Obviously, many basic magic theories and foundations in the world of Harry Potter were similar to those in Diablo 2.
In fact, the two classes that used magic in Diablo had more official names. The necromancers were also called wizards while sorceresses were called witches (In the original version, there were only sorceresses and no sorcerers).
Although the two worlds had lots of differences, the basics and foundations were similar.
Even the materials for making magic wands were similar. In Diablo, necromancers usually used yew wands. Likewise, in Harry potter, yew wood was the main material in many magic wands.
Clearly, people had found that these two worlds were structured on the same system, which was why Jun Yangzi and the other artifact masters tried to obtain inspirations about the basic magic theories by watching this movie.
The amazing fantasy world, which was totally different from that of Diablo, was an extra bonus for them, let alone the fact that they could learn a lot of basic knowledge of magic and alchemy while enjoying the movie.
"Look! They fly by riding on brooms! Hahaha! It's funny!"
"Sir, how come people fly this way." While walking behind Mr. Fang, Jiang Xiaoyue burst into laughter.
All in all, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone gave them a cheerful and lively mood. Harry Potter's journey to Hogwarts to study magic with friends and the many adventures in this fantasy world were fun to watch. Even when Harry Potter fought Professor Quirrell, who was controlled by Voldemort, the viewers felt anxious but not depressed.
In their eyes, although the wizards and witches also used spiritual spells, could fly, and had long lifespans, they were not like cultivators.
While the cultivators aimed at going beyond their limit and achieving Dao, the wizard and witches were more like scholars who aimed to expand their knowledge and better understand the truth of the world by increasing their lifespan.
That was why they had schools, professors, and researchers. They also had different departments and houses with different systems of knowledge.

While they were expectant of young Harry Potter's growth, they wondered what other magical things would appear. For example, at the beginning of the movie, the old headmaster seemed to have used a spell that achieved teleportation. If the Philosopher's Stone could extend one's life and even give people eternal life, they wondered if the stone could be created in the real world.
After finishing the movie, they were all eager to watch the sequels.
Without them noticing it, the pleasant tour in the fantasy world ended in cheers and laughter, and many people felt like their moods were lifted.

