How can a man live his life truly, if not to live to the last breaths with everything he has, that so he would be fulfilled. And how can we survive this society, alone, like wolves in the freezing snow, fighting till they fall.
And how do each of us see this world, that still find the beauty of it, and smile, like that soft stone face of the rock angel in a cemetery, looking towards the void in the heart of human, still seek for the warm for lonely nights, oh lost.

She  was forced to wake up early, by the bears. "This is our territory! Now scram!"
    "Okay jeez."
    Alpha went through the thick wall of trees. Found a pond, ate fish, and drank water. She was ready, but she also had a heavy weight in her shoulders. Facing her little brother after her parents deaths, and the adventure she'd just been through, and what he did to her. But she was ready. "I'll do whatever it takes to make things right again even…."  there was a sudden hesitation in Alphas voice b as she thought of one of the outcome what would happen. "Even.. even if I have to…" She couldn't finish, but she knew what would happen if she did do that. She tried not to think of that outcome, so she put it to the side. Stretching like any dog would do in the morning. She got ready for the fight, well if there even was one.
    "That will be a high chance, come to think of it." confirmed Alpha. 
    She started heading West, deeper into the forest, to meet her pack. "They may, or may not know I'm coming, but I'm ready. I trained with the best animals out in theses parts of the wilderness, and I've grown up too. So bring it on Rocky!"
    
    

    "Sir, the wolves haven't come back yet."
    "Well we don't need them any more!"
    "Sir, what are you saying?"
    "I'm saying we need to move on. She's coming! If they're not back, the she did something to them." 
    "Are you sure? Do you need me to ready our wolves?"
    "MY wolves! Yes, ready them while I wait for her to be here, howl when she does."
    "Yes sir." 
    With that, thunder began to roar as tear-like drops fell from the heavens with an almost hypnotic rhythm. The ground, which had been cracked and dry from the unusually hot season, became soft and cold, it's earthy aroma lifting to the sky, only to be blown by the wind which was picking up, howling like a mourning wolf. As if told to, Barrow, Birch, Hunter, Freedom, and Billy all looked up in unison to the top of the mountain, all silently praying that Alpha was still alive. 
 She ran out of the cave to ready the pack. Rocky paced around, mad for his plan had failed, and worried that she might win. Five minutes later Rocky heard a howl from the distance. He ran out of the cave, and readied himself, not aware of what is going to happen next. 
"Where is she?"
    "We don't know, we heard a tree branch snap, and alerted you."
    "SO she's not HERE yet!"
    "She might be."
    "Open up the circle so I am out in the open."
    She howled the call, and the wolves moved.
    "SHOW YOURSELF ALPHA!"
    "I'm your sister Rocky." She said quietly to not make her lose her position in hiding.
    "Fine then, COME OUT SISTER!"
    "No, you know this is wrong, just change."
    "Never. Fight me!"
    "No, this isn't you."
"Wolves are built to fight, and conquer so…"
"Stop this madness!"
"No, this is who I was meant to be my whole life. I just couldn't do anything because of the things that were in my way."
"You just had to ask."
"Those who get in my way, die!"
"So you want a fight?"
"YES! Who will win?"
Alpha jumped over the rock she was hiding behind. Twice the size of Rocky, she bared her teeth, and pressed her claws out. The wolves back away in terror, Rocky yet out a small yip. But despite his size Rocky showed all of his "weapons", and faced her head on. The siblings walked in a circle.
    "We could talk this over."
    "It's too late now Alpha!"
    "You'll never  a change."
    "I didn't need to, and I didn't want to."
    "Just think over it."
    "No, I already thought it over, long and hard."
    "I don't want to fight you."
    "Then don't, that will be easier for me to end you again, once and for all."
    "I must do what's right, that's how I was raised."
    "Well I've changed, why wont you?"
    "Well I've had enough!"
 With a loud bark Alpha pushed Rocky towards the end of the Cliff. 
"Do you want to end how I did brother?"
    "Just finish me off." Rocky snapped at Alpha, missing by very little. Alpha pushed Rocky off the cliff to his death, for he was weak, and due to climate change, it was a steeper and heavier fall. With a sickening thud, that was the last time wolves would see Rocky alive. Alpha backed away from the edge of the cliff, devastated by what she did. She walked past all the wolves, somewhat raising her head, and hunching over in defeat. There was silence. Then one by one wolves began to celebrate in joy as a terrible dictator just died, from a rightful heir. 
    "Long live Alpha, Long live Alpha!" Chanted all the wolves over, and over again.  Alpha walked to the cave, and sat rightfully on the throne, made out of rocks. With still a burden in her heart, Alpha was the new leader of the Columbine pack.

After a week of walking, the wolves reach the headquarters of the rebellion. Situated in neutral territory between the Land of Fura, and the neighboring country, it is divided by a long stretch of mountains. 

"Wait, I heard there are dragons that live in these mountains and guard this territory." One of the wolves says.

"That's just a myth, but it does keep the humans away from this place." Hakan replies.

They make their way through the forest with Hakan leading the group. Many of the new wolves they freed, wonder how he knows where to go without a distinct path to follow. Before long, they reach a large chasm that runs straight through the mountain. Walls on both sides that stretch upward as far as the eye can see.

Fissures in the walls are everywhere, each one narrower than the chasm they are walking through. They all seem to go a lot deeper into the mountain, making it seem like it would be a maze if you wandered in too far. 

"How does something like this form?" Fenrir asks.

"From what I've heard from the dwarves that live here, something as big as splitting an entire mountain in half doesn't occur naturally."  Hakan says as he points at the walls. "If you look closely, you can see that the rock is smooth and almost looks like glass. No one knows for sure, but it seems like it was cut using magic."

"Something this big was made by humans?" One of the wolves says. 

"Maybe, maybe not. Recently, more evidence indicates that magic beasts roamed uninhabited places like this far longer than we thought. Probably brought here accidentally by the ones who made the magical artifacts long ago." 

"It's hard to imagine something was strong enough to cut a fucking mountain in half." 

"I'm not an expert on rock formations. I'm just relaying information that I've been told." 

Hakan leads them into one of the fissures, and they eventually come across a large structure chiseled into the face of the wall. Two dwarf guards are standing by the entrance, their short stature makes them look less dangerous than they actually are. As they approach, one of the guards clears their throat and speaks. "I see that you brought more refugees Hakan, I take it that you informed them of their duties for staying here." 

