" Its someone I believed deeply.. and she betrayed me so easily, just for the sake of money.. god knows how many more of them she had cheated this way, her entire family are cheaters.. Ahh.. You too know her, the one whom I was at the hospital, that deaf and dumb girl, Bella.."
Peter's voice cracked as he said her name.. 
" She flew from the spot, I couldn't trace even her shadow anywhere after the incident.. a very clever plan.. but I'll find her soon. What's the situation here.. Is everything alright."
Mark was stumbling after he heard whom the culprit was.. but he couldn't believe it.. Only in this girl's case he was sure, his boss was always wrong..
" What is the situation here?.. Mark??" Peter repeated..
" Its bad.. employees are leaving and asking for a payback.. Writers are asking their works back.. We are running short of money.. If we could somehow prove it was not the company's fault.." Mark replied sadly..
" Then I'll make her confess her crimes to the press.. Mark, control the conditions here, I'll be back soon.."
Just as Peter turned to leave, Jane threw open the door and entered.. " Sorry for interrupting.. But Peter, we have been friends for a long time.. I can't see you suffering like this, I have asked my dad to invest some money on your company and he has promised he will restore your fame back.. So don't worry.. we can face it together.." Jane was adding extra sugar in her words with so much emotions that any ordinary guy would have instantly fallen in her trap.. but not Peter.
" Jane, I appreciate your concern for me. But I had build this company on my own and have reached this top without anyone's help so far. So I'll be really grateful if you stepped out of it. I can handle this on my own.. thank you.." Though Peter sounded just fine, Jane turned red like fire…

Bella thanked Mrs Thomson as she stepped out of her house. The lady, though first seemed to hate her, later on fed her lots of food at her home. She even made her try few of her fancy clothes and packed it for her.. 
" Girls should look more attractive.. you should wear more presentable dresses, .. I cant wear any of these dresses now, so you can have it.. Look at your arm, its so thin, boys usually like chubby girls, you should eat more.. You look so weak.."
Mrs Thompson even packed some snacks for her to carry home.
Bella never got such kind of attention before. There was no one who ever told her to dress up beautifully or eat well and get fat.. She was always asked to stay out of everyone's affairs and lead a quiet life.. And hence she lived her life.. Quieter than anyone else.. shut out from the world.. And she thought that was the most comfortable thing..

Fever and she just called me now and I need to go see her." Joseph said after clearing his throat. And sounded nervous, then Mrs. Jane look at him "Why don't you tell me before?" Mrs. Jane sounded upset.

"I'm sorry!" He replies.
"Then who will follow me now?" she asked with an unhappy expression on her face.

"Why not Luis?" Joseph suggested. Jane looked at Luis.

"Are you ready for this?" She asked.
"He told me about his wife so I would go with you". Luis replied while staring at Joseph.
"Why don't you help him take care of his wife?" Jane asked Luis with a straight face.

"It's my wife we're talking about here and not his! So please!!!" Joseph moved closer to Jane and said angrily.

"Okay fine let go".

Jane and Luis went straight to where the DC private Jet was parked and both of them got in. While Jane was putting on a parachute… Luis looked at Gomez, and their eyes contacted with an eye signal ongoing between them.

The jet engine turned on and they took off.
Jane and Luis held a telescope to look at the zombies from up when they got to the community. Jane holds her telescope and looks down as she was so scared looking at Luis.

"The information was real" she acknowledged.
All of a sudden, Luis pushes Jane out from the helicopter, then he tells Gomez to fly out from that place immediately. Jane was screaming and pulled out her parachute while falling from the sky. 

She landed on top of a parked van that was used to block the entrance of the zone. She was so surprised and said to herself that it was like someone had visited this place. Then she saw almost one hundred zombies running towards her in craves.

She was so scared and didn't know what to do. Then she put her hand inside her pocket and brought out the syringe she wanted to use to inject herself earlier. When those zombies got closer to her trying to drag her down she used her leg to smash one of those zombies hands and broke it.

She took it and got blood out of it with the syringe in her hand.

*At DC*
Fred was so worried. It was almost four hours and no signal from Jane who is not yet back.
Fred told Stone that he's going to look for Jane and Luis. Stone replied that he's coming with him and they both left.

