In this world everyone is an animal hybrid. Throughout the past, prey and predators got along just fine. However recently unidentified cases of savage predators attacking innocent prey as scaring the all the citizens leaving the prey terrified and the predators confused and scared they will be taken away from their homes. News reporters show the predators are naturally a threat due to their DNA. Jessica Rabbit doesn't believe for a second any of this is true especially with her three closest friends who are all predators. When police start to detain predators with shock collars, she goes out of her way to save the town and figure out the truth.

Dani cried from the very fear of being left alone. Logan was reminding Vanessa that not all enemies need to be defeated in the Isekai Game. In fact, many themes require little engagement. Ready to roll out, Vanessa sat firmly on a hamster. Her eyes were dedicated to the radar. Whereas her team was to keep an eyes out for airborne enemies again. 
 
They dead sprinted from bush to bush. No enemy spotted them as they made it to the cliffs. Not even the birds spotted them.

Once at the Cliffs, no tunnels were tracked. But a pack of foxes was smelled. Vanessa kept the hamster calm with the fact they couldn't detect them on the radar. Logan reminded her that hamsters have poor sight and rely on their sense of smell and feel. In response, she led her team up the cliff, keeping them near rocks to avoid most predators.
 
While running towards the top of a cliff, Vanessa detected trampling nearby. Obviously, it was foxes. They seemed to have caught an animal. In a small hole. It was possibly a rabbit or some other critter. But a hunch said otherwise.
 
They ran towards the tremors with what little life they had left. Everybody except the hamster wanted to puke what little air they had. That didn't stop them from getting near the action.
 
A fox threw a hamster in the air. Another fox dug it into the dirt. Its bloody cries meant nothing to the predators. Three others were digging out the tunnel for more. Mimi pointed out a boulder near the hole they could use to dig out the rest of the hamsters. In their weakened state, Vanessa's team did just that.
 
 
On the other side of the boulder, they dug out a tunnel to connect to reach underground. None of the foxes noticed them. Yet, another hamster was heard crunching within the jaws of a fox. Its voiceless cries hasted Vanessa to rush her tea. They could dig faster and their earth magic was practically useless in softening the dirt. On the radar, Vanessa saw another tunnel being dug out their way. The end of the tunnels fell forward onto two digging hamsters.
 
 
'Quick, we need to run away and join the rest of your hamster friends," said Vanessa.
 
 
Behind the digging hamsters was an elderly grey one that rejected, "We can't. There're too many foxes. We have to defeat them".
 
 
Mimi and Logan were quietly making fun of the hamsters for having no abilities to defeat the foxes. Their smiles for crunching hamsters contrasted the point of tears that was on Vanessa's face. She begged for guidance from the elderly hamster, but he had none.
 
 
"Nothing we can do," said Mimi.
 
Logan's fingers were crossed hoping Vanessa could figure out the two sensible things she could do. The first was to obviously shut the old rodent up and escape as soon as possible. Their time was dwindling away by the second. In her moment of desperation, a clarity struck Vanessa that forced her to grab the elder hamster's paw.

"This is cool, kinda," said Mimi ready for Vanessa's next move.
 
"It's laaaame!" yelled Logan in anger.
 
The foxes looked over towards Vanessa's team standing in a line. Her katana was held back. The smirk on her face taunted the foxes more than their hunger. Leaving the three half-chewn hamsters behind, the five foxes charged towards their new prey.
 
 
"Hamster magic!" yelled Vanessa causing her blade to light up, "Gooooo"!
 
She sliced her blade at Logan without hitting him. He sprinted towards the foxes like bait.
 
 
One fox dummied itself to snap at him. The moment its teeth gripped on him, Vanessa tilted her blade with a single hand on the elder hamster.
 
 
A magic shield surrounded Logan, in the form of a sphere, that smashed the fox's teeth. As the fox cried, he kept running into it until another smacked him away with its paw.
 
Logan's path was instructed by an arrow from the isekai system. The foxes evaded him as he was instructed to run off at a high speed.
 
The fox that smacked him was knocked down by a rolling Mimi that remained curving into it. Each hit was sliced a row of blades cutting into the fox. By the time it got away, a portion of its skin was torn off.
 
