I really like her. I probably look like a creep, staring at her with unwavering eyes, but I can't help it. I still remember the day I first saw her. Carlos and I decided to go to the same high school. It was our first day. We were nervous as any new kid would be, but we knew that we would have each other's backs no matter what. I think she was probably the first person I laid my eyes on as soon as I entered the school building. And let's just say that I was captivated by her beauty. There's a term for phenomena like this--love at first sight, but that's taking it too far. I don't love her yet. I just like her. A lot. I might end up falling in love with her in the future if things go right. What is love anyway? Might need to pester Carlos with some deep questions. 
The school fountain is probably the most popular area among all the students. You can make out, break up, study and most importantly sketch there, which is what I do--the sketching I mean. If there is anything else I love besides my family and friends, it's art. I admire the way we can express our thoughts through art without anyone knowing what we are feeling. It's like a diary entry but more colourful. I think it's something about the fact that the fountain is magnificent which gets the creative juices flowing. Everywhere you look, there are lots of flowers, tiny toads, sparkly water gushing from the fountainhead and students enjoying their break time. I skedaddle my way through the people to see Carlos sitting under the shade of the white oak tree. He makes the 'I have hot tea' face as I sit down beside him. This is going to be interesting.
"Did you hear ?"
"What?"
"Geneva likes gay boys."
"I am sorry but WHAT! I am so confused. Explain"
"The phrasing came out wrong. Chill. I meant that I overheard her saying that she wants a gay friend. Something about how she loves the gay best friend in the movies and hopes to get one someday."
"I don't blame her. Gay best friends are pretty much worth it."
"Aww, that is so sweet."
"Oh right, I forgot you were gay"
" Shut up!"
"I was just joking. You know I love you man."

"Yes, the show is called F.R.I.E.N.D.S. It's seriously not that hard to remember the name, Carlos. It's literally one of the most popular shows of all time."
"Yes yes, you have said that millions of times. I get it. It's not my fault I like to spend all of my memory on The Office."
"At least I watched The Office for you."
"How long are you going to crib about that? I will watch F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Chill out. I can't take so much pressure."
"When will you watch it ?"
"Um, why do you want to know? I will watch it when I want to."
"Rude. I want to know because we can watch it together then."
"You wanna watch the show again?"
"Carlos, I have watched F.R.I.E.N.D.S at least 15 times. It won't hurt to watch it for the 16th time. Besides, you have watched The Office many times too."
"Forgive me, your highness. How's tomorrow?
"Perfect"
"You are so girly."
"Carlos!"
"I am sorry, you are so feminine."
"It is not even funny at this point."
"Then why are you grinning?"
It's funny to think about how you start with one topic and end up with another. It's even funnier to think about it when it happens every single time you and your best friend talk. That's my relationship with Carlos in one line. Even though our conversation consists of various ranges of topics, there are some things said which I am not able to forget. Even if they were said in good taste. Presently, I can't stop thinking about two things said during our last conversation. Does Geneva really think that I am gay? What about me made both her and Carlos call me 'stereotypically gay'? Is it the way I walk? Or the way I talk? I mean, if she does think that I am 'stereotypically gay', how am I supposed to shoot my shot? This is tearing me apart. I support the lgbt+ community, but I am not one of them. I don't want to be perceived as gay. Not because I find it offensive, but because I feel comfortable with my identity and sexuality as a straight guy. I get that I have a tad bit of a feminine personality, but that doesn't turn me into a gay person. It is disrespectful to everyone. Maybe I am overreacting a little bit. It's not like she stated that I was gay. She asked. That makes a difference, right? And Carlos is gay himself. It's just a little joke to him, which it is. I need to stop overthinking everything. Wait, I didn't even ask Carlos about what he said to her. I hope he clarified that I am indeed straight. Oh, no. What if he just went along with it? He would definitely do that just for the fun of it. Carlos better watch out tomorrow.

"Masih ada sayang tapi di kampung- kampung."

"Kayaknya aku yang dipelet sama kamu. Sampai aku klepek-klepek dan nggak mau pisah sama kamu." Bara tersenyum nakal seraya menyuapkan bakso ke mulut Dila.

"Enak."

"Enak." Dila mengacungkan jempol.