When Luis and Gomez got to Luis's house.
Then he introduced Gomez to his wife and his daughter and showed Gomez the picture of his two sons. One called Mark and the other Joel.
Mrs. Anabl George is thirty-five years old. She is Luis George's wife.

Whilst; 
Grace George is fifteen years old. And she is Luis George first and only daughter. 

*A month earlier*
Luis's sons were on break at school. Luis took his sons Mark and Joel to visit his parents at Tacoma. Mark George is eight years old. While Joel George is six years old. Mark and Joel said they would stay with their grandparent.

Then Luis said he would pick them up in one week's time. After one week. Luis woke up from his bed. In a sitting position, he looked very happy because he's picking up Mark and Joel. His wife Mrs. Anable George has already woken up and prepared breakfast.

Grace was wearing a white short gown sitting on the dining table chair eating bread and egg. Mrs. Anable George was standing close to the dining table, using a white piece of cloth to clean the plate she was holding.

Luis stood up from the bed and walked into the living room and went straight to where Grace was sitting he pecked her from the back. He moved closer to his wife and both of them hugged and pecked each other lovingly.

Luis sits down on the dining table chair and picks up one slice of bread and a mug filled with tea then tells his wife that he would be picking up Mark and Joel today. "Please take care". Mrs Anabel said to Luis.

He ate the bread and drank the tea while Grace was telling her mother that she wants both of them to go shopping. Luis got up from the chair and went straight to the bathroom… took his bath and dressed up.

He picked up his car key on the shelf in his room and went straight to where his car was parked. He got in and drove off heading to Tacoma. He was so close to Tacoma but then he heard a strange echoed sound coming from Tacoma.

Everywhere was silent except the noise.Then he saw a man driving out from Tacoma. Luis stopped him and then stretched his hand towards him, "I'm Luis." The man replied: "Leo"

"What is going on, where is everyone"? Luis asked,
"Everyone has turned into monster!" He replies.

Luis "How, I don't get it?" 
"It just happened, I don't understand also, but I was able to block some road so that others won't be infected." Luis pleads with him to go back. Leo said he was scared because he only watched it on TV and he doesn't know that it exists.

Luis said he got family close by. Leo told him to go back because everyone in that zone has turned into monsters. Luis insisted and begged him. Then Luis gets into his car and keeps on driving towards Tacoma.

Leo also got into his car and drove behind Luis George. They got back to the zone. Where everyone in the zone has turned to flesh-eating monsters. Luis pointed at his parent's house and said "I hope those in that house are saved?"

Then Leo laughed, and said; "No one survived"
That zone had a fence with barbed wire and so many houses were built inside it that people lived in...

On february 12, 2027. In Center for Disease and Pandemic District Hospital Washington, DC. So many staffs are busy working in there; And each of them as it's own position. Some of them are: Luis George, Jane Raymond, John, Fred and Margaret. 
It was past 8am, when Luis George that works mostly on blood samples came to drop a package that contains a zombie's blood on the desk of Mrs. Jane Raymond, who happens to be the director of the District hospital. Luis told Mrs. Jane that, an anonymous person came to deliver a package and it read thus; "A community is full of zombies search for it!"
And later on, Luis betrayed Mrs. Jane.
Margret and Fred argument leads to the blow off of the DC. After the DC was destroyed, those that survives gets to meet a lot of different people on their way while looking for shelter. One of those they met was named Michael.
The world turns into hell when everybody started turning into zombies; then a fight began between the remaining survivors, Zombies, and Aliens. 
Vaccine that was created was later distributed among the other survivors they later met. Unfortunately, the vaccine expired which leads to another tragedy and that makes Michael the last man standing. What next.....?

*Eryck's POV*

"hoi! Tigilan nyo nay an at pumasok na tayo sa loob!" sigaw nni lalaking nakasalamin sa kanila

"okay!" sabay sabay nilang sabi tapos umahon na sila sa dagat at lumapit sa amin

Pasan pasan ni lalaking salamin yung payong at basket

"hoi Rod dalhin mo yang mga banhig" sabi ko kay Rod

"ok" sabi nya "wait! Bakit wala kang dala?"sabi nya sa akin

"wala ng natira eh" sabi ko sbay patalikod sa kanya at umuna na akong naglakad pataas

Ng nakaakyat na kami eh may naramdaman akong ibang presensya sa loob ng villa

"wait!" pagtigil ko sa kanila

"huh? Ano ba Eryck?!" sabi ni Rod

"may tao sa loob" sabi ni lalaking nakasalamin

May lumabas naman sa loob.. isang babaeng nakamaid outfit

Mukhang pamilyar ang mukha nya ah..

