In modern day society, socialists all around the world continue to fight for a tomorrow where capitalism does not exist. Despite Western assumptions, the revolutionary fervor has not, as they would say, "died down". It is true in that the scope of the fervor has indeed shrinked, but to say that it has died down is incorrect. The revolutionary left is out there. It is shrouded by the system that fears it. Our goal as socialists is to see to not just capitalism's demise, but the rise of socialism. However, it has been a long time goal of the left (considered a pipe dream by many) to strike at what is considered the heart of capitalism, the United States. In my opinion, however you receive it, it is not. In this series, I will attempt to list clearly the problems facing the building of a Revolution in the United States, the issues surrounding the carrying out of the Revolution, and how to deal with the problems that shall inevitably arise when dealing with post-Revolution issues, the transformation of society, and the transformation of the economy. All of these issues are complex, and all of them have been given different answers. However, no matter the cost, we all must endeavor to answer these questions. We now not only have the burden of liberating the masses and, as Marx said, have a world to win, but the issue now, as the threats of climate change strengthens its grip, is that we have a world to save. Whatever results of you reading this, I hope you better understand our position.

James was sitting in a cafe doing his homework as he drank his black coffee, running a hand through his hair he finished his homework and lets out a breath as he smiled softly and happily. Happy that we was done with his school work and could just rest now, since his mom and sister were on vacation for a few weeks he had the house all to himself which he was happy about since his mom and sister were loud in the morning and he couldn't sleep in when they were there. James looks out the window as he drinks his coffee and thinks about the book he was writing, he wanted to write a murder/romance novel but he wasn't sure how to start the book or how he wanted to write it so he was going to sit there and think about how he wanted his book to go and hopefully start writing his book. He opened his laptop again and started writing, it was like the minute he started typing all the words came together and he couldn't stop. After a few hours of writing he looked up to see his boyfriend waiting in line to order and he smiled softly before he puts in his earbuds, turned on music and started writing again. The story line was coming together perfectly and he couldn't be prouder of himself for getting this much done. He looked up when he felt someone tap his shoulder and he hummed softly before he takes one of his earbuds out. "Hey my love, what are you writing?" Kai asked softly as he sat down next to James and looked over what his amazing boyfriend wrote, he was really impressed by how much his boyfriend wrote and how good it was. "It's a story i've been wanting to write for sometime now but i just haven't had the time with everything that was going on with me so i thought i would do my homework and then start writing the book. I didn't think that i would write this much though. so i'm really happy about that". James said softly as he leaned his head on Kai's shoulder and saved what he wrote before he shut his laptop lid and puts his earbuds away, looking up at his boyfriend. "Well it's amazing babe, i know people will love the book when it comes out". Kai said softly as he wrapped his arms around James and then took a sip of his iced tea. "Aww, thank you so much baby" James said happily as he kissed Kai's cheek gently and then closed his eyes. "So what have you been doing lately? I see you around school but it's like we don't see each other all that much anymore Kai". James said softly as he kept his eyes closed and smiled when he felt lips on his forehead. "I'm so sorry about that love, my parents have been fighting a lot lately and i've been going home early to help my mom more so my dad doesn't start any fights". Kai said softly and sadly as he looked down at his boyfriend who was looking up at him sadly. "I'm so sorry baby, is there anything i can do to help you or your mom?". James asked softly and cupped Kai's face gently. "Well we can just sit here, chat and hold each other for a while". Kai said softly as he cuddled into his boyfriend more. "That sounds perfect". James said softly and they stayed there just holding each other, kissing each other and being with each other before they both sadly had to go home.

James Perez is a shy and smart kid who lives with his mom and sister in a small house in new york but when Kai Lightheart moves in next door things change for James quickly. He soon finds himself longing to be apart of Kai's life but one day his dreams come true and Kai asks him to hang out with him, but will this be a dream come true or the biggest nightmare to happen to James?

At the crack of dawn, a small figure of a boy can be seen running around one of the training grounds of the Li family Castel where he can be seen panting, catching for his breath, and sweating heavily,
It was Li Jie who had decided earlier to exercise his body as he realized that to be stronger in the upcoming future, he has to keep his physique stronger and flexible.
Li Jie was wondering excitedly about what will he be taught by Mr.Teacher today as his lessons will start from today onwards, will he be taught some amazing sword arts or even better, some kind of supreme cultivation arts,
after all, Mr.Teacher was able to offer him an extremely high leveled bloodline, so it's obvious he will be taught some unknown fabled sword arts of legends which he mused about happily as he was running.

