On the “Death Gun” incident that occurred in the gun and steel filled VRMMO called Gun Gale Online (GGO). “Players who are shot by a mysterious avatar with a jet black gun lose their lives even in the real world…” 

Charlie Gray AKA Häyhä, (his account name), he is renowned sniper in GGO nicknamed the "Phantom". After logging on to the game  for the very first time in many weeks, he witness the first death that was committed by Death gun, but strangely enough he got a message from the killer himself, claiming to be his "old friend"  

Charlie took the matter into his own hand and logged on to a Japaneses server where he encounter another renowned sniper, a female sniper named Sinon who owns a gigantic “Hecate II” rifle. With Sinon’s help,  they decides to enter the “Bullet of Bullets,” a large tournament to choose the most powerful gunner within the realm of GGO, in hopes to become the target of the “Death Gun” and make direct contact with the mysterious avatar.

Two years after being trapped in a death game, Sword Art Online, Akio Fujimura was relieved to be alive but the guilt of the many fallen keeps haunting him. 

But he was wrong to assume this was the end.

The situation worsens when the mysterious messaged Akio, claiming to be an “old friend”. 

Akio, AKA Nomad,(his in-game name), took the matter into his hand and return to Japan for one last quest. He’ll encounter a renowned sniper, a female sniper named Sinon who owns a gigantic “Hecate II” rifle and a few of his friends who are experienced at the game. With their help,  they decide to enter the “Bullet of Bullets,” a large tournament to choose the most powerful gunner within the realm of GGO, in hopes to become the target of the “Death Gun” and make direct contact with the mysterious avatar.

(Story rewrite)

Zhang Han's heart clenched, painfully so. He felt angry and annoyed at Vaien who had boasted time and time again at how flawless he was...but he supposed that this time it was more so Kalla's fault than Vaien's. With how tense Vaien had been, Zhang Han could believe that he acted hastily, not paying close enough attention, and then got caught.
Were they...even still alive? Wasn't Vaien the one who said he'd never put his own life on the line to save him? Now Zhang Han knew he was being the fool, coming after him like this.
Zhang Han grit his teeth, his hand clenching over his laser gun, and banished these thoughts.
But his legs still kept moving forward through the forest. He didn't want to give up. 
What would he even do if Vaien was dead? Where would he go? Survival would become all the more difficult. That was why even if Vaien wouldn't risk his life to save Zhang Han, Zhang Han would risk his life to save him.
Ah, plus, he supposed Vaien was good at cooking.
Zhang Han heard a noise among the trees webbed with silk, and his eyes flinched around the dim area, trying to catch sight of the source. 
It was a skittering sound, like multiple legs running along the silk threads, and he realized that the sound came from a thing only a few steps ahead of him. It was only that it was behind something he couldn't' see through. 
A giant enclosure of silk...like a huge tent that went over the tops of tall trees, and there was a circular opening near the front that was about two meters in height. 
Whatever made the sound was just inside of it, and it was possible that Vaien and Kalla would be in there too. Although alive or dead, he wouldn't know…
Zhang Han firmed his gaze.
He needed to find a way to draw the creature out so he could go inside and check for them. 
Going off his previous observations, to create a distraction he'd need to make a vibration that mimicked something being caught in this creature's web.
Scanning his eyes over the area, white silk threads hung off just about every branch and leaf besides the few bare spots, including the one he stood in now. Lifting his bundle of rope off from shoulder, Zhang Han tied the end into a loop and carefully threw it over a branch far away from him, one with spider silk hanging off of it.
He really hoped that whatever was in there would fall for this trick and not come running for him instead. But age, fuck it. Zhang Han began to pull on his end of the rope.
It went taunt from where it hung, in front of the spider silk cove, then he started shaking the rope, in turn shifting the branch with the silk attached. Rustling leaves filled the air with noise, then he heard that creature skitter around again. 
Long, hairy legs appeared out of the spider silk tent first. Then half of a body, one with giant mandibles twitching and countless black eyes dotting its head. It was a spider with claws on the ends of its feet, as tall as their snoufle mounts. 
With surprising quiet, it went towards the shaking branch one step at a time. One of its legs was missing, a hole where the joint used to be attached and was dripping green blood.
The spider was curious of the shaking branch, two of its front legs reaching up towards it with caution.
Zhang Han knew the moment had come, he pulled as hard as possible, snapping that branch with the rope and letting it fall on top of the spider's body. He dropped the rope in the next moment to prevent himself for getting pulled by the spider. Then as fast as he could manage, with all the strength he could muster, he ran into the spider web tent. 
Around the same time the spider rapidly began flicking its legs, trying to get the rope off its body in confusion and turning in circles. He was well aware that such a distraction would only last seconds.
Inside was even darker, but he could make out the surroundings.
A number of tight woven cocoon shapes, varying in sizes, were within the tent. They hung off the walls and ceiling in abundance. 
Which one was Vaien or Kalla?
He caught a flash of red hair from one silk wrap that seemed incomplete.
"..." Probably him. It dawned on Zhang Han that the 'skittering' sound he heard earlier was the spider wrapping its silk into a cocoon. After all, since it didn't make much noise while walking, then this explanation made sense. He'd arrived just in time for it to be in the middle of wrapping Vaien up. 
Fuck, Zhang Han felt so close to success that he didn't even care if that spider rushed in at any moment. He reached the cocoon in a few steps and both his hands dug at the silk.
And yet it was to no avail, the spider thread was not only flexible but powerful like bendable steel. The more he tried to wrench it apart, the more his fingers were cut into by the threads. Blood dripped onto the white cocoon garishly. 
An angry sigh left Zhang Han's lips; he couldn't break it on his own.
"Urgh…" he heard a muffled groan from within the cocoon and the threads beneath his hands shifted slightly from a source within. The entire cocoon shuddered as though the person within was trying their utmost to break free.
Zhang Han had another idea, although he didn't like it as much.
He took his laser bow off his shoulders. 
Typically he was a great shot, but in this case he didn't know where Vaien's body was within the silk, nor was the lighting good, and it was also close range...but…it was better than doing nothing. 
He pulled the string tight, a bright blue light flaring out, then let it fly. 
A blue streak shot horizontal against the cocoon, breaking through the strands with a searing noise. He hoped it was enough to allow Vaien to break free.
The ground vibrated as the spider stepped back inside, free of the rope.
Zhang Han furrowed his brow, keeping his breathing as steady as possible. He drew back the string of his bow again, knowing that this would be his only chance to attack before the beast discovered him and retaliated. He wasn't quite certain where to aim, and went for the center of its forehead.
A shimmering blue whizzed at the spider's head, but the beast reacted as though aware ahead of time, ducking as the arrow cut through the top left of its head, destroying at least three of its compound eyes. More green blood dripped and its mandibles twitched as though it were pained, yet it was far from enough to stop it. 
The spider quickly turned its body and shot silk at whatever threat had just injured it.
Zhang Han flinched but was unable to dodge in time.
Half his body was covered in a soft and sticky thread that stuck him against the wall of the tent with little room to budge. 
As the spider tested the strands of silk, trying to see if something was there, Zhang Han glanced at the cocoon that probably held Vaien. He'd blasted away at least half of the silk.
Suddenly tan fingers poked through from within.
A ripping noise filled the space as Vaien tore through the remainder of the wall. His muscles strained and ached from it, but he burst out of the silk and fell onto the ground, chest heaving.

