When it did not work Finn said "okay lets insert more." with this he added 10 white mana but it still did not work. finally Finn added 100 white mana which caused the machine to work. the machine was slowly illustrating a picture on a piece of paper that showed what the seal was sealing.

The Machine burns the image on paper after seeing what it is. example; a seal is hiding a pen, the image burned on the paper is a pen. The Machine is similar to a Camera.
The Stronger the seal, the more mana required.

The Machine had finally finished printing the image on the paper and just as Finn was about to pick it up a loud crash was heard. Finn grabbed the paper and put it in his pocket racing to the object and taking it as well.
As Finn looked out of the window he saw that an entire building was broken and there were people who looked like they were in the Order of Judgement terrorizing and killing people.

"Was your quest good?" Aphasia asked as she tilted her head, "Did you do good?"

"Errand not quest, Aphasia. And it was successful. I have purchased us land south from here in a small town called Rosewood. Tae'hal, fetch me the map."

The moss-coloured boy sighed as he grabbed their bags from the bottom of the dresser. After sorting through some clothes and papers, he finally found the brown paper map at the bottom of their bags. He tossed the map onto the bed opposite Aphasia's and it unrolled itself automatically. It followed a mainly monochromatic scheme; shades of brown illustrating different items on the map and rivers and roads coloured the same shade of black.

Aphasia leaned over to look at the map and her eyes glimmered with curiosity. Tae'hal sat back down on the pouffe but looked on. Lezais picked up a long wooden stick, standing in such a way that they both could see the map with ease.

"I purchased land and a house there under the name Vermont and as far as papers go, Aphasia is my daughter and you are my servant, not slave." Lezais used his stick to guide their attention, "Rosewood is south of here but to get there we need to pass through here."

Aphasia sounded her words, "A-r-a-g-o-r-a-s River? Aragoras River?"

"Very good. The Aragoras River separates the Northern Vatian Empire and the Southern Vatian Empire. There's a large bridge joining the two and on the bridge, there's a temple. Who can guess the name?"

"Aragoras? Do you mean Velka?" Tae'hal clicked his tongue, "Why do I have to visit some pagan temple?" 

"You, young man need to register in that pagan temple. Aragoras is the god of travel and his temple controls travel documents. I'm afraid without them neither of you will get very far in life. You are my servant, not my slave Tae'hal. It would be strange if you didn't have any."

Aphasia's look of curiosity turned to mild frustration when Lezais realised she still couldn't comprehend the language completely. He laughed awkwardly before explaining the situation again in her native tongue, to which she nodded in understanding. 

 "I suppose it would be strange but how did you manage to register me as a servant when I wasn't born here?"

"I have a few tricks of my own up my sleeve." Lezais retorted proudly, "You can use magic can you not? I fear what may happen if someone finds out a slave can use magic."

"Is it not regular?" Aphasia asked as she sat up properly, "Is magic not that regular here?"

Lezais contemplated how to answer that question. He understood that magic was a part of her world and that they saw the world differently. To her, the world was vivid and full of life that went unnoticed. He could only catch glimpses of it when she would let her guard down for moments at a time.  In those moments, her eyes lit up with amazement and her mouth turned to a small smile.

 To Aphasia, the world was bright but where she saw beauty, Lezais could only see murky shades of grey. 

"Lezais?"

He cleared his throat, "It is not. Essence manipulation is common but pure magic is limited to nobility. The people of the Vatian Empire are descendants of Kreilow and his magic aptitude was poor." 

"Is difference? Isn't essence the same as magic?" 

"They're completely separate things," Tae'hal interjected, "Essence is a natural phenomenon created by the interactions of spirits. Magic is what happens when humans create mana by themselves and use it. Only Taskar and his descendants can use magic. Cael's children were paganist and chose not to." 

(Who are Taskar and Cael?) Aphasia asked, (Is he referring to Kreilow and Hernan?)

(Presumably. The people of Blackwater worship the same gods as Vatian, their religious scripts are only slightly altered.) Lezais replied quietly, "I assume the people of Blackwater are descendants of Hernan...er, Cael?"

