The duo arrived at the room where Uno, Kalipsi, and Tala were.
Elder Lawa's jaw dropped seeing the energy stones that were lying on the table radiating dazzling light. 'Too many! I never expect such number of stones.' 
There were thousands of energy stones in their vaults but in low quality such as the energy stones that can be obtained through E beasts and little number D beasts.
In just one glance, Lawa could determine that there were energy stones from C beasts!
Snapping out to his usual self, he faced the three youths with disbelief and said, "We will appraise your stones. This will take time, I asked for your patience."
"We can wait," Kalipsi smiled.
With the help of Laz, the appraisal begins.
Lawa touched the stones with his hands covered by his earthly energy. He could determine how pure the energy in each energy stone has. 
"Grade D, Grade C, grade C, grade D..." Lawa appraised every stone carefully. 'These stones can only be found in higher level beasts. How can these three youths managed to have these all?' Although puzzled, he didn't voice it out to avoid conflict with their biggest benefactor.
The stones were truly a great help to enhance the purification level of every citizen in their city. More experts will emerge and a chance of leveling up their city's current status will be possible at last.
"A...a...hu...hundred?" Elder Lawa uttered in disbelief. It took him a minute to regain his composure. 
"We can only buy it all with 20 silver pilancitos. I can offer my storage ring and weapon for the deficit." Lawa offered. 'Our hall budget was only limited from 30 pilancitos a year. The hall already used up the 10 silver pilancitos leaving 20. If I asked for more to the higher-ups, it will take longer. I don't know if they can wait more.'
"20 silver pilancitos?" Laz gulped a large amount of saliva. 'That's a great sum. If I can obtain even five, my mother will be able to see a physician and we don't need to worry about every day need a year. But of course, it's a nigh impossible for me.'
One silver pilancitos was equal to a thousand of bronze pilancitos.
"Senior here was an honest and competent man. Your price was reasonable," Tala said. She knew how much she can sell the stones. 
"Being honest with the customer will make them came back again." Lawa smiled warmly. He knew that these two weren't ordinary one. Scheming with them wouldn't be a good idea. Lawa was also against scheming.
"Elder Lawa is truly an honest Elder," Laz said proudly. He knew his master a lot and his master had helped him often too.
Elder Lawa handed over a pouch containing 20 silver pilancitos.
For the last moment, he watched his storage ring on his finger before it vanishes.
He was going to take off his storage ring when one of the youth, the shortest one among the three, said, 20 pilancitos is enough elder.
Lawa was stunned to his words. Not understanding what he means, he explained, "Though this storage ring of mine was older than me, you will not be able to see such a vast space inside it to any storage ring out there."
"This money is truly enough elder," Tala persuaded the elder. She noticed the sentimental look of the elder to his storage ring, so she did not want to snatch it from him.
"Thank you," Elder Lawa said in low voice with a hint of bashfulness.
"Thank you Elder. We will take our leave first," the trio headed out after paying the appraisal fee of one silver pilancitos.
Laz was all smile seeing the trio pay the appraisal fee. 'I sure will get a hundred of bronze pilancitos!' He computed in his mind.
"If you need anything, I will be just here." Laz was going to bid farewell when he heard the voice of Tala.
"Actually, we are looking for an Artisan Hall. If you're free, can you send us there?"
You act like new here. Laz couldn't help but laughed. 	
The three awkwardly nodded.
Laz froze. 'For real?' He didn't mean to laugh them. He was just kidding, but how would he know that he was right. He cleared his throat to break the awkward atmosphere before he said, "Since I am free of time, I will accompany you."
"The Artisan Hall was the best choice to buy weapons and storage rings than on stalls." Laz led the way. "Though there might be good qualities there, in the Artisan Hall, you can guarantee its superiority.
"May I know where did you get that many energy stones?" Laz was curious. Having that much stones was impossible to obtain by such young men.
"We obtain it on the way here." Kalipsi simply answer.
"On the way here? How?"
"Training." Uno simply replied.
Training? What kind of training they have been going through? How long did it take to accumulate that large number of stones? Who trained them?
Suddenly, an unbelievable thought came into his mind.
If he was telling the truth, then how strong they are?
Before he could ask again, the Artisan Hall came into view.
"Welcome to our hall, our esteemed gue.,." the youth stopped his greeting seeing the familiar silhouettes. "Oh! Where did you pick a trash companions Laz?'