Zhang Han crashes his spaceship on an unmarked planet in the outskirts of a solar system. After being rescued from death by a red-haired man, he finds a world foreign to him. One occupied by ferocious beasts and run by the wild laws of nature. 

His rescuer offers a deal: He will teach Zhang Han how to survive in exchange for sex.

Will Zhang Han survive in such a primal world, and can romance ever develop from a casual fling?

ZH: Stop.
ML: Hey, you don't have to be so sour. I'm grilling your favorite fish for dinner tonight...

"...Read the inscription on the tome" Akpan replied smiling. His smile was a smile of liberation. Heck why won't I smile after all the god damn stress I have been put into within a span of three days. Akpan felt liberated,the kind of liberation he hadn't had in a long while. Thought of constantly being on the hooks where no more. He was free, no more scary comic relief again. He began envisioning what he will do for the rest of the day. 

" In the time of the crazy attacks by the white men, a fearsome curse has been placed upon us. The city is cursed. Old men are dying, the kids, the youth, the men and even the livestock. I Have querried the gods but they appear to be silent. The city council has decided to abandond the city, Every step and street you can see a corpse. This is a never before seen curse. I had warn the villagers not to let the white men desecrate the village by steping feet here . No one listened 
 
They let the white men in and even let them to began digging tunnels in the village in search of their white stone which they call gold. It first started with the white men after they dug a tunnel under our water source. They began dying. Their leader turn crazy saying our water source is contaminated. What contamination. Tufiakwa we have been drinking from here right from the time of our ancestors.
   
Though the city council is leaving. I will wait behind till the gods reply my querry.,for I cannot leave the shrine…". The write up ender there.
     
Saviour took a deep breath and sighed. Akpan looked at the tome clicking his tongue no one knew what was going through his mind. He was probably consumed by the euphoria of his discovery. 

Then like a snake which was stalking it's prey for the opportuned time to strike and which had gladly found its chance, they was a sudden scream.

"Arrrrrrrhggggggggghhhhhh". Saviour was startled and Akpan' was shaken out of his Euphoria. What is the cause of the damn noise now.Saviour thought. Heaven, for God's sake he had gotten enough of this shit of a place. Before he could pull himself out of his displeasure and get a hold of what was happening, a mercenary was seen running towards them. He was panting and breathing, heck, god knows he would probably soil his clothes if he spent another second in this accursed place. Heavens, for God's sake if given a choice he would probably like to be somewhere in Europe now sunbathing at the beach. 

"What is happening now?" Saviour inquired from the mercenary in anger.heck for every little thing this group would make unnecessary noise and scamper around like a bunch of kids and sheeps without a shepherd. The Mercanary took a deep breath to calm down. He lifted his finger and pointed to the direction he came from. His stoic and scare inducing face couldn't hide the fear in his face. Saviour sighed knowing that this man had lost it, he would probably need to free him from.his fear soon. He began running alongside Akpan to where the mercenary came from. Once the mercenary noticed their departure he began screaming in hysteria while running after them

".... don't leave me to this cursed place alone. I don't wanna die".. 
The three  soon arived at where the mercenary referred to, they saw the group of mercenaries keeping some  distance from a man who was convulsing seriously on the ground. Saliva spluttering from his mouth and he was talking bla bla bla their doom to no one in particular. Saviour walked to where the man was lying on the ground and took a look. Behold it was Oy. 

