A story start that began with a dream. Simply wanting to see if it’s worth pursuing.

Raia felt a prickling sensation on her forehead as soon as she stepped inside the house. Others seemed to have experienced it too by the way the last two people who entered before her—Dean and Lester—were unconsciously touching the center of their brows. No one was speaking about it so she figured they'd already dismissed it as something unimportant. 
            She couldn't blame them. The welcoming ambiance of the interiors was distracting. It smelled of aged wood and floor wax. Everything was clean and impeccably arranged, the polished floors would've passed as mirrors themselves. 
            White curtains hung over the two huge jalousie windows in the living room, their fabric was thin enough to allow a good amount of sunlight to stream through. The set of furniture was pretty basic, but that only made the entire space seem completely breathable and relaxing.
            Her heart leaped as the door closed behind her like a thunderclap. For a moment, she felt as though she'd left a piece of her outside.
            "Mister Rudy's wife will be here in a few minutes to prepare our dinner," Sarah said, referring to the old man from earlier. "You guys want to go upstairs now? I'll show you the rooms." She motioned to the curved wooden staircase beside the hallway connected to the dining room.
            "You girls can leave your bags here. We'll take care of them," Dean offered, from which Michael had grumbled, "Wait dude, we will?" 
            They all shuffled their feet, dragging their travel bags and suitcases near the foot of the stairs, their wheels skidding across the wooden floor.
            A crease formed between Raia's eyebrows. Her shoulder bag was one thing since she'd been carrying it with her the whole time, but how come she couldn't remember bringing her suitcase in? Come to think of it, she couldn't recall the others walking through the door holding their bigger bags either.
            Only the ones already strapped around their bodies.
            Did the caretaker bring the rest of their luggage in all on his own? But Raia didn't see him so what the hell? Not to mention that these bags seemed to have magically appeared under their grasp. 
            "Oh thank you guys," Rachel and Trisha said at the same time and they both giggled.
            Raia ran a hand across the side of her neck, confused, but she still scooched her suitcase next to the others. How exhausted was she that her memory seemed to have turned into mush?
            "Rai, let's go upstairs. Let's leave the boys here." Trisha called out. The three girls were already halfway up the stairs. 
            "Since when did the girls lose their two hands?" Michael muttered in sarcasm as she walked past the boys. 
            "Try being a gentleman for once. It will be good for you," Dean retorted.
            "Dean, you already got Rachel. Why are you still trying to impress her?"
            Dean simply shook his head and didn't respond.
            "Stop whining like a babe, Micks." Lester slapped Michael's arm. He bent over to grasp the handle of the two biggest suitcases. Raia couldn't help but ogle at those rock-hard biceps. "Carrying bags won't fuckin' kill you."
            "Dude, my back will."
            "How old are you?" Lester looked up, scrunching his face. He caught her staring at him and her cheeks burned hot in an instant. She looked away and pretended to be hastening her steps to catch up with the girls.
            "You know, you can turn this into a transient lodging." Raia heard Trisha say. "It's a good source of income."
            "Ooh no. Grandma doesn't like strangers in her rest house. You guys are fine because you're with me," Sarah replied.
            "So who looks after the house? I mean now that your grandma's um… unavailable," Rachel sounded hesitant at the last word. 
            "Used to be me. But since I left the town, my cousin's the one managing it."
            "Are we going to meet your cousin?" Rachel asked.
            Sarah paused for a second. "I don't think so. He's kinda busy at the moment." 
            A long narrow hallway greeted them upstairs, floorboards squeaking underfoot. Raia's eyes widened in astonishment. Sarah's grandmother surely had some sick fetish here. Rows of mirrors hung on either wall, all in various shapes and frame designs. There were flat and concave ones, and most of them were the retro style. 
            "Is your grandmother a collector? I feel like I'm in an art gallery or something." Her sister said, amused.
            "No offense, Sarah, but this kinda creeps me out." Trisha wasn't wrong about that though, considering the goosebumps racing up Raia's arms. Passing through this hallway made her feel as if these freakin' mirrors were stealing a chunk of her soul. Not to mention how unsettling it was seeing her own reflection in all of them.
            "Oh, it's fine." Sarah waved her hand dismissively, stopping in the middle of the hallway. Rachel and Trisha went ahead and examined the mirrors closely as if they were precious artifacts.
            Raia wouldn't touch any of them.
            "Grandma's obsessed with these. Back when she was still normal, she'd always visit antique shops just to buy a mirror," Sarah added.
            Normal, huh? Raia winced as her gaze swept around the hallway. If this was normal, then she wouldn't want to meet the other version.
            Sarah's sudden movement toward her startled the heck out of her. She patted her on her shoulder and her lips quirked in a teasing smile. "Raia dear, you actually remind me of her sometimes," she said in a low voice.
            "Excuse me?" Raia scowled, but Sarah made fun of her reaction again, chuckling as she turned her back. 
            In her mind, she was giving her the finger.
            The boys appeared with their luggage shortly and Sarah started ushering everyone into their rooms. Obviously, every couple would share a single room, and Raia would be solitary in hers. Not that she minded it. She loved her privacy so much.
            Relief washed over her as the room assigned to her didn't look like an extension of a mirror museum. She expected she'd be getting a smaller one, but this was surprisingly spacious. The cream-colored canopy bed situated in the middle could fit two people. Thank God there were three pillows on it. Anything less and she wouldn't be able to sleep. 
            A tall hardwood cabinet stood next to the doorway, and close to the window was a round table with two wooden chairs. Under the wall-mounted fan opposite the bed was a vintage-looking dresser with an adorable stool shaped like a marshmallow. A white cloth shrouded the dresser's mirror which she would've yanked off if she wasn't already sick of seeing mirrors. 
            She walked over to the open window, warm and fresh afternoon wind pouring through the gaps of the black curved grill. Her fingers ran along the edge of the windowsill, its wooden surface wide enough to be sat on. 
            A partial view of the backyard was visible from up here, and she immediately spotted a fishnet hammock hanging under a massive tree. She made a mental note to read a book there some time.
            "Are we really gonna do this now, Babe? We might miss dinner." 
            Raia froze at the clear sound of Trisha's voice as if she was just standing behind her. 
            "A quickie, then?" That was Lester. What the heck? Smooches and giggles filled her ears and she turned, grimacing at the wall separating her room from Lester and Trisha's. 
            <Dammit, how thin is this wall?>
            She strode toward the dresser and tiptoed in front of it. She reached for the pull chain under the wall-mounted fan and turned it on, her hair blowing in the air's direction. The fan blades gave a smooth spin, but the faint noise was enough to deaden whatever nasty noises Lester and Trisha were making in their room. 
            A flurry of wind purred through the window. The side of the white cloth flapped, allowing her to glimpse a small portion of the mirror. For a moment, she thought she saw a black figure in the reflection. 
            She looked over her shoulder, but no one was there.

