The Next Day.

Yang Chen woke up, took a shower, and got dressed in his black suit. He would be visiting Jane and going to his company shortly after.

Yang Chen looked at Ruoxi and Rose who were sleeping on the bed and smiled. Rose had a room but she would frequently do night activities with Yang Chen. Both girls would always team up and gang up on him but, in the end, it was useless. This man's libido was on another level which would leave them both dead tired.

Yang Chen then teleported to Jane's place, which was back in Zhonghai. The place she was staying at was quite rural since she liked the peace. The streets were also vacant since it was still morning and nobody was able to see him magically appear out of nowhere.

He opened the door since Jane had altered her doorknob so only he would be able to enter without a key.

Once he entered, he saw Jane standing near the couch with a nervous face, and he became surprised. Not because of her nervousness, but because of what she was wearing.

Jane was wearing a thin grey dress made of wool that only reached her thighs which exposed her legs. Reaching her thighs was an understatement as you could see a good portion of her white skin. Her dress was also quite tight as you can see the outline of her curves along with noticeable slight cleavage. She was also barefoot as she was in her own home.

Jane seeing Yang Chen's reaction, starting panicking internally. 

'He thinks I'm a slut, doesn't he?! Uhh, I shouldn't have trusted mother's advice and dressed like this!'

Last night, Jane was extremely happy that Yang Chen was going to visit her. At the time, her mother had called to check on her and see how she was doing since she missed her quite dearly. Not being able to suppress her happiness, she spilled the beans and told her Yang Chen was coming over. Catherine started teasing her and advised her to dress in a certain way so she can make him happy. Jane bought it and dressed like this only to find out her mother was probably playing a prank on her.

Jane cursed at her mother and started panicking more. She was even lowering the hems of her dress as she was embarrassed at how short it was. She's never dressed in this manner and if you looking closely you could probably see her pink panties.

"...Ah-..." Jane couldn't utter a word. Seeing Yang Chen not speaking didn't help either.

"Ahem..."

Yang Chen cleared his throat and turned around. He didn't want her to panic more just by him checking out this wonderful sight.

"My bad, I should've knocked before coming in." Yang Chen said with no regrets.

"No...it was my fault..." Jane didn't want Yang Chen to blame himself.

"Do you...like it?" Jane suddenly asked.

She was referring to her revealing dress. She still wanted to know if it made him happy or if her mother was really playing a prank on her.

Yang Chen felt his throat was a little dry and replied with his back faced to her.

"I'm a guy so...yes, I do like it."

Jane's heart started to race at his words. She unconsciously revealed a bashful smile.

"...Then you can turn around," Jane said.

If she were to find out Yang Chen didn't like this outfit because it was too revealing, she would have burned it and sent the ashes back to her mother with threats.

"You sure?" Yang Chen asked with his back still facing her.

"Yeah."

Yang Chen turned around and witnessed this marvelous scene for a second time. Again, with no regrets.

His eyes were fixated on her. If it was any other woman that had no relation to him, he wouldn't spare them the time. But Jane was someone important to him.

Jane suddenly finding courage, decided to walk closer to him.

Now in front of him, Jane gently grabbed his right hand and placed it between her big breasts.

Yang Chen's breath became hot as he felt his hand in a cloud of huge marshmallows. He then heard her say something that spiked his arousal.

"...You can do anything to me."

Jane only had eyes for him. Her heart, body, life, or whatever it can be. It all belonged to the man in front of her.

Yang Chen wasn't an idiot. He has already known her feelings toward him. And he would act on them and push her down at this very moment but something was stopping him.

It was Ruoxi and Rose. He couldn't hurt them because of his scummy ways. But Jane was special to him. Why? Ever since Jane was young, she has devoted her life to Yang Chen. You could say, she lived her life for him and always will.

Yang Chen couldn't help but feel that warmth.

In his previous life, he read the novel and knew about Jane. And it pissed him off at how the original Yang Chen handled his relationship with her. She had to put herself on the brink of death for him to finally accept her. What kind of bullshit was that?