Laz continued his way without paying heed to the young man. He gestured the three to follow suit.
"Laz, you dare to ignore me? And this poor companion of yours?" Gab was going to touch the shoulder of Kalipsi to stop him when Laz exerted his energy all over his body. 
The concentrated energy made a disturbance in the surrounding air and in an unknown speed, he was already in front of Gab holding his wrist tightly. "Don't touch them with your filthy hand, you idiot!" Laz's voice was like a clap of thunder in Gab's ears. Laz's eyes were lighting with flames as he piercingly locked it on Gab's eyes.
Gab shivered in horror. He knew the might of Laz but he never knew that his action earlier will result that much. He didn't even touch the youth yet. This was what he felt when they try to hurt his little brother too.
He knew that he wasn't much to Laz that is why he wants to touch the other youth, and because of his status in the Artisan Hall, he was confident to humiliate the four. 
He never thought that it was just his wishful thinking.
Laz released Gab's wrist. Kalipsi, Uno, and Tala didn't want to be bothered by such human, so they didn't take up an action. But who knows that Laz would make a move. 
The trio continued to walk forward.
"So, you're not just an ordinary stone appraisal, huh?" Kalipsi teased him. That speed wasn't so-so in his eyes.
"Uhm. I'm just quiet blessed by talent." Laz rubbed his head in shyness. 'The three of them killed such a large amount of beasts that even I can't. My skills can't be compared to them for sure.' He thought sadly.
A lass confronted them. "What can we do to our guests?" She clasped her fist gracefully.
"We are here to buy weapons and rings," Laz responded.
"This way please." The lass looked at the trio behind Laz. Seeing clearly their faces, she couldn't help but tilted her head. The three seemed familiars as well as unfamiliar. 'Where did I see them?'
"Yes, senior Cite." 
"Guess these three is your friends. To come here knowing that the trouble maker is just around here." Cite asked.
Laz's face reddened to Cite's words as he looked at the three.

"We don't know Laz's bad business here. Does Laz felt uncomfortable? If yes, you can.." But before Uno could finish his words, Laz cut it off and said, 
"No..no.. if it's the three of you, I don't have anything to say. Senior Cite, can you show us the way please!" Laz said hurriedly.
'Who the **** these three? How can they make Laz act this way? Even the elders can't make him went in this hall to avoid trouble but these three can?' Cite was baffled.
The commission Laz would get later from appraising the stones of the three was a big sum. He wanted to repay it even just by being their tour guide. Though he already did his part by appraising it, a 'gratitude' planted on his mind already by letting him do the job.
They arrived at the main hall. Weapons by weapons were displayed. 
"What kind of weapons you're looking for?" Cite asked with a smile.
"Sword," Kalipsi simply replied.
"Is there any preference you've like." 
"Nothing. Anything will do," Kalipsi remembered how Tala used any kind of weapon, so he thought anything will do. He was going to buy a weapon, not for him, but for Tala.
Tala saw an ordinary looking bow hung in one corner. 
She looked at it and examined. 'How did this thing came here?' Tala brows knitted in confusion. She was going to get it when a swift of hand passed through her and snatched the bow. Because she submerged from deep thought, she was caught off guard.
"Do you want this?" The youth who snatched the bow said gleefully.
"Dilaw, what are you doing to our guests?" Cite was furious to his action. Disrespecting their guest was equal to drive them away. 
Dilaw was the son of the Head of the hall who hated Laz because his talent where mediocre compared to Laz and Laz was favored most of the elders. He envious Laz's talent, that's why he felt satisfaction whenever he stirs up trouble to him. Although he couldn't touch Laz, it doesn't mean he couldn't touch his companion.
But the youth was just looking at him with no emotion at all. He couldn't help but gulped seeing the deep black eyes that were staring at him. 
The youth said in low voice, "Name your price."

