Born a serf on a ex industrial planet destined for being a metallic wasteland Wolf was not happy about his choices so he took destiny into his own hands and made a choice.
This story is about a boy who leaves home behind to beat destiny and he won’t take no for an answer. This is a science fiction oof a possible future the first entire chapter will be just background and information about the world he finds himself in as he struggles to get off world.

Exiting the warp gate, they entered another gate before finally arriving back in the Abandoned Lands. Looking around, the familiar military base filled with soldiers marching and training could be seen.

The two of them walked by as the gaze of the soldiers were on them. Wang Tao smiled when he saw them stare at him before calling at the Blackgold Python Tiger.

Whoosh!

A golden magic circle appeared in the air, as a large gold and black tiger appeared from within the magic circle. Wang Tao jumped on as he took flight leaving behind Ye Qin as well as the crowd.

Ye Qin shook his head as he called out the Qiulong.

Whoosh!

A large golden magic circle appeared while the roar of a dragon shook the very souls of the soldiers and their monsters. When it appeared in its chibi form, it stared at the soldiers before transforming as it coiled around Ye Qin.

The jaws of the soldiers all dropped to the ground when they saw a 20-meter long dragon not far from them. Some of them with snake-type monsters felt like kneeling when it had appeared.

Ye Qin patted its head as he jumped in the air and took flight to follow Wang Tao who had been long gone.

Flying for a bit, he caught up to his best friend as they headed straight forward.

Ye Qin and Wang Tao flew by the places that they had once been through, the monsters that were nearby were too scared to move when they passed through.

The two left them alone since they couldn't provide much xp for them and headed deeper into the Abandoned Lands.

After flying forward for two hours, they found a pack of wolf-type monsters. Each of the individual monsters was strong, being roughly around Level 30.

The pack in front of them had one leader, with dozens of its followers. Even though it was day time, they were out hunting.

Ye Qin and Wang Tao looked at each other and nodded. They flew in closer towards the pack and instantly attacked them.

The Dark Gray Wolf leader had long spotted them thanks to its strong sense of smell, but it couldn't do much but fight since it could feel the overwhelming pressure being exerted at it.

The Qiulong flew by and surrounded the pack of wolves with its large body, caging them in like a mouse in a mousetrap. The Blackgold Python Tiger shot a ball of ice into the center of the wolf pack instantly freezing them over.

The results of their training with the Peak Master were now showing. During their training, their monsters had Leveled up to 30. The Peak Master became more and more serious as they got stronger allowing them to level up faster and continue growing at a rapid pace.

The rate of their training far surpassed others, their growth rate of a few months was equivalent to other tamers spending almost a decade of training through regular means.

Since they were training in an irregular way, naturally their growth would improve rapidly, making their growth incomparable to others.

With a single blast of ice, the Dark Gray wolves all froze in place, only the leader of the pack could still show a reaction as it stared at Ye Qin and Wang Tao standing in the air.

Once the wolves were all frozen, the Qiulong shot out tiny energy beams at each individual Dark Gray Wolf. The ice was pierced through as the wolves all died instantly when the beams penetrated their heads.

However, he left one wolf remaining alive as Wang Tao let it run off without giving chase. When it had left, they looted the bodies of the Dark Gray wolves and stealthily followed the wolf that they let runoff.

They stayed in the air as they followed it, making sure that it didn't know that it was being followed. After a while, it stopped at a cave and looked around before heading inside.

Ye Qin and Wang Tao flew down close to the cave entrance and spoke, "So this is its den." Ye Qin said.

"This feels kind of cruel, but when we think about the past, others would say it's fair and that they deserve it." Wang Tao replied.

The two then jumped off and their monsters changed into their chibi forms as they headed inside the cave.

Step. Step.

The cave was dark, but they could still make their way through, by following the sound of flowing water along the side of the cave walls that occasionally dripped.

Passing through the cave, the two of them began to see light across the other side and followed it all the way. When they entered, they could hear the sounds of hundreds of Dark Gray wolves in front of them.

Grrrr. Grrrr.

The sound of growling could be heard. It was obvious that the Dark Gray Wolves knew of their entry when the wolf they had let off returned.

Looking ahead, they could see a large wolf being surrounded by many other wolves which were obviously the leaders of each pack. Beneath them, were hundreds and hundreds of Dark Gray wolves, waiting for their king's orders to hunt.

Surprisingly, the space around them was spacious. Though it didn't allow his dragons to transform, the problem would be solved if he summoned all seven of them.

Grrr. Grrr.

The hundreds of Dark Gray wolves charged at the two brothers like a waterfall.

