In the past, Fang Fang was not so persistent in taking science subjects. In fact, when she was a child, she was most fearful of mathematics. Thereafter, as she had been greatly affected by this gamble, Fang Fang was completely at odds with mathematics. She was bent on beating the subject. Even as she was selecting subjects in high school, she would insist on science subjects and not think of anything else.

"The original quote from the noble person?" Zheng Lingling's eyes lit up. "Are you referring to what Albert Einstein said? There is nothing wrong with this quote. I've seen this since primary school."

Although computers were only prevalent after the 2000s and every household had one, the behavior of 'screenshot' already existed from way before.
She did not know who, in order to encourage students, took a screenshot by directly snapping and posting only half of what Albert Einstein said. It might be done to encourage all the students in the world, but it also bluffed silly kids such as Fang Fang to make them happy.
"Is… is there really such a matter?"
When they heard that the full version of the noble person's famous quote that they had firmly believed in for so many years was, in fact, like this, everyone in the dormitory except for Qiao Nan was dumbfounded, not to mention Fang Fang.
The first half of the quote encouraged people to put in great effort to learn and improve, but the second half was demoralizing. Although only one percent genius was mentioned, it was also talking about congenital talent. Moreover, the famous quote expressed that talent was indeed more important than working hard.

The male student was most worried that Qiao Nan would immediately throw him another problem after he had just 'resolved' the current one. He could not possibly leave with Qiao Nan's question every time and pass the answer to Qiao Nan a week later, could he?
Hence, the male student thought of another way. "Then, Qiao Nan, a few days have passed. Have you found the answer?"
If Qiao Nan had not been able to resolve it, then he could discuss and examine it together with Qiao Nan. From no solution to having a solution. Wasn't that a good excuse?
Qiao Nan knocked the tip of her pen on the table a few times. She completely ignored those in and out of the classroom who wished to watch the fun. "Senior, judging from the look on your face, you seem to have gained something."

"Bookkeeping reminded me, everything has its assets and liabilities." A classmate of mine read out aloud. If you read the chapter in my journal : 'my odd ability'. You might be familiar with that quote of mine. "Hey so what does your quote mean?"

 "You mean what this quote means to me as the creator?" I asked for assurance.

It took him long to reply a short, "Yea."

"It's simply, exactly what it says." 

Well. If I did tell you what it really meant to me–It'll take me a long time to think how to explain it and actually explaining it. And, if you didn't understand what I'm trying to explain, it'll be pointless to explain in the first place.

After a lot of thinking, my mind is now at peace and I thing I can explain now.

There are a lot of meanings from that quote. Since I might end up overthinking again, it'll be easier to understand if I put an alternate quote according to each focusing meaning.

A week have passed and today's a work day, school day.


I'm scrolling my phone in an upward direction. You can tell that what I'm doing, reading comics. When I was in the juicy part, a fellow classmate was seeking for death. I meant he interrupted me. Good thing after I replied to him, he left me alone.  Bad thing, someone will dislike me more.


I don't have anyone who I'm close to in my class so I changed my seat, nearest to the teacher's table. So I guess my purpose for going to see school is to pay more attention to the teacher. What a diligent student I am.

Since it's just the second week, teachers aren't pressuring us. I guess that's a good thing. Bad thing? They will give us a shock in the near future.

After classes, I'm heading home. The distance from school to home is walkable but I'm hungry, I rode in a bus.

When I arrived, I found out no one is at home so I put out my spare of house keys and unlocked the door. 

Switching on the source of electricity of the house, I went to my room and threw my stuff that was saved by the floor.


The next thing I threw was myself but this time, my bed caught me. Pulling out my phone from the pocket of my uniform, I connected it to the Wifi.


After a few minutes I heard a sound from downstairs. My home has three floor levels. In the first floor level, there's a living room, dining room and a kitchen. In the second floor level, all of the bedrooms are present there. In the third floor level, a small garden. All floor levels have a comfort room.


When I was going through the stairs between the first and second floor level, I saw my mom fixing the groceries. I helped her with organizing and after that we ate dinner.


Back in my room, I start to flashback significant and insignificant things that I did for this day. Before I knew it, I passed out.