The month before hogwarts was quite hectic for Harry. During this month Harry visited Diagon Alley several times under disguise. At first he visited Gringotts and made an appointment with the senior Potter accounts manager Griphook. During this visit he learned that the Potter family has two main vaults and his trust vault is filled yearly by taking money from these two vaults. He also learned that the Potter family has shares in many muggle and magical businesses all around the world. Due to this the Potter family has a steady income rate. Harry also learned that his parents have a will which he will be eligible to hear on his twelfth birthday. Unfortunately Harry cannot take anything out of his main vault unless it is stipulated in his parents will. He will also have to wait till his seventeenth birthday to claim lordship of his house. This was rather unfortunate as Harry was looking forward to reading the Potter family grimoire. As one of the most ancient and noble houses in magical Britain the Potter family was a goldmine of magical knowledge. The Potter family also has several properties and estates all around the world. Main of which is the Potter castle located in Scotland and a private island in the Pacific. Both the island and the castle are unplottable and the castle is under heavy wards. While these wards may not be as strong as the ones at hogwarts they are strong enough to hold off a full scale attack until the inhabitants can retreat to safety. Currently Harry was sitting in his room and preparing to summon the Potter families head elf.
Harry : Charles!
There was a pop sound and then stood before Harry a well groomed elf wearing a butlers uniform with the Potters crest on it. Charles bowed in front of Harry and said in a respectful tone,
Charles : Head elf of The most ancient and noble house of Potter greets young master Harry Potter. How can I serve you milord.
Harry : Greetings Charles can you please tell me how many elves are currently under the service of the Potter family and the current situation of the Potter estates.
Charles : Certainly milord. There are currently 50 house elves including myself in the service of the Potter family. The Potter estates are all being managed by the house elves and I am personally overseeing the maintenance of Potter castle.
Harry : Don't house elves need to bond with a wizard to sustain themselves ? How are all of you alive for all of these years.
Charles : We Potter elves are bonded to the family milord. We  are automatically bonded to the head of house or the last heir which is you.
Harry : How come you never came to ensure whether or not I was safe for all of these years ?
Charles : I am truly very sorry milord. I tried every possible method to find but you were hidden under very strong blood wards. The only reason I could find you today was due to the reason that you called me by name.
Harry : It's not your fault so no need to blame yourself. And please call me Harry.
Charles : Thank you for your kindness milord. But I'm afraid that I can never allow myself to call you by your name. My dignity as the head elf will not allow it.
Harry : *sigh* Very well call me sir then if you must. I have some tasks for you Charles. First of all I need you to assign a personal house elf to me. 
Charles snaps his fingers and another elf pops into my room wearing the same butler uniform as Charles but the crest on his uniform is located on the sleeve of his left arm while Charles has it on the breast pocket. 
Charles : This is Duffy sir, he will take care of your personal needs.
I turn to Duffy and say, 
Harry : It's nice to meet you Duffy I'm Harry Potter.
Duffy jumps excitedly and says,
Duffy : It is my honour to be the personal elf of Harry Potter sir. I will not let you down sir.
I smile and nod. Then I turn to Charles and say,
Harry : Secondly Charles I need you to make this room bigger and more comfortable and also put some locks in place so that no muggle can enter this room without my permission even while I'm away.
Charles : It shall be done overnight sir.
Harry : Thank you Charles, that will be all for now. You can take your leave. If anything urgent arises than you can find me in hogwarts.
Charles gives me another bow and leaves with a pop. I turn to Duffy and address him 
Harry : Duffy do you have any way to conceal yourself.
Duffy gives me a nod and says,
Duffy : Don't worry Harry Potter sir. Duffy will only be seen when you want him to .
Harry : Excellent Duffy. Can you please bring me some snacks for now.
-Scene Break -
The day before the start of term Harry approaches uncle Vernon and asks him to take me to Kings Cross Station. He just gives him a stiff nod and doesn't say anything. The next day Harry's carrying his trunk and Hedwig's cage in a trolley and arrive in front of the barrier dividing platforms nine and ten. The Dursley's are wondering how Harry intends to get onto platform nine and three - quarters. Harry doesn't say anything to them and breaks into a run. Just as he was about to crash into the barrier he disappeared from view. The Dursley's just stood still with shocked faces until Vernon finally said,
Vernon: Nutters the lot of them.
- Scene Break -
A scarlet steam engine was waiting next to a platform packed with people. A sign overhead said Hogwarts' Express, eleven o'clock. Harry looked behind him and saw a wrought-iron archway where the barrier had been, with the words Platform Nine and Three-Quarters on it. Smoke from the engine drifted over the heads of the chattering crowd, while cats of every color wound here and there between their legs. Owls hooted to one another in a disgruntled sort of way over the babble and the scraping of heavy trunks.
Harry boarded the train and kept walking until he found an empty compartment. He placed his trunk above and place Hedwig's cage in the seat beside him and thought about his plans in hogwarts. Harry wasn't going to be the meek and shy Harry Potter from canon. He was going to stand out and use his fame when the need arises. He also decided that he wasn't going to befriend Ron. He didn't have time for jealous parts with inferiority complexes. He was going to have to use a wait and see approach with Hermione though. Harry was brought out of his thoughts when a girl with brown hair and a cheery smile stuck her head into his cabin and asked if she and her friend could sit here. Harry gave a nod and she entered the cabin behind her entered the most beautiful girl Harry had ever seen. She had long wavy blonde hair and shining blue eyes. On her face was a mask of indifference but in her eyes Harry could see the excitement every child has when going to hogwarts for the first time. All in all she had a Ice - queen aura around her. Harry already knew who these two were but not wanting to give himself away he introduced himself. He turned to Daphne and said,
Harry : Hello. My name is Harry Potter.
Daphne's mask slipped for a moment at the revelation but she quickly slipped it back on with practiced ease. She took my offered hand and said ,
Daphne : Daphne Greengrass.
Harry brought her hand to his face and kissed her knuckles with his lips in a formal greeting and said, 
Harry : Pleasure to meet you Ms. Greengrass.
Daphne blushed a bit and Harry couldn't honestly blame her. Currently Harry looked very cute. His hair was cut in a way that while not as wild as in canon it still looked like it was in the wind a while ago. Harry had also visited a magical optician on one of his trips to Diagon Alley and he had managed fix his eyesight. So currently Harry gave of an aura of confidence wearing white trainers, blue jeans, a white shirt and a black leather jacket and his emerald green eyes in sight for all to see.
He then turned to her friend Tracy Davies and greeted her in the same way. Afterwards he sat back down in his seat and initiated conversation with the two. After a few minutes of polite full conversation Tracy finally asked the question that had obviously been plaguing her mind this whole time,
Tracy : If you don't mind me asking Harry where have you been this whole time.
Harry just smiled calmly and said ,
Harry : I don't mind Tracy. As for the answer to your question I was raised by my relatives in the muggle world.
Both Tracy and Daphne looked shocked at that but recovered quickly. They then continued to talk as the train left the station for their home for the years to come.

