After everything was ready, he finally collapsed into the reclining chair.

In the past, Zhang Zian always thought it was easy to run a pet shop. Now he finally realized that it was really difficult. However, this was his own choice, he had already sent a resignation letter to his company; it was too late to regret it.

But when he saw several energetic cubs full of beautiful fur innocently looking at him, asking for food, he felt that all of his pain had been rewarded.

"Galaxy, how about taking a bath?" he joked with his Lucky Cat, who had been observing for a long time.

The Lucky Cat shook its head desperately, indicating that this matter was not negotiable.

Zhang Zian also thought that the Lucky Cat didn’t need a bath at all, as his fur was even cleaner than those that had just received one. He really didn’t know how that could happen like this.

A little while later, the floral shop delivery man parked his electric tricycle in front of the shop and knocked on the glass door. He also tried to look inside through the glass holding the shed.

Galaxy had already carried its cotton pads and huddled into the corner. Zhang Zian bounced from the reclining chair at once and hurried to open the door. The cold morning air poured in with the opening of the door.

"Is this the flower basket your ordered?" the delivery man asked.

"Well, yes. Thanks a lot." Zhang Zian took out the money to pay him.

"Is this a pet shop?" the man asked while counting the money.

"Yes," Zhang Zian replied.

The man put the money in his pocket but didn’t leave. He looked inside and said, "How much is the puppy?"

"Is this the so-called business knocking on my door?" he thought.

Zhang Zian tried not to show his excitement and said, "My shop was just opened. There weren’t a lot of pets yet but we have a Samoyed, if you would like to take a look."

The man thought for a while and said, "Samoyed, I’ve heard of it before. How much is it?"

"Ah? So expensive? No! No! You are too deceptive! A puppy is much more expensive than a person!" The man hurried away with a brief wave.

Zhang Zian felt helpless and went back to the shop with a bitter smile. The price of ¥2500, which was almost the same as its cost, was not that expensive. He initially wanted to sell it for at least ¥3000. The pet had been immunized with six imported vaccines at Pet’s Home. Those imported vaccines were much more expensive than domestic ones. But he never had a chance to explain that, as the man had already escaped from him, as if he was running away from the Plague Gods. 

Pets were luxuries, not daily necessities. In other words, was it expensive to have a ¥2500 necklace? Was it expensive to have a ¥2500 diamond ring? Was it expensive to have a ¥2500 LV bag? 

"Not closing the deal today was okay, and it might have been a lucky thing for the Samoyed. If that man was barely willing to pay ¥2500 for it, once the Samoyed had a serious illness, the man would give it up, as the pet didn’t have medical insurance," Zhang Zian thought. 

When Zhang Zian thought of the word "lucky," he looked at the quiet and cute Lucky Cat with a smile.

When he had just laid down on the reclining chair, a girl with two braids peeked in. "Manager, are there any pets yet?" she said.

It was the little girl from the other day who had said her family couldn’t have a pet. She still had her schoolbag; it seemed that she had dropped by on her way to school.

"Yes, come in and take a look if you want," he said.

Zhang Zian was under great pressure, as he didn’t expect that the first customer would be a schoolgirl without any money. The girl gave a loud cheer and ran into the shop with her little schoolbag lightly trembling on her back.

"It’s okay to check the pets, but don’t be late for school, all right?" he reminded her.

"Yes!"

She stopped at the pet display area with her mouth half-open and full of excitement, looking at the Siamese cat, the British Shorthair, and the Samoyed. Then, her eyes finally fell on the little hamster.

Zhang Zian had just combed the hamster’s hair, which made it look very clean. Hamsters did not usually need to take baths, because they had very small figures. Bathing in the water could make them sick. If bathing was necessary, they had to be washed with special sand. As a matter of fact, the hamster’s activities area was limited to the cage, so keeping the cage clean would help keep the hamster clean, and no bath would be needed.

The hamster was a milky color, with chubby cheeks that were cute to poke at. It had three black lines on its head, going all the way down the back like the popular mohican hair style.

Half of the hamster’s body was buried in sawdust, and its two small round black eyes stared at the little girl.

"How small! How cute!" the little girl exclaimed and clapped her hands.

The lights in the Amazing Fate Pet Shop were regional. Zhang Zian dimmed the light in the middle area to fit to the little hamster’s vision, it being a nocturnal animal, so that it could see the little girl.

"Anyway, there are no other guests right now, so it’s better to save power," he thought.

"Manager, what does it eat?" she asked, turning her head toward Zhang Zian.

"Well… It has a mixed diet, such as common fruits and vegetables; in addition, peanuts, melon seeds, yellow beans, and black beans are also okay," he answered.

"Oh! Can I bring something tomorrow to feed it?" The girl bit her lips nervously, begging. She was concerned that Zhang Zian wouldn’t agree.