Soon it was time for his lesson, Li Jie before going out was checking on the sword given to him by Mr.Teacher which he was supposed to keep with him at all times,
not understanding what was so special about this sword except for the fact that it has this allure which would make one want to stare at it for a long period of time, 

after staring at the sword for some time he shook his head, kept it tightened around his waist by using the leather belt.
When Li Jie reached inside the training pagoda, he was stunned by the sight of what greeted him, everything was the same, 
except for the many lamps present all around the room and a small table present with a quill and an ink present on it with huge stacks of paper beside it, 
Mr.Teacher can be seen standing smiling at the sight of Li Jie, he motioned him to the table across from him to sit behind the table and to place one of the blank paper on the table to start writing, 
Li Jie wasn't able to fathom Mr. Teacher's directions, he thought he will be learning martial arts, so why were there writing tools present for writing, still Li Jie didn't question and started to do as he was told,
he sat on the mat cross-legged which was placed behind the table and was ready to write on the blank paper, 
it was then that he looked at Mr.Teacher in a questioning expression, Mr.Teacher then nodded to him and took out a parchment from his chest pocket which was rolled, 
when he opened it there were many words written on it row by row from top to bottom except for a blank space left on the topmost side of the parchment, 
but looking closely at it made him realize that the words written on the parchment were all same except for their penmanship which differed, 
none of the words on it looked the same, from what can be understood, all the words seem to be written by different people, 
except for the fact that there was nothing special about the whole parchment which made Li Jie feel weird because he knew anything given to him by Mr.Teacher can never be simple.

"Li Jie from today onwards your training will start, no excuses will be accepted as you must work hard to achieve your goals, here is a parchment on which I made many of the swordsman I have met over the years to write the word sword, you have to start writing from beneath the left corner of the parchment you will not be writing any others that I have not instructed yet to you, lest you wanna court death".

Li Jie was shocked, why would he die just from writing any other word present in the parchment, except for the change in penmanship aren't they all same, thought Li Jie in a troubled expression which made Mr.Teacher chuckle a bit
"You don't have to get worked up over this, just do as I say, by the way, you have to write that word in the same way it is written on the parchment, no matter how long it takes you to write in the same manner".

Li Jie without question started writing, after which he understood that he had to write the word "sword" which was present at the leftmost bottom corner of the parchment, again and again, 
and after some time of writing Li Jie noticed that he wasn't even able to copy properly what was written on the parchment as due to some odd reason he was getting pangs of a headache but he still persisted and tried writing, 
no matter how long it would take for him to write the same or how painful the process was going on for him, he didn't want to disappoint Mr.Teacher, 
seeing Li Jie persisting and writing no matter how heavy-headed or painful it felt for Li Jie, Mr.Teacher felt satisfied looking at his new student, 
who was persisting and performing the task regardless of the discomfort present steadily, while many others in Li Jie's place might have given up then and there, for not being able to persist longer and the most shocking of all was the fact that Li Jie was just Five years old kid.
after a while Li Jie can be seen sweating profusely on his forehead where his veins can be seen popping out, his hand was moving steadily in writing the same word over and over again, but the word written didn't even closely match with the one present on the parchment, by now he had wasted quite a several papers by copying the word in which he was unsuccessful.

Li Jie felt horrible at the fact that he can't even copy a word properly, he felt ashamed to the degree that he didn't even dare to look at Mr.Teacher and ask him for further instructions because the task he got was simple as it looked,
it was just copying of a single word and why the hell was copying a word giving him headaches, without stopping he again took a new paper and started to write the word when he was almost finished writing the word, 
he was suddenly interrupted "That's enough for today, now place down the quill" hearing his master, 
Li Jie suddenly stopped in fright not knowing how to explain his failure, it was then he felt Mr.Teacher's hand on his head which felt like a pat,
it was then Li Jie raised his head and looked at Mr.Teacher who was smiling with a pleased expression, 
"Very well, I am very pleased with your performance, why do you have such a downcast look, you really thought you could copy it in a day hahaha" chucked Mr.Teacher at the boy sitting next to him with a pleasantly surprised but also relieved expression.

Mr.Teacher then briefed him about how the words written in the parchment were not as simple as they looked to be and again with warning he mentioned that he should never try writing the other words, of course, he kept the part about Li Jie's performance to himself as he didn't want Li Jie to complacent.