Harry finished reading the parchment and looked at Griphook, asked anxiously 
" I have a godfather?.... Where is he?"
With pity in his eyes, Griphook replied, " He is in Azkaban, a prison for the worst wizard criminals."
" Wha..at, what he did?"
"He was sent there for the charges of killing 11 muggles and betrayal of Potter's," said Griphook.
Harry was shocked and asked, "what do you mean by betrayal."
Griphook explained slowly, "sigh, it was believed Sirius black joined dark lord and told him where your family is hiding. He also killed his friend Peter Pettigrew."
Harry was enraged, grieved, and felt very sad. Tears are rolling in his chin. He took some time to calm down.
'wait, if he betrayed my parents, why he named me as his heir? For redemption? I need to know who he is, maybe I have seen him in my memories'
"Do you have a photo of him? or can you describe how he looks" asked Harry
Not knowing the reason for his request Griphook used his magic to produce a picture of Sirius black. [A/n like hologram]
'So, he is my godfather. I saw him in my memories. He looks enraged and asked Hagrid to handover me, but Hagrid refused. He then left saying something.'
After a few minutes of silence, Griphook said, " Sigh; if you are alright young Harry, we will continue our discussion regarding your inheritance."
Harry nodded.
"That parchment will explain only the amount of coins placed in vaults and your right of heirship. The books, artifacts, portraits, and other items placed in the vaults are shown only to the family's lords. All the properties and contents that belong to your family are kept in stasis. Once you reach 17 years old, you can claim lordship and activate the properties." said Griphook calmly and gave some time for Harry to register everything he said.
"Now you can claim heirship to The Ancient and most noble house of Potter and Black family," continued Griphook.
"How do I do that?" asked Harry
"Simple, you need to wear the family heirship ring." he brought two boxes which contain the heir rings.
Harry looked at the rings; one ring is made up of pure black material. The center of the ring is the black family crest of wand hand and crows enclosed in a shield. Canine creature surrounds the sides of the shield. At the bottom motto of the black was written in french, " Toujours pur," meaning "always pure."
Another ring is made of pure silver material. Which contains the Potter family crest of the wand in an inverse triangle-shaped shield. The family motto was written at the bottom of the ring, "Honneur et Gloire," meaning " Honour and Glory." (A/n: Potter family Crest and motto are self-made)
He first wore the Potter family ring on his right ring finger. The ring adjusted to his finger size and flashed a light for a brief second. The same happened for the black family ring, which he wore in his left hand.
"The rings are used to validate your claim of heirship of the family. Moreover, there are some charms added to the ring. The ring will protect the wearer from passive legilimency for a few seconds." explained Griphook.
"What is legilimency?" asked Harry
"Legilimency is the spell used to read minds. If you mastered the spell just by eye contact, you could read the opponents. It's challenging to master, mind magics. To date, those who mastered them are very rare, and few."
"Whatttttt..... Are you saying people can read minds...." shivered Harry at the thought of others reading his mind.
"Yes, young Harry, there are few people who can read minds. Occlumency is the only known spell to counter the legilimency," replied Griphook.
'I need to buy some books on mind magic and practice occlumency as soon as possible,' thought Harry.
As if understanding what Harry is thinking, Griphook smiled and said, "Books about mind magics are not available for sale. Only some noble families will have"
"Did yo...u read my mi....ind?? asked Harry in horror.
Griphook laughed heavily and said, "It's just a guess, young Harry."
Harry calmed down for a second and thought about how to get the book.
"As you are the only living person in the Potter family and you have claimed heirship, you will be given the family grimoire. It will contain your family history and some family magics. Maybe you will get what you need," said Griphook and gave a book to Harry.
"I suggest you read when you are alone, Harry. The grimoire will be with you only for 15 days. After that, it will disappear. You can collect the grimoire again if you need from me..... next year." chuckled Griphook
'With my memory, I can try to memorize all the contents in the book. I hope mind magic spells are recorded in the grimoire.'
"Now, your inheritance business is over. Do you need to discuss anything else, young Harry?"
"Yes, I need to check whether any tracking spells are placed on me," replied Harry.
Griphook raised his eyebrow in an inquiring manner and replied, "100 galleons for checking. And if curses or spells are found, additional galleons need to be paid to remove them."
Harry accepted. 'These greedy goblins, anyhow, I still have lots of galleons in my trust vault.'
Griphook took him to another room for checking.
There were some runes at the bottom of the floor. Harry was standing at the center of it. 
Griphook was standing near a podium that has a crystal ball. 
Griphook then started the runes, which made all the runes glow in the room. 
After some minutes, the runes stopped. Griphook became serious and looked at Harry. "There are some serious problems, young Harry. Your magic core is blocked such that you won't reach your full potential. And as you suspected, there are some tracking spells placed on you." 
Harry was shocked beyond belief. 'Why, why, why they do this to me. what I did to deserve to be treated like this.'
"Can you remove all these things from me? and what is this core?" asked Harry 
"Derails about the magic core will be explained in your grimoire, and yes, we have the means to remove it. But if we remove it, the person who placed the blocks on you will know it immediately."
Harry was silent after listening to that; Griphook didn't disturb his thoughts. The room became very silent. 
"Is there any other solutions available?" asked Harry. 
"Yes, for all the problems, there are solutions available. For the block in your core, we can modify it a little. To explain it, consider your core is in a cage. Because of the cage, the core can't increase its size. We can increase the cage's size so that even if it's present, it won't prevent your core growth." 
"I like this option," replied Harry 
"But this is only temporary. May be for four years, it won't give you any problem, but after that, you need to remove it if you want to improve," said Griphook.   
Harry nodded. And Griphook once again activated the runes in the room. This time many runes glowed, and strong magic fluctuations appeared in the room. Harry felt something moving in his body and didn't know what exactly. 
"It's done. For tracking spell, we can transfer it to other magical objects."
Harry accepted this solution. 
Griphook prepared some materials and asked Harry's blood. After a ritual, Griphook provided a green color coin to Harry. 
"This coin now contains the tracking spell. You need to power it with your magic once a week." 
Harry got that coin and examined it. It looks like a jade coin with some runes engraved in it. 
"How many gallons for everything," asked Harry
Griphook grinned and replied, "750 galleons."
Harry didn't care about the Griphook attitude and provided the galleons.
Griphook took Harry to his room once again.
while walking to the room, Harry asked, "I heard students should not use magic outside of Hogwarts is that true?"
"Yes, once you reached Hogwarts, a spell would be placed on your wand. If you use it outside Hogwarts, the ministry of magic will be informed. It is mainly for muggle-borns to prevent them from magical accident and exposure of magic to other muggles."
He looked at Harry meaningfully and said, "Be careful in Hogwarts; it was rumored the headmaster and potions professor are masters in legilimency,"
Harry was first shocked and replied, "Thank you for the remainder." 
Harry reapplied his makeup to hide his scar, went to his vault to take some more galleons, and left Gringotts with complicated feelings.

