Therefore, until the 11th chapter, treasure hunters, I was engaged in editing and editing the text 1-2 sometimes 3 times. But I began to lose the basic idea of ​​the novel.

So now I decided to write the main story of this novel about search engines and treasure hunters, in the form of raw materials. And when I'll write a full novel. I can rewrite it again, for the fourth time, with an already more thorough revision.

After all, the editor was also one of the people who sincerely hoped for the short stories to come out to the world.

Peter is doing his usual jogging with his best buddy Tom a beagle. While jogging he just crossed a red beautiful house where a small silhouette can be seen in one of its window. There was boy age between five to six years old with a silky raven hair, deep ocean eyes and a sharp facial feature can seeing standing in-front of the window looking outside with a vague expression seemingly lost in thought. Anyone will be lost looking at those ocean blue eyes.

"Richard, wake up. Breakfast ready."
What ever thought Richard had broke with this sudden intrusion. he took a deep breath and sigh.
'huuhaaaa... its second of january,1980,  What a fine day to start of a new day. Here goes nothing'.
Thinking he took the stack pages from table and went to the kitchen downstairs. There a couple can be seen inside where a fine beautiful raven haired woman in a office suit placing some breakfast and a fine looking man with sharp features reading today's newspaper.
They are Hanna and Davin. They are the Jackson couple or also known as Richards parents. They not only have very successful career  but also well known among their respective circle. One of them is a lawyer other a financial investor. Being a child of this kind of family is both a pressuring and blessing.
After finally entering the kitchen Richard greeted his parents first and put the paper stack on the table.
"Morning mom and Dad."
""Morning.""
After returning the greeting they gazed at the stack of paper on the table than glared at Richard which is like poking a hole in his body.
Seeing the gaze Richard got a bit stiff and nervous like he did something wrong.
"ummm... Dad can you look at this."
Ricard pused the stack of papers in front his father. Curious both parents started checking out the manuscript (which finally been identified). Its a story about an adventure of a clown fish  named 'marvin' looking for his lost son named 'nemo' with a blue tang companion 'dory'.  Not only that there is a bunch of short stories all around this long story creating a beautiful story universe about taking fishes.
The more they read the more they hooked up in the story. sometimes they laughed, often they got shocked all in all they were mesmerized by this stories. After the finished reading they suddenly aware of something became shocked. becase their five old son just wrote a novel, a beautiful one at that but also some bunch of short stories too.
"Son its a really good bunch of stories when did you wrote it " Davin asked.
Richard blushed, "Ummm... i been writing it for few months finally finished it today. This short stories  are the inspirations i had while writing the story"
"Its a fine story young man, but if I am not wrong you wan to publish it right?" asked Hanna.
" Right dad.I would like to publish it." 
"Hmm, my suggestion is to publish this short stories in a newspaper first, after the stories are enough spread and gained enough fame than it can made into a short story collection then this story can be published for maximum popularity. by the the way whats the name of the story "  Hanna replied.

"Great idea !! mother. and  its name is <Finding Nemo>." answered Ric.
"well Richard  its a nice name and your in luck I have a friend in NY times. He can help in publishing this stories." David replied. 
"Thank you so much dad!!!" Richard said while hugging David.
"Ha ha ha... but i have to say you have quit the imagination there. how did you came up with this stories." laughed David.
"That's very true dear. You have a great mind son." replied Hanna.
Richard can only laugh warily. After all he can say that he have seen it in an animation with this story 13 years from now.

I'll try not to make this story hard to comprehend, but life is not something that can be explained with just words.
I remember a saying that goes: It takes three years to learn something good, but just three days to learn something bad.
But how can a thoroughly evil person become good?
My answer? Seven friends.
They walked in front of me, falling into the depths of the unfathomable abyss on my behalf in order to put me back on the right path and to make me cherish everything that I have.
If not for these seven friends, I might've turned out to be a complete bad egg.