The Blackgold Python Tiger transformed and roared before dashing into the crowd of wolves. In front of Ye Qin, six magic circles of various colors were called out at the same time.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

The six remaining dragons all appeared from his Monster Sea at once, as they let out a heaven shaking and earth-shattering roar!

Yeshua already thought of what he would buy. What he needed now was a proper Alter Beast. The genome sequence in the mysterious shard could not be used so he had to make the AI construct a level 1 genome sequence to match his soul.
Of course, he would not buy a genome potion. The price of a level 1 genome potion was 100 gold coins and that was the cheapest standard ordinary genome potion. The price differed depending on the type of the genome sequence, its rarity and its rank.
Yeshua only had around 700 gold coins together with his savings and the money he got from Wendel's house. Alterers also needed to buy gene medicines that would help them in their cultivation so money was important for them.
Yeshua had a different plan and he would be able to get an Alter Beast cheaply but at the same time not an ordinary rank. It was even possible to have an elite rank Alter Beast.
"What do you want to purchase, sir?" The woman behind the counter was smiling at Yeshua professionally.
"I want to buy level 1 genome crystals of wolf species."
The clerk paused as she did not think that the young man would purchase genome crystals. Usually, genome crystals were sold by hunters. Only, gene artisans and genome scholars would purchase them. Looking at the young man, she did not think that he was a genome scholar but she still proceeded to look at the catalogue professionally.
After a while, the clerk turned to Yeshua. "There are only three kinds of wolf species genome crystals available. They are Night Wolf, Forest Wolf and Wind Wolf genome crystals. Which do you want to purchase and how many?"
"Only three?" Yeshua said without thinking. He was expecting that since it was the Trade Association, they would have more selection of genome crystals.
"Wolf species genome crystals are not common in this city. The Association usually trades resources commonly found in the city. If you want to purchase specific materials, the Association can help you but you have to pay an additional fee and wait for some time before you will get your order."
Yeshua then remembered that every area had definite resource points. Specific spirit beasts and gene materials could be found depending on the abundance of resources in an area. It seemed that wolf species was not common in Red Wood Forest.
After hearing what the clerk said, Yeshua remembered information regarding these wolf species he learned from his father.
Night Wolf: Level 1 – Type: Animal – Sub-type: Mammal – Species: Wolf – Affinity: Dark – Attributes: strong speed, average strength, weak defense
Abilities: Dark Claws, Vicious Bite, Elusive Shadow, Shadow Flash
This spirit beast was usually hunting during the night. Its dark claws and vicious bites could tear through steel. It could also use its shadow flash to travel in the shadows to suddenly increase its speed and dodge attacks. With its elusive shadow, it could move silently and become a dangerous hunter in the night.
Forest Wolf: Level 1 – Type: Animal – Sub-type: Mammal – Species: Wolf – Affinity: Earth – Attributes: Strong defense, average strength, weak speed
Abilities: Stone Claws, Vicious Bite, Hardened Fur, Ground Smash
Forest wolves usually worked as a group while hunting. Though they were slower than most wolf species, their strength and defense gave them advantage in a prolong battle. Their brown hardened fur protected their bodies and was not easy to damage. Being encircled by these wolves would force someone to endure a barrage of strong attacks. Their ground smash could crash like a boulder. When these wolves used their ground smash together, it would be like seeing boulders falling from the sky.
Wind Wolf: Level 1 – Type: Animal – Sub-type: Mammal – Species: Wolf – Affinity: Wind – Attributes: high speed, average strength, poor defense
Abilities: Wind Claws, Vicious Bite, Wind Dash, Tornado Blast
With their wind dash, being pursued by these blue wolves was dangerous as their speed was top notch within their level. Their wind claws were not just damaging up close but could also deal damage from a distance. But the strongest attack of the wind wolves was their tornado blast. They could charge the wind within their maws and blast it in a form of tornado. Receiving this attack was like being in a place full of slashing knives.
Before going to the Association, Yeshua already had a conversation with the AI. He learned that once the AI reconstructed a level 1 genome sequence, he could not change it anymore since it would become the main controller of one of the microorganisms in his cells. So he had to decide what kind of genome sequence he wanted.
Though he could have more than one genome sequence, Yeshua did not want to have mediocre Alter Beasts. They would be his weapons in this dangerous world and he planned to have different types of them.
Yeshua chose to have his first Alter Beast as a wolf species. Wolf Alter Beasts were good hunters and had good fighting abilities. For someone who did not have a clan, Yeshua planned to support his cultivation by becoming a hunter. At the same time, the memory of his father when he transformed into a wolf was etched on his mind. The ferociousness of a predator beast gave Yeshua a strong impression.
(Also, there is battle instinct. Since I have to first survive this fight with the gang leader, I have to choose an Alter Beast that will give me a chance to fight back. When a human becomes an Alterer, he also inherits the bestial instinct of the beast. I'm only a normal person before this, so I don't know how to fight. Choosing a predator beast will also help me in this battle.)
What Yeshua thought was true. Alterers inherited the bestial instinct of the beast but because of that they were also affected by its savageness.
Yeshua decided what to buy after all these thoughts passed through his mind. "I'll buy one of each kind. How much it will be?"
The clerk did not care anymore what this young man was going to do and professionally calculated the costs. "The night wolf crystal is 60 gold coins, forest wolf crystal is 50 gold coins and wind wolf crystal is 80 gold coins. The total is 190 gold coins."
Genome crystals had different prices depending in the type and rarity of its genome sequence as well as the demand and supply. Like the wolf species crystals, since they were not common in the Red Wood Forest, their supply was limited that made them more pricy than in other places.
The amount was more than the cheapest genome potion but Yeshua thought that it was alright because what he would get after the AI reconstructed the genome sequence was worth many times more.
Yeshua paid for the genome crystals and the clerk went inside the door behind her to get the crystals. After a while, the clerk went back and gave Yeshua what he purchased.
Yeshua then left the place and rented a room in an inn near the Association since he could not do the evolution in his shack. This was a special room that Alterers used. Alterers' way of cultivation demanded them to have a room that could accommodate their Alter Beast. So, special room like this could be used so they could cultivate without being disturbed. Yeshua could afford it since he still had gold coins.
"This is it, AI. It's your turn to use your magic. You have to give me the most powerful Alter Beast in this world!" Yeshua said to the AI with a voice full of unbridled imagination!

