Another year passed I have 2 years old. in this one year, I create a skill using Psychic power. I was taking advantage of my sleeping hours to invoke [Fly] so that I would pass out in bedtime. In this year Kushina teach me how to read some characters.

In this one year, I haven't done much else other than memorizing words so that I could speak, therefore most of the time, I just spent it dazing around, the fact that I've got something useful to do these past several days has given me a sense of accomplishment.

After eating my breakfast, we immediately began our class of learning the characters.

This system of character is hard to understand, In this system of characters there doesn't seem to be an phonographic writings, instead this system is logographic writing system. 

The way we practiced was by putting sand on a plate and their using our fingers to write the characters.

The shape of the characters didn't have many curves, and most of the words were composed of straight lines.

I repeated que process over and over again, there came a day when I could read and write the basics, so I asked for books to read. During this period I managed to read 6 illustrated books and with that I managed to acquire some stats points, discovery: studying writing and reading guarantees XP, very little, but it is already a start. 

The gains for that period were 5 points in Intelligence, 4 points in Wisdom, 365 points in MP and 365 XP, one for each day of the year. Other than that, I reached Max level in Fly.

Another year passed I have 3 years old. in this one year, I create another skill using Psychic power: [Telekinesis], furthermore, my reading and writing is much better, I can read academic books without problems.

During this period, I didn't just read, every morning Kushina and I left the house, sometimes we visited the park and sometimes we visited Mikoto house, while a shadow clone created by Kushina trained Mya elsewhere, when I found out I asked to attend the training, however Kushina said he would teach me fuinjutsu and techniques for shaping chakra after I am three years old, I am almost sure it is leaf technique, climbing trees and walking in water. I think it's useless for me ... I can fly what a difference it will make - sorry I can't say that, well I think I will have to 'learn' as soon as possible then.

When we visited the park Kushina left me in the sandbox with the other children, however I didn't find anyone from Naruto's class… without having children worth talking to, all I did was build things out of sand and clay without stopping using [Telekinesis], maybe it will be useful in the future who knows ... this game was kind of good, it gave me the skill [Craft]. Every day we went to the park, I kept grinding XP for these two Skills.

When we visited the Uchiha compound, more precisely Mikoto's house, well I got wooden shurikens and wooden Kunais, which made me happy… that's not what I meant, on our visits I became friendly with little Sasuke, well it was good boring actually all this boy says is how good his brother Itachi's, how he is the badass for having completed the academy and became a Genin at the age of 7… I think if it weren't for Gamer's Ming I would have done him pass out using something with Telekinesis …