"Pasti enak dong sayang. Aku membakarnya pakai cinta….. ea…. ea." Bara menggombali Dila.

"Sejak kapan sih suami aku gombal banget."

"Sejak negara api menyerang," jawab Bara asal.

Tiba-tiba saja hujan turun. Semua yang ada di taman berlarian ke dalam rumah. Sementara itu para ART membereskan tempat pesta. Membawa makanan ke dalam agar tak kehujanan.

"Ya Tuhan hujan." Defri mengelap tangannya yang basah.

"Hujan itu berkah. Rahmat untuk seluruh makhluk bumi, besan. Suara air hujan sebagai salah satu dari suara alam diyakini banyak pakar teknologi pikiran dapat mempengaruhi gelombang otak. Irama air hujan diyakini dapat merangsang otak menuju gelombang alfa," balas Herman tertawa cekikikan.

"Iya sih, tapi pesta Bara dan Dila belum usai."

"Masih bisa makan-makan di dalam."

"Yuk besan kita kumpul di ruang tengah." Defri mengajak Herman ke dalam.


Semua anggota keluarga duduk di ruang tengah. Para ART telah membawa semua makanan ke dalam. Mereka menghidangkannya di atas meja. Ada sate daging, bakso bakar, kue beras putih, puding regal dan nasi bakar.

"Berhubung hujan mari kita pesta di dalam saja. Hujan adalah berkah dan rahmat yang diturunkan Tuhan untuk kita. Semoga dengan diturunkannya hujan memberikan rahmat dan berkat untuk Bara dan Dila. Semoga kalian panjang umur, sehat selalu. Keluarga kalian langgeng sampai maut memisahkan. Cepat diberi momongan." Defri mendoakan anak dan menantunya.

"Contohnya nggak jauh-jauh kalian. Bisa tuh niru kisah cintanya besannya ayah. Om Herman. Cinta sejatinya Ibu Ranti. Mereka bersama hingga maut memisahkan. Om Herman bahkan masih sendiri tidak bisa melupakan ibu Ranti. Semoga Ibu Ranti tenang di rumahnya yang baru. Kita saling mendoakan. Semoga keluarga kita rukun, tidak ada perpecahan dan hidup damai."

"Amin….." Semuanya mengamini ucapan Defri.

Suasana sangat hangat dan menyenangkan. Sejenak Iqbal merasa tertampar mendengar ucapan Defri. Ia menoleh pada Ria yang sedang menyibukkan diri dengan Aina. Selama beberapa bulan ini selalu diabaikannya. Rasa bersalah menghinggapi relung hati Iqbal.

"Ayok kita makan." Defri mengajak semuanya untuk makan.

Semua menyantap makanannya. Mereka memuji masakan yang sangat enak dan membuat mereka nambah. Selama makan tak ada yang bersuara karena Defri sudah menerapkan sejak dulu pada keluarganya, jika makan tidak boleh mengeluarkan suara atau bicara.

Jackson doesn't let her go, which pissed us off. "Get your hands off our girl! NOW!", we say while growling. He lets her go out of fear while he and Malcolm run off, Faye come in front of me, making sure that our eyes were on her before she got on her tippy toes and kissed us. Before she could fully go down, we kissed her hard but passionately; she also kissed us back with the same amount of passion. Someone pulled us apart, and we just lost it; "Give us our mate back!", we say, growling. We try to calm down, but all we can smell is Jackson's scent all over what's ours. We see her come in front of us and she softly smiles- ⁑"Love, I'm safe.", she says.⁑
⁑"We know but it's just hard when Jackson's scent is all over you.", we say slightly growling.⁑
⁑"So, why don't you put your scent on me?", she asks.⁑
I blush before asking, ⁑"You want me to do that?"⁑
She just nods her head and I pull her into my chest while I'm rubbing my scent all over her- she softly giggles. The bell rings, so we all head off towards the arty side of the school. I think I have art with two people- anyway we make it to my art class where Jay and Valentina are in as well; they say goodbye and off they went. I see our art teacher, no idea what's his name; "Alright, class, before we start is there someone named Kevin Moon here?", the teach asks.
I raised my hand, and he nodded his head before saying, "Mr. Colon needs you in the theater room."
I leave and I follow my mate's scent, hoping I would find the theater room; I make it. As I walk in I see a teacher on the stage with a couple of other boys- side glancing I see Shay, Sky, Cam, and my beautiful mate.
⁑"What are you doing here?", she asks me.⁑
⁑"My art teacher said they needed me in the theater room which I didn't know where it was so I just hope your scent would lead me to it and it did.", I say.⁑