But all that was irrelevant now. He was now Yang Chen and this decision falls onto him.

In the end, Yang Chen removed his hand from Jane's bosom.

It wasn't a rejection from him but he needed a little time to think before he fully answers her feelings.

But Jane didn't take it that way. She had thought this was his way of rejecting her.

Jane wanted to cry. She forced herself not to though. She didn't want Yang Chen to feel guilty about this. But it was hopeless as some tears slipped away.

Yang Chen smiled warmly and wiped her tears.

"Jane, can you give me some time before I can answer your feelings?"

Jane froze. She didn't expect this outcome. Her heart couldn't help but bounce in joy as this wasn't a rejection. She then wiped the rest of her tears on her own and released a content smile.

"Mn."

 A few minutes passed by and the tension faded. 

"Are you hungry, by any chance?" Jane asked with a considerably better mood.

It wasn't a rejection so it was a win in her book. She's been waiting for his answer for years so she could wait for as long as it takes if it means he would accept her.

Yang Chen was craving food. He left early this morning so he didn't have time to eat breakfast.

"I am."

"Then let me cook for you," Jane said with glee.

Yang Chen was a little surprised. He didn't expect the Princess of Wales to be able to cook.

Jane showed a confident look. Ever since she found out Yang Chen's stomach was endless, she had learned to cook food from all of the places she's visited as one of the greatest minds to ever walk this planet. Calling her a genius was an understatement by far.

Yang Chen nodded and followed her to the dining area. He then became surprised at how much food there was on the table. 

Jane woke up extremely early to make all this food for him. Yang Chen knew this, so the only thing he could do was eat everything on this table.

As they were eating, they both started catching up on what they have been doing these days.

Jane was shocked that Yang Chen had moved to Kyoto so he can expand his business. She was a little sad as she came to China, only for him to go to a different country.

Yang Chen then started to talk about his product and Jane grew intrigued. 

"This game sounds fun!" 

"Well, I recently thought of the game design but it will still take me some time before I can release it to the mass."

"So I was thinking if you would be able to help me design this game so we could release it sooner?" Yang Chen asked.

Jane was about to accept without hesitation, but she suddenly thought of something.

"On one condition."

"What's that?" Yang Chen asked curiously.

Jane revealed a cheeky smile, "You take me to Kyoto with you."

Yang Chen had no problems with this.

"Do you have a place in Kyoto or want me to help you find one?"

"I've been to Kyoto before so I have a place over there. I also have some students I want to check up on." Jane said pleasantly.

"Then after we're done, you should pack a bag so we could head over there."

Jane nodded and they both continued eating their breakfast with Yang Chen finishing almost everything.

After their meal, Jane got dressed and packed some clothes in a small suitcase.

Jane had her long blonde hair freely out, a white thin sweater, dark blue jeans that highlighted her long legs, and brown high heeled boots. She also had an unbuttoned thin coat, that reached her waist, and a thin pale scarf that wrapped around her neck as the temperature in Kyoto had dropped recently and it had gotten a little colder these days.

Yang Chen couldn't help but admire her beauty once more.

Jane received another win for the day as she saw Yang Chen checking her out so she became elated.

Yang Chen then teleported with Jane back to Kyoto.

(AN: Don't bash me lol. If MC accepted her then and there, he'd be no different than the original Yang Chen. Like I said before, Jane will be in the Harem but I'm not going to rush it. This will also be beneficial for the future Harem members:)

