"It's really no use." Leaned up against a rock Kuro was out almost entirely breath. He had been using all types of tools from hammer's to drill's trying to break that weird barrier. Closing his eyes Kuro took this chance to think about his situation. "I guess I never really came to terms with since I arrived here." Looking up slightly Kuro began to talk to himself.

"There isn't a doubt that the wall isn't some kind of special effect. And the book really can create things out thin air." Deep down Kuro wanted to believe that up to this point maybe he was dreaming or it was some kind of a joke but that hope was shattered when he saw the large plateau stretching for miles.

'No one in their right mind would buy out something like that to create a prank.' Waking up to a world of pure darkness and almost dying a second time. And then suddenly he was here trying to break some magical barrier in the middle of god knows where. 'Even now I have a slight hope that breaking through this wall would just send me home. But I guess I'm just in a state of denial.'

If there really was no way to get back to his original world then he would be leaving so much behind. 'Even if it was shitty If I'm really stuck here then all 24 years of my life are gone.' Contemplating like this Kuro sat where he was for the next twenty minutes allowing his thoughts to roam free. It was only after Kuro realized he had moping around for so long did he finally get himself together

Shaking his head and slapping his hands together Kuro tried pumping himself up. "Alright come on Kuro you work 8-hour shifts you can deal with a glorified electric fence." Looking towards the barrier once more Kuro tried to change his thought process. "If I just knew more about it I could do something." Going by that electric fence analogy Kuro could short it out if he had water but he knew nothing about it.

It was at that moment that The Book Of Creation activated once more. In a burst of purple fire, one of the pages in the book seemed to have been burned into existence. Floating off of the ground it made its way in front of Kuro before opening its cover as if possessed. Though Kuro knew the book could do things on its own he had never seen it do this before. Sitting up further he observed the book closely as its pages turned one by one Kuro saw all the pages getting flipped by were blank.

It was only after the flipping began to slow that Kuro caught glimpses of writing. Landing on the final flip Kuro's eyes widened as he looked up at the barrier in the distance. Drawn onto one page was a picture of the barrier and on the opposite page was text. "But how..." Whenever Kuro flipped through the book he could have sworn every page was blank.

Grabbing the book out of the air Kuro's eyes skimmed over the entire page twice. After reading the same part over and over Kuro let his head fall into the book before laughing. "So that's why nothing I tried worked... How the hell was I supposed to know!" Despite how the book put it into words Kuro saw this text in a different light. 'So I pretty much wasted my time trying to break it open with that hammer.'


He could clearly memorize how long he had hammered away at that barrier to the point his arms nearly fell off. 'Though I guess I'm lucky I didn't try using a gun. If it had ricocheted back at me then I would be dead.' The very idea made Kuro appreciate the fact he thought about his situation instead of avoiding it. "But even with this information why is so much of it scratched out."

From the name, all the way to the creator tons of stuff was scratched out of the book. Memorizing everything on the page Kuro's eyes landed on another patch of text. 'Prevent all entry/exit to nonhuman entities.' When he touched the barrier before he was immediately repelled a lot harder and further than when he tried indirectly with a drill or hammer. "But that would have to mean I'm not human..."


Looking at his right hand the memory of the bones piled up in the hallways within the castle returned. When he saw them he wanted to gag even though there was no smell it was the very thought. But even when wanted to throw up he couldn't it. It felt as if something deep inside of his body was suppressing it.


And before he realized it he had come to terms with the skeletons in the castle. The fact hundreds of people had died here and after only a few seconds he was emotionally fine. "I guess I should have known something wasn't right. But if I'm not human than what am I-" Kuro's words and thoughts were interrupted a large pulse of light refracted across the barrier similar to when he touched it.

"What the hell was that."


Over an hour ago inside of the fortress lying outside of the barrier, both Fenal and Merald had begun making their way through the twisting corridors of the fortress. Passing dozens of rooms and people it was clear were in a rush. Turning down a long hallway the two of them saw a large wooden door and standing on both sides of a wooden door two female guards.


Dawning pure white chest plates and silver chain mail underneath they looked more like paladins than anything. On the center of each chest plate was a golden symbol of an open eye strikingly similar to the one on Lena and the others robes except for one key difference. Instead of a crystal surrounding the open eye, there were instead two swords crossed over the eye.


"Halt! This is the barracks of the Barrier Engagement Squad non-authorized personnel are not allowed inside." Placing her hand over her sword's handle in a threatening manner Fenal and Merald came to a stop. "We are part of Influence Containment we have to report to the Engagement Squad immediately."


