As I went to my bed and closed my eyes to sleep.
I saw my Android mobile home screen and at the bottom I saw an app called status and I clicked it.

seeing my stats I really felt sad.. 
after that I came back to the home screen and opened app store. 
and finally the waiting period was over, today I can download 3 more apps from the app store .

are you wondering why I was waiting because the first time I came into contact with this typical 'system type' Android interface there was my home screen * the wallpaper which I last used on my mobile  was deadpool's * and there was nothing,  no 'home button' on 'clock'  there was not even gallery  except for the app store ,  I was wondering why. 
Then I opened the app store and the only apps that are available were  [Alexa]  [status]  [clock].and then there was this message out of nowhere saying to download [Alexa]. at first I was sceptical thinking about  'is this really happening to me just like that'. (because all the novels that I read and I was excited about it.) (getting a system)
and after downloading that I gave the whole control to Alexa to download any more apps that may appear in the app store.

" Alexa ,Alexa can you tell me why there was a waiting period to download apps"

Mother Ji also fully agreed to father Ji's statement in her heart but she still pretended to be dissatisfied: "Fine fine fine! I was wrong. Rong'er is just youthful and energetic. Ji RuanYu was brought to his senses when he heard father Ji call his name. He quickly put away the blank look on his face and returned to his usual calm face. He nodded. "En."

Then he stood up from the sofa and finally noticed his mobile phone on the floor. He silently picked it up and turned it off, following his father to the dining hall. 

The servants at the side also resumed their works but they were still thinking about what happened earlier in their mind. 

Inside the spacious dining hall, Ji RongXue sat beside mother Ji while father Ji and Ji RuanYu sat across them. The table was served with delicious looking dishes but most of them were vegetable dishes that patients could eat. 

Due to Ji RongXue's poor health, she had to strictly follow a balanced diet prepared by her nutrition specialist. But her family felt bad for her so they found a skilled chef to cook her healthy and delicious food. The dishes prepared for her looked plain but were actually quite tasty. 

For someone like Ji RongXue, who had to survive eating plain biscuits and stale bread in her previous life, even this plain dish was a luxury. She was quite hungry after the whole transmigration stuff so she quickly gobbled up her food. 

Although it's said she gobbled up her food, her eating posture was still graceful and elegant. Table manners and etiquette was something deeply rooted in her bones since small so it naturally showed up with her smallest of movements. It was really a good thing that Ji RongXue in the book was a member of a rich aristocratic family or else this could've raised people's suspicion. 

Seeing her eat her food with such a gusto, everyone couldn't help but feel their own appetite increase. 

Was the food today really so delicious? 

Ji RuanYu, whose attention had been on Ji RongXue since getting inside the dining hall, silently stared at her bright eyes focused on her food then shifted his gaze to the food in his plate. He curiously raised his spoon and scooped a bit of the same dish that she was eating then put it in his mouth. He froze with his action for a few seconds then calmly swallowed the food in his mouth and never touched the dish again. 

No one noticed his silent grief as everyone's eyes were focused on Ji RongXue who was happily eating her food. Her face was expressionless but her eyes were bright like a small child looking at something tasty. 

Mother Ji was full of smiles as she helped her scoop out more food to eat. She even urged her from the sides: "Slow down, slow down. No one will steal your food. If you want to eat more, mom will tell the chef to cook it."

Ji RongXue obediently nodded at her words and slowed her movements but the food in her plate still disappeared at a quick rate. 

Father Ji chuckled delightfully, his eyes full of doting as he looked at her. "As expected of my daughter, even her eating gesture is beautiful."

Ji RuanYu couldn't help but open his mouth to ask. "Is it really that good?" 

Ji RongXue raised her head to look at him while chewing her food. She quickly swallowed it and answered with a smile, "It's delicious."

Her smile was very small but it still brightened up her fair countenance. What she said was her true thought. Compared to the food she had in her previous life, the food prepared by the chef was really delicious. It was probably the most delicious food she had after so many years. 

Her eyes were very sincere when she said it and paired with her smile, it had a blinding effect. Ji RuanYu swallowed down the words he was about to say and speechlessly looked at her. 