Harry Potter, due to some unknown reasons, developed intelligence, and rare magical talent at a very young age. How will it affect the wizarding world? Is it for the greater good?

P.S: This is the first time I'm writing a story. I'm writing this for fun. Updates will not be regular. English is not my first language.

When Harry entered the great hall, he stared around the hall and ignored the girl behind him who was trying to show off by telling whoever would listen about the enchanted ceiling. In Harry's opinion the hall didn't look that bad, it could be worse. His eyes glanced at the Ravenclaw table and gave Penelope Clearwater a small smile and a wink, it also had the side effect of making any nearby girls swoon.

'It's just too easy sometimes' Harry shook his head with amusement, his eyes landed on the Hufflepuff table and he saw several girls staring at him. Including Tonks, who was blushing furiously, her hair had unintentionally turned red as well. Harry couldn't hold back a grin, something which made her blush more.

Once Harry stopped along with all the over students, the sorting began. While the students focused on the sorting, Harry focused on the teachers table and the people on them, though if you wanted to be accurate he was focusing on their magical power. He focused on the five strongest in terms of magical strength.

The first was a woman with a few wrinkles on her face and her hair in a tight bun, Minerva McGonagall, transfiguration master along with Deputy head and head of Gryffindor. A powerful witch who easily demands the respect of others. Harry's mother and father were her favourite students and friends.

The next person only barely beat her, this person had black and greasy hair, he knew who this person was instantly. Severus Snape, potions master and teacher, master at occlumency, spy for Voldemort or Dumbledore depending on who you asked and ex-best friend of Lily Potter, Harry's mother. Harry was rather hoping the man tried to mess with him.

'That's the prat that called my mother a 'mudblood'' Harry's eyes darkened for a split second before he managed to regain control.

He then focused on the second strongest, a small man, Professor Flitwick. Half goblin, duelling champion and the favourite teacher of many. Lily Potter was supposed to be doing a mastery under him. His magic was pretty impressive for a man his age and size.

The next person was a man with a purple turban on his head, though Harry sensed there was something more about this person as he had two different magical signatures, one incredibly darker than the other though it felt weak, like it wasn't at it's full potential. Harry allowed his magic to search the person and he got his answers, this could be interesting.

Harry focused on the last person, this persons magic was the biggest and strongest of all the teachers. This was Albus Dumbledore, defeater of Grindelwald, headmaster, chief warlock, supreme mugwump and order of merlin first class. Voldemort's biggest enemy and regarded by many people as the best and strongest wizard alive.

"Harry Potter" A voice brought Harry out of his thoughts, he realised that he was being called up. He walked up to the stage, ignoring the whispers of the rest of the hall.

"That's Harry Potter?"

"The boy-who-lived?"

"I thought he had glasses"

"Oh he's so handsome!"

"I bet he's going to be in Gryffindor"

Harry gave professor McGonagall a small nod, before taking his seat, she gave him a small smile before popping the sorting hat on his head.

'Good evening Mr Potter' The sorting hat spoke in his mind.

'Good evening' Harry mentally responded.

'Now let's see here...my, my...you are difficult. I see your memories, you are quite a dangerous individual if you don't mind me saying so Mr Potter'

'I'll take it as a compliment' Harry smiled.

'Mr Potter, I am loath to put you in any house.' The hat confessed 'If I were to put you in Hufflepuff you'd have a legion of followers quicker than the other houses, you don't have the love of knowledge that Ravenclaws possess and I fear what you would do with the knowledge that you can gain. With Gryffindor you are likely to end up killing or seriously harming most of them.'

'And what about Slytherin?' Harry asked, if the hat thought that Harry would react to his comments in a negative way then he was wrong. Harry was close to laughing at the accurate descriptions that the hat gave.

'Slytherin, Slytherin' The hat sighed 'you could do great in Slytherin, just like any house. Slytherin could help you on the way to greatness. The last boy I met that was like you ended up being know as Voldemort, or you-know-who as most people call him.'

'Don't worry, I'll pick better names when I rise to power' Harry promised.

'Not what I meant' The hat sighed 'Mr Potter, I can't tell anyone about what I read in the mind of a student, though right now I wish I could. All I can do Is sort you to the best of my ability. I think it had better be...'

"SLYTHERIN!" The sorting hat shouted.

The whole hall went silent as Harry Potter, the boy-who-lived, was sorted into Slytherin. The Gryffindor's looked like someone killed their puppy, the Hufflepuff's, looked terrified, the Ravenclaws were curious and the Slytherin's were shocked.

As the sorting hat leaned down, it covered Harry's face, making it hard for people to see his very evil grin. Eventually the hat was removed by Professor McGonagall, she was a bit disappointed that Harry wasn't in her house but she was just glad the boy was in Hogwarts. She was glad that Harry looked quite healthy, the boy had his fathers face and hair and his mother's eyes. She could tell he was going to attract a lot of female attention with those looks, James would be proud.