But even after waiting for a while, Yeshua did not hear the reply of the AI. "Um, AI, why are you not replying? Are you broken? Hey?"
[User Yeshua's command is invalid. The AI deemed it unnecessary to reply.]
[Reminder: Please, give a command that a normal sane person with a sound mind will give.]
Yeshua felt like kicking this AI out of his soul and beat it!
(What deemed unnecessary to reply? You're just ignoring me, right?! And what is with that reminder? 'Sane' and 'sound mind' have the same meaning! Saying that, are you emphasizing that I'm crazy?! This AI always acts formal and professional but actually it's quite a ruffian!)
Since he could not pull the AI out of his body and strangle it, Yeshua just ignored it.
Holding the genome crystals, Yeshua willed the AI to scan them.

The "wolf" has 8 eyes and three tails. It is heavily armored with chitin growing all around it. The eyes themselves look more insectoid than mammal. The supposed mouth does not have teeth or a jaw, but rather has mandible and opens up in four ways to show sharp "teeth" inside. A strange, alien sound is heard from the beast. The creature itself is prowling at 10 feet tall and 16 feet in length from "nose" to butt. The tails itself are composed of what looks like chitin covered smaller tails No fur is actually seen on the creature and then it looks at E.L.H.
It pauses, perhaps to think, then it starts to run at E.L.H.
The HUD in E.L.H announces 
"Hostile combatants encountered. 
New objective: Defeat the creature and protect Anna. 
Combat mode engaged.
Combat module unavailable."
Switching to reactionary combat measures."
Almost at once, the mutated wolf is half way to E.L.H.
Instantly E.L.H. pulled out 3 weapons. On the left hand is a large blade, being at least 3 feet wide and 4 feet long. It is thicker and wider than most blades, perhaps made for deflecting and jabbing rather than slicing and slashing. Under that is a cannon barrel of a feet in diameter. The hands themselves are put away into the arm. On the right is a lance, 4 feet in length and 2 feet in width. The HUD announces to E.L.H.
"Impact ammunition unprimed, prepare for CCC"
The wolf pounces on E.L.H. almost knocking it down, but E.L.H. rotates enough as to push it off it is shoulder. The wolf quickly turns and snaps its jaws at E.L.H.'s head, but E.L.H. dodges to the left and jabs an uppercut with the blade into the wolf's upper ribs. The force of impact causes the wolf to stagger slightly backwards, but it gets back into a stance. Now seeing E.L.H. as a dangerous foe, it waits a little before pouncing once again, this time aiming for the arms. Warily snapping its jaws it tries to grab ahold of any of the arms. E.L.H. dodges and weaves, countering the bites with quick slices and bashes with both the side of the blade and the lance. The wolf, taking a chance, lunges deeply. It is sweep aside by E.L.H.'s lance, but only the back end of the wolf and it grabs hold of E.L.H.'s left shoulder. It bites deeply, crushing the metal hull and with its claws, it slashes E.L.H. torso hull, tearing into and ripping the hull. On E.L.H.'s HUD, a message announces
"Impact ammunition primed and ready"
E.L.H's hand cannon fires without delay and at point blank of the wolf as the cannon is directly below it and E.L.H. arcs its arm upwards.
The wolf is sent flying over the left of E.L.H.'s shoulder, but without letting go, it rips away a major part of the left shoulder hull off of E.L.H.
The arm, still attached, is showing several wires and the "muscle" system of the shoulder.
Without delay, E.L.H. opens fire on the wolf. The wolf, though sent flying, lands on its feet and dodges a few of the initial blasts before being pushed back by the sheer volume of impact blasts. Only 10 shots in a clip, E.L.H. automatically reloads a second clip in the moment that the first clip runs out, seemly making it seem as if there was no reload. A blast to the head sends the wolf to the ground in which E.L.H. closes in and slams its blade into its upper shoulder and drives the wolf deeper to the ground with a crash. With it pinned, E.L.H. drives its lance into the wolf's head, piercing the creature's chitin shell and probable brain. The lance then extends to double its length inside the wolf and several holes open up to shoot out 6 impact blasts. The blasts tear apart the wolf's inside and it explodes in 6 directions, making piercing holes exit out of the wolf. The wolf's head and upper body are littered with holes and oozes out guts and probable blood as the color is strangely white. With that the wolf ceases to function.