She...seems to have changed. He thought. 

He lowered his eyes to hide the complicated emotions and continued eating. 

The breakfast was finished in a very harmonious manner. Everyone present had a smile on their face when they went out of the dining hall. The chef uncle, whose dishes were praised by Ji RongXue, was even given a raise in his salary. He cried tears of gratitude for Ji RongXue in his heart. 

The young miss is so generous! 

The new year was in a few days so father Ji still had works to do in the company. After staying for a while, he quickly had the chauffeur drive the car to the company. 

Mother Ji also had her own company that was involved in entertainment industry but she had more free time in her hands as most of her works were handled by her vice-president. So she stayed at home to spend more time with Ji RongXue. 

Ji RuanYu was in his adolescence so he liked to hangout with his friends more than staying at home. After breakfast, he went out to play with his friends after leaving behind his promise to come back on time. 

Ji RongXue was still new to this world so she first decided to research on the general knowledge of this world and familiarise herself with the things she needed to know. 

For example, technology. 

There were no available technologies such as mobile phones and computers in doomsday. Only some technological devices used on researches were made through scarce resources and were only accessible by the researchers and high ranking members. Ji RongXue had enough authority to access it but she wasn't interested in the researches nor did she have free time to check on it so she had to catch up with the latest technologies in this world to avoid any blunder. 

But just as she was about to head back to her room, mother Ji suddenly clasped her hand and said. "Rong'er, what do you say we go shopping today? It's been so long since we last went out together. You can also tell me more about your school life as we shop around. And new year is coming so we can also buy gifts in advance. What do you think?"

Ji RongXue awkwardly looked at mother Ji who was equally looking at her with expectation and enthusiasm. She helplessly sighed in her heart. 

How can I refuse when you look at me like that? Fine, it's just shopping right? I've been to the shopping mall many times to scavenge for food while avoiding zombies. No big deal! As for familiarising, I can first look around and see for myself. Much better! 

With such thoughts, Ji RongXue nodded her head and agreed to her proposal. Mother Ji joyfully hugged her and had her prepare to go out.

She also wrapped a white muffler on her neck, wore warm gloves on her hands and a woolen cap on her head, leaving her hair flowing freely on her back. 

She didn't wear any makeup and just applied some cream to protect her skin from cold, and she was done. 

When she was about to head downstairs, she noticed the original owner's phone on the bedside table. She thought about it and put the phone inside her trousers' pocket. She could look at it on the way and have an understanding about the original owner's acquaintances and preferences. 

After a last glance at her clothes, she went downstairs where mother Ji was already waiting. 

When mother Ji saw her dress up, her eyes lit up. "My Rong'er is so beautiful! I can't take my eyes off at all!" 

Ji RongXue awkwardly accepted her praise and they quickly boarded the car after a few more words of appreciation from her mother. The chauffeur drove to the shopping centre after getting mother Ji's instructions. 

It was a half an hour drive to the shopping centre so Ji RongXue decided to look through her mobile phone in the mean time. She divided her conscious to listen to mother Ji's excited babbling and fiddling with her mobile phone. 

The original owner's mobile phone was the latest smartphone version with many features. She pressed her index finger on the fingerprint lock to unlock the phone. The wallpaper was of a selfie picture of the original owner but there was an additional guy at the back with only his side-face shown in the picture. 

She looked at it for a while then scrolled through the apps. There were online shopping apps, weibo, wechat and such other apps. The phone gallery was filled with photos of the original owner, her family and the rest were sneak shots of a handsome young man. 

This must be Mo JinChen. She thought. 

She scrolled down the gallery without looking at a particular photo and found that almost 80% of the gallery was filled with pictures of Mo JinChen. The guy in the wallpaper was also Mo JinChen. 

The original owner really loved the male lead to the point of obsession. 

Ji RongXue sighed internally. But then she decisively deleted all the pictures containing Mo JinChen and changed the wallpaper to a cute white cat's picture. 

The original owner's obsession towards the male lead was something she had to change no matter what. And now that it was her who was living as Ji RongXue, the more the reason that she erased all the feelings the original owner had for someone who didn't even appreciate it. 