"I'm not sure actually. I'm the first person in twelve generations who could use magic." Tae'hal's brows furrowed, "There was a prophecy when I was born but I never got the chance to hear it. They don't teach us theology so early." 

"How old are you then?"

"Me? I'm fourteen." 

Lezais scrutinized the boy. At a glance, he looked much older than he was, his dress-coat and trousers added an air of elegance and refinement to him. After much-coaxing Lezais managed to get the boy to attempt combing the unruly mop of green that sat upon his head. Upon closer inspection, however, you would see the boyish gleam in his eyes. Indeed, he was prepubescent, even if his long limbs made someone think otherwise.

"Lezais, staring creepy." Aphasia said with eyes narrowed in disapproval.

His face flushed a bright shade of red.

"I was not staring!"

"Sure you weren't, you creepy old man." Tae'hal said with a mischievous grin, "As I was saying before I was interrupted. I was still part of the Learning so training in Theology and Religion wasn't expected of us."

"What's that?" Aphasia asked.

A fond smile appeared on Tae'hal's face as he looked over to Aphasia.

"We of Blackwater aren't raised like you Vatians. Everyone is separated into different groups according to what stage of life you're in. Like, the first stage is Nursing when you spend your time with your nurse-mother and milk siblings. She feeds you, clothes you and teaches you basic things. When you turn nine you enter Learning. It's when you are expected to learn about the world around you and pick up life skills and language." 

"Were you and your 'milk-siblings' related?" Lezais asked curiously, it was the first time he had learned of Blackwater's traditions.

Tae'hal shook his head, "Children in Blackwater are born from the physical union between two people selected by a Priestess for their fertility and compatibility. Nurse-mothers simply care for those who are born successfully. We have no true parents or siblings."

"Fascinating. What about-"

Lezais' words were interrupted by the ringing of the town bell, signifying that it was time for the workday to end. Without them realising it, a lot of time had passed since Lezais returned home. Outside the window, the sky was now a deep shade of blue and a few stars sparkled when they weren't hidden by clouds.

He smiled and instructed the two children to ready themselves to go downstairs for dinner. Tae'hal was more than eager but Aphasia frowned in protest. 

(I want more stories from Tae'hal! I've never heard anything like this before.)

Lulu jerked as she heard Anna's accusation, slightly tilting her head, Lulu viewed the menacing tiny frame covering on the ground. A slight chuckle escaped her mouth in humor. 

Lulu knelt down beside Anna, and lowering her voice she muttered so that only two of them could hear, "Sl*t, you are smarter than I thought. So what if I framed your mother, everyone knew how intimate they both were."

"Liar!" Anna looked up in Lulu's eyes and screamed to vent her anger out. "My mother was invariably kind to everyone."

Lulu shook her head in amusement, "So what?! She was already dead. But I must agree with you on one thing. If Kathy was alive, Edward would never have married me." When the sentence get out of Lulu's mouth, her face was dark with a cold grimace.

She sighed and continued, "Let the past go rest in peace... Anna! I offer you an excellent opportunity for your survival. If you cooperate with me, I will turn the whole mess against you into your favor."

"Favor?! Whose favor are you talking about exactly?" 

"You s**t! You really have learned to speak a lot? Didn't you see the media and newspapers? People are calling you a v**en and your life outside this house will be like hellfire for you."

"I am not scared of the rumors, and I know who I am, and I damn don't care about proving it to anyone. Trust me, I will never bend for your demands like before." 

Lulu smiled sarcastically at Anna, "Would you say the same, if I threaten you with your mother's reputation? Have you ever thought, What if, I post these photographs online with a headline 'Like Mother, Like daughter.'"

Lulu extended her hands on both sides spreading her fingers illustrating the last sentence with weight.

"YOU!" Anna launched on Lulu in fierce and grabbed Lulu's throat causing her to choke for air. On the other hand, Lulu who didn't expect the tame girl like Anna to go violent palpitated by the sudden attack.

"Mother!!!" Chris who was eavesdropping their conversation hiding behind the door shouted at once in fright when he saw Anna crushing his mother's throat. He ran to the living room shouting even more, "Father! Father!!"