It was a late and cloudy morning on the floating island of Skyloft. The skies were dyed a cold prussian, with a chilly air whistling through the village. The townsfolk had retired from their usual daily duties, with the majority of them seeking refuge in their own warm homes. Over at the Knight Academy, two students were less than bothered about the weather and were more focused on their task at hand.
Zelda waltzed through the corridor, closely followed by her companion, Link. She was dancing about the place, humming to herself. The silent hero watched her, a smile on his lips, nothing filled him with more joy than seeing her happy.
"Do you think we will be able to find the book?" she turned around to ask her partner, her arms interlocked behind her back. Link nodded, he didn't see why they wouldn't be able to find what they were looking for, "Guess it's a good job we decided to go to the library after all." She said with a sigh, noticing the dark skies brewing outside the window.
The pair took a step closer to the glass to admire the view. Even on the rare occasions when the weather was gloomy, the island of Skyloft was still beautiful. Grey clouds had begun to scatter the prussian sky, ready to disperse at any moment. The couple smiled at one another, they had made a good decision to come to the academy library today.
Zelda pushed herself off the window frame, ushering her companion to follow. Link took hold of her hand, causing her to turn back to him, her cheeks dyed pink. The couple walked a little further down the corridor until they reached the large wooden door leading the library. The silent hero took it upon himself to take a step ahead of his companion, and open the door for her. The blonde-haired girl gave him a quick bow with her hair out of respect. A silent thank you between them both.
Inside the library, sat behind a varnish-oak desk, was a woman in her mid-thirties sipping quietly on a hot beverage and flipping through a tome. She looked up from her page to see the pair walk into her domain. Zelda noticed her gaze and walked up to the counter to greet her.
"Good morning," she said politely, recognising the librarian as her classmate Pipit's mother.
"Good morning," the librarian replied with a smile, "Can I help you with something?" she asked, closing her book as Link joined his companion's side.
The young blonde shook her head, "I think we're fine, thank you."
"Be sure to let me know if there is anything," she replied, returning her head back to her book. Zelda nodded, taking hold of her companion's hand and leading him towards the fiction section.
The couple looked around at the bookshelves, in the hope they would find what they were after. They searched for an hour, briefly glancing over each spine but had no luck. The blonde-haired girl stood with her hands on her hips, a confused look plastered across her face. She was sure the book was here. It had to be. Link reappeared from behind one of the bookshelves holding a children's fiction book in his hand. He held it up for his partner to take a look.
"What do you have there, Link?" she asked him, curious to know what he found. Her companion handed her the book illustrated with a beautiful watercolor painting of a duckling on the front, "Oh. The ugly duckling," she said softly, running her fingers across the cover. While it was a book she had heard when he was younger, it wasn't the book she was after. She shook her head and handed the book back to him, "It's not this one, but thank you." Her companion nodded and returned the book back to its shelf.
Zelda skimmed her finger across the shelf beside her, taking a look at each spine. She felt Link return to her and turned back to him, "I remember a little more about the book," she said quietly, not wanting to annoy the librarian. The silent hero folded his arms across his chest and nodded slowly, wanting to hear what she had to say.
She noticed a group of plush bean bag chairs sitting upon the mat that decorated the floor and gestured for the pair of them to sit. Link agreed following her over to the seats. Zelda slumped back, ungracefully, into the bean bag, letting out a giggle as she stumbled. Her companion copied her action, repeating her mistake, wincing from the shock.
"I remember a little more about the illustrations I saw inside the book," she begun, interlocking her fingers in her lap, "Something to do with a fish, or something similar. It was definitely a book that had a lot of water." She continued, racking her mind for something that would help. Her companion nodded, understanding the details she was retelling. He raised his index finger up, indicating he needed a minute, she nodded watching him dash off to another bookshelf a short distance away.
Zelda continued to sit on her bean bag and look around at the bookshelves sitting beside her. She gazed up at one shelf, with a particular book catching her sapphire-dyed eyes. She stood up, taking a step closer to the shelf. A small book had been placed as the pride of the shelf, something the library did weekly showcasing their personal recommendations or new books that had come in. The edges were worn in places, with the cover illustration a little scuffed. The book had all the signs of a well-loved children's novel that had been cherished by all those who had read it.
The blonde-haired student took the book in her pale hands, turning it over a few times. She glanced at the blurb on the back, decorated as a scroll and edges in seashells. Could this be it, Zelda thought to herself, turning the book back to the cover. It certainly featured the sea with a half-woman, half-fish illustrated on the front. She kept the book in her arms and returned to her bean bag just in time for Link to reappear, carrying a small stack of books in his arms. He took his seat beside her, excited to show his companion the novels he had found.
