The next place where this unusual guy who was like a storm took me, was the same house that looked like a lighthouse. 
 
We stopped at the door and I was struck by the fact that it was from here that I could see green fields and forest in front of me. 
 
How far away we were from the city. 
 
Leon knocked on the door and for a while we just stood and waited until we were met by a young guy with curly hair. 
 
His face looked familiar to me, but I couldn't remember where I saw those almost owlish eyes and that cheerful facial expression that screamed, "I'm very happy!" 
 
"Leon! Finally!" he exclaimed, and grabbing Leon by the hand he quickly dragged him inside the house. "Where have you been? You haven't heard from you for a long time!" 
 
Looking at how Leon looked at him friendly, forgetting about his mystery, I realized that he is perhaps his best friend. 
 
"I brought someone to you," Leon said, and looked at me from head to toe. 
 
"I knew so, " whispered a guy with curly, brown hair. 
 
What he meant I never understood, but the way he looked at Leon was pretty strange.
 
Looking over each other, Leon nodded slightly to him, and he smiled joyfully, and then if it didn't seem to me, he winked at him. 
 
Holding out his hand to me, the guy introduced himself, "My name is Levi. And I am the publisher of this beautiful publishing house." 
 
"Publishing!" I exclaimed and looked at Leon.
 
"What's your name?" asked Levi tying the belt of his cardigan. "It's very cold here. Would you like a cardigan?" 
 
"No thanks. My name is Skyemoone. But you can call me just Skye." 
 
"What an unusual name!" and again he glanced suspiciously at Leon. "And what do you do Mr. Skye?" 
 
"I'm a professor of Philosophy." 
  
"Of course!" he exclaimed, and patted Leon on the back. 
 
There was clearly some secret language between them. 
 
"Please sit down. Feel at home," Levi said pointing to a large sofa that stood surrounded by books and papers. 
 
When he disappeared behind the tree door, I looked around and noticed that this house or publishing house looked more like a library. There were millions of books here. And the same amounts of papers that have been written. 
 
In the middle of the room, I noticed a large globe that was closing the whole shelf. The globe slowly twirled around its axis. 
 
The house was quite old, but at the same time there was a smell of new books. 
 
While I was looking at the room and the books in front of me, Leon was looking at me. 
 
"Over there, this is my book," he said pointing to a book that was lying on a small coffee table. 
 
I immediately picked it up and felt my palms sweat. 
 
On the cover was a drawing of a silhouette of a man and the title of the book was "Good Man." 
 
I eagerly opened the first page and wanted to read it, but Leon stopped me. 
 
"I wrote this book two years ago." 
 
"I haven't seen it in stores." 
 
"I didn't publish it for people to read." 
 
"You published it just for yourself." 
 
"It's a kind of memoir. My memoir." 
 
Here he said as if he was already 90 years old. 
 
So how old is he? 
 
Noticing the apparent curiosity on my face, Leon smiled like never before and said, "If you want, you can read it." 
 
"Really?" 
 
"How unusual! Normally he wouldn't let anyone read his memoirs! He even refused to publish it!" exclaimed someone who was going down the wooded stairs. 
 
I looked up and saw Levi. But when he managed to change his hair color and clothes?! 
 
His hair was dyed red and he wore black jeans and a black T-shirt over which was a light red denim. 
 
The moment he reached out to me, I knew it was his twin brother. 
 
"I'm Liam. Twin brother of Levi." 
 
Noticing the surprise on my face, he added, "Yes, we are very similar. Even too much. He's my reflection."
 
As he sat next to me, Liam handed me a chocolate bar. "Are you scared?" 
Turning to Leon, he asked him, "Who is he to you?" 
 
Leon suddenly got up and grabbed the chocolate from his hand, moved a little to the side and began to look at the books. 
 
Liam, behaving more freely and not shyly, almost lay down on the sofa, and put his hand on my shoulder. And then I noticed that he had a lot of tattoos on his body. 
 
He had a crow on his neck, and all five fingers of his left hand had some constellations. 
 
"So, you're a professor?" he asked me.
 
"Yes," I said. 
 
