Welcome to Beach Read containing nine of Marie Force's single title contemporary romances, all of which have been reader favorites! Here you’ll find everything from steamy couples in Marfa, Texas, to an unlucky-in-love super model to a prominent doctor who falls in love with his best friend’s girlfriend to a woman putting her life back together after the death of her mother to a young couple separated by tragedy but brought back together by love. This is about a boy who gains power from everything he reads. He also has some other issues to deal with, like the chaos, but he is also part of the chaos. His abilities and powers will continue to grow and manifest, but which side will he stand on?

P.S. I am just in 8th grade so don't judge too much, but leave some suggestions or reviews so I can continue to grow as a writer and make the story better.

Living in the city is nice. The sound of the cars beeping on the streets  in the cold atmosphere with a hot cup of coffee in hand.  It's amazing. I smiled as I finished reading the last chapter of a novel, I put the book beside me, looked at it and smiled, "The disappearance of Emily Waters"

The ending is great but kind of hanging. I wonder what happened at the ending, it's a cliffhanger but even it is a cling hanger, I like it. It seems the author want us to theorize what will happen after the ending. 
It's a mystery with a bit of horror book and surprisingly, I am a fan of reading this kind of books. I did read a lot of books with different genres but after breaking up with my girlfriend, I couldn't bring myself reading romance again. Every time I read romance books, it reminds me of her especially we both read romance books and spend the day together at the library or in a café, reading books silently. 
Not wanting to reminiscing the past, I stood up, grabbed my book and went downstairs. I'm living in a two-storey apartment, away from my home. Living alone without my parents is great but at the same time, it makes me feel like lonely. I went inside my apartment room and grabbed my black and grey striped scarf that is hanging on standing coat rack. The building is old and a bit run down, I rushed downstairs. The orange and blue sky and the air smells afternoon as I got outside of the apartment. People walking back and forth, it really is a busy street. 

I wandered my eyes around as I walked through the sidewalk, its been 4 months and I can't still get enough of the new life here. Living in a suburban area before, it was quiet and peaceful. The thought of the city back then wasn't much of a good idea for the fact that a city is a place that is surrounded with the honking of cars, people walking back and forth in a street intersection. 
The subtle sound of people silently reading their books and some are studying. The place is perfect for someone who loves to immerse their selves in a book. The brown colored shelves with books being arranged in different colors on different covers. I enjoyed the sound of silence in the library. 
"Here, thank you" I said as I handed my book to the librarian, Mr. Hawthorne. He smiled at me, wrinkles are visible on the side of his lips. 

"Mr. Hawthorne, you are already old.. do you still want to work here? You can enjoy your life aside from working here." He inserted the book that I handed earlier on the shelf before replying me. He smiled and replied, "I enjoyed working here, young lad. This is a place for me to relax and I like people coming here to read and escape themselves by reading a book" 
I smiled at him after hearing his words. He is old but seemed to enjoy himself, serving the library and immersing himself with books. 

"Do you want to borrow another book?" Mr. Hawthorne asked as he wandered his eyes on the book shelves. Every books that was arranged on the shelves, I've already read all of them. 
"Maybe next time. Would you please tell me when will new books arrived?' Mr. Hawthorne smiled and nodded. "Of course. Still horror and thrillers?" 
I nodded, "yes, please." I grabbed the pen on the side of the librarian's desk and pulled a piece of sticky note and scribbled my number for him to contact me and tell me when will new books arrived. 

"Thanks, Mr. Hawthorne" I said with a smile and went out. 
I have no books to read yet. As I walked myself back to my apartment, I halted my tracks as I notice a shop. The black painted wall with golden letters reads " Old West Antiques". I walked towards the shop and peak from its window. There is an old man on a cash register. By the looks of his face, he is sad. It's presumably no on visited his shop, I decided to went inside. 
The iron door bell chime rings as I entered. The old man's face lift up as he heard it, he greeted me with a smile and walked towards me. 
"Welcome! I'm happy that you visit, don���t hesitate to explore" he said, smiling. I smiled back and nodded. I wandered my eyes around, he followed me as I explored. The porcelain plates and golden rimmed mirrors were displayed. How this objects were so old yet so beautiful. 