"What happened here?" He barked at one of the closet mercenary turning to face him in fury his back facing the god damn convulsing annoying prophet of doom.
"He just began convulsing and screaming 'curse curse curse 'they was nothing wrong with him prior to this. I don't know it seems that this place is seriously cursed and haunted" 

 "Shut your trash up" Saviour barked at him in anger. He turn to look at the convulsing man and turn back to look at the group and continued "just kill him . I don't want any dissension in my camp. Understoood?". The mercenaries noded in response. 

"Ta ta ta"  sound like gunshot was heard then three swirling bullet went pass dropping three mercenaries dead. The bullet was nocked into their brains. They where dead before a second not knowing how they died who or why they where killed. 
 "Shit! The fuck hide!" 
 "Who the heck shot that" 
"Where we followed" 
"Curse the coward" 
 The group of mercenaries ducked down, scampering for olaces to hide to save themselves heck no one was planning to die today especially not in this accursed place. They all thought. Everything was in chaos. No one noticed that the convulsing body had stood up and unarmed one of the now dead mercenaries and quickly tiptoed to  where Saviour hid.

Saviour was confused and perplexed. How the heck did this even happen under his watch. Who was the shooter, why where they targgetted?. Was it the government. A lot of thought was running through his mind . He failed to observe the shadow that was quickly gaining up on him. A hand quickly clasped him from behind in a military move covering his Blindspot and preventing from unhoisting his Berreta Model 92 semi automatic service pistol. He felt the cold feeling of something at the back of his neck. He was badly startled. For heaven's sake what the heck had happened. 

"Try anything funny and I'll shoot your brains off" . This was the voice that welcoed Saviour from his thoughts. Heck he thought for heaven's sake is this not Oy's voice. Wasn't he convulsing or something. . The voice continued " i wouldn't have known that you where this of a scheming person. Heck you even got me." The voice paused. "Give the instructions for your bunch of men to Stop firing at my man or I'll put you down first".

 Saviour was badly startled till he soiled his pants. Heck he was bot trained in military tactics to handle any of this. The only thing that made the brotherhood put him in charge of this god damn mission was his scheming mind. He was in no wasy good at all the gun making noise. He was at a loss as regards what to do. 
"Do it now" rhe the voice thundered silently. Pressing the tip of the gun more deeply into the back of his neck . Saviour shuddered at the thought of what could happen.
 "Stop shoootiinnggg! " He thundered.

Akpan a love lorn man walks into an ancient and rummored acursed land unknowingly after his failed date. while there he discovers a queer object. A discovery which leads to further discovery and eventually to the activities of an international organisation known as the BROTHERHOOD and their plans Towards theECOWAS head of States meeting in Abuja.

On the boat, Max was feeding the little cubs some dried fish. "Father, how far are we from reaching our destination."

Sven, who was helping to salt the bear meat, paused for a moment. "Approximately past noon, we will reach our destination.

Although we must prepare ourselves since where we are going, there are many hot springs, so at this time, it is a meeting point for bears before they go into hibernation.

By the way, Einar, you don't think it is a bit of a waste to give fish to the two cubs when we can give them their parents' meat. "

Max just scratched his nose and stroked the head of one of the cubs. "I'm giving them fish as a little whim on my part.

After sailing for a while longer, the ship approached a great coast that seemed to be black due to the large number of stones it had.

When the ship was very close to the coast, two warriors got off it and, using a rope, began to drag it to the beach.

While the ship was dragged, everyone prepared their crossbows because they did not know if there were any white bears nearby.

Upon reaching the beach, Max got off the boat and could feel the cold air coming down from the nearby mountains, carrying with it a scent of land that, with the smell of the sea, gave rise to refreshing air.

While everyone lowered the boxes from the ship, Max gathered Eskol, they began to walk around the place to be able to choose where to set up camp.

Max, who was walking through the rough terrain, could feel a snowflake touch his face.

"From the state of this place and the snowflake that has just touched my face, I think we could be facing the first snow of the year."

Eskol scratched his beard. "That's good and bad at the same time; I think it would be best to find a place with some trees; otherwise, we could be in the middle of a blizzard."

Eskol's hand tightened a bit as he saw snowflakes slowly falling from the sky. "Let's increase the pace as otherwise, it will be dangerous for everyone."

Max nodded and put on his fur hat, then started jogging with Eskol.

As they went further into the rugged terrain, they ran into a small plateau, so they climbed, and it was then that they could see a small forest in the distance.

"Eskol, do you want to return, or do you want me to return?"

Eskol held the handle of his ax. "I'll be back, but remember to be careful, Einar.

I don't have a good impression of that forest; I can feel something dangerous hidden inside it. "

Max looked seriously at Eskol. "I could also feel a sense of danger; I guess there must be some group of bears inside.

Either way, I will stay away until the others arrive. "

Eskol just gave Einar a severe look and started jogging towards the beach so he could guide everyone.

When Eskol was far enough away, Max readied his crossbow, dagger, and ax while carefully looking out into the forest.

For a while, Max had no trouble waiting, sitting on a rock staring out at the forest.

But it wasn't until the air began to get much more potent and what appeared to be snowfall became the start of a blizzard.

'Unfortunately, I have to go to the forest to prepare a small shelter.

I suppose the danger of freezing to death is greater than I can feel in the forest.

I just hope I'm not wrong. '

Max then held his crossbow on his shoulder and walked carefully into the forest.

In just a few minutes, the wind started to get much faster, so when Max reached the forest, he walked quickly inside.

Once he reached a remote area outside the forest, Max used his ax to cut down some small trees and some thick branches.

While he was cutting down a small tree, he could hear the noise of some leaves and branches being stepped on.

So his hand stopped, and he very slowly reached down to grab his crossbow from the ground.