"Don't be afraid. I'm a good person," he said, and began to massage my shoulders. 
 
"Liam stop," Leon told him, and judging by the way Liam immediately removed his hands, I realized that Leon had shared with him his evil sparks that were coming from the bowels of his dark green eyes. 
 
I felt a little uncomfortable and even a little scared. 
 
"That is enough, don't scare him!" 
 
"Brother! What have you been doing there for so long?" shouted Liam, and jumping over the back of the sofa rushed towards Levi, who was walking with a tray in his hand. 
 
"I hope you like green tea. I also brought some sweets here. If you want, I can cook dinner for you if you are hungry." 
 
"Don't bother. I love green tea." 
 
"I'm sorry if my brother said something to you or scared you. He just loves strangers. Especially beautiful as you. You see, he draws comics. So, when he sees a handsome man or woman, he immediately begins to talk to him or her and when he captures the beautiful features in his memory, he begins to draw his next character. He needs beautiful people for his story and inspiration." 
 
"Don't talk too much," muttered Leon grabbing a plate of cookies. 
 
"Is he your boyfriend?" Liam asked lightly hugging Leon. 
 
"Liam! Actually, now I plan to do business. Don't get in the way." 
 
"Don't get in the way! You're so boring." 
 
Having made a dissatisfied appearance, Liam again sat down next to me and propped his chin with his hand and again began to look at me. 
Noticing my embarrassment, Levi whispered, "Don't pay attention. He's just been hyperactive since he was a kid. Just let him look at you and then he'll go to paint."
 
"It's all right," I replied, and drank a few sips of green tea which, to my surprise, was not like any tea I drank.
 
"And so, let's get to the point, as you already understand, it's a publishing house. As you can see, all these books around us have been published. Some of them became popular, and some remained in the walls of this house. It all depends on the writer," Levi said before I could give him my manuscript, to which he simply replied, "We will publish your book." 
 
"What?! But you haven't even read it." 
 
"Tell me, you've already been turned down by a few publishers, right?" 
 
"Yes."
 
"Well, everything is decided. You don't have any doubts about us. With us, your book will skyrocket. Of course, if you want to. Or we can just publish it in binding and just sell a few copies in small shops on the outskirts of the city." 
 
"Listening to you, I understand your publishing house has power and voice among the world of writers." 
 
"Yes. We have a good reputation. Do you know why? Because we're on our own. And of course, because we work with denials." 
 
"With denials?" 
 
"Yes. Writers come to us after denials. And it doesn't matter if the book is good or not. Yes, it's a big risk, but still, I think it's good that with us, every writer has a chance," Levi said and again took a quick look at Leon who walked between the shelves with books. 
 
"I've never heard of your publishing house before," I said feeling that something was wrong. A man can't just take and publish a book like this. 
 
"You don't trust us. But you can be calm. We do it to make this world open to every talent. And besides, your Leon also published his books here several times." 
"Professor, you still have nothing to lose. And besides, I know you want to publish the Chain Reaction. So why are you acting like all people now?" asked Leon still wandering between the shelves.
 
I caught his gaze and Liam began to read the first lines of my manuscript. Brushing off his sneakers, he muttered, "Professor, I see you have talent. And besides, you're a very popular writer. I hope you will publish this book. Who knows, maybe with this book you will become the most famous and coolest person in the world." 
 
Having caught the views of all three people who surrounded me, I thought again, but in the end I agreed. 
 
Still, I wanted my book to be published. And that desire won my doubt. Although I trusted Leon completely. 
 
"I'm very happy Professor," said Levi, and once again shook my hand. "You can have no doubt about us. And yet, if you don't mind, leave me your mail address."
 
On that note, I arranged the next meeting.

And all because Professor Skyemoone opened their eyes and showed them that Person should live and achieve his or her goal no matter what. 

To live like you want to live. And no one will stop you. Isn't it happy world?

Because in the end, everything changes so quickly that people can not control their dreams and who they have become.

