Yuuki and Pheo return to the tournament grounds to see team JNPR standing around not paying attention to their opponents they begin to yell at each other about something Pheo can't quite make out. He stands there with a bored expression.

Harriet: Why hasn't the other team attack them yet?

Pheo: I have no idea that blond dude... Uh, what's his name? It has a J in it... Anyway everyone does weird stuff around him like things they wouldn't normally do.

Suddenly Nora jumps at them and smashes them all with her hammer which sends them all out of the ring and the loudspeaker kicks on.

Mr. Port: And with that, it appears team JNPR wins by knockout. Literally. Can someone go make sure they're okay?

Pheo: Ugh... Damn it I would mop the floor with absolutely everyone if I was in this!

Harriet: Whoa pheo where did you get the sword and gun?

Pheo: Oh these? Got them in the mail apparently not all my family members are dead... Although it could just be snail mail.

Nick: Are those dust crystals embedded in the weapons?

Pheo: Oh, yeah they are...

Pheo is interrupted by the sound of the stage changing he looks over to see there's a dessert that has raised behind a team of complete females who look quite happy about it. An orange ball appears in the sky and everyone puts sunglasses on.

Harriet: Shesh did they really have to make it that bright and hot?

Pheo: It feels great!

Pheo looks back down at the other half of the stage and sees that the ocean was chosen Neptune turns around then goes immediately stiff and stays completely still.

Pheo: What the hell? Ha! He's scared of water just look at him.

???: Well then this match should be entertaining.

 Pheo looks over at a black-haired Faunus with black horns watching Neptune with a smile. She notices Pheo looking over at her.

???: What? Got a problem?

Pheo: Oh I have many... But not with you.

Mr. Oobleck: ThreeTwoOne Begin!

neptune immediately shoots past the girls and climbs a mountain neigh instantly and Pheo begins to laugh hysterically. The fight goes by slowly due to Pheo becoming bored with just watching fights. He did, however, cringe when one of the poor guys got a coconut to the nuts and took notice of the lady who used tornados. He also watches Son and Neptune dancing like idiots in the center of the fighting grounds he just shakes his head. The loudspeakers click on once again

Mr. Oobleck: That concludes the matches for...

Ozpin: Hold it right there... We denied entry for the festival to two teams because they were just too dangerous. But after much thought, we have decided to let them have a match with each other. Team PHNX and Team POIS please enter the arena.

Pheo: HELL YEAH!!!

Pheo wastes no time in jumping down onto the centerstage cracking his knuckles his team follows suit but through the proper methods.

Harriet: We actually get to fight! Oh, I just can't wait.

Nick: Im actually quite excited too.

Xan: There's a lot of people...

Petra: This ought to be fun... Im Petra Catian Of Team POIS.

Pheo looks at his opponents and spots the girl he looked over at while in the stands.

Pheo: Nice to meet you... And who are all these other lovely ladies?

Harriet nudges Pheo in the side and he chuckles nervously.

Olean: I'm Oleander Nerium just call me Neri or Olean...

Illu: I am Illu.

Sarah: And I am Sarah nice to meetcha.

Sarah walks up to Pheo and extends her hand towards him.

Pheo: I would love to shake your hand but I'd rather not burn someone so pleasant.

Pheo raises his hand up to show her his hand is steaming.

Petra: Ooh a fire type huh?

The stage behind Pheo gets selected as a volcanic stage and Pheo just smiles and his opponents get a dense forest.

Mr. Oobleck: The highly unorthodox match shall begin in... NOW!

Illu immediately begins shooting at Pheo with her assault rifle but he just raises his hand towards the bullets catching the molten metal they have become he turns his hand around and lets it drip off his hand.

Petra: Well then he's a bad choice for you!

Petra charges at Pheo with her longsword and he draws his sword and immediately parries an overhead strike before she quickly spins around and kicks him in the face causing him to lose his balance she looks at the screen that displays Aura readings to get a feel for how strong he is but the aura reading just keeps rising higher and higher glitching out the screen.

Petra: But... What?

Pheo: My aura is linked to my semblance in an interesting way so you can't rely on the screen.

Pheo smiles cockily as he begins to charge her but his shirt and pants begin to feel stiff and rocky he looks down to see his clothing has turned into stone he looks up at her with an eyebrow raised.

Pheo: Thats quite the semblance you have there... However!

Pheo Violently bursts into flames as his hoodie and pants melt off of him everyone in the crowd gasps before realizing he is wearing armor underneath that shines brightly as fiery orange wings erupt from his back.

Petra: Neri! operation nightshade.

Olean: Got it!

Pheo looks over to see Olean throwing a knife at Nick he dodges it but it scrapes his cheek he feels his face then stiffens up dropping to the ground. He then looks over at Xan to see her swinging her swords around as if she was attacking something unseen. And Harriet is doing just fine jumping all over the place swapping between her rifle and pistols regularly as she shoots at Sarah who is expertly dodging spastically and getting closer and closer to her.

Petra: How did your team ever get on the too dangerous list? That dolt in the suit went down immediately and that girl in the red dress cant see through simple illusions.

Pheo: Everyone seems to be equally lethal in your team.

Petra smiles with pride as she watches Xan dance around swinging her swords and becoming faster randomly.

Pheo: I'm the reason my team was put on that too dangerous list.

Petra throws her sword at Pheo but he just sidesteps it and grabs the chain attached to it melts instantly before Harriet lands right next to him after jumping all around the place.

Harriet: That Sarah is really annoying.

Pheo: I like her she seems pretty cool.

Harriet twitches right after he says this which grabs Pheo's attention he slightly squints at her and she begins to look nervous.

Pheo: You're jealous!

Harriet: Quick... Wait, what?

Pheo smiles at her before he smashes her in the stomach with the pommel of his sword and she drops to the ground.

Pheo: Ah... Shit. Your not an illusion I definitely hit something there... Sorry, Harriet.

Pheo looks down at Harriet on the ground then blinks as a purple mist surrounds her and turns into Sarah.

Mr. Port: Sarah Shifter has been eliminated. And with a single strike how thrilling!

Pheo: Ooh nice semblance!

Pheo looks around to see Harriet talking to a tree off on the other side of the arena. Pheo looks up at the Aura board to see that Sarah is out for the count as well as Xan and Nick. He looks back to the three ladies that stand before him ready to team up on him.