Acid rain and acidification in China: the importance of base cation deposition

Abstract

Acid deposition has been recognized as a serious environmental problem in China. Most acid deposition studies have focused on sulfur deposition and the pH of precipitation. However, as high concentration of alkaline dust is an important feature of the atmosphere in large parts of China, base cation deposition must be taken into account when discussing possible effects on soils and vegetation from acid deposition. We estimate the deposition of sulfur as well as calcium, i.e. the dominating anion and cation, on a regional scale in China using data both from measurements and modeling. The ratio of sulfur/calcium in deposition is then used as an indicator for identifying areas where deposition acidity exceeds alkalinity, and where soils may be at risk to acidification. The dynamic soil acidification model MAGIC is applied with data from two sites receiving high deposition loads in southwest China. The model predictions indicate that considerable soil acidification has been going on for the last decades due to acid deposition inputs. Effects on the spatial distribution of acidic deposition in China, using different future deposition scenarios, are illustrated. As the size of the anthropogenic fraction of the base cation deposition is unknown, different possible future trends in calcium deposition were used. Soil response, according to the model, using different combinations of sulfur and calcium deposition scenarios is shown. Applying the most strict measures to reduce sulfur emission will almost eliminate the acid deposition problem; however, such a scenario is not economically feasible in the short term. A strict, but possibly realistic, future scenario for sulfur may be enough to keep the situation at the present level, assuming only moderate reductions in calcium deposition. With large decreases in base cation deposition, increased soil acidification can be expected even with considerable sulfur emission reductions.

Abstract

Rain impact effects on aerospace vehicle components have presented challenging problems for investigation in experimental physics, analytical and computational mechanics, fracture mechanics, and systems analysis. The term "rain impact" is used in preference to the more common term "rain erosion", since the resulting damage is not always an erosion process. The significant advances made by the author over the past 25 years in understanding the damaging aspects of liquid drop impingement are described. The perspective is subjective based on the author's view of what was required and what was done to satisfy the need. This background is used to introduce the work that still needs to be done, in the author's view, to provide meaningful estimates of the response of materials during flights through hydrometeor environments. The purpose of this discourse is to appreciate the lessons learned and to stimulate interest in making further progress in a fascinating area of research. How realistic is our understanding of the sequence of events that takes place in the flight environment? How well can the physical concepts of raindrop impacts be represented in a computational form for predicting rain impact damage? What experimentation (simulation or material property evaluation) is required to establish a component's rain impact damage response? Do the existing testing capabilities provide data that is relevant to the flight environment? These are the issues considered based on the author's past experience.