Hello, I'm the author of Nümer. I am finally happy to have at least written this story down. This story was originally going to be a Webtoon but I decided to write it down first so I can draw it better later. So once I have drawn the first 3 episodes of Nümer I'll be sure to notify you.

Somewhere in the Mitan Milky Way...
"Kuhhh... We told you! We don't know of this Thesarius you speak of!" *Cough Cough* An old Zitani Alien coughed blood as he angrily answered the crazy robot in front of him.
"The Lore Masters of Zitan don't know? Impossible... Stop lying and submit to The Great One's will!" Tynon said with his trademark majestic yet fanatic voice.
"Y-you crazy freak! You destroyed two of our solar systems! The Library's incomplete now!" The old Zitani Hierarch spouted.
"Ah!" Tynon realized.
"W-what?! D-don't "Ah!" me! The Great Library's 2 Million years worth of knowledge AND half that's lost thanks to you! This is all your fault! How do you expect us to find this "Thesarius" now!?" The Hierarch angrily shouted.
"K-Kuh! I hath let my emotions get the best of me once more!" Tynon wailed in defeat at the irrefutable logic the Zitani Hierarch gave him.
"Yes yes, you indeed let your emotions get the better of you" The Hierarch nodded to feed Tynon's guilt. [Gahahaha, I might just be able to coerce the simple-minded Tynon!]
"I HATH FAILED my master... MASTEEERRR!!!" Tynon cried out to the skies.
"Yes yes, you have indeed failed your master alright... haaa" The Hierarch once again chimed as he pretended to sigh.
"Kuuu... I guess I have no choice but to clean up now and head over to the next galaxy..." Tynon brushed off his feet, sighing as he got over his stupid impulsive actions.
"Yes yes, clean up- C-clean up???" The Hierarch thought he could manipulate the conversation because of Tynon's regret over his impulsivity in destroying their two solar systems... Sadly Tynon's idiocracy won over logic once more.
"Of course! "Never let an enemy live" One of the great teachings of Zaldros himself!" Tynon repeated the words he heard from his master... Not knowing it was one of the improvised lines in his own Anime.

"Never let an enemy live to take revenge..." Anime Tynon said in a much rougher voice than real Tynon.
"Ooohhhh!" Zaldros wailed in excitement as he watched the Tynon's Balls Z.
Later that day while Zaldros passed Tynon by a hallway he repeated the quote, thinking it was an original quote from real Tynon.
[Master's THE BESTTT~! Master's THE LEGENDDD~!] Tynon hummed in his mind, as he suddenly met Zaldros in the hallway.
"O GREAT ONE!" Tynon immediately crashed his robotic head on the stone floor.
The excited Zaldros, just finishing an episode of his favorite Tynon's Balls, patted real Tynon on the shoulders as he said:
"Never let an enemy live to get their revenge!" Zaldros thought Tynon would admire him more if he repeated his own quote to him... Not knowing it wasn't actually real Tynon's quote, but Anime Tynon's instead.
[W-what?! What enemy?! Who dares attack the master?!] Tynon misunderstood.
"A wise quote..." Zaldros solemnly added as he bounced away.
"A-A QUOTE?!" [Was the Great Master imparting me his Benevolent and Infinite Knowledge?!! Such kindness! Like a caring Father!]... Tynon's misunderstanding deepened... even though he's 300 years older than Zaldros...
After that day, the quote became Tynon's official mantra... And no person ever lived another day after making Tynon his enemy...

"W-wait a minute, Ha ha ha... Let's not get hasty now. Remember earlier? Just because of a few words here and there, two solar systems are destroyed, and now you can't get this Thesarius you've been searching. "A wise man talks, a brute fights" Ha-ha-ha a quote from Jishuka himself hahaha" The Hierarch sweated profusely.

"Hmmm, I don't think this Jishuka is as wise as my master though... " The Greatest Tactician in History's words was evaluated lower than an Anime's improvised line... Many scholars in the afterlife would be crying if they knew of this idiotic scene.

"We can find IT! We can! Just give us time!" The Hierarch begged.
"Well... I guess it can't hurt to give you some time..." Tynon pondered.
[Kukuku... One day we'll have our revenge! Kukuku] The Hierarch deviously thought.

After Tynon left a council formed by the highest-ranking Zitani had a meeting.

