The story of fruitbasket told from the prespective of one of the zodiac member, more specific the story of the tiger. Not not Kisa. This is the story of y/n, the zodiac of the tiger, who grew up in the Sohma household. 

She wasn't like the rest of the zodiac, she was diffrent. She wasn't tlakative, she didn't talk. She stopped talking. She hasn't talked for years. There was somehting diffrent about her..Something very diffrent.

A man that is born for the third time in a 'Manga world' along with her adopted daughter(which is actually an alien Btw)

When Ashito woke up he was in some kind of cart surrounded by other boxes with fruits and vegetables.
 I wonder where we're going? By all these boxes with vegetables and fruits I'd bet we're going to some sort of market. Ashito thought as he looked around. Well I guess I can't really do anything, but watch since I'm a potato. 
And that's what Ashito did. As the cart continued moving Ashito looked at what they were passing by. At first they were going through the forest. This guy must live in a place surrounded by a forest or something like that. Ashido thought as the cart went through the forest. When they exited the forest and went into the clearing, far away Ashido could see mountains and birds playfully flying around. It was a beautiful sight. After a while of mountains and trees the cart finally entered the city. As Ashito looked around he thought I've…  never seen this place before… It looks… medieval. Like a world where people from a manga would be teleported to. Wait… Is this... another world… that I've been reincarnated into… as a… potato? That's impossible, right? Right? But Ashito couldn't do anything. In the end he was a potato.
Shortly they arrived at the market, which was filled with people. Ashito had his suspicions, but what proved that he was in another world, were the human like, but animal people. And it wasn't just animals. Elfs, half-orcs, lizard people, goblins, dwarfs and gnomes filled the street. This is insane! Ashito thought.
After going through the crowded street of the market they stopped and the old man started unloady his fruits and vegetables onto a wooden food stand. After unloading apples, cucumbers, strawberries and carrots the old man took the box of potatoes Along with Ashito and placed it in the stand.
So I'm gonna be sold like some common vegetable, huh. I mean I am a common vegetable, but still! Ashito thought.
Soon many people came to the stand. It seemed the old man knew a lot of the customers and was quite popular and well known amongst the townspeople.
After a while of other potatoes being chosen, a middle aged lady the old man called "Ms. Ena" took Potato Ashito and put him in a basket. She placed him face down, so Ashito could not see what was happening. Ashito could hear her talking to other people as she continued talking anc could hear her putting other items in her basket. After a while Ashito could hear her walking away from the crowd, which meant she was heading home.

Ashito Hagiwara is just an ordinary high school student. That is until he dies and is reincarnated as a... Potato! But as he soon finds out he's not just a potato. He's a magic potato.

I will not be writing on days I can not come up with a continuing of the story as I do not want the novel to become rushed and feel incomplete.

Chapter 9

–General Pov–


[Time-skip 1.5 years| Mc's age 5.5]


On the eastern side of the Shandia village, Amon came out from a tent slightly bigger than the normal ones.


Soon, a short and fat man also came out of the tent, just behind Amon. He had a pretty heavy looking basket covered with a curtain in his hands too. 


"Hey, Amon. Err… Do me a favor and give this to Isa… alright?" The fat guy, Bob asked.


Amon responded with a fake playful smile. "Oh? What is this? Is this what the adults call love? You are even giving your own food for Isa, now?"


Bob blushed hearing him and scratched his head. "Hehe… wait no! You are just a kid, you aren't supposed to ask something like that! And, no I'm not giving her all my food… You see, I got a bonus this month from the chief. I exchanged some goodies with that, so I thought… Why not share it with, Isa?"


Amon took the basket from his hands, and said, "Alright, I'll give it to her. Maybe… I can even say a few good words to her about you. Hmm…? Should I?"


Bob's eyes grew for a second as he replied quickly, "H-huh? Really? Then I'll give you my special shooters-wait, no! It's not that I want you to do something for-"


Amon interrupted him, as he said, "Hey, hey, calm down. A little help won't do any bad. You see, everything is fair in love and war!" Amon showed off his biceps as he said this. Then he prepared to walk away. "Anyway, I'll be going now. See you."


Saying this, he started to walk towards the Western part of the village, where his and Isa's house is located.

After a few minutes of walking, Amon reached his house. He sneakily went inside, evading people using his [Observation Haki]. After that, he sat down on his bed.


Using Observation Haki at full capacity, Amon confirmed that there wasn't anyone around here. Then, he slowly removed the curtain from the basket, as his eyes shined. "Damn… look at this. It's fresh carrots and apples... What did he exchange to get this?..."