Hearing that the female guard noticed the marks on their robes and immediately withdrew her hand before nodding her head. "I apologize please go right in." Unlocking the double wooden doors Fenal and Merald walked into the personal barracks of the Barrier Engagement Squad before the guards outside closed the doors behind them.


After the doors, were closed the other female guard who was still new to her job whispered to her senior. "Who were they I have never seen them before?" Hearing her junior the senior guard explained it to her. "They usually take off the robes when they're not managing the Containment. You heard about the incident in Reinhold right?"

The young female guard thought for a moment before nodding. "Ya, I heard there was an incident but no specifics." The senior guard sighed as she informed her junior. "It was more than just some incident. The people who are supposed to monitor the barrier for leaks of Demonic Influence are like the people you just saw. The Influence that comes off of the corpses in these barrier's is so deadly it can kill anyone who isn't Rank 8-A or greater just from indirect contact."


Hearing that the junior looked both surprised and confused. "Does that mean there was a leak at Reinhold?" The female senior nodded as she finished explaining. "Ya, one of the Influence Containment members made a mistake when checking the barrier status and some Demonic Influence leaked out into the open. 

With no barrier in its way it traveled to Reinhold and killed over 60,000 Citizens before being contained. By the time they managed to seal the leak, it was too late. Apparently, the member who was supposed to be checking the barrier is being put on trial with the punishment being execution."


Listening to the death toll the younger female guard feel a shiver travel up her spine. She had seen the barrier multiple times from behind the wall and knew this job was dangerous but hearing what happens when one person makes a mistake? It was absolutely terrifying. Seeing that the senior guard laughed comforting her.


"Well don't worry that's what the Barrier Enforcement squads are for. They are the only people in each Fortress other than the Guardian Overseer that is above Rank-8. If there is something trying to break the barrier or a leak their job is to eliminate it and fix the barrier before anything bad happens." Listening to the whole thing the junior felt a lot more at ease.


"But still it's pretty scary, right? The fact that there here must mean something went wrong with the barrier." With that the two of them couldn't help but look towards the wooden door they were guarding.

Light and Darkness, Good and Evil, no matter what form these opposing forces take, there is one truth. May it be an era full of peace or full of strife and war. These two forces will remain. 

However, in Iretus, these two forces instead take a form visible to the naked eye. The Gods who bring prosperity and peace and the Demons who bring nothing but destruction.

Leading these forces of evil is the Demon King, a being who is outside of the God's power. Someone who shouldn't exist but still does and defies every law set by the world's creators. 

This is a story about how the Iretus changed for better or for worse. And how the final Demon King rose to power.

So I would like to address the state of the book now and going forwards, just so everything is in the clear and people know what to expect going forwards. 

Currently I'm only writing this book as something to do when I have a few minutes to myself before or after work and as such I'm writing it for me rather than you the reader. I consider this my story and will not be changing anything I decide to add to it, no matter the pressure put on me by the reader.  For example I could kill your favourite character and they would stay dead (Unless the plot originally had them survive, e.g hidden power), it would suck but like I said, it is my narrative. 

There will be polls  and a auxiliary chapter so you can make your own characters and that will allow you guys to influence the story however for the time being that sort of thing will be the only the reader can influence it. 

Another thing I'm going to address now is the release rate for the book, as previously stated this book is something for me to do after work and I do not really expect it to get big enough to provide me with any money (E.g Patr eon.) so releases will stay scattered while I work to get enough money to live on. 

Finally I would like to discuss criticisms or improvements you would like to see in the book, I will be adding an Auxiliary chapter where you guys can comment what you would like to see worked on or more of added in the future. I know there isn't a lot of chapters out to judge right now however it is easy to get this stuff set up before the book gets any bigger. I ask that only constructive criticism be placed in the chapter as being a dick about things doesn't really help, all it does is waste both of our time. 

Ok so this is statement or whatever you would like to call it is done, I wanted to let  this out so people who do not like the stuff mentioned above can abandon ship before more chapters are released.

Chapter 5: The Path of Knowledge: Part 1

The Nord couple traveled along the land, killing a few creatures that were new to them, collecting a few alchemy ingreidents along the way, before they finally reached a warmer area of the island where giant mushrooms grew.

"The fuck's with the fungi?" Gajeel questioned while poking at one with his sword.

"It's the mushroom towers!" Levy said in disbelief "They normally grow in Morrowind, but I guess since the Red Mountian erupted, they took a few samples to grow here and continue the species. I've never expected to see it for myself in my entire life!" Gajeel then put his arm around his wife and pulled her closer in a loving manner.