When Max took his crossbow very slowly, he got up and looked towards the place where the noise was coming from.

Max swallowed a little saliva when he saw a small white bear; by its size, he could tell that the bear had not long since become independent from its mother, so it should be alone.

This only relaxed Max a bit, but he knew that even as a young white bear, he would react aggressively if he moved as he would take it as an attack.

So without being able to move or run, Max felt a bead of sweat running down his face while he slowly moved his hands to point his crossbow at the bear.

The noise of the dry leaves caused by the bear who was walking slowly towards where he was, caused Max to go into high alert because his life would possibly be in danger.

The closer the bear got, Max could see the haggard face of the white bear, who seemed to be starving.

This only made Max breathe easily because if he got upset, he might not be able to shoot the crossbow accurately, as he might not have a second chance to shoot.

When the bear was close enough, Max could see the predatory look in the white bear's black eyes.

Those eyes made Max see that the confrontation was inevitable, so when the two blinked, time seemed to stop for both of them.

The seconds seemed eternal for Max, but when the noise of some leaves was heard, Max's senses returned to normal.

It was then that he could see how the bear rose up on two legs and lunged at him.

At that moment, Max pulled the trigger of his crossbow, and the bolt went through the bear's throat, but this did not stop the inertia of the bear's hand that ended up on its head.

At that moment, time again seemed to slow down, so he could hear and feel how those claws cut the metal of his helmet as if it were paper.

After slicing through the hoof, the bear's claws dug into its skin and cut it steadily, in a desperate attempt to prevent the claws from injuring its eye.

Max pushed his head back, thus preventing his eye from being destroyed, but this did not save the rest of his face where the claws could hurt him.

When the claws left his face, Max was disoriented by what he could only feel as the white bear was pushing him with all its weight.

So when his head hit one of the logs he had cut, he regained his consciousness and could clearly see the bear's angry face.

"I'm not going to die being bear shit."

After saying those words, Max raised his hand and could feel his armor being pierced by the bear's teeth, so he gave a cry when those teeth reached his skin.

Feeling the pain of being bitten, he used his other hand to grab his ax from his side, and with all his might, he buried it in the bear's left eye.

This caused the bear to let go of Max's arm and give a muffled cry of pain as only a large stream of blood came out that covered Max's entire face.

Max, who had lost his vision from the blood in his eyes, could only feel the trembling body of the bear fall on his chest.

The pain he felt and the inability to breathe properly caused Max to use his only free arm to push the head of the white bear.

Using all his strength, he managed to push him just enough that he could free his bloody hand, but it was at that moment that he felt himself lose his consciousness.

So using his last strength, he took a piece of log and placed it under the bear's body close to his chest.

For if he lost consciousness with his chest oppressed by the weight of the bear, he could die.

When he was done, he simply closed his eyes and lost consciousness.

Max, a Mexican military man, loses everything in a mission that goes wrong so he ends up reviving in the year 830 at the beginning of the Viking Age, as the son of a Jarl in exile named Einar.

Einar can overcome the challenge of surviving a hostile world where only the strongest can live. It is up to you to find out.

"Down to brass tacks. Forneas." Trix clicked his fingers to stir Forneas into action.

The animachine rummaged around the insides of the night table drawer and returned with a big box that he placed before me. He opened the box to reveal clothes. I gawked at the pile.

"Dumping your laundry on me?" I looked to Trix.

"Call it a welcome gift," Trix declared. "Who knows how long that tunic you're wearing will last before it drops off. Although I wouldn't find it a displeasure, to see you running around in your birthday suit."

I cringed at his tacky words and gingerly touched the cloth.

The white butterfly collar blouse felt smooth and fluid. The gentleman's navy-blue vest was unexpectedly light even with the middle row of pure brass buttons joining the flaps together.

I unboxed a pair of crease-free tanned cotton pants, suspenders, a dark double-belt pouch, gray flat cap and open finger gloves.

The red bow tie next to the cap had intrigued me the most. I had only seen great scholars wear these in Bulldog's newspaper books.

"I'm sure I'll be smarter if I wore this." I blurted with glee, holding out the bow tie before me.

"Unlikely," Forneas flatly answered.

"Mean!" I pouted, figuring out on how I should dress in the outfit.

"How long you're going to sit there?" Trix suggestively smirked. "Hurry up and undress."

An unpleasant vibe ran down my spine.

Small Cap scrambled up my arm to stand guard on my shoulder.

_"Not worry Freend. I bite big two-leg's face if he causes trouble."_ He reassured me.

I peered at Trix's face, wondering what he was thinking.

He was, as Death would describe such a man, handsome. His unseemly behavior was a major turn off. Who the hell kisses a stranger upon first sight?

"You're not implying I undress before you?" I frowned.

"Embarrassed? No need to be. We're both men." His form of reassurance achieved the opposite result.

"I think not!" I nervously snapped.

My heart thumped wildly against my chest when Trix approached the box of clothes.

The potent scent of vanilla and citrus from his body made me feel off balanced.

He pulled out the shirt and laid it against my back. I was too petrified to move away.

Small Cap raised his legs and swiped at the pervert's face.

I yelped when his small body flew across the room from the back-hand hit Trix had given in retaliation. He landed to the ground unconscious.

"Small Cap! You bastard!" I spat at Trix.

It didn't faze him. He held my arms down and pulled me to his body.

"Now that the critter is dealt with, I'll help you undress." His hot breath heated the back of my ears.

My cheeks became flushed by his presence.