Pheo: This is almost fair!

Olean: Should I use my most potent paralyzing agent against him?

Petra: Of course.

Pheo suddenly feels a cut on his cheek it disappears immediately then he looks around.

Pheo: Damn you guys... Gals got me in an Illusion... I assume its Illu who has that ability.

Petra: Good luck figuring out who's where?

Petra seems to multiply before him along with her team they all stand around waiting for him to move.

Pheo: So I assume you tried to poison me right? Well, im pretty sure that stuff got burnt out of my body instantly.

Olean: I noticed that right when my poison evaporated but that just means we have to do it the old fashioned way.

Pheo begins to feel several impacts around his body knocking him back towards the volcanic zone he swings his sword at random to try and graze somebody. But when that doesn't work he reaches for his gun but can't find it as he gets hit in the chin knocking him to the ground.

Petra: I kind of feel bad for having you use your most powerful illusions on him, poor guy.

Pheo heats up tremendously and the ground beneath him turns into magma and he seeps into it.

Petra: What the hell!

A pillar of flames erupt from the ground reaching the sky incredibly quick as Pheo stands up out of the magma his wings growing twice as large and the Aura reading screen just crashes.

Pheo: I'll try extra hard to not melt your pretty faces off.

His eyes glow bright white before turning deep blue out of nowhere and the flames around him turn into a goopy blue substance that radiates an intense amount of heat Pheo looks at his hands to see the goopy stuff dripping off of him.

Pheo: Ookay then... This can't be good.

Pheo runs his fingers through the substance and his eyes widen with shock.

Phe: I FORFEIT!

Petra: What why?

Pheo: Im dripping plasma! This can NOT be healthy.

The illusions stop affecting him and he looks up at the three of team POIS staring at him nervously as he is still dripping plasma.

Pheo: Come on... Stop dripping.

Mr. Oobleck: Harriet has been deemed be unable to fight any longer and Pheo has forfeited. Team POIS wins!

Petra: Winning like this is kind of disappointing.

Pheo: Well would you rather live and win or get killed by Plasma... That I didn't know I could create.

The plasma dripping off of pheo begins to dissipate as his eyes stop glowing.

Petra: Hmm, How about my team buys your team lunch?

Pheo: That would probably make me feel better.

They leave the stage and exchange scroll numbers before pheo runs off to the shuttles to get back to Beacon.

Exchanging deadly blows with G.red as his stamina was draining as well as mana for preparing for his trump card.

[A/N: No he is not going on Jojo's path. But there will be talk no Jutsu ]

her speed was increasing but she has fixed techniques more like she was only dependent on her brute strength.

Feng Bujue continued to move forward. The scary encounter from before did not affect him at all; he powered on like usual, feeling no extra pressure. It did not take him long to reach the end of the tunnel, to a cramped and damp underground cellar.
There was a jail door inside the cellar, which was nothing surprising. In olden times, the cellars of these types of large houses were normally used as a jail, and now it was used as a place to store a coffin before its burial. The floor and walls were carefully covered with a copper layer. The iron jail door was surprisingly heavy. As it swung open, the chain would create a sharp creaking sound. There was a coffin sitting in the middle of the room. Standing a few steps away from it, he shone his flashlight on it. The coffin lid was not nailed shut. In fact, the coffin was not even fully closed.
Feng Bujue walked through the door, but he did not hurry to open the coffin. Instead, he used his flashlight to shine around the room. He did come up with something. On one of the walls, he found another stanza to The Haunted Palace, and this time, it was written in blood.
But evil things, in robes of sorrow,
Assailed the monarch's high estate;
Ah, let us mourn! For never morrow
Shall dawn upon him, desolate!
And round about his home, the glory
That blushed and bloomed

 "Hmm… It's the fifth stanza, it seems," Feng Bujue mumbled after reading it.
The system audio came soon after, "Side quest updated."
And the quest detail became "Find all six The Haunted Palace. Current Progress: 3/6".
Feng Bujue walked over to the coffin. Holding the flashlight in one hand and his other gripping into a fist, like knocking on a door, he tapped on the coffin lid three times. "Hey, Miss Madeline, are you there?"
It was unclear where the man had gotten that name.