In the late 1990s, a group of spiritual dimension explorers attempted to access the Akashic Plane, the place where all thoughts and events of reality are recorded: past, present, and future. Something went terribly wrong with their quest and they were pulled deeper into the Dark Plane. They had been trapped, bound to the worst demon of all. FOR OLD READERS: I decided to broaden the scope of the narrative and move the timeline since the story I want to write is more complex than I realized. The arc you've already read and some characters will be edited to better fit the plot. The Blackout premise will be covered within a different timeline.

In the midst of the entire situation, Julianna had been laying around under the pile of junk that toppled over her earlier, and she had just began to shuffle her way out. Julianna grumbled as she shuffled herself out of the junk pile and began to mutter her annoyance of having to go on a mystery-solving spree and that she'd rather be home watching a horror movie. Julianna stood up and brushed herself off, but began to notice that everything was quiet… too quiet… Julianna look at the ends of the upstairs hallway, but things were dead silent here and there as well. A door suddenly pops up across the railing and a pathway to the door, made entirely of the floorboards, stands in front of Julianna. Julianna backs away, but the pathway pulls her in like an escalator all as the door opens. Julianna jumps up and attempts to run away, but the pathway sped up faster and faster until Julianna was suddenly flown through the door.

Julianna lands onto a black ground and groans. She gets back up and sees that she's in a pitch black room. The room the illuminates a blue light. The light begins to giggle in a familiar voice.

"Mellisa?" Julianna asks in slight shock. The blue light then forms into Mellisa then began to float around her. Julianna tries to grab the floating Mellisa, but her the entity just phased through her hands. Julianna's armed shivered in disbelief as she quietly uttered, "What… the… hell…?" The entity giggled in Mellisa's familiar laughter, but then another laugh is heard from afar, and the blue entity flew away to the sound. Julianna cried, "Wait!" and began to follow the entity. However, Julianna was running through a black abyss and could honestly be going anywhere. Julianna began to slow down and was getting tired. She kneeled over to catch her breath, and just then, a light began to shine behind her. The shining light was revealed to be a hallway with a set of doors. Julianna examined the hallway but then spotted the blue entity, and a red entity sporting a form similar to that of Sonia's, as they headed straight through one door and out of the other. Julianna immediately gave chase and ran through the door, however, she ends up coming out of the door next to the door she entered.

"What the-…" Julianna spoke out. The big gloomy girl scratched her head and then decided to go through the same door, only to end up exiting through the door that was far away from the door she entered. Julianna was getting confused and angry, but she then hears Mellisa and Sonia's laughter again but through the door next to her and begins to run straight inside. But as she opens the door, the blue and red entity exit the door and go into a further door, which then causes Julianna to not to through that door and just chase the entities. Julianna chases the entities door after door, coming out of different exits, all while the entities go through various doors themselves, seemingly making Julianna lose her mind as she runs through all of these doors. Doors were opening from left to right to sideways to in the corners to atop the ceilings to under the floors to on the rugs, and all three of them were suddenly going through the same doors, not knowing that they were following each other. It got so crazy that all of the doors suddenly came to a shut, and just then, a walking, talking fox and rabbit come out of one of the doors themselves to greet us!