The past has now passed, the future will be brighter when you let go of it. 

Ji RongXue checked the weibo and found that her posts were mostly about some cute things and trivial matters that young girls were interested in. She scrolled through them and found that there weren't much so she understood that the original owner didn't really have the habit of posting frequently which was a good thing. She looked through those she was following and didn't find anything wrong. 

Then she looked through the wechat account. There were some chat logs with some friends, maybe her school mates, and there was a message sent to Mo JinChen not too long ago. It was asking about his plans on the holiday but it was left on seen. There was not much conversation between the original owner and the male lead and most of them were just original owner's messages with only a few replies. 

Ji RongXue felt pity for the original owner. Just look, who could ever continue loving someone who never even cared about them like the original owner? It was really a pity that her love was directed towards someone who would never reciprocate. 

She was just about to check other messages when the car suddenly stopped and the driver's voice was heard. 

"Madam, we have arrived."

Ji RongXue finally raised her head from her phone and looked outside the window. Tall buildings towered above her and the whole place was bustling with activities as people went in and out of the shops in twos and threes. The sun wasn't very bright today and the air was cold outside but the atmosphere was warm as people walked past each other with smiles on their faces. 

Ji RongXue was lost in her thoughts at the festive sight. 

How many years has it been since she saw such a huge crowd of people, walking and laughing carefreely? There were no looks of despair and terror on their faces, there was no panic and tense atmosphere around the city. There was only happiness and hope for their future in their bright eyes that were full of life. 

This was something she had never even dreamed of seeing again. 

At this moment, she finally accepted the fact that she had really transmigrated inside a book.  The world was still peaceful and will always be for a long time. The end of the world that had devastated the whole world was no longer here. 

The world was still as beautiful as ever. 

Right, she had finally escaped that hellish place. And now, she was granted a new life by the gods above so she must not make any mistakes and live well. She will live well for the sake of the original owner, for the sake of her dead parents' wish for her survival, for the people who truly cherished Ji RongXue.

Ji RongXue turned around and smiled brightly like the sun. It was the first ever smile that she showed after coming to this world which was filled with pure happiness and even had a hint of getting relieved from some invisible shackle that was restraining her before. 

"Yes, mom."

Ji RongXue woke up to find herself suddenly transmigrated inside a book that she read in her previous life. Suddenly finding herself in a world that was still peaceful, sky still clear blue and the people still bustling around with no sights of those horrifying rotting monsters, Ji RongXue felt that it wasn't so bad even if she got transmigrated into the body of a cannon fodder.

Her role in the book was of a cannon fodder female character who was a queen of seeking death. She even had congenital heart disease which she used as a weapon to attract the male lead's attention. Heck, it wasn't her heart that was sick, it was her brain that was sick to the point she became stupid!