As time moved on, Invincible Champion's Terror Points grew to fifteen percent and stabilized around that number. The reason for his panic was not because he ran into an actual monster but because, after searching around for a while, he could not find a way to leave the second floor.
Each corridor, each room, the paintings, lamps, and decorations looked so unfamiliar yet familiar at the same time.
The building showed spatial anomalies because it was much bigger inside compared to how it looked from the outside. The length of the corridor seemed to change at any minute as well. When he went down the corridor, counting the number of the doors, he would get a different result every time. So far, Invincible Champion had not reached the end of any corridors. Whenever he thought that he had reached the end, there would be a new corner or a junction.
The exhaustion to Stamina Points when walking was negligible. Only when the player was walking for a long time would the deduction be noticeable. This was different from real life. If you had someone walk barefooted for just twenty minutes, he would feel tired already; forty minutes, and his legs would feel pain; more than one hour, and he would have to pause and rest. Of course, in this case, the person used as an example was a normal man, not a professional athlete.
This kind of tiredness was accumulative, and the longer it gathered, the more obvious it became. Corroded by fear, the reaction became conspicuous in Invincible Champion. When he saw his Stamina Points lowering at an observable speed, he did not stop to think calmly but chose to increase his speed.
He was not exploring but running. There was a feeling that if he did not do something soon, he would not only be trapped there, but also once his Stamina had lowered to a certain point, something in the dark would catch up to him.
"Huh… Huh…" Invincible Champion's breathing became heavy. He looked at the game menu. He still had one thousand Stamina Points, and he was not running but speed walking; his body should not have reacted that way. He stopped moving and placed his hands on his knees to stop the heavy breathing. He swallowed. At that moment, he suddenly realized that there was something off with his stomach, but he had a hard time telling what it was.
"What's going on?" Invincible Champion mumbled softly to himself. Having a monologue could help lower the sense of fear and help one to focus.
Suddenly, he caught something out of the corner of his eye. He turned around and was shocked to realize that there was a mirror next to him, a rectangular mirror that was two meters tall and embedded into the wall. The mirror had a carved wooden frame, which was simple but exquisite.
"This is weird. Was this thing here earlier?" He could not help but ask, and confusion colored his face.
By then, Invincible Champion had been focusing his eyes on the way forward, his eyes targeting the end of the corridor. He stopped counting the doors on the side and naturally would not pay attention to decorations like paintings, lamps, and statues. But the corridor he was in was not wide, and this was the first time that something like a mirror had shown up, a large one at that. There was no reason for him to miss it.
When Invincible Champion noticed the mirror, he was facing it from his side. Currently, he was bent over with his hands on his knees. However, once he shifted his focus to the mirror, he stood up straight and turned to face it. Once he did, he also collapsed from the shock.
The reflection in the mirror looked like the real Invincible Champion, but the reflection had his stomach exposed to the wind. There was no shirt or skin covering that part of his body, and he saw a mess of intestines instead.
Invincible Champion sucked in a cold breath, and his face was blanched. He staggered backward, and his back knocked into the other wall. His eyes widened, and his breath stopped for almost ten seconds.
"Illu… This has to be an illusion…" After he regained some semblance of calmness, he gritted his teeth and walked back to stand before the window. "Who is it trying to scare? It's just an X-ray so to speak."
Even though he said that, the Terror Points would not lie. He was still afraid, but people reacted differently to fear, and one such reaction was anger.
Invincible Champion's gaze moved involuntarily to his stomach. He could see that his intestines were moving, but once he looked closer, he caught some strange details.
The more he looked at those intestines, the stranger he felt. They looked… like many intersecting corridors!
His neck was frozen solid, and two seconds later, he howled angrily as a kick landed on the mirror, shattering it into pieces. Then, he turned and walked away.
But once he turned around, he was greeted by many identical mirrors down the corridor. All the room doors had disappeared, and in their places were the mirrors.
"Ahhh!" Brother Invincible screamed and blindly charged forward. He had no idea whether he was hallucinating or had triggered an actual change to the house, but the fear and danger that he felt were real. He did not want to stay inside this corridor one second longer.
With a crash, a human shape broke through the glass window and careened down from the second floor of the building.
The moment he tumbled through the wind, Invincible Champion was fully unprepared. One second earlier, he had still been running down the corridor. He remembered that the road ahead was still long, but the next second came the acute pain of glass shards cutting through his skin. He rammed through something, and the next thing he knew, the ground underneath his feet disappeared.
The short second before death claimed him, he caught sight of the house from outside.
Moss grew all over the stone walls, the dead trees that surrounded the house, and the large and rippling black reflection in the water. The air of danger and death seeped out of the water, walls, and deep within the house. Darkness consumed the space between the material and spirit worlds.
In the shapeless silence, the champion fell into the pond by the house. The heavy water swallowed him fully. Air bubbles escaped from his throat, but it nary made a ripple. The large house was like a silent observer, spectating the loss of another young life.
The last thing that was reflected in the eyes of this professional player… was the blood moon that was wearily sinking behind the horizon.

"Team Message: Invincible Champion has died. A plot item has been transferred."
When the system audio appeared, both Wang Tanzhi and Long Aomin were stunned.
"What the hell? A level fifteen professional player died just like that‽" Wang Tanzhi gasped. He opened the game menu to double check the information. As the system stated, the player name for Invincible Champion was grayed out, and the original 'Surviving' status had changed to 'Dead'.
By then, the two had looked through many rooms, but they could not find any concrete evidence. Other than the few times when they came across weak points in the floor and traps, they had nothing.
"If we split up, we would have died from the traps that we encountered," Long Aomin said before adding, "I wonder if Brother Feng will run into any danger since he's working alone."
"If it's Brother Jue… you don't need to worry. Since he suggested we split up, he will have considered the risk already," Wang Tanzhi said. "By the way, I glanced through the game manual when I was waiting for Brother Jue to come online, and it said that should a player die in game, then the items that he possessed will randomly appear next to one of his teammates."
Long Aomin had some experience in Team Mode, so he concurred. "Yes, I know that. Let's look around us then."
The two-started searching, but although they did not find the letter, they did find a new stanza of the poem on the floor, covered by a pile of trash.

Madam Angabhut stood there in a calm and composed manner as the Rotten Brains scrambled to their feet. By now, the trees had stopped hurling their fruits. Aurelia would never forget the first impression she had on her on the first day of her school. 
It was the first day at Little Bees High School. The school had arranged a magic show for the welcome of the new kids. She had clapped her hands in glee when she saw the cards change their number of diamonds and spades.
"That's not magic," Madam Angabhut had stood beside her with a stern look, her hand clasped tightly behind her, "It's an illusion."
Illu-what? She had flapped her eyelashes, hoping that it would catch her attention and that she would explain what she had said. But she never glanced back at her. And she never took any of there classes until the third grade. Even if she took that handful of classes, she seemed to ignore her all the time.
"I thought I asked you something," her calm voice was enough to send shivers down the boys' spines, "After all, the trees would never hurl their fruits even if someone waved their wands meticulously." She darted a look at Aurelia, making her purse her lips. Then, she glanced at the boys.
Madam Angabhut was wearing a blue dress robe over a white underdress. She pulled out something from within them. Aurelia feared that it could be her wand. But it was not.
"Here, take this," she extended the thing towards her, "I thought that you would need one. And I was not wrong about it." Aurelia took it from her with surprise. It was a thick book, a heavy one with a red leather cover. On it was written in bold golden ink, SPELLS FOR EVERY OCCASION BY Maggie Goo. Her eyes went round. This was considered a rare book, a costly one. She looked at Madam Angabhut. But, as usual, she was ignoring her.
"Don't lie to me," she added with an icy voice. Aurelia felt the glares Tony was darting at her. Since she had used the trees' help to defeat the rotten brains, it was obvious that she was not on the wrong side. It was very hard for someone to make the trees help them. And it was obvious that the rotten brains were in the wrong.
Aurelia turned her attention to the book. Grandpa was supposed to bring her the book when he would go to Espejismo, the city of illusions. And he did... But, he never returned. Aurelia sighed loudly.
"I assumed that you would be at home by now," Aurelia looked up to see Madam Angabhut staring at her with a nonchalant face, "Now that you have the book in your hand that you expected from your Grandpa."
Aurelia widened her eyes. How did she know about it? Perhaps, sensing her surprise, she glanced at the boys, "I want an explanation. Head back to your homes. I will be there by evening."
The Rotten Brains hurriedly hopped on their bicycles and paddled away shivering in fear. Aurelia felt her lips parted and a crease formed on her forehead. Madam Angabhut looked at her and said, "You must hurry home, Miss Swan. I expect great things from you and so did your Grandpa."
"How?" it came out in a whisper, "How did you know my Grandpa?"
"Since when are the teachers answerable to the students?" Madam Angabhut stared at her face, "I must leave. I have to visit the boys."
She hurriedly walked towards the car, her dress robe fluttering in the wind. Aurelia stared at her retreating figure. Her eyes were filled with confusion. She could know who her Grandpa was. But how she knew that the book was what she anticipated from Grandpa. Already shaken, Aurelia decided to go back since her work was done. She would rather focus on her practice for the event. But for now, she had to take her mind off from the events from earlier. She reached for her phone inside her backpack. The screen lit up. She attached the earphones and hopped on her bicycle. a soothing melody filled her ears, an easy distraction.