"oh! Jane!" sigaw sa kanya ni Rod at lumapit sya dito

Jane?

"ah! JANE!" sabi ko sabay turo sababaeng naka maid outfit

"kilala mo sya kuya?" tanong ni Sandy

"yeah" sabi ko lumapit naman kami kay rod at jane

"magkakilala kayo?" tanong ni rod sa amin

"opo/ oo" sabay naming sabi ni Jane

"kuya who is she?" sabi ni Sandy sabay kapit sa kaliwa kung braso at nakatingin ng masama kay Jane "and whats your relationship?" 

"sya si Jane, wala kaming relasyon no.. maid sya ng mga-" napatigil ako at napaisip

maid sya ng mga Petite family pero bakit?

"wait a minute?, don't tell me na ang lalaking bastos at virgin na to ay ang iyong youngmaster?" tanong ko kay Jane sabay turo kay Rod

"sinong tinatawag mong bastos?" pikon na sabi ni Rod

"opo tama po kayo" walang emotiong sabi ni Jane

"I see kaya pala pamilyar ang villa na to eh, Rod apo ka pala ni John Petite?" tanong ko kay Rod

"yeah lolo ko sya bakit?" sabi ni Rod

"I see so kumusta na ang bastos na yon buhay pa ba?" sarcastic kung sabi sa kanya

"of course buhay pa sya!" sigaw ni Rod "at isa pa panong kilala mo ang lolo ko?" galit nyang tanong

"wait a minute can we go inside at saka natin ipagpatuloy ang usapan sa loob?" suggest ni lalaking nakasalamin

"mas mabuti pa nga" sabi ko

Pumasok na nga kami sa loob..

Naligo muna kami para mawala ang tubig dagat sa balat naming... natapos na akong maligo at nagbihis pinapahid ko ang twalya ko sa ulo ko at lumabas na sa kwarto... 

andon silang lahat sa sala at nakaupo habang katitimpla palang ni Jane ng juice at cookies saka nya inilagay sa gitna ng table..

Napabuntong hininga naman ako sa tension na namomou sa silid..

"bakit naman napakaseryoso nyong tignan jan?" sabi ko sakanila sabay upo sa isang sofa na walang tao

"Eryck" sabi nung babae

"curious lang kami.." nakapout na sabi ni Sandy "sino ba talaga ang babaeng yan at bakit iba ang amoy nya?" sabi ni Sandy

"you should know by now right?" sabi ko sa kanila

"she's a demon servant" seryosong sabi ni lalaking nakasalamin "I never expexted na makakameet ako ng isang demon servant dito ah.." pagpapatuloy nya"

"EEEEEHHH!!!" gulat na sabi ni Rod at Cindy

"si Jane isang de-demon?" nanginginig nyang sabi

"yeah, kala ko ba alam mo Rod?" sabi ko sa kanya

"OF COURSE NOT!!! WALANG SINABI SI LOLO SA AKIN, I never expected na ang maid na sunod sunoran kay lolo ay isang palang demonyo!? How come?!" sabi ni Rod "don't tell 

me may isang secreting kapangyarihan si lolo at napasunod nya ang isang demonyo? Kung ganon meron din ba ako?" excited nyang sabi 

"nope" sabi ko napatahimig naman sya "isang normal na tao lang ang bastos na yon, wala syang ano mang kapangyarihan" bluff kung sabi sa kanya

"ah I see" hopeless nyang sabi "kala ko pa naman may tinatago akong kapangyarihan" walang gana nyang sabi

"so your saying na matagal mo nang kilala ang demon servant na yan Eryck?" tanong ni lalaking may salamin

"yeah maybe?.....hmm 51 taon na?" sabi ko

"52 taon na" sabi ni Jane

"oh yeah 52 years na pala" sabi ko

"no.. kaming mga dobberman ay hindi inatasang hulihin ang isang demonyo, hindi namin pweding gawin yon kaya wala akong gagawin, mga demonyo lang ang pweding humuli ng 

isang demonyo.. " sabi ni Mark

"I see" sabi ni Jane

"so what's your mission?" tanong ni Rod

"that's classified until I find it I won't tell you, sasabihin ko na lang to sa tamang panahon" sabi bi jane