In the year 2025, a meteor hits Earth, exposing the world to a new sentient, hostile, and invasive alien force. Humanity, losing ground, leaves to outer space in hopes to find a new world to live on. In hopes of returning one day, they leave A.I.s behind with orders to push back the invasion. This is a story of a single A.I. and its story to retake Earth.

The pull she felt toward this stranger made her breathless. Elena couldn't stop staring at the dark God over there.

His facial features were perfectly balanced and masculine, with a strong square jaw, beautiful nose slightly crocked on one side, like a fighter's, and a funny mess of raven hairs that were kissing his face in a way that Elena wanted to touch them. And his eyes... their colour was unbelievable. It seemed that a piece of sky was trapped into his eyes.

When Rex dropped her, she barely realised it and had to grab the door handler not to splash on the floor.

"Mate mate mateee!" Her wolf was howling like crazy, making her heartbeat furious. "Go to mate! Go to mate!"

Elena was feeling so overwhelmed.

She wanted to run to him but her feet and all joints were like melted. The word mate made sense now. And so the stories she had heard all her life: on how mates make you feel and turn your world upside around, on how her parents couldn't separate each other for more than a couple of hours, on how you feel complete.

She couldn't stop absorbing his presence, his facial and physical details. My god, he was so tall and huge, his arms looked like tree's trunks and shoulders so board, like the wardrobe back in her room.

He made Rex look like a sardine, and Rex had always been one of the biggest guys she had ever seen. Elena wondered, in her dreamy state, who he could be. And why was he talking to Black Devil Gamma? And why didn't he detect her?

When a puff of air ruffled her hair and her very-warmed-face, she knew why. The vents of the gym threw air flows at her direction, so he probably didn't recognise her smell… yet.

As soon as she thought that, he stopped talking. And it was quite funny to watch: his mouth still parted because he was about to say something, his eyes first dilated and then furrowed, while his huge posture stiffen. His head turned, searching around, distracted by something…

From the corner of her eyes, Elena noticed Gamma Rolando staring at him with a puzzled and funny look… why was he talking to her mate anyway? Was he another teacher with whom Elena didn't have classes? But he seemed too young to be a professor… so who was he?!

When her gorgeous mate scanned the crowded room, sniffing the air a couple of times, his eyes flashed a dark shade of blue. Elena gnawed on the inside of her lip. Million of butterflies were exploding inside her, while Titilas was jumping inside her head chanting the word mate. He must have caught her smell anyway, his sense of smell was impressive.

And then, after one more second of searching, he looked at her direction and saw her.

Their eyes locked instantly.

They weren't very near, Elena was at the secondary door of the hall, just about to leave, opposite to where he was standing, at the main entrance.

But the distance didn't matter, and the entire world vanished… there were only the two of them, staring at each other in their private, magical bubble.

The mix of reactions that passed through his face was like a carousel of emotions: confusion, recognition, surprise and then pure shock. His mouth parted and his eyes almost black, he couldn't believe his mate was there staring at him, staring at Black Alpha…

Black Alpha ~ 10 minutes earlier

When Mirko stretched his big arms over his head and then folded his hands behind his head, lazily looking at Redwood High, Craken started pacing with agitation. That was a first, since his wolf was never scared about anything.

"Hate being a student, Crak? Don't worry we won't be attending any class this week, but you knew that.' Mirko scoffed at his wolf.

'There's someone in the school, I can sense it.' Craken growled, growing uneasy.