"May I?" I asked as I pointed on the old typewriter. 

"Of course" he said. I gently grazed my fingers on the typewriter. I looked at every objects-- objects that travelled through time and was once man's treasure. The smell of cinnamon envelops me as I further looked around. I noticed a dark brown shelf and a book. One book in it. I walked towards it and grab the book, I stared at it and let my fingers grazed upon its cover. 

"Tales of Horror" it reads. 
This kind of book is my favorite. I looked at the old man behind me, he just smiled at me. 
"How much is this? I want to buy it" The old man walk towards me and look what I'm holding. "It'll be free, young lad." 

My eyes widened out of surprise. 

"A-Are you sure? I mean.. this book seems good" I said, examining the book. A smile is all his reply, "But thank you." 

"I'm just glad I have my first customer." 

I looked at him and asked, "Is this place never visited by people before?" and wandered my eyes around the antique shop. He nodded and walks towards the cash register and looked around, admiring the beauty of the objects that is surrounded in his shop. 
"I almost think that I should not open a shop like this because I know no one will visit this shop" he said, emanating sadness in his voice. 
"Visiting antique shop is not my thing but after visiting this antique shop for the very first time, it's not that bad. It's not that bad especially I got this book.. for free" I said and he gently chuckles. 
I walked towards him and give him some of my money, "but please take this. I'm really glad I visited your shop. And I know some people would visit this shop soon" 
All could he reply is a smile. "Thank you, young lad" I smiled back at him as I walked myself to the door. 

"I'll be going now, thank you for this book." I said, lifting the book. 
"You're welcome, young lad. Enjoy reading it" I smiled and went out of the store. 
As I arrived on my apartment, I settle myself in my bed and looked at the book. I grabbed it, the black leather book and the title that reads, "Dark Series: Tales of Horror" I flipped the back of the book and read its synopsis. 

Collection of horror stories with a tinch of mystery and thriller. Very interesting.  I flipped and skim on its table of contents. Lot of different volume with short descriptions, I flipped the next page and start reading it.  
Hours passed by, Alexander immersed himself reading that he didn't track of the time. As he open the book earlier, it amazes him how they're many different type of stories. 
"The lights blink on and off as I walked passed the hallway. The sound of my footsteps echoing through the hallway made me feel uneasy…" Alexander read with his eyes almost closing and doze off to sleep.

Life went twist and turn as Alexander Hughes, a 20 year old college student woke up in an unusual setting. Not later than he realized he is in the book that a local antique owner shop gave him for free. Little did he know that the more he encountered characters that involves in horrifying events and chilling chapters, the more it is endless. Sooner, a character from a book told him that reading the book was a mistake. Could Alexander find his way out of the book or would he be eternally stuck between the pages that filled with so much suspense? Was it a dream or was he played under the hands of someone he didn’t expect to? 

This story contains extreme language, bit of violence , gore and such that some readers mind find it disturbing.

She received her first paycheck from Ardor and knew exactly where she wanted to spend it. Nathan took her to the bookstore where she met Kelsey for the first time. She took a cart, knowing she will be buying more than a few books.

She went straight to the Fiction shelves. She studied the covers, picked out the most interesting titles, read the synopsis and followed her gut instinct whether to put it in the cart or put it back on the shelves. She could do that for hours, while Nathan was in the Business section because that's what he was reading lately.

She saw him reading by the store window. The sunlight penetrated the glass and made his skin looked golden. He was looking down on his book, he pouted his lips. The world around him seemed to disappear, he wasn't aware of her watching him. He was like her when he reads, she thought. She could spend hours in that store, and he wouldn't be bothered waiting for her.