By food, Shandian people only knew sea-foods, since even though there are a few trees inside their 'dome', fruits grow on those trees rarely. The only ways to get fruits are raiders retrieving them from pirate ships or the Upper-yard.


Since the village doesn't have any currency, they live by exchanging goods for other goods. Like ancient times in Amon's previous world. 


Amon chuckled like a child seeing the fruits in front of him. "What a simp lord… he must have exchanged some good dials…. That's a big waste. I had my eyes out for a few of his special dials... But," Amon picked an apple from the lunch-box. "It's not that bad, after all, something good happened to me for his stupid action. These fruits…full of nutrition…these are mine now."


Amon then started to eat the fruits. As soon as the fruits in the basket started to dwindle.


As he kept doing just that until only 2/10 of the original fruits were left.


Waiting for a few minutes, Amon got up from his seat, and walked out of the hut with the curtain covered basket, going towards Isa's tent just beside his house.


After turning right after leaving his hut, Amon faced a tent, slightly bigger than Bob's tent. Amon after confirming Isa's presence with [Observation Haki] went inside.


Noticing the small figure entering her tent, Isa who was sitting on the bed, looked towards him. Seeing Amon she smiled kindly, as she said. "Why are you here? Anything I can help with?"


Amon just went towards her and also sat down on the bed. He placed the basket on the bed as he looked at Isa. "It feels good to be beautiful right? Always receiving gifts from the other tribesmen." Amon said with the fake tone of tease in it.


"My, my? Are you jealous? Unfortunately, you aren't a girl! Or I'm sure with your face, many boys would have been after you already." She then looked at the basket beside her. "Anyway, who is it this time? And what's inside?"


"It was Bob. He is nice enough to give you these lots of fruits…" Amon said, pointing at the basket.



Isa's blinked in surprise. 'Fruits? That's rare.' She thought as she picked up the basket, it was not that heavy but from the weight, she could tell there were quite a few left. She took off the cover from the basket and became surprised again. "Mmm… that's quite a lot."


Amon glanced from the side as if he's holding himself back from not eating those. Isa noticed this and smiled lightly, 'He trains too much for a kid, however that look… he is a kid after all. Hehe.' Unfortunately for Isa, this was all an act. Amon has already adapted to acting like a kid, so doing these small acts to trick the adults is nothing new to him.


Isa hid the basket behind her, as she looked at Amon. "What are you looking at? Those are mine." 


Amon pretended to be unhappy as he frowned, getting up from the bed preparing to leave. "What? I never wanted those anyway. I'll go now! BYE!" 


Acting grumpy, Amon prepared to leave. But suddenly, Isa caught him from behind and picked him up in her embrace. "Hahaha! Look at you. I was joking. I won't be able to get sleep at night if you go away like this…" Isa wiped her imaginary tears saying this.


Amon didn't say anything, as Isa lowered him on the ground. She then went towards the basket and took half of the fruit from it. Placing them in a small bag, she came towards Amon. "Here, take this. Eat all you want. Ah, don't forget to share them with Raki. I won't share any more of mine~"


Amon smiled receiving the fruits, he then jumped up and kissed Isa's cheeks. Soon, he ran out of the tent towards his hut.


Isa sighed with a happy smile as she saw him walk away. 'He is such an innocent child.'


Unfortunately for her, this was all for his nutrition.

[A few hours later|Night Time]


Amon was sitting in his room on top of his bed in a lotus position, similar to those cultivators from wuxia novels. 


Seated like that Amon was breathing rhythmically. His body was comfortable, he wasn't even moving an inch. If anyone saw him now, they would assume he has fallen asleep.


He soon opened his eyes, proving that he wasn't sleeping. His red eyes seemingly gleamed for a second, as he suddenly frowned hard.


He rendered his strength and let it surge throughout his whole body. Amon held his breath as his muscles tightened slowly. Soon, he bulked up to almost 2x of his actual body size.


Amon then tried to circulate his strength to his back, the unmovable part of his body, his wings!


[Seimei Kikan](Life Return)


He was trying to use Seimei Kikan, a technique that can supposedly let one control their whole body functions by their will.


"Bah!" 


However, the next moment he spat some saliva and fell on the cloud-floor face first, creating a *thud* sound.


Now, unlike his calm demeanor a second ago, he was sweating profusely while huffing a lot.


"Huff… dammit, why doesn't it work!"


Amon was trying to perform [Seimei Kikan] the technique that allows the user to control all of their bodily functions. Amon knew if he were able to learn this technique, he should be able to move his wings. 


He wasn't sure if he would succeed at this, since not much was explained about Seimei Kikan in anime/manga. And for someone like Amon whose complete knowledge comes from the show, he didn't have enough points to work on.