I would like to inform my readers that the story will be on a hiatus. I will be taking a break for a few months because of work. Being also the reason, is having to rewrite the story. It won't change the story per se, just adding and removing some unnecessary stuff. And I will have to incorporate some suggestions from you guys. Like the names in dialogues and such. I really need to work on those. XD But do not worry, I will still be writing from time to time. But judging from my pace, I won't be able to publish regularly. That is why, I will take this opportunity to take a break from publishing. I will return after and publish daily then. 
And until then, thank you very much. I will have to remove the story for after 3 days to avoid confusion for future readers, but I will publish it again after finishing it.

Year 2048, the current World War, or known by the general public as the Great World War is still ongoing for over 10 years now and is almost reaching its peak. The soldiers are giving their all and risking their lives to protect their loved ones.

I just got back from the Dungeon and just rescued myself from being killed by a horde of zombies. I become greedy when I arrive in the area where level four zombies are roaming around.
 
I decided to go into this area because I get a new skill and level up my old skill.

When I see the damage bonus, I become overconfident with the thought that I will find a camping base where I can snipe zombies from the higher ground. However, I underestimate how fast the zombie in that area.

The level four zombie status is not something I can beat when they try to kill me in a group. The physical stats alone is more than double my physical stats. Not only that, the HP is massive. I cannot kill it in one shot, and that's it a problem.
 
My usual strategy is to kill the zombie with one shot and go to the other one to kill it as well. I can fight the zombie in close combat, but I would rather not because of the number of level four zombies. If it was a boss battle and only the boss that I fight, I might fight it with my sword, but instead, I fight a group of level four zombies, which is not good.
 
I can kill two of the level four zombies from far away in a few seconds, but there is a problem with my usual strategy. The level four zombies can rally other zombies to their location. So every time I kill one level, four zombies, their last scream will attract another zombie.
 
Anyway, before I get into that situation, I learn something about my magic. I cannot use any magic before I get the said skill, and I get that said skill other than from the gacha shop. I try the way the gamer from a fanfic I read in my previous life about how they get a skill from trying to use their magic.
 
The result is me hurting my body.
 
Every time I try to manipulate my mana, my body gets hurt, and my HP slowly reduces every second, I try it. I don't know if I don't have mana manipulation skills or not, but I will not try to manipulate my mana anytime soon. Not only because of the pain, but I also don't want to die because of experimenting with something that I don't know.
 
The only way I could get skill is through the Gacha shop, which means I need a lot of Gacha Token. However, there is a slight problem with this. Gacha Token is a Rare item. It can only be collected through a quest or maybe finishing a dungeon level.
 
I can't buy the Gacha token with TP or real money, which is a shame. I guess that makes sense because the Gacha shop can give me a skill that can save my life and kill a high-level monster. However, just like any other Gacha, there is a chance that this shop will give me something stupid, like maybe a bottle of water or something.
 
Anyway, I need to prepare as I still have to go to school.

I stop in front of my class, and when I open up the door, I see there is only Ryobe-kun sitting on his chair while working on something. I walk toward him and see that he is making an original Manga.
 
The drawing style is not bad, and his speed at drawing the manga is astounding. While I don't know the full plot of this manga, by the look of it, it was not a mainstream genre where it takes place in high school or something. By the look of it, the protagonist is fighting an immortal vampire. They are talking about some stone mask that gives power to the wearer.
 
However, why does the character in this story always do some weird pose? Weird.
 
"Ne, Ryobe-kun? Do you have an intention to publish this manga?"
 
Ryobe-kun looked at me before nodding at my question.
 
"Yes, but I don't know any publisher that will accept my manga. Not only does this manga have a different genre than the mainstream manga, but it also has a different art style."
"Yeah, this manga is not following the trend of the school life genre and following a fantasy genre by the look of it. The art style is different, but it gives a refreshing sense to a reader. As for the publisher… Why not let me publish it?"
"Let you publish it?"
"Yeah, I know someone that can help me publish this manga."
 
Technically it was the truth. The owner of this publisher is my father, not me, and I know my own father. We Akagawa family has several businesses around the world. From technology to the manga industry.
 
"Yeah, sure."
"Great! Can you give me all chapters of this manga? The one that you currently have right now. I will take care of the rest of it."
 