The Hierarch proudly stood on top of a pedestal. You would've thought he was another person from the Hierarch who was cowardly begging Tynon to spare them earlier.

"I now Declare War, on Erebos!" He majestically gestured.
"""Ohhh!""" The other elders thought the wise Hierarch had a plan as they awed in excitement.
"Secretly!" The Hierarch added.

"""Gah!""" disappointing everyone in the council.
"Ok, that's about it! Now, let's go back to rebuilding our destroyed bases... Let's see here, civilian casualties, None. Good good. Great Library backup 100%, very good. Well, I guess that's about it. Toodaloo"
[[[This spineless coward!]]] The council members all thought as they sighed.

"Oh yes! And let's put this "Thesarius" thingy on our top priorities, wouldn't want to the Great One to get angry at us now, would we?" The Hierarch smiled like a young maiden.
[[[What happened to fighting secretly?!]]] The elders sighed as the Hierarch's tone changed from blatantly dismissing some guy called "Zaldros" to calling him "The Great One" in a single day...

After all of the elders left, only one young and quite beautiful woman stayed.
"Jade! What are you still doing here?" The old Hierarch asked his daughter.
*Sigh* "I also safely evacuated our military too, no casualties were had" The daughter sighed at her father's common display of stupid cowardice.
She thanked her ancestors who turned the once war-like Zitani people into the submissive scholars they were today, abling her idiotic father to keep his position as no one was really into his position as Hierarch... The scholars would rather prefer to further their research than to fight others for "Position" and "Power"

"Ah as expected of my daughter! Good job on the civilians too" Her father smiled as if nothing was his fault.
"I told you not to be rude towards Zaldros! Especially to Tynon! He's the most loyal of the bunch!" Jade was visibly annoyed at her father's carelessness. A testament to the Zitani's lack of political rivalry and intrigue as any politician of another race would have some level of awareness against danger.

"Huh... Dad..." The girl looked at her father in disappointment.
"I will spearhead the search for this "Thesarius" Tynon was talking about... Do you know where I should start?" Jade asked.
"Hmmm... maybe somewhere in the Hyper Galactic Empire's territory?" The Hierarch guessed.

Meanwhile, somewhere in the Hyper Galactic Empire's territory...
"B-Bondre? W-Which Bondre?! I know too many people named Bondre..." Marcus sweated in denial.
Bop grinned in pure evil while Beep just stared at Bop's reaction, successfully copying his villainous grin.

[Kuh! They know! They must know! And judging from their faces, they have proof too! What do they want me to do... Do they wish to torture me? Take everything away until all that's left is my Body?!] Marcus sweated as he began to speculate the wild and crazy thoughts in going on in Bop's mind...

Meanwhile in Bop's mind...
[GAH! I said it out loud! I meant to say "You must be Bondre's close friend"! AHH! Stupid malfunction]... Bop never planned to blackmail Marcus...
Sadly, Marcus already misunderstood Bop's questionably innocent intentions.

"P-please! Let's go inside... A talk this serious can't be handled in an open area like this..." Marcus nervously said.
"Everyone, Everyone! The signing would be postponed for today, I hope you vote for me in the coming elections though and bid everyone a good farewell" Marcus dispersed the crowd as they went inside his mansion.

Bop still had a tense smile as he realized he was basically blackmailing a government official right now...
[There's no turning back!] Bop thought as he kept his forced smile while Beep followed his smile.

Seeing the creepy and consistent evil smiles of the two blackmailers in front of him, Marcus could only pray that what they'll ask from him wouldn't be something too impossible.
"What are your demands..." Marcus cut to the chase
[D-demans?!... I'm blackmailing someone right now, aren't I?! I hope I don't become a fugitive...]

Bop's long silence unnerved Marcus.
A battle of mental and psychological warfare happened as Marcus urged Bop to state his motives.

But the sudden words that came out of Beep's mouth instantly shattered Bop and Marcus' thinking.
"I want to destroy the police!" Beep said with conviction.

"What?!" Both Bop and Marcus couldn't believe what they had just heard.

Meet Bop, a humanoid clone who was tasked with being a Janitor at the Hypertrain "Zelda X8"

Why was he cloned? Why not robots clean instead, I mean they're cheaper and more efficient, right?