Also, due to the fact that this technique didn't have many users, the only shown users being Rob Lucci and Kumadori, Amon's chance for mastering this technique would be  even lower.


However, those thoughts were getting him nowhere. He thought after getting nutrition from the fresh fruits, he might succeed. However, it seems all that nutrition has gone to waste.


Amon felt disheartened for a while, but he soon got out of it. 


After regaining his composure, Amon sat up and sighed. 'Seimei Kikan… If I succeed, I will definitely be able to move my wings, but it's very hard. When I was 7 months old, after filling my tummy, I tried to practice Seimei Kikan and digest the food… But, not only did I fail, I almost died choking on my own vomit.'


Amon let his thoughts wander as he rested for a while. 'Only now, after 5 years,  I have enough courage to try this shit again. But no matter how hard I try, nothing seems to be working…. I recall it had something to do with being a hermit… but that's not completely true as Rob Lucci was able to perform that technique. I'm sure someone like him isn't a hermit!... But, if I fail to do this, it's not like there aren't any other ways…' Amon thought as he remembered Chopper's words when he first saw Seimei Kikan in action.


Amon then continued his thoughts, 'According to Chopper, a technique named [Bio Feedback] exists, which is very similar to Seimei Kikan… So, for now, I will keep training on Seimei Kikan, but if I don't progress even a little after a few months, I won't waste my time on this thing anymore.'


Amon then sighed and closed his eyes.


A few minutes passed like that, as Amon released a long breath and got up from his lying position.


He stood up while stretching. As he said, "Well, time to sleep. I'm tired."


After gurgling his mouth with water, Amon walked to his bed. He also checked the surrounding area with [Observation Haki] sleeping. You are never TOO careful.

Staring at the screen, Koby's excitement was at its peak. Suzaku could keep on getting stronger!
After doing all the scans, Koby dismissed the pokéfriends. Grovyle and the others returned to his Pokéballs except for Infernape and Riolu. then he went to the crow's nest since he was the watcher for today. the 2 are now roaming around the ship.
A moment later, Koby was bored. he kept on thinking about what to do to have fun. and so, He remembers his bike. He fished it out from his bag, forever in his back, and his R-phone beeped.
-Trainer... The bike is also upgraded... It is now called the Rotom bike... It also has another mode which is the water mode.-
Koby immediately drops from the crow's nest and went to his Nakama. Luffy and the others could be seen fishing using his Super rods.
"Hey hey! Guys! I have something I wanted to show you all. well? wanna see it?" (Koby)
"... What is it?" (Chopper)
"Is it fun Koby?! Hurry it up!" (Luffy)
And Koby showed them the newly upgraded Rotom bike.
"Watch this, You're so gonna have fun with this."
Koby first unequipped all his equipment and put it into his back and gave it to Usopp for safekeeping. He now only has his jacket of orange and he changed into swimwear shorts. He also bought cool glasses and goggles when they were still in Alabasta since he may use them together with his wise glass.
Using the cool glasses as sunglasses Koby jumped into the water. The onlookers just thought that Koby wanted to swim, And they were wrong! The bike magically had some ballon wheels at its side and floated.
Koby's bike didn't submerge in the water. and the pink-haired boy waves to the others on the ship and started pedaling his bike. Infernape and Riolu stared at their Trainer having fun.
Luffy was already jumping around and was waiting for his turn. Koby had always been fun for him, He remembered that Koby was the first one he saw on his journey to be the King of the Pirates.
Shortly after, Koby returned and switch with Luffy who was eager to use the Rotom bike. Seeing his captain chasing a Magikarp, He was truly amused by this. Chopper was already waiting for his turn.
The others had also come to see what's the noise is all about.
"Hey Usopp, Let's talk." (Koby)
(Huh?? Did I do something?) (Usopp)
Koby called for Usopp and then the two were in the storage room.
"W-what do you want to talk about Koby? If it's advice you're looking for, Then you have asked the right person! So, what is it?" (Usopp)
At first, Usopp was nervous since Koby was serious, But he got comfortable at the end due to self hypnotizing.
"Yeah, How can I get better to draw this?" (Koby)
There was a drawing Usopp could see that was like a scribble of a 5-year-old child. Koby had thought that it was easy to draw a manga for his Pokémon manga. And he got crushed by reality, hence he went to Usopp who can do anything.
This made Usopp really active and helped Koby, And when he learned how good Usopp was. He took out a Contract, Koby said 'this is a secret' and the two negotiated.
Koby wanted Usopp to be his Artist while he would copy the story of the Pokémon since there's no Pokémon Company here in One piece world. Usopp agreed when he learned that maybe this would bring cash for them. Koby had already planned to sponsor their crew if it blows up.
Of course, as a pirate, they can't use their names or else their work would be confiscated or even canceled. So they thought of their pen names, A moment later. Koby's pen name would be 'Hiiro' while Usopp would be 'Artoking' and so, The two started their very first manuscript.
During that time, No one had disturbed them because the others are still distracted by the Rotom bike. while they were still immersed in making their manga, his R-phone beeped.
-Incoming call... Incoming call... Signal detected from the Xtranceiver...-
This made Koby perked up and answered the call. Koza's face showed up and looked awkward since he was dealing with high-tech technology.
"Uh... is this on? can you see me?.." (Koza)
"Ah.. Yes, I can see you Koza-san. So, is everything good there?" (Koby)
After the pleasantries, the two started their discussion and meeting.
"We are ready for the printing process Koby, We just need the story, Also we had done what you told us to exchange the games in the casino into an arcade that focuses on our market." (Koza)
"Nice timing Koza-san, We just started our Manga and on our 5th chapter already."
Koza got confused and asked him 'We'.
"... Sorry for boasting that I can make the Manga, It turns out that I don't have a talent for drawing Koza-san, Luckily Usopp is with me. anyways, Let Coo come here and you can start spreading rumors about a comic that is on par with Sora, the warrior of the sea." (Koby)
After a few minutes of talking, The two on the call were ready to take the island of Alabasta into a storm, and soon, The whole world would know about Pokémons.
"Oh... That's right, Koza-san should dig around the Underworld since you're the ex-rebel army leader. You know it already right? Please... and also boost up our Military power. Once Coo will return there... There will be a surprise heeheehee." (Koby)
Koby finalized his plans, This type of move needs time. And Koby returned back to Usopp and the two continued on until it was nighttime and before dinner.
That was what Koby and Usopp did while also having fun with Luffy and Chopper for the next days of their journey.