"come on sabihin mo na, malay mo baka matulungan ka pa namin" sabi ni Rod

"tigilan mo nayan Rod, hindi mo sya mapapasalita ginawa na naming yan ng lolo mo pero hindi mo talaga sya mapapasalita" sabi k okay Rod

"I see, ganon bayon kasecreto? Kung ganon hindi na kita pipilitin" sabi ni Rod

"hindi naman sag anon kasecreto pero hindi ko pa talaga nahahanap, in fact I forgot what it is but it was very important that it convince me to live" sabi ni Jane

"it was very important but you forgot about it?!" reklamo ni Rod

"yes, I am in a brick of remembering it" sabi ni Jane

"that's the problem with her she forgot what her mission is, its been 52 years but she could'nt find it yet" sabi ko

"bakit hindi mo maalala?" sabi ni Mark

"nangyayari naman to sa lahat ng pilikula eh, yung yun siguro ganito nangyari sa kanya, nung tumatakas sya ay nabagok sya at ang nakalimutan nya lang ay ang 

importanting bagay na mahalaga sa kanya" sabi ko sa kanila

"sa pilikula lang yun nangyayari Eryck, ibahin mo sa totoong buhay" sabi ni Rod

"siguro ganon nga ang nangyari sa akin" sabi ni Jane

"EH DI NGA?!!" sigaw ni rod

"sabi ko naman sa inyo eh" sarcastic kung sabi

"impossible nasa pilikula ba tayo ngayon? Hindi ako makapaniwala eh" sabi ni Rod saka lingon lingon sa paligid

"hindi po" sabi ni Jane

"I see, kung ganon totoo ang lahat ng ito" tanggap na sabi ni Rod "I see, I see" sabi nya

"is that the only thing you all wanted to ask?" sabi ni Jane

"hmm.. maybe yun lang muna ngayon" sabi ni Mark

"kung ganon ako naman po ang magtatanong kung ok lang sa inyo?" sabi ni Jane nakatayo parin sya

"ah.. ok?" sabi ni Mark

"kung ganon magtatanong na po ako, ano pong mga pangalan nyo kung hindi nyo po mamasamain?" sabi ni jane sa kanila

"ah..eh oo nga pala" sabi ni Mark "ako si Mark Evan Santos, at sila naman sina Sandy at Cindy" pakilala ni Mark

"ah hello Jane" sabi nung babae

Tinitigan naman sya ni Jane ng matagal...

"ah eh bakit?" ilang na sabi nung babae

"im sorry to ask this but what are you really?" tanong ni Jane sa babae

"eh! Ako ay isang tao lang naman?" sabi nya na may patanong pa

"kung ganun napansin mo rin pala" sabi ko kay Jane tumingin naman silang lahat sa akin "so what do you think of her?" tanong ko sa kanya

Lumapit naman sya kay Babae at tinignan nya ito ng mabuti at hinawakan nya sa braso natulala sya ng ilang Segundo....

"um? Jane? Ok ka lang ba?" sabi nung babae sa kanya saka kaway kaway nya sa mukha nito

Wala pa ring responde

"hoi! Jane!" tawag ni Rod sa kanya at nilapitan nya ito at hinawakan sa kamay

At bigla syang nagulat at binitawan nya na yung babae

"ah patawad" paghingi ng tawad ni Jane

"ano bang nangyari sayo Jane? Ok ka lang ba?" tanong ni Rod 

"opo ok lang ako" sabi nya

Biglang tumunog tyan nung babae...

Napatingin naman kaming lahat sa kanya

Pulang pula naman sya sa kahihiyan na dinulot ng tyan nya

"um.." sabi nya

Gabing gabi na pala...

"it seems na gutom na ang sikmura nyo, maghintay lang po kayo at ako'y magsisimula ng magluto" sabi ni Jane sa amin at naglakad na sya papuntang kusina

"ah Jane tulungan na kita!" sabi nung babae at sumunod to kay Jane

"ako din!" ganon din si Sandy

Lahat silang mga babae eh nagtipon sa kusina para magluto.... Kami namang mga lalaki dito ang naiwan...

so pinagpasyahan naming maglaro ng chess

"sh*ite!" talunang sabi ni Rod "ISA PA ISA PA!!!" sabi nya sa akin

"ayoko nga, pang 6 munang talo ito eh, ang hina mo" bluff kung sabi sa kanya

"anong SABI MO!" galit nyang sabi sa akin

"kung ganon ako na naman ang susubok" sabi ni lalaking may salamin

"be my guest" sabi ko sa kanya na nakangisi

umupo naman sya at nagsimula na kaming maglaro

nakalipas ang 32 minuto.....