"Please.. wake up, Nano." His voice trembles.
Nano could hear his voice, but she doesn't recognize it. She couldn't open her eyes and could only feel the warmth of his hands and hear his soft cry. After feeling the warmth of his hand fade and the door closed after him, she slowly woke up. Her head was ringing and hurting from drinking.
She sat up, but could feel herself barely able to do so. The blanket was wet of tear drops that was from the man earlier. She looks at her hands and it was different. It was much skinnier and paler with the bones almost sticking out. Her weak body turns to try and find a mirror to see how much she had changed.
Just as she was about to get out of the bed and search the drawers, a nurse came and saw her up. The nurse quickly ran out, informing that the patient had woken up.
'Why was that nurse wearing cat features? She even has the whiskers. Did I pass out that long that the trend has changed?!' Nano thought to herself.
The doctor quickly came in and took a blood test and how she was doing. She had noticed that every single one of them had something that wasn't humane.
"Do you remember what happened?" The doctor asked her.
"Not really.. I only remember when I passed out and my head was hurting so much from drinking." Nano answered.
"Drinking? Miss Nano, your body is already weak from overworking, how can you talk about drinking? Luckily, you weren't drinking and had no alcohol in your system when found." He sighed.
"Overworking? I only have a part-time job... did I really overwork myself after getting drunk? I went to work drunk?" Nano questions him.
"Miss Nano, have you really forgotten? You may have amnesia. You should get some rest. I'll end my questions here today. It's good to see you up." He said and got up to leave after getting his papers together.
"Hmm."
She looks at the drawer next to the bed. A phone was atop of it. She didn't recognize the phone, so she didn't touch it. She could only spend her days either sleeping or looking out the window.
After a few days had gone by, she really couldn't understand, but could make out what she understood. Everyone had some sort of inhuman features. She had looked human herself, but her canine fangs were sharp and it stood out whenever she smiled. There was also no one there to visit her or talk to her other than nurses bringing her food or the doctor coming in to check on her. Which she thought was strange, considering that she was heartbroken a few days ago, her friends should've definitely been there once they heard that she was awake.
Although she remembers everything well enough, the doctor decided to diagnose her with amnesia since she couldn't tell where she worked or where she lived. The doctor said that she could go home 2 days if someone came to pick her up, since she had been diagnose with amnesia.
The phone on the drawer had also been laying there as if the owner was her. She picks up the phone and the lock screen wallpaper was a lonely rainy picture. She press the home button, and the phone opens upon the fingerprint, confirming that the phone was hers.
Once it opens up to the home screen, the wallpaper was a very awkward-looking picture. There was a man and her, standing side by side. They weren't hugging or holding hands, just standing there. He was looking off into the distance, looking displeased. While she was looking at him with those loving eyes.
'Who is this? Do I know him?' Nano thought to herself.
She decides to explore the phone and goes into the camera roll. There were 136 pictures of the same man. The man never smiled, only bitterly looking away or at the camera. Even in the videos, he had rolled his eyes and faked a smile. Even though she didn't know the guy, she could feel heated just by looking at the attitude he was giving to her in these photos and videos.
"Who does he think he is? Why do I know such an ungrateful guy?" She angrily mumble to herself.
She deletes the photos and videos of him and her together. After deleting many pictures, there were only three photos left. One was a selfie, the second was a photo of herself and two other girls who looked like they were on friendly terms with her, and a third photo, which consisted of a young boy and herself when she was younger. However, in that third photo, he had large ears and tail, unlike her.
Upon remembering the hateful photos of the bitter-looking man, she decided to change the wallpaper of her home screen to the young boy and her, thinking it was best to see some cute photos.
"Is this really my phone? Why do I only have three photo after this? Who are these people?" She questioned herself.
As she was looking through the phone, a text message popped up. She didn't recognize the name called, 'Chris'. She opened it and the picture of him was the exact same as the man who was in her camera roll.
The text reads: Hurry and get discharged from the hospital. I haven't been eating well.
"Well, well..."Nano could feel her face darken, "You haven't even paid me a visit in a few days, and you expect me to just get out of here? Easy for you to say, Chris."
Her tone was sarcastic, and she felt like vomiting if she ever met this guy. He was too rude, even in his text. She sarcastically verbally repeated what Chris had said and didn't feel like replying, leaving him on seen. She then looks at other apps that the phone had. The apps were a bit different from what she was used to, but it was similar in a way.
As she was scrolling through FaceBow, in walked a man with long silvery hair tied back who was in a suit. She quickly puts away the phone on the drawer and looks at him. As soon as their eyes met, his ears perked up and his tail wagged, but his face remained perpetual. In his hand, was a bag of a delicious smelling item.
'This.. isn't Chris, is it?' Nano thought to herself, 'no, no, no. Chris had black hair and violet eyes. If so, who is this?'

Nano Walker was heartbroken and had gotten herself drunk. She had stupidly walked off the cliff and found herself transmigrated. 

When she woke up, someone had just left. She soon found out that she wasn’t herself as Nano Walker, but as Nano Harlequin, a worker who had overworked herself.

However, one thing was strange. Everyone wasn't human, including her.