"Oh, istriku, harusnya Nyonya kecil baru saja melakukan proses membuang racun serangga beracun kemarin. Setiap kali selesai membuang racun serangga beracun, Nyonya kecil selalu akan tidur lebih lama dari biasanya." 
"Kamu juga kenapa buru-buru? Biarkan saja Nyonya kecil istirahat dan tidur lebih lama lagi," jawab suami chinchilla. Lalu, dia mengeluarkan sepotong kacang kenari dan langsung melemparkannya ke dalam mulut kecilnya. Setelah itu mengunyahnya sampai terdengar suara renyahnya.
"Astaga, Han Zi, kamu ini sudah makan terlalu banyak sekali! Coba kamu lihat dirimu sekarang, lemak ada di mana-mana? Lihat juga itu bayi-bayi kita, sama gemuk dan berlemaknya sepertimu. Mana boleh seperti ini?!" 
"Kamu harus belajar memberi semangat sepertiku kepada dirimu sendiri. Ayo ikuti aku, ayo olahraga tinju dan tendang lagi, ayo menari-nari lagi. Diet, diet. Pasti akan kurus!"
Istri Chinchilla terus mengomel dan mulai membicarakan lagi mengenai dietnya hingga bisa kurus seperti sekarang kepada suaminya yang gemuk ini. Namun, lagi-lagi dia diabaikan oleh suaminya, sehingga dia merasa sedikit kecewa.
Aduh, diet itu sulit sekali. Begitu banyak makanan lezat, tapi tidak bisa dimakan. Lalu, apa artinya hidup ini? Huh! batin suami chinchilla. 
Sejak istri chinchilla berhasil kurus dan menjadi chinchilla kecil yang ramping. Panggilan dari suami chinchilla untuknya yang awalnya adalah 'istri bodoh', sekarang berubah menjadi 'istri cantik'. Sedangkan panggilan istri chinchilla untuk suami chinchilla juga berubah, dari 'suami tampan' menjadi 'suami gemuk'.
Dua chinchilla kecil terus bicara, dan mereka tidak menyadarinya sama sekali kalau anak-anak mereka yang awalnya begitu patuh di belakang mereka. Kemudian hendak menyapa selamat pagi secara bersama-sama kepada Liuli Guoguo ketika Nyonya kecil mereka itu sudah bangun. 
Namun semuanya sekarang sudah berbaring dan tidur di selimut merah muda lembut Liuli Guoguo. Kecuali Dong Gua yang paling patuh ini. Bahkan, ada beberapa dari mereka yang masih meneteskan air liur di mulut mereka. 
Nan Gua yang begitu gesit menyelinap masuk ke dalam selimut, lalu berbaring santai di perut Liuli Guoguo. 
Xi Gua yang imut, konyol, dan yang paling kecil tidur sebentar, lalu tiba-tiba dia merasa sedikit lapar. Kemudian dia membuka mata kecilnya dengan sedikit linglung, setelah itu merangkak ke dalam dekapan ibunya untuk minta minum susu. 
"Ibu, aku ingin minum susu," pinta Xi Gua dengan manisnya sambil mengucek kedua matanya yang masih mengantuk.
Istri chinchilla memandangi putra termudanya yang paling tampan ini. Lalu dia melengkungkan bibir dan tersenyum hangat. Setelah itu menarik Xi Gua sampai ke bawah perutnya dengan cakarnya untuk membiarkannya meraih puting, kemudian menyusuinya.
Setelah melewati proses membuang racun dengan kompas kehidupan dan kematian kemarin. Liuli Guoguo benar-benar kelelahan dan langsung tidur hingga baru bangun siangnya. 
Dua chinchilla yang satu gendut dan yang satu kurus, serta sekumpulan anak-anak mereka yang tertidur terus menunggu Nyonya kecil mereka bangun.
Ketika Liuli Guoguo bangun, dia merasakan ada sesuatu yang berbaring di atas perutnya. Saat dia membuka matanya perlahan, dia melihat ada tujuh sampai delapan chinchilla kecil yang tengah tidur dan berbaring di atas selimut merah mudanya. Dia lalu melengkungkan bibirnya karena tidak bisa menahan tawanya lagi.
Liuli Guoguo lalu mengelus kepala Tuan Bao-nya yang imut dan cantik ini, setelah itu mengelus kepala Yuan Bao juga. Kemudian, dengan hati-hati dia memindahkan Nan Gua yang ada di atas perutnya itu ke bantal kelincinya. Dan dia pun perlahan turun dari ranjang.