"pa-paanong natalo ako!" nakayoko nyang sabi na walang gana

"hahahaha! nakakabagot kayong mga kalaban ang hihina nyo!" panlalait ko sa kanila

"nakakainis!" sabi nilang dalawa

"hoi tigilan nyo na nga yan!" sulpot ni Sandy "hindi nyo talaga matatalo si kuya pagdating sa chess no" dagdag nya

"mas lalong nakakainis!" naiinis nilang sabi

"pero kung gusto nyong manalo laban sa kanya, may alam ako" nakangising sabi ni Sandy

"ANO NAMAN YON SANDY? SABIHIN MO!!" sabi ni lalaking nakasalamin

"pero bago yan! kumain muna tayo" nakangiting sabi nung babae

kadahilanang dahilan e gustong gusto nyang inumin ang dugo nito buti na lang at may isang perfume na 
ayaw na ayaw ng mga bampera at yun ang ginamit nya para mawala amoy ni Cindy..at dahil nga walang kakayanan si Eryck na
 magbayad ng upa e napilitan syang makihati kay Cindy ng upa..kaya aalamin ni Eryck kung bakit sa dugo ni Cindy ay sobrang naaatract
sya..

Ace Wagner and Astrid stepped out of the car and shocked the soul of Butler Lionel. Ace stared daggers at him, while Astrid winked at Butler Lionel. Ace told Gordon to follow him inside, in case he needed back up. Gordon was trembling by now. He had a wealth of experience with Ace Wagner's  attitude but this past 2 weeks he has been unpredictable.


For instance, buying lipsticks for a girl, shopping for a girl, and he never had a girl (besides his mother and sister ) sitting in the Maybach Mercedes before. But today he witness him cradling Astrid and making out with her. He wondered if the sun will arise in the west tomorrow. Could it be that he was falling in love with her? Gordon shook his head, believing him to be incapable.


`Is she inside? Jane', Ace asked Butler Lionel.


`Yes sir, May I ask-',


`Keep your questions for next time', he seethed at him. Ace wanted to get this done and over with. He wanted to give Astrid a full tour of the house and make out with her later. A full blown make out session with no skimping.


Astrid gave a hopeless look and mouthed sorry at him, before Ace whisked her into the house. His eyes were constantly glancing at her. Those lips are killing me!


He walked into the hall, holding Astrid's hands who was having difficulty walking in heels. He stopped right at the corner and told her to take a deep breath and walked in (keeping Astrid behind his back). Gordon kept his distance.


Mrs Roselle Wagner wore a dark green dress that reached her knees pairing it with a matching necklace. She sat facing Jane Dixon, dressed demurely in a white sleeveless fit and flare Calvin Klein dress with a single bracelet on her hand. Both were chatting animatedly, before Ace Wagner walked closer to their sofa and cleared his throat, keeping in mind to `hide' Astrid.


Mrs Roselle, with a smile turn to look at Ace and her smile faded abruptly. `Ace?'.


She stood up, prompting Jane to turn her face into Mrs Roselle's direction and her mouth hung open.


`What happened to you.? Your shirt…and…what..what is that hideous mark?', Mrs Roselle was aghast looking at his son's dishevelled hair and shirt. Not to miss lipstick marks on his shirt!


`What do you think mom?', he smiled courteously at Jane Dixon and swipe his hand through his hair.


`You dare!', she was livid by now. Her plans ruined!


`I got carried away and before I knew it, Gordon had to pull me apart, isn't that right?' Ace turned to look at Gordon. Astrid snickered.


`Yes sir. I mean ma'am.', Gordon looked at the carpeted floor, avoiding eye contact.


`But..but…I thought you were single!'. Mrs Roselle shouted. `Why didn't you say so!!' her fists were balled in anger.


Ace yanked Astrid's hand and she stumbled forward. She looked stunning in the blue denim Versace dress hugging her curves coupled with red alluring lips. Ace held her waist tightly.