Li Jie was happy that he hadn't disappointed his master, it was then Mr.Teacher gestured for Li Jie to get up and be ready, which made Li Jie confused but right at the moment when he got up, 
the whole surrounding changed, literally, everything changed except for Mr.Teacher who was still standing beside him and now he found himself to be in the middle of a forest where only trees and various types of plants can be seen everywhere.

Born in a world where bloodlines and talents are everything, from low level to high level. 
Where status determines everything, where strong reigns over the weak based on their bloodline or talent.
Yet Li Jie is the only one in this world with no bloodline, why is heaven so unfair to him only, why does everyone have a bloodline except him, 
why must his fate be so cruel, watch how this story of a young man who had nothing but sword on his mind his love for sword, his yearning for the path of sword so great that even the immortals, the saints, and the gods will come to fear his existence.

If anyone is asking why I never wrote a message or chapter I we'll explain why. 

Remember when I said I live alone and I got hurt then sick. Well at that time I had to skip my class to recover at home but by the time I recovered I had so much work and my deadline was coming up soon, so I studied alone working like a mad man I passed my classes so me and other people get along holiday but because of all that work (big as 2 dictionary books) 

My reason because I was far behind from classes I missed when I was younger so I had to do other classes at the same time but by the time I finished I felt exhausted mentally and physically so on my spare time I was just relaxing my mind and body I have recovered but I was worried what to write so i thought of an idea why don't I just make a new light novel for practice and to write to my hearts content without worrying, but my other thought (but what do I write?) then it hit me I remember a story I was making when I was even younger 
(was on paper) I could write about that, thus that's how I came to a new novel I write and writing as I go on now. 

(Sigh) I'm sorry if you don't believe me but that's the truth. I'm explaining while trying to keep the story short about why the writer (me) and what's happening with my new idea for future updates.