Anna loosened her grip on Lulu's throat when she heard Chris's scream. Lulu pushed Anna off further and she stumbled on her way to grab a chair to sit. 

Edward rushed to the study room and witnessed Lulu was gasping for air. Lulu at once grabbed his hands and spoke in a hurry while gasping, "She is trying to kill me. Save me, Edward! Save me!" 

"I told her the truth about her mother and she sprang upon me attacking like a beast. She even accused us of having an illegal relationship even before we got married." 

Lulu twisted words did the magic as she expected. Edward locked Anna in one of the unopened room for years in the attic. The entire place was overfilled with dust and spider web, Anna lay quietly in the dusted floor unsure what was happening outside.

Quarter past eleven in the morning, at Clayton's office room.

Luyisa hastily entered Clayton's room to report what precisely happened when she reached Symonds residence, "I could not even get past the gates, they have even filed an assault case against Shane, and furthermore they have reported that I deceived Anna to release an online statement. They used all the video records as evidence against us to prosecute our entire family."

When Luyisa was whimpering in distress, Clayton disregarded the little game planted by Luyisa and Edward, "Anna's final statement on the prosecution day is enough to close the case. I want Anna to get out of that damned place, is there any other way?"

Luyisa thought, 'Is his whole world revolve only around Anna. What about us, our whole Corporation was crumbling. When the prosecution day arrive, we would have long perished.'

Exactly by then, a flash news appeared on the big screen conforming Luyisa statement credibility. 

When both of them watching the broadcast. 

On bottom of the TV screen, there was one more news, "A serious bomb blast in the border of the country S. Number of deceased was not yet confirmed."

This country S was a rival country to their motherland because of the constant border power struggle. The proximity of the blast was also very close to their country. 

Yet the most important news was suppressed by Anna's recent scandal story. 

Out of nowhere, Clayton roared, "This bas**rds! What were they thinking! M**herf****r." 

Clayton continued to curse non-stop and took out his phone to dial a number as he rushed out of the room.

"What just happened?!" Luyisa's complain fell to the empty room. She stood rooted in the place in stupor.

A long day happened, eventful and tragic to be exact. Nawala lahat ng nasa isip ko bigla, maybe by overthinking and exhaustion. Maraming lakaran at takbuhan ang nangyari.

Recap, nagising ako kasama ang isang madaldal na doctor, nakakita ng code, ini-encrypt ito, dumiretso papunta doon pero napigilan ako ni Artemis. Nagising ulit ako at sampal ang nakuha ko, nagpakilala si Athena at si Apollo, nagkaroon kami ng "quiz" laban kay Naranha, nag-usap kami and turns out, we didn't break the code.

In the end, may dumating na lalaking kulay puti ang buhok na may hawak na kutsilyo and did the worst.

Kaya napilitan kaming umalis ng Athena Village for the greater good with some barricades along the way. Masyadong masama pakinggan pero, yeah it's bad.

This is how I remember it.

Nagkagulo lahat ng tao nang saksakin noong lalaki si Apollo. Everyone quickly ran and circled the guy and the place became a total chaos. Magulo? No but actually yes. Masyado talagang magulo.

Some people in their right minds tried to assist Apollo, but I'm sure that their efforts are going to waste. On the opposite are the people not in their right minds. Not actually pero nanggugulo lang talaga sila and not doing anything.

I'm talking about half-nonpractical people. Ever saw one? Look at the mirror. Okay, just kidding.

I immediately ran out of that soon-to-be slumber par-I mean-slaughter party nang may pumasok na dalawang bagay sa utak ko. One is the Doctor and two is to flee. Put one and one together and the answer is a whopping... seven. You'll know what is that about.

Hinila ko siya paalis ng lugar na 'yun nang, another nang, harangan kami ni Naranha at Artemis. Ah, this two. The two who we both, Doctor and I, do not have good impressions.

First impressions are lasting.

"S-sasama kami sa inyong dalawa." sabi ni Artemis habang lumuluha. "W-wala na si Apollo a-at wala ng magtatanggol sa r-reyna. S-sasama kami."