`Hi, Mrs Roselle', she mumbled timidly.


`You!' Mrs Roselle pointed her finger at Astrid and she flinched in fear.


`Don't 'you' her, mom. Jane meet Astrid. Astrid met Jane', Ace introduced both the ladies without an ounce of guilt or shame.


Jane Dixon was utterly humiliated. She stood up and looked at the couple in front of her. She had to admit both looked got together. She had lovely pale brown eyes and her dimple added to her beauty. Jane had seen Ace couple of times at dinner functions and gala but seeing him up close with a girl surprised her. Ace rarely interacted with a girl. He was the opposite of Hadwin.


`How long have you been going out with my son?', she questioned her with disgust.


Mrs Roselle's face of revulsion had angered Astrid who opened her mouth to retort but Ace beat her to it.


`As long as I can remember mom. Now if you excuse me, I would like to continue where I left before Gordon butted in.', Ace stole a glance at Gordon who had his head down all this while. Good, serves him right!


He spun on his shoes, with Astrid in tow before Jane Dixon spoke,


`Don't worry Mrs Roselle, a tramp can only leave a mark on him. And I don't want to be that' Jane smirked at Astrid.


Both Ace and Astrid stopped in their tracks. Astrid went bat shit crazy after that. She speeds walked towards Jane to give a piece of her mind.


`Your momma must have knocked your prim ass brain when you were a baby.' Astrid touted. `You don't get to call anyone tramp when you are selling your whore ass here to what's already mine', she pointed at Ace. Ace gulped. This is spiralling out of hand now, he thought.


Ace's eyes caught the attention of Gordon and he pointed his head towards Astrid but Gordon shook his head and shrugged his shoulder indicating he did not know how to placate them. Ace wondered what he would say if his bonus were cut in half.


`How dare you tramp!', Jane was screaming by now.


`Well this tramp got the hunkiest vampire out there and you are bitch jealous,' Astrid was on level with Jane, just a foot apart.


`No I am not, bitch. You came in looking like first-class bitch on heat!', Jane inched closer losing her temper and her ladylike mannerism.


`Oh, yes you are jealous as fuck. You just can't believe he choose to MAKE OUT with me when you were having wet dreams about him', Astrid's anger was rolling out in waves.


Mrs Roselle was stunned silent at the scene unfolding before her eyes.


`I don't care if he screws you, but I am more suitable than a whore like you!' Jane lurched forwards to fight with Astrid, but Ace was quicker. He pulled Astrid to his chest blocking her from Jane Dixon.


`You went over the line calling my woman names, Jane Dixon. If I were you, I'd leave before I cause further damage.' Ace's eyes were cold, devoid of any emotions and he stared icily at Jane.


`Your entire family is crazy shit', she didn't bother to acknowledge Mrs Roselle and ran to the exit, with Butler Lionel assisting her.


`Are you okay Astrid?', Ace turned to look at Astrid who was quiet. Her face was blank as a paper.


She shoved him away, still angry. Ace got upset. He didn't want her to leave.


`Don't drag me in your ass shit playdates', she snarled at him before turning to Mrs Roselle and apologizing, bowing slightly.


Mrs Roselle blinked at her and Ace before leaving the hall without a word. She needs to speak to Ace Wagner tomorrow. Gordon excused himself, not willing to witness any more fights or involve himself in it. Butler Lionel had to calm his poor heart and hoped to have a conversation with Astrid, knowing full well Ace despised him anywhere near her.

Astrid drank the warm lemon honey water and stared at his chest again. She could not help herself but ask, `The words on your chest. What does it mean?’

`Show me?’ Ace smirked.

Astrid knew what he was doing, and she played along. Her fingers trailed to the Japanese words and stopped there.

`Zephyr belongs to me.’ He muttered.

`And this?’, Astrid spoke softly, her fingers moving to the opposite direction. 

`Divine, precious lady. Time for action now’. He grabbed her fingers and started kissing each, starting from the base to their tips, maintaining his eye contact with her. It was so sensual and stimulating, his soft lips kissing as if her fingers were her lips. Astrid felt butterflies fluttering in her stomach. Her left hand unconsciously, touch his face and he leaned on her hands, she mustered enough courage to prevent her mind from going into an overdrive of sentiments, and uttered `I need to pee’.

Ace chuckled and smooched her cheek.