Gusts of wind got upset with the weather today...

By the time, the song reached its final note, Aurelia had reached the foot of the hillock of Prahelika. She hopped off the bicycle and sighed. It was broad daylight. But the canopies of the jungles were eerily quiet. She led the bicycle to the shed slowly. Only the rustling of leaves and cracking of dried twigs could be heard under her feet. She securely locked the bicycle and this time, she put on the Locking Charm. The stillness told her that something was off. She could not hear the chirping of birds or buzzing of insects.
The wind had suddenly stopped rustling among the shady trees. The still silence was creepy enough to send shivers down anyone's spine. Aurelia's rapid breath whispered in her ears as she ascended the seventy-eight stairs to the manor.
The manor was in ghastly stillness, a scene straight out of a horror movie. Aurelia felt her breath quicken as her steps slow down. The air stunk of spells and charms. Magical energy was surging through the atmosphere. 
"Aurors are never afraid to fight; even if they are empty-handed," Grandpa had told her once.
Aurelia slowly walked up to the manor. She intended to press the bell. But the door creaked open at her presence. Her breath hitched, fearing something worse had happened.

"Shhh, my darling, shhh.." A woman whispered. Stroking the head of a newly born angel. 
"You will be powerful, my little Dea..." 
Placing the new-born down onto the frozen step of an orphanage, the woman hums a song.
"Hush, little baby please don't cry. Mummy's going to always stay in your heart.."
"Googa ga.." The child mumbles off, closing their eyes and finally falling into a deep sleep.
"Goodbye, little one.." 
The woman places a letter next to the sleeping child, with bold words saying.. 
Dea.

[Present]
"Hey Dea! Come fly with us!" A boy yelled, waking Dea up from her daydreaming.
"Shush, dude, you know she can't!" Another boy cried.
Opening her eyes, Dea sits up from the floor to look at the kids in the sky..
'Lucky..' She bitterly thought.
Yes. These kids are lucky.
They are lucky enough to be born who they are. Lucky enough to have enough power to fuel flight, and already at their age too.
"You know, they're just trying to provoke you.." A voice says, seeing how hard Dea clenches her fist.
"Yes.. I know, and it's working." Dea responded back, looking at her palm which was now bloodied from her nails.
"It's not your fault being born a Seraphim, Dea.." Micheal declared.
"..."
"Anyway, Ms. Perine told me to tell you that she needs 10 carrots from the market... By 5pm…" He regretfully said.
"Alright," she responded.
'Not like I have a choice,' Dea tells herself.
At that moment, Michael handed over the 12 silver coins which were just enough for the carrots but never enough to get decent beds.. 
Of course, they could get decent beds, only if the old hags who run this place didn't hoard all the coins for themselves.
Standing up, Dea took the coins and brushed off all the dirt that somehow managed to go on her.
Once the coins were out of the hands of the little angel, he ran off.
"Gotta go! I need to do the laundry, cya!" He shouted, getting further and further away.
"Cya.." She whispered.. Not like he could hear her anyway.

After 5 long painful minutes trying to find her boots, she finally set off for the market.
An hour. That's all she had to get to market and get back with 10 fresh carrots. 
Obviously, that was an impossible task. Only one woman would ever make Dea do this..
Ever since Dea arrived at the footsteps of the orphanage, Ms. Perine resented her for being another mouth to feed.
Luckily, Dea found a shortcut a little while ago which would hopefully let her get home within 20 minutes from the market. 
 40 minutes to get to the market and back, and the 10 that it took to actually get the carrots, she could do it and still have 5 minutes to spare.
'Better get going, or there will be no supper..' She urged herself.
As she walked down the dirt path, she looked for a broken sign hanging off a pole.
'There it is!' She said as she finally found the sign.
Skipping over towards her secret shortcut, she ducked underneath the broken metal and pushed through the thorny bush to make her way into the cave like passage made by the trees.
'Weird.." She thought.
There was a different vibe then what she felt last time. It felt uncomfortable but familiar at the same time.
'I'm sure it's nothing,' she exclaims.
Walking on through the tunnel, she notices something else.
There is no life.
She can no longer hear the birds chirping or the faint sound of a deer running off.
Thinking about it all, she starts to freak out.
"Calm down, it's okay… They just went into hiding or something.." She whispers.
Snap.
"EEK!" She screams at the sudden sound.
'Oh, heh, just stepped on a twig.. Nothing else.." She coughs.
As she walks further through the tunnel, she starts to walk faster, suddenly she is running.
"Dea...." A faint voice hums.
"Come…To…Me.." It insists.
"NO! GO AWAY!"
Now, Dea runs at full speed, urging herself to go fast and faster.
She doesn't want to be in this creepy tunnel ever again, it was a terrible idea.
A light.
'Finally!' Dea pants. 
She finally sees the exit of the tunnel, reaching out for it, she stumbles into the sunlight.
Falling onto the ground, she decides to wait a few minutes to catch her breath.
Once she's done, she gets up to see a few market stands in the distance. 
'Good. I most likely have at least 10 minutes to spare.' She sighs, she couldn't afford to be late again.
Rushing off to the market stand, she finally reaches her destination in roughly 7 minutes.
"Time for the real struggle," she murmurs.