"You shouldn't be embarrassed by something a teacher says," Candy whines.

She's upset because we stopped making out in the halls. "I'm not we should just slow things," I said. Candy was starting to piss me off. She's taking our relationship too fast. Plus I have uncharted feelings to explore, I think. I'm super confused about these quote on quote "uncharted feelings." I'll explain later viewers.

"Here we are your house. Go home and forget about the thing with the teacher, okay?"

"Sure," she said disbelieving. Candy stomped up her stairs and then into her house.

"Whatever," I said and drove off. I had to pick up Hailey.

"How was your day, kid?" I asked as she crawled into the front seat of my Mercedes. "Don't get dirt on the seat!" I yell.

"Sorry big brother," she starts to panic, having only heard me yell when something is truly wrong.

"No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell. Everything is alright. Calm down," I coo, petting her head and hugging her tight. We sit like that for a moment. "Better now," I say quietly, not wanting to startle her.

"Yes, better now," she says as she buckles her seatbelt.

"Okay, good. I'm sorry for scaring you," I apologize, pulling out of the school. "So, how was school?"

"I don't want to talk about it," she grumbled.

"What do you want mean you don't want to? You always want to talk about your day."

"Not today."

"We'll talk when we get home then." The rest of the ride was silence. When we got home she immediately jumped out of the car and ran to door only find out locked. "You'll need these," waving the keys.

She pouted and let me carry her inside. "What's bothering," I ask after we have settled.

"Nothing, brother, it's nothing,"

"Lies. Want to know how I know? You never call me just brother unless something is really wrong. What is it?"

"Well it's these people at school," she said quietly.

"Who," I growl, " I will kill them."

"These girls in my class. They're being mean to me. They call me names and pull my hair."

"Damn, I can't hit a little girl. Did you tell your teacher or something like that."

"No, big brother."

"Why not?"

"They were going to hit me more if I did."

"Damn it, Hailey. You're supposed to tell someone."

"I did."

"You did, who?"

"You, big brother."

I'm such an idiot. I should realized that. I sigh and wipe my face with my hands. "Okay, anything else?"

"Nope."

"Good. Now go upstairs and do your homework or something. Just stay out of my room."

"Yes, big brother," she runs upstairs and going in her room.

Okay, time for those quote on quote "uncharted feelings." Remember that tall kid in my track team. Yeah, well, he's hot. There I said it. No, I'm not gay. If a guy looks good, I'll say it. But looking him makes my body tingle. I don't know what it is. And before any of you say "eww gay" I'm not. He just makes me feel...different. Yeah, that's one way to put it, different. What does this hot tall guy look like? Well, I'm glad you horny teenage girls asked. He's six foot delicious-I mean two, definitely meant two. His name is Casey, still working on getting the last name. Casey has honey amber eyes and toffee colored skin. It looks so much like it, I accidentally called him "Toffee." He has waist length chestnut brown hair and the poutiest strawberry red li- no PG thoughts. I am NOT gay. I will remind you, I do have a girlfriend. And before you say anything, I'm not bi either. I AM STRAIGHT, i think. Ignore that last part. I'm straight. Casey is muscular too, I mean almost zero percent body fat muscular. Everything is toned,  from his arms to his slim waist and hips to his shapely but- NOT GAY.  Just lost my train of thought. I don't pay that much attention to his incredibly detailed body. Nope, not at all. He's also super shy and avoids confrontation and talking with anyone. I should shower and get all bad thoughts out of my head.

~2 hours later~

I hear a sound downstairs. Is that the doorbell. Who could it be? I race down the stairs. "I'm coming. Hold on." I get to the door finally. Unlocking and opening the door I find someone shly standing on the steps.

"I need your help, please," Casey begged desperately.

Shit, I don't want to deal with the feelings now, I thought. Shit.