"Hey there! I'm Jean-Luc, and this is Joey. We don't belong here, but heck, its Halloween," Jean-Luc greets casually.

"Even we love to have some spooky fun!" Joey says with his joyous tone.

"Alright, we'll let you guys get back to this story. See ya!" Jean-Luc finishes, then he and Joey head through the door across from them, allowing the story to properly continue. Just then Julianna comes out through a door on one side of the hallway, and the red and blue entities come out through the other side of the hallway.

"AHA!" Julianna exclaims and then she leaps in an attempt to tackle the entities, but instead they phase through Julianna once again, and proceed to laugh at her. They then float upward through the ceiling and out of Julianna's view. Julianna gets up and brushes herself off and then a door opens up with a swirling purple portal coming out of it. Julianna slowly walks to the portal and stands in front of it. However, the blue and red entities come back and mischievously snicker at each other. They then turn back into the forms of Mellisa and Sonia then sneak up behind her. "Sonia" shoves Julianna's cap down her head, blinding her, while "Mellisa" shoves her inside, slams the door hard, and then magically shifts the doorknob and keyhole so she can't come back. Julianna screams as she flies through the portal unknown where she'll end up next. Meanwhile, Mellisa had been stumbling down the stairs that she fell from when she encountered the ghost of an elderly man. Mellisa finally tumbles to the bottom and rubbed her head in a small wince of pain. Mellisa hopped back up and saw that there were mirrors lined along a straight path. Mellisa started at the mirrors and saw how goofy they made her face and body look. Mellisa giggled and continued to goof around with herself, but two of the mirrors behind her began to glow and emanate a green hue. Mellisa takes a notice at the hue and becomes mesmerized by it. The curious, cheery girl stares at the mirror with her big blue eyes, and then she touched it. The touch ZAPPED Mellisa! Mellisa shook up from being electrocuted and ended up creating a second Mellisa. Mellisa flew off and bumped into one of the mirrors while the clone stood up and began to talk to her.

"Say, are you ok?" the clone asked.

"Yeaahhh… just a little bump on the noggin and-" Mellisa stops when she notices the clone and then begins to spout, "Say! You're me!"

"Really? Cause I thought I was you!"

"If you're me, then am I you?"

"That depends. Do you like Scooby-Doo?"

"Why I sure do!"

"Me too!" Mellisa's clone answers back, and they both begin to giggle happily. Mellisa then tells her clone that she's on a mystery to find a shadowy beast that's been lurking the mansion, and Mellisa's clone immediately asks if she can join them. Mellisa cheerfully allowed her to join and they both hug each other very tightly.

"So what does this ghastly, ghostly, garnishing monster look like?" the clone asked.

"Well it's tall, and it's got a cloak on, it's dressed in rags, and it's got spooky red eyes," Mellisa explained, "Oh! And I found a clue which is this lump of cat and dog fur." Mellisa's clone examined the cat-and-dog fur, and proceeded to feel it. She agreed that the clue was indeed fur, but also began to question, "If this is fur from a cat and dog… and it smells like one of them bathed in a fancy-esque conditioner… why would a cat or dog be doing here? Then again… it could be a really tall guy with both blonde and brunette hair."

"Oh oh yeah. Yeah," Mellisa agreed, "But the question is… where could this beast be now?" Mellisa and Mellisa both pondered the situation not knowing that the shadow beast was standing behind them, lowly growling. Mellisa began to pat the shadow beast, thinking that it was her bestie and politely stated, "Not now bestie, I think I have a lead," then continued to ponder. The original Mellisa, however, looked up and saw that bestie… was not bestie…

"M-m-m-m-m-mellisa-a-a-a…?" Mellisa shivered to her clone. The clone politely answered but then the original pointed at the shadowy beast in a fright. The clone turns and sees the shadow monster and the monster growls at her, causing the clone Mellisa to exclaim, "ZOINKS!" and jump into the original Mellisa's arms. Both Mellisas shivered like goofballs as the monster intimidates them. The monster then pulls out an old cassette player and turns on some groovy '70s music that was perfect for comedic chase sequences and then attempted to grab the girls, but they had immediately zipped away before that could happen. Both Mellisa's ran straight into a dead end, but the clone opened up the mirror like a door and pulled herself and the original Mellisa inside then shut it fast. The monster however caught the door just in time and jumped inside itself.

When a ginger-haired teenage girl named Sonia is suddenly destined to fight demons led by a maniacal entity and save the universe from falling into Eternal Darkness, she must endure the challenges such as excessive homework, late night homework, drama queens, sleeping in class, battling giant monsters, overcoming her deepest fears, and the mania of living with a slapstick cat-and-dog duo. 

Man! This girl can't get a break, can she?