Harry calmly made his way over to the Slytherin table, he took a seat next to Daphne Greengrass and was now sat opposite Isabella who sat next to Tracy.

"Ladies" Harry smiled at them.

"You're in Slytherin?" Tracy said, not fully over the shock.

"I believe so" Harry nodded as he looked around "unless I've accidently walked over to the Hufflepuff table" he added jokingly.

"So you're Harry Potter?" A blonde boy asked as he looked down his nose at Harry.

"You weren't paying attention to the sorting were you?" Harry shook his head while tutting his teeth.

"I am Malfoy" The boy introduced himself pompously "Draco Malfoy"

"Ah, the brother of the lovely Miss Malfoy" Harry glanced at Isabella who brightened slightly at being called 'lovely'.

"Ah, you've met my sister" Malfoy sniffed "don't worry about her, she's useless until someone decides to marry her. I don't know who would though, I mean besides being a Malfoy she doesn't have anything going for her, though I suppose her name is enough for her to get a decent pureblood" And just like that any happiness that was present vanished as the girl's shoulders slumped and her eyes fought against the tears that threatened to burst through.

"I don't know about that" Harry said in a conversational tone "I imagine a great many people would be interested in your sister, even without the name"

"Ha" Draco snorted "I don't see how anyone would be interested in her"

"I don't know, good looks and an intelligent mind, I don't see what's wrong with her" Harry looked at Draco as he talked but managed to sneak in a wink at Isabella who looked genuinely surprised at the fact that someone, the boy-who-lived of all people, was willing to defend her. Her father never defended her, in fact he initiated half of the talks based solely around insulting her while Draco initiated the other half. Her mother was the only one who didn't insult her, but she couldn't defend her either. Daphne and Tracy were her friends but they couldn't interfere in family matters full time and when they did Draco would just be worse when they weren't around.

Professor McGonagall watched as Harry Potter conversed with the other Slytherin's, it had been a big surprise for her to have the son of James and Lily Potter in Slytherin, there hadn't been a Potter in Slytherin for at least a hundred years. Though McGonagall wasn't too worried, she had met her fair share of students and there were good and bad in all houses, even Slytherin. She couldn't help the small smile that shoved itself on her face as she looked at the boy who reminded her of two of her favourite students.

Professor Flitwick made no effort to hide the smile on his face as he watched the son of his favourite student sit down and converse with the other snakes, the charms mater was of the same opinion as McGonagall when it came to the snakes. He was rather excited to be able to teach Harry Potter, he was hoping that the boy was like his mother, maybe even with a bit of his father in.

Professor Snape scowled as he saw the Potter brat sit at the Slytherin table, there was no way that the son of James Potter was a snake. He hated just looking at the brat, James Potter's face with Lily Potter's eyes, it's like the child was made just to torment him and give him nightmares. Also it rather annoyed Snape that the boy was much better looking than his father, he could just tell that the boy's arrogance would be just as big as his stupid Potter head.

Hopefully his snakes will be able to drive the brat out, and if they can't then he will do it himself. He could already see the stuck-up idiot strutting around the castle like he owned it.

Dumbledore watched with a smile and twinkly eyes that hid the thoughts going on in his head. Firstly he was glad that Harry Potter looked quite healthy and happy, Minerva gave him a lot of grief over his decision to leave Harry with his muggle relatives, but he knew it was for the best and he was glad to see Harry in such good condition. It appears that Petunia was indeed able to get over her hatred for her sister and raise the boy properly. He was glad he was proven right, he did worry quite a lot about what would happen if Petunia didn't care for the boy.

Today though, the boy had hit a little snag, while Dumbledore thought that Harry was going to be sorted into Gryffindor with a chance of Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw winning out, he knew there was a likelihood of Harry ending up in Slytherin. Truthfully Dumbledore had nothing against Slytherin, though he was now a little worried about how Harry would fare in the house of cunning. After all, many of the children there were the sons and daughters of death eaters.

Hopefully everything would work out okay, Harry needed to be the one to defeat Voldemort. The prophecy made that very clear, he needed to mold Harry into a saviour of the light. Admittedly something that will be much harder seeing as the boy is now in Slytherin but it can still be accomplished.

Soon Harry found himself in the Slytherin common room, it seemed a bit dull to him. It was dark and all that, but it seemed rather boring. He looked around while the other Slytherin's began talking to each other.

"So Potter" A fifth year prefect with horrible teeth strutted up to him, catching the attention of everyone in the room "I am Marcus Flint, I don't know how a filthy half-blood like you got into the noble house of Slytherin. but I think that..."

"Oh look a troll" Harry interrupted as he stared at he boy with a look of childish enthusiasm "I didn't know we'd be learning about trolls on our first day" A few people giggled at the comment.

"I am not a troll!" Flint glared at Harry.

"Well you look a bit too tall to be a goblin" Harry said as he looked at Flint with a confused expression "you have too many limbs to be a snake, judging by the state of you I don't think you're a house elf as they actually are pretty clean. You're not a centaur, too ugly to be one, what exactly are you?"

"I'm a human!" Flint growled

"Sweet Merlin!" Harry exclaimed in shock "Our race has clearly fallen beyond hope if we can classify you as one of us" More than a few people laughed and giggled as Flint turned red in embarrassment and anger.