Di bangunan Chiming,
Setelah Liuli Guoguo sudah mandi dan ganti baju, kemudian dia membawa alat musiknya yang bernama pipa Lingluo untuk pergi ke bangunan Chiming. 
Hanya saja, ketika baru berjalan sampai ke pintu dinding bulan, dia melihat seorang pelayan membawa sepiring bubur Baihuayu. Jadi, Liuli Guoguo pun langsung bertanya kepada pelayan itu, "Apakah ini untuk Raja Huayou?"
"Em, benar Nyonya kecil," jawab pelayan itu sambil membungkuk untuk memberi hormat pada Liuli Guoguo. 
Liuli Guoguo menyerahkan pipa Lingluo yang dipegangnya kepada pelayan pribadinya yang mengikuti di belakangnya. Lalu, dia segera berkata kepada pelayan yang membawa piring itu, "Berikan padaku saja."
"Laksanakan," jawab pelayan itu. Lalu, dengan patuh dia menyerahkan piring mahoni di tangannya kepada Nyonya kecil mereka.

Liuli Guoguo tahu kalau kakak Po pada jam segini akan lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu di ruang kerjanya untuk menangani semuanya. Jadi, dia pun langsung pergi ke arah ruang kerja. 
Setelah mengetuk pintu beberapa kali, Liuli Guoguo lalu langsung masuk ke dalam. Kemudian dia melihat ke sekeliling ruang kerja, namun masih saja tidak melihat kakak Po-nya. Hal tersebut membuatnya menjadi bingung.
Pada saat ini, pengawal kedua belas tiba-tiba berlari untuk menghampiri Liuli Guoguo. Lalu, dia berkata dengan terbata-bata, "Nyonya kecil, lebih baik… Hari ini… Nona kembali saja ke halaman Liuli Guoguo. Tuan, Tuan dia..."


Liu Li Guoguo seorang anak berumur lima tahun berlutut di depan halaman rumahnya sambil menjinjing ember berisi air panas. Dia melakukan itu untuk menyelamatkan ibunya yang ditangkap oleh pengambil jiwa, ayah Guoguo yaitu Liu Li Fu berjanji kalau Guoguo berhasil menjinjing ember berisi air panas selama habis terbakarnya tiga dupa maka ayahnya akan menyelamatkan ibunya dari pengambil jiwa. Sayangnya ucapan ayahnya itu hanyalah cara lain ayahnya untuk menghukum Liu Li Guoguo.
Kedua kakaknya Guoguo, Liu Li Fangfang dan Liu Li Pingping dan ayahnya Liu Li Fu selalu memperlakukan Guoguo dan ibunya dengan tidak baik. Di dalam keluarga itu hanya kakak keduanya saja yaitu Liu Li Tian yang selalu ada di samping Guoguo dan ibunya.
Ketika Guoguo berlutut di halaman, datanglah Kaisar timur Xuan Yuan Pofan yang terkenal dengan sebutan Raja Hua You dan adiknya pangeran kedelapan Xuan Yuan Poxi mengunjungi kediaman Cheng Zhu yaitu kediaman Tuan Liu Li Fu. Awalnya Xuan Yuan Pofan melihat Liu Li Guoguo yang dianiaya dia tidak merasakan apapun, sampai akhirnya Guoguo menabraknya dan memohon Xuan Yuan Pofan untuk menyelamatkan ibunya. Saat itulah Xuan Yuan Pofan melihat  mata dan wajah Guoguo dengan jelas, barulah dia sadar dia telah menemukan orang yang dicarinya selama 10 tahun ini.

Hari rolled his eyes and sighed in his mind.

'Ok now I'm officially dealing with a retarded psycho'

Seeing Hari's expression the self-proclaimed God didn't get offended, rather God just overlooked it  like a foolish act of an ignorant man.

"To know who I am you need to know more about yourself, in particular, your planet. *sigh* Earth's actually a lot similar to a hamster running a wheel."

"Earth is stuck in wheels of Mahayugas, endless cycle of creations and destruction. One Mahayuga is roughly 4.12 million years, and a Mahayuga is divided into 4 Yugas.

Satay Yuga – Virtue reigns supreme. Average human lifespan was 100,000 years.

Treta Yuga – There was 3 quarter virtue and 1 quarter sin. Average human lifespan was 10,000 years.

Dwapara Yuga – There was 1 half virtue & 1 half sin. Average human lifespan was 1,000 years.

Kali Yuga – There is 1 quarter virtue & 3 quarter sin. Average human lifespan will be 100 years.

Kali yuga is the final stage, a slow destruction.

I am the first life that Earth breeds, nothing but an amalgamation of all the souls. When a being is born the soul, a small portion separates from me and enters the baby. When a being dies their soul rejoins me.

I can't influence those souls in any form or else the earth will instantly burst to cause an apocalypse leading to total destruction. My life is tied to Earth,  I'll die when the earth dies, thus bringing an end to all of life."


Then God paused a bit allowing Hari digest everything, Hari couldn't discern any emotion from just those messages because they were just transmitted thoughts.


