decided to give OEM a try. He searched for the places where he could read OEM and this was that moment where he got to know about the top dog in webnovel society. The corporate known and "QIDIAN". With some excitement and slight anticipation, (which is very rare by the way) he downloaded the application of Qidian and jumped straight away into the reading OEM. He kept reading and was so hooked that he eventually lost the track of time. After almost 5 hours of continuous reading, he finally closed the app because his stomach was not much happy and showed its discontent by a making a slight yet audible noise(he is hungry for fuck's sake). He got up and went outside his room to make some cup noodles for himself.
After pleasing his beloved belly, he started the app again, but instead of reading the novel, he decided to check other features of the app. He saw various novels of different genres, some novels even caught his attention and he added them into his reading list. He eventually stumbled upon the forum section and clicked on it. There he saw that a group of qidian was made on Facebook and anyone was welcome to submit their application to join it. 
Since Weed already had his Facebook account, he decided to fill the application to join the Facebook group since he did not had anything else to do. Along with the fact that he might get some good novel recommendations in that group. After that he continued reading OEM. After 13 days, his application was accepted and he was a member of the Facebook group of qidian.

After seeing his phone ring with a call from Meng Fan, Yixin immediately picked up the receiver and listened to the voice coming from the other end. Immediately, his expression changed. Then, his scream of excitement could be heard throughout the entire office.