Ickapoo is guilty of loneliness. But false crimes will be cleared over time. Eternal justice shows more reason, fairness, than the justice of courts.
“They would be content to die if there were no other excuse why they should desire to live.”  
 Act 1, Scene 1, Lines 44-46. Leontes is the king of Sicilia. Polixenes is the king of Bohemia. These two kings have been bosom friends since childhood. Archidamus, a Bohemian courtier, has just offered glowing recommendations for Mamillius, Leontes’ only son. Camillo, a courtier to the king of Sicilia, supports the comments made by Archidamus, saying “They that went on crutches before he was born desire yet their life to see him a man.” Camillo offers this quote. All seem to believe that Mamillius is a talented young man. Continuing to fall over himself with praise for Leontes, Mamillius, and his fellow countrymen, Archidamus says “If the King had no son, they would desire to live on crutches till he had one.”
“We were two lads who thought there was no more in the future but such a day tomorrow as today, and to be boys eternal.”  
Act 1, Scene 2, Lines 79-82. Hermione is Leontes’ wife, his queen. Complimenting her husband, as usual, Hermione has been trying to get Polixenes to stay in Sicilia a week more. Polixenes has been in Sicilia for some time, visiting his long-time friend Leontes. Hermione stirs up memories of the past, saying “tell me of my lord’s tricks and yours when you were boys.” Polixenes offers this quote. But in spite of her insistence, he is determined to quickly return to Bohemia. Polixenes has business to tend to in Bohemia.
“One good deed dying not spoken of kills a thousand accompanying it. Our praises are our wages.”  
Act 1, Scene 2, Lines 118-120. Leontes praises his wife’s effort to encourage Polixenes to extend his stay in Sicilia. He says “once before you spoke to better purpose.” The two of them, happy as can be to have Polixenes there in Sicilia, banter with each other, Hermione responding to his comment, by saying “not twice; not more than twice?” She says “Cram us with praise, and make us as fat as tame things.” She then offers this quote. She asks “what was the first time I spoke to better purpose?” He says when “thou didst utter I am yours forever.There is no marital friction between them.
“I may be negligent, foolish and fearful. These are such infirmities that honesty is never free of.”  
Act 1, Scene 2, Lines 310-325. Hermione has persuaded Polixenes to stay in Sicilia for another week. But Leontes has now become jealous pf Polixenes, believing that Hermione in her persuasive efforts has been seducing Polixenes. Now convinced that Hermione and Polixenes are more than just friends, believing she has had a “too close relationship” with Polixenes, Leontes throws a tantrum at his aide, Camillo, for not seeing what Leontes now believes is her adultery. Camillo doesn’t quite know how to react to Leontes, saying this to defend himself.
“Do not weep, good friends; there is no cause. When you shall know your mistress has deserved prison, then abound in tears as I come out.”
Act 2, Scene 1, Lines 141-146.  An enraged Leontes, believing Polixenes to be the cause of Hermione’s pregnancy,imprisons Herione. Hermione maintains composure, speaking only to her ladies, asking that they attend her in prison to help her during her late stage pregnancy. 
“Often, the silence of pure innocence persuades when speaking fails.”  
Act 2, Scene 2, Lines 50-51.  Knowing the king is very upset with Hermione, imprisoning her, Paulina, one of the queen’s ladies-in-waiting, offers to tell Leontes of the birth of their daughter, hoping she can “prove honey-mouthed” and ease the friction between the two of them. Paulina says “We do not know how he may soften at the sight o’ th’ child.” Paulina offers this quote. Emilia is another lady-in-waiting. Paulina ignorant that Leontes believes Polixenes is the child’s father.
It is the heretic that makes the fire, not she who burns in ‘t.”  
Act 2, Scene 3, Lines 148-149. . Paulina has just told the king at length how much the child looks like him, saying “the print be little, the whole matter and copy of the father.” She continues to describe how much  the two look alike. Leontes will have none of it. He says “I’ll have thee burnt.” She says “I care not” and says this.