Two weeks passed in a blink of an eye. Nothing much has changed at this point but Tynan was starting to be a little curious about the things Laura was hiding. Hence, he decided to put in some effort to sneakily do some research about the other AI assistants that G-phone boasts about. The results were disappointing.
While G-phone intended to revolutionise the use of digital personal assistants with their customisable personal assistant program, it was also full of bugs and extremely inflexible. Many people complained about the AI lacking the ability to keep up with simple tasks like basic scheduling thanks to the excessive emphasis on aesthetics over functionality. The ratings for G-phone plummeted with many tech review magazines giving it a horrible rating despite the sleek designs and affordable price range compared to the i-phone. Not to mention, the developers failed to take into consideration how much storage and processing power was required to support such a complicated AI that made the G-phones hang regularly. All in all, it was the biggest disappointment of the year for many who had high hopes.
The operating system couldn't function normally with the AI system clashing with it. Many debuggers were employed to resolve the issues but there were simply too many problems that surfaced. Just as one problem was resolved, ten more would appear. It was a losing battle and G-phone sent patches almost every day in hopes that the situation would improve but Tynan knew better. The situation with the AI wouldn't improve. It was a lost cost.
AIs were customisable upon the starting up of the new phone and users had to complete a survey to 'design' the personalities and functions of their personal digital assistants. This was something Tynan didn't get to experience. Laura was already there when he plugged the phone in for its first charging. He wasn't sure when she appeared and if her existence was reliant on the power of the phone. For instance, what would happen to her if his phone's battery died? Would it affect her? Tynan didn't want to take that chance but he did think about the possibilities.
For a logician like him, it might be easy to accept the fact that his new friend and crush was a ghost. However, a part of him still wondered how that worked. He needed more evidence to know that she wasn't a product of his imagination and depression. He had to understand how her system worked and how she ended up inside his phone. Why him?
Laura's ability to manipulate apps and programs within the phone, accessing all his accounts and using passwords that he clearly did not have made Tynan wonder if she was possibly an advanced kind of virus planted by the hacking organisations that worked for the secret service. There was a huge chance that he was just an unlucky dude selected as a testing subject of their latest project because he was someone the society wouldn't miss or question if he disappeared.
No, who was he trying to convince? He was just another friendless sap with a ridiculous imagination and a huge hole of loneliness in him. He wasn't the main protagonist of a spy movie. That would never happen to someone as ordinary as him.
Laura was still snoozing and showed no indications of waking up anytime soon so Tynan had plenty of time to collect his thoughts. The e-ghost was able to move things around with the power granted by a mysterious system. In truth, that freaked Tynan out a little whenever it happened and he tried to discreetly test how the powers worked whenever Laura was cleaning. He would try to interfere with it using radio frequencies, magnets and other weird objects just to confirm that there were no secret wires attached. It was genuine ghost powers granted by the system that made the dishrags and mops move in his house. In fact, Laura could activate her powers just about anywhere as long as it was within a certain radius. They tested that radius out and it reached as far as Laura's phone camera could see. Tynan wrote that down and made a hypothesis that the ghostly powers relied on the futuristic technology of measuring via the camera lenses. In fact, he was more convinced that the camera was a very important function for the system to work. Without it, Laura was unable to activate any of her telekinetic powers. The system would give her error messages and Tynan was certain that an e-ghost was a hybrid between spirit and futuristic technology. For all he knew, Laura might not be a person of the past, she could be a person of the future who time travelled into his phone.
"If she really was someone from the future, that system must have a program log hidden inside my operating system," Tynan reasoned. "If I can find that, surely I will come to understand more about her!"
With enthusiasm, Tynan started the long process of sieving through data files, trying to find something that appeared out of the ordinary. He might not have an ordinary G-phone but as someone who was a fan of coding, he was able to successfully figure out what each piece of coding meant.
So far, he had been on it for four hours but everything looked as per normal. Tynan didn't manage to find any strange programs that didn't belong. In fact, he couldn't find the chunk of code dedicated to the original G-phone AI. The section that other programmers shared online as examples of bugs found simply didn't exist on Tynan's phone. His phone didn't receive any patch updates either which made Tynan intrigued.
If the system file could not be found, what about the user logs? Surely he would find a clue or two there. Laura has a very active habit of messing around with his apps using his accounts. She was able to activate the camera on her own, call for takeout independently, disable the internet function just to mess with him when he wasn't paying her attention and shop for things online using his credit card much to Tynan's dismay. She even played spot the difference by shifting apps around within his phone for amusement and replaced his wallpaper with her dinner requests from time to time.
After hours of looking through the user log history, Tynan had to stop. It was getting ridiculous.
"Why isn't it here?" he asked. 
After scrolling through the logs to the very beginning, Tynan still didn't manage to find any traces of program files that matched the description of Laura's activities. In fact, none of Laura's pranks and mischief was recorded in the logs. The app access activities were recorded as the phone's user and IP location but they didn't seem to register Laura as an external program. Based on the logs alone, it appeared as if Tynan was the one doing everything from accessing cameras and changing the wallpaper. The system was certainly not an illegally downloaded or installed third-party program in his phone.
Could it really just be a supernatural interference? Perhaps it really wasn't time-travelling.
Tynan stared at the screen for a long time as the thoughts buzzed around in his head. It was cool that his friend was a bona fide ghost but he had to admit, it was also a little freaky. Laura didn't appear to have any grudges with him so his life wasn't in danger, it wasn't counted as haunting because she was actually helping. However, there was one question Tynan couldn't stop thinking about. Why did she appear inside his phone of all people? Ghosts usually lingered in the material world because of unfulfilled wishes. What was Laura's regret? 
No matter how he thought about it, Laura's existence made a positive impact on his life and it was only right to return that favour. Who was Laura before he died and what does she want?
Tynan mulled over it for a long time after shutting his laptop down and stared into empty space. Laura has given him so many things and while Tynan didn't want to bid her goodbye so quickly just when things were starting to look up but he couldn't pretend to not be curious about her.
"Let's try to search for her on social media platforms. Surely something will turn up!"
With the great idea, Tynan set to work. Unfortunately for him, Laura was quite a common name and the search results presented to him came in the thousands. The programmer gulped. He needed coffee to get through everything if he was really going to do this. It was going to take a few weeks to go through everything on the internet but Tynan wasn't going to give up. As a gamer, one of his rare strengths was the ability to persevere through mind-numbing grinds.
"Bring it on!" he folded his sleeves and boiled some hot water to make his cup of coffee. Hopefully, by the end of it all, he would have some answers.