Chapter 108
"This style, would look really lovely on you" Amaka pointed out to one of the dress patterns, which the designer had sketched out to show Jane. 
Ever since the news of her and Jeffery's engagement went public, different top designers in Lagos, have been approaching them, bidding for them to design Jane's wedding dress. At first Jane was overwhelmed with the choice of who to pick, but finally she settled for one, because he was really good at what he does, and he also came highly recommended by a top celebrity, which also happened to be Jeffery's good friend. The designer was going to design Jane and Amaka's dress for the wedding.
"Yeah, I love the design too" Jane said to the designer, who was over the moon with joy that Jane liked his design. 
"That would be lovely, so I would take your measurements" The designer brought out his tape rule as he spoke. 
After they were through at the designer's, Amaka went back home to rest as it was weekend, while Jane went over to Jeffery's parents' house. His mother had asked her to come, so they could pick designs for the hall decorations.
When Jane got there, Runke was in the sitting room looking at some wedding brochures. 
"Good afternoon ma" Jane greeted her, as she walked over to where she was seated.
"Oh my dear Jane, you are here already. Welcome my dear" 
"Thank you ma"
"Well, don't just stand there, come sit with me" Runke patted the couch she was sitting on. Jane obliged her, and went over to sit on the couch. 
"I was just going through the decoration designs, that the wedding planner brought to show me. Now that you are here, we can go through them together and pick a design for the hall decorations"
Jane could see the joy written all over her face, ever since she and Jeffery had told her, that they were getting married in a month's time, she has been over the moon with excitement. It was exactly what she needed to take her mind off what has been happening in her family, especially after Erica's surgery.
"Which would you prefer ma?" Jane asked, as they flipped through the pages of the brochures, and looked at the designs together.
"It's your wedding dear, so which design would you prefer?" Jane pointed at a particular design she liked. She had chosen gold and army green, as her colors of the day. So that particular design was going to be a perfect fit.
"Then, this design it is then. Let's check out the center pieces, and charger plates to be used''. 
Jane and Runke went through different brochures for different designs and patterns for the wedding day, until Jane became tired, and hungry. She looked at her soon to be mother in-law, as she kept smiling and making plans for the wedding, not showing any sign of tiredness. Isn't she tired? Jane wondered within herself, now she knows where Jeffery got his tireless spirit from. She smiled as she remembered the first encounter she had with him in his house.
"I can see that you are tired, why don't we stop here for now? Probably we can get something to eat, and then continue?" Runke asked Jane as she yawned from exhaustion.
"Or maybe, we can continue another day? I really need to go home and rest ma" Jane said calmly, trying her best not to displease Runke.
"Alright my dear, we will continue some other time. But we are still going to have that food though" she led Jane into the kitchen, where she served out two plates of yam sauce, and some freshly cooked yam, which Jane suspected the housekeeper must have prepared while they were busy picking out designs.
"Would you please, help me take those to the dinning, while I get us some water?" She said to Jane who quickly carried the plates to the dinning.
"I need you to be free around me my dear" Runke said to Jane as they sat down to eat. "I noticed you have been a little uptight, and I need you to know that you can see me as your mother. Okay?"
"Thank you ma"
"I'm glad, you and my son have decided to go on with the wedding, despite what has been happening in your relationship. This is a thing of joy, I can't wait for you both, to start having your own children, or wait o, are you already pregnant? Is that why you both are rushing the wedding?" Runke was looking at Jane with scrutiny.
The yam Jane had in her mouth got stuck in her throat as she tried to swallow to it, this caused her to choke. Jeffery's mother, quickly got up from her seat, and started rubbing Jane's back as she gave her some water to drink.
"Sorry my dear, drink more water" she continued to rub on Jane's back, even when she has stopped coughing.
"Thank you ma" Jane said to her, still not knowing what to make of the woman's question.
"It's okay, my dear I shouldn't have asked you a question when I knew you had food in your mouth. I'm sorry my darling"
"It's not your fault ma"
"It's okay'' she went back to her seat. ''So are you pregnant?" She asked again not giving up on the question.
"No ma, I'm not pregnant"
"Okay, that's good. In as much as I would want to carry you and Jeffery's child, I still think things should be done in the right order"
"Yes ma" Even though Jane didn't understand what the woman meant, by things being done in the right order.
"The wedding is just few weeks away, I would advise you both stay away from each other. No need in engaging in what you will be doing, for the rest of your life together. So that means you can't have sex with my son, until after the wedding. Do you understand what I'm saying my dear?"
"Yes ma" Jane quickly finished her food and begged to leave, with the excuse that she wasn't feeling well.
As Jane stepped out of the house, she received a call from Jeffery. She picked up the phone smiling. "Hey handsome"
"Hi there, beautiful are you still at my parents'?"
"I'm just leaving there now"
"I'm around the area, I'm coming to pick you up" 
Few minutes later, Jeffery came to pick Jane up from front of his parents' gate. 
"Aren't you going to stop by, and say hi to your mom?" She asked Jeffery who wasn't making any attempt to go inside as he took her purse from her, and opened her side of the door for her. 
"Nah, we already saw this morning, and I just spoke to my dad on the phone, he said he isn't home"
When they got into the car, Jeffery bent over and kissed her. "I have missed you so much"
"But we were together this morning?"
"And this is 6pm already, enough time for me to miss my fiancée" 
"You just love using that word, don't you?"
"You have no idea, you just wait until we are officially married, I'm so going to use the word wife, you would get tired"
''How did your meeting Lauretha go?''
''It went well, we are working things out gradually'' Jeffery didn't want to tell her, Lauretha had given him an ultimatum to breakup with Jane, and then marry her, or forget about seeing his son.
When they got to Jeffery's house, Jane went upstairs to her room and took the bag containing her things.
"What are you doing?" Jeffery asked.
"I'm going back to my apartment"
"Why? I thought you were planning on staying here until tomorrow?"
"Yeah, but that was before I had a talk with your mother"
"You had a talk with my mother? What about?"
"Well..... she sort of said; we shouldn't be involved in things that we are going to be doing for the rest of our lives together"
"What things are you talking about?"
"Well you know, like sleeping together, and having sex"
Jeffery smiled as he walked over to where Jane was. He raised her chin with his hand, gently teased her lips with a kiss, then slowly deepened the kiss, making Jane to drop the bag she was holding on the floor. And in a spilt second, he had her against the wall, using of his hands to hold her two hands above her head, in a firm grip. He held her body against the wall with his hips. His lips still on hers, his tongue expertly exploring her mouth. Janes moans into his mouth as her tongue joined his, in an unhurried, and steady erotic dance.