"Glad I was able to get you to see them." he tilted her chin up and captured her lips into his. When he parted his lips from her's, he took her hand and they began to travel more towards the glorious mushroom towers.

"Are you sure you should be doing this Max?" a female dark elf asked a male one. Gajeel and Levy walked in on this scene and watched two Dunmer having a conversation, one was a male holding a book, wearing robes and looked concentrated on a spell from that book; Levy recognized him as the dark elf with Jose when they met him yesterday. Max flipped through the paged in the book before trying to perform the spell that was inside the book. He moved in a fluid motion and when he casted he spell, nothing happened.

"Ugh!" Max groaned "Why won't this Ash Guardian appear?!"

"Maybe you shouldn't be doing this without Jose's help." said the female Dunmer.

"No Laki, he's always too busy with his research so it's best I do it on my own... besides, don't you have to help out with repairing the damage done to the tower?"

"Master Jose had tasked Ooba Babasaama with caring for the tower. Can't you just perform this spell inside the tower?"

"The lab is too small... besides, Master Jose is aware of what I'm doing... Now if only I could read Master Jose's hand writing! Heatscent? Hearthstall?" seeing she wasn't going to get through with him, Laki began to walk away but noticed the two Nords who were watching this scene.

"We don't get many visitors." Laki smiled "Is there something you need?"

"We need to speak with Jose," Levy vouched "is he home?"

"He should be in his tower working in the lab right now as we speak; why are you here if you don't mind me asking?"

"Got something that needs to be shown." Gajeel explained. Laki nodded at Gajeel's words.

"I see, you'll find the lab in the main tower which is right behind me to your left. Once you enter, be wary. There is an enchanted field that allows whoever enters magically float up into the tower." thanking the kind Dark elf, Gajeel and Levy soon made their way to the tower.

They found the enchanted entryway the moment they entered the room. Levy stepped forward and suddenly felt a burst of magical air come from the ground and levitated into the air, landing on a small deck nearby. Gajeel repeated what Levy did and soon landed right next to his wife... although not as gracefully. Jose was focused on piles of research paper on his table. Studying each note before grabbing his ink and quill planning to write more, when he realized he couldn't really see what he was writing, he moved his hand and the spell Mage's Light activated, giving him more light to see what he was doing. The Nord couple made their way over to the Dunmer who looked up at them in surprise.

"I remember you two." Jose suddenly said "You found what you were looking for I assume?"

"I guess you can say that..." Levy high signed.

"We need to more about this Black Book or whatever the fuck it's called." Gajeel blurted out. He pulled the book out of his bag and then dropped it in front of the Wizard. The Dark Elf leered at Gajeel's demands and a spark seemed to have triggered in his eyes.

"You refer to the tomes of esoteric knowledge that old Hermaeus Mora has scattered throughout the world?" Jose examined "What could you know of them?" Levy's mouth dried and she suddenly began to feel faint the moment she heard Jose say that name. Hermaeus Mora? The Hermaeus Mora?! She didn't expect it to be this serious! Just as these thoughts came to mind, Levy began to realize where she felt that aura from earlier before. She remembered on her first journey with Gajeel, they went to visit a crazed mage who secluded himself from society in order to find information on an Elder Scroll that was needed to defeat Acnologia. There was a Dwemer ruin inside his makeshift home and inside that Dwemer ruin, she felt the exact same aura coming from the stones and the Black Book.

For those who aren't aware, Levy and her family were captured by Boethia (another Daedric Prince)'s cultists when she was a little girl. They were going to be sacrificed to Boethia but her parents made sure she escaped the night of the ritual and eventually, her parents met their end. She would never be reunited with her parents in Sovernguarde because of the fact they were sacrificed to Boethia. Since that faithful night, Levy had a hatred for all Daedric Princes.

"T-this book has something to do with Hermaeus Mora?" Levy swallowed "And there's more of them?!"

"You didn't know?" Jose questioned "Hmm, I thought it was obvious. Hermaeus Mora has always tried to seduce mortals into his service with the lure of forbidden knowledge. Where the Black Books actually came from; no one really knows. Some appear to have been written in the past, others might be from the future."

"Hey wait a minute I'm missing something here!" Gajeel howled "Who the fuck is Hermaeus Mora?!"

"The Daedric Prince of Knowledge and Fate." Levy said in an quiet voice "He's been known to lure people who seek knowledge into permanent enslavement."

"If you have to ask that, you'd probably be best leaving his books to wiser heads than yours." Jose commented to Gajeel "Like all Daedric Princes, he's not to be trifled with. But he is subtler than most of his ilk, appropriate for the prince of knowledge and fate. Many scholars and loremasters have been ensnared by the lure of learning the secrets that only Hermaeus Mora possesses; but don't worry, I have no intention of joining them in their endless search through the infinite halls of Apocrypha."