"You think you're funny Potter?!" Flint demanded as he grabbed Harry by the collar and aimed his wand at him "Huh?! Say something funny now you little shit!"

"Something funny" Harry smirked

"What?" Flint blinked before understanding dawned on him "That is it!" Flint fired a spell at Harry designed to cause painful boils to appear on his face.

The rest of the common room watched as a bright light flashed between Harry and Flint, they then watched as Flint flew backwards and landed on the floor, yelling in pain as painful and big boils spread all over his face. The Slytherin's couldn't understand what had just happened as Harry had been shot point blank yet Flint was the one who suffered the effect of the spell.

"How pathetic" Harry said, his voice bored and irritated. He took out his wand, he flicked it and Flint went flying and crashed into a wall, he slid to the floor and entered unconsciousness. The Slytherin's had all entered a stunned silence, they couldn't believe how easily Harry had defeated a fifth year. There was also the fact that he cast silently, a skill not taught until sixth year at least. Two fifth years drew their wands, Harry flicked his again and they dropped to the floor in agony as their wand arms were shattered.

Harry walked to the centre of the room, he looked around before he kicked his left leg forward and allowed himself to drop backwards, however he didn't get to hit the floor as a chair formed just underneath him. Not just any chair, a throne. Black wood, green cushions and fitted into it and gold armrests with a snake's head at the end. Harry sat comfortably in the chair and stayed silent for a few seconds as the Slytherin's looked at him with fear and awe.

"I find myself disappointed" Harry confessed "I mean, I enter the house of the cunning and ambitious and the first thing I see is a troll trying to start a fight. I expected Slytherin to be more...civilised. Though if violence is the requirement for success in this house then..." Harry flicked his wand and Flint hit the wall again "I fell like I can work with it. But it is disappointing, I mean all of you Slytherin's go on and on about how smart you are. Then the boy-who-lived, defeater of the worst dark lord walks into your den and instead of biding your time and assessing if he was a threat, you decided to attack him instantly. Though I can understand why, you're all older and more experienced and you thought my victory over the dark lord was a fluke. Today I'm issuing a warning since it's the first day, next person who wants to test themselves against me...bring your best."

Harry stood up, the chair disappeared as he did so, Harry calmly walked up to Daphne, Tracy and Isabella, the girls were in a corner and couldn't back away as he approached.

"Ladies" Harry said "I shall see you tomorrow" He gave them a short bow and smile before walking off and up to the first year boy rooms.

In Slytherin each boy had their own room, Harry checked each of the first year rooms, he then took the biggest and best one, usually reserved for the best or most influential/impressive student in that year. Harry doubted anyone was going to be able to take it away from him, he looked around the room, it would do for now.

That night Tonks was struggling to sleep as she laid in her bed, her dorm mates had all fallen asleep but she was awake because images of a green eyed boy kept shooting into her mind.

She only wanted to find a compartment to sit in, the next thing she knew she had some how gotten into a conversation with Harry Potter. Then she had told him her first name, she hated her first name, 'Nymphadora' was not a name you wanted when you're with people who have no problem making fun of you, that name plus her metamorph powers made everyone view her as either a slut or boyfriend stealer. She had only gone on few dates with different boys and only kissed two her whole life, until she sat in that compartment.

The feeling she felt when she was with him was indescribable, it was like pure happiness, even worse was the fact that it was addictive, she could already sense the desire to go back to him. When they touched her magic felt good, better than it had ever felt, like it was suddenly alive. She tossed and turned, until eventually she lay on her stomach with her face stuffed into her pillow. Eventually she raised her head with a small groan.

"You..."A deep voice spoke softly as she suddenly felt someone's breath against her neck "are mine Nymphadora" The voice said.

Tonks turned around at a lightning speed and sat up, only to find nobody was there. Her room mates were still sleeping, the door was still closed, so were the windows. She looked around and nearly jumped backwards when she caught sight of herself in a mirror, her eyes had turned green, the same emerald green of Harry Potter's eyes. She concentrated and a second later she had brought them back to their usual unusually violet colour.

"What the hell was that?!" She whispered to herself as she still kept looking around the room. 'Was I dreaming?' She wondered 'No, I didn't fall asleep yet. How did he get in my room? He couldn't have, no, I must be imagining things. Though...I know I'm definitely not going sleep now.'