"Actually, I didn't tell them yet." Hakan replies. 

"How many times do we have to tell you? You can't just do whatever you want here, there are rules. So before I let any of them in, we have to go over the rules." The dwarf stares at the newcomers while stroking his long beard. "First of all, there is no fighting allowed inside. This is a safe haven for all magical beasts as well as humans who want to trade with us. Second, if you plan to stay here for long periods of time, then you need to contribute to earn your keep. And third, this is more of a warning than a rule, don't drink too much dwarven ale, it's much stronger than the alcohol beverages humans make."

"A safe haven, you told us that this was your headquarters." One of the wolves says. 

"Well, our headquarters is inside. No humans will bother us here, the dwarves will make sure of that." Hakan says. "With that being said. Since we are staying here, we have to help them keep order within. That also includes helping fight battles. They help us, so we help them." 

"Won't the humans try to retaliate if they find out that we are bringing freed wolves here?" Fenrir asks. 

"Unlikely." The dwarf answers."This is neutral territory, and it's home to the largest trading center next to the capital. The humans buy many rare metals here that they can't mine themselves.   If they attack us, their supply would be cut short. But if they did attack, we have an army to defend this place. Why do you think we are taking all of you in?"

The other guard that has been quiet to this point now has fallen asleep and is snoring. He is only being held up by his sword that is now digging into the ground. "Hey wake up, I told you not to fall asleep." 

He wakes up in a confused state. "Oh, what? I guess I must have dozed off again. I haven't had my morning ale to keep me going through the day."

Fenrir is trying to figure out how drinking would keep a dwarf awake. But before he can come up with an answer, they are lead inside the stronghold. Once inside, the group is met with an array of dwarves all hammering metal into the forms they desire. The long hallway is in the shape of a perfectly symmetrical trapezoid, this design provides some stability to the hollowed-out section. On the ceiling, orbs of light are used to illuminate the cave using a form of magic. 

"This is one of the many back doors into the stronghold, once we get to headquarters, I'll show you the entrance we normally use." Hakan says.

As they continue further into the cave, they come across a large cavern. However, unlike the rest of the cave they have seen, this part is lined with smooth cut stone. Corridors surround the cavern, leading in different directions. The cavern looks like a lounge for wolves to hang out and relax, and that's exactly what many wolves who are already here are doing. 

"This is the lounge area, down these many halls are the sleeping quarters." Nia says as she steps in front of the group to address them. "Before we go any further I will need to write down all of your names." 

Nia goes up to each wolf asking for their name and writing it down on a piece of paper. All except for Fenrir who she already met. "Alright follow me." Says Nia. 

She leads the group down one of the many hallways, Hakan follows behind the group. She stops at a door, opens it and motions to the rest to enter. The room is filled with chairs surrounding a large round table. Skoll sits next to  Lokota on the other side of the room. 

Fenrir starts to get nervous, his heart starts racing at the chance that Skoll will recognize him after all these years. Lokota stands up and addresses the new wolves. 

"First of all I want to welcome all of our new recruits. Of course, it is your choice if you wish to join us or not. We are looking for strong soldiers to join our cause by helping to free our species. That being said, I want to see how strong each and every one of you are. So starting tomorrow morning, we are going to have a sparring match. That is all, dismissed." 

As the wolves leave to the room, Nia apologizes for Lokota's militaristic speech. "I'm sorry, he's just used to addressing new recruits like that back in his army days. He is usually more friendly when he gets to know you." 

The door opens, Lokota walks over whispers into Nia's ear and walks back into the room. "Fenrir, it seems like they want to talk to you" Nia says. 

Fenrir's heart starts beating faster. 'Shit, I should have known it was a long shot to expect Skoll not to recognize me. Well, it's time to get this over with.' 

Fenrir follows Nia into the room, Lokota and Skoll are both standing on the other side of the room. Skoll is the first to speak. "Tell me Fenrir, what happened to Luna?"

In a world filled with magic, the human race has yet to encounter any magical beasts until now. With the creation of the first werewolves, how will this world change, for the better or worse only time will tell. One thing is certain though, the events that are about to transpire will change the course of history forever.

Turning his massive muscular body swiftly glaring at the scrawny wolves because of the lack of nutritions making the cloth unable to cling on to their unhealthy bodies. The King produced a purple flame with his bare hands hurling it toward the Wolves causing a terrified shriek. 

The King laughing wholeheartedly while the chains on the wolves feet shook with fear, turning back to his prior position. The Royal King fixing the purest of white wolf fur coat covering his bare chest. The Wolves continued to dip there rags into liquid gold and polished their masters walls.

 The Royal Queen displayed right next to the King, in a loose-fitting dress with a slit cut on the bottom exposing her smooth toned right leg while it settles on top of her left leg. The Queens black voluminous curly hair with a champagne crown on top of her head, flipping her curls back with a seductive shrug. Glancing up revealing the side of her jawline and high cheekbones and perfect sharp nose. 

Opening those spellbinding crystal purple eyes as she blinks fluttering those full eyelashes. The Royal Queen is the symbol of beauty and elegance with just a simple gaze of her purple eyes ,her prey are suddenly bewitched by them forcing her prey to do whatever she pleases. The elegance the perfection of a Queen is impeccable, just the way her  lips open to harness air into her lungs provoking her breasts to rise up. The way the Queen moves with serenity as if the universe revolves around her. As the wolves fan the Queen giving her gentle breeze as she smirks knowing that the wolves are weak in her presence.

As their  young prodigies stand behind the King and Queen shadows placing their right hands on there soon to be the throne. Watching every move from their parents on how to rule when it becomes their kingdom.

Even the all-powerful royal has a weak point. As Royals begin to create a kingdom the royals became the life source of their kingdom. If too many royals leave the kingdom all at once the gates that protect their people will become frail and fall down and the crops will die. The river will be coated with lead and all the animals will seize to exist including their people.

The King and Prince are allowed to leave the walls of their kingdoms but Queens and Princess must stay and be that life source. The Queens and Princess are forbidden to ever step foot in the human world.  The two young Royals have been given a role when they are born, girls are born to be educated and full of grace and when they are old enough to marry and have children for the next era. The Prince are trained to become the next leader and a master of war to know all the enemy's weakness.