"Apocrypha?" Gajeel questioned.

"Hermaus Mora's realm." Levy continued "An endless world full of knowledge collected by Hermaus Mora himself... Gajeel, do you remember Arlock?" Gajeel thought for a moment before it hit him.

"The crazy old guy who wanted us to help him open that Dwemer ruin? What about him?"

"The aura I felt at the stones and in God Serena's temple was the same aura I felt coming from that Dwemer ruin in Arlock's hideout last year."

Gajeel's eyes widened and he looked at his wife with shock.

"You're shitting me." he expressed.

"I'm not." Levy sighed. Taking a deep breath, Gajeel looked at Jose with a determined face.

"I need to know what God Serena knows before he goes ahead and fucks everything up."

"Now that is a dangerous path indeed." Jose pointed out "Hermaeus Mora gives nothing away for free, you may end up like God Serena, of course. Two power-mad Dragonborns? It could be very interesting." The Nord couple looked at Jose in shock for a moment.

"H-how did you know Gajeel is Dragonborn?" she asked.

"Well, if Gajeel here needs to learn what God Serena knows in order to stop him, it's quite simple to put two and two together. Now from what I can tell, Gajeel has read the book here. Don't try to deny it, you've got the look! I can see it now. Dangerous knowledge is still knowledge and therefore useful. Usually turns out to be the most useful, in my experience. But Gajeel won't be able to get any form of knowledge from it as of now." realizing what he was saying was true, Gajeel and Levy realized they have no other option.

"Then we need to find another." Levy sighed "As much as it displeases me to say that."

"Oh yes." Jose drawled while walking over to another desk with his notes "They're not hard to locate once you know how to look for them. I have one here that I have been using to locate more."

"You got one of those damn books?" Gajeel needled.

"Yes, I haven't been idle while this fascinating madness engulfed Solstheim; but my book isn't what you're looking for. I'm quite sure it is unconnected with this God Serena, but I do know where to find a Black Book that can help you."

"Why the fuck can't we use yours?" Gajeel queried.

"Oh, it clearly is not associated with the same power that has overtaken the island." Jose waved "And I'm not talking about Hermaeus Mora. These Black Books are all his, of course. No, what you're looking for is a specific book. Presumably because God Serena's power derives from it."

"So you know where to find this Black Book?" Levy put the screws to "The one connected with God Serena?"

"Yes I do. I haven't been able to get it, though. But maybe together we can unlock the secrets the Dwemer left behind."

"Woah woah woah wait!" Gajeel interuppted "The Dwemer?! The fuck do they have to do with this?"

"Forbidden knowledge was somewhat a specialty of the dwarves, eh?" Jose explained "You don't think they would just leave it alone, do you? It seems the ancient Dwemer discovered this book and took it to study. I have found their 'reading room' in the ruins of Nchardak. The book is there, but it's sealed in a protective case which I wasn't able to open. But perhaps the three of us together will be able to get the book." he dusted himself off and began to make his way to the exit "To Nchardak, then. Follow me."

"Wait, Jose." Levy stopped "I have a question, why was I able to sense Hermaous Mora's influence on the island but Gajeel wasn't?" Jose thought for a moment before realizing.

"Have you come into contact with Daedras before?"

"Well, my family and I were to be sacrifices to Boethia when I was a girl, but I managed to escape the night my parents were sacrificed. And we did have to put an end to some form of Daedra influence nine months ago."

"It could be you've developed sensory abilities from your experience in the past. Your close brush with a Daedric Prince may have gifted you the ability to sense Daedra influence nearby."

Levy looked in shock at Jose's words about her discovered "gift". She wasn't sure if having this ability was a good or bad thing considering she got sick to the point her stomach contents had to make an evacuation. But if her close brush with death all those years ago gifted her with this ability; then by the Gods she was going to use it in whatever way she could to end Daedra influence.

"Now, if you both will follow me, I can take you to the book that has the powers you're looking for." not arguing with the wizard, Gajeel and Levy put the book back in Gajeel's bag and followed Jose close behind to the Dwenmer Ruins nearby.

Reaching what humanity needed was dream that only the least people come true, is to seeking something unknown. That was a path of researcher.

Many researcher devoted and build his/her name through diploma, bachelor, and PHD. Unfortunately, most of them resulted on boring and unpopular thesis.

However, they wanted the best who will became top researcher who regain a worth for humanity. As long he could become something like that with system, he felt happy.