If you're like most people, you find vanilla ice cream quite inoffensive.
You neither love nor hate it — i.e., it doesn't inspire strong feelings in you.
And if you're eating vanilla ice cream, it's unlikely you're raving about it to anyone.
Now I want you to think about Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream.
I bet that ice cream inspires strong feelings in you!
I bet if you had a big bowl of that in front of you, there'd be a huge smile on your face and you'd want to tell anyone who'd listen how good it is.
What's this got to do with writing?
Well, many of us have perfected the art of writing "vanilla ice cream."
Vanilla writing is both technically sound and inoffensive.
Vanilla writing "does the job" in the absence of anything better.
And the truth is, perfecting the art of writing "vanilla" is necessary if you want to earn a living as a writer.
The economic and time constraints imposed on us by our clients, plus our need to invoice quickly (so we can put food on the table), dictates that we need to be able to consistently churn out writing that is technically sound and "does the job."
Vanilla writing pays the bills.
But sometimes, we want to produce writing that really moves people and inspires them to take action.
Sometimes we want our writing to provoke such strong feelings in people, they feel compelled to tell their friends, "Hey! Read this!"
Sometimes, we want to produce the writing equivalent of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
The good news is, there's a way to turn vanilla into chocolate chip cookie dough. You just need time, and a few extra ingredients.
The power of editing
Most people see editing as the process of turning a messy first draft into something that's publishable. And yes, editing does do that.
But to me, "publishable" is the equivalent of "vanilla."
To me, the real power of editing activates when we take writing that is vanilla (does the job) and turn it into chocolate chip cookie dough (something people rave about and want to share with their friends).
Yes, the editing process for the latter involves a few more steps than you're used to, but I promise, it'll be worth it.
Before you can turn a piece of vanilla writing into chocolate chip cookie dough, however, you need to be sure it really is at the vanilla (i.e., technically sound) stage.
You also need to meet these three requirements:
You know exactly who the ideal reader is,
You know what promise you're making to them, and
Your piece contains all the key information required to deliver on the promise.
If you have all of this in hand, it's time to edit!
Step #1: High-level pass
This is the stage where knowing exactly who you're writing for, and what you're trying to say is crucial.
Because the first thing you need to do is go through your draft and delete anything that is not relevant to the promise you're making.
When I first started putting this post together, many of the things I talked about were general writing tips. They were great tips, but completely irrelevant to the promise I was making — which was how to edit, not how to write.
The second thing you need to do is check your examples.
If the ideal reader for your piece is a doctor, but all your examples are about builders, you need to change your examples. (If you don't, your piece won't resonate.)
Finally, you need to check your sub-headings.
If you promise "5 secrets to great writing" in your title and all your sub-headings are actually "5 mistakes people make when they're writing," then you need to either change your title or your sub-headings.
Step #2 : Structure
A neat and tidy structure for any piece of writing is a three-part structure: beginning, middle, end. Or, my personal favorite: hook, build, payoff.
Let's start with your hook
First, check you have one. The hook appears very early in a piece, and must capture your reader's attention.
(Which is why you must know who the reader is.)
For example, I hooked you at the start of this article by connecting editing — something many writers don't like doing — with ice cream, which pretty much everyone likes eating.
If your piece is missing a hook, and you're not sure how to give it one, I break down five common hooks here.
It's also worth noting that writers often bury their hooks two paragraphs into their content.
I can't tell you how many "first two paragraphs" I've deleted in my time. All that backstory you're giving, the reader doesn't care.
Start with the bit that captures their attention, and then carry on from there. (If you really need backstory for context, you can introduce it later.)
The next structural element we need to look at is our build
This is where you introduce your idea to the reader and show them "what is."
Then you tell them why they should care by showing them "what could be."
In the introduction of this post, I showed you "what is" — vanilla ice cream. It's "does the job" writing.
The problem is, no one's Instagramming vanilla ice cream or telling their friends about it.
Then I showed you "what could be" — chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
Basically, I sold you the dream! Now I need to deliver on that dream.
And I do that via …
The final structural element: the payoff
Many writers think their final line is the payoff, but that's rarely the case.
More commonly, it's the six points, or the 10 tips, or the 15 secrets. Essentially, it's where you deliver on the promise you've made in your title.
Everything I'm walking you through right now, this is all payoff. I'm giving you practical actions that turn your vanilla draft into chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
What do you do if your structure isn't quite right?
If the proper information is all there, it might simply need re-ordering.
But more often than not, this is the part of the editing process where you need to do some re-writing and "hole filling."
Step #3: Remove roadblocks
Roadblocks are things that make the reader stop and go … "Huh?"
It's important to remove these because there are so many things our readers can be doing today. Any roadblock we throw up might make them decide it's easier to go check out stupid memes on Facebook.
What are some common roadblocks?
The first is unnecessary repetition.
This is pretty common in books or articles where an author is battling to meet a word count. So they'll say the same thing five different ways.
It also happens when a writer isn't 100 percent clear on what they're trying to say. So they share a single thought in a few different ways, hoping one of those ways will resonate with the reader.
Don't do this.
Make your point once; make it well. Then move on to the next one.
The second common roadblock is a big word that could be smaller.
Mark Twain (apparently) said:
"Don't use a five-dollar word when a fifty-cent word will do."
It doesn't matter how smart your readers are; they will always prefer a small word to a big one.
For example, you wouldn't write "utilize" when you could just write "use."
The third roadblock is jargon.
We all know about jargon because we've all been frustrated by reading it. But often, when we're doing corporate writing, it's not possible to remove it.
You need to use your judgement here. If jargon is putting unnecessary distance between you and the reader, then edit it out. If they're clued up on the topic, a little bit of jargon is okay.
In-jokes are another common roadblock.
These are fun if everyone gets them — but they seldom do. Remember, the people who don't get the in-joke will feel both stupid and distanced from you.
So you'd use them if you're deliberately trying to create a divide between people who get it and those who don't. In all other situations, you'd consider their use carefully.
Awkward syntax is when a sentence is grammatically correct but still sounds weird. In those situations, I always re-phrase the sentence because things that sound weird stop readers in their tracks.
The final most common type of roadblocks are sentences or paragraphs you love because they're awesome and make you sound super-smart.
You know you could cut them out because they're not actively contributing anything, but you leave them there anyway.
These are called darlings. And we all know killing our darlings makes our writing better.
Step #4: Smooth your transitions
This is a very hard one to give practical advice on, but I need to mention it anyway.
If you read through your piece and it doesn't feel like it flows very well, but your structure is sound, then you may need to use linking words like "but," "and," and "however" between your sentences.
Smooth transitions between paragraphs and sections are also necessary to keep the reader moving along. Harsh transitions where there is no obvious link between adjacent paragraphs act as a roadblock.
If you can't smoothly link two paragraphs or section, consider splitting them via sub-headings. Or do what Malcolm Gladwell does and put three dashes between the end of a paragraph and the start of a new one.