Not to break his heart, Zelda happily looked through the books with him so his hard work did not go to waste. He handed the first book, a scratchy illustration of a whale sat on the front cover. She took it from him and flipped through a couple of the pages before shaking her blonde hair and giving it back. Link frowned, offering her another book. Once again she accepted it kindly and flicked through a few of the pages but shook her head once more before returning it back to him. He produced another, a watercolor painting of a sea horse decorated the cover.
"Oh, Link, this one isn't a fiction book." She said, realising the book he had given her was about the wildlife under the sea. She let out a soft giggle but was quickly shushed by the librarian in the distance. Zelda placed a pale hand to her lips and mouthed oops to her companion. She handed the wildlife book back to him. Link felt his cheek flush pink with embarrassment, how did he overlook that? He replaced the book with a fiction one this time, featuring an orange clown-fish and a blue surgeonfish on the front.
"This one look interesting," Zelda replied, turning the book over to read the blurb before flipping through a couple of the pages, heavily illustrated by, what she believed, was the story. It was prominently a picture book aimed at smaller children, "But the target audience should be older. This is for small children," she said handing the book back to him. The couple sat comfortably in their bean bags going through the rest of the fiction books the silent hero had gathered. But none of them had been the one Zelda was looking for. That book still remained close by her side, almost like a trump card.
Link was down to his last novel, with a stack of discarded books to his left side that he would have to return once they were finished. He was not looking forward to that particular task. The last book was decorated more plainly than the other novels showcased before it. It was one of the older books with a worn leather cover with gold script carved into the fabric. Zelda took the novel in her hands and was surprised to see the title that was written on the cover.
"You found it," she spoke softly, almost finding it difficult to believe that there had been two copies of her favourite book hiding in the library, "Thank you, Link." She said, smiling at him and the book in turn. But inside she felt a little guilty, she too had found the book she remembered from her childhood.
Zelda looked down towards the floor, her pale hands clutching onto the hem of her cerise dress, "Link, I must confess something." She spoke, barely audible to anyone except her companion. The silent hero edged closer to hear her better, tilting his head to one side, confused with what she was about to inform him. He watched as she produced a copy of the same book, but with an illustrated cover. She placed both books side by side.
"I also found the book," Zelda continued to explain, her hands smoothing over the leather-bound copy, "Truth be told. I thought only one copy existed in the academy," she whispered, not wanting to be scolded again, "But this one," she said holding up the copy she had located, "Was the one I remember as a child." The blonde-haired student opened the book revealing the beautiful watercolor illustrations inside the book that featured very little text on each page and instead was dominated by the pictures.
"My mother used to read this to me when I was younger," Zelda explained, running her fingertips against the image of the half-woman half-fish character, "I enjoyed the story, despite the sad ending it has. I always hoped that the water creature truly existed." She said pointing at the main character, she believed to be called Ariel. Link gestured towards the book, he had not heard the story himself.
"Have you not heard the little mermaid before?" his companion asked. The silent hero shook his head, his cheeks dyed a deeper shade of pink from embarrassment. He had not lived a normal childhood. He never knew his parents and never had the opportunity to hear a bedtime story.
"Would you like me to read it to you?" Zelda asked politely, not wanting to offend him, but desperately wanted to share her favourite childhood novel with her partner. Link nodded, I'd like that, he thought to himself. His companion smiled back at him, "I'll just go check out the two copies whilst you put away the others. Something tells me the librarian wouldn't appreciate us reading this book aloud," she replied with a sigh, tucking both the novels under her arm before getting to her boots. Link followed her lead, gathering up the discarded book pile to return to the bookshelves whilst Zelda headed over to the front desk.
"Hello again," she said politely to the librarian, who smiled back.
"Just these two?" the older woman asked, putting down her cup of black coffee and standing up on her feet. Zelda nodded, "Very well, allow me to stamp them for you," the librarian replied, picking up her small stamp. She dabbed it into an ink pad before stamping a slip of paper on the inside cover of the books and pushing them back towards their new owner. "All finished for you. I hope you enjoy them." She smiled once more before returning to her seat. The blonde-haired student bowed her head in respect, thanking the librarian before making her way towards the door.
Zelda had only been waiting a few minutes when Link rejoined her side. He held out his arm and allowed his companion to interlock her arm in his. The couple set off back to his bedchambers.