The path of Researcher was the one of best seller book even the basic was very rare in Terach Republic. Unlike novice researcher, the most talented researcher did not dare to share it, not only price but it was very rare, and novice needed a backing to read a worthy book.

Despite UNESCO was unprofit World organization, UNESCO shared a basic knowledge every country under its watch.

It was very decent treatment for someone who got a nice reputation and backing. However, The lower novice without backing like himself had to be diligent to jump out from their influence and higher institution or he might became their sheep someday.

More than that, the main two profession was shattered into many branch of profession. He thought it was useless to choose right now. He skipped unimportant introduction and took a look at tech development since 1945 until now. The car, weapon, and space shuttle included become mega humanity advanced a year by year. But he thought that the tech was more advanced right now, he wanted to know development likely humanity needed. But, it seem author did not want to reveal anything sensitive on this book.

Reading more and more, he felt this book was not entirely the same he read at school. It was not only given theory was needed to read repeatedly. the explanation insisted him to study how fundamental reseach worked for real. 

His study process began to stuck in fundamental of researcher. He somehow regretted that he never pay attention to read a basic introduction reseach at high school. 

Three hour later, He wiped his sweat flowing from his head, he glanced at family picture on his study table. It remind him of childhood for time being. It helped him to relax his brain.

His head was hurt, very hurt. He lost his focus and turned into his bed. Fortunately, he already made a note about difficult theory based on fundamental research. He knew that the book will be gone tomorrow. So, he could not slack off.

To completely mastered fundamental research, He needed experience until he felt crazy for it. He estimated He need a year for it. But, He did not like that prediction and insisted to mastering it before next year. Beside that, it was his own fault that He underestimated fundamental research since beginning just for relaxing school life.

He was not a child anymore, but behaving like a child. the worriness about his current life and past haunted him. his blood even said you already relax around, you should be hurt someday. 

He shook his head, "It is waste for regret now I must relax my brain."

He mindly threw that useless thought, that was more time for reconsider his own path in future. After long sleep, He began to check a current time on his smart watch. It was already 8 PM.

"This is not good. I must prepare for tomorrow."

His stomach rumbled.