It was a fine day for our crew, perfect for exploration.
The ship, Going Merry, is anchored close to the beach of a small island. The crewmember had already separated their task.
Chopper and Robin were in charge of guarding the ship, The men are tasked by Koby to pick up fruits that Sanji identified as Non-perishable fruits. Koby also looked for the fruits and exploring the island, This small island was not their initial destination. they somehow discover this island while sailing.
This made Nami so excited, She was gathering all her measuring tools. She was guarded by Sanji who's keep on flirting with her. And started working on her dreams, to make the world map.
Koby is in deep thought while he gathers food and finds some animals to record in his journal. Like the monkeys that Luffy encountered here, He took a lot of photos and did some studies about the monkeys.
(I wonder when will Koza-san contact me, It's been a few days since Coo left with the manuscripts. I hope nothing goes wrong.) (Koby)
Koby's thinking paused when Riolu tapped his leg. Looking down, the pokémon also has a basket full of fruits. he patted Riolu and went back to their ship to deposit their basket.
"Good job buddy, Let's go back." (Koby)
The duo walked back together while enjoying the surroundings. Koby felt with his [Aura] that Riolu was in a good mood since the pokémon was humming and walking ahead of him. Koby also relaxed here on this island and focused more on his studies.
"So Riolu, Have you learned the [Aura sphere] yet?" (Koby)
Koby's word made the pokémon sad, Koby had been teaching Riolu the way of the [Aura]. Although Koby still hadn't mastered it. Riolu still can't gather [Aura]
"Uh... Don't worry Riolu, Even in the pokémon series. It was very hard for a Riolu to learn this... Let's take our time buddy." (Koby)
Riolu nodded and kept walking in front of Koby. The pokémon tried to gather some [Aura] while walking but sadly, It failed to appear as a sphere. Koby patted its head gently and keep on encouraging his partner.
And when they got back to ship, the others are already there. Sanji set the campfire and was preparing their dinner. Luffy and Usopp were already having a dumb conversation while Chopper and Robin got along now.
(Heh... Looks like the two bonded well... Yup, Chopper's cute!) (Koby)
Koby plopped down to the log they used to sit beside the campfire. He then started to note all the observations he had done to the animals leaving here.
Infernape had befriended the local monkeys that's why it was easy for him to study them. and because of this, the Ape started to boast to Riolu and when the baby pokémon started to use an attack move, Grovyle intervened and settled down the two.
Grovyle keeps on shaking its head after seeing his fellow pokémon fight. the gecko then approached its trainer side and stayed close to Koby.
While Koby's busy, his R-phone beeps and there was a mail/text from Koza. Stopping to take notes for a moment, He checked the message.
-Hello Koby, This feels like I am dreaming... We, the pokémon center had already published your Ma-... Mangga is that what you called it? Anyway, Thanks to the rumor. Volume I of the Pokémon series that you made is sold out, and the total of what we printed was more than what you told us.-
Koby gulped, forgetting to scroll down. He focused more on the part where his Manga was sold out. He clearly remembers that he had suggested for Koza to print was 500,000 copies. They had already gathered many printing machines from selling the casino gadgets or things.
Koza too had many friends and subordinates when he was the rebel army leader. With this, it isn't strange for them to work hard and surpassed the 500,000 copies that Koby suggested. Koby scrolled down to continue reading.
-we added 1,000,000 more from what you had suggested bringing it up to 1,500,000 copies. It was done by working at night too. Since it was sold out... From the crew's perspective, Koby was eating properly and with a deep look but if they knew that this kid is now a millionaire, surely, Hell would break loose.
Shortly after, The crew embarks and sets sail away from the island. Koby was the watcher for the night and was having trouble focusing.
Koby called his Co-founder of Pokémon Center, and the call connected. The two started to talk until it was dawn. They had strategized what the Center would next. Luckily, Koza acted immediately and had already planned to open the headquarters that was designed to be an arcade and a Pokéshop.
Koby advice Koza of buying shops and make it their Pokéshop to sell goods. It was interesting for Koby to know that due to the rumors in Alabasta, A rumor that the Hero is the one who made the Pokémon series, The Volume I had been sold out.
With this, Koby doesn't have problems anymore regarding money. It will surely snowball from here except when there's external intervention from the Higher-ups of this world.
(Don't you worry Elders... I will surely drag all of you down here, corrupt nobles of the world!) (Koby)
Koby swears this on his mind while looking at the sky. he also didn't forget about the lower world or the Underworld, They would surely move if there is a gathering of money.
After Monologuing to himself, He opened his pokéshop and directly bought the electric ring gem with his remaining money.
"Yosh, time to build up an electric resistance!" (Koby)