After about 13 minutes of trying to convince the seller to give her 10 carrots for 12 silver, she finally succeeds and begins to make her journey back home. 
Still having 25 more minutes left, because of how fast she travelled before, she contemplates whether or not to go back into the tunnel.
Even though it was creepy and she nearly fainted, something pulls her towards that place.
'Seeing as how I made it to the market pretty fast… I guess I could risk it to get back in time'
Heading back towards where the earie feeling is, she tells herself not to worry and that it's just her imagination.
'Jeez.' She thought.
Looking at the exit of the tunnel, she didn't even notice before but there were strange markings.
"What type of language is that.." She questions.
"Please…..Dea….Come…." The same voice from before pleads.
"I.. I don't know.. Why should I..?" Dea's voice says shakily.
"I..I can help you…" It says.
"How? My life is a mess." She snorts.
"I will give you power, come closer.." The voice now says much more clear than before.
Although this whole thing is scary, she can't help but take a step forwards into the tunnel.
"Alright.." Dea says.
Walking further in, Dea begins to wonder how much longer she will need to walk.
"Stop, go right…" The voice orders.
Following the voice, Dea turns right, only to find it is blocked by tall trees.
"I can't." Dea spits.
"You can, it is an illu…."
"An illusion?" Dea asks, not being able to fully understand the last part.
"Yes…." The voice responds.
Following the voice's instructions, she closes her eyes and reaches out towards the trees.
'Eh?' Surprised to feel nothing there, she opens her eyes.
"AH!" As she opened her eyes, she finds that her hand is no longer there.
Jumping back from the trick, she brings her hand back to her body and hugs it.
Thankfully, her hand is intact.
'It is an illusion…' She says, her voice full of awe.
Full of confidence, Dea walks in a straight line towards the illusions.
bzzzZZZZ.
A white light flashes before her eyes, and a buzzing noise blocks her ears, preventing her to see and hear.
"Uhh, AHH!" She suddenly screams as she loses her footing and manages to trip over.
Apparently she was standing on the top of a hill, because in that moment, she rolls down the large hill and hits her head against a rock that was waiting for her at the bottom of the slide.
"Don't worry… Child… You are safe…" The voice mumbles off.
"I…"
Dea tries to say something but her she starts to become unconscious.

"You know... it's not nice to stalk pretty girls like me? Right?" I turned around to face her...
"You know... pretty girls like you...should already be at home right?" Whoever he or she is muttered.
I turned around to see a large body of shadows.. of a group of men... all armed and very intimidating...
"So this is the men that's going to welcome me? You know I would have expected some sort of gift. You know like flowers?" I giggled at her.
"You mean flowers. FOR YOUR GRAVE!" A blast of magic energy was aimed at me... I made haste and dodge.. it as I turn around and behind me. I am surrounded in this tight little alleyway...
Damn it! These people are not going to leave me alone are they... they are going to gangbang me so hard... if I'm gonna have a chance in trying to bet them.. maybe I'll make them upset... so they'll do something reckless... I have to act like I'm not afraid...
"You know.." I turned to the man in front of me. "My feminine friend, named Greg said that you guys fight so badly that you guys were such a good light workout... like I'd be afraid of a bunch of idiots.. can't even beat one man."

"And you have bad aim. Sticks and stones lady. I've taken bigger trash talk from other people but let's just say you didn't HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!" I dashed forward in front of her. I'll do a little fake-out! As we go faced to face... "FOG!" I shouted casting a smoke of fog in the dark alleyway. As they all become immobilized. I made my way and teleported.

"Looks like the angel fell down the ground wouldn't you agree?" The girl who looked like me giggled.

"Magic blast!" I shouted shooting it to her direction. She yawned casting her shield in front of her.. as the beam of magic hit her. It had damage.. not even a scratch to her magic shield...

As I start to continue to run.. the group of men... carrying their weapons approach me... they are that imposter's henchmen... ugh.. they are so uglies... ecck.. 
They stood there.. blocking the way... well no need to deal with them... I have my pendant.. with me anyway. Not really into to them but desperate times call for desperate measures as they said.
I pressed my heart-shaped ruby pendant.. "Oh dear boys.. would you help a lady out?" I said charmingly approaching them. If I charm them maybe they have a car or something I can use.. or I can use them as meat shield for my enemies...
I walked seductively strutting towards them... Hmm.. that's odd.. they aren't moving a muscle..
They remained emotionless.. blocking my way... shouldn't my pendant have made them lovey-dovey and desperate to be with me already? Why are they just standing there?
As I touched one of them... POOF. The group of men faded away like a bubble on air... IT'S AN ILLU- "Surprise!" I turned around to see the other me with a taser...
BZZZT! The taser did its work making me go down to the ground.. paralyze.. and unable to move... damn it.. my legs...
"Who knew you would put up this much of a fight and here I thought you were just a little pig in heat.." She stepped on my back "UGH." I galloped in pain as her heels dig deep on my back. "WHO KNEW... You pathetic. LITTLE pig in heat would give me such a problem."
She continued stepping on my back.. with her heels digging even deeper into my skin.. I clenched and flinched at the pain... as she continued to kick my body.
"Well... I guess now you know your place... pathetic pigs like you.. need to be put in the ground.. LIKE WHERE THEY BELONG." She grabbed my face bringing it closer to her face. "Now that's a pathetic face you are making.. what happened to that spunk now? You're making me feel bad in killing you.. you know? How about! I have your body go inside out! OR I'LL HAVE A GROUP OF MEN VIOLATE YOU FIRST BEFORE I KILL YOU? WOULDN'T THAT BE FUN?"
I gave her a big bright smile. "You have no originality. The only pig here is FUCKING you." I BASHED my head to her head.
"TELEPORT!" I teleported away from the area... with the magic I had left... I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG SHE'LL TAKE TO GO HERE..BUT DAMN IT! 
"DAMN IT!" I shouted grabbing my phone... I went ahead and called Louie! THEY NEED TO KNOW! THEY BETTER PICK UP!"
COME ON, COME ON! ANSWER! I grabbed an emergency call.