Link sat upright on his bed, his back rested against his wooden headboard with his companion tucked up in his arms. The pair of them had a steaming mug of cocoa, provided to them by the academy kitchen staff - a perfect treat on a cold and rainy autumn evening, particularly with a good book to read. This moment couldn't have been spoiled by anything. The ambiance of the rain tapping lightly on his bedroom window, the warmth of their bodies close together and Zelda softly reading her favourite childhood novel for her partner to enjoy. This moment was truly perfect.

Chapter-1
Awakening
The first thing I clearly remember is feeling somewhat confused.
For a lot of reasons: I was no longer twenty-two years old (at least judging by my pudgy hands, blurry vision, and attention span of a mosquito), other children were roaming around, the adults people around me were not speaking my home country language mother tongue, and I was enthralled by a bright, orange wood cube.
Don't get me wrong, I normally don't don't normally despise orange, or wood, or regular geometrical 3-D objects, it's fascinating, really, but before my first memory in this shrunken form, I'm quite sure I was just about to submit my thesis for my Bachelor degree in History.
From there my confusion was born.
It most definitely was not a dream This was definitely not a dream, simply because if you can think about being while in a dream then while you are sleeping, it's easy to distinguish it from reality. At least this is that's always been something I could do.
My confusion was slowly subdued by my rising panic.
WHAT THE FUCK!?
I was almost hyperventilating, and boy is it not something stupid to do? The other children would notice something was wrong with me, so would the adults, and I would found myself in some secret military lab being dissected for some reason or another.
Because seriously, what else could it be? I wasn't two years old! And yet I most certainly appeared as such. I forced myself to calm down.
Looking around, I noticed a distinct lack of cameras or soldiers or even mad scientists for what mattered.
Maybe the cameras were super small though, so I couldn't start studying my environment like the paranoid adult I was.
Following a gut feeling, I spent the following hours crying, playing and mindlessly roaming on my unsteady legs, blending in with the other children.
From what I can observe, they were your regular annoying little toddlers, I looked to be in an orphanage of some kind. I didn't hate the children, I was the same slobbering mess at their age, but that raised other questions. Like why was I the only adult in disguise? And why were they all talking in what my limited experience with animes identified as Japanese?
Not that there was anything wrong with japan, just, I'd always thought that strange experiments regarding transplanting an adult into a baby were more up America's alley.
Another problem was that I couldn't read Japanese. That meant that even if I managed to somehow find a random document that explained everything, I wouldn't understand it. I only hoped that the official documents would be in English.
At the end of the day, I wasn't equipped well enough to properly investigate.
Laying low was my only option until my body caught up with my mind and I found a way to escape.
That is, in a worst-case situation.
Maybe I simply had I had simply/I'd simply been struck down by an aneurism aneurysm and reborn into the body of a Japanese. Which was worrying, but workable with Which while worrying, was still workable/Which was worrying, but workable.
For a time that I could hardly define, it could have been a few months or a year, I tried to fly under their radar.
I started recognizing some words and the mysteries of Japanese were slowly starting to unravel before me.
However, the orphanage had some inconsistencies, like the wooden floors, that I thought was something for they appeared far more appropriate for more refined environments. Yet, the food was bad food. I mean, if you can afford both posh wooden floors and their maintenance, then you can afford something different than rice at every fucking meal. Bread! I needed bread and cheese! And what is it with the fish? It was everywhere! Sometimes pork, okay. ? But what about beef? Hell, pasta! Ravioli! whatever! I needed something that at least could remember bore some resemblance to Italian food!
I could make do with noodles, noodles were awesome, but it wasn't the same.
The names of the other kids had been something I could seldom say right, at least until I became (following my gut) four years old. Around my 'fourth' birthday, the Japanese suddenly clicked, the cadence of the language fell in place on my tongue, and I started thinking in Japanese. It was then that I realized that I already had the reputation of being a dimwit, it was subtle, but the way the matron of the orphanage waited just a little more for me to answer to her questions was were proof enough.
Excuse me if I had to learn a whole new language on my own. I thought bitterly at the time, before realizing that it could be something that kept me even more sheltered from scrutinizing eyes.
Another strange thing that I'd noticed was the complete absence of newspapers, and there wasn't television that we orphans had access to. And also, the games; there wasn't a single western chess board anywhere, or a monopoly, for what mattered not even a monopoly for that matter. All the books the children had access to were filled to the brim with ninjas, or more rarely, samurais. Animals and trees were still there, And while I'd never been allowed to leave the premises of the orphanage, I never heard a single-engine, nor saw a single airplane crossing the sky. My Me being dimwitted had kept me from being displayed to the occasional parents wishing to adopt, but that hadn't stopped me from recognizing their clothes: often kimonos of some kind, almost always accompanied by sandals. I thought that I lived in some kind of Amish reserve in the middle of nowhere.