 
 
One fox sprinted towards Vanessa who was with two hamsters and an elder. The others remained in a pack trying to smack Mimi away.
 
 
 
Kiki was well-timed to run into to crowd of foxes. She smashed a few noses and tore a few paws. More importantly, she allowed Mimi to regain control of her path to steer back into the predators.
 
 
When the single fox got near the fox, Vanessa smacked her blade towards a hamster. A sphere appeared around it as it ran into the fox.
 
The fox easily dodged the hamster but was met with a direct hit from Logan in his little sphere bubble.
 
As Logan smashed into its side, Vanessa launched another hamster to hit the fox's face. The fox jumped and cried into the air. Blood splashed across the spheres.
 
 
The foxes ran away defeated. The one that got close to Vanessa was severely wounded but still managed to escape. Everybody regrouped next to Vanessa, leaning over their knees.
 
 
"Damn, Vanessa. How- you gonna- kill foxes with hamsters?" asked Mimi panting in her speech.
 
 
Vanessa briefly explained it was from using the elder hamster's magic with her young body. Sure it was limited and her magic power was low. However, with good planning, she could lead everybody to victory.
 
Despite their victory, they still needed to unite the hamsters. It was only then the elder hamster would be strong enough to bestow Vanessa the hamster power she came for. Simple enough, she guarded the hamsters to dig out a full tunnel while her team guards them. It was only afterward they would leave to link up with Dani.

Just a place where I can freely write and publish drafts for future events of my story.

The Isekai Game is a vigorous sport where players battle in a variety of themes each month. From magic, alchemy, melee combat, gun slinging, themes, players are forced to fight each other and monsters alike. 



Vanessa finally has her shot at playing and making it to the pro leagues to live a life of wealth, fame, and adventure. But when her small guild of misfits is threatened by an in-game assassin and her "ghost" warns her of a traitor, she feels at the end of her ropes. 



Will her new Isekai family stay together and make it to the pro leagues. Or will this traitor succeed at tearing them apart along with the harsh nature of the game?

I know my first 2 chapters are confusing. I literally give the first 65 chapters free. My story has a "Do now, explain later" rhythm to it. The characters you read on in the first two chapters get fleshed out in the next two chapters. 
So give it a chance. 


Also, this is not your typical trash Isekai. There is no boy getting hit by a truck. No heavy romance. No high dive online nonsense. No harem. No sex jokes thrown every chapter nor bouncing tits. No truck-kun. No getting trapped in the game. No matrix or any other corny stuff. My concept is not original. But I literally cannot think of 1 story out there that has it.

Wierd fact: hamsters only wink. The reason they only blink one eye at a time is to be able to stay aware of predators at all times. 
In the presence of humans, they oftentimes won't even blink at all.

In this world there was said to be "undeveloped areas". They were considered uncultivated due to various reasons such as there being no resources, dangerous weathers, and difficult terrain.  The Kaoshin mountains was one such 'forbidden zone' for humans.

This area was a mountainous region surrounded by mists and clouds all year round. Although it was a mountainous region, at the same time this was an understatement to its status. Mountains here were jagged, with huge slopes and cliffs. This area was so inaccessible that it was no wonder why it was a so called forbidden zone to humans.

This was not to mention that there were countless dangers surrounding inside these areas. Yearly there were many land slides in this region, even avalanches during the winter near the peaks. A nickname for this area region was "Unstable Peaks".

Counting the mists, clouds, unstable ground, and sheer cliff faces, and land filled with tight spaces, this was a place that no one wished to travel through. However this was not to mean that there was no life within this region. In fact, it was filled with life sources. 

Because of the uniqueness of this place many special herbs, plants, minerals, and species existed within. So even humans, periodically braved the dangers in order to seek this unique items that aren't seen in the outside world. Even with people going in though, every year countless people who went in never came back. These mountains were the essence of danger.

Currently winter had just ended, and spring sprung up.  Spring time was here in this environment, and the sleeping life springed out of sleep, making these seemingly empty zones filled with life once again.