Ryobe-kun takes out a stack of paper from his bag and gives it to me. I look at the stack of paper and widen my eyes. He already finished drawing thirty chapters. I don't know how long it has been since he started working on this manga, but I think he has already been working on this manga for a month by looking at his drawing speed. That is something worthy of praise as one chapter can take at least a week for one chapter, and Ryobi-kun has already finished thirty chapters.
 
"Why?"
"Hmmm?"
"Why do you do this? We are not that close, and you only know about me for a few days. Why do you do this?"

A lone middle aged office worker sat alone at his desk, typing away at his computer. Shortly after seeing black the man awoke in confusion, he was surrounded by bushes and trees, he had no clue where he was but as he slowly got up and collected his thoughts he realized something. 

"Wait.. I remember this place.. no.  Was that a dream?" The office worker made his way onto his feet and quietly uttered out the word "Status.." And as he did so a large screen appeared before him with information.

"I've read about these situations too many times... it seems I've died. Hah. Well.. I guess my life work was for naught. At least I'm in my own game I guess. I might as well go to the Circle of Rebirth to find out my subclass.."  As he started walking he thought to himself "I guess I'll walk there for now to at least see the scenery.. it's crazy to see every thing I created with my own hands be so life like.." 

As he was walking he met with someone, it was a very large built man in iron armor and he was stunned, why would a low level looking kid be out in the Forest of no return? He had to ensure his safety. 

"Hello there! You on your way to town? How about I be some assistance?" The man said directly at Von, Von was confused because he didn't recognize the man, this came to a shock as he personally created each NPC. 

"Uh. Sure, what's your name?" Von asked with a straight face

"My name? In game my name is Tren but in real life its Trent, what about you?" Tren replied, then Von realized an insane fact. He did publish the game... meaning.. He was reborn as an NPC but still had his GM powers!

"My name.. is Nov. I'm a low level Shadow Piercer, you seem to be a mid level Guardian. Will you assist me on the way to the Circle of Rebirth? I'm trying to find out what my subclass will be." Von replied after thinking deeply, he didn't want to use his character's name because if another GM found out he was logged in while being dead.. who knows what would happen. 

"Sure! As you know it's a Guardian's duty to assist things like this! I'll even gain Exp! I was on my way there anyway, I'm trying to upgrade my subclass" Tren replied chuckling, the two then began walking towards the Circle of Rebirth. 

"Do you mind me asking how many people are currently playing the game?" Von asked and Tren made a weird noise and said "What do you mean? This is the most popular game in the world and you didn't even know that?!" After Tren blurted that out Von was shocked to his core. 

'Is my game really that popular? Does that mean.. my life wasn't worthless?' As he thought this he involuntarily burst into tears, Tren pretended to not notice, he knew from the look that they were tears of passion. He didn't want to intrude.

Exams are a week away, and it feels like my time at Winderhill is really coming to a close. I'm trying to be a good student, but there are paparazzi camped outside my school, I ran with rogues (I'm shocked too), Maria just had to enter her dark cycle in school...My life is too exciting to study for exams.

It's exam week, but I've got far greater problems brewing at home. The prophecies are merging. River's stone had unlocked warlock trouble, the rogue king has moved in, and then there's Uncle Louis' economical problems... one at a time. Just let me survive Code Black and figure out what's going on at Heller's first, and I'm sure everything else will work out somehow.

Shocked....😳😳

While showing her back, SAHAR was still in her shock zone when Secretary SHIYA spoke first this time before SAHAR makes this situation more worst and introduced SAHAR with 
SHEELA "  SAHAR ! She is Head Director of XUO Company ! Miss SHEELA ! " 

bomb blasted on SAHAR.... BOOM 💥

SHIYA was feeling bad and try to make it up for themselves so she continued to HD SHEELA  " Please , Don't take it on heart  ma'am . She is newbie here and doesn't know about her work and rules of XUO Company . And RIHAAN Boss scolded her few time today morning so she was not feeling good and hurt , that's why she said in anger what you heard. Please forgive us. Let it go this matter. Please Head Director !

SHIYA tried her best asking for her forgiveness so the raised  problem can be solve soon.