Nothing but my own gasping breath pierces the silence. The tall blue walls rush past in a blur. I pause to catch my breath, only to get a painful jolt from the collar around my neck.
"Subject K-134006, run faster." a disembodied voice says through the blue speakers.
When is this going to end? I've been doing this since yesterday. Non-stop. No food or water. I have a mental clock that reads that I have been doing this for 30 hours, 27 minutes, and 6 seconds. Seven. Eight. Nine. The walls flash by as I run, trying to ignore my exhaustion, hunger, and thirst. Nothing to do but run. I got a dead end and turn around, back the way I came from. They started me out with an easy maze. As soon as I had finished that one, I was put into another one, slightly harder, and bigger. It has gone on and on and on, for 30 hours, 32 minutes and 17 seconds. I turn another corner and see a blue door at the end of the hallway. The end of yet another maze. I come up to it and look for the hidden Handel. It's password protected. Numbers and letters. I look around for clues. Then I notice the slightly darker blue specks on the blue walls around the door. They are placed in clumps. I count how many there are to each clump. Six, twelve, seven, one, ten. I try putting in just the numbers. When nothing happens I try again, but replacing the Twelve with L, because L is the twelfth letter of the alphabet, and that clump was darker than the other clump. A hiss of air tells me that it was correct. The door swings open, and I expect the Whitecoats to tell me to run through the door on the opposite side of the room but they don't, and I collapse from exhaustion, barely through the door. Multiple voices speak all around me.
" Remarkable! " says a man with jet black hair.
" It's completing them faster than we can build them! " Says a female with red hair like fire.
" It's stamina and mind capacity is amazing." Says the same black haired man.
A face leans down to look into mine, and hands me a glass of water. It's a face I know well, unlike the other Whitecoats. And I hate it the most of all faces. It's a face that is at every "test". It is the face of MH Industry. The face of my creator. The face of Cite Mason. He is the one who donated the DNA for me. So in a way, he is my father. But not to the Whitecoats. To them, he's a Donator, and their boss. 
"Good job. We just need a blood sample and then we will be done." Cite says.
As he is speaking, a Whitcoat grabs my arm and starts drawing blood.
When the Whitecoat finishes, he only points to a doorway not saying anything. I get up and walk towards the door. On the other side, a Mutt is waiting for me. Mutts are the other kind of hybrid in this facility. They are a combination of bear and human. They are the gaurdians of this place. This Mutt in particular is my personal gaurdian. He grins.
"Ello' Ryley." he says while smirking at my condition. " What's the matter? To tired to walk?"
"Shut up Aaron" I say back and walk past him into the hallway.

"Staff of Linfa? Cool!" Al grinned as he surveyed the silver-stream of staff in his hand. It was finally the good news that he has been waiting for.

[ Do you want to switch to Autopilot Mode? ] SARS asked.

"Nah." Al could not keep himself from smiling. He estimated that it would take at least fifteen seconds for the two demon samurais to reach him. "Tell me more about this staff."

[ This process is called Awakening, which should only be available in Level 200 Quests. However, I have managed to discover this hidden feature. All you need to do is cite the spiel to activate it. ]

"Nice! Nice! So, what's the spiel?" In the face of death, Al excitedly asked. 

"What's wrong with him? Why is he smiling?" Dreaming Blade was confused as he continued his way towards Al, skipping on the sword spikes to increase his speed. 

"What else would you do if you're about to be helplessly killed?" Battousai chuckled.

[ The spiel is a bit long. Are you sure that you could memorise it? ] SARS was a bit doubtful.

( -_- ) "Of course!" Al rolled his eyes.

Al was a bit hesitant at first as he expected a very long line and complicated rituals. Grateful that it was simple, he grinned as he religiously followed; the weapon in his hand quickly spun while he recited the lines. Suddenly, the staff glowed with bright green energy. 

The silver blood started to disappear, revealing a brown wooden staff engraved with carvings of golden leaves and vines. Both of its ends were gilded in brass. 

It was the real Staff of Linfa!

"Stop!" Battousai suddenly warned his ally as he halted his steps. He saw the changes in Udil's hand, and he felt the abrupt change in the atmosphere. It was the feeling of the calm before the storm. 

"Huh?" Dreaming Blade's demonic purple face was confused. 

The huge branches of the enormous tree on top of the mini-hill suddenly swayed, but there was no wind. 

"Woah! Awesome!" Al marveled at the new weapon in his hand. He glanced a look at the two demon samurais who were still quite a short distance from him.

[ Since we've activated this feature early on, the power of the awakening will depend on your character's attributes and your personal mental abilities. The Hidden Weapon Skill is called Eye of the Storm. It allows you to control objects on the battlefield. Do I still need to guide you step-by-step on how to win this match? ] SARS advised.

"Nah. Sit back and relax." Al grinned as he surveyed the numerous sword spikes on the mossy ground. The majority of the damage in his HP came from these things. Now, it's time to use them for his benefit.