"N-" natigil ang pagsagot ko dahil kay Doctor na humila sa t-shirt ko. She's looking exhausted and nervous. 

"Baka kailanganin natin sila pati na rin si Athena. Remember, kailangan nating malaman kung nasaan tayo." bulong ni Doctor sa akin. Wow, did I just heard...?

"Finally, you're helping me." I whispered to her.

"Compliment 'yun o insulto?" she looked at me with a questioning face.

"Nevermind." I said bago ako humarap  pabalik sa kanilang dalawa. "K-kunin niyo si Athena. Let's get out of here."

I know they don't understand the meaning of 'Let's get out of here' but I think they know what I meant.

Hinanap ni Naranha si Athena habang nag-stay kasama namin si Artemis. I looked at my surroundings once again. Still chaotic. But something's off.
Where's that guy?

"P-paano naman ang ibang tao? A-anong gagawin natin?" Artemis asked. The other people? I didn't thought about that at all and I know the answer in a second. A second.

"H-hindi natin sila kailangan." sagot ko. That's cold.

"P-pa'nong hindi sila kailangan? H-hindi sila mga bagay!" she exclaimed. 

"S-sasama ka na lang, a-andami mo pang tanong."  I ended the conversation quickly because it's definitely gonna be pointless. A chat between a modern person and a, I don't know, primitive person?

She's not the person who can understand my thinking and logic.

After a few seconds, Naranha came back. At sa pagkagulat ko, mas maraming tao sa inaakala kong ipinasama ko. Who are these people? 

I haven't seen them earlier.

May dalagita na mukhang 13 years old pa lang and an old guy na sa braso pa lang, alam kong malakas na. Can't challenge this guy on an arm-wrestling match.

"S-sino sila?" 

"Ito si Esmeralda at ang lolo niya, si Puraw." pagpapakilala ni Naranha sa mag-lolo. 

They really have the name of colors, aren't they?

"H-halika na!" sigaw ni Artemis habang nagmamadaling umalis. Sumunod sa kanya si Naranha na buhat-buhat si Athena, na ngayon ko lang napansin, at ang mag-lolo na magkahawak ang kamay.

Napatingin na lang si Doctor sa akin. There's no sign of any lightness in her face. Halatang malungkot siya kahit inasar at pinatawa ko siya kanina saglit. 

I looked back to the crowd and saw everyone crying and shouting. A long and day is about to pass. Hinawakan ni Doctor ang braso ko at sabay kaming naglakad papalayo.

Pero bawat hakbang namin, parang mas bumibigat ang pakiramdam ko. I don't know why I'm feeling this at napaka-weird for me. Am I feeling...?

No, I'm not feeling any unseen entities or mga multo. I don't believe in any of those since I'm a science enthusiast.

Twenty-five years old na ako at sa buong 25 years ng buhay ko, I haven't felt this thing before. It's not joy or anything happy or positive. Parang nabablangko ako.

Like sadness. Must be normal. Please be normal.

And another thing. May nase-sense din akong isa pang bagay. Not like I have a superpower about heightened senses. The thing I watched about animes, bloodlust and hostility.

It's coming from that guy. Curse him.

Naglakad na kami paalis or palayo ng Athena Village. If I know where we really are, I'm gonna report that guy to the government as soon as I can.

Now, he committed a crime. Murder.

It took us a couple of minutes before realizing where we heading. Lahat kami ay may iniisip na masyadong like we're on our own worlds and no one's disturbing each other until Naranha.

"Saan tayo pupunta?" he asked politely.
Nalutang ako mula kanina na hindi ko na naramdaman na sumasakit na pala 'yung paa ko.

"H-hindi ko rin alam." sumagot na lang ako ng maayos dahil ayoko munang humirit ng isang pang-asar. Imbis naman na magulat siya ay hindi na lang siya nag-react.

"Sundan ninyo ako, may alam akong lugar kung saan tayo makakapagpahinga." Naranha declared. "Mukhang uulan pa 'ata."