SAHAR came back in her senses after listening second time how SHIYA requested to her. "Head Director ! " 
And SAHAR made her both lips down side 😟😢😢 in sad mode and just wanted to cry for her stupidity. SHIYA could see her regretted face while she was still facing her.

SHEELA put her both hand together close to her chest and strictly said  " I don't think so. she just said in her anger. she has strong mind set against our Big Boss and Boss that     ' THEY  ARE BAD PERSON . They are egoistic , no manners , no dignity & respect for others ' If they don't have conscience , then what are you  both doing here and why are you still stay in  this disrespectful XUO company ? JUST LEAVE ! "

SHIYA raised her voice in fear a little then again back to her normal after realising that and said  " NO  ! MA'AM ...we didn't mean like  that  , seriously . she was just angry and said it without thinking immaturly . Just forgive us . We make sure  this kind of  mistake won't happen in near future. I AM SORRY MA'AM ! TRULY SORRY MA'AM !

SHEELA was staring at SAHAR 's back in hope that she got the answer of her confusion this time that she is working under two bosses.

BUT...

This Time Again ....

What SAHAR didn't get from Miss SHEELA 's words "IF THEY DON'T HAVE CONSCIENCE " meant that she was talking about two different people " BIG BOSS" and "BOSS" . BUT Sahar didn't notice her words because she was thinking about her questions what she had asked "What She is doing here ?".

SAHAR was murmuring to herself that ---------- " if she had no 'debt of money ' she would never came in XUO COMPANY and she isn't interested to stay in this company at any cost."

She just wanted to throw this words in front of her 
But....

WAIT...! 

All blocked senses of SAHAR has started to work all of sudden .

' Debt of money '... Ohh my god ! how can I forgot about debt .....

' NO ! NO ! No ! I can't leave this company right now .I have to pay him back .what if I got fired , Dad will know about this and he is already angry with me and who knows he will choose someone to marry me and I won't be able to stop him at this time . '

' No ! I don't want to get punishment for me and miss Shiya again ' .....

she wanted to cry out loudly but she couldn't able to make it loud ....

she wanted to curse god for not listening her prayers and he didn't give her chance to protect herself...

" God ! you are bad ....I won't talk to you." -- SAHAR murmured to GOD (acted as she was about to cry but tear didn't came out from her eyes )

Somewhere in the heaven ,God was listening her words and said ---
" I wish you would stay remain what you have told But as I know , within few hours , you will talk to me.because everyday you says same lines to me but never followed once . so I am used to your accusations . (sigh)  okay ! I leave this situation for you to handle it because I have to go for my other lovely creatures to meet ,solve their grief and problems ! bye !  -- God was smiling and left .

I hope this will help the reader to ease their heart a little.Today I got little time to publish this chapter still this is little short than before chapters but still I publish it .if I got time then I will publish another chapter soon . 

This chapter is not edited yet . I  have just revised it once today .As you all know that I wrote few chapters in advance but couldn't get time to edit and publish it As per story's demand. The next day, Gun-Ho went to his GH Development office in Gangnam. Manager Kang was dozing off in his chair, and Ms. Ji-Young Jeong was playing with his smartphone chatting with her friends. They used to work hard when Gun-Ho—the president of the company was in the office with them.
 
"Hi. How have you all been?"
"Oh, sir."
The two employees were frightened and stood up quickly from their seats when they saw Gun-Ho entering the office. Ji-Young became fussy and brought green tea for Gun-Ho while Manager Kang took out papers he had to get Gun-Ho's review and approval. Gun-Ho laughed.
"Easy, people. You can sometimes doze off in the office if you are so tired. I understand."
The OneRoomTel business was doing well. It seemed that Manager Kang had been doing a good job managing them. Ji-Young gave a report to Gun-Ho on the current financial status of the company and showed him the ledger.
"Hmm. I see the office get-together expense has reduced. Why don't you go out more often and have dinner together even though I am not here?"
"Thank… thank you, sir."
"I saw the design office next door on the way here. Their office lights are off. Did they move to somewhere else?"
"They closed the office temporarily. Their business was suffering before they closed the office. They are several months behind their rent."
"Why don't they vacate the office then? It seems all their furniture and stuff are still in the office."
"I think they placed the office on the market, but no one has shown any interest yet."
"Manager Kang, what do you think about it? Even though they don't use the office, since they haven't completely vacated the office yet, the landlord will ask them to pay the rent, right?"
"That's right, sir. If they want to move out before the contract expires, they will have to pay the rent. If they don't pay the rent, the owner will deduct the amount from their security deposit."
"That means there would be not much left for them to take when they move out, from their security deposit."
"Right. It only takes a few months to go broke."
"That shouldn't be true, Manager Kang."
Ji-Young seemed to be upset because she was close with the workers in that design office.
 