As Lu Zhiyu put his hand on Cetisius' forehead, Cetisius felt the infinite knowledge and power from Lu Zhiyu's palms pouring into him. An inexplicable feeling and joy surged in his heart.
"This is a revelation. God has chosen me to be His spokesperson!" he exclaimed.
The dark sun of the underworld gradually became full, and Cetisius opened his eyes and immediately saw the projection of the sun of the underworld in the sky. It was expanding.
At this time, people in the city of Pusuote discovered that, as the sun set, a strange sun rose slowly from the top of the heavenly palace and a large number of priests poured out into the palace. At this moment, all of the monks looked at the great palace that rose high in the center, many of them exclaiming in wonder.
"What is that?"
"Is that a sun?"
"How can there be a dark sun?"
All of the people of Pusuote walked out on the streets. Nobles, businessmen, hawkers and farmers were all shocked as they looked at the rising dark sun. They didn't understand how this could be happening. But, they knew that the sun was rising from the direction of the palace.
The heat and light of the sun radiated throughout the city of Pusuote, making the deepest parts of everyone's souls feel touched. This was the awareness that was attracted by the sun. Living people couldn't feel the light of the sun of the underworld, but one's awareness and one's soul could feel its warmth!
"That is coming from the direction of the palace!"
"This is a miracle!"
Many people shouted, and at the moment, the noise of the outside world was in sharp contrast with the silence in the great palace. At that moment, Lu Zhiyu saw Cetisius stand up slowly. They looked at each other, and Cetisius began to shed tears.
"Are you leaving?" he asked Lu Zhiyu.
As he was standing outside the palace, the night wind blew Lu Zhiyu's robe, and the stars all over the sky seemed to shine again.
"The God of the sky is in charge of the space world! The God of death is in charge of the underworld, and you are in charge of the earth!" When Lu Zhiyu said this, he saw his body and robe blowing with the wind and gradually turning into smoke. They then disappeared into the air.
Cetisius looked at Lu Zhiyu as he was disappearing. His whole body was shaking with excitement, while his breathing became more and more heavy.
"Please don't leave! Everyone in Batko needs your salvation!" Cetisius begged.
As Lu Zhiyu did not say a word, Cetisius looked in the eyes of Lu Zhiyu and suddenly understood something. A gentle smile spread over his face, holy and innocent, like a newborn child. He then exclaimed, "Gods are in heaven, the dead are in the underworld, and the living are on the earth. I am the one who will save Batko!"
Then, following the disappearance of Lu Zhiyu, all of the bronze statue ghosts within the palace also disappeared, and the heavenly palace began to expand rapidly. It was as if it had broken away from its shackles.
Cetisius managed to get the holy book of the heavenly palace finished and divided into three volumes: the book of the gods, the book of the living, and the book of the deceased. The book of the living was widely publicized as being the rulebook for the guidance of gods to the human world. The priests of the heavenly palace also used it as their guiding book to spread the beliefs of the heavenly palace to all believers.
The holy book depicted the ideal world in Cetisius' mind. People would go to the underworld where the trial would be held. Good people would then start a reincarnation, while the wicked ones would suffer forever. There were also a lot of debates about law and philosophy in this book, which Cetisius used to regulate believers' behaviors.
The book of the deceased recorded the divine incantations of the underworld's and the present world's priests. He decided who would become priests to master the divine incantations.
Only Cetisius knew the contents of the book of the gods. It was said that this book recorded the keys that could access the Divine Kingdom, which was beyond the reach of ordinary people. This was especially important because in the Divine Kingdom people could avoid the trial of good and evil.
Following the completion of the three holy volumes, the beliefs of the heavenly palace were completely rebuilt and the prestige of Cetisius grew even more. Everyone revered his noble qualities and all of the believers in the Pusuote region knew his name and called him a saint on earth.
At this time, the high priest of the heavenly palace was still the Anke Pusuote, which was the first high priest who was selected by Lu Zhiyu. Now, Anke became the one who limited the development of the heavenly palace. He was also an important obstacle for Cetisius in expanding the belief of the heavenly palace.
Anke Pusuote was not only the high priest of the heavenly palace, but he was also the leader of the Pusuote family. As such, he had great influence over the Pusuote region and held a great amount of both religious and bureaucratic power.
The growing prestige of Cetisius and the legends about him that were circulating among the ordinary people made Anke Pusuote become suspicious of his loyal subordinate. In fact, from the moment that Cetisius received the inheritance of the gods, a deep jealousy was ingrained within him.
After all, Anke Pusuote was afraid of losing his position. He liked the feeling that he was high and that everyone was looking up to him.
All of this had made him afraid that Cetisius would take everything away from him. So, he began to suppress Cetisius's power and prohibit his speeches and beliefs from being spread inside the heavenly palace.
However, with the completion of the holy book, the influence of the heavenly palace was gradually increasing. Hence, more people in Pusuote began to accept the beliefs of the heavenly palace, and everyone began to become believers.
They all contributed this to Cetisius' teachings. After all, it was he who, at all costs, personally guided the priests of the heavenly palace to various poor villages and towns and proclaimed his beliefs.
This made Anke Pusuote angry to the extreme. In the eyes of everyone, he was just a high priest who sat by doing nothing. Yet, no one knew the great efforts he had made for the development of the palace. Plus, several wins in diplomatic warfare were to his credit, but all of this was unknown by the masses!
"The development of the palace was my doing! He is lucky to get the inheritance of the gods and help compile the holy book. Why him? And why was my effort not recognized?" Anke was obviously feeling sorry for himself.
The competition between Anke and Cetisius had become even more fierce. Inside the heavenly palace, the people had also split into two groups.
Cetisius remained respectful of Anke, as he was his former master, not to mention that Anke was the first high priest appointed by god and his position was unshakable. As such, Cetisius would never deal with Anke unscrupulously.
However, with the increasing hostility inside the heavenly palace, something Cetisius feared and was unwilling to see was bound to happen...


By accident, Lu Zhiyu found the entrance to a low-dimensional world, and thus began a totally different journey!

Free to control everything in the low-dimensional game, Lu Zhiyu felt like a gamemaster, and even God.


Benjamin came up with a plan overnight.

"Be careful, the King has given us news that the Church has started taking action. They have very likely found out that you were working in the bar, they might have even seen that book of yours."

That night, Mikel found Benjamin and personally told him the news.

Benjamin nodded but did not seem to be surprised.

The Church had many sets eyes around, it would be more of a surprise if they had not noticed. He expected the Church to act on the second or third day, but for them to find out so fast was unexpected.

Thus, he took out a piece of wood covered in weird runes.

He stuck the piece of wood into his mouth, concentrated his energy, and spoke into it, "The Church has started taking action, be careful as you follow the plan."

After saying this, the wood shone dimly and a wave of energy dispersed outward from it.

Benjamin nodded and proceeded to keep the wood.

"That item is really useful." Mikel smiled while saying.

"Not as useful as you think, it still takes an hour for them to receive the news." Benjamin shrugged, "But, before going off I had already reminded them to be careful anyway."