RING RING RING
"Oh who's that calling you Grace?" One of the people asked in the dinner asked me.
"Oh.. I'm not sure.. let me check I- Huh? Sungah? Why is she calling me?"
"Hmm.. maybe she got stood out again from a date or something?" Greg suggested giggling.
"Hm.. I guess if that's just that.. I'll just call her later..." I said to them.
"Hmmm what if it's an emergency?" One of the workers suggested. "You should just answer.."
"Ya.. I'll just go ahead and answer it.." I said to them answering her call.
"Hello?" I said to the phone
"Oh hi! Ms. Baltazar. I just wanted to say that I'll be returning there at the restaurant if you guys are still there that is?"
"Yes we are there still... we'll wait for you.." I answered.
"Alright then!" Sungah said cheerfully. "I'll go ahead and- MMH!" I hear a muffled sound on the mic.
"What was that? Is there a situation there or something Sungah?" I asked her.
"Oh.. I just dealt with someone that's all.. although I found out who was impersonating as me! I have them tied up here right now! I'll go ahead and go there now okay?! See you later!" She giggled hanging up.
Alright then... I guess we'll finally know who's the one that pretended to be her... I hope nothing bad happened to her though.. that would be bad...

Grace knows she hates him and yet she still can't help falling in love with him. Not only is he, her high school crush, he is also her rival CEO. The guys agreed not to say anything to Aiden but, they did call and tell Ethan and Eddie, who showed up at her house and joined them for dinner. 

"She's not gonna tell him." Eddie shook his head. "Hell, she probably didn't even ask him if he remembered anything!" 

"Yeah, sis, Emily started out as this sweet, loving, fragile, little woman." Ethan said, "She tricked him into marrying her and she's been a total bitch ever since Gennie was born." 

"Tricked?" Katie frowned, looking from one man to the next. 

"Gennie isn't his daughter." Gage sighed. "I had a DNA test done and had Emily investigated. I thought it was strange that she kept insisting that her family didn't like him when she would go visit her parents every weekend. I thought maybe she was cheating and leaving their daughter with her folks but..." He shook his head. "Her first stop was always her parents and they always asked where Aiden was. She always lied. He's away on business. He's having a boys weekend. He's visiting some friends from Olivewood. She would take Gennie to a park or someplace and a man would join her. Always the same man. They would hold hands and he would hold Gennie or watch her play. He referred to himself as 'Daddy'. His name is Mark Gimmel. He's got a booming tech business in Boston but, he also has a wife and four kids. Kids in high school and college now. Emily was his secretary and longtime mistress but, she quit when she found out she was pregnant and duped Aiden into a one night stand to think it was his because Mark said he couldn't divorce his wife without losing everything. Mark has been blowing her off every other weekend for the last few years so she's been clinging hard to Aiden on those weekends and giving him a hard time about drowning in your memory. I recently found out that Mark's got another mistress right there in Boston and she gave birth to twin boys about a month ago. He's planning to leave his wife for this one though. He's got girls with his wife too. These are his only boys and her family is well connected so, keeping her as a plaything on the side isn't an option." 

"And you haven't shared this information with Aiden? "Katie frowned. 

Ryan huffed. "He tells us to mind our own business. I hate how she tears him down and he just takes it!" 

Katie frowned, thoughtfully. Aiden wasn't the type to 'just take' anything. She inhaled sharply. "He already knows." 

"What?" They all stated incredulously. 

"He already knows. That's why he just takes it." She breathed out. "He's indifferent to her and her behavior because he knows she just used him to cover up her indiscretion with her boss." She sighed. "Oh, come on guys! You know Big A! He's a marine for God's sake! He goes on instinct. No matter how depressed and sad he is, he won't ignore his instinct. He married her and lets everybody think Gennie is his because he wants to. What's his motive behind that?" 

The boys all looked puzzled and then it was like a light bulb went on with Gage. "Shit! They're a distraction!" 

"But why?" Ethan asked. "What is he distracting himself from?" 

"Me." She said, "The only time he gets wasted is when the memory is too strong to ignore, right? Most of the time he has them around to distract him. Emily's bitching at him and Gennie's neediness, as a child are all things that keep his mind off me being gone." 

"Fuck!" Collin groaned. "Why the hell didn't I see that?!" 

"Too close to it, maybe?" She wiped a hand down her face. "Look... that's not important. What's important is how you deal with him and her going forward. She's going to be pissed when she finds out what Mark has planned so, be alert and always have A's back." 

After they were gone, she made a few calls of her own in an effort to have Aiden's back. 

"I know it's very late, my apologies. You know I wouldn't call if I were not concerned with something." 

"What is wrong, Aryana?" The gruff male voice on the other end asked and she could hear the bed creaking as he sat up. She could also hear his wife asking what was wrong as well. 

"It's Aiden. He's...not as happy as I'd hoped or thought. He's...we had to take him home completely wasted about a week ago...his wife recognized me. The boys just popped up at my home out of nowhere. Gage is an excellent P. I. He's had Emily investigated. Gennie isn't his. I think he knows a-and he's using her as a distraction but me being here isn't he- helping..." 

"Ari...calm down!" He responded, as she began to stammer. "Don't worry about it. Aiden is strong. In mind and body. He will get through this. Just be prepared when it's your turn to deal with the fallout." 

"Fallout?" She practiced her breathing. 

"Yes. Every action we take has a consequence. Good or bad. You know that better than anyone. Your life has been hard...filled with heartache and pain but, it doesn't have to continue that way. Do not stress over this. He's seen you, yes?" 

"Yes." 

"Let me speak with her, my love," She heard her other mentor's voice and was somewhat soothed. "Ari joon, no more hiding. Be you. Not the professor, not Ari Quinn but you. Kaitlynn. Let them all see you. It will all work out in the end. You will see." 

"Yes ma'am." Katie sighed and then ended the call. She had kept them up long enough and wanted to rest herself. Tomorrow would be a long day but, she could not rest. She stayed up most of the night grading papers and reviewing lesson plans. She even went down to the pub when her cousins called to see if she could drive the van and wouldn't you know it...She was driving Aiden home again. 

"Brody, you drive." She said, "I need a little chat with this guy here." She stated as Brody and Sean climbed into the front of the van and she in the back. 