"That's how it works, Ms. Ji-Young Jeong. The owner will ask them to pay the rent even though they don't really use the office because otherwise, the owner will have to bear the cost for the office. Moreover, if the owner purchased the office with a loan, then he will have to pay the loan interest without making any money from the office."
"So they haven't found any new tenant yet, huh?"
"Right. Even though they put the office on the market, if they can't find any new tenant who would take over their rent, they will have to pay for it. That's sad."
"When we move into our office, I think there were seven workers in their office."
"There are only three of them left. The office manager quit, and the lady worker who helped us to make our company logo is staying home these days because there is no work for her."
"Did you say they do a design work for a publishing company?"
"They do publishing work and also various design works, too. She is really good at what she does."
"Hmm."
Gun-Ho rubbed his chin.
 
Gun-Ho headed to Asan City. He was away from his company in Asan for about four days. He was away for a business trip to Japan and for visiting his office in Seoul.
He called for a meeting in the morning.
"Any news while I was away?"
"Nothing special, sir. The S Group notified us that they will visit our factory next Tuesday to verify our production capacity."
"We will have to present our factory very well to them. Please be prepared for it. This is really important for our company."
"Yes, sir. We already checked the extruding machines and prepared half a ton of the Dyeon's raw materials."
"The raw materials seem to have arrived early. I thought it would take longer since they are coming from the U.S."
"It doesn't take a long time these days. We just make an order through a phone call, and the customs office quickly does their job."
"Really? Haha. Did you get a product recipe from Mr. Sakata Ikuzo?"
"We have received the mould, but he hasn't handed the recipe to us yet. He said he would give it to us once he gets paid for his incentive."
"Of course, he wants his money."
 
Once the managers and directors left Gun-Ho's office, Gun-Ho saw a mail at his desk.
It was the book that Jien Wang sent to him—Economy Trend in China for the 21st Century."
"Well, even though I studied in China, this should still be difficult for me to read. I will need a dictionary and time to translate."
Gun-Ho asked for Jae-Sik Moon.
 
"Me? Did you ask for me?"
"Yes, I did. Why don't you have a seat there? Let's have some tea."
"Someone could see us together, which is not good. They would say that a security guard presumptuously is having tea with the president. People are already talking about me behind my back."
"What do they say?"
"They said the company provides a place to stay to a security guard."
"Oh, hmm. You don't have to worry about it."
"How can I not be concerned? They will eventually talk bad about you behind your back."
"Hmm. You think so?"
Gun-Ho felt a headache. What Jae-Sik was concerned about made sense to him. The president was supposed to be fair to all his employees.
"By the way, how much do you think it would cost to publish this kind of book in Korea?"
"Let me see, oh, this is a Chinese book, a book published by Zhejiang University Publisher. Hmm. The author graduated from Yale University. Oh, he used to be a college professor in the U.S."
"He is a friend of mine."
"Your friend?"
"Yeah. We became friends when I was in China. He is the same age as us."
"Really? He must be a good friend."
 