"Please stop." I whimpered.

Obscured images flooded my mind. I felt my will slip away.

"Master Trix!" Forneas knocked Trix off me.

My senses recovered along with the will to move. I shuffled away from the man who was shaking his head out of a daze.

"H-Hey! Whada Sol? B-Back off you p-pervert!" I stammered my threat and shuffled to where Small Cap was.

My mind scrambled for an escape but failed. I couldn't think straight in this dangerous situation. The ground quaked beneath us, adding to my escalating discomfort.

Running boots and curt yelling approached the room.

Two boys about my age, wearing glasses and donning the same uniform as Trix, minus the ropes, stormed into view.

"Report." Trix ordered the intruders.

"We have a problem," stated the boy wearing thick framed glasses.

He stared at me for some time before speaking again. "Strange prisoner."

"Unexpected intruder, carry on." Trix corrected the boy.

The other boy pushed his round framed glasses up the flat bridge of his button nose.

"The skrit in the West Wing have gone berserk. They're attacking any knight and prisoner they come across." He soberly reported.

I was surprised by the serious frown creasing Trix's forehead. His mannerisms to the other boys contrasted the treatment he gave me. Was his perverseness a way of testing character?

"How many knights are stationed?" he coolly asked.

"Four squads. Colonel had Colin's team come in from the field to help. I don't know how much longer they can hold out," said the round-glasses boy.

He noticed me for the first time.

"Captain, you don't think..." His voice trailed off.

Fierce tremors shook the walls.

A gust of icy wind chilled my face. A group of hairless and eyeless tree-men in black suits barged into the room.

It was them. The ones responsible for my misery. The rage I felt for revenge replaced every other emotion in my heart.

"Bastards!" I lurched for them with fists raised, ignoring the warnings from the other men.

A tree-man grabbed my arms, raised me to the air then slammed me to the ground with brute force.

"Ugh!" I cried out from the jarring pain I felt to my back.

High pitch shrieking attacked my eardrums. It was silenced by a wave of blue light.

"Stay down!" The round-glasses boy shouted at me.

He pulled out an iron marble from his coat pocket and threw it at the tree-man.

I shuddered at the shrilling noise the ball made in the air before it pierced the tree-man's chest like tissue paper.

The demon burned with white light; its body was sucked inwards. A light shower of glitter replaced the creature.

"What?!" I gasped.

The room became an overwhelming din of shrills and high-pitched shrieks. My rage changed to fear as I was unable to move a muscle from the deafening noise jabbing at my eardrums.

"Eguzkiaren argia, sua deitzen dut!" Trix bellowed.

Fire balls formed in the air to hit the tree-men. The ones before us shrieked and writhed with pain before transforming into free-falling ash or glitter

Tree-men reinforcements entered and faced the same drastic fate. Where one skrit fell, another entered to take its place.

The noise intensified, air crackled and became hot.

"Aargh!" I cursed as I struggled to free my ankle from the clutches of a tree-man.

Swooping sounds blew across my ears. I was momentarily disoriented by a series of white flashes. My vision cleared to the sight of the tree-man's hands crumbling to ash.

I relished the short-lived relief to my ears.

A couple more knights entered the room to aid the fight.

"Get him out of here!" I heard Leinard shout out his order from behind them.

He skillfully hacked his way inside with a pair of daggers.

Small Cap was still unconscious near Leinard's boots. I scooped him up and into my pocket before he could be stomped on.

My countenance paled at the sight of three tiers of jagged teeth bared before me.

"Buddha protect me." I panted.

The tree-man shrieked before it imploded into a glitter shower.

The atmosphere became unbearable; it was hard to breathe, see anything. I was too fatigued to move.

"Goddamn useless weakling," I mumbled my self-loathing. My eyes drooped heavily.

Hands pulled me up. I groaned in Trix's arms as he carried me out of the lantern room.

A thumping pain to my temples forced my mind into unconsciousness.

It strives to be a novel that can be enjoyed by anyone. Our main character is a loveable fool with a godly strength to his sword.

Several years before the beginning of the story, Ermos Windbreaker finds himself to have a talent with the sword. With the arrival of a wandering warrior in his village, he decides that he will challenge him, though he had yet to own a sword of his own. There he racks up his first victory, wood against steel. Though, as it happens, no one saw that duel of his and they dismissed his claims as the rantings of a mad fool.

A peculiar case of bad luck followed him around for a while. He would demonstrate his strength whenever he got the chance, but there was never anyone around to witness it.
That was, until he met Pash. In a village southeast of the Untamed Forest, a grimy boy was wandering through houses abandoned by war, searching for food to fill his belly. It happens that was very same village the infamous Bored Bandits had set up camp in. They seize the boy with the intent of selling him as a slave.

Ermos wanders by with much the same intent as Pash – that of searching the abandoned houses for food and wealth – and he too attracts the attention of the bandit crew. He manages to defeat them with the same accidental ease that he had won all his duels in. Seeing such strength, Pash begs that he take him on as his apprentice.

Not entirely understanding the responsibility of a master’s position, Ermos agrees. The two of them spend three years questing for their fortunes, but cursed with Ermos’ notoriously bad luck, nothing ever comes of it. Ermos turns to gambling – being the fool that he is – to try and reverse his fortunes, only to land himself in a terrible amount of debt.

The weight of that debt finally gets to him, and he loses the enthusiasm he once had, working himself into a rut. That is, until, he meets a drunk trader on the road who offers him ‘magic stones’ in return for his horse. Of course, Ermos accepts, not realizing that he is being fooled. But as fortune would have it, a scam points him in the right direction and he explores the ancient ruins of the Stone Tree.