This Royal kingdom has been here since the first-ever Royal. This kingdom lies in the center of everything, it's the true heart of the creature's world.  

The Second Kingdom of Royals lie in the far side of the East.


The Royal kingdoms hold so much glorious riches but not money. The view of trees high as the sky and the meadows of the sea of green more valuable than money. The water is clear as the whites diamond and breeze fresher than the oceans. Everything inside this kingdom has breath, if you close your eyes and listen you could here the woods, the river, and even the stones on the floor .... you can hear them breathe.

Elves{Protecters}

Elves have a unique marking somewhere on their body to determine they are Protectors. The sole purpose of Elves is to travel with the Royals as bodyguards and to defend the Queen and Princess when the men leave. Elves will sacrifice their lives for the royals. At a young age, Elves are sent to a camp to learn how to perfect their abilities. 

Elves are gifted with unimaginable strength and lighting fast reflexes along with long pointy hears to hear from miles away. In this camp, the walls are stone white along with everything else. The walls are as tall as the sky they can't see the trees or birds just white walls.

They are forced to fight one another to the death to pick off the ones that aren't built for war. They are forbidden to show any kind of emotion or to become friends with any other elves. These creatures with sharp ears and athletically toned bodies are simply walking soldiers. As they perfect there abilities which is by age 10, they are sent to a military camp to learn strategies of war and are put through a simulation of torture to be immune to any kind of pain. 

Then they are sent to the highest education as the royals and when they hit twenty-one they give their life to the royals to forever protect them. The Elves Kingdom lies in the west and as well as the camps.



Witches and Warlocks {Healers}


Witches and Warlocks are descended from the royal family. During the process of developing the next era of Kings and Queens, the offspring must reach a specific standard to become the next prince or princess. If the baby doesn't grow to a specific height, a specific weight and if they do not have cheekbones or a jawline nor long eyelashes or doesn't have enough power or that the baby has an imperfection anywhere on their body by the age of 6-12 years old. 

The Royals erase there memory and calls for the Elves to throw them on the streets unable to come back. Witches and Warlocks are to believe they are born by the soil from the ground like a tree.

Witches and Warlocks can't produce magic from within and depend on any kind of object to use their magic. There's  one special abilities that no other creature can see is that some plants can save lives but only witches and warlocks can touch. The fact that they can see it Royals deemed them to be healers. When anybody gets hurt witches can help them but is forbidden to heal wolves and if they disobey the law they are sentenced to death or become slaves like wolves.




Vampires {Bounty Hunters}

Vampires don't have any real powers. All they do is people's dirty work especially the Royals. If People from there kingdoms leave without the Queens or Kings permission the creature will be hunted down and killed or to be enslaved. Many creatures wanted to take down the King and Queen. If the Queens suspects anyone trying to revolt the consequence is to be hunted down.  The Royals will give the Vampires who do their dirty work and complete the task will be given a ring to walk in the sun. Other species will hire Vampires just to kill a specific person and pay to do it.




One kingdom that no other creature has entered is the Aqua-kingdom. Only sea creatures live there and it constantly moves. There are only records of water creatures but no knowledge of how the kingdom looks because if someone actually makes it in they never come out.



Other Creatures {The Unworthyes}

These are the untameable creatures that lurk the forest and have no rules just living in their savage way  .if they wish to become civilized people in the kingdom walls they must bare a mark and they will give up their savage traditions.

Snake women will desire her prey by looking like a goddess or a helpless creature needing help. That's how she will trap her prey and she feeds on negative energy and pain and secrets. The Snakewomen especially loves sexual desire.

Trolls have skin as hard as a rock and stone-cold eyes with bottom fangs. Don't look into their eyes or your worst fear will come to life and become paralyzed.

Tiny Sea Creatures with ears like fins and big eyes with no pupils and stained colored lips. They speak a different language. They really have no power but their eyes show the future and the past.

Hawk people, their wings bigger than their bodies. People say they can kiss the stars that's how high they can fly. If the hawk people wish to live in the walls they must wear metal boots limited to fly up high in the sky.

Eels that are blue lights that swarm that turn into electric people.

Ogres are like dwarves harmless but they like to take shiny things.

Forest people love to dance but if they want to live in the walls they must wear clothes.

Mermaids are forced to become human never to touch water again only if they want to  live in the walls.

Star people play the flute and make the stars dance. Then they steal stuff if they wanted too. If they want to live in the walls they aren't allowed to have their magical flute. They are given a bamboo flute must be metal to let the stars hear it.

....And much more exquisite creatures that were never tamed.







Wolves {Slaves}

The wolves are nothing. 

The wolves are nothing.

The wolves heard this a thousand times and it stung into their flesh and bones.
Engraved in their minds. The wolves believe they are nothing.

But a long time ago wolves were magnificent creatures. They could change to man than to a great noble beast. 

The wolves used to protect the Royals and actually befriend them but something happened that changed that forever.

One day a wolf fell in love with the royal princess but hid it from the world. The princess was forbidden to leave her walls but that didn't mean the lovers couldn't sneak around within the walls. They snuck around like human teenagers lurking in the dark shadows to sneak a kiss but soon this kiss led to more than just an innocent peck on the lips.

Soon the lovely princess grew a bump on her stomach and days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months. That fateful day when the baby arrived everyone was disgusted at this creature.

The baby had sharp canine teeth and a tail with no fur, so many imperfections. The baby that was going to be the next generation but the king will not have it...

The Royal princess begged to leave her baby alone. 

Not a single person listened.

The father, the wolf was sentenced to death the royal king stated that he had touched his daughter and forced her to conceive this abomination and the wolf will be soon be hung.

The princess was forced to stay locked up in her room to be married off and create a new offspring. 

The Royal king held this abomination by the feet while the father was being hung. The father begged as well to let his baby live but the king dropped the baby in wolfsbane and boiling hot water.

The father watched as his baby boiled to death and then he was hung putting himself out of his misery.

That was the day everything changed for the wolves.

This was over 100 years ago but 100 years isn't the same as human years. It's much longer.

Tiny Sea Creatures with ears like fins and big eyes with no pupils and stained colored lips. They speak a different language. They really have no power but their eyes show the future and the past. 