She turned to the Literature aisle, looked at the top shelves where all the dead poets lined up. She already owned most of the books. She tried to reach her favorite one but it was too high. A longer arm aimed for it from behind her, a scent of Nathan's cologne followed it.

"I've never read this one before," he said standing really close to her.

"That's my favorite, I left it at home ... I'm thinking to buy another one, just in case."

He laughed, "Just in case of what? But that's a good strategy though, always have a backup ... I want to read this ... I guess I've found the culprit, this was exactly where I met Kelsey the first time, she was buying books for you, wasn't she?" he looked straight into her eyes.

She shrugged with a smile, "Guilty."

"So ... if you had come with her that summer, I would've bumped into you instead of her?" he wondered.

She pursed her lips, "That's highly likely, this is a great store ... but then you wouldn't be dating the hottest girl in Gastonburry."

He looked down, lost his smile, and let out a long exhale. "Right."

"I think I'm done here," she said.

He looked at her half full cart, "Wow, that looks awesome, are you going to read them all in one night?"

She laughed, there were close to 20 books in her cart, "That's for the whole month or maybe more 'cause I need to do my report."

He grabbed the cart and took the poetry book that was going to be his new favorite, "This will be my bonus for you, let's check-out."

"What? I can't let you pay for that ... that's a lot of books," she refused.

"You deserve a bonus for all the work you put in, anyways, these books are going on my shelves, you won't be taking them back to Gastonburry, would you?" He had a point.

"I guess not."

"Great, so that's settled ... we'll have a reading fest tonight, I'll fix a nice dinner, we'll get some wine, we'll read, and then music, and then desert ... and then we can talk about it 'til sunrise ... you know, a stay at home nerdy weekend," he sounded excited.

She laughed, it sounded like a dream. It was something she would enjoy by herself, and now there's someone that enjoys it as much as she does. She remembered him saying, 'There's nothing sexier than a girl who reads.' Dido.

Home made gourmet looked so easy in Nathan's hands. She sat by the kitchen island, reading one of their new books while cooked. "Wow, I'm liking this one, it's gonna be hard to put down," a wide smile spread across her face. She was four chapters in, the story was already clutching her.

"Oh I know the kind ... I wanna read that one too, no spoilers please," he was seasoning his food, flipping his tools like a pro.

Her face was covered by the book, eyes glued to the pages. Once in awhile she made humming sounds, a chuckle or an exasperating sigh. He smiled amused, splashed some white wine to the fish, then poured some for himself and some for Julie. "It's that good, huh?" he offered a toast. She quickly finished the last line, clinked her glass with Nathan's, then marked the book and closed it.

"It's really good," she gulped her wine.

Their eyes met. He wanted to tell her how much he loves looking at her getting lost in a story, but his face said it all.

"If you like suspense thrillers ..." she tapped on the book, "This is the best I've read in years ... but I have to finish it to conclude the entirety of it, and then I'll tell you all about it."

He laughed, "I'm gonna read that right after you finish, do not attempt to spoil that for me ... I'm gonna read some romance after this, you know, to infuse a little romantic spirit into the tragic stricken love life of mine."

"Oh, come on, long distance relationships are not tragic, although, it is kind of sad to spend Friday night with a book nerd at home," she giggled.

"Trust me, it's tragic, and this is not even close to sad ... I actually prefer this than a noisy night life, and it's better with company."

They clinked glasses to that.

They started eating while discussing about books they've read, their favorite authors, movie adaptations, and everything else other than their tragic love life. After dinner, they sat in the living room area with their book of choice, and spend comfortable silence together. Commenting on what they were reading once in awhile, and went back to it right after.

He really did read a romance novel. He read only selected few, he said. But nonetheless, he was reading it. Julie never came across a guy who reads as much as she does, a romance novel especially.

Two hours into their reading session, his phone rang.

"Hey," he picked up.