Jae-Sik scanned through the book.
"Assuming we publish this book, 2,000 of them will cost about 12 million won."
"It does cost a lot. What if we publish 1,000 of them?"
"It doesn't really matter how many you publish. It will make a difference only in the printing cost."
"Then what sort of costs are we talking about?"
"I think I talked to you about this before. The cost before the printing-out will be about 3,000 dollars. It's 3 million won. The translation cost will be another 3 million won. This book is 300 pages. Even though we assume the translation cost is 10,000 won per page, the translation costs about 3 million won. The remaining 6 million won is for design, proofreading, editing, printing, etc."
"Hmm."
"Publishing business is all about money as well. The person with more money would win. The more they publish, the higher chance they will have to get a best-selling book."
Gun-Ho was thinking for a moment, and then he suggested to Jae-Sik,
"Would you like to try to run a publishing company in Seoul? Then you don't have to worry about all those people here who are talking about you behind your back."
"A publishing company? I am not capable of running a business like that. In order to run a publishing company, you have to have some sense in selecting books, and you need to be good at sales. I can handle the publishing work itself though. I know I can do very well in that work."
"Hmm. Really?"
"I read the news yesterday online. The lady president of the famous publishing company—KimBooks—left the company. She is very famous in the field. She is known as the hand of Midas in the publishing industry. If you could find someone like her, that would be great."
"Why would a person like her leave the company then?"
"She seemed to not get along with the owner."
"Hey, can you find out her phone number for me?"
"Are you seriously considering having a publishing company? Running this factory should make you busy enough. A publishing work is very different from running a company. You don't make much money. You can't think it could be very similar to this factory business."
"Find out her phone number. Let's see how things turn out."
Jae-Sik looked at Gun-Ho in a suspicious way before he left Gun-Ho's office.

This is the story of a poor young man whose poverty even shreds apart their family willing to climb his way through society and into the top. A very realistic novel that moves away from fantasy and sci-fi and focuses solely on the issues of society and life.

"Annie! Is nice to see you. You look even better than the last time we met" A middle aged guy greeted my mother once we entered his office.  

"Oh Clark stop with your lies" My mother replied playfully. It was clear that the both of them were friends, or in really good terms at the very least. 

"And you must be the young genius I been hearing about... Mister Sam Bane" He said amicably, and then he offered me his hand to shake "I'm Clarke Cook, it's a pleasure to meet you" 

"Good day to you sir" I shook his hand firmly. Or with the most strength my seven year old self could muster. 

After the short interaction, I finally could relax a bit. For some reason, ever since yesterday night I was really nervous about this reunion. I guess that I really wanted for it to work out. 

"Take a sit please" He said after a while, with a never ending smile on his face. 

His office was a mess. I could tell that he worked hard, if the multiple papers all over his desk, and the big bags under his eyes were any indication. Still, it didn't gave much confidence on his organizational skills. 

"Thanks Clark" My mother replied. And before I could notice the mood changed. It was like the both of them went from normal mode to business mode, in just second. 

Before coming here, my mother just told me to let her negotiate in my behalf. And I planned to do exactly that, especially now with the professional aura she inspires. 

"Well, let's start with the book composition first" said Clark, "Annie, like you already know, I like the three stories you've sent me last week. They appeal to a younger demographic, which is  a group that is gaining traction lately. Although I have to say that these stories are too short to be released as books on their own. So, I propose to compile them. I think five stories could make a good sized book" 

It was reasonable. My stories were a little too short. I could've done them longer, but I wanted to keep them simple, considering that the target readers would be mostly kids. 

"That's a good idea. Although I think that the stories should have a common theme between them. For example, a book collection could be about princesses. Sam here has written about ten stories about princesses, so it shouldn't be a problem, right Sam?" My mother said, and tactfully helped me to get into the conversation. 

"Yes, there's no problem with that" I said calmly. Mr. Clark finally looked at me after that. He looked interested with that bit of news. 

"That sounds good to me. I'll need to read the five stories you plan to publish, so we can progress any further... But in an act of good faith of Sam's work, we can talk about the details of the deal we will be making" 

"What do you propose then?" Mother asked. 

He looked at me for a second before concentrating on my mother once again. Then, he brought up a paper he had at the only clear zone of his desktop, and passed it out to my mom. 

The contract I assume. I planned to read it on my own when my mother finishes it, but I couldn't help to look at her to see if I could get any information from her face expressions. Which ended up being a pointless endeavor. 