Hawk people, their wings bigger than their bodies. People say they can kiss the stars that's how high they can fly. If the hawk people wish to live in the walls they must wear metal boots limited to fly up high in the sky. 

Eels that are blue lights that swarm that turn into electric people. 

Ogres are like dwarves harmless but they like to take shiny things. 

Forest people love to dance but if they want to live in the walls they must wear clothes. 

Mermaids are forced to become human never to touch water again only if they want to live in the walls. 

Star people play the flute and make the stars dance. Then they steal stuff if they wanted too. If they want to live in the walls they aren't allowed to have their magical flute. They are given a bamboo flute must be metal to let the stars hear it. 

....And much more exquisite creatures that were never tamed. 

Wolves {Slaves} 

The wolves are nothing. 

The wolves are nothing. 

The wolves heard this a thousand times and it stung into their flesh and bones. 

Engraved in their minds. The wolves believe they are nothing. 

But a long time ago wolves were magnificent creatures. They could change to man than to a great noble beast. 

The wolves used to protect the Royals and actually befriend them but something happened that changed that forever.

One day a wolf fell in love with the royal princess but hid it from the world. The princess was forbidden to leave her walls but that didn't mean the lovers couldn't sneak around within the walls. They snuck around like human teenagers lurking in the dark shadows to sneak a kiss but soon this kiss led to more than just an innocent peck on the lips. 

Soon the lovely princess grew a bump on her stomach and days turned to weeks and weeks turned to months. That fateful day when the baby arrived everyone was disgusted at this creature. 

 This abomination of a royal baby. 

The baby had sharp canine teeth and a tail with no fur, so many imperfections. The baby that was going to be the next generation but the king will not have it... 

The Royal princess begged to leave her baby alone. 

Not a single person listened. 

The father, the wolf was sentenced to death the royal king stated that he had touched his daughter and forced her to conceive this abomination and the wolf will be soon be hung. 

The princess was forced to stay locked up in her room to be married off and create a new offspring. 

The Royal king held this abomination by the feet while the father was being hung. The father begged as well to let his baby live but the king dropped the baby in wolfsbane and boiling hot water. 

The father watched as his baby boiled to death and then he was hung putting himself out of his misery. 

That was the day everything changed for the wolves. 

This was over 100 years ago but 100 years isn't the same as human years. It's much longer.

Our world was never supposed to collide with one another but fate had other ideas. She was the rare jewel of her kingdom a princess next in line for the throne and I, a black sheep that had tainted blood.  That never amounted to anything because of my reflection, someone who didn't belong but she made me feel that no matter where I came from that to her I was someone. I fell in love with a royal who loved me back until the day she didn't. Exposing my true self and all my secrets fueling my heart with rage as she ran away taking my heart with her.

"I am Erail Tozen from Nasereth. I have come to serve Lord Joonbum."
"I am Hott Besek from Bitra. I am here to serve Lord Joonbum."
"I am Adra from Ardo. I came to help with city management."
"I am Zoltra from the Beniel Family of Hoast. I'm here to work for city management."
"I am Eric from Bigshorn. I am a carpenter looking for work."
"I am Edgar the Blacksmith from the Neils. I make weapons, but my specialty lies in jewelry. I heard you value jewelry makers here."
"I know how to work with Durans and horses. This here is my son, and he knows his way around the monsters."

More people came to the city to apply for jobs. A lot of professionals from different professions were also recruited as they were treated with more value. These people were highly sought after before the war and the crisis, but as the food became scarce and it was hard for the people to survive, their support was cut off and they were left to survive on their own. This forced skilled craftsmen to leave their hometowns to more safer, stable places to live.
'It's only the beginning.'
Jackson smiled.
"Why do you look so happy?"
"Huh? No-no. I'm just…"
Jackson was startled by Jinpok's sudden question. Jinpok nodded.
"It's okay. Do you have more of these?"
Jinpok pointed to the cigarettes and beer.
"Yes, we have a lot. But Ainos beer tastes better so…"
"No." Joonbum answered instead, but Jinpok shook his head firmly.
"No, I like the canned beer better. Ainos beer is good, but it doesn't have that taste. Not like that one. It's all good, but… It's not like that."
Joonbum realized what Jinpok was implying. It was only a few years ago for Joonbum, but it was a very long time ago for Jinpok.
'He cried so loudly at mom's kimchi.'
He remembered Jinpok's eyes filling up with tears as Joonbum's mother prepared traditional Korean food in front of him.
'It was a long time.'
It was hard to imagine living here without all the goods that Joonbum brought for such a long time.
'But this is too fast. Is Jackson trying to start a kingdom?"
Unlike Jinpok who gave up hope on going back, Joonbum always had in mind that he was going to only live here for ten years. He always thought about going back to Earth if things didn't turn out right.
'Maybe I should give up on that option.'
Joonbum shook his thoughts away as he thought of his mother.
'I have twin brothers now…'
It was then that Jinpok stood up from his seat with a cigarette and canned beer in his hands.
"I'll go. Don't call me up for a while, okay?"
Jackson frowned. Jinpok was valuable personnel. It didn't bode well for Jackson to let him just live his life without doing any work.
"You can't…"
"Sure. You should take care of your problems first. That old man was a pain in the ass."
"Yeah, I know. I shouldn't hit him on the head, right?"
"If you're not going to have a funeral, no."
"Dammit."
Jinpok shrugged.
"But he couldn't say anything to my wife. Including those damn brothers! Haha. But it doesn't feel good to see them like that, you know. Anyways, I'll see you later."
Jinpok left the room. Jackson turned to Joonbum.
"It was quite a powerful family back in the day. I think there was some kind of foul play that caused their downfall."
"Really?"
Joonbum turned to Jackson. Jackson shook his head.
"The investment wasn't that big and other families that had the same investment did not fall like them. It's also weird that the merchant was attacked quickly got back on their feet by receiving help from a lot of families. Isn't that weird?"
"Hence, the foul play?"
"Yes, sir. Someone wanted their downfall."
"Then that someone is probably…"
"It probably has to do with his wife."
"Does the old man know of this?"
Jackson narrowed his eyes suspiciously.
"I think he knows."
"You think so?"
"He's lived long enough to know, I believe."
"Hmm."
"I don't think he's as cold as Jinpok thinks. He probably loved his daughter a lot."
Joonbum nodded. He then turned to the windows. It was already nighttime.