Being a poor part-timer, Tynan could only afford a rip-off version of the i-phone called the G-phone. Never in his wildest dreams would he think of getting married to his phone - to be more precise, the thing living in his phone.

She claims to be the E-Ghost residing in the G-phone who surpasses AI like Cortana simply because she possesses intellect of her own. Meet Laura, the ghost that lives in a cell phone. Part spirit and part technology, she makes the perfect life companion Tynan could ever ask for.

Their problem? The G-phone is on a one year warranty. While they are busy overcoming their dimensional love barrier, G-phone calls. They want to take the phone back.

I checked inventory and saw mobile icon. I thought about it I got a object which looks like a phone and a pearl. Then an information went into my brain. OK this pearl seems to be the A. I I just need to drop a blood on it when I recognise me as master it settle in my soul.

I used gate to go to my location where my clone is present. I started to refine my soul by using mana and Chakra present in the world.

Mana is a higher energy used by higher beings. So the soul cultivation is faster then before. It may take like one more year to reach immortal state.

As I finished my cultivation I saw my brother entering the room with wound's on his face. He face didn't have any emotion. When he saw me he shown a smiling face and came near me.

A person born on earth who is known as trash due to no background, fame, money, but the same person can be heavenly genius if he is born on a planet with spirit energy.

She couldn't fall into this situation because she eavesdropped to others conversation and silently judged on their blind dates, could it?

Li Qin Yao suppressed her urge to scream and cry. She can only blame herself for her carelessness as she looked at the phone in her hand. 

Wait! This was not her fault!

It was that man who accidentally took her phone as he left the restaurant!

Right then, when she noticed that she had the wrong phone, Li Qin Yao has tried to chase after the man but failed. Furthermore, a few minutes have passed since the man left the restaurant. There were too many passersby, and she didn't know which direction he headed to.