"No... don't go!!" Jason shouted as he tried to reach out to Jane, but after two minutes of frantically searching around in the air, he realized that there was no one in the room anymore. Jason immediately tried to get out of the room to search for Jane. He tried to search for the exit, but unfortunately, he could not find it.

"Why??" Jason cried out inwardly as he slumped into the chair, as the realization of his helplessness slowly sunk into him.

"Damn it, just where is this brat. Looks like we are going to be in deep trouble." mused Number Three as he kept on searching for Jason. 'Tch, there is nothing here. Let me return and see if Number Four got some lead'

But just as he was heading back, suddenly he heard a male voice calling out in the corridors.

"Master Reed, Master Reed, where are you?" 

'Ah, finally!!' Number Three finally felt as he a load had been taken off their shoulders as he called out...

"Disciple Jason, over here!!"

"Huh, who is there?"

"Disciple Jason, I am an Elder who Sect Master Reed sent to bring you to him. Please come with me."

"Alright, lead the way"

This 'Jason' was, without a doubt, Jane masquerading as Jason. It seemed as if the trick was successful and she could put Reed off Jason's tail for the time being.

'My only wish is to have my mother rescued from that damn bastard. Jason, please do your best.' She thought in her mind as she followed Number Three.

Soon, they arrived in the dark room where Reed was anxiously waiting for them. After all, he was also on a timer and did not know how long it would take for the Skull Mark to take over Jason even with the formation in the Pool of Damnation in full force.

"Sect Master, I have brought Disciple Jason with me."

"What took you so long? Ah, forget it. Go and join the other Elders. Take Elder Four with you."

"Yes, Sect Master"

The hooded man bowed as he left the room, leaving Jane all alone with Reed.

"Jason, follow me," Reed said as he started walking out of the room with large steps.

"Master, wait for me," Jane said as she hurried to keep up with Reed.

As they were walking, Jane asked Reed, "Master, why are we moving so quickly? Did something happen?"

"Jason, I know that it has been your dream for long to embark on the cultivation journey. I, as your Master, have failed you by not trying to speed up the process." Reed replied as he continued his brisk walk.

"Master, it is nothing like..." Jane tried to say something when Reed cut her off.

"Listen now, Jason. I have decided that this matter cannot be delayed any longer. That is why I need you to fully prepare your body for the arduous training that I have in mind for you. To prepare your body, I have specifically created a bath that can open up all the pores and energy channels in your body."

"But Master, I just took that bath..."

"You fool, that bath was just to relieve you from the stress of your travel. How can it be enough to prepare your body for cultivation? This time, you are not to come out of the bath until I come to take you out of the bath. You understand?" Reed reprimanded seriously.

'Hmm. It looks like this bastard is in a real hurry to further his plans. Did something happen?' Jane thought.

"Master, you seem to be in a foul mood. Did something happen?" 

"Ah, nothing. It is just some flys that are buzzing around the sect. Don't worry about it. Your Master will take care of those pests." Reed replied as he furrowed his eyebrows.

"Ok, Master."

As Jane kept following Reed, she could not help but have doubts in her mind. 'It looks like this bastard is facing enemies and hence wants to summon the Skull Lord to deal with them. Could it be my people? In that case, there is still hope!!! I have to endure inside the Pool of Damnation. I don't think that this bastard will be able to pay much attention to me or Jason since he would be busy dealing with those invaders.'

"Ok, Jason," Reed said as they finally reached the Pool of Damnation. "You can go in now. Remember, do NOT come out of the Pool until I come to take you. I have spent a lot of resources on arranging this bath for you and we cannot let it go to waste. You understand?"

"Yes, Master. Please don't worry about me. I swear I will not leave this place. You can rest assured and take care of your matters." Jane said as she shut the door and went inside the bath. 

As Reed heard 'Jason' go inside the bath, he had a sinister smile on his face. 'Brat, this is probably the last time we are meeting. Do not worry. Once the Skull Lord arrives and we take over this entire plane, your name shall be forever passed down the generations of our temple. In a way, you shall become an immortal for our temple and hence fulfill your dream. Hahaha'

Just to ensure that there were no further hiccups in his plan, he started casting a formation. After about a minute of chanting, a purple web-like formation with a skull mark in its center appeared in front of the door. Once the formation was successful, he silently left to prepare the other sacrifices.