Al exhaled deeply. Dreaming Blade and Battousai were slowly making their way towards him. He closed his eyes as he channeled all the power inside of him; the boy imagined a brewing storm in the skies.

Eye of the Storm!

Green wisps of energy started to surface from the mossy ground where Udil was standing. 

"How many skills does he have?" Battousai gritted his teeth. The two of them had no choice as they were close-combatants. "It's two versus one! Charge, Dreaming Blade! I'll do the first Reverse Harakiri!"

The looming figure of the enormous tree kept on swaying as the green vapours from the ground kept on rising. These handfuls of green smoke started to form a cloud in the air. 

"Quick! It's a channelling skill! Intercept him!" Battousai ordered.

"Not good. My Yabusame is still in cooldown." Dreaming Blade responded.

Udil finally opened his eyes. He was expecting to see a gloomy sky filled with flashes of lightning and swirling leaves carried by violent winds. However, what greeted him was a cute dark green cumulonimbus cloud in the shape of a circle, thrice the size of a basketball. 

[ Haha. Al Gentrix So Strong is so weak. ] SARS' robotic emoticon bursted into a series of laughter. 

"Eh?! What the heck?!" Al was embarrassed.

Sensing that something was wrong with the spell of his opponent, Battousai grinned. 'This bastard! He was just buying some time!' The Demon Samurai muttered a curse.

"Go all out! That guy's just bluffing. Time to end this! Our other members are waiting for us." Battousai once again ordered.

"Are you sure?" However, Dreaming Blade was a bit doubtful as he kept on glancing over the seemingly harmless ball of dark green cloud.

"Yup! Want to bet your girlfriend? It would be me who gets to kill him with Reverse-Harakiri!" Battousai confidently offered. Udil was just a few body units away from him. 

"Damn you! I don't have a girlfriend!" Dreaming Blade grinned as he continued to increase his pace; he was trailing behind Battousai.

"SARS! Are you trying to play some tricks on me? Today's match is at stake here!" Al could not believe what was happening. All that hype went into nothing. 

Battousai finally reached Udil; he was floating in the air as he leapt. "How dare you trick us! Now let me cut that belly of yours!"

Reverse Harakiri!

The pair of katanas is Battousai Hands glowed in black and red energies. His demonic blue eyes glinted with killing-intent as he focused on Udil's abdomen. 

"Die!" Battousai shouted. 

Brrrrr.

Time seemed to slow down as the swords on the mossy ground started to rattle. 

It was too late for Battousai to cancel his skill; he could hear the faint warning of Dreaming Blade. 

The dark green cloud on the sky above started to spin. A violent wind was brewing, dragging with it the numerous green and yellow leaves of the enormous tree. 

One-by-one, the sword spikes on the mossy ground started to rise. 

[ I never said that it was not sufficient. It's just that under your control, the commencement of the skill is just too slow. If you were facing quicker opponents, you've been long dead already. ] SARS clarified.