Are you sure you want to resign? Ah Cai, from what I see, the woman your mother has been stealing the designs from is rather stupid. Tell your mother to ask her if she's willing to become my gunner."
Before Ah Cai could say anything, Jane's assistant ran over hurriedly. "Sister Jane, you're trending."
Jane took the design that Ah Cai had just printed out and took a careful look at it. She was indifferent about the assistant's words. "What's so shocking about it? I'm the hottest designer in the jewelry industry recently. Isn't it very normal for me to be trending?"

It been a month since rosella thought that she would be destroy but after a week of nothing happening to her she was finally at rest ,work has been going on smoothly for her . She and Jane friendship has now be growing stronger as each day passes...oh have I also forgot to mention that rosella and her team work on a big project that came out successfully..... actually it was all on rosella... before the project each team was ask to work on a design for an estate there were given just a week which was a short period of time , so that week was a busy week for the interior designers , luckily for there rosella team ,rosella was already working on a design .....with her design and the design from her other team members there were able to came out with something.

There was a rule place in rosella team that any new member of the team would be the one to present for their team.... Rosella was very happy at the same time nervous . When Adria heard that rosella was the one who would be representing their team she laughed saying that rosella was good for nothing person and that Cassie was a fool for handling such a huge project to rosella ....rosella did the one peaceful thing she knows she ignore her and also try to avoid her .

On the day of the presentation although rosella was nervous she was determined to win the project .....so each of the team brought out their design and there were ask a question and one of the question was

Opening his eyes for the rays of sunlight hitting his face checking the clock on his phone 6:13 AM, slowly getting up in the bed with his short haggard hair with the noticeable silver hair on his head that is spreading, he/ she stand up out of bed going to the bathroom washing his face and brushing his teeth then he/ she goes to his daily business in the toilet.

James: 'No matter how I look at it it still weird for me sitting than standing' he said the feeling for the supposed 20 years of him being a male that he/ she do his thing turns to a different turn when he/ she change.