Within all these animals coming out was a unique species of hamsters. Although its species was a hamster, people know that they are basically the cute and better versions of mice. In the wild mice and rats are the carriers of pesticides and diseases. This hamster was also a sickly one herself. None of the predators here dared to eat her, for they knew by instinct that they will most likely die too soon after.

Even though hamsters are a house pet, this one was after all a unique species so it was different from those common hamsters. Even if it was filled with diseases because it lived in the wild, it was not affected by them one bit. Although she sometimes felt sick or dizzy, it did not affect her enough to become a one way trip to death.

This species of hamsters were called Pathfinders. They had a strong survivability in the wild. They had a strong sense of instinctual direction, strong memory, amazing stamina, and powerful legs. They also gave off a pheromone that helped ward off people who wished to eat the cute her.

Most special of these species though were there strong instinctual danger warning and treasure detector. They can sense whether something was bad or good to eat. This helped them not eat poison out of all the special herbs on the mountains. They also had a strong danger sense like those of cats, and can leave before a disaster comes.

This made the species very popular with the adventurers and young noble ladies, but because of its unique skill it was very hard to acquire one of these as they can leave before the poachers even knew there was one in their area.

Pathfinders also were cute by nature and had lovable light yellow tint colored fluffy smooth fur. Because of its adorable nature they tended to be lazy, even if they had enough power to traverse the dangerous terrains here.

As the Pathfinder came out from its hole of where it slept, her eyes were droopy and her light pink nose  was twitching left and right. She was a proud hamster and was even more prideful these past couple weeks.

When she was being a leech to one of the powerful Kaoshin Mountain Wolves, to traverse the terrain safely and gain food her treasure sense detected something. It was the biggest sensation she had ever had when this skill of hers went off. It was the peak of everything combined, she knew there was something very special around so she soon left those wolves to traverse the terrain on her own in fear that they would steal it.

She knew it must be something very beneficial to her as it far past anything she had once experienced. If compared the past things were all toothpicks while today was the tooth pick being shredded to pieces in the biggest hurricane to have ever existed.

She rarely got excited, but she was that day. Quickly she found what was setting off her detector. What she had found was a small glowing orb of water. It was a marble that was changing from colors of white like lightning and the blue of water, then it periodically became clear in some parts like those of air or clouds.

She was confused, but she knew it must be very good to her. Blinking her eyes she soon ate the mysterious orb. Once she swallowed it she felt nothing had happened. There was no taste, in fact once she swallowed, there was nothing that was swallowed… Thinking it was very mysterious she was happy that she had found something so special.

Noticing nothing was happening after she had eaten this thing her instinct was telling her it'll probably be best if she waited here to see what its effects were or if there was something here, maybe she needed to wait here to activate its hidden effects. So she waited.

Luckily there was a small lake with some berries and herbs nearby so she did not need to adventure out and exhaust herself. She was very excited and impatiently waiting for the hidden perks to come out from that marble. This though… was a couple of weeks ago…

Weeks had now passed with nothing happening but her lazily sleeping and eating. Her instincts were never wrong and has never failed her, but for the first time this adorable small Pathfinder felt something was wrong… It was almost like… something was gnawing at her…

The mind was arisen from within him. His situation was off though, and soon  discovered he was no longer what he thought he once was... The lowest of all life. With the only belonging of his, he shall go on a journey to discover himself and get a new identity. A vow to top all Legends-

Don’t you know all the recent stories everyone are talking about originated from there! ‘Twisting Heaven and Earth’, ‘The Legendary Flyswatter’, ‘Demonic Scare of the Heavens’, ‘The Legendary Food Thief’, and so much more! Come on, we might be able to witness one with our own eyes!”

“What!? Those are from there!? Frick! Why did you keep quiet!??”

Author Notes- This novel was written for writing prompt #48 Evolution. This novel is basically about a character who starts off as the lowest of all life forms, he needs to hit certain requirements to evolve. The tasks wind up making him famous. Unlike my other novel, ‘Stage 2 Initializing : Welcome to Planet Iris’, this topic I will actually enjoy writing honestly, so I will also focus on this novel more. Schedule for now is a guaranteed 14 chapters weekly. I will try to hit at least 1 chapter a day. There may be extra chapters some days, depending on how much I write.