Li Qin Yao returned to the restaurant to borrowed the restaurant's phone. She dialed her number and waited. Unfortunately, nobody picked it up. 

Li Qin Yao could only sigh to her misfortune when she realized that she had set the phone on silent when she entered the restaurant in fear that her phone would ring too loud and disturb other people to have their meal. 

She wanted to leave her contact number to the restaurant just in case if the man returned after he realizes this mistake, but her phone was in his hand. So, there was no point in doing that.

Li Qin Yao had waited for that man to contact his phone when he realized he had the wrong phone in his hand, but there was no call coming in at all! In the end, she waited in front of the restaurant until it was closing time. 

In the end, Li Qin Yao had no other choice but to return home with the stranger's phone. She can only hope that the phone owner will give her a call when he realized this blunder.

Li Qin Yao looked at the phone again, looking for clues to find the man still. The wallpaper was different than hers. Her phone had a picture of Casablanca lily—her favorite flower. But the one she was holding had a wallpaper of some geometrical pattern. 

When Li Qin Yao tried to access the phone, she was stopped by the keypad number. She knew that she needed to enter the passcode. There were five chances to guess the passcode. Li Qin Yao keyed in some random number, but she only did this four times in fear that the phone will be locked permanently and destroy her hope to find the man again.

Li Qin Yao cursed. She closed her eyes and dropped herself on the mattress. She wanted to shed some tears for her foolishness, but couldn't. "How can you be such a klutz, Li Qin Yao?"

Li Qin Yao glanced at her laptop again and whimpered. Suddenly, an idea crossed her mind. She could use the phone tracking apps on her phone. Her phone would ring loudly, and the man would notice that the phone in his hands was not his. After a few seconds later, Li Qin Yao realized that she had turned off the GPS on her phone.

Can she get more unlucky?

She opened a new tab on her browser and entered the social media site. Then, she left a message to Yue Xiu and a few close family members and friends about her situations. 

Li Qin Yao sighed in disappointment when no one replied. It didn't look like anyone was online since it was too late. She closed down her laptop and headed to bed when suddenly, the phone in her hand rang.

She yelped in surprise and accidentally dropped the phone. She winced as she picked up the phone again. She rechecked the phone for any damage and heaved a sigh when she didn't find any. She was lucky that the phone fell on the soft mattress instead of the hard floor.

Or else, the owner of the phone might ask for compensation later.

Li Qin Yao calmed herself and took a look at the phone only to notice that an unknown number was calling. She hesitated for a moment whether to answer the call or not.

Slowly, she pressed her forefinger on the green button and glided her finger across the screen. Li Qin Yao cupped the phone on her ear and counted to five before she spoke. "Hello?"

"Hello," a male voice spoke. Li Qin Yao body stiffened up at the slightly familiar deep voice. 

"Who am I speaking to?" the caller spoke again when she didn't answer.

"I—'m," she bit her lips. Her brain did not function well as she heard the voice on the other line. "Wait. Shouldn't you be introducing yourself before asking who I am?"

He chuckled on the other line, and instantly she swallowed. This low, deep voice... She recalled the man who sat beside her in the restaurant. The phone owner?

His voice sounded a bit different while he's on the other line. His voice actually sounded a bit better. A bit sexier. 

"My name is Zhang Yu Han. And you are?"

The first time he saw her, shooting a three-pointer at the high school basketball state tournament, Zhang Yu Han fell in love at first sight. When he tried to look for the girl, he found that she was not part of the school team or any other team. And just like that, his first love ended before it could even begin. 

Ten years later, Li Qin Yao was having a meal by herself after her friend stood her up. She eavesdropped to the others’ blind date, where the man was subtly trying to show that he was not interested, and the woman was trying her best to impress him. Anyway, that man did have the type of deep voice that she liked. 

However, as the man left, he accidentally mistook her phone as his. When the two met again, Zhang Yu Han was ecstatic upon meeting the girl he had fallen in love with years ago. The bad news was that: she was in a relationship.

Author’s note: This is a slow romance with not too much drama surrounding the main couple’s relationship (hopefully!). Though the relationship progressed slowly, I can assure you that they will be better, and perhaps soon, fluffier?