I woke up to a sudden high-frequency sound reached my ears, it was so loud and at the same time, I can barely hear it. I covered my ears and so did Sellainor, the sound wouldn't stop and it seems that the others sleeping aren't bothered at all.
"W-what the hell is this?"
"It just suddenly came out of nowhere!"
"This is hurting my ears! C-crap, I don't want to be deaf!"
"C-calm down! Let's assess the situation...from what I can barely hear it seems to be coming from one direction!"
"Should we follow it and find the source?"
"That'll probably help us out!"
"Hop on!"
Sellainor transformed into her wyvern form and I hopped on. The sound was creating soundwaves in the air strong enough to cut down trees but luckily the trees were far from us so I don't have to worry about the others.
"It's coming from the north, towards the border!"
"Guess we'll be visiting it then! Full speed ahead!"
"Aye!"
Speeding through the dark night, only illuminated by the moon and the glowing white skin of Sellainor, we made our way north to the border. The sound got louder as we got nearer.
"Can you still keep up?!"
"Aye!"
After a few minutes of cruising through the air at violent speeds, we passed fields of trees, and finally, the grey wall that separates the two halves of this world was just right in front of us. Looming over us, the wall was as high as the tallest mountains...no it's even taller!
"S-so this is it..."
"I can't even fathom what kind of entity even built this..."
"Tarus! The sound is coming from below!"
"Let's land then!"
"Aye!"
Landing near the source of the noise, there was an entrance that seemed to be similar to a temple. Huge columns support the triangle-shaped "roof" and in the middle of it, all were two huge stone doors. The entrance itself seemed to be made of stone, the noise came from inside and it went out of the cracks through the seam of the doors.
"Look's like this is it."
"It looks manmade! Who could've built something this intricate?"

"Who knows? Let's head in."
"Aye!"
Pushing the giant double doors felt familiar...how many times have I pushed double doors? My anxiety welled up as the doors opened and a cold gust of wind chilled my body. The sound got louder as if it was calling for someone...for me...I took steps forward, my vision dimmed, my body felt heavy and cold.
"TARUS! SNAP OUT OF IT!"
Is someone calling for me? But I don't even see anyone...If I remember correctly I'm all alone in the dark...walking towards...nothingness? What's even going on?
[Tarus?]
"Zeichi?"
[W-what are you doing here?]
"I felt something calling for me...wait...why weren't you able to contact me? How did I end up here on the other side when I came out from my sector?"
[Tarus...at the moment I can't explain right now...]
"TARUS!"
"S-Sellainor?"
"You're going to get caught by the chains!"
"O-oh..."
I turned my gaze unto the entrance and there was an endless abyss of chains...
"Are you alright!?"
"Y-yea...I'll try to get rid of these chains..."
Zeichi was right in front of me...is something blocking us off? Maybe it's got to do something with me being here on the other side...
"Do what?"
"Corrode them, like this."
I summoned the Nemax and imbued it with corrosion, once the tip of the blade made contact with the chains, they started to dissipate.
"W-wow..."
"Let's enter shall we?"
"Aye!"
Without the chains in the way the room was empty and dark, the sound became louder once more and the source is likely to be ahead of us...
"The sound became even louder! I might not be able to bear with it!"
"Calm down, Sellainor! Ignore the sound and keep your mind clear."
Since it was too dark, I used the white flames as our light. The room inside seemed so small compared to the humongous border.
"Wow...these carvings seem ancient..."
"They depict war, bloodshed..."
"I don't like the aura of this place, let's find the source of the sound so that we can get out of here as soon as possible."
"Eeeep!"
"Sellainor?"
"I STEPPED ON SOMETHING! IT SEEMS TO BE A PRESSURE PLATE!"
"D-don't shout!"
The noise stopped, a light appeared in front of us, chains rattled, something was trying to break free violently. 
"Sellainor, keep your guard up."
"Y-yes..."
I got near the source and to my surprise, there was a sword thrust into the ground and chained. This blade was the one rattling strong enough to produce those sounds...Just before the blade of the sword, there was a huge ornamental circle with two arms in the middle...a clock? The pommel also looked like a clock, the blade itself was covered in scratches and very dull...
"A sword?"
"What's it doing here then? Why is it all chained up?"
"To prevent someone from stealing it?"
"Possible."
"You ought to be careful approaching it Tarus!"
"I'll take that to mind."
The closer I got, the more violent it shook, cutting the iron chains free by using corrosion the sword stopped moving and it pulled me to grab it which I couldn't resist. Crap it's too strong...a few more feet and I'll be coming into contact with the sword.
"Tarus!"
"Stay where you are!"
Then suddenly the blade flew to my right hand and the pulling stopped which got me off balance. The sword was light and the clock in it started to spin violently.
"Ok good thing the pulling and annoying rattling sound stopped."
"Well, that was anticlimactic..."

"Haha, good one!"
As I laughed at Sellainor's joke, the sword shined a bright white light that blinded us. Time itself started to crumble as my perspective was warped and cracks started appearing on my vision.
"SELLAINOR!"

"TARUS!"