Though Hari has been to a series of bizarre events after his death, the earth being a hamster stuck in the wheels of Mahayugas topped it all.

'So the stuff about Kali Yuga is a real deal'

"If you can't influence humans then how did the secret about Yugas leak out."  

Hari couldn't wrap his head around the entire Mahayuga concept; so he just found hole in the story he heard to get better sense.

"Humanity's thirst for knowledge or truth can never be disregarded; in fact a lots of truth were discovered by humans. Unfortunately, most of these are either ignored, overlooked or distorted, destroyed."

"For instance, Indian civilizations has long discovered the ultimate truth; In one of Hindu philosophy 'Mukti' which means liberation or freedom is the apex goal. Which is nothing but breaking the fetters of destiny.

You'll find numerous such findings or theories so never underestimate your fellow human; they have inexhaustible potential."



Hari just nodded his head, he felt muddled; its just too much digest. The God was too immersed to notice Hari's absent-minded face.


"Every single organism is tied to their own destiny; even I'm no exception actually there was no exception till date. But you somehow achieved the impossible, the fetters of destiny somehow lost their grip over you."

"You're the chosen one, I'll stop here; Staying here too long might severe you ties to earth. I'll give you gifts to harness your power."

Hari let out a sign and loosened a bit, he knew he couldn't possibly escape from God. 

"So what's the catch?"

Of course, he isn't naive enough to think a god would appear out of nowhere and give him powers just because he died in a....lets say a special way.

"That's the point there are no fetters so the principal of 'Give and take' does not apply to you. 

Actually, even without my interference you will be reincarnated, the only difference is when it naturally takes place you will take over a new body.

Moreover, the power I grant you is just a way to harness your hidden strength you got by breaking the fetters of the destiny."

Hari was still suspicious and couldn't quite get the point but a beam of light shot at him; directly sending him back to earth.

Hari silently stood before the mirror in a daze, he didn't know if the good thing was just his mind playing tricks on him Or.

"No it's just hallucination ...I'm just  hallucinating"

'Right Time'

Hari jumped to his mobile and checked the time; but he didn't have the habit of using his mobile more frequent than his brain. So obviously he didn't know the exact time, but he had a rough idea.

*Sigh*

'Its still 8:30 am'

An encounter like that is scary even for an iron-hearted soldier like Hari. He just chalked down the whole god thing to bad sleep and quickly dressed up for his office.

When Hari reached the hall and mouth watering Idlis beautifully arranged on the dining table were waiting for him. 

Shreya's was actually a brilliant cook; though it was a fake marriage she never failed to cook. 

After seeing delicious idlis Hari's worry over his rather unusual dreams magically vanished. Hari took full 10 minutes to completely savour his tasty breakfast.

Though Hari was a great foodie he wasn't much of a cook so he would never fail to properly enjoy good food. 

Moreover being a soldier didn't give the luxury of delicious food, all his diet in army were too nutrition focused. So he developed the habit of cherishing tasty food.


Then Hari went to his motorbike, his old pal. This old Royal Enfield motorbike was gifted to his team for their fabulous performance in one of the missions. In fact this the only thing that remotely linking to his army life.

Hari gently caressed it's head light while reminiscing old days but suddenly a sound broke his line of thoughts.

*BANG*

A speeding car crashed into the walls. Hari quickly woke and rushed to the car. But he was a bit late, few people had already extended their helping hands.

"*tsk* another Drunkard bastard, luckily No one's injured."

"Does this M*****F****R start his day on alcohol."

"How could these guys be this irresponsible, these shitheads are utter disgrace; @$%%....."

Hari heard people cursing and swearing that idiotic driver. He just shook his head and turned around but a whimpering stray dog drew his attention.

That pitiful dog was just an innocent bystander suffering from humanity's carelessness. When the car crashed into the walls, the stone shards pierced the dog critically wounding it.


People didn't bother to check the dog; even if they accidentally found this poor creature, the most a dying animal could earn is their useless pity and few drops of tears. In 21st century everyone's busy, a wounded dog could never stop them and the dog being a homeless stray dog isn't helping the situation either.


Being a animal lover was one of his redeeming qualities also something Hari took pride for being one. So Hari sprung to the dog and gave a decent first aid, his first aid skills were on par with a experienced physician.

Hari would have saved few hundreds of not thousands of animals; not that he saves animals as atonement for his sins it just out of pure love.


Though he coined it as first aid, it was nothing short of a Minor operation. Then he carefully picked the dog and gently dropped it in a rather remote corner.

"Be careful fella it difficult to survive cruel world but you must hang in there to make it a liveable place."

Hari a retired soldier, not just any soldier he was the best of the best, trained with everything the country had to offer; a perfect human weapon and real soldier at heart.
The army lost their best soldier in a accident; a fatal accident pushing the man to the cliff of death.

Two years later, the crippled soldier is given a second chance......