" Like .. really really real ! " I exclaimed . "Either that or we are stuck in the same fever dream. " I pass the large statue in the center of the campus , and it swivels it's head to look at me .
    "  Oh , that's just the security system , set to vaporize any Attuneless intruders . But there hasn't been one in... well , I don't even know " Griffin said .
 ( I would love not to be vaporized ) I  keep an eye on the statue , but soon as it looks away . I let out a relieved sigh . When I turn back , I've reached the massive double doors at the front of the school. " Welcome to Penterghast ! If you follow me this way , I'll show you to the ..... " Griffin starts towards the staircase but the loud chiming of the bell stops him . He looks at his watch with a start . 
" Oh crap ! . I totally forgot about the thief team meeting I'm supposed to go to ." . 
" Wait.. you can't leave me ..." I said.  " Of course not ! I'll drop you off to the dining hall . We're just gonna speed this tour up is all . "
 I follow him up the stairs , which leads to an adjoining hallway . 
" The dining hall is just at the end of this hallway and to the left . This is school's main building so there are a lot of offices and stuff here . Reception , the dean's office.. classrooms...some of the attunement placements exams are held here too ."                  " attunement placements ? " I asked.
  " I think it's kind of silly , too. I knew Earth was my thing when I caused a tiny earthquake throwing a tantrum over a desert when I was 5 " . " Right ,  Totally " As I pass one of the doors off the hall , I  hear a small commotion coming from inside.
 The voice says " Oh hell " . " Uh Griffin ? what's in this room ? " I asked.  " That's the hall of mirrors , where you were supposed to come through " .
 The first thing I see when you open the door is a beautiful girl with long , dark hair , trying desperately to pull her foot out of a floor length mirror .
 " Oh thank goodness,  some assistance  
please? "
              Me and Griffin rush over , each take one of her hands , and tug until she comes free . She stumbles right into your arms and blows her bangs out of her face with a smile. 
       " Opps , Shreya mistry , in your arms and at your service . Good catch , by the way " Shreya straightens up and smoothes out her hair. Shreya  said " I am always having trouble with these mirrors , to be honest,  I much prefer the air travel. But at least I made it . I was about five minutes away from  starting my freshmen year a month late." 
I asked  "Why a month? ". She answered " That's when the first visitors' day is , when the wards reopen, of course. Guess Penterghast is stuck with me now. " . 
       Griffin said " Well welcome , I am Griffin , this is Cristi . She is a freshmen too . I was just showing her to the dining hall if you want to come with. ". 
      " No need , I know just where it is , I'm a legacy student. " Shreya said .
        she struts out of the hall of mirrors. A short while later Griffin stops in front of a pair of ornate doors .
        " Well , that ends the Griffin tour ! Sorry it was kind of rushed , I've gotta go , good luck with the rest of orientation " Griffin said. 
       He's already bounding away down the hall . I turn toward the giant double doors and steel myself before I push them open .As I slip into the hall , I'm momentarily overwhelmed by the high ceilings , stained glass windows , and the countless dining tables . A handful of head  swivels in my direction , though the dean continues to drone on up front. 
       " Hey , over here ! " A guy with a megawatt smile waves me over to a nearby table , and you hurriedly slides into the seat next to him .
          " Hey , you're late . I'm Zephyr , you can call me Zeph if you want ." he said.  " I'm Cristina,  you can call me Cristi ." . " So , Cristina , what's your attunement? " he said . " I , uh , I'm waiting for tommorow to find out for sure. Don't want to jinx it ? " I said.
              He opens his mouth to respond , but is cut off by the dean loudly clearing her throat . Dean goeffe said " In conclusion,  I'd like to remind you all that this is an institution of higher learning , not a playground for children . Put in work or go home ." 
              Around me , the students starts to rise to their feet and shuffle towards the door . The dean walks briskly off - stage .



"I'm sorry..... My fault.... Thank you... Goodbye." 

"GET OUT!" 

"Hey! Don't you dare talk to my brother like that!" 

"Shut up!" 

"Don't..... Leaving now." 

"Is she going to be okay?" 

"I don't know."

My eyelids lazily peel apart as I'm met with a crusty old ceiling. Looking around cautiously, I'm able to recognize my surroundings as that of the motel's. 

When did I get here? 

I try to sit upright but an unimaginable amount pain erupts across my back causing an agonizing cry to leave my lips. Half a second later the door bursts open and my siblings are at my side. 

"Oh my gosh, Roxy you're awake!" 

"Are you okay?" 

"Are you hungry?" 

"Do you need water?" 

"Does it hurt?" 

Questions are shot at me from all directions, which makes me feel a bit dizzy. 

"Guys, guys. I'm okay, what happened?" They all look at each other before Rolland responds. 

"A girl came into the motel screaming for help, the waiter guy recognized her. I think he said she was his sister or something. Then we all realized you were nowhere to be found but then the girl mentioned your name and said you were injured. We found you unconscious in the car not to far from here, you were covered in so much blood. At first we wanted to take you to the hospital, but Ronan wouldn't let us. So we brought you back here, the old receptionist downstairs thankfully was able to get the bullets out and patch you up." 