We ran towards the forest and escaped from the murderer who wants to kill the first person that potentially knows what's happening actively illustrating that we need to go to the shelter.

Scindere woke up from a long slumber with the absence of human technology and modernity, only left with him is a talkative doctor who he doubts that can help him.

Without a trace of humanity's latest discoveries and inventions, it's time for him to use everything what he did and what he didn't learned in elementary. But there's the catch, they don't know where are they and what waits them in the future.

Yeah, like codes and a little bit of a... killer.

"I'm sorry, your highness if I said something improper. I promise I won't ask my wife to leave her job again and she can do whatever she likes. I will even look after my children in her absence."

The man cried and Atarah succeeded in illustrating her juncture.

"You should admit guilt to your wife, not me."

Atarah said and the man promised he would do so. 

"Well done Atarah, we didn't even need to start the case and proceedings for this man. You oversaw his case quite well but remember, this is royal court and this place does not work on emotions on feelings. You can't pass judgments based on sentiments. I am letting this one go because the man does not have any more conflicts ."

The queen told Atarah who was sad. This was the reason why she despised being at the royal court. Even when they all knew what was favorable and what was unfair, still no judgment could be upheld without having an ethical proceeding on the typical case.

"I realize mother."

Atarah asserted dishearted and even the queen was aware that Atarah didn't relish it. 

"We shall embark with our next case."

Queen ordered and another man strode inside the courtroom but this time, Atarah was in no disposition to give attention to whatever he would say. She knew her mother won't let her say anything else on the law structure. She was still the Queen and it was her duty to procure justice. She let Atarah handle the one case because she needed to test her and now she could not let her do it anymore.

The hearings went on and Atarah felt drowsy throughout the session. She just wished to evade the place but that would be very defiant for the queen and she didn't want to do that. Her eyes fell upon prince Ambrose. He was gawking at her, scrutinizing her. 

'What's wrong with him? Can't he even allow me to sit peacefully without being judged for some time?' Atarah questioned in her mind. She just grinned at the prince and he gave a slight smile as returning the gesture.

The court hearings stopped and finally, Atarah was permitted to go back to her room but instead, she chose to go to the gardens. She needed to revive her mind, she needed fresh air and her rabbits. In the garden, she settled on the bench under a tree and closed her eyes, feeling the warmth of the sun. She wished that Felizah wouldn't come and locate her, if she did she would drag her back to her room and ask her to behave like a lady usually does in front of the guests. 'But was that really true? A lady should only act like a lady? And what is that supposed to mean? Isn't one supposed to figure out in what way they want to behave or what exactly are they prying to do? There were so many questions rising in Atarah's head but there was no one to retort those. 

"Can I have a seat, princess?"

Prince Ambrose questioned. He was the last person that Atarah has anticipated to meet in the gardens at this hour. She stood up.

"Yes please, sir."

She said and sat down once Ambrose was settled on the bench.

"You were quite ferocious in the court today. Why were you so irate about the matter?"

Ambrose inquired.

"Everything that man was asserting was so impolite towards the female race. How could one have beliefs like that?"

Atarah's question wasn't directed towards the prince instead it was for all those men who had the same psyche and same opinion for working women.

"Why do you speculate he was incorrect? Why would God prefer to give a woman the dignity of delivering a child if it meant that she doesn't need to raise them, to look after them? I think if they are honored with the ability to produce the child then they should be the ones to look after them."

Ambrose's terms took Atarah in awe. She had not foreseen this from the prince. She thought he too would favor her on the sentiment of equality.

"Is there only a female's sole contribution in producing a new life? No, it's the verdict of both mother and father, then why should a mother be the only one to feed, to pamper the child. It should be both of their duty."

Atarah was deduced to make her facts clear in front of the prince.

"You know what I think? That the kingdom should be run by the king instead of a queen. Like today, you affirmed your judgments impulsively and whatever you were saying was what you believed, they were your sentiments. You weren't thinking logically. This confirms that females most often inclined to think based on emotions, on the contrary, a man could take many reasonable decisions and think logically."

Ambrose alleged Atarah for speaking up the right in the court even when he knew that everything that Atarah said was true.