She could tell from his tone, it was Kelsey.

"What?" he sounded surprised. He stood up from his reading position, and walked to the front door.

"Surprise!!" Kelsey's voice can be heard from the living room.

"Oh my God! Hi!" Nathan replied.

The silence that followed can only be assumed that they were kissing. She would've jumped to welcome her but she didn't want to interrupt their kiss.

When she finally stormed into the living room, they hugged and screamed. "I miss you so much! I thought I'd crash into your island weekend here and get a taste of that New Year's party I missed," Kelsey said with twinkles in her eyes. She looked around and saw all the books and wine bottles, "Wow ... you two are really going all the way tonight, aren't you?" she laughed.

Julie glanced at Nathan who was standing idle by the dining table, unsure of what he needed to do.

"You want some wine, Kells?"

"Oh, yeah, I could use a pre-drink, come on let's get dressed and go to that rock n' roll bar you told me about," she took the glass from Nathan's hand.

"Now?" he asked.

"Sure ... why not? I did came all this way for the weekend, Gastonburry was a bit dull ... so I thought I pay a visit to my hot boyfriend and let him take me out on an island night life," she came over to Nathan and kissed him.

"Yeah ... I think you should catch up and check out The Rockabillies ... or other bars you might like, I'm just gonna stay home and read tonight," Julie said. Nathan gave her a sharp disagreeing look.

"Yeah, babe, let's get out and have some fun, a little dancing, some island cocktails, and then we come back and catch up some more," she bit her lower lip and ran her hand under his shirt. She caught his lips and engulfed them in her kiss, Julie looked away.

"Julie, you sure you don't want to come?" he tried.

"No, you guys go ahead and have fun ... I'm just gonna finish this one and drink all your wine," she lifted her book with a grin.

"Oh don't mind her, she won't put down her book even if it's the end of the world," Kelsey pressed herself against Nathan, he couldn't possibly say 'no' to her after she took an eight hour flight just to spend the weekend with him.

"Okay ... let me change first," he took her hands out of his shirt and went to his room.

"Did Preston told you I was coming?" Kelsey threw herself by her side.

"No, I was as surprised as Nathan was."

"Good, I told him not to tell you, he said if he called you he would definitely slip up, so he wants you to call him after I get here."

"He's not out clubbing on a Friday night?"

"Nope, he's waiting for your call ... he's been brooding lately, its annoying, he's not much fun without you."

Nathan came out of his room in a long sleeve shirt pulled to the elbow. He wore his favorite washed out jeans and smelled like a Friday night. His eyes fell to Julie's, hoping she would change her mind or begged him not to go.

"Great! Let's go!" Kelsey jumped to her feet.

11 PM Friday night was her best time. Nathan looked down, there was no chance he was getting out of this one.

"Have fun guys! I won't wait up!" Julie waived at them.

"Thanks babe, we'll catch up tomorrow, 'kay?" Kelsey kissed her cheek.

Nathan didn't even say his goodbye, just a simple waive and a disappointed look on his face.

"Don't forget to call Preston," Kelsey added as she slipped her arm around Nathan's.

Julie caught a look from Nathan's eyes. "I won't," she said.

They stepped out and Nathan slammed the door just a little too hard.