"Joonbum!"
"Give us a chance!"
"How can you meet with just one person! You should give us a chance!"
"Huh? What, no…"
"We have been waiting for you for so long! It's not fair!"
"I know you like her that much, but you should give us a chance!"
"I don't need to be a first wife! I will accept being second… or third…"
"Please!'
Several women gathered around Joonbum when he and Jackson came out of the building. Joonbum quickly reached out for help, but Jackson was already walking away in distance.
'Dammit! He did this on purpose!'
"Joonbum! Am I that ugly? Do you hate me that much?"
"I missed you so much! Please! Visit me tonight!"
Joonbum blushed as women closed in on him from all sides. Then a sudden sound scared all of them.
"GUARDIANS!"
"AHH!"
Women began backing away in fear as huge wolves began appearing. About twenty-eight wolves appeared. The women quickly ran away in fear. The people of the city knew that the wolves did not attack humans, but it was still scary and no one dared to go close to them.
'Whew, they saved me.'
"Galfus! You are like a pack leader now."
Jackson gasped at the sight of Galfus, leading her pack of Guardians. 
-They eat too well.-
-Huh?-
-The Guardians have grown really big. They would've been smaller and skinnier in the mountains, but life here made them grow big. They might have a hard time adjusting to the forest later.-
Doral seemed to be concerned about the cubs.
"Galfus, aren't they eating too much? They will become slow!"
Galfus poked her head at Joonbum and let out a small growl. Joonbum felt the sudden urge to fall asleep as he leaned toward Galfus and sat down. Pretty soon, Joonbum fell asleep next to Galfus and all the wolves moved out to block the entryways to the garden.

Jang Joonbum started stream to enjoy an easy life.
That is what he believed it would be like at least.
He fell asleep in the outback woods after eating like a wild man as a new form of content but wakes up in a completely new world.
A world that was the embodiment of the wilderness itself.

"Now care to tell me why you decided to break your word?" Jesse asked before he looked down and to the side where all the puppies were rolling around on the ground and mewling. "Right, never mind I know why. So, care to tell me everything that happened?" Jesse asked with an overcast expression.
Jaune knowing he was in hot water decided to go step by step of the events that led him to defeat the boartusk and save the dire wolves and their pups. Jesse gave some remarks but mostly stayed silent. Reaching the end of his explanation Jaune came up with a question that had been percolating in his mind. "Uncle Jesse?"
"Hmmm." Jesse responded.
"Why did the grim attack the dire wolves? I thought grim didn't attack animals only humans." Jaune asked.
"Hearing this question Jesse opened one of his closed eyes and looked at Jaune before he began to explain. "The thing is that the grim are a part of this world so they are present all over. The same can be said for the animals. The two groups normally keep out of each other's way but just like in nature there are fights for territory between different predators. The grim like to take territories where old human civilization is located because of the residual negative emotions connected to those places. This is a hypothesis not a fact but it is believed that the grim have to move from location to location to keep themselves from devolving back down into the particles that make them up. It is believed that they can only keep themselves corporeal if they keep absorbing the negative emotions that humans give off. It has been theorized that negative emotions leave behind aura that the grim devour. It is also believed that the reason the grim take on certain animal shapes is due to an animal at some point being hunted or tortured by humans in the past and they become a manifestation of the negative emotions they experienced before they died.
"But returning to your question. There was a herd of boartusks that came through the area. It seems the dire wolves were in the path of the herd. It is my guess that the dire wolves tried to defend their territory only to be beaten down by the alpha boartusk that you defeated. The only reason these ones are left is due to them being the strongest, fastest and most intelligent of their pack. They are really lucky otherwise they could have just been wiped out by the whole boartusk herd." Jesse said as he looked upon the dire wolves with a conflicted gaze.
Jaune was lost in his thoughts. He came up with another question, "So why don't all huntsman and huntresses find a aura bonded animal?"
"The chances of one finding their aura bonded animal is close to nil due to many factors. Suffice it to say that one would have to try interacting with every single animal you came across to really have chance. Even then it is unlikely to find the prefect animal who has an aura resonance that is the same as the huntsman or huntress in question. But that does not stop some from trying. In Vacuo they have animals which are held for all the huntsman and huntresses in training to try and connect with. Even with this only one out of thousands is able to form a aura contract."
Jaune kept petting the dire wolf pup in his hands. The puppy was now napping on Jaune's lap. Jaune started to make some connections and implications with everything he had learned so far. It definitely gave the world a different look. But it didn't affect Jaune's dreams and plans for the future. He would just see if there was a way to change how things are done.
"Alright. Let's get ready to go. There is likely a second group of grim following the boartusk herd. I want to be out of here before they show up." Jesse said as he stood up.
Nodding his head Jaune stood up with the pup in his hands and grabbed his pack which he had put back together after bandaging up the dire wolves. Standing he looked toward the wolves and bowed his head before he started following his uncle.
After a few steps Jaune heard a yip and groan from behind him. Jaune turned to look and saw the two wolves shakily got to their feet. Both grabbed a pup in their jaws and walked up to Jaune. The she-wolf nuzzled his backpack with her nose. Behind him Jaune heard his uncle sigh before he started talking.
"Darn, I was hoping that wasn't the case." Jesse said under his breath before he came up with an answer for the questions likely going through Jaune's mind while bending the factors a little, "You made an impression. They made you an honorary part of their pack. They want you to carry the pups. Hurry up and do so. We have a long way to travel. Take this as well." Jesse said as he threw his now empty pack to Jaune.
Jaune looking at the dire wolves and saw trust. Nodding his head Jaune tied two straps of the two backpacks together before he started to put the 10 pups in his backpack. Jaune was surprised at the number of pups as he had not had the time to count them out when he was trying to take them away from the boartusk.  It seemed a few were of a different coloration than the two wolves before him so this must mean they were other members of the pack pups. Well, whatever the reason Jaune placed five in one and five in the other. Now the pack wasn't bulging like it was last time.
Putting the double backpack on and settling it on his shoulders to not to jiggle around too much. Jaune turned and nodded to his uncle. "I'm ready. Let's go."
"Alright. Keep close. I'm the only one with any ability to fight at this point. So, I will have to protect you three until we get home. We won't be stopping so keep up a constant pace. It will tire you out less that way. Once We make it to the trail you will follow it as I make circuits around the group as the guard. Got it? Good let's head out."  Jesse said as he turned around and led the way back with a ground eating lope.
Jaune followed behind with a set of backpacks filled with puppies and a set of dire wolves that shakily followed behind.
 