Whitey, Fourth Brother, and Brother Si were the three individuals whom I'd like to coin my lucky charms, as I've shared previously. In this last piece of 'Seven Friends', though, I will focus on myself.
After graduation, I started working at the airport.
I was an aircraft officer in charge of guaranteeing scheduled flights. It sounds grand but it really was just only in name.
A general knowledge that I've learned ever since working in the airport was how independent it was, just like a big plot of land.
Airports were just like bus stops to me, with planes being the buses.
Planes belonged to different airlines, as so do the pilots and stewardesses.
Airport staffs were like employees from public transport companies except that you don't see them at every station.
As the name implies, a flight guarantor is anyone who ensures that the landed planes can make the next flight as scheduled. 
My job was to provide food and other necessary supplies that passengers could take down the plane.
Things like food, drinks, magazines, newspapers, vomit bag, utensils, blankets, pillows, and etc.
Of course, we do not merely provide goods for the passengers but also for the pilots and stewardesses.
It was said that airports in other countries would even provide the stewardesses with sanitary towels.
I've been working as an aircraft officer for three years now and I'm about to talk about the three other individuals, namely my colleagues Ah Fu, Ah Fei, and Ah Liang.
Ah Fei was a good man. It was even appropriate to compare his character to Zhang Fei, a fearsome fighter in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Zhang Fei was an unforgettable person with tan skin.
Whenever anyone asks how Ah Fei looks, we would simply activate Baidu image search and key in the term 'black people' before randomly choosing a photograph and claiming him as Ah Fei.
Ah Fei used to be our leader's secretary but upon the latter's resignation, he became our captain.
Reporting flight activities was his main job as the captain, so he's in charge of sending us to receive planes.
I remembered the time when I fell off from a carriage. It was about five in the morning and he drove over just to pick me up and send me to the hospital. I was lucky that it wasn't a serious injury.
It might sound like a dull story to you but it serves as a potential brief to a book.
When I first started writing stories, I often interviewed Ah Fei since he was a bookworm. He would always smile and claim not to understand my stories as they are neither pleasing nor lengthy. He said that they lacked sequence and decent plots. He had also correctly predicted that gaining some fans wouldn't guarantee profits, but I never changed.
Ah Liang wasn't a kind person at all, though he wasn't thoroughly a 'bad' person either. He was, in my opinion, the most knowledgeable of the four of us. He seemed to know everything, especially math. He was able to answer any question pertaining to numbers almost instantaneously. His story could be written into a book but he wasn't keen on it since he's failed a lot in life. Before he started working as an aircraft officer, he ran his own restaurant in Guangzhou. In spite of that, he's definitely one of the most pitiful bosses around.
He would always tell us how he would buy a 12-inch sandwich from Subway if he doesn't feel like eating instant noodles. He would cut the sandwich first into two then into three sections each. In that way, he was able to settle two days worth of breakfast, lunch, and dinner for just over 20 yuan.
At times, he would also briefly mention the people and things he witnessed in the restaurant.
Even then, those bits of information were enough for me to compile into a good story.
Ah Fu joined some time later. He's older than all of us but he looked decently young. When I first started becoming a staff trainer of sorts, I complimented him for being serious at work. I was shocked to find out later on that he was seven years older than me. Ah Fu has fewer stories to share but each one was a classic. It's a pity that this story was about me, but I'd definitely share his story if there's a chance in the future.
Just like that, the three of them became my friends, colleagues, and dorm mates.
The four of us have been living each day happily and that's how Short, Light, Free came about after we moved into our new apartment.
I felt extremely lucky for having three loving colleagues. It's because of them that I've been able to focus all my energy on writing.
I'm about to share my story in detail.
Three years ago, when I first entered the airport, I worked on alternate days.
I had to work a 16-hour to 24-hour shift each time.
I got up at 4:30 in the morning and would only leave work at five in the afternoon if I'm lucky.