Going out of the bathroom he see her mother all dress-up with a luggage that tells she will be gone for days.

James: "Mom, where are you going?" he said knowing to were will she go.

Mary: "My boss said we will have a trip for a meeting out of town, so you two will be together for the most part of the next weekend" she said strapping her purse to her shoulder, she look at James that notices his unchanged hair color. "Why are your hair color is different do the school approved that?" she said pointing the obvious.

James: "Well they don't mind it, they don't even called me on how I look, anyway mom how long are you staying here, you didn't notify me when did you coming here?" he said remembering what he said to Jane in their talk.

Mary: "Is that so, as for your question you didn't go home for the past year, so we will stay here for a ling time" she said kissing him in the cheek. "Oh and by the way if there is  you need money you'll talk to Jane, she has the budget for the entire weekend, so careful if your going to any public places ok, bye" she then go out of the apartment.

James: "Well Mom is out I will clean the house first" he/ she said going to the back of the house and getting the cleaning supplies.

While he/ she is sweeping and dusting the top furniture, he hear the other bedroom door open coming out is her sister with a messy look.

Jane: "Hey where's mom?" she said groggily walking to the bathroom.

James/ Jessica: "Mom said she have a meeting for a week, so the two of us are the only people in the house" he/ she said doing his/ her work.

Jane: "Ok, but anyway we will go to the mall after we finish cleaning" she said entering the bathroom and closing the door.

For the reminder time the two of them in the house doing their respective area, both of them help each other in the house work to finish the chores. When the time hits 8:30 AM Jane said something to her brother (well supposed to be little sister).

Jane: "Go and wash yourself I in the meantime will find a suitable clothes for you" she said with a giggle going to her luggage.

James/ Jessica: "Wait, your not thinking what I'm thinking, for me to wear?" he/ she said nervously.

Jane: "Of course silly, what else are you going to wear? your boys clothes, not gonna happened" she said in her room.

James/ Jessica: "NO! no! no! not in my life will I wear those girly girl clothes" he/ she said disliking the idea of him cross-dressing, but she was technically the opposite gender but the his mind is not. 

Jane: "Oh don't be picky, you are my little sister now, and you agree that we are going to buy clothes for you, so will wear what I say and that's final" she said to make sure that he/ she will not back down on their agreement.

James/ Jessica: "F–fine" he/ she said reluctantly to follow her orders, then go to the bathroom.

When James (or Jessica is what I called her) was in the bathroom. After he/ she finished in her/ his bath, he/ she goes to his sister's bedroom with a towel wrapped around his body, with her short 1/3 silver black hair, her bulging chest and her snow white skin that reflect a beauty. Entering the room, she can see that Jane is almost done finding the dress she will wear to James. 

While Jane was looking at the spare clothes she brought from her luggage, she see James came with her wet hair. "This is your going to wear to the mall" she said giving a V-neck blue dress with a light blue highlight of a beautiful nature design all around.

When James see that her sister wants him/ her to wear she's giving, he look at her with a 'are you kidding stare'.

Seeing James expression Jane then talk to her: "Just wear it, you agreed to our agreement" she said crossing both of ber hands with a frown.

James/ Jessica: "But I don't like it! can I wear something different and not girly?" he/ she said not ready in his suppose change.

Jane: "Well if you don't like it, how about this" she said bringing another set of dress. This time it's a backless peach colored with a white tiny flower design strap on the waist. "So which will you pick?" she said bringing both of the dress.

James/ Jessica: "Is there others, other than dresses?" he/ she said not liking Jane's pick.

Jane: "There is no other clothes for you to choose, this two is the only spare that you will borrowed. But, no way in hell you will wear your boys clothes, you are a girl, wear to what is appropriate for your gender" she said disagreeing on what he will wear for their outing to the mall.

James/ Jessica: "*Sigh*" with nothing to say, he/ she gave up arguing to what he's going to wear and take the blue dress. "And what will I wear for footwear?" he/ she said.