'Well yes many students from Full Moon are on our territory' Mirko said bored, while entering the school.

Several students petrified on the spot, seeing their Alpha there, other bowed their heads, while the word Alpha was murmured with a holy tone.

'It's not that, egg head!' Craken blurted with his short temper already on fire.

'I already sniffed those younglings way before you did.'

Mirko chuckled internally, maintaining his stoic face in front of the student population. He couldn't start laughing like a nutty wolf while they were saluting him.

'Then what is it? I don't feel anything different, furry head!' Mirko retorted, grinning.

"A-Alpha."

One of the teachers greeted him, adjusting her thick glasses with her unsteady hand. "W-welcome b-b-b-ack." She stuttered, avoiding his stare and pointedly looking at her shoes.

Mirko sighed at the trembling leaf in front of him. "Thanks Maria."

'Argh!' Craken sneered. 'Everyone is scared of me' He continued with a proud voice.

'You mean US.' Mirko replied, rolling his eyes at his moody wolf, barely realising that his action made two little students stumbled on each other and fell in a mess of arms and legs.

"S-sorry A-A-Alph-" One of them stammered, with a mortified face. With another sigh, Mirko offered his hand to the tiny boy who probably thought he rolled his eyes at him.

'You made them fall on the floooor!' Craken was laughing so much, he sounded like a boat motor that wasn't switching on.

'The giant has arrived!! Run away little students!' Craken continued to mock him. Mirko helped the boy, with a grimace that was supposed to resemble a smile.

He was a bit bored by his pack members fearing him. Aware that his size was bigger than the average Alpha man and his wolf resembled more a prehistoric beast than an average mammal, he didn't mistreat any of them though.

When he reached the gym, Rolando and several senior students greeted him. Most of them were from his pack but he knew Full Moon's and rogues were still around.

He wanted to check his Beta's mate, conscious that Crucifero had forbidden both Rolando and him to talk to his mate.

Mirko only accepted because he had to meet Alpha Giacomo to discuss how to proceed, although obvious: this famous Marco was going to move in with them. At Black Devil's.

Also, there was the issue of Lord Skull pack and its mad Alpha Ciro.

Full Moon had reported an ambush from Ciro's infiltrators but Alpha Giacomo managed it well. Many considered him a good leader, but Mirko thought he had too many soft spots. Not to mention his easy training practises.

"Black Alpha." Rolando saluted him with a nod. Mirko smiled at his friend who didn't need to address him as Alpha, but he was doing it no matter what.

"Cunning Fox." He replied, knowing that his Gamma hated that name. "How are we doing here?" He continued, eyeing the large group of Black Devil students standing there, whispering among each other.

"The training went well, Crucifero has got a feisty mate." Rolando chuckled lowly. "He defeated Brad in less then 10 minutes." He declared, making Mirko lift his eyebrows.

"Impressive. Think this so-called mate could be a good beta mate then." Mirko murmured, still a little shocked that his ferocious Beta had a breathing mate.

"If Cruci doesn't make him run away." Rolando chuckled, quickly covering his mouth ~ he didn't want his students to see his tenderness, only reserved to a tiny circle of people.

"Do you want to bet?" Mirko grinned.

"Deal. I bet he won't last two months. If that's the case, then you must dress my t-shirt I love hunicorns for a whole week." Rolando proposed with cunning eyes. "You know the one my vindictive mate made me wear when I forgot our anniversary?"

The amused face of Rolando was contagious, and Mirko laughed.

"Deal. But if you loose, then you will…"

When Mirko was about to add one more detail, his wolf, strangely silent until then, started to howl and tried to take control.

'Craken! What the f++k!' Mirko's angry voice yelled at him, pushing him back and stopping the shift. There was no need for people to faint and scream at the sigh of a crazy Craken.

His interior fight made him receive a confused stare from Rolando.

But then, a faded scent of honey and vanilla made his blood boil and a growl rose from his throat. Mirko sniffed the air a couple of times to catch that peculiar hint, among several other smells, some boring and some disgusting.

Craken was uncontrollable. 'Follow the smell! Follow it!!!!! NOW!' He was shouting.

With all his overdeveloped senses in alert, Mirko didn't need to be told twice. A sudden tickling sensation made all his hairs raise: someone was staring at him.

So, he turned toward that particular glare, and that was the moment he saw her.

The most beautiful thing he had ever seen in all his years of life. She was there, standing. One little hand was grabbing the side of the door like she needed support. Her angelic hair flew down in magical golden waves over her little perfect figure.

A pair of mesmerising green eyes were piercing into his soul.

'Mate! She is our mate!!' Craken roared in excitement and happiness, trying again to control him.

'Go and mark mate!' He ordered, getting more agitated.