"Awe, is the gay's friend sticking up for him?", Shay asks.
"How can anyone love him?", Sky asks no one in particular.
This leads me to say, "I do, just not in that way."
The girls look at him before saying, "Baby, your too ki-"
"He isn't your baby, bitch so don't call him that.", Faye snaps.
Smiling softly before turning my attention toward their teacher, but out of the corner of my eye, I see my flaming mate, her eyes slightly darker than she's trying to hold her wolf's back. ⁑"Love, you need to calm down.", I tell her.⁑
⁑"I know that. Those two girls need to get it through their heads, that you're not theirs.", she says growling.⁑
⁑"I know love, but you need to calm down before Alina takes control.", I tell her.⁑
She doesn't answer back but I can see that she calmed down a lot, but you can still tell that Alina is borderline- "Alright, we'll be doing Romeo and Juliet. Now, I know this may seem weird but I guarantee that this will be wonderful.", the teache says.
Cam raises his hand, and the guy calls on him- "So how do we know who we're playing as and how is it going to be wonderful when half of us fell asleep watching the play?", Cam asks.
"That's easy, we're putting supernatural into Romeo and Juliet. The way to figure out who you're playing you will audition for that part. The boys here will also help as well. Juliet's family are werewolves while Romeo's family are vampdragons.", he then says, "Understand this, I based it on Romeo and Juliet but has a modern twist to it, as in you guys won't have to speak in old English. "
I see Faye's and Cam's eyes go wide before going back to size- ⁑"We need to make sure we're Romeo.", Zaff says.⁑
⁑"Why?", Dikais asks.⁑
⁑"Because they wouldn't believe that, we're actually those species.", Zaff states.⁑
⁑"Wow, for once you've actually said something smart.", I say while a smirk.⁑
⁑"How do we get to be Romeo?", I ask.⁑
⁑"Well… That's a good ques-"⁑
"Kevin, I need you to be Romeo. Girls, lineup so we can see who's the best Juliet.", their teache says.
Everyone lines up but Faye; I was going to mind link her, but the look in her eye says that she's afraid. Glancing at Cam to see them having a conversation, so I focused back on their teacher. "My students, you will need to do some research on each character in the play and then see what student would play well for each role while everyone auditions for whoever they want to playas."
The entire class says nothing but quickly gets to work.; I can see Cam and Faye talking among themselves as they see who would fit where in the play. Most of the students are working alone besides Shay and Sky, that is- I decided to listen in on Shay's conversation.
"So who's going to be Juliet?", Shay asks.
"It should be me.", Sky says.
"No, it should be me!", Shay exclaims.
"No!"
"Yes!"
I quite listening in since they're just going to argue; moving my attention towards my mate- "So, who's going to be Romeo's cousin?", Faye asks.
"Mmm… No one really know's Kevin that well but at least can hold an actual conversation with him, so either you or me, to be honest with you.", Cam says while explaining.

Werewolves were always told that they could never be mates with a vampdragon; there was never a real problem until Faye, the beta of Howlers pack, found her mate who happened to be a vampdragon. Vampdragons have kings and queens so when Kevin overhears a witch and his mother about how he wouldn't be happy with his mate; he takes off, after a while he senses someone coming near the waterfall that he was laying in. He lets out a roar which doesn't scare them so he comes flying out which then he notices his mate; he was happy then he wasn't because od the wotch so he woshrd her a happy birthday and flew off.