I look around once more before asking: "And where's Louis and Kelly?" 

Everyone looks at Ronan, as if expecting him to respond but he doesn't. Which makes me even more confused. "Guys?" 

"Ronan kicked them out." Ruby responds. To say I'm surprised would be an understatement. I would have expected it to have been Rolland because he has a very short temper, but Ronan? 

"Why would you do that?" I ask him gently. 

He doesn't respond immediately but eventually says: "H-He's the reason I nearly lost you." The tiredness in his voice shatters my heart. Poor kid saw his parents corpse, he must've been scared, thinking I'd die. And he blamed it on Louis. 

"You'll never lose me. Never."

I was condemned to my bed for a whole week before I could truly move on my own two feet. 

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about Louis all this time. His goofy grin kept flashing before my eyes every time I close them. To say it annoys me would be an understatement. I wonder where they had gone. Could they still be at the store? 

But why do I care? For some reason, I know Louis is more than capable of taking care of himself and Kelly. 

After a few more days of bed rest, I can proudly say I have fully recovered. My back still hurt a lot, but its nothing I can't handle. The rest thought I needed more bed rest but I know they only said that because they didn't want to go to uncle John's. 

Honestly, I don't want to either but it's dangerous for us to be out here on our own. He's all we have left. 

So here we are, in my trusty old Jeep, on our way to uncle John's mansion with three sad kids sitting in the back, a baby and an emotionless teenage boy sitting right beside me. 

Uncle John lives in the outskirts of Town. He doesn't really like people. 

We reached the pathway leading up to uncle John's mansion. Dead trees stood on either side, they look like they'd collapse at the tiniest gust of wind. Dry leaves crunched beneath the tyres, other than that there's not a single sound. No signs of houses, offices or people. There are no woodland creatures for miles either. I pull up in front of the familiar, gigantic metal gate. A second later a man in a black suit and dark shades came up to us. I was just about to explain ourselves when he spun on heels and signalled for the gate to be opened. 

Well then. 

I drive in, waving at the man as he gave me a nod. I take in the sight before me, it's been a while since I last came here. There aren't any trees or flowers, only a huge collection of cars by the side wall. 

The only intriguing thing about this place is that it's a glass house, well a mirror house actually. Now that I remember, uncle John has always loved mirrors. I wonder why. 

Parking my Jeep near the rest of Uncle John's impressive collection of cars, I kill the engine and face the others. The look on their faces is not inviting, I guess they are still upset. 

"Hey guys, I know it's not going to be easy staying with uncle John but I promise we're not staying long." No one said a thing, not even a reaction. They just stare at me with blank expressions. "Guys?" 

Still, no one replied. 

I sigh loudly in defeat before We get out of the car. I can't help but notice the huge number of guards standing in every angle. They stood at attention with guns strapped across their chest, I can feel their eyes on me, all judging me. For a moment, I feel small beneath their gaze. We had guards back home, but not as much as this. Dad never wanted us to feel like we were in danger, even though we always are. He wanted us to live normally. 

Well, for my siblings to live normally. My life has never been normal, it never will be. Besides, I am the heir to this empire. These men technically work for me, they should be bowing before my feet. 

With my newly found confidence, I square my shoulders, kick my chin up and march up the stairs leading to the front door with my head held high. The rest followed quietly behind me. The guards nod at me in respect before opening the doors for us. 

As we stepped in, a woman who looked to be in her late forties approaches us. "Hello children, my name is Belinda." She introduces herself before facing me. "Roxanna, your uncle wishes to speak with you in his office. He said you know the way." 

I nod. "I do." 

Not really. 

I remember when I used to come here as a child, I'd usually run around and cause havoc while uncle John rained curses on me. Such as: "you are the spun of Satan." 

Ah, good times. 

"Wonderful, I will take the rest of you to your rooms." No one made an attempt to follow Belinda, instead they all look at me. 

"Go on guys, I'll be right back." I assure them and they all nod before following Belinda up the stairs. 

I pick a random hallway and start looking for where could possibly uncle John's office. Each hallway has mirrors hanging on the walls, not a single picture or painting. 

Just mirrors. 

Eventually, I stop in front of a huge Golden door at the end of the last hallway. Inhaling sharply, I turn the knob before walking in. 

Sure enough, it is his office. It is is unusually dark, I do not understand how that's possible. Considering the fact there are more of windows than walls here, and its pure daylight. My eyes fall on Uncle John who is sitting on a chair facing a balcony that has a magnificent view of the city in a distance. His figure was nothing but a silhouette from where I stand. 

A cigarette laid between his lips, the puff of smoke leaving his lips creates a beautiful swirl in the air around him. He didn't seem to acknowledge my presence but his next words leave me in a state of both ecstasy and shock. 

"I know who killed your parents."