But Mirko wasn't listening.

He couldn't stop looking this creature from the fairy world who cast a sort of magical spell on him.

She was so perfect, so stunning. Mirko blinked few times, unsure if he was day dreaming.

Who was she? Why did he never see her before? Was she a rouge? Then, like a bucket of water, a realisation hit him.

He had a mate!

Real, alive and heart-stirring.

"Mine!" He growled.

Mirko.
Just the name is enough to frighten.
Young in age but with burning eyes and stormy history, with a wolf that looks more like a prehistoric creature than a simple alpha wolf. 
He is the Alpha of Black Devil. It is said that those wolves had been cursed to born without a mate, their destiny to become feral, slowly devoured by their inner beasts.

"Level 5 mob, exactly what I was looking for."
Mylo held a long, thin, slightly curved blade made of what seems to be steel like material that is held by a grip wrapped in extravagant, deep red cloth. The razor sharp point makes this weapon ideal for piercing its opponent. The rapier has a wide, curled golden cross guard, offering protection to the hand and lower forearm for the leading hand and thus his life. The cross-guard has an elaborate twisted shape appearing as if the owner was holding a rose and with a well-groomed diamond in the middle of the golden rose, fine details which prove how carefully this weapon was crafted. A clear sign this weapon belongs to a royalty.
The gray wolf couldn't hold his apparent hunger for his flesh and rush towards him.Mylo waited until his enemy was within the range of his rapier and easily dodged the attack by stepping outside of his straight forward assault; Slashing the wolf's side.
"You have dealt 146 damage."
Close to half the wolf's damage has been dealt, since the wolf was an offensive type mod, his defensive capacity was lacking.  That amount of damage was impossible for a level 1 beginner in particular at the first day of the game release. It would be understandable if it was maybe 3 months into the game, since one could get items; like well a well-crafted level 1 weapon's or a potion that increases damage. That's only if the level 1 beginner had connection with a high level use, he could rely on them to provide him with such items.
After a few minutes passed, mylo's understanding of the wolf attacking pattern allowed him to completely dominate the battle and eventually slaying his enemy.

In Second's Chronicle's when a player solo kill a mob that is higher level than his own level. He will gain an experience multiplier depending on its level difference. Mylo's managed to kill a mob that is 4 levels higher than his own, earning him a 1.4 multiplier. The experience multiplier is only applicable to solo kills not party kills. Of course if the players manage to kill an Elite or a Boss mob whose level is higher than his own, his multiplier would be higher than killing a normal mob.
"This was easier than expected, should I go to higher zones?...I shouldn't be too cocky. If I died il would have to wait 12 hours before I could log back in."
Dying in Second Chronicle's had a harsh penalty implemented, if a player died they would have 30% of their experience removed , they couldn't log back in for 12 hours and a random piece of equipment would drop upon death. It might not sound that bad, but in higher levels the experience penalty would decide one's ranking position. A player could easily lower 100s of ranks by only dying once, his competitor would have a 12-hour advantage over him, while he or she also had to spend hours regaining the experience lost. As for player killers (PKers) they would lose 60% of their experience , a 24-hour penalty and two pieces of equipment dropped upon death.
"Let's hunt more wolf for now and discover more of the area."

A few hours passed since his first battle, during that time mylo managed to hunt 6 more wolf earning him 168 experience points, half of it given to his weapon's experience gauge; 84 for himself and another 84 for his ego sword.  As well as 104 copper coins and 3 additional wolf hide.
"2 more experience points left for level 2. Same for my ego sword."
As Mylo was wondering the forest in order to a counter another mob. But a sudden message appeared before him; notifying him of something. As he read the message, an expression of surprise and joy started to show itself in his face.
"Undiscovered dungeon has been located 20 metres south from your location."
"…"
"Hahaha, what an amazing skill!"
Mylo started to head south toward the undiscovered dungeon. Continually hearing the notification ringing in his ears.
"Undiscovered dungeon has been located 18 metres south from your location."
"Undiscovered dungeon has been located 16 metres south from your location."

"…12 metres…"
"… 8 metres…"
"…2 metres…"
What welcome mylo was a large Rock in front of him was a hefty bush, mylo's pushed his way through the bush cutting its branches with his rapier. Beyond the bush lies a narrow, grimy room. It's covered in dirt, dead insects and small bones. Mylo notices on his left an intact torch beside the remains of what seems to be human bones. He picks up two stones hitting them against each other to create sparks in other to light the torch. Mylo's tread onwards, deeper into the dungeon's. After a few metres inside, a familiar sound could be heard.
"You are the first to discover the dungeon: Wolf's Den."
"Experience and loot earned inside the dungeon will double for 24 hours."
"…"
"Isn't there a saying that when faced with misfortune, only fortune awaits. Wouldn't I get the reverse of that?"
Mylo's cautiously proceed onwards, deeper into the dungeon's depths. As he was advancing mylo only had one though.
"Double loot… plus dungeon boss…equals…LOOT EXPLOSION!"
"HAHAHAH!"