Sorry for disappointing you all, It's not a legendary Pokemon but it is still a celestial.
It is one of the four symbols of Chinese constellation. That's why I wanted some suggestions about mythical creatures.
As for the Legendary pokemon, I already have a plan for them. It is still early for them to make an appearance in the first half.
By the way, One newspaper in One piece is 100 ฿. A branded shirt in One piece cost 10,000 ฿. lastly, a cotton candy cost 500 ฿. so the manga is so cheap that a kid could even save money then buy it.

Self Insert as Koby with Poké Balls and Pokedex as a system. One Piece has many animals (except chopper) that can be tamed. This story will be like a retelling of One Piece but with Koby in the mix of all the adventures of the straw hat pirates. Also, maybe there's a chance to put pokemon in the world of one piece.

Espera! Vamos ignorar o fato dela ter pegado a mais fácil possível, desde quando a ela chama o Lê de Leonardo, eu tinha quase certeza que ela tinha começado a usar Lê, que inclusive é bem mais curto, por tanto uma forma melhor de chamar, entrem para a facção do Lê!
Inclusive esses dois estão agindo como amigos, mas não sei, eles não parecem conversar muito, para começo de conversão o que virou aquela carta de amor dela, esqueci completamente de perguntar sobre isso.

No fim eu ainda tomei um soco sem motivo.

I remember still at the studio when talking about the ideas for our one-shot story I was practicing using dip pens while Hirohito and Reina read the drafts that were left and were unpublished.

"Hmmm, why are these panels small and too simplistic it so different from any other manga I've read," Reina asks but it was indirect
"Ah, that's because my father used to draw gag manga, that is why it looks simple and small the target audience is for children mostly, but you have to do a storyboard that fits your story but if you just want to write a script then just be a writer and collaborate with someone else."

NOTE: Gag comedies are usually episodic, focusing on a specific pun, joke, situation, or character, for a series of episodes for anime, or one or more chapters for manga. The breakdown is similar to a single sketch in a stand-up comedy show. The best examples for this genre are "Gintama, Daily Life of Highschool Boys, Sket Dance, and Nichijou: My ordinary life." Basically a comedy or a parody.

"Of course, when I draw it I'll decide on the composition and change the panels around some more, but you've got to give me the base to draw from."
"All right I'll do it, I'm really excited about this now!" Hiro excitingly replied, "So what kind of manga do you like even if we were childhood friends I know we still do have a different interest because even we did share manga's before those weren't really what we like right?" Hirohito excitingly answered
"HAHAHAHA, I remember dissing about that manga about shapeshifting from human to a Shiba Inu to get girls." 
"HAHAHAHA, and I replied that it was an awful technique to get girls just because a woman loves dogs especially cute ones!"