Aiden stared at her. 

"Dude...you gotta stop doing this to yourself." She said, "It's not healthy for you or your family." 

"You left me." He said, tears pooling in his bloodshot red eyes. "I know it's not you *hiccup*. You're an illu-" he frowned not being able to remember the word he wanted to use, he was so sloppy drunk. "Ill-u-sion!" He chuckled when he got it out, "You're not real. You're not my Kaitlynn." He became a sobbing mess. "My Kaitlynn is gone!" He wailed. 

"Oh dear God!" Emily paled, when she came out to the van. 

Katie scowled at her. "Indeed. Go inside and get the couch ready. I'm staying with him this time. He's too plastered to leave by himself." 

"I-I'll be home. N-no need for you to stay!" She panicked. 

"Look, he's probably got alcohol poisoning." Sean said, "If my cos, says she's staying. She's staying. We ain't got the time for your Mickey Mouse games, lady." He turned to Ari and he and Brody took Aiden's dead weight. "Need us to bring you anything, cuzzo?" 

Katie shook her head. "Nah. I'm not sleeping tonight. He isn't showing signs of poisoning but, I have to keep watch over him...make sure he doesn't do anything else stupid." 

Brody chuckled and shook his head. "Call if you need me." She waited until the door was closed before turning on Emily who was standing there wringing her hands and staring fearfully at her husband. 

Aiden was passed out on the couch in his sweats and a long sleeved white tee shirt. The guys had removed his shoes and propped him up on pillows. On the floor next to his head was a trash can lined with plastic grocery bags. 

"I need you to get some things..." Katie stated without looking at her. She rattled off a list of things Emily should have had in her kitchen and had her blend it all up. She then had her pour it in an empty jug and chill it. "In an hour, I am going to wake him up and make him drink a glass full of that but, for now, he needs ice water and headache medicine or he's going to be grumpier than an old bear when I give him the first dose of this stuff." 

Emily ran to the kitchen cabinet and brought her a bottle of Tylenol Migraine. Katie arched a brow and the other woman blushed. "He usually down a few of those when he wakes up after a night like this." She went back to the refrigerator and brought a bottle of cold water. 

Katie took it and lay it against Aiden's neck while stroking his cheek and whispering. "Come on Big A... wake up for me. You need to drink this water." 

Aiden's eyes fluttered open and he stared out at her. She sat with her right hip on the edge of the couch near his stomach. He reached out and tugged on her braid. "Real?" He was looking past her at Emily. 

Emily didn't answer his question, "Please drink the water Aiden. I don't want you to get sick." 

He looked at Katie who opened the bottle and held it to his mouth. "Come on, Big guy. Take a sip for me." Katie murmured, stroking his cheek as she held the bottle to his mouth. He continued to hold her braid in his hand as he stared at her but, her drank the water and took the pills. "She smiled, gently at him. "That's my Aiden... you need to rest and let those pills do their job. I'll wake you in about an hour for something else...it's nasty. it tastes and smells like old sweaty gym socks but, it works. My grandpa's hangover recipe." 

He grimaced and she chuckled. He had experienced it years ago when Eddie had gotten drunk celebrating too much after exams. He had taken a whiff and gagged. It didn't seem to have that affect on Eddie given that he was wasted out of his mind. 

She chuckled. "Yeah... I know. Uncle Connor sells it by the half gallon to the significant others of his regulars. Seems it's an old Quinn family recipe." 

He looked at her then, and stroked her face with his free hand. "Real?" 

"Yeah, Big Guy." Katie smiled. "I'm real. I'm Katie."

This is the story of a woman that was framed for murder by her childhood bullies and the community she lived in and what happened to her after she got out of prison. 
Kaitlyn Quinn is an ex-con. After sixteen years of being locked away in jail and then prison, she was released with five years of parole to serve in the very town that knowingly convicted her of a crime she didn't commit. How will she get through the stigma of being an ex convict in a town full of people that hate her? How will she ever expose the truth and convince her family that she's innocent?