"I'm so happy to be out of that floor it's the worse, leeches the size of a pea millions of them biting you I felt like I was an energy drink as they sucked in soo much of my bold don't you agree Shadow"
"I'm sure it was hard for you but now we're here so I think it would be best to focus on this floor"
"Yeah you would say that wouldn't you, with your smoking body"
Shadow makes a cringe face as he stares at Adam like a pervert
"Not like that!
I meant your body turns to smoke so the leeches couldn't bite you"
Shadow sighs hoping Adam would one day shut up
"That floor maaan it was crazy, can you believe that the wind was actually leeches being hurled about hahaha"
On and on Adam spoke as he continued walking through a clean and shiny marble floored with mirrored walls 
They were walking through what seems to be a hall way
Once he reached the end of the hallway he ended up reaching a automatic door
"Huh what's this, there's no handles how are we suppose to get in?" Says Adam curiously
"Hey Shadow teleport passed this door to see if there's a way to open in"
Shadow forms a black hole but it dispersed instantly
He looks confused as to why his black hole didn't work
Shadow stays silent examining the door and wondering how to open it
Adam tries to push the door but ended in failure
He tried to destroy it and failed
"Hmm let me see who the boss is...
I think that might help us figuring out how to open the door"
As he searches through his system he notices something
[.....You have 16 hours to escape before the Lightening God awakes]
"Hey Shadow look at this...
Oh sorry,
Only I can view this screen, it says we have 16 hours to escape before the Lightening God awakes, don't you find it weird"
"Find what weird?"
"Basically every floor we've been on, its defeat this monster or defeat that monster but now we have to escape before a self proclaimed Lightening God awakes now isn't that weird"
"Now that you mention it yes it does seem weird hmmm"
"Shadow go and explore the entire hallway to see if they've missed something I have a feeling that the entire floor is rigged with traps"
Shadow heads off to carry out an investigation meanwhile Adam just sat down next to the automated door waiting quietly
A few minutes goes by and Adam is feeling very agitated
He's biting his nails, tapping his his foot on the ground
"Aaarggh why is he taking so long I'm sure we only walked for like 30 minutes"
Adam gets up and starts to wonder around looking for Shadow
"Shaaadowww where are you..."
After making his way all the way back to the portal his body started to shiver ever so slightly
Adam feeling uneasy is confused as to where Shadow could have gone
He looks at his status window and notices his stamina and magic was decreasing every second
"Hmm that's weird, that's suspicious my magic and stamina is decreasing, so does that mean he's out of my shadow and is wondering around somewhere"
Adam scratching his head makes his way back to towards the automated door
As he walked he kept checking himself out posing and even winking at himself
"Dammm...
I am hot"
While checking himself out notices a black smudge on one of the mirrors
He walks up to the mirror and moves his face inches away
"Huh that's not dirt that's dark energy and I'm sure its the same stuff as Shadows black hole"
Adam touches the black smudge only for it to vanish
"What the heck is going on, why was their a spec of Shadows magic here maybe he's behind this mirror"
Adam clinches his fist and punches the mirror shattering it all over the floor
What was behind the mirror, it was just a rock wall
Adam looks down at his fist as he could feel it sting
"Huh I'm bleeding, all I did was punch a weak mirror how could it have cut me?"
Adam flustered decides to punch another mirror but just before punching it he begins to stare at himself again
"Damm I look so good it'l be a shame to smash it hehe"
After complimenting himself he shook his head confused as to why he's more concerned with his looks than finding Shadow let alone a way to pass through the door at the end of the hall
He shatters the mirror and walks up to the next mirror with his eyes closed
Punches right through it
One by one he shatters the mirror walls and each time he shatters a mirror he finds a wall behind made from rock as well
Both his hands are bloody with the skin being cut and looking as if its being peeled off but he kept going
Eventually after the 21st mirror he ended up discovering a blue glowing diamond
"What's this?"
Adam picks it up confused as to what it is feels an electric shock causing him to drop the diamond and falling unconscious
After an hour Adam opens his eyes feeling very dizzy and confused
"What on Earth is happening why am I on the floor and where the heck am I"
After shaking his head he realised what had happened and started to look for the diamond again
As he looked he realised it was on the floor right next to him
"This place is driving me crazy"
Adam literately jumped and landed on the diamond stomping it with all his might
As soon as the diamond shattered a wave of energy poured out and with that Shadow appears in front of Adam
"Are you for real Shadow, you come after I break the diamond where have you been"
"Sorry master I was trapped within the mirrors 
the diamond is not like other diamonds it absorbs magic and stops your skills and titles from being activated
The diamond absorbed my magic energy to form mental magic attacks through the mirrors to stop you from breaking them"
"No wonder my 'Six Sense' wasn't working and it also explains why my fists were easily cut from smashing these weak mirrors, lets leave this hallway before something else occurs"
They head to the end of the hall only to find the door is opened
They leave the hallway and enter a room
The room was the size of a buss in length with and height
All four walls plain white in colour while the roof and ceilings where glowing blue
The room was tiled from roof to the floor
There was 17 paintings in the room posted all over the walls
"Hey shadow do you have any idea what this place is"
"No Master it's a first for me"
"Hmmm there must be something with the pictures"
Adam pulls of one of the pictures
as soon as the picture leaves the wall Adam feels his body tingle
[Skill 'Magic Resistance' lvl Max activated