"So what are you interested in?" Reina breaks the conversation with a serious face.
"I really love to check the mainstream, typical battle manga which is exciting and from weak to strong. Just like My hero academia, One piece, black clover, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure."
"I see, for me what I'm interested in is more like sci-fi battle mangas or alikes, Dragonball, Gundam, I'm also recently hooked in a manga Dr. Stone it is so awesome a post-apocalyptic world where people turned into stones and a highschool genius works his way to restore the earth. How about you Reina."
"Uhm, I read mostly shojo manga now, Fruits basket, Kamisama Hajimemashita, Banana Fish, Skip Beat, Blue Spring Ride, and Kiss Him, Not Me."
"As expected of a girls' choices but of course it is helpful for the heroine point of view, Aha! Reina helps me with the girls' point of view since I don't really good understanding of it."
"Eh? But different girls have different choices, likes, and dislikes, so I don't know what I can help you."
"But aren't girls have similarities right."
"Yeah, but I'll do my best."
"That's our Reina!" 
"Our" Reina eyes opened wide and blushed as Akihito said that she is theirs.
Back to the present where we are heading to my apartment and discuss things to my parents my mom specifically.
"Aki, I'll drop by the convenience store to grab us some snacks just mail me what you guys want to have. I'll be back in a jiffy." 
"Alright hurry up, I don't want to get everything misunderstood you know." Looks at Reina
I am just being careful because my family is a little bit crazy and annoying when it comes to me taking someone home especially if its a girl. It's not like I don't like bringing home friends they just overreact first we need to clear the radar of my little sister, second act seriously towards mom and dad if ever anything happens. I just hope not to mess this up but as I opened the door right in front of me is my little sister of all human beings!


"MAMA, PAPA! Big bro brought home a girl." Aki's little sister ran towards their living room.
"WHAT! OUR AKI HAS BROUGHT HOME A GIRL!"
"Oh my, oh my, I haven't prepared a feast, Darling I'm going to buy groceries really quick."
"Take the car it will be fast enough, ah the camera, where is the camera."
"SHUT UP YOU TWO" I shouted to stop them it is not that I disrespect them this is just our daily interaction at home.
"Is not like she's my girlfriend or anything! We are here to discuss with you something, and dad you're here I see you got home early from work then how about you join us, Hiro will be here later on." I ended the conversation
"Pardon the intrusion, I am Kawasaki Reina from Akihito's class."
"So you're Reina, Takaeshi's niece nice to meet you! How is that creep doing recently?"

"As usual he is still a creep hogging the school's office for himself."
"HAHAHAHAHA, that a**hole he never changes, I would like to meet him again and get a few drinks then talked about our school days."

"Alright enough with that shall we discuss something now."
This is the rule at our house if I have a request or a problem, I go to speak with my mom first then she'll discuss it with my dad when I am out of my room or for this instance I am with my friends so we will wait for my dad to come home and discuss it together, first is her replies if she stays quiet for a minute it means she agrees then will give an answer.
"Mom, I want to be a mangaka."
"I know you'll ask me that but haven't we talked about this before? I did not agree with this." 
"Then I'll give you conditions, I'll go to high school and college if I didn't go anywhere with it by the time I graduate college then I'll quit." 
"But that just means you'll do anything you want until you got into college."
"Your father did it back when he was your age I understand that but he decided to stop that to take care of us didn't he?" 
"Just talk this out with dad, please?"
"Fine, what say you dear?"
"Actually, I was the one who gives him the idea but I was thinking as the usual son he will decline because he wants to do his own thing but he called me a few days back and he said he agreed."
"Why didn't you tell me ahead of time, Aki?" 
"Anyway, dear I am responsible for it and there some things we must leave for our child to go for with."
"Leave him and let him learn a lesson the always thing you say when we are arguing."
That's right I always do my thing back then and they'll leave me alone until I got tired of it and move forward but this time everything is changed I'm gonna live up to my dad's dream and make them proud.
"Big bro, Hiro is here."
"Just in time, anyway do we agree on this one?" I looked at my parents and all they did was smile.
"Aki, I'm sorry I can't find the drink you asked me to get so I just gave you the second option matcha soda."
"That is good, you are not my childhood friend for no reason!"
"Kids, stay over here until dinner okay? I'll prepare food for everyone we got quite a stock and I don't want it to just go rot." my mom didn't always do that but we always prepare food that is too much for us and it just goes to waste.