Luckily, they were prepared.

After the Church starts taking action, bars all over the kingdom will be filled with their eyes. At that point, it wouldn’t matter what disguises they used, the Church would still find out about them.

Thus, they could only regretfully give up this method of distribution for now.

Right now, the Church in Carretas has noticed their existence. The games have begun, and a secret game of cat and mouse will be played until one of the two sides is eventually defeated.

The good news was that in this case, Benjamin had taken the incentive.

Their next step was going to take place in the gambling dens.

If the Church had determined the location of their distribution, then they would immediately change to another location. With this, they would be able to run circles around the Church; it would be impossible for the Church to try to predict their movements. And so, they could continuously have the upper hand.

If Benjamin was slow, they would end up being caught. If the Church was slow, they would be dragged around in circles until every single copy of the booklet has been distributed. 

With the King as a spy, Benjamin was confident he could keep up his dance with the Church.

As first night drew to a close, the mages hurried home from all over to give their reports. They have successfully distributed over a thousand copies of Freedom of Promoting Magic – the effects of which have yet to be seen. But judging from people’s reaction, things were going well.

Statistically, only one in ten of the people who received the books had magical talent, but meditating was a technique that everybody could do, and which claimed to make their mental state sharper. Once the books proved themselves, it was likely they would allow their children to start reading it as well.

And so, the circle of influence would grow. From friends to relatives, to siblings and colleagues… And so, Benjamin did not have to print any more issues - the locals would most likely copy it by hand and pass it around themselves.

In the mage’s reports, there was also no sign of the Church’s shadow, despite Benjamin being sure that the Church had begun moving. Thus, Benjamin deduced that the Church was more secretive than they thought, and they had to careful not take them lightly.

After a short afternoon break, the mages grabbed a new batch of issues and marched themselves into gambling dens around the country; Benjamin himself participated. But he could not help but feel like a drug dealer with his huge cape, darting eyes and random questioning of strangers, "Bro, want a book?"

Luckily, the Church seemed to be still focused at the bars, and the mages were free to do as they pleased in the dens.

In reality, Benjamin’s actions were not illegal in Carretas. The Church showing themselves was illegal, and they had no legal reason to make the King ban the booklet.

So, the Church had to be sneaky with their actions.

"Your Majesty, a gang of criminals have been going around Carretas and spreading rumours to influence our people. We have to put a stop to them!"

In the palace, the bishop spoke aloud, waking up the King who had fallen asleep on his throne.

"Bishop Cameron? What happened? Why are you so angry? "The king rubbed his eyes and drowsily asked.

"Your Majesty, see for yourself." The bishop shook his head and handed over a book that was almost torn to pieces.

A guard beside him took the book and handed it to the king. The king opened the book to start reading and showed a confused look.

"What’s this?"

"Those people spreading fear in Ferelden… they’re now in Carretas! These are their evil lies." The bishop slowly said, "Your Majesty, think of the situation in Ferelden now, if you don’t start acting, your throne might be threatened."

Hearing this, the king gave an Oscar-worthy reaction. His eyes widened, and he started spitting out a mess of words in a panic, "This… this isn’t good! Lord Bishop, what should we do?"

The bishop replied smugly, "Issue a ban, call these people liars and state that everything written in the book is evil. If the civilians follow the teachings in the books, tell them they will only end up harming themselves."

The king thought for a while and nodded, "Good idea, I will make those people face the full force of the law!"

The rage in the bishop’s eyes subsided and he nodded graciously, "Your Majesty is wise."

Saying this, he bowed and turned around and left, not really seeming to want to say anything further to the king. After watching the bishop leave, the king’s face did not change. Instead, he signalled secretly at Mikel who was disguised as the guard. Then, he called for his officers and got ready to issue the ban.

Meanwhile, Mikel had taken his leave without anybody noticing. 



Kubei was just an ordinary pencil and button pusher working a day job, hating his boss and making horrible speeches when one day he fell asleep after pushing an all-nighter. When he woke up, he was bound to a chair, facing three creepy robed women and in a body way too young and way too weak to be his own. As he slowly came to, he realized that he was no longer in the same universe as he was before. He had teleported to the Kingdom of Helius, where an all-powerful church rules its lands and wages war against the elusive group known only as Mages. Armed with an incredibly cocky neural interface that just won’t shut up and his own sheer wit, our MC will find himself not just fighting to survive, but maybe even something bigger than himself.