If not, I would have to stay until five the next morning.
We had a 24-hour worth of workload dumped on us.
The rest day that we get was really just for us catch up on our rest and sleep.
Out of the 24 hours, then, only 10 to 14 hours were truly left for us.
Initially, it really wasn't tiring at all since we could look forward to resting the next day.
Plus, things became much easier when it was about time to knock off. Knowing that the happenings of the next day would be none of our business was like finishing school on a Friday. We could look forward to the beautiful and free weekend.
You might think that the most unbearable part was the night before our next shift, right?
No. It's actually the morning of the rest day.
Knowing that the next shift would begin the next morning, I would want to spend my rest day carefreely. As such, I played so many games and quickly got addicted within half a year.
Whitey brought me to the gaming cafe and Brother Si informed me that held-held controller games were about to be eliminated.
Online gaming was the new thing that people would patronize because it was more convenient and speedy.
As long as you remember your account details and patiently wait for downloads and updates, you'll be able to get hold of the latest games.
If I get sick of the old games, I would simply switch to a new one. This was exactly how I spent my rest days.
One day, amidst my absolutely boring life, I found her.
An adorable gamer girl that was very much different from us.
She enjoyed literature. Real literature.
I would observe her as she stays up to read her books and even pen down her reflections after.
She made me think about my story-writing past.
Stories which I had thought were good.
After some time, I got close to her.
Do you guys remember 'I'm Not Bad'? That was my very first story. It was also the first story I shared with her.
We made a pact. I was to tell her a bedtime story every night.
This went on for a whole month, which kinda set the tone for Short, Light, Free.
That night, after sharing my last story, I confessed my secret to her and to my surprise, she gladly accepted it.
She mentioned that she couldn't find anything about my stories online, to which I replied, "Because they're my stories."
"Why haven't you tried sharing these stories online?" she asked.
I pondered over her words for the whole of that night. I actually felt happy that she had asked that question.
Why shouldn't I share them with everyone?
I sat in front of the computer, thinking hard.
I tried coming up with a pen name to no avail.
Let it be.
Right. Let it be. No matter what happens, even if the people don't appreciate my work, I'd just let it be.
I typed that in and pressed confirm. Thinking back now, I have no idea how I carried out such a decisive action.
'Let it be' became my pen name.
My next question: What do I write?
Fairytale? Maybe.
Science fiction? A bit.
Short pieces? Indeed.
Scattered? Yeah, all kinds.
So what exactly is it?
I found a term after some search: Light stories/reads.
My stories were simple, a mixture and unrestricted.
Short, Light, Free...
I started working on it, adding one story after another into the collection.
I gave up many things for this.
Do you remember what I said about my rest days?
No more games. At times, I would even get a bottle of white wine and Red Bull to keep me company as I wrote through the night.
I spent my days like that for half a year.
I was in the third year of my job, which was also the first year into my book when the government decided to double the airport's runway from 1.5km to 3km.
I've been to bigger airports, where I had to walk a whole 10 minutes just to exit the place.
It was something our airport was aiming to achieve.
The space that they needed for the expansion was exactly where our dorm was situated.
It was something the airport wouldn't hesitate to tear down.
We were left with no choice but to seek another accommodation.
For a university graduate like me, I had no idea how difficult moving house was.
The four of us eventually settled in a small village near the airport.
Our house consisted of four rooms, a living area, and two bathrooms.
It was in there that I've written most of my stories.
Recently, however, I've left the airport and returned to the city. All for love.
Short, Light, Free will be coming to an end, but I will be starting a new book.
It would fill up the holes left from some old stories.
It would also be stripped off of some of my bad writing habits.
I hope to improve and hope that my readers will like the changes that I'll be attempting.
Perhaps 63 is a number I can't escape since I'm choosing to announce the end of my book 630,000 words in.
I will also be closing this book with the 63rd story.