"Sorry for my spoiled brat who ruined your day. I'm Jack, Hartpeler's father and the head of parliament. But don't get me wrong. He used his own money and connection to make himself become a city mayor."
"Ah... It's fine, uncle. He is a nice person after all." Kuso stood and talked to my dad. However, rather than looking at her in respect. He looked at her in a different way which led him to say,
"Err... Are you his girlfriend? If yes, then I would never think that my loner son could be able to find someone dashing like you. Mind knowing your name?"
"I'm his friend. My name is Kuso Amakusa, a software developer."
"Ah!! I remember that Hart told me that he wanted to meet a software developer for the talk about the smart grid concept. So, it's you?"
Kuso nodded, and then. I wanted to say something, but... She whispered in my brain.
"Let's make up some acting game. Don't forget that we are from your writing world. They would not believe that I'm a Technoknight. So, I will handle the rest. Just cooperate with me."
"Got it," I replied in a whisper. And then, she continued to talk to my dad,
"Yes. I am."
"She looks promising, Hart. Mind knowing which company she had lead under?"
I answered my dad to cooperate with her,
"Ah, she is from my tech company, dad. I recruited her from Japan. She was a tech lead from a startup before. I decided to recruit her since she wanted to learn and improve our smart grid system."
My dad looked at her, and then. Looked at me, he smiled widely as he knew that his son had managed to found a great talent. Which led my dad to remark me.
"Good! I can tell that she looks very smart as well. Let me entrust my son to you, hope you guys can work together to create a better smart city for this place."
He shook her hand and then, she answered to him,
"Ah sure. Let me meet you once I have done with the work."
"Ah, no needed!!" He smiled, and then. He whispered to her.
"I know that you were acting. Technoknight"
"What?"
"Fuck! I'm your fan dimwit! Still. Thank you for helping my son!!"
Then, both of them had smiled awkwardly, and my dad approached me and giving me his credit card, he told me,
"Use it. Buy what your fellow needed for. More facilities could use means more products will be generated. Am I right?"
I replied to him in a curious tone as I confused with the current situation now,
"Well... Dad? I don't need a credit card at all. Just a debit is enough..."
He looked at me, and then he whispered,
"Fuck you, Hart! You did not tell me that my simp is there!!"
"I will tell mama that you are simping my original characters!"
He showed his tongue as a sign of mockery, and he said.
"Please invest a lot of money to her for me. Don't tell anyone about it!! Or I will report you for the corruption case."
"Fuck you dad!" I replied to him as he knew that I did corrupt for some cash just to improve the GIS system in the city. But at that time. I don't have money at all, and they only gave me the budget that literally only be able to cover half of the expenses. So I have no choice but to corrupt some. But, I never do that anymore after the case of it!
Without any delay, he remarked,
"Fuck back!"
He left and then he smiled at the peer of mine. Before that he left us, he said.
"Anyways, Hart. Don't forget to submit the progress of your last day job later after you are home."
"As you wish, dad!"
My dad was leaving. And then, when he vanished. I looked at the four, telling them.
"Don't mind about my dad. He is a bit otaku indeed!"
Kuso chuckled and she said,
"Not mentioning the fact that he knew that four of us are not from this world. Can you tell me about him, Hartpeler?" 
When she looked at me, she wanted to ask me why my dad know that they are not from the same world, which led me to answer.
"He was the proofreader of all of your books before. So that's why that he could guess it so easily. Especially that four of you had at least one of my traits. Such as Kuso with my annoying way to speak style, Yao Xuan with my flexing habit, Lira who shared the same face with me, and Lex who shared the same face with my brother. Which is why he could figure it out so easily."
Four of them looked at me, and then. They answered in the same tone,
"Ah, I see..."
I glared at them with that mocking expression from them, which made me state while glaring at them.
"Why do you guys use the same tone as if that I had cringed some stuff?"
The twins started first,
"You are self inserting too much." The older twin remarked, and then, the younger twin continued.
"And not to mention that you have a horrible grammar that led your dad to rewrite it."
Then, Yao Xuan continued,
"Also. Let alone that stupid comment. Even you write this chapter horribly as well!"
"Why?" I looked at them and questioned them with a seriously unamused look.
However, four of them smiled. And they said,
"But we don't care about it."
"Why?" I questioned them again as I don't even know what I should say since they are always replying in sync.
"Simple," Kuso answered me, and then. It continued by Yao Xuan,
"Cause that's you. Hartpeler, the author known for his insane writing speed and genius way of thinking anything out of the box!"
"Not to mention how genius he is when it comes to writing gore." The older twin complimented me when he looked at me, and then. The younger twin remarked.
"Don't forget that He is a real talent as well when it comes to comedy and romance. He made the romance between Yao Xuan and Hu Jia Hao looked so fun but also serious."
"Not only it, Hartpeler. You made Kuso always spanking someone for fun and it is indeed entertaining anyone who reads your book."
"Not to mention how genius he is when it comes to writing gore." The older twin complimented me when he looked at me, and then. The younger twin remarked.