"Why did you attack Harry with a bludger?" asked Evan
"What do you mean by that Evan!"
Harry became angry once more, "Were you trying to kill me with the bludger?"
"I would never kill sir!" said Dobby, "Dobby was trying to save Harry Potter's life, you are better hurt than staying here."
"Dobby wanted to hurt you enough so you would go back home!" said Dobby with a little fear, "But Dobby failed, Harry Potter's friend attacked Dobby with a spell, so Dobby had to suspend the magic."
"Luckily Evan attacked you." said Harry angrily, "Otherwise, I would most likely be sent home."
"I wish Harry Potter knew!" said Dobby with tears rolling down his face on to his tattered pillowcase, "I wish he knew how much he meant to our humble, enslaved race in the wizarding world! Before the one who must not be named was defeated, we house-elves were treated like pests!"
Evan listened to Dobby and the tragedy that house elves are, he felt awful, he also saw Hermione's brow become even more wrinkled.
"Of course, they still mistreat us." said Dobby as he wiped his tears on his pillowcase, "But on the whole, our lives have improved greatly since Harry Potter defeated the one who must not be named. This was the light in the dark for the ones who thought the dark days would never end, Harry Potter shines like a beacon of hope within the dark."
"But is this any way to repay your benefactor?"
"Harry Potter doesn't understand, terrible things are about to transpire. Dobby can't leave Harry Potter here because history will repeat itself since the Chamber of Secrets is open once more…."
"You said the Chamber of Secrets?" shouted Harry and Hermione in unison.
Then Dobby apparated to a desk and begun fiercely inflicting pain on to himself, but Evan soon stopped Dobby's self-harm.
"Bad Dobby, Bad Dobby, Bad Dobby, Very bad Dobby" muttered Dobby
"How much do you know about what's in the Chamber of Secrets?" asked Hermione eagerly.
"Why am I in danger, I am not Muggle-born?" asked Harry
"Dobby cannot say anymore, don't ask more, don't overthink it!" stammered Dobby
"In short, people are plotting things, things that will put Harry Potter and his friends in danger, Harry Potter must not stay here. Please go home, Harry Potter! Go home, Harry Potter! You must not meddle in this matter; they are too dangerous!"
"Who opened the Chamber of Secrets?  Who's plotting the conspiracy?"
"I cannot say more, I absolutely cannot say more" Screamed Dobby loudly, "Go home, Harry Potter, Go Home Harry Potter,"
"I can't go, I'll stay here and not go anywhere. Two of my best friends are Muggle-born, Evan, and Hermione, and if the Chamber of secrets is really open then they will…."
"Harry Potter is willing to risk his life for his friends! How noble, how brave!" Cried Dobby with sadness and joy but he must make Harry and his friends go home.
Evan suddenly had a bad feeling, he saw that Dobby stretched out his finger, everything in the classroom trembled.
"What are you doing, Dobby?" said Evan as he pulled out his wand
"Harry Potter and his friends must be sent home, even if Dobby is punished, I do not care!" said Dobby as he waved his fingers forward causing the tables and chairs to shoot out at the three.
It was truly spectacular; it was like arrows raining down on them. Harry and Hermione were petrified, they didn't understand how a pitiful and humble, little house elf became so terrifying.
"Protego!"
Evan's wand shot out a red light and hit a table that was flying toward them causing it to bounce backward and crash.
"Don't just stand there, this is serious!"
After hearing Evan, Harry and Hermione pulled out their wand and started casting spells.
But this didn't work, over eighty chairs and tables were under Dobby's control, they were surrounded by them, the three young wizards casting spells didn't even manage to open a gap so they could not rush out.
A few seconds later, the three people were pushed tightly together, gasping for breath, casting so many spells were taking its toll on them, they looked like they had just run a marathon.
"Dobby stop, you are going to kill us," begged Hermione
"Harry Potter must leave Hogwarts, and there is no alternative to this," said Dobby as he stared at them with his big eyes, "Promise, sir, promise you will leave, or you will be hurt and sent home."
Evan never thought Dobby's request would be so lethal. There was no doubt in his mind when Harry refused, the table and chairs would fly over and hit them in the next second.
If you get hit, it is not as simple as being hurt.
"He's crazy, what should we do?"
"This is the Defence against the Dark arts classroom, maybe Professor Lockhart will hear the sound and come running to help us," said Hermione with great anticipation.
"I would rather Snape!"
"Please, go home, Harry Potter. You cannot stay at Hogwarts this year because of the plot," said Dobby once more in a shrill voice.
"Damn it, who orchestrated this plot? Who let this Crazy house elf out?" gasped Harry
Evan had a bright idea and shouted, "It's Malfoy, it's Lucious Malfoy who sent you, right?"
All the tables and chairs fell to the ground with a bang, Evan's words seemed to have frightened Dobby.
"Do not mention the name of master, Dobby revealed the secret of master's family, Bad Dobby, Bad Dobby!"
Dobby picked up a chair and started to intensely beat himself with it and disappeared from the three's sight.
Evan, Harry, and Hermione looked at each other before they hurriedly ran out of Defence of the Dark arts classroom before Dobby had the chance to come back.

"I fought and killed a basilisk in my second year. Someone opened the chamber of secrets and it was petrifying students. It petrified my friend and my other friends' sister was taken in to the chamber so I went to get her out" he said looking at the floor. "I got bit by the snake as I stabbed it and Fawkes, that's Dumbledore's phoenix, cried into the wound" he finished breathily.

Arcturus shook his head. "It seems we have much more to discuss Mr Potter" he said. "How did you find the chamber" he asked.

"We spoke to moaning Myrtle in the second floor bathroom. She was killed by the basilisk the last time it was opened in there so we figured the entrance was there. It was using the plumbing to get around the school" he said.

"Hmm" Arcturus mused. "And how did a 12 year old enter the chamber when many more experienced wizards have failed to even find the entrance" he asked even more curiously.

"You have to be a parselmouth to open it" Harry replied quietly.

Arcturus coughed in surprise but schooled his features again quickly. "So you're a parselmouth?" he asked quietly.

"Yes" Harry answered ashamed. "Dumbledore says that I got the ability from Voldemort when he hit me with the curse the first time and it backfired" he explained.