Mylo was currently lying in the hospital bed, counting his remaining time before his life finally fades away .regretting only one thing in life. Not being able to play a VR game. Wishing he could create the craziest build and dominate the world of ‘Second Chronicle’s ‘. Unfortunately for him technology couldn’t advance fast enough and at the age of 93 only one day away from the release of the first VR RPG game. He dies of heart failure.

However, in that instant, all the hairs on the weasel’s body stood up, and its long tail became puffy, its body curling up into a ball! 
Its eyes revealed unparalleled aghast as it tucked its tail between its legs and ran!
This was because he saw that the initially dazed individual’s mouth had revealed a trace of mocking, and his eyes had regained their clarity.
Where was the confusion that his hallucinating attack should have achieved?
How was this possible?
The weasel thought that this was simply too absurd!
The many stronger lifeforms in this forest had been tamed by its claws. 
There was even an powerful lifeform in the Invigorated Meridian Realm which had been confused by his hallucinating attack and was eventually killed by the weasel, easily. 
How could it be that this human... was unaffected?
How could he had recovered so quickly?
By the looks of it, he wasn’t affected by it at all!
A wave of cold air radiated from the weasel’s body. 
It was furious!
It wanted to run!
This all happened in an instant. 
Chu Yu raised his palm and sent the weasel flying with a slap.
Pa!
This sound was accompanied by the sound of the weasel’s bones breaking as well as its screams.
That scream was extremely mournful and it momentarily shattered the silence of the forest.
Pung!
The weasel was knocked into a tall ancient tree, and it knocked a hole in the trunk. Without losing momentum, it flew for another few hundred meters.
Only then did it land on the ground with a thud and lose consciousness.
Chu Yu’s silhouette shot over to the landing point like an arrow. He picked up the weasel and disappeared.
Ten minutes later, Chu Yu appeared in the depths of an enormous valley.
High cliffs surrounded the valley, the lowest point was over 2000 meters high!
The valley had dense vegetation that completely covered the entire area.
Looking up, there seemed to be no trace of civilisation, other than birds, there was virtually no other life form.
Chu Yu had roamed down from the cliffs like a mountain tiger.
He had threw the weasel aside and then, without hesitation, used a devil sect technique to forcefully retrieve a wisp of the weasel’s soul. 
Even Fan Jian, the Invigorated Meridian Stage Six expert, could not escape his fate being controlled by others, not to mention this weasel which was only Acupoint Charging Stage Nine. 
The weasel’s ability to withstand a beating was extremely strong and it was initially faking its death.
After being beaten so viciously by Chu Yu, all it suffered were some broken bones.
He had initially wanted to fool Chu Yu by faking its own death, it did not expect that Chu Yu did not give it any chance, forcefully retrieving its soul, signing a contract with it!
When the weasel found out about it, it nearly teared.
This was simply too oppressive, too much!

Aren’t these kind of things supposed to be voluntary?
Didn’t they say that if humans wanted spiritual animals as guards, they had to promise various benefits?
What kind of damned situation was this?
Previously, the weasel had treated other lifeforms this way, but it had never expected that such a fate would befall it.
In the moment that its soul was forcefully taken from it, the weasel knew that it had no way of resisting it.
In the moment that the contract was signed, it opened its eyes and looked at Chu Yu, "Cure my illness!"
"..." Chu Yu looked exasperatingly at the weasel, "You’re talking to me?"
"Of course, I’ve been set up by you, and I am now your wolf, do you want to see me die?" The weasel dropped its air of arrogance. Its green eyes looked evilly at Chu Yu. 
"My wolf? You’re clearly a yellow skin." Chu Yu rolled his eyes, "Die? You’re clearly faking death, with your cultivation level, what is a few broken bones? Small matter."
"That’s not right, what yellow skin? I am a carnivorous mammal from the Carniformia suborder, the genus Mustela of the family Mustelidae. I am a powerful, spiritual, and incredibly smart superior lifeform.
The weasel looked at Chu Yu angrily, "The wolf is also carnivorous mammal from the Carniformia suborder, from the Canidae family, we are relatives! Do you understand relatives? I am also known as the yellow wolf! So, is there a problem with me calling myself a wold?"
"No, no issue at all?"
"Then isn’t it settled? Help me cure my illness!"
Chu Yu thought to himself, F*ck... what is wrong with this weasel?
Why is it that he has taken to the role faster than his master?
What are you still standing there for? Hurry up! Cure me, after you’re done, give me some of your superior magical items, I would settle for that huge treasure blade, give that to me!" The weasel said unabashedly, its two claws gesturing wildly.
Its humanlike nature caused Chu Yu to be speechless