As soon as his skill deactivated the shock from holding the pain caused Adam to scream in pain
Adam grinds his teeth with a stiff body slowly loosens up his fingers one by one
As he's forcing himself to let go of the picture he starts to bleed out his mouth
The smell of burning flesh started to spread throughout this small room
eventually the picture is released
Adam breathing heavy  bent over holding onto his knees with spit and blood dribbling out his mouth
"Hey A**hole why didn't you help me"
"It seemed like you had everything under control" Says Shadow with a cheeky smile on his face
"Huh what part of me getting electricuted is me being in control"
Adam punches Shadow for annoying him
"Anyway lets get back to business,
Hey Shadow have you noticed the picture on the floor I think it's a symbol I think we need to put all the pictures together"
"We can try and place them together but how are we going to do that the shock you just felt was from holding one of them how are we going to place all the pictures on the floor and move them about to see what the symbol could be"
"Hehehe well you see I have a plan" says Adam with a cheeky grin
Adam made Shadow pull the pictures of the wall and as soon as he pulls them off he would karate chop the picture forcing it out of shadows hands
By the end of it all 17 pictures had been placed on the floor and Shadow looked like burnt toast oozing with a stench of burning flesh
"Well that wasn't bad hehe"
Shadow just stayed quiet giving Adam an evil stare
Adam starts to kick the images taking little electric shocks but it was something he could handle
After a few hours of moving the pieces they eventually placed all the pictures in their rightful place
"Hey Shadow I don't think it's a symbol, its a word , 'open sesame'"
As soon as the word was said the entire place started to shake and the walls started to collapse outwards
The ceiling came slamming down but Shadow was able to form a black hole and teleport both him and Adam away avoiding them being crushed
They only teleported a few meters away and what they noticed was that they were in a massive laboratory
"Huh were we in that small room that was in this big room, this place is hella weird"
They start to walk towards the centre were they find a massive glass tube filled with green liquid
There was computers and machines all over the room
Adam inspecting the computer screen notices a timer counting down with 4 hours left
"Master I have found the exit shall we get going"
"Whats the rush it says here we have 4 hours lets just heal up and relax bit we don't know what we will face once we leave this place"
"As you wish"
Adam meditates for 3 and a half hours completely restoring his health
"Master shall we get going it seems your all done with resting"
"Hmm I guess so but I have a suggestion and I would like you're opinion"
"What is it master"
"My Demon Slave skill has levelled up and your rank has moved up from Private to Sergeant, the update to my skill allows me to create two contracts, the first is you and I'm just thinking..."
"Stop I know what your thinking and I am totally against it"
"Huh why?

Adam starts to button bash all the machines and computers hoping for something to wake up the 'Lightening God' who's currently asleep.

A boy named Adam was on vacation with his parents in Korea was sucked into a the tutorial tower and was left there by his parent and the group he was teamed up with.

Rhoanne woke up and found herself suffering from a massive hangover. She found herself staring at a ceiling which she hasn't seen before. She was embraced with a warm and subtle yellow light that illuminated the room partially. Unfortunately for her, she couldn't remember what happened last night. The last thing she remembered before she passed out, was giving a toast to everybody before they leave for Tenrocks city. 

"Boss!... Urgh..."

As she looked around for the whereabouts of her employer, she heaved a sigh of relief as she saw him sleeping soundly on a bed next to her. Not a moment sooner, hunger and thirst crawled up her neck.

"Ahaha... Ouch... I guess I was wrong,"

A memory of her bragging to Nico and Gus has immediately entered her mind. She laughed and came to admire the green-fairy drink that was on the bedside table. No alcoholic bottle has ever conquered Rhoanne the Adventurer. Back in Tenrocks City's Adventurer's Guild, she is known for drinking every single alcoholic bottle known to the land of Circa with ease. Her empty bottles were beautifully displayed inside the Guild, where it became a popular conversation piece for the adventurers to talk about.

"Boss! Wake up!"

"Urghh... My head... Rhoanne?"

Nico slowly opened his eyes, pain and discomfort have made its way to his head. Simply put, he woke up with a massive hangover.

"Yes, It's me."

"Where are we? Is it Morning already?"
Nico also wondered where he was since this is the first time he has ever laid eyes on this room.
He doesn't even remember how he got here in the first place.

"I'm not sure Boss, I woke up in this same room with you."

"I need water and food,"

"You and me both Boss, let's get out of here."

Not a moment sooner, their stomachs started rumbling and their bodies demanded water.
Alcohol is a diuretic. It causes your body to remove fluids from your blood through your renal system, at a much faster rate than any other liquids. Combined with sweating and vomiting, which also contributes to loss of body fluids, It is no mystery for a person to develop a mild case of dehydration after a night of hard-drinking. Simply put, they didn't drink enough water with alcohol.