[Welcome to the dungeon of time...] a mystifying voice suddenly spoke

On that day...that single day...was the beginning of the end...I don't know how to put it...the pain and grief of seeing the village I grew up in...blown to smithereens, leaving no soul behind...lucky enough for me and Cherri that we somehow managed to survive...the fates of us who survived...I regretted everything that happened...I just wanted to live a normal peaceful life...not to suffer like this...  Upon placing the anklets on the women's ankles they began to glow. With a shattering noise they were free fron their enslavement curses. looking around the women begin to show joyous expressions as they realize their free. Watching them the mans mask began to change a large white grin began to appear spanning from ear to ear.
 "Welcome to the free world all of you. My name is Dr. Ocsi D. ord and I only accept payment in gnome heads and the occasional hoagie!" Feeling confused the girls look at him with a questioning gaze. Instead of answering their questions he pulled out clothing from out of thin air. "You might want these." handing out the clothing "T-thankyou," the melodious voice of the second girl says "but why did you help us?"
 "Hm was it a set goal, was it a whim, was I board, or maybe I did it cuz I could In any case the answer relates to why not." as he says this the smile in his mask grows.

Ive read all these novels with an op character hiding who they are and wants a quiet life so lets flip the script and follow a young lady who comes across the litteral incarnate of chaos who vowed to never be board again

"This," heaving up the stone steps, I grit my teeth as I force myself to continue upwards. "Sucks!"

Finally, atop a short landing, I can let myself get some rest. Dropping down the two buckets of water, I stretched my weak, shaky, and sore arms. How the hell did we get roped into this again?

Oh right. It's thanks to our 'wonderful' Master.

After the Senior Sister and I returned to Yu Lan Peak, our 'gracious' Master started our training immediately.

Who would've thought it would be just a super long list menial task like… fetching water.

Or washing the mountain of dirty dishes…

Or washing and mending Master's clothes…

I don't see how this could help us advance in our cultivation or anything.

Master, are we your disciples or just glorified maids because to me, it's starting to look like we're doing all the chores that you are severely backed upon.

I'm starting to wonder if that's why Master chose us in the first place.

Senior Sister suggested that we bring up some outer sect disciples to start fixing up parts of the manor for us. However, Master rejected the thought.

"It would ruin the, um, the mystique of Yu Lan Peak, uh yeah," Master said while trying to think of an excuse. "Plus, think of this as a good bonding moment for you two sisters as you undertake difficult tasks and, um, train."

Mystique my a*s.

I'm sure after the disciple selection; many students have already been disillusioned, so what's a few more at this rate.

I heard the sound of wood hitting stone as Senior Sister dropped her bucket down, the water sloshing dangerously close over the edge of the wooden bucket.

Senior Sister winced as she rubbed her red hands as little cocoons started to form in the palms of her hands.

"Let me carry your bucket, Senior Sister."

Senior Sister flicked her eyes up to me as she stopped rubbing her hands. "No need," she said as she grabbed the bucket once more, blue veins protruding from her white hands as she struggled to lift it.

No need!?!

Senior Sister, do you think I couldn't hear you struggling to carry this bucket of water as water sloshes all over the place!

Look, your shoes and the front of your skirt is wet from the water lost!

Plus, it would be a shame for Senior Sister's beautiful hands to get messed up.

Compared to my tanned hands with layers of calluses on them, Senior Sister's were that of a noble young miss. White and smooth as if carved from the most exquisite mutton white jade.

"Too late, I'm stealing your bucket," snatching Senior Sister's bucket, I quickly picked up the other two with my free hand.

"Zhu Na Ran," Senior Sister cursed as I heard her attempt to run up the stairs after me.

"Hehe, want to carry it, come after me then," I smiled as I used up the remainder of my energy to skip up the remaining steps up to the next landing. Some of the water from the buckets spilled out from the jerky movements, and for that, I mentally shed tears.

My arms burned as I strained myself to keep pushing forward.

However, if it means that it would relieve Senior Sister from some hardship, then it would have been worth it.

Skipping up two more steps, I unceremoniously dropped the three buckets of water down, spilling a bit off the water as I did so.

"Ah, that was so painful," I groaned as I rubbed arms.

"Then," Senior Sister heaved behind me. "You shouldn't have done something stupid like that," and gestured to the trail of split water trickling down the stone stairs.

"Well, not all is lost," and pointed to buckets that were still more than half full. "See, we still have a decent amount anyway, so don't cry over spilled uh, water."

Senior Sister looked me in the eye for a while, her eyes narrowing by the second. A scary chill went down my spine before disappearing. "Fine, but if we need more water, then you have to go and fetch some more."

"Yes, sir!" I saluted. Whew, it was getting cold right there.

"Hmph," Senior Sister sighed as she picked up one of the buckets, this time with more ease, and walked ahead. "Try to keep up."

Smiling, I quickly picked up the other two buckets and chased after Senior Sister. "Hey, wait for me, Senior Sister."

"Bang! Bam!"

Lying still, I listened to the series of banging rang through the quiet night air.

Did a wild beast break into the manor?

Well, to be fair, there was no wall to block any animals from coming in, but there was still a barrier around this place.

Sitting upright, I look over to Senior Sister's sleeping form across the room. She didn't seem disturbed by the noise. Huh, I thought she was a light sleeper.

Slowly moving aside my padded quilt, I stealthy stood up from my sleeping mat. Reaching over to my boots, I slowly put them on.

"Bam! Bam!"

Freezing, I stopped to check if Senior Sister had any reaction to the sudden noise.

Ah, okay, none.

With the lightest footsteps I could muster, I tread across the dirt floor over to the door. Slowly pulling open the door, I cringed as it squeaked open.

Thankfully, Senior Sister didn't react once again.

Stepping outside, I carefully close the door behind me.