I was maybe five when I saw it for the first time. It wasn't a coincidence that I hadn't noticed it until then, after all the courtyard of the orphanage didn't face the mountainside. But once I was given permission to leave the orphanage's grounds, it was unmistakeable, unavoidable. It was bullshit.
It was a sunny, cloudless day. Late autumn, I would have said. We were in that a time of the year that which belonged to neither summer nor winter. The time when mornings were becoming colder and the afternoons shorter.
Probably, me asking to the matron how to write my name on the previous day had helped in her decision of allowing me to go play in the park with the older children. It'd been a strange moment.
I'd been sitting alone under a window, absentmindedly tracing my fingers over the few kanjis letters over the illustrated book. I was trying to decipher them, but beyond recognizing the same symbol here and there, I was having little luck.
The orphanage's matron leaned over my shoulder out of nowhere: "Reading, are we?"
I summoned all my cuteness and stared at her with wide eyes, grabbing my Japanese and stringing it together in what I hoped was: "Teach me?"
It worked. The woman smiled and ruffled my hair, making me smile impishly. She chose to teach me only how to write my name. I was skeptical, but it turned that learning how to write was more difficult than I'd previously imagined.
My name was Daiki, and the woman had shown me that it was written with 大 (dai) meaning "big, great" combined with 輝 (ki) meaning "brightness", or 樹 (ki) meaning "tree", or even 貴(ki) meaning "valuable". She told me that while they all sounded the same, the meanings were very different. I told her that I wanted to be 大輝. She told me that I was a 'big tree' instead. I didn't care, it was my name, I would bloody write it as I wished.
And while I had to resist the urge of rolling my eyes at her patronizing tone, I found the idea of kanji simply beautiful. Oh, it wasn't effective at all, I knew that. E... that alphabet was extraordinarily versatile and precise. But in my opinion, lacked the subtle elegance kanjis were capable of. I asked her if she could teach me how to write properly write, and that, I think, surprised her. She'd told me that I could start learning in the following week. I had a couple of months of catching up to do, but I could sit along with the others six years old kids.
Back to us. After my display of what I guess could be called maturity, I was allowed to play in the park on the other side of the road. Luckily, but perhaps due to my often blank expression (unnatural on a child) or general quietness, the other kids tend tended to leave me alone, and the matron, besides the occasional bout of kindness, was far too busy to keep a close eye on me. So my general loneliness, while swinging between nerve-wracking and welcome, went unnoticed.
It was then that I realized I was reborn into a cult of some kind. Seriously, why in the fucking hell there would there be a Mount Rushmore with anime characters on the north side of the city?
All the inconsistencies had come together that way It all came together. The magically being reborn in there raised a shy objection in my mind. I'd read enough fanfictions to recognize the beginning of an SI-OC in Naruto when I was starring in it. I stared at the monument that was the trademark of Konohagakure no Sato for what looked like a lifetime. My blood rushed to into my ears and I could only hear the beating of my heart. I forced myself to look around and try to find out if it was only a big cosplay movement moment or not.
The park had a low wooden fence and a number of benches, with an abundance of bushes and skimpy trees, slides, and even a sandbox. I walked around a bit in my short legs, casually noticing how most girls had frilly dresses and jumpers while the boys (myself included) wore cargo pants of some kind and tracksuit covering our torsos. The popularity of sandals was mind-blogging, even if I'd I had little choice but to go with the flow. Everything us orphans wore only second-hand clothes, but the material was sturdy and managed to keep me warm. I couldn't complain.
Trees were sprouting everywhere between the condominiums, and while there wasn't a single cloud in sight, leaves were fluttering everywhere over our heads. Looking back, even cultists wouldn't give wooden kunais to for children to play with. Or would they? After watching "The Following" I thought that everything was possible for a cultist.
A noise broke the pattern of children squabbling and I turned to see three older kids walking down the road laughing among themselves, I immediately recognized their Hitai-ate (forehead protection). They had forgettable faces and moved... well, like civilians actually, no show of magic chakra powers of any kind. I was starting to relax. It's only a cult of Naruto. I thought, somewhat relieved. The situation still had a lot of problems and issues I needed to solve, but I had to deal with humans, no strange shit. Physics was still real, and I wasn't going to attend Hogwarts, I didn't have to find a strange ring to toss into an active volcano. Surviving was doable.
I blinked, and in a gust of wind, a man with a shiny Hitai-ate appeared in front of them, scaring everyone shitless. Probably the trio had done some bullshit, I had other thoughts running amock amok in my head. It's real. sounded in my head.
I stumbled towards an empty patch of bushes and puked what was left of my lunch. Shit shit shit shit shit this cannot go worse shit shit shit shit.
"Hey did you eat a slug?" a kid asked, triggering a waterfall of laughter out of the other children that chose exactly that moment to look at me.
I looked up from my vomit to stare at the laughing kids in the eyes, before stopping my gaze on the one that expressed such a refined example of humor.
"Yeah." I deadpanned. "Yeah, I ate a slug."