After school was over due to Momo, Shoko, and I aiming to go to U.A, Airi decided to go as well. I was originally given the recommendation for our school though I gave it to Momo. Due to Shoko using her fire side as opposed to only her ice side, she got first place in the recommendation exam.
During these 9 months before U.A could start, aside from training my Nine tails ability, I was also working on using cellular manipulation to make permanent changes to my body. The only change I had time to perform was Increasing my muscle density. It took the majority of the 9 Months to complete but once done, I knew it was well worth it. My physical strength officially joined the ranks of superhuman without even using my quirks. My base state was at least four times more powerful.
Arriving at U.A I see hundreds of students flowing into the building to compete in the entrance exam, for a spot in the prodigious school.
Seeing Airi among the crowd, I walk up to her, and we walk to the exam together. I can see other characters from the anime in the crowd, though I haven't spotted Izuku, or Bakugo.
Walking into the auditorium, where the written exam is hosted, we sit down at the back and wait for the exam to began. After waiting a few minutes, President mic walks up to the stage and obnoxiously yells "Yo! Are you all ready for the exam?" Receiving no answer, he said "Tough crowd eh?" 
As he walks off the stage the proctors hand out the exam. Going over it quickly I realize it would not be very hard. Taking a few minutes to complete it, I walk up to the proctor and hand it over, ignoring the look of pity they gave me.
Waiting outside for an hour for the exam to finish, we make our way to the buses, and drive towards the practical test. I decided earlier I would only use lightning cloak, because even if I used my other abilities they'd likely take longer to destroy the robots.
President Mic leads us towards the arena, and once we arrive starts explaining how the exam works. After his explanation he tries again to get a rouse out of the crowd, though once again he fails. He sighs and says we can go.
Ignoring the looks of confusion in the crowd I've already enabled lightning cloak and ran too fast for anyone to see. Getting over here initial confusion Airi quickly creates a pair of phoenix wings using her flames. Not long after seeing Airi fly out of the crowd the other contestants start joining in.
In all the time its taken the others to realize what was happening I had already completely decimated a few robots. Within a few minutes I already had by far the highest points of all the students. Though Airi had a powerful quirk Bakugo still took second place.
As I was sprinting around with only a few minutes left, I can feel the ground rumbling, and see multiple buildings falling over. In place of the buildings there is a massive robot, or the 0 pointer. I decide considering I was in a different section to Izuku, I'd destroy this one myself. 
Turning the lightning cloak up to the highest level I can take it as of now, my hair turns neon, and starts to float. Bright white lightning flares around me, and I with a single leap, arrive right in front of the 0 pointer. I concentrate and compress the cloak onto my first, something I learned a while back, and cock my fist back. I send a single punch at the 0 pointer. The shock wave alone is already pushing it back, but once my fist connects, It gets broken beyond repair.
As I had already secured 1st place and shown off plenty, I just casually walk away from the 0 pointer. With almost no time left in the exam, I walk around till I spot Airi, who is visibly exhausted, and panting.
Walking out of the exam cite with Airi, we make our way back to the buses, and drive back to the school cite. 
(Third person POV)
Meanwhile in the viewing chamber, the teachers are replaying the clip of Gripen taking down the 0 pointer over and over again, with varying levels of shock on their faces. "Damn." Is the only thing Midnight can say.
"Indeed, that was an impressive display." Said the rat principal Nezu. He turns toward All might who was also in a state of shock, says "Her level of strength isn't quite on par with you All might, however her speed is leagues above yours"
Nezu turns back towards the screen, and plays the clip of a green haired boy destroying a 0 pointer, and in the process saving a round headed girl. "Interesting.." Nezu says, as he turns to All might, though quickly turning back.
With a sigh Eraser head says "Looks like I can't get my much needed rest this year." All the teachers ignore him used to his laziness. All might thinking about how she was almost as strong as he was, though he didn't know that she used basically all her stamina in that half a second, Thought that his successor would have a rough time.
Still in slight shock, most of the teachers leave the room and go their own ways

This chapter discusses the characteristics of vibration, the theory of vibration, and the effects of vibration on humans. In addition, the chapter discusses the methods of controlling vibration, in particular, how to select isolators that isolate a disturbing force from a radiating surface. In general, vibration can be described as an oscillatory motion in a system about an equilibrium position produced by a disturbing force. Vibration can be measured by examining displacement, velocity, and acceleration. The instruments that can measure vibration include pickups, amplifiers, and analyzers. There are two types of vibration effects on the human body: whole-body vibration and segmental vibration. The human body is subjected to mechanical vibration just as any other system. Vibration causes not only airborne noise but also whole-body and segmental vibration effects. These effects can cause physiological and psychological problems. In addition, vibration can be controlled by reducing the mechanical driving force, by isolating the vibration driving force from the radiating surface, and by reducing the radiations of the vibrating surface.