"There have been parselmouths' in the Black line but not for several hundred years" Arcturus explained firmly. "We are related to the Slytherins by blood but very distantly now. We married into a lower branch of the family centuries ago so it may be a blood trait. Your magic has changed and I am guessing if that ability came from Riddle then it will no longer be there" he said looking questioningly at the goblin who had been very quiet for the past few minutes.

He shook himself from his stupor before answering.

"I believe that would be the case. Any traits both positive and negative would have been removed along with the… essence left behind" he sighed noticing a look he was given by Arcturus. "There is only one way to find out" he stated summoning a small adder. "Speak" he added to Harry.

Harry looked at the snake and gulped before clearing his throat to speak. "Hello there friend" he hissed.

" A ssspeaker" the snake replied. "You have the ssscent of the great one about you. How may I ssserve?" the snake finished questioning Harry.

"I jussst needed to know if I could ssstill ssspeak to snakesss" he began. "My magic hasss changed and I wasn't sssure if I could anymore" he finished.

The snake shook its head looking amused. "Silly human thiss iss a part of your magic only thossse from the sssnake line can ssspeak it but even in the line it is rare now, too much mating with your own kind hasss soiled the magic" it finished eliciting some laughter from Harry.

"What did it say" asked the goblin.

"It said it is my own magic but…" he stammered.

"But?" asked Arcturus impatiently.

Harry steeled himself before replying.

"He said that it is very rare now even in the Black bloodline because of continuous imbreeding, it has corrupted the magic" he muttered, stifling his laughter.

Arcturus looked murderously towards the snake before vanishing it with a simple wave of his wand.

"Well that explains it" he said. "It's your own magic. I'm guessing your father marrying your mother removed any impurities from both bloodlines and awoken the dormant magic. It will be a significant advantage for you when in battle just not against Riddle. I will get the parselmagic books from the Black vault while we are here" he finished nodding his head.

"What became of the basilisk Mr Potter" the goblin asked inquisitively.

"It's still in the chamber" he answered. "Only me and Voldemort can get in there".

"How big was it 20 feet? 30 feet?" he questioned.

Harry though for a moment before answering. "I would say it was closer to 70 feet" he replied nonchalantly.

Both Arcturus and the goblin shared a similar look before the older man addressed Harry.

"Are you sure about that Potter?" he asked sceptically.

"Yes" Harry replied heatedly. "Take my memory if you don't believe me" he finished crossing his arms.

The goblin shrugged at the older man who placed his wand at Harry's temple. "

Think of being in the chamber and fighting the basilisk" he demanded.

Harry did as he was told and felt the memory being pulled from the side of his head. He watched as the goblin summoned a pensieve and the two disappeared into it after Arcturus added the memory to the basin.

They both emerged several minutes later wearing similar expressions of shock. Arcturus looked at Harry with something he could only describe as pride.

"Just like your grandfather" he said proudly. "There was some luck there Potter but you definitely have skill" he added looking at Harry more intently.

"Yes Mr Potter that was very impressive" the goblin chimed in. "I would like to negotiate a price for the carcass of the basilisk as you killed it it is rightfully yours" he finished completely in business mode.

"I have no idea how valuable that would be" Harry said sheepishly.

"The last whole basilisk sold for around 3 million galleons but that was some 400 years ago" the goblin said frowning. "The parts from that snake are still in circulation and I imagine a fresher specimen would garner much interest especially one of this size. I can confidently offer you 8 million galleons for it, it is a very fair price and that added to the current value of your vaults would make you a very wealthy wizard Mr Potter. You will be able to live a very comfortable life as will many more Potter generations without having to ever be employed" he finished.

Harry looked towards Arcturus who simply shrugged his shoulders at the boy.

"That seems fair". Harry answered. "I don't know what I would do with a big snake corpse anyway".

"Excellent" the goblin replied clapping his hands together. "We can arrange a visit to collect the beast" he concluded.

"Can we go down to our vaults now?" Arcturus asked. "We are somewhat pressed for time" he pointed out.

"Of course" the goblin replied. "I will take you down personally".

The trip down to the vaults was exactly how Harry remembered. The cart on the single winding track was as exhilarating as his first journey. The only difference was the depth in which they travelled. Harry realised they must have made their way to the lowest point in the bowels of the underground cavern, it must have been miles below the surface.

They came to a stop outside a vault that was simply eerie. The door was a huge slab of oak decorated with an intricate obsidian pattern around the hinges and iron fixtures. In the centre of the door was a crest which Harry assumed belonged to the black family. It was faded considerably to the point of that the details could not be seen very well, demonstrating its age. Below the crest were to words; Toujours Pur.

"Vault number 13" Barchoke announced at their arrival.

"Come Potter" Arcturus said. "You have enough Black blood to enter" he stated confidently.

As they approached the door the older man gently stroked his family crest lovingly but with a mournful look on his face. He swallowed hard and his impassive mask was back in place. He removed his wand from his sleeve and placed it against the crest. The door glowed a gentle orange and then blue before a series of locks could be heard unfastening.

The door opened slowly revealing a room that seemed endless in size. Harry was taken aback by the amount of wealth on display but couldn't help but feel a sense of dread in the room.

"Do not touch anything" Arcturus instructed. "There are things in here that will take your life before you can blink and they are the more pleasant items" he finished seriously.