I looked at them. But, I don't even know what I should say, considering they are trying to appease me. So, I decided to shift the topic by saying.
"Anyways, It's only Yao Xuan who haven't buy anything she wanted for. State your request?"
Yao Xuan silenced, and then. She answered me,
"Well... I don't know what I can buy for, maybe a watch? Or maybe a shoe? I don't know. Cause I don't really like a flamboyant fashion."
"Do you know that by giving you shoe. It means that I will chase you out, didn't you know it yourself as a Chinese?" I remarked to her in an annoyed tone as she did not know about the gifting tradition. And as a Chinese myself, it was a serious annoyance.
But, she just casually said.
"I don't even care about those traditions. Bumpkin!"
"What?" I looked at her with an unamused face, feels like I want to drop her book now. But, I have to endure it which led me to say.
"Never mind, just state what you need? Or do you need a bra since you are not wearing any?"
"I hope it's a satire, Hart. Put those words back!" 
I know she was angry. But that was a legit thing I could say, So...
"Well.. I plan nothing to put that back which.... AAAAAAAAAAA!!!"
She pinched my arm hard and then, she replied to me.
"This is the fucking trend! I don't need extravagant trend but I will only choose a nice and comfortable trend for me. If you dare to say that this is not the trend, then I will blow your dick off!"
I legit shivered when she said so, especially that I adjusted her to become a cultivator who could one-shot kill basically anything.
I was gulping after I know that fact. And it led me to say,
"What should I buy for you then?"
She answered me,
"Guess it yourself. You are an author of ours, so you know me better than myself!"
Fuck! She is basically like that AI chatbot! If I have to guess what was on the chatbot's mind. This means that I will spend all of my lifespans just for it! Please no! I hate that!
But still. Let me guess... Maybe...
"How about I'm buying you Himalayan salt?"
"Himalayan salt?" Lira looked at me in a confused look, and then. Lex reacted,
"It sounds legit bizarre. Mind knowing what was that?"
I answered them.
"Just go with me, I will show it to you guys!"

The session went for almost forty minutes.
After that, she left the clinic and went to  S&W publications. Her new book would be on the market in two days. She decided to pay a visit to Mr. collins and Kate.

Sonnet entered the building,  showed her passing card to the guards, and directly went to  Mr. Collins's office.
She knocked at the door and on receiving the approval she entered the room.

" Oh, Sonnet Sterling! You created a fine piece of art again. Didn't you? God bless Kate for bringing you here. Why are you frozen there? Don't tell me girl you don't know what's happening on Book reads? Many top book bloggers and reviewers have posted their reviews on your new book. It is one of the most anticipated books of the year. Good. Good. Hahaha," Mr.Collins exclaimed. Happiness and satisfaction were visible on his face.

But after observing Sonnet's detached expression he didn't know whether to laugh or to cry.

This girl! She had no idea what it meant for the firm.

Sonnet had no idea what had happened after she submitted her manuscript. To be honest she was not very enthusiastic about this book. She was not even aware of the fact that Kate had sent copies to several bloggers and reviewers.

 One thing she realized was people were crazy after the romance genre. All she had to do was pour romance in any book and boom it was a hit.

"Mr. Collins, I heard you were quite opposed to the ending?" Sonnet asked the old man.


Wasn't he the same man who asked for a sweet and fluffy epilogue?

"Ah, that? What can I do people love your dark romance? Though a sweet story will be something different from your regular writing."