"Ha!" She exclaimed "I see your intentions Clark. If this is how it will be, let's stop here. We'll take our leave" My mother finally said. And then stood up from her seat and walked to the exit. 

I could only guess what unreasonable things were written on there. So for now I just followed her up. Although for some reason I felt that this wasn't the end of the discussion. 

"Wait!" Clark finally said, "I admit the contract may be a little unfair, but we can discuss it, no need to go away just like that" 

My mother turned back with a smirk on her face, "I'm surprised, I've heard a little about your situation Clark. But now with you flinching so quick, I'm wondering of how bad it really is" 

To my surprise it seems that we were not in the losing end of the negotiations to begin with. My mother really played him hard. Clark's face said all I wanted to know. He was mad, but he still stayed quiet about it. 

"Yeah, it's true. We are in need of a success, and that's the principal reason to even consider to publish a kid's book, besides the publicity within itself that it could generate" He admitted. 

"I've heard that all the upcoming writers choose to go with other companies, after all you've had a bad record in the last five years" My mother added while the both of us took a seat once again. 

"You really did your research, huh?" he said with a defeated look. "... I wanted to start my own comic book company, but at the end all the good artists preferred to go with either 'power comics' or 'marvelous', and before I realized, the book company I had spent so many years to build up, was on his way to bankruptcy" 

It was kind of a sad story, but also an amazing opportunity. If I played my cards right, maybe making my own comics wasn't impossible for me in the near future. 

"So, in your times of need you thought on cheating your good friend of so many years" Mother said while making 'tsk' noises, pointing the bad deed Clark has made, "Sam is young, so there will be no problem if he waits a couple of years to get published... So now I wonder, what deal could you offer us, so we can even consider making a deal with you" 

Clark clenched his jaw at that, and had a serious expression on his face. He kept quiet though, it seemed that he was seriously considering the matter. 

"What do you want?" He finally asked. 

"Twenty percent, and the rights will belong to him completely" Mother demanded. 

That was a extremely good deal, especially for a newcomer like me, asking for that much was out of my expectations.

"That's... acceptable. But Sam will have to publish at least four books with us" He countered. 

"Are you joking? Two is the most we are going to concede" Mother said with displeasure. 

That was something we had talked about before. If I was successful enough, I could go with a bigger publishing company in the future. And my mother had a high faith on my success for some reason. 

Now there was a clear disagreement between them. I honestly couldn't care less if I had to write four books for this company, with the new deal offered I would have no complaints. But I knew what I wanted. 

"How about I do publish four books, but you'll have to publish a comicbook of mine... With the same conditions as the one with the books" I interrupted them. 

The both of them stared at me with surprised faces. "What do you mean?" Clark asked after a while. 

"Well... I have this idea for a comic, and I felt compelled to do it after I heard that you own a comic company" I explained. 

"Are you talking about the one you've made with Hanna?" Mother asked me with a worried face. It was clear that she thought that it wasn't that great. 

It wasn't a bad comic per se, but I do agree that it isn't the kind of comic that sells well with the masses, nor profesional enough to be a comic on his own. But I'm aware which comics are the best sellers at this era, compared to my old reality.   

"No" I said, before Clark could have asked about it, "I have an idea for a superhero comic, but I don't have the talent to draw. So I thought it was a good compromise that if my books are successful enough, Mister Clark will hire an artist to draw my comic, and then he'll publish it" 

"That's interesting. What do you think Clark?" Mother asked with a simple smile on her face.  

This wasn't something we had discussed before, so I was relieved that she just went along with the idea. 

Clark just sighed and nodded with a smile of his own. Even if he tried to hide it, I could see that he was happy about the deal. In the end, he wanted both of his companies to succeed, and now there was a chance for it to be possible.

Samuel Bane, a guy who was just a normal 23 year old in another life, was living in a new world with his memory intact. 

The new world is almost exactly the same as the one he lived before, except that the period of time was similar to the mid 80's that he knew by the movies and tv shows he watched.

This story will focus on how Sam enters the entertainment business. Getting his works published and meeting new people on his way towards an unheard level of success. 

The concept of the story has inspiration in "I'm really a super star", but it's nothing alike.