Looking at the map at a low angle of about 30 degrees from the direction of the employee's building, the words "Mbmstlib13" appeared when lining up the gaps in the shading of the map.

Dividing up the words, he got M, bmst, lib, and 13. The only text that had some semblance of a clue was "lib", which likely meant that the location is somewhere in the library. As for M, bmst and 13, he had a feeling he would understand when he arrives at the library. 

He went to the dining area, grabbed several pieces of flavored bread and headed to the library.

Everything in the library looked like before; a long wooden table split the library into two sections. In the two sections, there was a table in each corner. There were three floors, and one can look down from the second and third floors to the central area. All the walls were filled with books, parchments, and scrolls of various materials,  shapes and sizes. Some of them even had chains that bound them to the shelves. 

Xylos had some suspicions that the steganography might be pointing to one of those books. From the memory he received, the library had a variety of books many were magical in nature only readable to those that have a matching core; some are even antagonistic causing harm to those of the opposing magic system; some could even pull in a reader (both figuratively and literally) into the book and try to convert or scare them.

Xylos really hoped that the thing he was looking for isn't one of those. He felt that the words "bmst" was an abbreviation for a book. He searched the library for most of the afternoon. Whenever he felt hungry, he would eat half of the bread and keep going.

At the end of the day,  he found three potential books. The first one was a book called "Bryant's mystical spectral tarots", the second was a hardcover book with the words "bmst" written on all surfaces with a keyhole illustrated on the front cover, and the third was a chained book called "Beryl's musical scores and travels."

The only reason he recalled those books was that the authors seem to have tried really hard to come up with meaningful names using B, M, S, and T as the letters for starting a word.

He went through the first book and it was a personal illustration of all the major and minor arcana of what looked like a tarot deck each depicting a personification of worldly constants such as Death, Stars, Sun, Moon, Key, Mana, and Life.

It was a beautiful art book that seemed to encompass all aspects of life. Each card also had a rune near the bottom of the page. When he touched an image, it had a texture relative to what was drawn. For example, the moon would feel cool and solid to the touch, grass can either feel rough as if they are drying up or flexible as if it was fresh and vibrant. For a moment, Xylos even felt that he smelled something from one of the images. He even had a moment, where he could swear that he saw one of the more provocative female personifications winked at him as he was flipping through the pages. 