Jane: "For footwear, this will suit you" she said bringing out a blue strap heel. (I don't know, any women footwear's)

Jane: "Well, after I take a bath we go to the mall, ok" she said walking out for James to change.

James/ Jessica: 'I only hope that my any of my classmates will not meet me wearing this.' he/ she said looking at the dress laid in the bed.

'Here goes nothing.' Lucas Johnson was standing in front of a tattoo shop, clutching his precious black bag with a black rose on it. He was nervous since this would be his very first tattoo.
 
He opened the door, and the bells on the door jingled, surprising him slightly. A woman standing at the information desk looked up and smiled welcomingly. Lucas did his best to return the smile and approached the woman.
 
"Hi, I'm Lucas Johnson. I reserved a meeting with one of your tattoo artists, Jane Smith." The woman then looked down and flipped a few pages on a clipboard.
 
"Ah, yes. You've requested a black rose in the same design as the one on your bag?" - Lucas gave her a quick nod. - "Then could I see the bag, please?" He gave her the bag, and she looked at the design, shock evident on her face.
 
"Isn't this the drawing of Ms Dawn Wood?" - Lucas nodded, smiling slightly. - "We have the design with us; she gave this to us about four years ago, after she got her semicolon tattoo, saying it'll 'be handy when the time is right'."
 
She then lifted the phone and dialled the number of Jane Smith's room. "Yes? Who's at the front?" Jane answered.
 
"It's Mr Lucas Johnson, with the design by Ms Dawn Wood. He said he reserved with you."

"Oh, right! Let him in. I got everything prepared, so you can just send him in, with the drawing."

"Okay." With that, the receptionist handed him the drawing of the same rose and told him to go to the room at the very end, the one that has a mint-coloured door.

Lucas nodded, and then entered the room to find a woman sitting on a black chair. On her wooden desk was a photo of Dawn and her, which made Lucas a bit sad.

"You were friends with her?" He asked, letting her know his presence.

She turned around with a small smile. "We were very good friends. I'll be at the funeral."

He slowly nodded and then said, "But not close enough to read an obituary, huh?"

"Well... Things didn't end well with me and her. I'm a Christian and when she came out to me as a pansexual, I couldn't understand and we lost contact. I knew she had died from my other friend who kept contact."

"That would be Evelyn, right? Evelyn Simmers." Lucas recalled, remembering her on the list of people he had to call, written by Dawn about a week before her death. Evelyn Simmers is also pansexual, but she never came out, so Lucas supposed that was why they remained as friends.

She nodded and changed the subject, back to being the professional tattooist she is. "Hand me the drawing and I'll start the job. It'll take some time, so while I do that, could you tell me more about her? I still want to know how she ended up dying. I only know it's small-cell lung cancer."

He sighed a bit while handing her the drawing. "Sure, she probably would've wanted you to know it."

Lucas then sat down on the chair snd rolled his sleeve up. "I want you to tattoo it so that I can see it upside-down, on the left arm. The colour is just black and don't change it. It'll change the meaning and I don't want that happening."

"Right, since the black rose means the loss of a close person or your significant other."

"Yeah, and to me Dawn was more like a girlfriend than a friend."

While getting the design on the place where Lucas wanted it to be, Jane informed him that she is almost ready to start. "I'll tell you what she said as her last words when the story reaches that place."

By that time, Jane was all prepared for the tattooing. "Okay, I'm gonna start now, so begin when you're ready!"

Lucas let out a deep breath to prepare himself. "This story begins about three years ago. It was the final year of high school and nearing prom season. Dawn couldn't come to school a few weeks before the preparation for prom began. Her parents had reserved an appointment with my uncle, who was her doctor. That was when she found out she had cancer."

*Please keep in mind that this book describes cancer, death, depression and self-harm in detail.
Dawn Wood is a healthy girl, in the final year of high school. She always has prepared to be a kind girl. However, when she comes out as a pansexual and get diagnosed with small-lung lung cancer(SCLC), her life suddenly changes.