Within the Reality Marble.
Tama was on her knees examining the glowing glyphs as the three other heroes looked on with bated breath. After a unknown amount of time Tama sighed and got to her feat walking away from the marble weapon stand and the circles of glyphs that surrounded it.
"So, what is the verdict?" Chiron asked.
Tama seemed to collect herself before she started explaining. "It is what we assumed it to be. It is a summoning circle made from this world's glyphs. It stipulates the summoning of one hero at a time. There does not seem to be a distance limit but that may just not be present. It seems the limit to the summoning is Jaune's aura compacity. So we would only have the same amount of aura as Jaune. Even with everything he has it will not be able to sustain us in a real battle if we used our skills but there is no limit to the length of the summon. So if we were careful we could sustain ourselves for a long period of time."
"Well isn't that a kick in the pants?" Shirou said with a conflicted look on his face. Even so he had a smile on his face. He could live with his brother once again. But how would he deal with the rest of the world? He didn't want to cause trouble for his brother so he was conflicted at this moment. He would have to think it over.
Saber also looked on with a wistful expression. She wondered if she could live the life she had never allowed herself in her past life. She was still conflicted as she still felt a duty to Jaune and this world she had come to love. She wondered if she could actually do both this time.
Chiron looked on with a similar expression as the others. He had lived his life as a teacher and trainer of heroes. When he had lost his life he thought he had failed and hated himself and the gods for their games. He wanted to change things and make them better. Now he had the opportunity to do so. To become a teacher once again. It was one of the happiest moments Chiron has had for centuries. He looked forward to the future.
Tama had a distant expression. She was reliving her last years. How she was hunted by the people she had come down to protect. How the words of a power-hungry human had turned the people she called her family to turn on her. Warmth seemed to radiate to her from the marble stand. The beating of the dragon core radiated out. The energy seemed to surround Tama as if hugging her.
With this warmth Tama remembered all the happy times she had with the people she had protected. How she watched them grow up and live their lives. How she gave them guidance to live a better life. She remembered the pranks she helped the children play on the adults who had done the same when they were young. She smiled as she realized she could do the same thing again in this new life. She was well and truly happy for the first time in a long time. She looked forward to the time she could relive her previous happiness in this new life with all new experiences.
The four heroes looked at one another and they all had smiles on their faces.
"Well now the three questions that need to be asked." Shirou said as he looked at the three other heroes.
"Who goes first?" Saber asked.
"When do we get Jaune to use the summoning glyphs?" Chiron asked.
"What do we do when we are out?" Tama finished.
They heroes were silent for a while before Shirou came up with an answer for the third question. "I think if one of us is summoned the most important thing we do for Jaune in this time is collect information. When I was the counter guardian under Alaya she gave me a whole host of information on my missions. I think we need to set up an information network for Jaune in the future. We don't have a god to hand us the information we need at this time. What do you all think?"
"I think it is the right decision. A hero can't act without information. Or they will be turned into a martyr. I for one am not good in the shadows. I am better with politics and economics. So, I would have to place myself in the politics of each region to give any aid. If you bring me information I can give my suggestions on politics and economics." Saber said with a deprecating expression as she knew how hard it would be to place herself in the political scene of this world without any background.
"That is understandable you are a king so you wouldn't have to deal with the minutia that most have to deal with. That being the case I think I have the most experience in shadows of our group due to my previous job." Shirou said with a hand on his chin. "Though I know it will take a long time to get this up and running I think I can do it. The only problem will be the limited aura I can use while outside."
"True having so little energy to work with will become a pain in the future. For now I think we should focus more on Jaune himself over everything else. If we do have him summon one of us it can also act as a form of training with his aura with one of us using his aura. Empty him out then let him refill his aura and repeat the process. I have noticed that when he empties out his aura and tries to refill it the aura refills a faction faster. Doing this enough will expand his aura reserves as well as his regeneration. But if you think you can make headway with a short amount of time then I want you to start. Just tell us when you want to do so that we can plan around it."
"Got it." Shirou said to Chiron.
"I need to go out and find the maidens. Once I do I can make it so that Jaune can learn magic without danger of conflict between the two systems of magic." Tama said.
"Understood. We will send you out when Jaune is training with Maria. He will be limited in his time and what he needs to focus on. You can use that time to find the magic users of this world." Chiron said. "I want Jaune to introduce me to his family and see if I can become a family friend as well as a huntsman. If I am able to do so I can start to help Jaune by working jobs and making a name for myself. While I am around I can train Jaune in the real world and the rest of his family as well. What do you all say?"
"I agree that is a good start. You can give me some locations and people to talk to when you start to gain some credit to your name." Shirou said with a smile.
"You can also find some information on the maidens while you are working." Tama said with the same smile as Shirou.
"I would like to switch off with you in the future to train Jaune in sword mastery, but beyond this I am ok with everything." Saber said with an inclined head.
"Good now that we have that figured out why don't we get ready for Jaune tonight. We will let Tama focus on his practice with the summoning glyphs. Once he is able to summon one of us, I will go out and pose as a self-trained huntsman who was injured by grim. Jaune found me and healed me."
"Good cover. Hard to pick apart and easy to believe. Plus if you lived in the mountains then that would also explain your healing and medical knowledge." Shirou said.
"Would also explain your instincts and abilities with the bow. Now the question is do we use our noble phantasms or the weapons of the real world?" Tama asked.
"Hmm. That is a good question. I am leaning toward use real world weapons so as to not drain Jaune too quickly. Once he is training his aura then I think we should use our noble phantasms." Chiron suggested. The rest nodded.
"Ok it is agreed. Jaune will summon us in the near future. These old bones are starting to regain their life once again." Chiron said with a wide smile.