  “Some powerful spirit instruct the hawks and ravens to be thy nurses.”   Act 2, Scene 3, Lines 227-228. Leontes has just commanded Antigonus, another of the king’s courtiers, to take the child to some remote desert out-back in Bohemia and to desert the baby there. Antigonus, having agreed to do anything to save the child from being burned, agrees to the command. He picks up the child and offers this prayer.
If powers divine behold our human actions, as they do, I doubt not then but innocence shall make false accusation blush and tyranny tremble at suffering endured with calmness.”  
Act 3, Scene 2, Lines 29-33. Hermione to the Court. The court’s indictment has read that she committed adultery with Polixenes and conspired with Camillo to take away the life of her husband, Leontes. Leontes has been unjustly cruel Hermione was calm as she listened to the accusations. The queen offers this speech soon after the judgement.
O thou tyrant, do not repent these things, for they are weightier than all thy woes can stir.”  
: Act 3, Scene 2, Lines 228-230. Hermione dropped unconscious when the Court was told that Mamillius had died. She was carried out of the courtroom. Paulina followed her out. Leontes apologized to the court. Paulina re-enters and cries out truth-as-it-is to the court. She says “But the last woe, O lords, the Queen’s dead.” She then offers this quote to the court and to Leontes, going on to say to the king “A thousand supplicants for ten thousand years could not move the gods to look that way thou wert.”
“What’s gone and what’s past should be past grief.”  
 Act 3, Scene 2, Lines 246-247. Paulina to the Lords. As we say, Paulina has reported to Leontes and to the court that Hermione is dead. Paulina continues to chastise Leontes. A lord asks her to “Say no more.” She says “I do repent.” She says this to the court.
“I cannot forget how I destroyed the sweet’st companion that e’er man bred his hopes out of.”  
Act 5, Scene 1, Lines 12-13. Perhaps twenty years have now passed since Leontes’ wife Hermione collapsed and he was told she had died. At that same time he had learned that their son Mamillius had also died. It was then that Leontes, furious, had demanded that their baby girl Perdita be taken to the Bohemian out-back and left there. He continues to suffer from remorse over his willful orders.
Dear queen, who ended when I but began, give me that hand of yours to kiss.”  
Act 5, Scene3, Lines 53-54.Paulina has led the royal family into the gallery to view the statue of the queen, all standing in honor and wonder at the statue as Paulina draws back the curtain. Perdita kneels and then talks to the statue, offering this quote. Paulina calls Perdita back, saying “O patience! The color’s not dry
When she was young, you wooed her; now in age is she become the suitor?”  Act 5, Scene 3, Lines 134-135. Paulina to Leontes. Paulina has just asked Hermione, standing in the gallery as a statue, to descend. She does. For the moment, all are in shock and awe. Leontes then says “O, she’s warm! If this be magic, let it be art.” Paulina offers this quote.
“You gods, from your sacred vials pour your graces upon my daughter’s head.”  
  Act 5, Scene 3, Lines 153-155.  Having appeared to be a statue, Hermione now has descended from a platform and embraced her husband. Paulina introduces her to her daughter. As we now know, Hermione hadn’t seen her daughter since the day she was born, some sixteen to twenty years ago. The queen offers this quote.
Hermione represents a Christ figure who is crucified by the jealous, irrational and sinful man Leontes, to be resurrected 16 years later after Leontes repents of his jealousy, irrationality, selfishness and egocentrism. His sin was disbelieving the goodness and fidelity of Hermione, much like unbelievers crucified Christ and refused to believe he was their savior and Messiah. At her resurrection, Leontes comes to see how foolish he was all this while, much like the persecutors of Christ repent at his resurrection when they realize they had wrongly accused Christ and he is indeed the good and rightful Messiah of the world. The vindication of the innocent Hermione parallels the vindication of the innocent Christ who was wrongly accused and crucified for no crime of his own. The play thus testified to the vindication of the righteous over the course of time. Time will reveal the innocence of the wrongly accused, just as Hermione is vindicated at her resurrection Christ will reveal his true innocence and status as the true Messiah when he returns in final glory at the second coming. 




It was the year 2046. In the distant and faraway planet or Yr lived a lonely alien named Ickapoo. It had no friends as all its species had been vanquished from a meteor storm. In its solitude and misery it pined for a companion.
Yr was a bare and inhospitable planet. With winds blowing at 150 km an hour, it was virtually impossible to see past the blizzard and storm. Ickapoo yearned for friends and company. Many a time he fiddled with his transistor radio, sending out messages and hoping for a response. He sent fire launchers and rockets into space, hoping that some space traveler would find out about his existence. Ickapoo was an alienated alien. In the same way humans wondered whether we were the only species to inhabit the universe, Ickapoo felt estranged and isolated from the rest of the cosmos.