"But that's not my cup of tea."

"Then make it your cup of tea."

"Sorry Mr. Collins, I'm a writer, not a barista."


One after one, everyone came and congratulated Sonnet. Sonnet knew that the book was not possible without all these people. 



Kate appeared and wrapped the stiff Sonnet in a big hug and murmured congratulations. She was proud of her friend. She had witnessed Sonnet's constant struggle with life. 

And seeing her progress, she was proud as a mother.


Sonnet smiled softly at her and spoke shocking every present over there.

" If all of you, are so happy and want to celebrate then it must be a big hit. How about I throw you guys a celebratory dinner at your decided place?"

Sonnet never threw parties. Heck, she never even bothered to attend any gathering. Kate touched her forehead with her hand to check if she had any fever. The temperature was not abnormal. She couldn't help but ask, "Are you okay baby Sona?"

Kate and her obsession with nicknames. 

"Can you stop this? Do you want it or not? Take it or leave it? It's a limited period offer." Sonnet grumbled.

She was throwing a feast for these people! 

Hmmph!


"No no we're accepting it obviously.@7 guys meet us at LA Amour, " replied kate hastily afraid that Sonnet would change her mind.

Sonnet huffed and puffed, then left the office to head back to her apartment. Her batman cave. Her safe haven.


As she exited the cabin,  she noticed something strange in the office foyer. She saw once dried stems of lucky Bamboo plants had a single green leaf on them. That dried plant was here for a month and nobody threw it out but what's strange was that it had a green leaf and looked like it was growing again.


 Sonnet was left stunned. She didn't know if it was a coincidence or what. Dr. Jones's words rang in her mind. She left the building and hailed a cab and got away.


Zephy Santos's Point of View

As I was scrolling on my news feed yesterday, Rere messaged me na open for manuscript submission ang Bookworms Lab Publishing Corporation and Nana is urging me to send an application for my second story, Love in Kindness. Actually, aligaga ako ngayon sa pag-edit ng mga chapters, I'm also trying to reach the maximum limit of words used.

I'm planning to submit my story, malay natin umabot hanggang second deliberation just like my first story but, if ever na fail then I need to write better, yung papasa sa masa and most specially sa editors ng BLP Corp. My daily routines are writing drafts in the morning, editing during lunch and publishing chapters at night.

'Yan ang buhay ko as an aspiring writer and actually, I just published my first ever romance drama story entitled Crowded Hearts: Between Love and Passion. Luckily, I'm receiving a thousand monthly reads and good feedback from my readers. Summer vacation kasi so sinusulit ko yung time to become productive.

I'm Zephyana Del Cero, people close to call me Zephy and I am also known on my penname Unnie Zephy. My best friends and Lexi call me Ate Zeze. But, only my boyfriend Jash call me love.

I'm a hopeful romantic, dramatic poet and an aspiring writer who aims to inspire people through my stories. I'm also a die hard fan of BTS and I have a fan boy co-A.R.M.Y boyfriend that will soon pursue his passion as an idol. And actually, my first fictional romance drama story is inspired with our true love story.

"Ate, what do you want coffee or tea?" Biglang sulpot naman ni Dwayne.

"Hay, naku! Siguro may ipapabili ka na naman noh. Nagkukusa ka lang namang ipagtimpla ako kapag may kailangan ka eh." Siningkitan ko ito ng mata.

"Sige na, please." Pagmamakaawa nito.

"Alam mo namang hindi kita matiis eh, ano ba 'yun?" Tanong ko sa kaniya.

"Napanggigilan ko kasi 'yung tablet ko, ayun basag yung screen." Nakatangong saad nito.

"Here's my old phone, 'wag mong sirain agad 'yan wala pa tayong pambili ng bago, okay. Unahin palagi ang assignments and projects before watching YouTube videos and playing games. Don't bring it on school unless your teacher recquires you na magdala ng phone para hindi yan manakaw, understood?" Pagpapaalala ko naman dito.