Chu Yu was exasperated as he quietly picked up the ancient bronze dagger and threw it to the weasel.
The weasel caught the ancient bronze dagger with content, as it gestured with it whilst holding it with its claws
The ancient bronze dagger shot out a long blade aura, but its beauty was lost.
"Hahaha, superior magical weapon! I never imagined that the day would come where I would own such a treasure!"
Looking at the excited weasel, Chu Yu felt a little guilty as he thought to himself, how sad is this fella? Even a Xiantian realm magical equipment in its eyes is an incredible weapon?
However, on second thought, he realized that if he had seen such a Xiantian magical equipment a month ago, he probably would not be better off than the weasel.
After which, Chu Yu rejoined the weasel’s bones, after a moment of thought, he threw him a few medicinal pills.
To be exact, it was a few medicinal tablets.
Chu Yu no longer appreciated these tablets.
He did not expect that such a gesture would cause the weasel to choke up. It looked at Chu Yu with wide eyes, "Master, are you really giving these good stuff to me?"
"As long as you remain obedient and do the work I give you well, there’ll be better things to come." Chu Yu looked at the weasel, "Have you ever thought that one day you could become human? Walk the world confidently?"
"Morph into a human? Walk the world confidently?" The weasel’s eyes sparkled and it said bitterly, "lifeforms like us had been termed as beasts for 30 years, now we are known as demons. Even though we get to roam the forests and there is a sense of pride in our hearts, in fact, all of us hope that one day we can morph into a human and cultivate like a human."
"Rest assured, you will have a chance." Chu Yu glanced at it and said faintly.
Chu Yu initially had no intention to adopt this fella, but since it managed to withstand two of his blows, he took it as a sign of fate... the two attacks of his... would have seriously injured Fan Jian at his peak, if it didn’t kill him first.

He had to admit that this weasel was like an exotic flower amongst all the animals and beasts!
The fact that it accepted its fate so quickly gave Chu Yu and unsettling feeling.
Shouldn’t it resist and whine?
Even if it didn’t whine, shouldn’t it be at least a little depressed?
Even if it wasn’t depressed, the least it could be was a little unwilling right?
Where was the arrogance from just now? The morals?
Just now, its morals was all over the place, completely unrestrained. 
Chu Yu shook his head bitterly before walking towards the deepest parts of the valley.
When he reached the cliffs, he took out another ancient bronze dagger from his space ring and... sliced towards the cliff!

The solid rock crumbled like Tofu under the blade. 
It was smashed opened by a crushing force, and Chu Yu quickly digged out a huge hole.
The weasel looked from the back, stunned. It looked at the ancient bronze blade in Chu Yu’s hand, and then looked back at the one in its claws.
It suddenly felt a little sad, almost as if... this treasured blade... wasn’t particularly rare and precious.
Master was actually using it to cut rocks... and dig caves?
However, this kind of emotions only lasted for a little while before the weasel immediately returned to normal.
This was because if such powerful, superior magical items were insignificant to its master, that only meant one thing - master had better items! As long as it continued by his side and did its work diligently, then, would master mistreat it?
This exotic flower let its thoughts run wild. It was already thinking of morphing into a human, roaming the villages and having various dalliances with the ladies of influential families...
Just when it opened its mouth and begin to salivate, it suddenly woke up from its daydream and realized that Chu Yu had already crawled into the stone cave and used a huge rock to block the entrance. 
The weasel shook its head as it moved out with the ancient bronze blade in its claws.
It was humming as it walked, "The King has sent me to patrol..."
"..." Chu Yu, who was inside the stone cave couldn’t believe his ears.
He was beginning to have doubts if adopting such a strange shield was the right choice.
After which, Chu Yu calmed down and sat in the middle of the stone cave. He began to harness the immense energy in his body and began to charge the 20 true meridians and the remaining 65 acupoints.
He had decided that he would use the Superclass after breaking through the 20 true meridians in order to break through the 1000+ acupoints in his body. 
He did not know how many people in the ancient schools were like him, aiming for the Great Circle of Acupoint Charging.
Even if there were, Chu Yu wasn’t bothered.
Of course, if there were none, all the better!
There was no day or night in the mountains. 
Since Chu Yu began his isolation, he had lost any concept of time.
Each of his acupoints were being gushed open under the immense power.
The waves of power in his body were also getting stronger!
His entire blood stream was also getting more powerful!