"Why do you reckon a woman could not think logically? And why do you think that emotions don't have logic?"

Atarah questioned his thoughts and his sick mentality towards women.

"You just demonstrated today Atarah that women don't think logically, they act upon feelings."

"And what about the other question I asked? Were my emotions irrational? Did I say anything bizarre and not good out of emotions or turmoil?"

Although Atarah wasn't supposed to talk to the royal guests this way but intentionally or unintentionally Ambrose was debating on one subject Atarah was prudent about. She couldn't tolerate someone speaks like that about a woman in front of her. She was sick of such psychology where women were contemplated only good for raising children. One thing she always questioned herself about was that the kingdom was run by the queen, a woman, and still, people had thought that women were only good for raising children and other household chores.

Princess Atarah Windsor, soon to inherit the crown of Queen of Zayeania, is a carefree girl who has been living her life, caged in a palace but free like an open bird.  Do you feel this long descent into hell coming? I didn't feel it either. Rub shoulders with the abyss every day, I looked elsewhere for a little light, as if to avoid the fatal and inevitable sinking. 

 
 

And yet the outside world seemed even more austere to me. I was one of those children unable to integrate, prostrate tirelessly in a sickly fear of rejection. So I isolated myself, keeping in my mouth this bitter feeling of being too much. The words sounded wrong, it seemed to me that I could not meddle in this outer life, that I was a dissonant element in the face of this atmosphere far too lively. I stopped speaking, weighing every tiny syllable, hesitating with every movement, diverting every look. I observed this ambient life, analyzing each of its aspects, in silence. I spent such a long time not to mention that the sound of my own voice seemed foreign to me. I've watched others evolve, weave bonds. In silence. Persuaded to be a added piece, invisible, yet far too visible. I grew up with foot eighth, vile child tauts and mocking glances. And. and I kept quiet more. It takes time to realize his harassment. I realized mine so recently. It might seem unthinkable that these cruel and innocent acts of child are not justified. I thought I deserved this permanent rejection, this feeling of embarrassment. And yet he was not. I understand it now, without feeling any grudges. I thought I was the problem, and I doubly hated myself for it. I was the cause of everything and nothing at once. How can hatred be preferred to indifference? The two seemed to associate divinely, and from this association I kept only this perpetual fear of rejection. How do you find a place in a world that doesn't seem to want you? 

 
 

I had this ball in my stomach on the way to school and on my way home. I was in a kind of perpetual apnea, clinging to the few things that seemed welcoming to me. 

 
 

 That's where my passion for books came. This adoration of beautiful phrases, from the resonant words to the depths of the soul. I dived into the books to hope to get out of the real world. I shared my sadness and my sorrows with beautiful words. I understood the character of Emma Bovarie, six years too early. Tears, and sometimes even blood, permeated the pages. I hid my blades in collections illustrating the spleen, and my sadness on some of Camus's pages. I liked some books more than some humans, and I used them as a bulwark against them. And yet it was no longer enough. My being became more and more impervious to words, to every literary sigh, to everything. My sick brain is no longer even able to concentrate on these lines, which have become wobbling before my dull eyes. And I can't even stand it. 

 
 

With this passion for books came that of art. I understood that this vague thing that is drawing made me a little more bear the existence. So I filled sheets, notebooks and even canvases with uncertain scribbles. I have represented women's bodies, some of my attraction to them. I left a little of my mind wobbling, and even my daily life on these innocuous leaves. I drew my loved ones, my darkest words, my most beautiful joys. And I like to see those moments of my life locked in simple notebooks. Art has saved me for a long time. It always seemed to me to be the only thing to cling to, and those with all my strength. And yet art seems to be running away from me now. How can I rediscover the joy of drawing or painting? Everything seems bland, and my hands tremble in front of a white sheet. And part of me fears the only thing I can get a little recognition from. This fear of being only once again an abject and useless being. Knowing that one will never prevent the other. 

 
 

It seems crazy to cling to something as uncertain as art, but what else clings firmly to such inner chaos? People are too uncertain to hold on to it sincerely, I understood it very quickly.