Part 6:
Picture the sun rising on a beautiful, clear morning. We see it slowly peeking out over the 
horizon. As time passes it becomes more noticeable, the heat increases, the light becomes 
stronger until it is fully visible, a ball of light casting its intense glow over everything. 
The earth awakens each day to this light; plants grow and life is sustained. In much the same 
way, the Son rises in our hearts. We accept him into our lives and he progressively over-
comes the darkness of our old lives, lives without him and full of self. As bits of this dark-
ness are forced away through our increasing knowledge of him, the Son blazes forth, in ever 
greater intensity, into our everyday lives. We become partners with him as we become more 
and more aware of his power in us.
I believe the Bible calls us to this progression of experienced power when it says, 
"Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you" (Ephesians 5:14, NIV). 
We see in this verse a wonderful promise of seeing Jesus Christ work in and through our 
lives and circumstances. When Christ shines on the life of the believer, things happen!
Our focus here is on spiritual power. There are many kinds of power: secular, po-
litical, physical, informational, and even personal. However spiritual power, God's power 
imparted to us by Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, trumps all other power whether it be 
earthly power or other supernatural power. 
More and More
The Son-powered life is Christ, the power of God, living in and through us. However, know-
ing this fact and experiencing the reality of that relationship are two different things. The 
Son-powered life begins at the moment of spiritual birth and develops as we cultivate ourrelationship with Christ. We learn to trust Christ daily to live his life in and through us.
As I've spent time studying God's Word, I have found that many Scripture verses re-
late to one another even though they may be from different places in the Bible (this is one of 
the key principles of the Sonburst diagrams). One verse may tell us one thing and another 
verse amplifies that thought, principle, or picture of who God is or what he desires for our 
lives. When we actually put these verses together, we can see how God has woven his mes-
sage throughout the Bible. Here are several verses that illustrate this principle, particularly 
as it relates to experiencing Jesus Christ as our power.
In the Old Testament we read:
Lord … may those who love you rise like the sun in all its power!
 —Judges 5:31
"But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing 
in his wings. And you will go free." 
 —Malachi 4:2
And then Paul tells us in the New Testament:
I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. I did this so you would trust not in 
human wisdom but in the power of God.
 —1 Corinthians 2:4–5
But to those called by God to salvation … Christ is the power of God and the 
wisdom of God.
 —1 Corinthians 1:24
In these verses, we see a demonstration of God's power being brought to those that 
love him. As an added bonus, we also experience healing and freedom and salvation and 
wisdom. This is Son Power actively working in us and through us!
Paul tells us that this power, from God's unlimited resources, begins internally. A 
work must be done on the inside of us in order for this power to be properly operational. 
Our inner person must be strengthened by the Holy Spirit, so Christ can more fully possess 
our hearts and lives as we trust in him to do so. In this way, the roots of our spirit beings 
can grow deeply into the soil of God's love. As this happens, God can bring to perfection in 
us, the "fullness and power that comes from God." 
When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creatorof everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimit-
ed resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then 
Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will 
grow down into God's love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to 
understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how 
deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to 
understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and 
power that comes from God.
 —Ephesians 3:14–19
Therefore, preparing your minds for action, and being sober-minded, set your 
hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus 
Christ.
 —1 Peter 1:13, ESV
As we grow in our relationship with Christ Jesus we experience not only more and 
more of him, but more and more of his love and power and grace in our daily lives.
Less and Less
As we experience more and more of Jesus in our lives, we also can start to happily experi-
ence less and less of self. In the book of John we read these words spoken by John the Bap-
tist, "He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less" (John 3:30). This 
process can take place without us noticing, but eventually we should see evidence of this 
occurring in our lives as we cultivate our relationship with Christ. This is literally the power 
of Christ beginning to permeate our entire life.
The object of our faith is critical. If we trust in the power of self to live the Christian 
life, we will fail. Self is always ultimately powerless. Self relies on the old "try harder self-ef-
fort" model and is intent on meeting the demands of the law through works. We try and 
try to do and be what God wants, but unfortunately, the flesh is incapable of satisfying the 
perfect, exacting demands of the law. However, when Christ is the object of our faith, we 
trust him to live his life in us and we accept his power to achieve it. As we learn to become 
less and less, Jesus Christ becomes more and more. 
Paul wrote to the Colossians, "For you died to this life, and your real life is hid-
den with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:3). As our life becomes more and more "hidden in 
Christ," he takes increasing control. This happens while we progressively focus our attention 
on Jesus and his desires for us. The true ultimate goal for each one of us is to have a life com-
pletely hidden in Christ.Just as the sun rises daily to full strength, our desire as Christians is for the Son to rise in his 
full strength during our daily lives. This can only be accomplished by understanding and 
applying the truths of Scripture to our lives. Only God can command this light to shine out 
of our heart as we learn how to die to the three amigos of Me, Myself, and I. Only then can 
the life of Christ rise in us, bringing forth his power and beauty.
This is in harmony with the spiritual truth that he must become more and more, and 
I must become less and less.
Let's begin with the relationship verse: 
Lord, … may those who love you rise like the sun in all its power! 
 —Judges 5:31
Do you see that key word right in the middle of the verse? Love. It is such a relation-
ship word! We love God … and he loves us as well. And it is because of his love that we have 
the promise that we can rise in power. God also uses his love as a vehicle of change in the 
life of a believer. He loves us, and when we accept his love, it creates in us a desire to knowwho is doing the loving. Wow, the Creator of the universe loves me! This love is what mo-
tivates us to do what God wants us to do. It is cultivated by sowing into our hearts the idea 
that God loves us, and allowing his love to grow into our lives, the new life which Christ has 
given us.
What we learn about our relationship with God leads us to a new revelation about 
what he is and how we are to interact with him:
"But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing 
in his wings. And you will go free."
 —Malachi 4:2
One key principle we learn from this verse is that because of our relationship with 
God, we fear him. But what does it mean to fear God? One of the ways to describe it is to 
say that we become in complete awe of our heavenly Father. We respect and revere who God 
is and his authority over all of creation. 
As we embrace God's authority over us, we also experience freedom. How can this be? 
It is precisely because of Christ's power rising more into our everyday lives, that we are free. 
We embrace Christ in us and God's authority over us, and we experience the freedom that 
God so graciously gives us. Free from the past, free from the law, free to experience all that 
God has for us, free to make a difference in the world. 
This leads us to reflection:
Prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in 
the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the 
world.
 —1 Peter 1:13
Prepare your mind for action and exercise self-control … think about those words for 
a moment! What would happen in your life if you really applied those words to your life? 
Because of your freedom in Christ, you are not only free, but also full of the power of the 
Holy Spirit. Look at the verbs in this verse: prepare, exercise, hope, come, revealed. As you 
fix your mind on the gracious salvation of Jesus Christ you will be empowered to go out and 
do the work God has for you.
And this leads us directly to redemption:Because of that experience, we have even greater confidence in the message pro-
claimed by the prophets. You must pay close attention to what they wrote, for 
their words are like a lamp shining in a dark place—until the Day dawns, and 
Christ the Morning Star [Jesus] shines in your hearts.
 —2 Peter 1:19
This is one of my favorite passages in the Bible because it is filled with potential for 
both this world and the world to come. We pay attention to the Word of God because it tells 
us how to achieve our ultimate goal. We live in a darkened world. When we pay attention to 
the Word of God it provides light in a world that desperately needs it. The sun scatters the 
darkness. 
As Christ the Morning Star rises in our hearts, he scatters the darkness revealing 
what needs to be corrected in our lives. In addition, he imparts his life and empowers us to 
overcome wrongful desires and pursue his goodness. The Morning Star symbolizes hope 
and guidance. The morning star is the brightest star in the sky at dawn. I like to think that 
as Christ, the Morning Star, rises in our hearts, he brings healing to our inner person, 
strengthening us, enlightening us, showing us where we need to conform more with his 
will, and showing us just what it is he wants us to do. Such revelations bring joy and peace 
to us as we bring our lives in conformance with his will. The Son rises in our hearts and 
continues to empower us to not only grow in our relationship with God but to accomplish 
his will.
This brings us full circle to relationship where we in-
crease our love for God and desire to have him rise in our lives 
like the sun, fully powerful and fully effective.
It is important that our hope rests on the gift of grace 
that is brought to us by the revelation of Christ. He will illu-
mine things for us both in this world and the world to come as 
we pay attention to the Son Power at work in us.