"Noted! Thank you, Ate." Napangiti ito na naging dahilan upang lalong lumiit ang mga singit nitong mga mata.

"Wait, baka nakalimutan mo, sabi mo kanina ipagtitimpla mo ako ng coffee or tea, remember?"

"Oo nga pala, so nakapili ka na ba ng order mo, ma'am?"

"Sus, nag-umpisa na siyang mambola. My order is Kopiko 3.1, sir."

"Copy that, wait a minute, I shall return immediately."

Niyakap ako nito at saka masayang tumakbo palabas ng kwarto ko. Kasalukuyan namang nagre-review si Zyren dahil examination week na nila. And, just like any other day naaamoy ko na naman ang masarap na niluluto ni Papa. Nagugutom tuloy ako but, I'll finish this second part of my story first. I know my readers are waiting for updates at sino naman kayang matutuwa sa bitin na kwento.

"Ate, can I stay here for a while? Ang ingay kasi ng kapitbahay eh, dinig ko sa kwarto ang lakas ng boses nung mag-asawa, they keep on fighting. Nakaka-istorbo na 'yung gabi-gabi nilang pagsusumbatan, bakit pa kasi sila nagpakasal kung hindi rin naman pala sila magkasundo?"

Zyren entered my room holding her books and phone with an angry face. Gigil na gigil nga magkwento eh, gusto pa yata makigulo sa neighborhood naming akala mo nakatira sa bundok, pakiramdam yata nila there are no houses next to them. Bwisit, nakakabulabog.

"Yeah, anytime basta 'wag ka lang tumulad sa kanila at mag-ingay dito. Even my peaceful mind gumugulo lalo nung one time na para na silang lion at tigreng nagpapatayan. Close the door so we can both work quietly. I heard na may manliligaw ka na raw, kapag sinagot mo 'yun hindi ko lang babawiin 'yang phone, magself support ka na rin sa pag-aaral mo." Strict and straight forward kung saad dito.

"Wala kang dapat ipag-alala Ate, pumasok ako sa school to study and learn, hindi para lalaki ang atupagin. Idol kaya kita, nga pala my schoolmates are asking me to meet you kung pwede lang naman but just don't mind them if you don't want. Sikat ka na pala, naghihintay sila ng update sa Love in Kindness at kung may book 2 daw ba ang Crowded Hearts?"

"That's good, maintain your high grades. About your schoolmates, I'll find time na ma-meet sila and about the update of Love in Kindness, susubukan kong matapos tonight. Gusto ko ring magka-book 2 ang Crowded Hearts, for now gusto ko munang tapusin ng LIK."

I'm glad na may nakakakilala sa'kin at may nagbabasa sa Wattpad ng mga pina-publish kong fiction stories. My followers, reads, votes and comments are increasing and I'm truly overwhelmed na I'm having my own fan base just like my favorite authors.

May mga nagtatanong kung ano raw ba ang sikreto ko on making my stories, ang sagot ko naman sa mga katulad kong aspiring writer just keep on reading dahil marami ka talagang maiisip na ideas habang nagbabasa and your imagination is working as well. Also try marathoning asian novelas and movies, I swear your creativity on creating situations will progress.

Anyways, graduating grade 6 student na si Dwayne while Zyren is already a 1st year college student. Hindi sapat ang kinikita ni Papa sa pagiging mekaniko kaya nag-oonline selling ako para makatulong sa mga gastusin. Even Jash, nag-aabot din ng panggastos ko.

Nahihiya nga ako eh, ano na lang ang sasabihin ng family niya sa'kin, hinuhuthutan ko siya ng pera. Gipit kasi kami ngayon saka hindi ko naman pwedeng galawin yung ipon ko for my siblings. Third year anniversary na namin ni Jash tomorrow and for the third time wala na naman akong regalo for him kasi kapos na naman ang budget ko.