"I'll just mail my mother that I'll be home late for club activities."
"I'll do the same."
"Alright so is everything ready for our meeting?"
"Yes, here it goes!" Hiro handed me the storyboards he made last night
The titles were obviously focused on the shounen genre but we have to read it one by one to see what fits our taste so that we could get the best out there and stood out to get members for our club.
"Okay I'm done reading, how about you?"
"I'm done as well."
"Same" 
"Now let's do our votes by title and give feedback for each?" 
"I'll go start with Party Boys, so the story goes around with a young elementary student who wishes about adult activities and be able to do it."
"I don't like that kind of story it kinda drops in the middle, so here's the other one I go with Secret School Club where the members commit child pranks like hiding items, tailing someone in secret, etc."
Our meeting goes on until the dinner was served and we started to finalize our discussion, the chosen title was the Secret School Club. My dad decided to read each storyboard as well and find the secret school club interesting and reminded him of his childhood with his best friend or we know as the current school director of our school right now.

"As a child, Kenji Yoshikawa did everything by himself and dropped it once he was bored. But his family is full of mystery, especially his father, a retired mangaka. After finding out the secret behind his father's actions, he decided to pursue becoming a mangaka. After this, surprisingly, he somehow managed to get into a harem due to his manga works."

"You...you... No, what I mean to say is why are you in Tokyo?" Miyeon asked after much difficulty.
"Hmm. I had some business nearby." Lu Minzhe answered nonchalantly.

"Here?" (Miyeon)
"Mhmm" (Lu Minzhe)
 "In Shibuya?" (Miyeon)
"Mhmhmm" (Lu Minzhe)
"On this particular Friday afternoon?" (Miyeon)
"Yes!" (Lu Minzhe)

"And you just happened to be walking alone by Don Quijote and coincidentally saw me?" Miyeon asked apparent doubt in her voice.
"Hearing you say it like this. It sounds like fate huh," Lu Minzhe answered with a cheeky smile.

'Fate my ass. Does he have some sort of tracking app on me?!' Su Ning shuddered at the sudden thought that Lu Minzhe might be a stalker. Noticing Miyeon's suspicious glance, Lu Minzhe attempted to keep a straight face as he asked, "You aren't possibly thinking that I am stalking you?"

"..." (Miyeon)
"I'm hurt." Lu Minzhe said, trying to appear sullen.

"I didn't say that," Miyeon replied, her tone conciliatory and her face devoid of expression. 
"But you were thinking it." Lu Minzhe insisted.

"..." Miyeon remained poker faced on the outside but was still wondering why she keeps running into this unnecessarily handsome CEO.
"And here I was thinking this was fate," Lu Minzhe spoke, appearing crestfallen.

"But! Since we both happen to be alone, I thought we could keep each other company." Lu Minzhe continued in a chirpy mood. 

'His mood changes at the drop of a hat. Is it okay for a CEO to be like this?' Miyeon pondered over Lu Minzhe's capriciousness unaware that his attitude was only like this with her.
 
"Did Shu Li inform you of my whereabouts again?" Miyeon finally asked. The man walked over to face her and bent down so he could be at eye level with this petulant beauty.

"Don't be mad. I just finished some business nearby and Shu Li happened to text me that you were alone at the moment." (Lu Minzhe)

"I am perfectly fine going around by myself," Miyeon responded with slightly furrowed brows.
"I know you are. This big brother is the one who shamelessly wants to spend time with you. Would you let me? Hmm?" Lu Minzhe spoke in a soothing tone as if coaxing a child.

Miyeon stared at Lu Minzhe disbelievingly for a few seconds before letting out a loud sigh. 
"CEO Lu...with all due respect, I don't think you would be interested in partaking in the activity I am about to do."

"CEO Lu?" Lu Minzhe repeated with a tone of inquiry. 
"Minzhe-ge," Miyeon promptly corrected.

"How can you say such a thing? I am interested in knowing whatever my little sister likes," Lu Minzhe fired back with a smile.
With narrowed eyes, Miyeon pondered, 'Since when did I become CEO Lu's little sister?' However, not wanting to waste anymore time to discuss the matter she gently pulled Lu Minzhe's sleeve to guide him into the manga cafe. "Let's go in. I have a lot of things I want to accomplish before I meet up with Shu Li and the rest later," Miyeon declared with as much authority she could muster.

Lu Minzhe had to stifle a smile at the young lady's serious attitude; he was actually quite surprised that such a beautiful and indifferent woman would be into these kinds of things. The workers apparently thought the same as well; they all looked mesmerized at the extremely attractive young woman who went up to the register to book a theatre room for 2 hours.