As they got out of bed, they noticed that the room was unlike any other room they stayed at. 
there were round glass-like things that emitted a brighter light than candles or lanterns.
Rhoanne and Nico admired the beauty of a rustic-modern earth lampshade. Mirrored Sliding doors replaced the conventional cabinets. The mirrors in Circa were only hand mirrors which symbolizes the owner's wealth and status. Mirrors large enough to reflect the whole body were totally unheard of, yet here it is installed on a sliding door right beside the door.

As they exit the door, they saw a hallway full of doors completely identical to the door of their room. The Hallway has been carpeted throughout. They noticed that the doors were labeled differently by embossing a different number on each door. Nico and Rhoanne have safely assumed that they ended up sleeping inside an Inn which they have never stayed at before. Suddenly, a small person came out from one of the identical doors.

"Aahh! There's Mister Nico and Elder Sister Rhoanne!" 

Little Sage came running to her Elder Sister Rhoanne. As she was about to hug her, she immediately stopped running midway as her nostrils enlarged and face turned sour. 

"Pee--yoo! You guys stink!" 

Little Sage pinched her nose as she complained about their combined stench of alcohol and sweat.
Rhoanne felt disappointed since she was denied a hug from one of her favorite children, Little Sage.
A moment later, Sarah and the rest of the children have also appeared in the same hallway. They came out of the different rooms simultaneously. 

"Ahahaha! The room is fun!"--

"Did you see the other you in your room as well?!--

"The beds are really bouncy! I can jump on them forever!"--

"I wonder if I can take this blanket home with me"-- 

While the children were all talking excitedly about their rooms, Sarah decided to talk to Nico and Rhoanne.

"My Goodness! Are you two alright?" 

Sarah noticed their bloodshot eyes with a stench of vomit, sweat, and alcohol. She couldn't help but worry for her friends. 

"We'll be fine. We just need to eat and we are definitely good!"  

Rhoanne kept rubbing her belly as her thirst and hunger intensifies even more.

"No, we're not fine with just food Rhoanne, we definitely need a hot bath after breakfast!"

Nico reminded his bodyguard that they seriously need to take a bath. Ever since Little Sage made a stinky comment about them, He became more conscious of his appearance. After all, he is a proud merchant, so he doesn't want to ruin his professional demeanor. 

As they made their way to the stairs, everyone paused as they heard two people conversing with each other in one of the rooms. Their voices were getting louder as they heard them made their way to the door.

"Sir Molt! How is your chest?"---

"It's fine. I don't understand it either, I can't find a single bruise on my body and I don't feel pain anywhere! How about you Rita, any injuries?"---

"I'm fine sir, Judging from the mysterious things in the room, we should be in a sorcerer's home, he must have used magic to illuminate the room. Is he the one that saved us?---

"We should think about that later, Deputy Daniel is still Missing! We should ask this sorcerer of yours if he knows anything about Daniel's whereabouts."---

Their door flung open in front of Nico and everybody else.

As Rita laid eyes on Rhoanne and Nico, she was surprised to recognize these two individuals in front of her.

"Y..You! You guys are supposed to be dead!" Rita pointed her finger at the confused Merchant duo.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you Miss, but as you can see, we're still alive and well. You clearly must be talking about someone else. I'm sorry, who might you be?"

Nico believed that this is the first time they met. He was curious about her question that made him think that something happened last night. 

"No... I can never forget a face and the clothes you were wearing. Both of you were sprawled on the ground just outside the dungeon!" 

Nico and Rhoanne shuddered as they remembered some of the shameful events that led them there. 

"Ahh... that. I'm sorry, we might have confused you with that situation. We have been drinking heavily last night, and clearly we have lost consciousness somewhere outside the dungeon entrance."

Nico answered promptly as he himself were not sure of the details that occurred last night.

"They do reek of alcohol Rita, judging from their appearance, they are telling the truth."

Sheriff Molt doesn't need to use Rita's ability to tell if they were lying, Molt has already experienced a fair share of being drunk himself. 

Sherrif Molt's comment made Nico even more conscious. If he were not dying of thirst and hunger, he would have taken a bath right away.

"Hello, Elder Sister, my name is Little Sage! Did you sleep here as well?"

"Urm... Hello... M..my name is Rita, little one." 

Rita was not used to handling children, since her childhood comprised of swordplay and lessons from the clergy which prepared her for high positions such as church, state or commercial affairs.

"You have a beautiful sword there elder sister! what is it called? it's so thin!"

Gretel and Cindy couldn't help but admire her rapier which bears her family crest. 

Since Griffin wanted to be a Knight, there was no way he is not familiar with Phanzal City's Sheriff Molt and his exploits. Griffin and Ray asked all sorts of questions which Molt happily replied to. 

As they went down the stairs together to look for some food and answers, they saw the clay Golem Amanda sweeping the floor so earnestly.