Fate turns its eyes to worlds in darkness. Fate does odd things to the worlds it touches upon. It brings the smallest spark and forms it into a massive beacon for the oppressed and a wild fire for its enemies. What happens in the future is anyones guess with the whims of fate.

Once upon a time, there were humans and wolves cohabiting with each other. They lived and fought side by side for thousands of years. Most wolves hated working with humans but they swallowed their pride to live a happy life. But it did not last...

A wolf by the name of Zelista had killed a human. Zelista was charged with murder and was to be put to death. Most wolves hated her and did nothing to help her. After a few days of being locked in a cell, she was dragged and chained in the middle of a dense forest. Two wolves had brought her parents and her mate to her.

"Why did you kill this human?" The leader of the five growled.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you..." Zelista said in a low voice that could be mistaken as a whisper.
"How can you do this?" Hoku, Zelista's father, shouted.
"He may have been a human but he was our best wizard!" Silo, Zelista's mate, said.
"I beg you! Please tell us why you did it!" Kalee, Zelista's mother, pleads as she cries.
Zelista sighs. "I overheard him telling someone that he was going to kill our Pack King. He said that he was going to make it look like our second in command did it. Make it look like it was a rivalry within our pack."
Hoku growls. "How can we believe you! At this point, it just looks like you're making stuff up!"
Zelista starts crying. "Father..." She hesitates. " I...I'm...I...I...I'm sorry! I didn't know this would happen! I just wanted to do my part in the pack! I tried to confront him but he had a weapon out and...He was going to kill me!!"
"Inexcusable!" The leader of the five said indifferently. "You will be executed in five minutes. You better prepare for it!" He turned. "Everyone come! We have to leave before the executioner comes!"

The four who spoke, walked off. The wolf who stayed, walked to Zelista. Zelista looked at him, shock upon her muzzle. The wolf looked around before sitting in front of Zelista.

"It seems you are of need of help." The wolf said with a smirk.
Zelista quickly straightened and sat down. "I committed the worst crime anywolf could imagine." She said indifferently.
The wolf chuckled. "No...You did what was right...And that is why I'm here."
Zelista looked down in a sad manner. "I don't understand..."
The wolf laid his paw on top of her head. "I, Gofuko, is here to set you free."
"But why me!" Zelista yelped.
Gofuko smiled at her as he set his paw on the ground. "I have had many visions. I have kept many secret. This last vision...We need you." He exhaled. "My vision is of a world ruled by wolves. This vision of mine...I saw you in it. I will put a spell on you. You will live for a long time. Longer than a normal wolf. You will die here today. You will be in a deep sleep for a very long time. My vision is of you helping a male wolf by the name Darok. Are you willing to let me cast this spell on you?"
Zelista inhaled and sat up straight with confidence. "If you believe of your vision, I will fulfill what I need to do."

Gofuko started chanting. Zelista's body began to glow a blue light. Many rushed to find out what it was. Gofuko and Zelista was shot by arrows by the humans. The wolves turned on the humans. For many years, the wolves fought the humans until the last human was killed. The wolves split into four packs. Over the years they fought each other and believe one pack was more superior then the other.

The first pack was named Duskfall and lives in the underground caves of a desert. Over the years, the wolf pack has evolved. They have sandy brown to dark brown fur. The second pack was named Frostytail and lives high in the mountains. The wolf pack evolved and has gray to white or cream fur. The third pack was named Moonvalley and lives in a green meadow. The wolf pack  evolved and has orangey brown to 'red' fur. The fourth and last pack was named Evermane and lives in the forest. The wolf pack hasn't evolved and has mostly black fur.

This story is my first story I have ever wrote. This story is about four wolf packs named Duskfall, Frostytail, Moonvalley and Evermane. 

A legend has been going around the packs. They say a female wolf, by the name Zelista, has been sleeping for thousands of years. It is believed that she will awake and pick a strong and powerful wolf to bring the packs together as one. Is this legend true? Many wolves believe it's just an urban legend. Most, however, believe the legend is true. Mother wolves tell this story to their young but many think it's just a story. A male wolf, who's fur is black as night itself, was born. Is this wolf who Zelista will pick to bring the four packs into one? Find out by reading the story!