Ezekiel looked forward while returning towards his Hut. Two days passed since he went to look the Thestrals and the wizards/witches started to make their move on him to take his head for the black market, or to try arresting him for the Ministry of Magic and earn their rewards, which with each passing day is increasing although a little, it is enough to attract the attention of the people and also hidden forces around the world.
As he neared to his Hut, he saw the three little kids and a giant too.
Hermione: "Ezekiel!!" exclaimed as she ran towards him, and handed him a package, "this is my gift for you, well it is not very good, I hope you like it, Merry Christmas" she said as her little face blushed.
Ezekiel looked at her, and took the package, while patting her head, "thank you & Merry Christmas" and opened the door, "come in".
Hagrid: "Ezekiel you will not believe it, hahaha" as he started laughing before he could continue.
Harry interrupted him, "sir this is for you" while giving him a small packet.
Ezekiel nodded and thanked, while walking to his table and handing each kid a small box, well packed with their preferences.
Harry took it with happiness, while Ron looked awkward and also took it, and Hermione with her blush took it happily. Ezekiel also handed Hagrid a small book, which contained various different methods to take care of different magical beasts, and also food which may be better for their systems…
Hagrid: "Oh, thank you Ezekiel" said while looking below, to remind them too.
"Thank you Ezekiel/Sir" said the two loudly while Ron just whispered.
Ezekiel opened the packet Hermione handed and was small scarf which seemed to be hand knitted, which probably took a lot of effort and time for the little girl, while Harry's was a small writing set, which also he accepted.
Hagrid suddenly spoke once again, "yeah, Ezekiel as I was saying, you will not believe it" said as he neared, and whispered, "the man we found in the forest was a wanted criminal, and after taking him back I received a lot of gold coins. I will give them to you later".
Ezekiel: "You can keep them", after all he had all the gold he wants. Looking at the kids, he saw them open the gift and enjoy their moments, but his eyes fixed once again on Harry as he held a book hidden under his robe, which seemed to have yet again another Horcrux of Voldemort, but it seems to be when he was still a teenager, or also known as Tom Riddle.
This way the Christmas went on, as the kids started to come more often to his Hut as if their own house, though Ezekiel didn't mind the company of them and his research with the Thestral also came in an end having taken all data needed, and now the only thing left is to look what the book of Voldemort has in role within Hogwarts and the ones who are controlled by it.
Walking inside Hogwarts, Ezekiel looked at the children who stayed for the Christmas holidays and saw one of them tainted by Magic, or easily explained as under control over someone else, which is none other than Voldemort as she has the same spiritual force on her as the book or other Horcrux he has seen till now. Thinking for a second, he started whisper, which only could be heard by her and she suddenly seemed to be shocked and stood up looking around.
Ezekiel used the Parseltongue, which is the language Voldemort specialized in and also the thing needed to activate the Chamber of Secrets and show the passage to the lair down the bathroom with the dead girl's soul. Seeing that the influence was little to nothing, and would not influence her in the mindset he erased it from her spiritual world, which caused her to lose consciousness and fall to the ground in the surprise of everyone.
Thinking for a while, Ezekiel concluded what and how this second match between Dumbledore and Voldemort was to be, and how Harry was going to be used to finish of the mystery of the Chamber of Secrets and also take himself the credit for it, enhancing his looks in the eyes of everyone while also making his legendary feet to another level of interest. 
Going near Harry, Ezekiel took the book from him and erased the soul while handing the book back to him, "give it to Dumbledore, and tell him it is already finished, should he continue with the next step" as he left in the lost Harry, who didn't understood anything just now, but he did as told and went towards Dumbledore as he respects Ezekiel himself.
While Ezekiel on the other hand walked along the road and thought to his use of Magic, which calculating from the feeling which already started from some days and the need for the body to get used to, it would mean in 3 days his body will finally be able to utilize the Magic of this world, which only leaves the Magic Orbs which although seem to be doing well and already in the verge of finishing, have yet to react even a little.
"Ohh, isn't this a coincidence?" said the man in-front while showing his teeth's to him, "you know it was quite rude of you to leave the other day, but as I am a celebrity and man with great patience, I shall pardon your doing" said with flattery and narcissism for himself, "would you like an autograph of mine?".
Ezekiel sighed, and felt tired of this world, if not for the Magic, Beasts, and the little kids who make remember of his first life, he would have left already.
"You shouldn't continue what you are doing", giving a simple warning.
Suddenly Lockhart took his wand and tried casting a spell, which was a memory spell. Though he didn't understand why all the malice towards him, he won't be nice to a person such as him. Without waiting for the cast to finish, he erased the entire mind of Lockhart and left him with only details of his life and walked away.

As the soldier sacrificed his last second, he gained another life where his new journey to the Multiverse just began.