Can she stand up again and complete her mission or will she shirk back into her shadows and lament at her own weakness again? 
   Just when she thought that everything was futile, she discovered that she was being stalked by a shady guy! 
   "I can help you if you want to succeed in your quest, but you must come with me." He said. 
   "Um, how about no."
   "Then, I'll take you away by force, if I have to!"
   "A challenge? Great! I've always wanted to see how much my bombs have progressed!"

"Save" and the chapter that I wrote with 600 word count automatically save and close it. I pulled out my phone and looked at the time. It's already 8 am in the morning, I yawned and lay myself to relax for a bit after sitting up for hours. 
Writing and polishing the chapters took all my energy, I looked at the side and I realized I only have 2 potato chips and one box of sandwich cookies and 2 bottled water. All the chocolate energy bars and spicy potato chips I had run out after I ate them while I'm writing.

 I stared at my tent ceiling as a question popped into my mind about joining the competition, what if I won't be qualified? 
A writer that is not good at world-building, not good at constructing words. I'm not confident in my writing skills. Few years have passed, my writing skills haven't improved. 


Logically speaking, there are tons of writers out there that are way better than me. Way more talented than me. They have so much imagination that can connect to their readers, to the world. Writers who joined The Scripturient's League have this one piece of the formula that could surely qualify them for this competition: talent. 

I heavily sighed and turn on my side, I should think about what would be the next chapter of my writing entry. What would be an interesting chapter that would happen to Shiki? An interesting chapter that could make the editors awed from it. An interesting chapter that could hooked them. 

Evaluating myself, the prologue that I wrote isn't quite interesting. It's directly more on the emotion of the main character and not world-building. 

Sometimes what you have felt for  recently could help you to write an emotional chapter. 


I brainstorm on what would be the next chapter and doze off to sleep. It was 4 pm, Shane groaned as he sits up from the alarm of his phone, interrupted from his sleep. He grabbed his phone and turned it off, shoving it into his pockets. 
Shane heard his stomach growling, he reached out for his one box of sandwich cookies and eat it. Not having enough sleep, Shane wants to doze off. He sighed as he pulled out his phone.

I just stood there thinking....how to remove the knife that Lucif was currently holding then I saw my saviour!

"Dad, please don't kill her! Otherwise our story might never end!"said a young girl with silver hair and golden eyes(Our world, will it be connected, Main female protagonist: Liliana)

So, I think I know what is happening around me, it seems like I'm kidnapped by my characters..... well...I can understand why....

I tried to speak out loud, but the scarf restricted me from speaking, Lucif used the knife and sliced off the scarf!

I took a deep breath and started rapping! Jk! :P

"I am very sorry! I will start working on your stories! Please give me some more time!"I begged them

All of my characters looked at each other and sigh! 

They gave me the death stare, and the aura was cold.

"If you don't start writing from next month to be more specific November 2020! I will bring your soul to our world and make you suffer.....you must at least continue to write 3 stories+complete my story(Otome Game: You're my love I will never love you again)!"smiled Lucif as his violet eyes glowed

I got the chills down my spine and I started to remember how overpowered my protagonist are....

FUCK! I MESSED UP! Why did I make my protagonists so overpowered! If I ever go to their world, I'm going to live miserably under their hands! FML! T_T

R.I.P.

Then I saw Mia/Lin Xia's head floating and coming next to me

I fainted....

When I opened my eyes.....I saw this update that I didn't write.... FUCk! I'm dead! (Jk I mean I'm currently writing this special spin off, so that I'm more motivated to continue writing my stories)

Well, I wonder what my characters are currently doing? 

Then I saw a note right next to me, it wrote

"Hey! Don't you dare forget about us! If you do! I will drag you to our world!"
 
There was a red feather next to the note.....

FUCK! 

I'm dead!

Btw this was my point of view, it's just my own imagination, I'm just talking to myself....

I know my writing is messy, I do need an editor, but this is just a hobby! I will continue to edit my work because I can find so many mistakes in my writing and some of my ideas aren't really clear, it seems confusing.

I will read more real fat books and newspapers, and try to make my grammar better! 

I honestly prefer reading novels online and maybe that's why my grammar kind of sucks.

So, to avoid me being dragged to their world (which I don't think it's possible but I'm paranoid and I rather transmigrate to the world of my book after I complete it then when it's incomplete!)