After the memorable festival, today is the day the twins leave their home. 
Catherine cried out, "I'm gonna miss you, my babies." 
Max and Leslie hugged her, promising her that they will come back to visit her, promising her that it is not a goodbye. After that, the twins entered the bus and took off. During the drive, Max puts on his earphones and then listen to the song 'Quite Miss Home' by James Arthur. When the song ends, he started to cry silently. Leslie notices him, crying. She went next to him and hugged Max.
The light went dark. Max and Leslie woke up, noticing that they are in a tunnel. Leslie's phone began to ring. Leslie answered it and it was the voice of Zack. 
"Leslie, hey." 
"Zack? Why're you calling me?"
"Well, I just wanna tell you that you and Max are going to the exact academy I'm in", Zack spatted.
Max took Leslie's phone and said what, shockingly.
The light went back up, they are out of the tunnel, because they had arrive. I had arrive to GoldenWing Academy. The academy looked so advance comparing to a regular school, because it is very expensive to go. Zack ran up to Leslie as soon as the twins got out of the bus and began to hug her and Max. 
"Bro, that's gay", Max said.
 Zack laughed and showed them the rest of the gang. 
"Wait, you all got sent here?", Leslie asked.
"Well, yup. But we won't be in the same classroom like our old school", Snow replied
Leslie sighed and then she said, "This is going to be different, you guys."
In the art class, which art was the first subject for Max, second subject for Zack and third subject for Coal the teacher, Ms. Kelly, introduced herself to the class. Her looks is so seductive, like as if she's from an anime or an adult movie. All the boys, except for Max, which he's not turned on from her, Zack, because he's gay, and Coal, who only focus on his objective. 
Max was painting a woman with white hair and a black dress. Ms. Kelly went up to him, admiring Max's artistic skills: Smudging, Watercolor and a signature. 
"This looks beautiful. Where did you get such imagination, mister Kennedy?", she asked Max.
"It wasn't my imagination. It was from my dream."
"You hear that, students? Dreams is art, also. Meaningful. Beautiful", Ms. Kelly said.
Max was applauded by the class.

Humans and the supernatural co-existed with each other. Max Kennedy is a student at an academy, along with his twin sister and his childhood friends, who are also supernatural.

I was out of the principals office. I didn't even get the chance to grab my clothes. If I only had a chest binder, things wouldn't have been so bad. But now I was a flabby nerd. Worst part was the getup even came with glasses. At this point, I was unrecognizable. 

I went down the staircase to find the dorm rooms. Much to my displeasure and shock, Principal Goodwin already prepared my room and filled it with all the necessary clothes and some female products.

I rushed through the areas to try and find the bathroom before I had to really meet anyone. It'd be best to figure out my bathroom situation before I really need to go. However, I was sent flying backwards. I let out a string of curses as I stood up, thinking I ran into a pole or something.

A petite, brown haired boy sat on the ground, furiously picking up fallen papers. His face was completely flushed. Out of pure instinct, I bent down and helped him with his papers. I peeked at one and saw a skillfully sketched photo of a guy. He looked so simple, and yet, so life like.

"Wow,," I covered my mouth, but the sound already escaped my lips. He looked up, and quickly grabbed the paper. I deepened my voice a tiny bit. "Sorry. I just thought these were really good." We finished picking up his art pieces and stood up.

"Th-thank you." He paused, and took a good look at my face. "Have I seen you before?"

"No. I'm new. Oh, I'm Kato." I held out my hand for him. He peered timidly at the outstretched arm, and finally shook my hand. 

"I'm Theodore. My friends call me Theo. At least they would if I had any."

"Nice to meet ya, Theo." I winked at me, and he stared back at me, completely lost.

"A-are you sure you want to be friends with me? I mean, I'm probably not the best company to have." He glanced out the window nervously, as if he were waiting for someone to break in.

"I don't see a problem with having a friend like you. You seem like a nice guy."

"Hah, r-really? Most guys here don't even associate themselves with me because I'm..." and he mumbled a bit.

"I'm sorry, can you repeat that? You kinda mumbled."

"Oh, I did? Hah, s-sorry! I'm, uh," I saw him swallow hard. 

"If you don't feel comfortable telling me, yet, I'm totally ok with it." I had a feeling I knew exactly where this was going.

I was about done with this guy. I wanted to sock him in the face and stick my foot where it don't belong. 

"S-stop it, Justin," Theo spoke out. He probably saw my trembling and mistook it for fear.

"We'll leave," I whispered, pulling my puppy's paw and running off. I heard laughter and taunts behind us, but I ignored it. "Thank you," I said once the coast was clear. 

"It's ok. Now you're an outcast, like me. I'm sorry."

"It's ok. All I have to do is blend in. How hard could that be?"