A series of short stories, of different genres. 
Simple yet thought-provoking reads. 

"The competition will be held before the festival right?.. I heard that our teacher will be picking some students that will participate in the competition today after lunch right?" Xerxes asked while writing a story on a peice of paper.

Many of them decided to create their own stories.. And at the end, They will decide which story has the best idea and they will just add some ideas from the other stories. They will create two main stories that will be played at the start of the festival and at the end. There are some students too who are making the short stories that will be played as commercials to attract more people.

Their teacher gave them two hours to get ready and after those two hours, It's already lunch time. Xerxes and the other students who created their own stories sat at the biggest table at the cafeteria to discuss about the two main stories and... the students that are responsible for the short stories gathered at the table next to them.

Xerxes decided to change a few things so that there will be time for the actors to rest, They decided to create more commercials that will appear at the middle of the story so there will be a little time for the actors to rest. 

They will also add songs so that the performance will become lively.

The first story is about a cold hearted pirate who lost all his treasures because his ship crashed into a big rock at the middle of the sea! (Special effects) Thankfully he survived but after that, He will face multiple problems! Now that all of his men died because his ship crashed, There's no one else who is willing to protect and serve him.

A lot of bandits chased him every where.. He had no choice but to fight back! (Special effects) And after a while of running away from bandits, He encountered a beautiful lady who made his heart beat faster. The woman helped him.. She gave him food and shelter without knowing who he really is and what happened to him.

The pirate didn't know that he is actually falling inlove with the woman! (Song: Don't know what love is) They started dancing... Going with the flow.. As if there's no tomorrow. At the end of the song, They will kiss under the moon light in the balcony with special effects. "I love you.." The woman said

"I love you too"

When the morning came, The pirate noticed that the woman isn't with him anymore! He found a letter at the table saying.. That the woman has been kidnapped and if he doesn't come and bring some treasures, The bandits will kill the woman he love

(Short stories will enter) then after two short stories, The people will be given five minutes... They can use those five minutes to buy food or to go to the bathroom.

After five minutes, The story will continue. The pirate will go to the bandits place to get his woman back! He will suffer a lot of damages but he will still continue! He didn't know that the bandits leader is actually the woman's dad and the woman herself will stop him from saving her.

"Please don't!.. My father will kill you.. Please.." 

"No! I must, My love.. you don't need a father like him! nor a family like his.. We can create our own! I will get you out of this hell! I promise"

The pirate faced the womans father.. But he didn't won. Flash back started to appear in his head as he watch his woman's father laugh at him. 

The man started walking away towards his daughter.. That's when the pirate decided to stand up and fight for his love once more. He knocked the man's head making him fall into the ground with a loud thud.. Then the woman and the pirate lived happily ever after

"It's good.. What about the short stories??" Xerxes asked Nao whose job is to manage the students creating the short stories

"It's going well.. The first short story is about a cat and a dog always fighting, One day their owner left them alone in their house.. They started to fight over a rat.. Actually, We thought that what if the short stories that we will make are connected? Do you get what I mean?" Nao asked as she continue to write something on the paper

Xerxes stood up while streching his arms, "If that's what you want.. Make sure it's possible to do alright? By the way, Let's focus on selling food in the middle of the festival.. I'm sure we can make it in time" 

-At class-

"Of course.. Xerxes and Dante will be a part of the competition!.. Then, Nao.. And.. Hhm.. What was your name again?" The teacher asked the girl at the back with strawberry blonde hair 

"It's Victoria sir.. Victoria Wilson." 

'Her? Isn't she the girl who bumped into me?..I didn't know we are in the same class' Dante said to himself after seeing the girl at the back

Speaking of Dante, He will be the pirate at the first story.. The roles were actually annouced earlier as well but they still don't know who can be the woman. Most of the girls has their own roles already.. 

After hearing tne girls response, The teacher closed his eyes as he speak "So.. The students that will participate in the competition will be Xerxes, Dante, Nao and Victoria.. You guys should practice.. Hey Xerxes, Your a gun user too right? so can you help both Nao and Dante? and where's Dewayde?.. Dewayde can you teach Victoria? She's a mage."

After a while.. The bell rang which means it's finally time to go home. This time, Wane didn't come with Xerxes and Nao.. Seems like Wane is up to something. Dante was forced to come with Xerxes so that they can practice but to be honest Dante is actually excited to learn more from Xerxes.