Miyeon didn't seem to have any awareness of the effect of her beauty as she casually smiled and spoke to the man working at the booth. Though not completely fluent in Japanese, her handle on the language is pretty impressive for someone who learned through language exchange using an app, italki. Shu Li would often bring her to Japan for business so Miyeon thought it would be helpful to also study the language. Of course, she isn't able to conduct business in Japanese but daily conversations are something she could easily handle.

As the enamored young man working at the register was explaining the facilities available at the establishment, Lu Minzhe suddenly stood very close to Miyeon and angled his body such that he was able to place his forearm on the counter directly where she stood. This sudden display of intimacy surprised the manga cafe employee and for a split second he had a devastated look on his face. 'Ah! Of course such a beautiful woman would already have an equally handsome boyfriend,' the employee thought dejectedly. 

Meanwhile, Miyeon felt it was annoying that Lu Minzhe was crowding her when the rest of the counter was free. Miyeon tamped down her feeling of exasperation and decided to just focus on finally getting to spend a few hours reading her comics. 

And so, the two settled in a cozy theatre room and with a stack of comic books and began to quietly pass the time. Or at least, Miyeon had hoped to read in silence but the man seated beside her began to make random sounds. 'Oooh' 'Ahhhh!' 'Oh man!' 'Wow!'

Finally unable to control her temper, Miyeon snapped, "Would you please be quiet. The walls are made of cardboard. They're pretty thin."
"Oh! I see. I should sit closer to you so we can talk without disturbing the other patrons." Lu Minzhe said with a bright smile.
"That's not the …" Miyeon was about to say 'point' but she stopped as she caught sight of the comic book in Lu Minzhe's hand.

"Is that...Fruits Basket?" Miyeon asked with a skeptical expression on her face.
"Oh you know this!? It's pretty funny! I suddenly felt like rereading it again." 

Miyeon looked at the pile of books beside Lu Minzhe: Ouran KouKou Host Club, Skip Beat, and Strobe Edge. 'Aren't these all shoujo manga? It's already  surprising that CEO Lu even knows about these places but he actually reads girls' comics!?' Miyeon thought.

"You like these types of manga?" Miyeon asked incredulously.
"Mhmm! Which ones did you get?" Lu Minzhe craned his neck to take a peek at Miyeon's stack of books: Tomie, Museum of Terror, Kamisama no Iutoori Ni, Shingeki no Kyojin. Her picks were gory horror and action type comics.

 "Wow. I need to remember not to make my little sister mad. Who knows? You might just hurt me using the stuff you learned from your books." (Lu Minzhe)
"..." (Miyeon)
"I have to say your book preferences do not match with your image at all. I never thought that an aloof and quiet person like you would be into such gorey stuff. You're scary." (Lu Minzhe)
"..." (Miyeon)

"But it's alright big brother will not forsake you despite your weird preferences." Lu Minzhe vowed with a self-satisfied expression.
"It's okay. You can forsake me." Miyeon refused point blank.

"No! I keep my promises! Big brother will stay with you." Lu Minzhe earnestly insisted. 'This time for sure.' Lu Minzhe promised to himself.

"Just read your books." (Miyeon)
"Shu Li is right you are so cold." (Lu Minzhe)

"If you can pass the next hour in silence, we can have dinner together." Miyeon finally conceded, throwing out bone so she could enjoy the rest of her reading time in quiet.
"Call!" Lu Minzhe grinned in response.

Lee Miyeon (Irene) was adopted as a child when her parents who were Korean immigrants died in an unfortunate accident. Her foster parents initially treated her kindly but  changed after they were able to conceive a child of their own. She was eventually sent abroad after a traumatic incident threatened the Lee Family's reputation in high society. Yet soon after, the family's business takes a turn for the worse and Miyeon is abandoned completely.

Now an adult, she returns to her home country and meets Lu Minzhe (Parker James), seemingly for the first time. The  handsome and successful CEO of a conglomerate does not hesitate in using shameless means to chase Miyeon once he realizes that his feelings toward her is love. However, happiness appears to be always a step away as Lu Minzhe also harbors some secrets that are tied to Miyeon's past. 

Meanwhile Jesse Evans, a strikingly attractive model and old college friend, unexpectedly confesses that he has been in love with Miyeon for the past 7 years. Jesse who came from a privileged background has spent the past few years working hard to be recognized by Miyeon as himself and not as the heir of the Evans Family.

As both men vie for her affection, the beautiful yet apathetic Miyeon learns love is a sweet and wonderful thing.

Get ready for a love story between an outwardly warm but cold & depressed protagonist and her outwardly cold but doting handsome male lead.