Current day...
"The pride's queen is Victoria?" Amy said sadly.
"Yes, it's Victoria, but not the woman I loved. I took that away from her; I took it away from both of us."
Amy hugged him. She wrapped him in her arms to soothe his pain. She felt no emotion in his body. He held himself stiff, not allowing her to give comfort. Her hands slowly started working their magic as they traveled over his body, her kisses over his face and chest. He finally held on tight and then carried her to the bed and made love to her.
Amy held him long into the night. The last words Victoria spoke that fateful night were haunting her. "I am now damned." That was why Victoria was afraid of being a vampire. She thought she would be damned. Amy realized the church played a vital role during that century, but how could Victoria think Marcus was damned? He was so good.
Amy hated her, hated Victoria with every fiber of her being. She began crying softly.
Marcus gathered her into his arms. "Shhhh, I wish you didn't need to know, but I'm afraid Victoria will hate you as much as she hates me and I must keep you safe."
"Do you still love her?"
"No, my love for her was severed when she had Ivan's sons killed. I hated her for a long time, but I got over that too, and now I just feel sadness for her, for what I did to her."
"I don't, she could have taken her own life if she felt that strongly about it. She continues to live out of hatred. It wasn't Ivan or Alba's fault. Why would she kill their children?"
"To get at me, her hatred eats at her. Her desire to see me dead is what keeps her alive."
"Can you kill her?"
"To protect you or my clan, yes, I can. I left England many years ago, so I would not need to make that decision, but she followed us here. She followed me here. She is very strong and the cats are loyal. They live to kill for her. I have tamed my wolves to a point, but the cats are pure animal. They are dangerous to humans as well as to us, and they've been causing problems for a long time. I've been passive for years, but now they've struck my family again. It's a situation I must handle. It will mean Victoria's death. I should never have broken my promise to begin with."
His arms held her and she finally drifted off to sleep. Marcus woke her at 3:00 am. He spoke softly as he told her they were burying Sinner in a short while, and he wanted her to attend.
Amy dressed in somber clothing. Marcus was in black pants and a black silk shirt. They walked downstairs and out to a waiting vehicle.
"Where are we going?" she asked.
"It isn't very far, but it is too cold for you to walk, so I'll drive." They traveled about two miles further into Marcus' property.
Over fifty wolves were present and all but Alba in human form. Marcus left a few wolves behind to watch the house, but everyone else was in attendance. Sinner's body was on a funeral pyre. One by one the wolves spoke and they painted a picture of Sinner's life. He was loved and his sense of humor came through in the stories told. Sinner's father spoke and held his tears back and finished by saying, "I will see you avenged."
Marcus spoke last. "The time for peace is gone, it was taken from us. Our brother died for his family. If we must die for him to avenge his death and bring peace once again to our home we will do so. This is my promise."
As soon as his words were spoken, all the wolves started shedding their clothing. They changed and one by one their voices joined until all of them were singing. It was the most somber and beautiful sound Amy had ever heard. It echoed through the trees. Marcus lit the pyre. The wolves cried their mournful song until nothing remained but ashes. The sunlight was beginning to come over the horizon. Marcus left, with instructions for Ivan to take Amy back to the house after he changed to his human form.
Amy was silent as she drove back with Ivan until she asked, "Can he kill her?"
Ivan was not surprised that Amy knew the truth of the pride's queen. "I'm sure he can, but until now he has not had a good enough reason. The death of my sons was hard on him, but even then, I didn't think he would do it, even if given the chance. I know Victoria will kill him if she can, and we need him to fight. You gave him that desire. He will kill her. It's what she's always wanted."
"She wants him to kill her?"
"Yes, I believe she does. Victoria was selfish and Marcus spoiled her. We all loved her, but we saw her shortcomings, though Marcus did not. She thought vampires and even beastkind were damned. She was good enough to have a vampire for a lover, but too good to become one. I believe she had Marcus drink from her at the end because she knew it would change her. She just didn't want it to be her decision. Her hatred is more for herself and her weakness, than it is for him."
"If he won't kill her, I will."
"Amy, she will snap you in half. You wouldn't survive in a fight against her; you would not have a chance."
"Not now, but I would if I were a vampire."
Ivan smiled. It was a smile of satisfaction and one of triumph.
Amy rested throughout the day. She felt very lazy but realized she did not want to miss a moment of Marcus' "awake" time. She thought long and hard about her decision. She wanted Marcus to ask her to change. She thought he would, but she didn't want to wait too long. She wanted to fight; she needed to help protect him and the pack.
That afternoon Amy called Brian. He was still pissed off. She told him she would see him in two days' time, before the charity event. She had cleared it with Marcus and he didn't seem to mind. Brian was somewhat appeased but was very suspicious.
After Marcus woke, they began preparing to leave. Amy didn't need to pack because they would pick up additional items from her apartment. They would leave the following afternoon in Marcus' private jet. He told her the jet carried the wolves, but he usually just went his own way.
"Explain it to me. I want to know how you do it."
"I just picture where I'm going and my body transports. Another vampire taught me because my father never would. I will travel by plane with you though, I wouldn't enjoy the time spent waiting for you to arrive. I will transport myself on board and it will be dark when we land so we can disembark together."
They spent the rest of the night talking and making love. Amy fell asleep in the early morning hours and got up at noon. They would take eight wolves with them to act as bodyguards. Marcus usually took only four but wanted Amy to have extra protection. Her four wolves were to keep her alive even at the cost of their king. Ivan was not in that group because Marcus did not trust him to see to Amy first. Ivan was not insulted; he knew that Marcus was correct.
Alba stayed behind. She told Amy she would wait until her return to have the pups. Amy wasn't sure if that was possible and knew she would be heartbroken if she missed their birth. It was a sad parting for both.
The next afternoon, Amy boarded the plane. One second the luxurious seat beside her was empty and the next it was filled with Marcus. He chuckled and said Alba was having Amy withdrawals, and if he hadn't seen it himself, he would not have believed it.
"I don't understand what hold you have on her but I know she would choose you over me. I wish I had her to fight. She is pure death during a battle and she is my oldest bodyguard. Back before Alba realized she had fallen in love with Ivan she was impossible to be around. She was sure she could beat him in a fight for Alpha and I knew she had a very good chance. The problem was that I had two wolves that loved one another but were too stubborn to acknowledge it. Their battle was horrifying. I was afraid of losing either or both of them. Alba was awesome to watch."
Ivan broke into Marcus' remembrance. "You would have killed me if I won. What choice did I have but to kiss her?"
"I thought she would kill you just for that. I've never seen her as angry as she was when she couldn't bring herself to kill you. She stormed around for more than a week waiting for you to come get her or to die."
"I convalesced longer than necessary while waiting for her to calm down. I didn't want to fight again. I knew I would lose."
Marcus laughed. They had a smooth flight and the airplane was luxurious and very comfortable. Amy drank wine and they talked and laughed while Marcus and Ivan told stories of one another, and their escapades through the centuries. Both Marcus and Amy napped for a short time before their arrival.
Marcus kissed her hair to wake her as they were touching down. When they stepped off the plane it was dark. A long limousine was waiting to pick them up. Amy asked to be taken to her apartment before going to Marcus' home.
Inside, Amy went about packing more of her things. Marcus walked directly to her underwear drawer and began taking out scraps of cloth.
"How did you know where they were," she asked with a smile.
"It's not my first time here. I went through your underwear before you knew me." The grin did not leave his face."
You are a very bad man and I'll need to think of some way to punish you."
"I can't wait until you do."
Amy was also grinning and after her things were packed, they proceeded downstairs followed by Amy's bodyguards.
They went to Marcus' city house. It was the mansion Amy had been in before. This time Marcus showed her to his suite. The ranch's master bedroom was rustic compared to this.
"I'm wealthy. My business associates expect me to live a wealthy lifestyle and I don't want to disappoint."
"I know you take over and reorganize large companies, but what else do you do?"
"My younger wolves are always itching to find trouble. I run a mercenary group that works for our government. It keeps us all happy. There's nothing worse than a young wolf that wants to fight anyone and everyone. It's how I've always tamed them. I give them things to kill until they get it out of their system. After they fight for thirty years, they're okay to have around civilized people. At least most of them are. Ivan and Alba keep a firm hand on the pack."
Amy yawned and Marcus tucked her into bed. He had paperwork to go through and Amy enjoyed some uninterrupted sleep.