"Now, to find the source of the noise." Looking around, I checked to see if there was an intruder.

In the darkness of the night, I looked around to see if the barrier broke.

"Hmm, it doesn't seem disturbed," I mumbled as I checked for an opening,

"Bang! Bam!"

Turning my head to the noise, I narrow my eyes down in its direction. Could the beast be in the kitchen?

Zooming towards the kitchen, I arrived in front of the kitchen door. I noticed that the locking seal Senior Sister placed on the door broke.

Could this be a spirit beast that we're dealing with?

Steadying my breathing, I kick the door down.

However, no amount of mental preparation could have prepared me for what I had just witnessed.

Hunched over in the center of the kitchen on the floor was Master himself. Resembling some goblin, he froze in shock as he froze midway, eating a roasted duck leg. His beard and hair had bits of food stuck in them and grease stains on his lips, fingers, and clothes. Aside from the pile of bones and scrapes in one corner, these were the only evidence of his 'victims.'

Master stared wide-eyed at me.

I returned the stare with my shocked stare.

"So," Master gave a nervous laugh as he wiped the grease off his face with his sleeve. "Do you want some?" He held out his half-eaten duck leg towards me.

"Ah, this must be a dream, heh. I'll be goi-" This can't be happening.

"Wait! Wait, dear disciple," Master lunged at me and grabbed the hem of my clothes, staining them with the remaining grease on his clothes.

"Master, what are you doing," I hissed as I attempted to free myself for his iron grip. "Let go!"

"Dear disciple, don't tell your senior what you saw, alright?"

"Wah? Master, how do you expect me to keep this from Senior Sister! Look at this place," gesturing to the ruined kitchen; my heart panged a bit in pain.

After cleaning for so long, only for it to be ruined within a night.

"I know, I know! That's why you have to help this Master!"

"Didn't Senior Sister ban you from late-night snacks! What are you doing here in the first place?"

"I know, my disciple!" Master Luo sobbed. "I-I couldn't help myself! I don't even know what led me here! All that I could recall was sleeping then waking up here surrounded by food! I couldn't let go to waste! I just couldn't!" He cried but was still eating the duck leg as he used his free hand to keep a hold on me. "It's just so good!"

"When Senior Sister finds out, she-"

"She already has," instantaneously, a chill went down my spine.

"S-senior Sister," I smiled. "I thought you were asleep."

"Eh, I was," she nodded. "Until I woke to the sound of pots banging throughout the night."

"Oh, you too?"

"Eh, I had suspected that it was a beast that had broken into the kitchen for food," Senior Sister crossed her arms. "I suppose my guess wasn't too far off its mark."

"Hey! I am still your Master," Master huffed, "and I demand respect."

"Yes, and respect will be given if earned, Master. I had thought that this simple rule was simple enough for you to follow to take care of your health. However, you have proved to me that was too much of a task for you to follow."

"Hey, you don't need to be that harsh," Master mumbled.

"Master," Senior Sister continued. "Based on your selection of unhealthy dishes, I can conclude that you are not hungry, you're bored."

"W-well, it takes a lot of energy to cultivate okay."

"Then you should've taken a qi returning pill."

"Yeah, but-"

"Master," she cut in. "It's late. Junior Sister, you head back first. I'll stay here a bit longer."

"Uh, okay," I nodded as I edged towards the door. Looking back, I could see Master pleading with me to help him.

Sorry Master! This senior sister is too scary! I'll light some incense for you in the morning!

"I'm sorry my kite hit your face!"

Those were the 'legendary' first words to my fated person. 

Haha...

In the void in which nothing exist something unknown to anyone's knowledge or understanding, creating things form nothing ,awaits the time for the future to tell what its course is going to be.

In deapth of forest Pleiades, lies a small vilavil in which resides a girl by the name of Alice Blackwood. Currently she is in her house fast asleep.

She has pale white skin sliver hair and eyes, which she despises since it made her stand out and always grants her looks of  fear for some reason. Suddenly a large bang is heard from outside signaling the start of a new day in the village. At this noise Alice wake up with a start and fell from the bed.

"Owww" she lets out a cry of pain.

Alice can feel pain in the parts of her body on which she landed on i.e. her left shoulder and that side of her head. She looked into a peice of metal she uses as a mirror and spoted a bright red patch on the side of her forehead.

"Dammit" she cursed under her ragged breathe. Even after so many years of woken up like this, she still gets startled by it. After that heads towards the bath house to freshen up and start he every day life.

After being woken up by the bell in usual fashion and a hot bath , Alice got ready to go to central hall for job distribution. In Pleiades jobs were given  to every adult every day, every adult have to participate if wish to stay in the village or they would get kicked out. Today Alice got "food gathering" written aganist her name. It is the job she hated most as it requires a lot of stamina , knowledge ,strength and hard work.

After she went dining hall to eat and departed for her job. Even though there were people to grow food in the village, they still relie on forest as their main source of food.

"Only if I can be free from this" she wispered in a low voice .

She always gets this job and knows the reson why, because the way she looks. She always thought if she be a good girl th n everyone would accept her but it was long snice she had given up on this dream. She only lives in the forest to survive in this world.

 Thinking of any way to get herself free from this place Alice wandered into the forest. After hours of search, she finally heaved her sack over her shoulder and starts heading toward the village when she heard a faint noise from a nearby clearing in the forest. She thouth it could be a wild beast therefore she takes out her knife that has a short but sharp blade and approaced the clearing.

But to her suprise it was neither a beast nor any other creature but a human boy laying in the grass fast asleep.