He was completely engrossed in the artbook; drawn in by the texture and the feeling that the image is alive.  He didn't notice that every time he flipped a page, the rune on the back page would fade out for a moment before appearing again slightly dimmer than before.

When he finished reading the book, he felt a rush of heat flow from his chest. It surprised him at first but on further inspection, nothing seems to have changed about his state. It felt similar to a rush that happened when a person pulled themselves out of a state of concentration and just realized that the room was hotter than before.

He put the artbook aside and opened the book titled "bmst," the moment he touched it he felt mana flow into him and reflect back after reaching his core. As it happened, he almost threw away the book out of fear. This was one of the magic books that checked if the reader had a matching magic system before it would show its contents. Luckily, it wasn't one of those books that attacked the reader if he or she wasn't.

As he expected, when he opened the book every page either had a single word "bmst" on it or was blank. The illustrated keyhole on the page looked suspicious and a thought came to his mind that maybe if he drew a "key" rune depicted in the previous book and pressed it against the lock the contents would appear or something would happen.

Thus, he took a piece of rune paper, folded it four times so it could fit in the palm of his hand and then drew the "key" rune from the artbook on it. Sadly,  he didn't feel anything when the rune was drawn. Regardless, he pressed the piece of paper at the keyhole hoping for something to happen. He waited for a few minutes...

and then some more...

but as he somewhat expected...

nothing happened...without a second thought, he drew the words "Key" vertically on another folded piece of rune paper. The moment he compiled the spell using his system, the piece of paper started glowing; at the same time, the "bmst" book seems to glow with the same color. 

Xylos cautiously pushed the glowing "key" rune into the illustrated keyhole. It went right in and created an audible click before the paper dissipated into the air.

Xylos watched the book for a moment before hesitantly opened the book. He flipped to a random page noticed a blank page, however this time something that looked like an ink figurine appeared on the page. It performed a series of eloquent movements; some looked like a dance; some looked like a stage performance, and some even looked like fighting and grappling moves. Each action caused the page to fill up with various things such as fire, stars, spirits of various colors and shapes, plants, and small to large animals. Once the page was filled with things the page would automatically flip over. 

The ink figurine performed from page to page, creating all sorts of things until it stopped unwillingly at the final page before it looked up and looked at Xylos with an abstract smile...then it abruptly jumped out of the page toward his face. Xylos reeled back in surprise only to see the figurine vanish before reaching him. He immediately inspected himself to make sure that nothing happened to his body or core. To his relief, everything was the same.

It didn't seem like a coincidence that both books were magical in one way or another. He promptly put the "bmst" book away; he had a feeling it was like those mischevious books that liked surprising incompatible readers. 

He made his way to the chained book titled "Beryl's musical scores and travels" on the second floor of the library. Standing some distance away, he inspected the book. Slowly but surely, some sort of music started coming out of the book. It started with a slow flute melody before the sound of a piano, a trumpet, and a violin joined in and built a fast-paced epic; it sounded like a person setting out for a grand adventure for the first time. 

The longer he listened to it,  the louder the music became until it drowned out everything in the library. He tried to pull away but the felt the music resonate comfortably inside his body and he closed his eyes to take in the feeling. He only did so because he felt his body rejuvenating with each beat, tone, and rhythm from the music. Finally, it seemed to evoke the image of rhythmically dancing figures and calm shifting landscapes in his mind-eye. He felt powerful and unrestrained, indulging in a feeling of comfort and boundlessness. 

He didn't know how much time passed but when the music faded he opened his eyes, he found himself standing in the center of a large clearing surrounded by tall trees on all sides.

"Where am I now...?"

Xylos was copied from another universe into another with all his memories intact into the body of an "Artificial Human" at an experimental facility. It was a world of magic with a familiar system, but alas, as a failed product with an incomplete core, he only has a month to live. How will he survive?
